Corey Deal: Great place to go and get certified for heavy equipment. From the machinery to the staff, this place was amazing. Steve is far beyond a great instructor and anyone would be lucky to learn from him. He made it feel as if you weren’t in a class, more so just going to hangout with a very knowledgeable friend (which you are). Sad it’s over, but left with way more than I entered with.

Steve is an amazing heavy equipment operator and he help me improve my skills digging holes and trenches, moving materials, grading, sloping, loading materials efficiently,setup and inspection of equipment before use, how to maintain the equipment, backfilling excavations and so much more. Noah Mazur: This is a great class to take if you want to get into the heavy equipment field. The instructor Steve is is a great teacher and a really cool guy and will teach you whatever you want to know. I would definitely recommend taking this class if you want to learn.
Elliot Arson: Steve was my forklift trainer today and he was great. Took his job seriously, but also wasn't a stiff. Learned a lot and had a great time. Steve was also really great with handing out constructiolve criticism. Not everyone has the tact for it. Looking forward to doing my heavy equipment certs next!

Season 1 Grand Champ: I just graduated from the OSHA Heavy equipment class and I couldn’t have had a better time. My names Ryan and Steve was on of the best teachers I’ve had in my my whole school career. He’s very professional and takes his time to make sure his students know what they’re doing with the excavator. I HIGHLY recommend people to take this class if you’re thinking about it because it’s well worth it.
Jared Alton: Steve is the heavy equipment trainer and he is an excellent teacher and operator. He really cares about his students and helping them fulfill their dreams. He will also teach you real life tips and tricks to getting through some of his contacts. He is a great man.
Grant Dockery: Such an awesome class to take. I recently started a contracting company, and bought an excavator. I was relatively inexperienced on excavators, and I’m so glad I decided to take the class. Steve is very educated in his field, and he knows his way around the machines like no other. He pushed me to get in uncomfortable situations and showed us how to get out of it safely, which was more than worth the sweat. All the office staff were very friendly, and the schedule is long but efficient. Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about going into the field, and wants a safe space to learn in.
Cory Vinci: I just finished this 3 week course today and I can confidently say that I have gained a lot of overall safety knowledge and operation skills here. Our instructor Steve did an outstanding job of making sure all of us were on the right track and being safe 100% of the time, while still giving us ample opportunity to figure out for ourselves how to be comfortable with the machines. He was funny and always kept us entertained throughout the long days, 7am-6pm could have felt a lot longer.Steve was also very creative in his ways of coming up with ideas for us to get machine experience, such as doing mock septic systems, inground pools, staircases, etc.Overall, I really enjoyed him as an instructor and this course as a whole, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in heavy equipment operations.
Jake G: Just finished training for heavy equipment operator at Carolina Equipment Training.First let me just say Steve is an excellent instructor. He teaches the way you wish everyone taught you a new skill. He teaches you the skills you need to run the heavy equipment without being pushy or sounding bossy. This allows you to feel comfortable the moment you step onto the machinery.The class is very hands on from the beginning. I like this style of training and for me it works better than sitting in a chair in a classroom all day.You wouldn't think you could ever know every part of an excavator let alone take a test on it, yet Steve found a way to instill this information with ease!I highly recommend Steve and the HEO course from CET. Also, the owner and office staff are super friendly! If you're thinkin about becoming an OSHA certified HEO. Stop thinking and give this play a call!

He wants you to do well if you want to do well kind of attitude!
Carson Cera: After 16 years of schooling, Steve, the heavy equipment instructor is hands down the best teacher I’ve had in my life. I cannot speak in a higher regard for the man. Jon S.: My Company had G&W Equipment come out to do a Forklift Re-cert class on a Saturday and I must say that BJ was the best instructor I've ever had. Having sat through numerous technical teaching courses and evolutions including previous forklift certification classes his was informative, practical and memorable. I learned more in his recertification class than I learned in my initial Certification course years ago. We will be using G&W, and specifically BJ for all of our future training needs.
