New Leaf Behavioral Health: what do users think?
Ria Wu: girl bye............
Aliyah B: Only giving two stars because I didn’t really like how my situation was handled my dr sent a referral over sometime in December dava called me two weeks later and told me I’d hear back and get an email weeks passed nobody reached out to me so I decided to call and they got back to me two days later I got asked all the same questions dava asked me just for the next lady to tell me they cannot take me I just felt like this information should have been shared the same day dava called me I’m in desperate need of help and I’ve been waiting since December for help I just wish I would have known sooner so I could have been actively getting help somewhere else
Haleigh Whitt: I volunteered here for the last few months and have had a great experience. The staff is truly phenomenal, and getting to know them has been the highlight of my semester.
Sonny Wynn: I have volunteered at new leaf for almost an entire year (somewhere around 11 months) . I started because I was looking for experience in the counseling field and wanted to see what it was like before I went back to school to be a counselor myself. The experience was everything I hoped it would be. I learned so much about the field and all the therapists were very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had about the profession. Every one of the office staff and the therapist were incredibly nice and helpful which was the main reason I decided to stay and continue volunteering with them even after I had felt I had gained the experience I was initially looking for. In terms of the volunteering, they have a wide variety of things for you to do and are very flexible with figuring out hours that work best for you. I would highly recommend anyone looking to gain some experience and learn more about the field of counseling or just wanting to help out a bit to look into volunteering at New Leaf!
kelly c: It took over 2 months of disorganized registration, playing phone tag, trying to fill out online forms that are incorrectly formatted, and generally slow response times to find out they’re not doing in person appointments, which totally doesn’t work for my kid. I get that people have changed their protocols for covid, but they weren’t transparent about it until I was FINALLY able to schedule an appointment, over 8 weeks down the road. Really frustrating waste of time.
Jessica Griffin: I am so grateful to have been with New Leaf Behavioral Health (NLBH) for my practicum and internship experience. NLBH has a well-developed intern program that facilitates the application of educational knowledge to the clinical setting with ease, while working with clients from diverse backgrounds. With NLBH, I was able to fully immerse myself into the clinical experience without doubt or hesitation. Dava and Patrick are both extraordinary directors and supervisors that are thoughtful and encouraging. My time with NLBH has been invaluable and I am truly grateful to have had this opportunity. I am looking forward to continuing the relationship once I am licensed. I highly recommend NLBH for anyone who may be considering!
Verge SZN: I am writing to express how happy we are as a family to have used your services. I would like to focus on Lauren Madsen. She is by far the very best therapist for my transgender Autistic child that I have ever encountered. I doubted Lauren in the beginning because my child faces so many challenges, but it impresses me some much that she never gave up and had faith. LAUREN is a true testament of loyalty and commitment and her strength and compassion is outstanding!! My child has bounced back to coming out of his room for years of staying within his four walls! He now wants to go out regularly whereas he had no interest before. There is so much that Lauren helped him with and I am forever grateful and beyond appreciative! Thank you New Leaf and thank you Lauren!!!!Pia Esposito, proud mom of Jay
Maria Fadri: I attempted to schedule an appointment, and unfortunately, I found it unusually difficult to convey an understanding of the nature of my symptoms, their frequency, or their effect on my life. I have never experienced this difficulty before when scheduling health related appointments and was very surprised at my difficulty in making myself understood. Also, the lack of appointment availability made it impossible for me to schedule an appointment. Because of these reasons, I will be taking my business and my health needs elsewhere.
Anastasia Marr: A good place to get help.
blanche mikhail: I have been working at New Leaf Behavioral Health for 6 months now and I don't have anything but good things to say about the administration. Dava and Patrick are committed to providing quality mental health care to the community and it shows. I have learned so much in the short time I have been there and look forward to learning so much more!
Nathan Webber: I have worked for New Leaf as an In-Home therapist for 6 months now. It has been a very positive experience for me overall. I feel the organization is very well run and committed to providing quality service for all of their clients. I feel personally I have grown a great deal from working with the leadership of this organization. I've truly had nothing but positive dealings with all of the leadership team and support staff. I'm grateful for the experience of working at New Leaf and hope that more individuals have the opportunity to utilize the wonderful services they provide.
Ashley Nunn: When my therapist left the agency, she made every effort to transition me to another therapist at New Leaf. I, however, googled her name and found she was working at another practice. In my last session, I asked if I could come see her at her other location. She told me she was contractually bound not to take clients with her and she again reassured me, as she had repeatedly, that my needs could be met with another therapist at New Leaf. The following week, I contacted Patrick Malloy, the executive director to ask if he would consider waiving any non-compete, so I could continue to see my therapist, as I felt I was at a critical point in therapy. Rather then hear my request, Mr Malloy took the opportunity to berate my therapists "poor boundaries," and to make other disparaging remarks about her, including trying to force a bizarre narrative that she had tried to "turn me against" the agency. On top of that, he then had my therapist contact me and recite his party line, apologizing for her poor boundaries, for anything she said that reflected poorly on New Leaf (nothing) and telling me she could not continue to see me (she'd already said this). As long as Mr Malloy is affiliated with New Leaf, I won't be pursuing therapy there and will tell anyone and everyone I know to STAY AWAY. He certainly clarified that bashing an outgoing therapist is more of a priority to him then hearing out a client and considering my request.Update: In regards to the cut and paste response posted below, New Leaf made no effort to hear me out or work with me. Malloy was rude and condescending. If this company truly valued their clients and reputation, Mr Malloy, their representative, would have conducted himself professionally or at least not like an uneducated jerk. Trash talking an outgoing therapist while refusing to even acknowledge my question are really two marks of someone who is insecure and unethical and should not be in a leadership role, in any business, much less the executive director in a helping field. Feedback was attempted to be given directly but Patrick Malloy was seemingly incapable of listening and instead was rude, insensitive and unprofessional.
Rosie Rohrs: I am a former volunteer who spent roughly two and a half years at New Leaf. Volunteering at New Leaf Behavioral Health was a fantastic experience. I loved working with Dava, Patrick, and the office staff. During my time at New Leaf I was able to work on a variety of projects, such as grant writing and quality assurance, as well as assist with the daily tasks that keep New Leaf running. My experience proved to me how important it is to make therapy accessible for everyone. I am motivated more than ever to pursue a career that will allow me to embody the mission of providing mental health services to underserved populations.
Janet Spangler: New Leaf provides excellent, high-quality care for their patients. Their team practices with integrity and respect. They are always looking for ways to enhance their programs in order to best serve our community.
Caroline Hope Griffith: The quality and commitment of the leadership team at New Leaf is exceptional. I am impressed by the quality of staff recruited, the organization's commitment to ensuring mental health services are accessible to all populations, and the patient-centered approach to their work.
Donna Lucchesi: Working with New Leaf has been very rewarding. Patrick and Dava have a strong passion for their mission to serve people who otherwise might not have access to affordable, quality mental health care.
Paula Versino: My family and I enjoyed working with New Leaf and Dava Muserallo. The staff is warm and welcoming and we felt comfortable talking with Dava. It isn't always easy to talk about personal life events but I've learned how to better handle life and relationship challenges through my counseling experience here. I would highly recommend Dava and New Leaf to anyone looking for a positive therapy experience.
Pauley Smith: Counseling here has been a great experience! The office staff has been welcoming and easy to work with , and my therapist Ashley has helped me get my anxiety under control. Plus...they have a dog at the office that is so friendly and cute! He makes me smile every time I see him for appointments.
Jennifer Shirley: Both my daughter and I had a wonderful experience at New Leaf. The staff are welcoming and it was a very comfortable and relaxed office. Both therapists that I had experience with there were very nice and extremely helpful. Bonus: they had evening hours and it was very easy to work around my daughter's school schedule.

Thriveworks Counseling: what do users think?
Heather Burnette: I love how caring my therapist is and how much they wanted to help me.
Kelly Devlin: The absolute worst experience in mental health imaginable. I was knocked down several notches in my mental health due to this. My therapist was yawning during video session. Misled and billed improperly then told it couldn’t be fixed immediately even though I called within minutes of the billing error. Wish I had read the scathing review that would have saved me from the exact same horrible experience.
Akevious Knight: Giles is amazing! The best therapist I’ve ever had.
Eric Matal: I love Thriveworks for my medication management. I found a qualified practitioner and she has made herself available whenever I have a question or feedback. I highly recommend Thriveworks.
Nicole Drake: Michael Marcinowski has a way of putting others at ease with his friendly attitude and warm demeanor while at the same time listening and providing feedback in a helpful, caring way that shows he wants to be part of the healing journey with you.
katherine santiago: I worked alongside with Caroline Carlson at a previous job and she is amazing. She is compassionate and truly cares about helping others any way she can. As her colleague, I can trust in her abilities to truly listen and not use any judgment. Caroline goes above and beyond to exceed client's needs.
Bill Guerrier: M. Marci now ski is conscientious of those he works with. Creates a helpful helping relationship that focus on your needs. You can tell he really cares and wants the best for you
Sara Murphy: Michael Marcinowski is an amazing and one-of-a kind therapist and colleague! He shows respect, empathy, leadership, and compassion. He is a therapist that you can easily open up to and trust. He will help you reach your desired therapeutic goals.
Amanda Tweed: Dory has been absolutely phenomenal!!! I actually look forward to our sessions and the zoom/virtual processes is seamless. Thriveworks is a wonderful company. I have already recommended this company to friends.
Pearl R.: Dr. Sanne Henninger is a wonderful listener and can focus on learning the root of an issue. She genuinely cares about a person.
Tiffany White: I worked with Amy Hunnicutt. She was amazing with children with autism and mental health challenges.
love child: It’s been a total nightmare with these people. Outrageous charges. Being told a psychiatrist can do something that they can’t. I keep getting the run around they charged my hsa card before my insurance. Just horrible. They keep saying they will forward issues to a clinical director and months go by and nothing happens. No follow ups nothing. First I was told they take my insurance then after going to a session they said they don’t then all of a sudden they do and then that they need to check again. Super confusing, stressful and I would not advise anyone to use any of their services. You’re better off holding a convo with someone in a supermarket.
audrey Stewart: I have recently started my journey with Mrs. Jody-Lynne and I adore her! She is kind and compassionate & keeps it real. I enjoy the perspective she gives me during our sessions. She has created an amazing safe space that is inviting & judgement free! She is such a blessing in my life!
Zaria Reep: They are exactly what I was looking for! They have been very kind and understanding.
ERICA O'NEAL: I have already benefited from your services. Would suggest you to others. Very convenient and therapist are helpful!
Mrs. David Moul: Jody-Lynne is great to work with - she holds me accountable for the list of things I'd like to accomplish (small but critical things I want myself to do) yet if you find yourself overwhelmed; she is understanding and helps you get back on track. I'd call her approach as "Let's get down to business." My house is looking better & better as time goes by thanks to her help.
Katy Mills: Huge transformation IS possible. My husband and I began marriage counseling over a month ago, once a week. Our counselor is Jody-Lynne Suda.We have been married for 15 years, and had reached a point in our marriage where our poor communication had us hitting a wall.We found Jody-Lynne on Thriveworks, and also found out that we could use our health insurance to pay for it. We just got our first statement from Thriveworks after four sessions and after insurance (BCBS) our portion was $20!Anyway, counseling is not a cure-all. It did, however, show my husband and I that we both have the skills and tools to repair our marriage. I had thought that we had tried everything and that there would maybe be no solutions. Jody worked with us and now my marriage is the best it's ever been.Jody, specifically, is super funny - keeping conversation light making sure we feel heard, and she has a way of really empowering both my husband and I to make choices on our own; she helps us verbalize our emotions and why we have them, and helps us to understand how to better listen to one another.Marriage counseling, I've learned, is not just for the couples who are fighting. It's for anyone who wants to be a better spouse.I have been recommending Thriveworks and Jody to everyone I meet. If you're considering it, please give it a try.
Sol Prensky: Lovely people to work with who really care about you
Trish Lewandowski: Amy Hunnicut demonstrated genuine care and concern for clients and their families. Recently a client and her grandmother shared with the me the progress client had made that seemed impossible, but client was doing so well she was back in school full time and in good relations with grandmother with a happy and connected family. They complemented the work with Amy helped them more than anyone ever had before.
LaQuandra Cannon: I observed and worked alongside Amy Hunnicut when serving youth that faced many mental health challenges in a school setting. She was phenomenal! The kids responded well, the families appreciated the work that was being done, and progress was evident. Her approach towards the youth and her knowledge are definitely strong points.
Hope Lin: Very bad. Putting words I didn’t say into my mouth. Giving false assessment. Violating confidential policy. Slandering patient.

Triangle Family Services: what do users think?
Erick Winston: They are very unprofessional, they will take your money then be bias and kick you out of their program and give you a hard time refunding your money. They are very disrespectful when it comes to your lively hood, they have no compassion for your situations.you are just a tax write off to them and don't ever advise anyone to go through their DOSE program, very unprofessional and you won't learn anything.... They are scam artists !!!!
Dontavian Dancy: I have reached out a few times since Jan 31st. Currently, I still have not received a callback from the one intake specialist they have in the individual/family counseling department. I know it's difficult times but it doesn't make sense to have one person over the entire department. If they are out who is running the business?
Mick McCarthy: Great place. Caring therapists.
Jessica Williford: Called looking services for my clients and emailed with no response ever.
Lala Bell: This place is so filthy inside. The level of cleanliness is plain terrible. Families who have to go there are experiencing high levels of stress. It would be nice to have a clean place to meet with children that doesn’t remind you of a junk yard. Floors need to be replaced, walls need painting, plumbing can also needs some work. Bathroom fan sounds like it’s about to explode. Dead bugs found in the floor corners. For the amount of money families pay they could at least try to address those concerns.
Pam Currie: Counselor Alison helped a student recover from a trauma with counseling for a full year. She was knowledgeable and caring. We both loved her!
Tenika Faison: A great place for counseling. They have counseling for kids and adults. Very good therapists. Allison burke is a good therapist. The front desk staff is nice.
Zijuan Cannady: This place says they’ll help but u must call for almost a yr before u get any help by then you’ll already be evicted. They don’t pick up the phone and they don’t return your call. If u need medical or bill assistance I advise u to not even waste your time.
Jennifer Kilgore: Great place, my girls are very comfortable with everyone there !!
Courtney Luhv: I've had nothing but positive experiences with this agency. Phone call was returned the same day, staff is courteous and kind, classes are flexible with several times and days to choose from. A huge asset to our community in my opinion.
Toni Sykes: No one ever answers the phone. Nor do they ever return you calls asap or at all even though the vm claims they will. They keep giving my husband the run around as well. Claiming he has to do this class and another and another before he can do what he needs to. The receptionist shannon was rude to him and basically refused to answer any questions he had. He's trying to get things in place and they are constantly failing him. He had to go up there to talk to them and pay his fee bc no one answers the phone and apparently everyone has no fingers to return a simple call. If i could give zero stars i would.
Tiffany Newton: I have the best experiences communicating with the staff and Doctor. They are understanding and compassionate.
Gray Pendleton: TFS does an amazing job helping families in crisis in the Triangle
John Beamer: Every techniction is knowledge and pleasant and goes above and beyond furnishing customer service.
Jennifer J.: With all due respect to the previous comment (regarding the suicide), all psych/counseling services do not "cure" everyone. Sometimes people give up. I'm very sorry for her loss, but in my experience, the people at TFS really care about their clients.

MindPath Care Centers - Bush Street: what do users think?
Aaron Braun: Caring and knowledgeable.
peggy levine: I am so pleased that Liz is my care giver. She is very patient and handles issues
Lizzy Wilson: Very affordable and great healthcare workers if you don't get paired with the right one there very open to changing and extremely easy to get a hold of.
Craig Kornegay: Very good
Sylvia Royall: Great visits for med checks.I have been gaining to this practice since 2005 and have seen two wonderful practitioners previously. I now see Kerry Mackey for mostly med checks but if I need to communicate with him between visits, the office is excellent in connecting us! He is smart, kind and personable.
Crystal Mitchell: Been a patient here for a while. They have helped me overcome hard times during life.
TJ Toscano: Customer service is fantastic. Anytime you need help with anything they are very quick about it.
Debbie Sullivan: Great customer service
Carolyn Foster: Very professional and I feel like they care ably wellbeing . Mind Path - Taylor Washington
Darren Gemzik: Excellent
Hannah and Michael Zedicher: Mark Merritt is the worst psychiatrist I’ve ever heard of and dealt with. I do NOT recommend him for someone dealing with severe anxiety and depression. He made me feel so unseen, unheard, misunderstood, did not make me feel safe, did not care about what made me comfortable. Constantly got upset at me. And as someone who is suffering to function this is not how your “support team” of doctors should make you feel, especially mental health.
Fletch Penn: Kelly has helped me cope with my stresses. She is a great therapist that I would recommend to anyone. Thanks.
Joe & Lori Rayano: I always have a great experience with Mindpath services.
Sandra Spells: My Therapist is a compassionate person I enjoy our weekly sessions great advice and great listener beautiful personality
Joshua Cordasco: thorough and professional, no nonsense experience 👍🏼
TD Crouse: Blessed to have great support from my caregiver. He asks great questions to help me understand the issues we are treating. He listens, and hears what I am saying, and assures that all of my issues are resolved before we end the appointment.
Lou Ellis: Virtual visit which was productive and helpful
Debra Mahmoud: Liz follies with a phone call to make sure that I got my medicine
Elizabeth Lipsky: I was disappointed in my last video call with my NP. I elected to decrease one medication because of a side effect. She suggested I start another medication in conjunction with one of the two I was already on. I don't feel good about being on 3 depression/anxiety medications at the same time. We didn't discuss alternatives.
Staceylynn henry: Jessica Curry is great! She always listens to my issues and helps greatly. She is very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend her!
Lasha: Instead of penalizing you for missing and appt, Mindpath has a dept to help you get what you need. I will be recommending them from now on.

The Mindly Group, PLLC: what do users think?
Lykiera Lanier: For some reason the original person I spoke with keeps removing my appointments. I’ve only spoke to her once and nothing since. After getting agitated with my appointment requests not going through I tried to see if I could get another. I guess I just need another place to go to because the way my mom has spiraled down this month 😂….😒I’m surprised that I haven’t completely lost it… I usually always leave good reviews, but this place isn’t it…
Molly: The Mindly Group is a wonderful organization of skilled mental health professionals. Highly recommend!
outis: I've been going for a few months now, and the differences in my quality of life have really shown me how important a great therapist is.
Riya Bhatt: Very little communication, therapists seem disinterested and do not seem to actually care.
Joel: I've been going here for probably three years now. The first two therapists I had weren't amazing, one was used to small children and didn't know how to help a young adult, and the other was just unkind and disrespectful when I came in upset because my cat had died.Since then, I've gotten a new therapist I've been with for at least a year and a half. She was amazing at her work, but she recently left. I'm very excited to meet my new therapist!
B B: You call their number and listen to a long recording that basically tells you to go online and register. I do this long form which at the end you choose the provider you want to see. I chose one who did the specific type of therapies I was looking for and I was told was accepting new clients last month. It took over a week for my referral to go through and when it did they never called me. Fine. So I call, then fill out this form, and wait "48 hours" as instructed. I finally get a vociemail from some receptionist I can barely understand talking super fast saying I could get an appointment with so-and-so (a thearpist of a different gender and modality) because the thearpist I wanted is no longer accepting clients. So I filled out their form and waited longer for no reason. So much for trauma informed. No thanks, if I have to do another referral I'm going somewhere with better, quicker and up to date administration.
Mariela Miranda: I had some issues scheduling an appointment for my daughter however, Katie reached out to me after hearing how upset I was with some miscommunication and she was very professional and polite and immediately solved my problem. I'm very happy with their response and glad they were able to squeeze my daughter in for a sooner appointment even though they seem to be very busy at the moment. I'm eager to have my daughter start therapy next week and will update then!Update: My daughter just had her intake appointment with Anna and she was just wonderful. Words cannot describe the peace of mind we got after our session. Anna has a lot of experience working with children of all backgrounds and it shows. She was a great listener and very compassionate and knowledgeable. We cannot wait for her to begin working with our little one . My daughter is shy for the most part but she immediately felt comfortable with Anna and opened up to her. We are feeling so grateful for the opportunity of working with her. Thank you Mindly Group, from a worried mom!!
Chris McDonald: Stephanie and her team are amazing! They are so compassionate and professional. They provide top notch therapy and really go above and beyond to help clients in need. I highly recommend their services!
Carrie: Had an issue but Stephanie took care of it! :) Looking forward to continuing my therapy here since this place really did help me a lot!
Praveen Sriram: My younger brother with cerebral palsy sees one of the psychologists at the Mindly Group and I was there for one of the sessions and had a great experience. The psychologist was very caring and is a great listener and didn’t rush us. I highly recommend the Mindly Group. Thank you so much!
gregory: I had some issues with the company at first, however as soon as the owner became aware of these she made a diligent effort to correct them and did. She like any business person cares about what her client's needs are and in the future I will attempt to resolve any problems prior to just posting on Google as this can quickly ruin a reputation. Especially when they take satisfactory measures to rectify any problems.
Janice Whitaker: The positive energy and professional therapists helped me shed baggage and look forward to life with a fresh start.
Winston: A wonderful clinic with extremely helpful and professional staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during this challenging time in my life.
Ryan Phillips: Calming environment, pleasant staff, and overall a great experience. Saw a clinician for several months during a bad period of my life and I was helped dramatically. Confidentiality is key with the Mindly Group and I felt that I was always treated appropriately.

Carrie Fasola: One of the most caring therapist I've ever had the pleasure of working with! Whitney is intuitive and dedicated to helping her clients find healing and a path forward no matter the goals. Collaborative and professional, Whitney is an amazing resource for therapy!
Rose Reif: As a fellow therapist, I can say that Whitney is a true gem in our profession. She cares deeply about her clients, and is guided by her ethics and Christian values in all decisions she makes.Clients whom I have referred to her for marriage counseling report that she is encouraging, engaging, and motivating. Most importantly, they cite her as the reason that their relationships healed. She is truly gifted at helping people make lasting changes. Her office space reflects her personality; warm and inviting. I am always excited to refer someone to Whitney, because I know they'll get the best care from her.

Lotus Therapy Center, Dr. Holly Cox, Ph.D., LMFT, CHT: what do users think?
Dustin Hill: My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Holly Cox for around six years, and in that time I’ve found that she is one of those extremely rare people who is able and willing to take very complex emotional and situational issues and translate them into a relatable experience for all parties involved. It’s so obvious that she genuinely cares for her patients, and in my extensive experience with mental health professionals, that quality makes Dr. Holly Cox a very rare individual. Another outstanding quality is that she is clearly focused on all parties involved and making sure they feel heard and understood. I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. The only negative thing that I can think of is that I wish my wife and I could be friends with her without breaking moral/ethical boundaries.
KJM “kjm69” F.: A really awesome experience. The receptionist answered all of my questions and told me what to expect. I stopped in on my lunch break to pick up reading materials and got a chance to chit-chat with the doctor. She recommended a few other wellness treatments she offers and explained briefly what they'd do for me. She was pleasant, helpful, and informative. I am looking forward to my first official appointment with her!
Corinne Scholtz: Holly has such a way of connecting with others that her influence continues long after first meeting her. She is one of my favorite therapists and anyone would be lucky to have the opportunity to work with Holly. I promise it will be transformational!
TL T: For a number of years, I have had the privilege of working with Holly Cox as my therapist. She is an amazing human being, whose work embodies important qualities such as kindness, integrity, and genuine care for her patients, while being practical and positive. I highly recommend her; she is definitely a breath of fresh air!
