Annelore's German Bakery: what do users think?
Robin Merlo: Never open when they say there are. Get there before 10 or don't come at all
Karl Delhagen: Stopped by the location at the NC State Farmers Market. Bought two cookies and the man told me 12 dollars! To be honest they were not even very good. I know what it takes to bake. I do it every weekend. So please don’t tell me about what it takes. The farmers market use to be very reasonable. This was a joke. Never another penny from me. I noticed they don’t post the cost. They are counting on you to not make a fuss. Post your prices and see how much you sell!!
Michelle McClymonds-Spencer: Need to go earlier in the day for more choices. What I got was very good.
Jacqueline Gore: Awesome apple strudel!
Lawrence Cole: Good pastries, but not outstanding.
Emilee Myers: So good!!!
Sandra: The ice cream is very tasty.
Angela Thiede: So yummy but the prices are a little high
Gricelda Carrera: I loved it☺
Paul Jakubielski: Phenomenal Bread and Quiche
Barbara Knott: They have a stand at the State Farmers Market. Great selection of bread and basket treats.
Van Jones: Great but expensive.
Playa Squirrel: Amazing baked goods! The real deal - real butter, sugar.... no artificial stuff. Magnificent bread as well. You won't be disappointed.
Anisa Cutler: They have a great variety of baked goods, very helpful & patient with you
Bri Lynn: Such friendly staff and also very delicious pastries!!! Danke schön!
Alonza Watson: GBY all Be Safe Stay Alive Amen 🙏💯🙏.They were very friendly you can smell the baking soon as you walk in the door beautiful I tell you beautiful God bless you all GBY.
Heather Taylor: If you don't get here early, they'll be sold out of all you wanted! Most wonderful pastries and bakery items around, super friendly folks and always a long line as their food is just delicious! This is a must not miss shop while at the NC Farmers Market!
Russell Barbour: Amazing selection of top shelf home baked delicacies.....
Audrey Marie: Delicious chocolate chip cookies!
Timothy Swartzfager: I try to stop here every time I'm at the Farmer's Market. I have never purchased something that wasn't great.
Sean McGinty: Best bakery I've found in Raleigh

Polonez Polish-European Grocery: what do users think?
Barbara Knott: Polish foods. If you crave foods that remind you of Poland, do not hesitate to go.
Earl LeRoy: 1st time there. Authentic looking products, we'll see.
Sandy Hassig: I adore this shop! I had a crazy pierogi craving that I normally have to travel to Michigan to fulfill. The shop is tiny and packed to the ceiling with amazing imported goods. The pierogi are delicious. The owner is incredibly helpful and makes excellent recommendations.
Tbird 66: Only place in town to get sausages that aren't pork links of breakfast sausage.
Larry Cernik: Polish market offering authentic polish meats and baked goods. Many packaged products.
Richard W: Great little store to buy Polish/ European products. Just call ahead to make sure they will be open & items are in stock. (I hate people who complain about small specialty stores but don't bother to realize it's a family-owned business with a small stock room & periodically sell out fast especially around the holidays.) Meats, ham, kielbasa, breads, pierogies, candies, seasonings, soups, condiments. Just about everything you need for a whole meal. Priced as expected.
Alexander Drotschmann: Good products and we like to shop here too, but as other reviewers have experienced the opening hours are more of a suggestion. Multiple times that I came over and they are not open during published hours. Today I’ve been sitting here in front of the store with other customers now for over 30 minutes past their published opening time posted on their front door. All others already drove off not able to wait any longer and I guess I have to do the same cause there is no indication they will open today. For me that is unacceptable and disrespectful to customers when you run a store front. Its particularly annoying for me because it is a 30 mile round trip to come here. My suggestion is DO NOT make it a special trip to shop here. You’ll never know if someone is around during their published opening hours. Just shop here when you are anyways I the area and can check if they’re actually open.
Dylan Lopenzina: Amazing selection, delicious Kielbasa and the lady who works there is really nice
Sara Aguirre: Very nice selection of Polish foods. The wedding style kielbasa is fresh and delicious! The staff is as friendly as can be. Highly recommend!
Toby Goodlock: Very friendly people
MGP: Excellent place to buy freshly made products that are authentic. If no other reason go for the fresh polish sausage. Many varieties, and you will be hard pressed to find better. My favorite is the regular cooked on the grill. A tailgate favorite for my crowd.
Lucjan R: Great lil spot.
kamillimak: Lots of typical polish products you find in NY or Chicago. Pricey and the store is very cramped and prices not labeled.
Dwa tygodnie do świat Bożego Narodzenia, a mieszanka wigilijna cała spleśniała bo przeterminowana! Budyń i delicje po terminie :/ strasznie mi przykro :(
Stalowa Wola: The owner is a nice lady the store is not property run need to find another place for shopping..Frozen kielbasa is not fresh and pierogies are just awful sorry
Bobby Lee: So disappointed in this place amazing they still in buissnes how do people give them so many stars. Absolutely nothing like a Polish store no one ever answer the phone it's as bad as the one in Greensboro. I will travel to Charlotte at least the product's are fresh and they have cakes on weekends. And no pierogies are bad you can't eat them. Won't be back .
Caroline Negron: Delicious lunchmeats. I am german and cannot find head cheese, blood wurst and liver wurst (besides the liver wurst in HarrisTeeter, which isn't as good) anywhere in the Raleigh area! Go hear to get your lunchmeats and all the yummy canned veggies. Just call ahead to make sure it is in stock. I drive over an hour to get here. The family is so nice and welcoming.
stanson roach: Great place for specialty polish items you wouldn't really be able to get anywhere else. The frozen pirogis are also great
Scott Carruth: Great kielbasa lots of different choices. Good selection of pierogi.
Kristie F: Hands down the best European Market in the area. Always friendly, kind, and helpful. The variety and availability is unparalleled. They keep their Facebook page very up to date, with frequent notifications about deliveries, stock, store hours, etc. They have such a wide variety of Kielbasa (including fresh), pyrohy (many types of sweet and savory), crepes, you name it! Highly recommend.
meredith belk: I’ve been coming to the Polish store for a few months now, and it’s always a good experience! They always go out of there way to try get me exactly what I’m looking for I’m super thankful for this place! Never fail to let me down! Thanks Martha, and Andrew for all you guys do for the polish community!

Annelore's German Bakery: what do users think?
Falan E: Nice and clean space. With some seating. I frequent the neighborhood and I have always wanted to try the desserts. The German chocolate is well worth it. The German Chocolate was the best. My Mom and I enjoyed the cake. My Red Velvet Birthday cake from here was also delicious. After about two days it started losing a lot of moisture, so I think it could've been prepared with more moistness. Besides that, all of the desserts I've tried were well worth it. Annelore's is super convenient and the staff is pleasant.
C S: BEST OF EVERYTHING. LOVE THE PEOPLE AND EVERYTHING I HAVE BOUGHT EITHER AT THE STORE, DOWNTOWN CARY OR AT THE FARMER'S MARKET. BEST PEOPLE, BEST BAKERY!! IF YOU WANT THE BEST YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY MORE, IN FACT, I DON'T THINK THEY CHARGE ENOUGH. CARY, EVEN RALEIGH AREN'T "LARGE" CITIES, SO BE HAPPY YOU DON'T LIVE IN A LARGE CITY, WHERE THE PRICES WOULD BE TRIPLE!! REMEMBER THE BAKERY HAS TO PAY FOR THE BUILDING LOCATED IN CARY, PAY TAXES, IN DOWNTOWN CARY, PAY AN ELECTIC BILL, FOR ALL THOSE OVENS, PAY EMPLOYEES, BUY THE BEST INGREDIENTS, WHICH MAKES EVERYTHING TASTE BETTER THAN ANYTHING IN THE AREA. THEN ASK AGAIN, ARE THE PRICES TOO HIGH? NO!!LOOK AT MY OTHER REVIEWS AND YOU WILL KNOW I'M NOT ONE THAT BEATS AROUND THE BUSH, I AM HONEST ABOUT EVERYWHERE I GO, EVERYTHING I BUY AND THE PEOPLE THAT RUN THOSE PLACES.
Bobbi Healy: My husband and I were in town visiting family, and stop by to buy some pastry to share. The staff was great very helpful. Everything we bought was very good, so good we went back the next day and bought more for our trip back to Minnesota.
Flavia Lee: Delicious turnovers, especially the mushroom and cheese
Bela Gazdag: A good place to get some European Style bakeries. It is a little bit on the expensive side, but anything you get is good quality, ergo worth it. One thing that it's missing is a working Espresso machine.
Stephanie Strong: This is the beginning of our relationship. I will see you soon!😁😍. Get everything
Rebekah Hunter: Intentionally stopped by the booth at an event downtown today because I wanted to check this bakery out. I never made it to actually sample any goods because the man at the booth was one of the most rude humans I have ever met. All I did was ask what made a German bakery unique and you would have thought I spit in his face. I even tried to smooth it over and say, “ how interesting” to his initial rude response which only led to a decline in the conversion. Needless to say, I won’t make the effort to visit again.
Louis Pinault: Delicious! I'm definitely going back. A little on the pricey side, but excellent, high quality products.
Lyn H: Fantastic bakery! Authentic German breads and pastries look & taste delicious! Owners and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! Brings back so many great memories of living in Germany 💖! Also we visited their booth at the Farmer's market, their bismarks with Bavarian creme filling are divine! So pleased we were able to find this bakery
Rachel M: The best bread and pastries in the triangle!! Everything tastes so fresh and the pastries aren’t so sweet that you feel sick after. By far my favorite spot to get my Italian or sourdough bread for the weekas well as when I want something sweet!
Crescent Coffee: As a fellow local business, I can say Annelore’s is top notch! Everything is so clean and the pastries and bread are really fresh and delicious! If you haven’t already tried them, you must!
Elier Hernandez (Tile guy): It’s amazing 10000/10 would recommend
Riina Pehrson Gutierrez: They have excellent treats, but quality costs. My favorite offerings are their florentines and pumpernickel bread.
Fauzia Chaudhary: Nice and cozy store. Their bread and pastries are light and delicious. Could work on their coffee though:)
Tom Herndon: The owners are German and all of their foods are so delicious. Their prices are high but what you are buying is so unique and is well worth it. The pastries, cookies, cakes and all the goodies are so delicious.
J skeep: Excellent bakery. Will be coming back many times.
Ralph Smith: Great food and nice atmosphere.
Wiggy Man: It was our first time, and we will be back! We made a sample bag of several of their pastries. While the majority were phenomenal, I will say the blueberry turnover and blueberry scone were just okay. More breading than flavor. I'm not being negative and others may disagree, which is fine. This place is awesome, and we'll be back to try the cakes. Just leaving my honest review.
Christine Wei: Good selection of sweets! I got their almond croissant and it was buttery, flaky, and filling. Will definitely come back for more sometime!
Lambodar Ray: Sweetest place for a short hangout with friends and family for a snack and coffee. The ambience is lovely with affectionate staff serving delicious desserts, pastries and drinks. Very relaxing atmosphere and close to downtown Cary.

Denise Thomas: We attended a special event and found the place to be uniquely beautiful. We were indoors with cool lighting and chandeliers, but the outdoor setting is the real popular spot. It is huge with pergolas, sun sails, umbrellas and natural floral covering to protect from the sun. There are different choices of seating outside from tables, to high tops and picnic benches. I love the patio furniture and colorful benches and rockers available to sit in also. Then there’s the menu which is so different than the usual fare at most restaurants. Yes, some German foods, but don’t shy away if you’re not a German food fan. It is a must to stop in the Bakery. This has to be the best Bakery I have seen in a very long time! The fruit tart, chocolate tart are killers. But the bread choices are amazing, too. Probably my fave so far (I’ll be trying more) is the lemon pistachio scone.
