The StateView Hotel, Autograph Collection: what do users think?
Dorian Rachubinski: This was a beautiful hotel located right on campus. Lots of frogs around make for a cool night atmosphereRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
A RAS: -Be careful about bugs, there were lots of strange bugs in my room when I complained they send a guy with spray to kill them , no action to identify the infestation cause and fix it-The breakfast service is so bad, the lady that works there definitely hate her job, she is disrespectful and it takes forever to do anything.DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL !!!!!Rooms: Bug infestedFood & drinks: Tribale services
Brenda Morataya: It's pretty and the people are *very nice*However, the beds are about as comfortable as the floor and it was disappointing to not have room service from the restaurant downstairs.
Kamisha B: I just left this hotel today and I already miss it!! Beautiful layout. Beautiful room. Loved the shower. Pressure and temperature was great. The restaurant Flask & Beaker was amazing…dinner service that is!! Jayona was thee absolute best & she made our stay awesome! If this review makes it to her…please tell Jayona her “Jersey Girls” already miss her!
John M. Conroy: On the Centennial NC State campus with some rooms having a partial lake view, this hotel is a convenient and scenic place for visiting the campus.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
xpat: Great hotel over all. The only thing would be to offer guess a complimentary ice water and tea in the lobby. Coffee is the only available option.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
K H Bartoszek: Beautiful hotel. Staff was warm and welcoming. Room was very comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Pablo del Aguila: El precio-oferta no es proporcional. Esta cerca de la universidad, lo cual es una ventaja para algunos.
Lois Petersen: Beautiful, newer hotel located on the campus of NC State University. I had room 401, a spacious corner room with huge windows overlooking landscaping on one side & the city on the other. Everything is clean and well stocked. Outdoor heated pool, workout room & restaurant with bar. Some rooms overlook Lake Raleigh. What really stands out about State View is the service. It has been quite a while since I was greeted with such sincere welcome and hospitality at a hotel. Staff are very professional and accommodating. I have no complaints at all and highly recommend.
George Yorgakaros: Lovely hotel and where my partner and I stay every time we're in Raleigh. The rooms are clean and the hotel is nice - but where StateView really makes the difference is with service. Every person I've ever met at the front desk has greeted me with a smile and has been extraordinarily helpful. At the bar, Mimi went above and beyond even after they had closed to grab me an iced tea - a simple request, sure, but one that definitely put her out, given they had already closed. The fitness room is well-equipped and never crowded and the pool is comfortable and has plenty of outdoor seating above and around it.
Rene Bystron: As an Ambassador Elite member at Marriott, I've stayed at many of their properties. Unfortunately, Stateview Hotel is not one I can recommend. The hotel's physical aspects are decent. The rooms are okay and the dining staff is friendly. However, the management's lack of customer service and efficiency taints the overall experience.I ran into a problem when I asked for a simple request: to include both guests' names on the folio. I was assured by the receptionist this would be done. It wasn't.Despite my follow-up emails, I received only generic responses from a manager named Nakyla Barnes. They were quick to apologize, but my request was ignored. It's been three weeks now, and I'm still waiting for that folio. It's clear there's an issue with the mid-level management at this hotel. Their indifference towards customers' needs is shocking. If Stateview wants to improve, they must address this.In conclusion, Stateview Hotel is a letdown. If you're a Marriott member, I suggest you consider other properties.
Monica Tornros Jakobsson: We stayed at the Stateview hotel for 3 nights, and we wished we hadn't booked so many nights. Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Breakfast was so so. Rooms were way too dark. Bed did not suit me, it was so hard. My back was so stiff and I ended up sitting in the futon for the most of the night. There was of course some positive things too. Pool area is really nice. Location is great.
Brandi Myers: Very nice hotel and venue on the campus of NC State University! I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my clients!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Anastasia Marr: I need my JOB . Back . They told me I was infeasible. Unable to carry out tasks. They promised me I could come back .Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Frankie: We were attending my wife's annual Family reunion. This year it took place in Raleigh N. C. This was the hotel that was picked for the weekend family reunion . All inside festivities and the family dinner . My wife enjoyed the hotel and the surrounding area so much we extended our stay for an extra (3) days. The service is outstanding starting with the Manger Cory .Rooms: Our room was very comfortable, clean and had great lighting.Nearby activities: There are many great shops that you can walk to and shop or window shopSafety: It was a very safe area we did lots of walking around and sometimes into the late evening and the streets had plenty of lights and people walking biking and running.Walkability: This was one of the best parts of this area. You could just walk out of the hotel and everything was in walking distance .No car is neededFood & drinks: There are plenty of places to eat. There are places for great three course dinners and places for a quick bite.
David Dobbs: Beds were uncomfortable worn down too soft. The shower was awesome, very powerful. A/C was a bit noisy. Nice clean hotel. Great view of Raleigh skyline.Easy walk to nearby restaurants.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
swathi nakka: The service was very bad. No body lotion in the bathroom and have to call for that . I was asked to come down and pick it up. No house keeping for two days and the reason was they are short on their staff. They didn't even tell me thus at the time of checking in. I found a paper that had that information slipped under the door when I woke up. The water from the toilet tank was leaking and the entire bathroom was flooded. When called for the service, the answer was they have one engineer who is working onsite and he is busy, will come and attend on priority bases. I was in the toilet the next day getting ready for the shower snd someone knocked the door, even before I responded he just uncloed my door from outside a d was about to come in, I quickly dressed up and it was the engineer who was impatient and wanted to get his job done . So he can actually get into the room without my permission. Even the cheapest motel will not have this kind of pair service. This place is just overrated and a rip off.
Fredrick Powell: Rooms: Rooms are clean and spacious. Large TV with somewhat outdated streaming software (limited to Netflix and Showtime). Very comfortable bed.Walkability: Right in the middle of North Hills shopping area, you can walk to a dozen restaurants, a movie theater, and a Target.
Will Walker: Very nice hotel at North Hills. Easy walking access to several good restaurants.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Joey Gresham: We loved the area and was a great stop while traveling to the beach. We will be back soon.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, High-tech …More
robert ames: Good location, clean room and very comfortable beds.Staff was very friendly and helpful.
D Gillespie: Nearby activities: Restaurants, shopping awesome 8 minutes walk longest to fine dining.Shoppinh, just steps from exit.Walkability: Wonderful
William Hawkins: For the price you pay to stay here, this doesn't offer a good value. The beds had a heavy comforter and a sheet, but I'd prefer to sleep under a lighter blanket. The pillows flattened and I needed three. It wasn't the most comfortable, and I think a $100 room at a chain would have been better.I had to pay $10 for basic wi-fi access. Also, breakfast is an additional cost that is overpriced for what you get.It is close to a good number of restaurants at least.
Fay Fletcher: This hotel was perfect for my weekend getaway! The decor and pleasant employees were a plus. The location is top tier, with all the stores & restaurants that are within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here if your looking to park the car and walk to all the hit spots nearby. 💎
Mike Hill: Great Hotel with food and shops all within walking distance!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
S S: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.They canceled my reservation when I arrived saying they were overbooked. What hotel does this? It's like flying now?Never again.
Clarice Ward: I am local to the area so I was very excited to stay at the hotel; North Hills is a top tier location and there is much 'hype' about the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, but they seemed a bit frazzled. I was also only provided verbal suggestions on where to park and how to access the hotel from the parking garage, a printed map would've been helpful. The room was...disgusting. There are stains on the carpet yellow stains on the pillowcases but, the bathroom was the worst - there was a huge toenail on the floor, hair on the toilet seat, in the shower, and on the floor. The bath mats were also dingy. The housekeeping manager was overflowing with excuses and the housekeeping staff looked disheveled. Cleanliness is a major issue at the hotel, but apparently Marriott management is oblivious. This is NOT what I expected from the hotel. It claims to be a 4 star hotel but it showed more like a 3 star. The stay was definitely not worth the price tag.Based on my recent experience, I'd advise to skip the hotel and enjoy the wonderful dining at the surrounding restaurants instead, lodge somewhere else.
John Schmeling: Beautiful hotel. Lots of good shopping and delucious restaurants nearby.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More
Santosh Dash: For the price and brand , the rooms are bare bones. Courtyard and residence inn around the area has better rooms , amenities is foodz concierge is great .. location is the best that works for this place.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Morris Chang: Very noisy at night when your room facing to the highway. I have asked to change the room for 4 days but never get responded.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
JoeY Walls: Love missing here.Rooms: Presidential Suite need I say more.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More

Laurie O'Brien: What a beautiful boutique hotel. While the hotel is clean and simple, the attention to detail is incredible providing a luxurious experience. There was thought into every thing the hotel offered. To the flow of the space, the decor, the lighting, the bedding, the products, everything was done with intention. We had an incredible stay and loved the turnkey approach. It was clean, well stocked and a pure delight to stay there. Highly recommend to anyone coming through Raleigh or even a staycation for those who live there!Thank you for a memorable stay.

Blakely Garrity: My partner and I live in Raleigh but stayed here for a special weekend. The location is accessible to Dix Park, downtown restaurants and bars, food Hall, Chavis Park. The details of the space are impressive and we were welcomed with a thoughtful card.As two people who are from this area we love to see a local business doing so well and hope that it continues to thrive. If visiting Raleigh or looking for a “staycation” we definitely recommend Guest House!

Shayna Murphy: Can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We did a short staycation from Durham for our anniversary. The room was immaculate, almost wanted to cancel our plans to stay in. We were within a few blocks of our favorite restaurant and it was so easy to walk over and enjoy the great food in downtown. Amenities were great and although we didn’t need much, with how communicative the team was I’m sure we would have been well taken care of if anything came up. We will absolutely be back!
Lori Resnick: Our stay at the guest house was fabulous. It’s super clean, beautifully and simply decorated. The location, in a residential neighborhood right near the heart of the city was convenient. I enjoyed the beautiful linen sheets and luxurious shower with toiletries along with simple breakfast offerings of yogurt, granola, coffee and fruitRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ron Ruffner: What a wonderful place to stay in Raleigh. The only problem...we only stayed one night. We will definitely stay again. The house is well-appointed and comfortable. We loved the place!!! Of note, if you buy the little ghosts (we bought 2), which are awesome, pack them in your checked luggage. Airport security didn't like them, LOL. Great place, look no further for a place to stay in Raleigh.
Richard Lamb: Helpful, generous and knowledgeable staff. Great location for walking to the visitor center, downtown library, art gallery and many restaurants. Great fireworks show for New Years. Less than two minute walk to a food court with live weekend music at the Transfer Company. I even took an art lesson from artist Barb Cherry at Art Space, an art gallery five minutes from The Guest House.
Zakary Hartford: My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it. The space is beautiful. It is evident that a lot of care and thought went into the design, appliances, and furniture in the beautiful space. The bed was really comfy and the whole place was spotless. They provide yogurt, fruit, and granola for breakfast and there are drinks and snacks available for purchase. The location is perfect and there are a ton of great coffee shops, restaurants, and attractions within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here next time we come to Raleigh, we loved it!

Yasmeen Moshiri: Everything about this house was charming and thoughtfully done. The service was exceptional and we were so appreciative of the extra care and attention to detail for our needs. It was a great location which made walking around Raleigh easy, and the recommendations were spot-on for places to eat and things to do. Already working on incorporating some of their design elements into my home! Cannot recommend enough.

Hyatt House Raleigh North Hills: what do users think?
Brittany Green: Beautiful hotel, great staff, excellent breakfast options! Highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ro Dancer: BEWARE: light sleepers! Sunday night there were garbage trucks (which manager Rosalind acknowledged pass by) at 3 am. The trucks went clamoring on until about 4:30am. These trucks were also heard by 2 other guests I talked to at breakfast. In addition, the walls are very thin - when someone slams door in hallway, it sounds like its in your room. There is a lot of construction going on in the area. I did not hear the trucks the second night. The management team on site did not seem to give a hoot. Actually the young girl at the front desk was downright indifferent, as was the manager Rosalind. I think they have enough turnover to warrant this attitude. I definitely was disappointed by their lack of empathy and customer service. Totally was disappointed. I would not stay here again!
Jackey Hong: Good hotel, not bad service. I wish I could give 4.5 stars but I decided to give a 3-star. Why?1. Bring your eye mask with you. The curtain is NOT black out. See picture2. Noisy flushing bathroom toilet. It is LOUD and really LOUD. By prepared to wake your loved ones and people in the next rooms in middle of the night.3. AC cover falls... huh? Yes, the all 8 screws are loose permanently.
Lekan: Excellent location for couples singles or family. A bit of everything. The service on point . The rooms are clean and well stocked. This will be my go to hotel in the Raleigh area for sure. WiFi and breakfast complimentary and the nice lady at the bar serving drinks in the evening were a plus,Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Dan Kout: The service help was very nice during my lengthy stay. The breakfast was average or less. The shower stalls are good with grab bars, non skid tile and wonderful shower heads. Check the sloppy cauking around the base.Rooms: Nice sized suites and the beds were just right in firmness. Thank you staff for replacing pillows with non down.
Murad Abdel: The location is amazing.. lots to do aroundRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Teej Spence: Great place to stay. Location was a 10/5 beautiful scenery. Everything was great. Room was nice , although shower door was hanging 😂 still nice shower bathroom was clean room was clean. Continental breakfast wasn’t so great but there are a lot of other breakfast spots around the hotel so no big deal. One staff member was a tad rude but it was late we all get a little irritable when it’s late. Had an amazing time I WILL DEFINITELY BOOK AGAIN!!!
Marcus M.: Very friendly staff, clean & affordable!
Adam Fishman: Basic and clean Hyatt located in a very nice park of Raleigh.Nearby activities: Restaurants. Grocery. Bars. Park. All steps awaySafety: SafeWalkability: Perfect locationNoteworthy details: Not sure why it's rated excellent.
Tammy Beaulieu: Scheduled a company summit with Abbie (the hotel event planning manager) and all of our needs were met. She was flexible and amazing to work with. The staff at the front desk was also accommodating and friendly. We had a great week because of the hotel staff.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Scott Swain: Great location
Michelle Johnson: Very polite staff..very clean..very comfortable and quiet..Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet …More
Sid Raj: Room number 621 called as the hair dryer was not working. Got a new one which didn't work either. Called again, no replacement. Called again but 1-hour hold. No response for more than 90 minutes passed. Going to sleep without a hair dryer. And no response. Not expected, felt not welcome here. They can tell us straight to the face that they can't help. Unfortunately, stores around are closed. So can't buy any. Thanks for the awful service. Hoping for rest of the days don't go as worst.
Joel Kronk: I booked this hotel along with my family, but our flight was cancelled. I cancelled my reservation and called to reschedule it for the next weekend. They are still charging me the cancellation fee because I cancelled, when they admitted to me on the phone I wouldn't have been charged if I rescheduled without cancelling. Won't be staying here and the rest of my family won't again either. Awful customer service.
Shadasia Lewis: I love Hyatt brands and this was my first time at a Hyatt House location. I absolutely loved it. With the small kitchen area, it works great for extended stays. The kitchen was stocked with all utensils, pots, and pans. The hotel was nice and clean and in a great location. There were restaurants, grocery stores and nail salons in walking distance to the hotel. I think there is designated parking but I was able to get a spot right in front of the hotel. Checking in was a breeze. Lobby area was inviting. Past Hyatt stays I’ve been asked do I want my bottled waters but wasn’t this time. The breakfast in the morning was decent. Food wasn’t that hot which was surprising because we were the first ones down there. Pretty good selection though and breakfast staff was very friendly. I missed the bar so I wasn’t able to get that. The snack area was convenient for some late night cravings.
Joseph Tan: If not for all the fantastic persons that work there, Hyatt would not be hyatt. Breakfast with Yonette was wonderful. She other staff greeted us warmly. The breakfast buffet was constantly replenished and cleaned. The front desk persons were helpful, kind and friendly to us and our son. We are happy throughout our stay.Business oriented with a strong side of family friendliness. Many restaurants within spitting distance and there's even a Harris & Teeter.Rooms: Rooms are clean with everything you need to cook a solid meal. You can save lots of $$$. The bathroom is large and brightly lighted.Beds and bedding are comfy.Safety: We let our 6 year old run around up and down all over without any worries. Staff are always around and looking.Walkability: Restaurants and everywhere closeby.
