Backyard Leisure: Hot Tubs and Pools: what do users think?
Lois Barnhart: Super knowledgeable and helpful.
Terri Alexander: The staff was very patient and helpful
Wilbert Fletcher: Always a wonderful experience shopping in-store! Staff (especially Liz) is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about pool management. Highly recommend for all pool owners in the RDU area.
Lynne Liptak: Aaron was so helpful in helping me find exactly what I needed for the hot tub we bought here a few years ago! Great personal service!
Charles Johnson: Everyone there is very helpful. They understand my problem and fixed it. Good people.
curley souza: The employees at this store were very helpful and polite. I was having a water problem and for everything I tried I just couldn’t get it right. They took the time and patience to work with me until the problem was resolved. Thank you Backyard Leisure
Ellen Pollina: We were looking for a pool for our backyard and after calling every store that services our area, we decided to go with Backyard Leisure. They had the best prices and the staff was amazing and friendly. We were told that it would take 4-6 weeks for thr install, and it turned out to be only two. We are very pleased and would highly recommend!
Ron Bailey: The new management and team at Backyard Leisure was extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable and experienced with helping me with my water testing, purchasing supplies for hot tub and directing to a great company to assist me with repairs in the future. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was informed on the proper steps and procedures for caring for my tub. I would recommend to my family and friends to use Backyard Leisure for any pool and hot tub purchases or supplies as well as help with maintaining the equipment. Extremely pleased with their CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Justin Libecap: Like any major home project there are going to be hiccups and roadblocks. Throw COVID on top of that and things can get challenging. Although our project didn’t go as smoothly as one would hope, what matters is that Aaron and team made it right every time. Pricing was clear up front for what you are getting in a pool package. Alberto and the install crew was fantastic and communicated very well everyday with where they were and what was left to do.
Stephanie Bissette: I'm glad we chose Backyard Leisure to build our pool. Our sales rep, Aaron, was instrumental in keeping us updated and informed throughout all the steps of the process. I researched many pool builders before choosing Backyard Leisure. We are totally thrilled with our new pool!
Madison Lardon: My experience with backyard leisure was satisfactory to say the least. Their delivery was on time, along with installation. They provided impeccable communication and really made it feel like they genuinely cared about me as a customer and weren't just after the next penny. I recommended this company to my friend who was impressed by their work so now he's on his way to getting a 24' pool!
Kim Biggs: I would highly recommend anyone looking for a hot tub for their home to contact Ryan Smith at Backyard Leisure - Raleigh, NC. My husband and I went to several locations looking at hot tubs and Ryan was the most knowledgeable of all the salesman that we talked too and he answered all of our questions. Delivery was as promised. Since our purchase we have purchased filters and Frog-ease floating systems to keep the water clean. We love our HydroPool Hot Tub and we use it daily.Kim - Bracey, VA
Ricardo: Recently just purchased my hot tub. Ryan was excellent through out the entire process!!!
Shannon Jarnagin: Editing review post installation:We had a complicated experience with Backyard Leisure. Regarding the shopping/purchase experience, Dave was extremely helpful in-store and was responsive following up when we had questions prior to making a purchase decision. He didn’t try to sell us the most expensive thing, and instead was focused on what features each spa had and what would work for us. We were between Backyard Leisure and another retailer, but ultimately decided to go with Backyard Leisure based on the experience with Dave.We paid for our hot tub at the end of August 2022 in-full due to a Labor Day sale and cash discount that made the spa much more attractive price-wise. The expectation was that delivery would take longer than normal. They initially told us they were backed up with supply chain issues (understandable) and the installation probably wouldn't happen until the end of December. We received no follow up after the point of purchase (fully paid) and only received updates when we began to call once every week or two around January/February of 2023.Every time we got the same run-around "your hot tub is on the next truck, we've received a shipping notification, you should receive a call for installation in the next week." Every week we would receive no follow-up and when we would call to get more information, we received the same story. According to one of our calls, the hot tub was ready at least by late February 2023 and waiting for pickup at the manufacturer, but it may have been ready even before that. We only found out when one of the associates called the manufacturer to confirm which was initiated by us hounding them. Apparently Backyard Leisure was having issues with their prior trucking company, which they claimed was the larger issue. All other judgement aside on whether or not that’s truly the root cause, the complete lack of proactive communication for several months is the main issue. Also, I find it hard to believe that from February until we finally got our spa, they had 0 deliveries from the manufacturer. We finally received delivery in June of 2023. I was able to work with Julie to get delivery relatively soon after the spa was received by Backyard Leisure. The install team was quick, put the hot tub exactly where we wanted it, and installed the cover. They were courteous and didn’t damage the lawn or any landscaping getting the tub in. You couldn’t even tell they were here, other than a giant hot tub now on our patio. Happy with the setup at our house.I will say, the salespeople we spoke to are very friendly and understanding of our frustration, however it got to be exasperating when we would get a commitment for resolution, only to have the same conversation 2 weeks later. When you spend as much money as Backyard Leisure’s products cost, it is not a far-fetched expectation to want regular updates. Ultimately, the initial sale and final delivery/install were good experiences, but the months in-between of inaction and mis-information were the issue.--------------Review pre-installation-------------We paid for our hot tub at the end of August 2022 and still haven't received our shipment. They initially told us they were backed up with supply chain issues (understandable) and the installation probably wouldn't happen till the end of December. We received no follow up since the point of purchase (fully paid) and have only received updates when we call once a week.Every time it's the same thing, "your hot tub is on the next truck, we've received a DN, you should receive a call for installation in the next week." Every week we receive no follow up and when we call to get more information we get the same thing said back from us.I will say, the sales people we speak to are very friendly and understanding of our frustration, however at this point I feel as though we've been scammed.
Lynn Jones: I recently went to Backyard Leisure looking for a pool. The customers service was absolutely amazing everyone was helpful and very knowledgeable with the questions I had. I ended up closing the deal with Wesley he was very respectful and went above and beyond to answer all the questions or concerns I had, he even worked with me on the pricing. I will be back for a hot tub ASAP. Thank you Backyard Leisure this summer is gonna be great bc of you guys!
Anthony koscica: We’ve been using backyard leisure for all of our pool needs for the last eight years, they are extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly, I highly recommend them for all of your pool needs….Tony
jonathan lamm: Never buy a pool from these people. I paid in full then waited 7 months before they finally installed. Still over a year later haven’t received the steps I purchased. They don’t return calls nor do they show up when they say they will. Bunch of crooks!!!
Gail Hall: I purchased my pool from Backyard Leisure 10 years ago and never had any problems with it. I have always had excellent customer service whenever I needed new chemicals. The staff has always been extremely helpful and always friendly. My commute is about an hour one way but so worth it for the service they provide. Give them a chance to show you the very best customer service ever!
zahid mahmood: We bought the pool from this location in 2016 and we have always bought the rest of their pool supplies from installation till today and they are very professional, and helpful whenever it came to buying the pool supplies. They’re very friendly employees and if anyone wants a nice jacuzzi or pool from them, I would recommend them.
Sandra Jones: They are very knowledgeable of all their products. Very friendly, very customer oriented. Been shopping at this store since we got a pool and we love it and a friendly, outgoing, customer service
Mary Beth Jones: My husband and I have purchased first a hot tub and then an above ground pool from this Raleigh, NC location. The people working here are absolutely wonderful. They make you feel like part of their family, they remember you, are always polite, helpful and fun. They are not pushy, but informative. When we decided to purchase a pool, we knew we would not go anywhere else. When issues arise, they take care of them right away. I would HIGHLY recommend checking out this location, I think you will find it will offer all you need and more.

Atlantic Spas and Billiards: what do users think?
Drew Apple: Great selection of darts stuff. Quinn was helpful. Great!
David Mize: For near two months I've tried to get Atantic Spa to respond to my leaking Saratoga Spa, that I bought in October 2022. Their tech identified the leak, left and i have not heard back. I've have left multiple VM's without a response or action. I'm sure if I called to buy something, they'd be all over it. Please fix or replace my spa.
Neal Curry: I haven't made a purchase there yet but im planning on buying my spa from them this fall. Great company 👌
carla: Absolutely beautiful showroom and great customer service.
Danielle M: We visited every hot tub store in the area and the customer service at this store exceeded them all! I called Jack on the phone and when we went into the store he had all of our information on his computer. He was very helpful from the purchase process all the way through delivery. He asked questions and he listened when we told him what we were looking for. I'm so glad that we decided to purchase our hot tub here. The customer service really made the difference!
Debra Gooch: The hot tub is great. We've had it 5 years. Our cover is deteriorating and allowing water to leak in the tub. My husband called and ordered the cover (we thought) and was told it would be six to eight weeks but he would check to see if there was one in the warehouse. We called this week to check on the cover b/c it's been 5 weeks. We were told by the same salesman that he is going to order the cover now since he couldn't find one. We will have it in 6-8 weeks! This is absurd! We should already have the cover. I was very disappointed.
Tom Sullivan: Incredibly happy with the service I received from Atlantic Spas and Billiards. I had an equipment warranty issue which was very difficult for several different reasons and involved many different interested parties. ASB spent a LOT of time working through all of it on my behalf and crafted an incredibly fair solution. They really do care about the customer (I can't think of the last time I said that). I'm impressed to the point that I'm trying to figure out what else I can buy from them!
Maxine Senet: I have been a customer of Atlantic Spa and Billiards since 2012. They have been absolutely incredible to work with. From the time I purchased the hot tub, to their exceptional knowledge and help with questions. Their amazing sales, technical and service team have never let me down. They absolutely go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are satisfied. Many thanks for years of support to Kane, Lisa, Dave and the top notch service I’ve always received. Happy holidays to the entire team at Atlantic Spa and billiards😀🎁🎄
Saikrishna Chettiar: Awesome selection of pool table and accessories. Leading suppliers of hot tubs and saunas in the triangle
Umang Patel: After facing initial scheduling issue with a pool table, I rated this place 1 star. However Joe Diaz turned the situation quickly and helped me find an alternate solution which indeed turned out to be a better deal. Joe is awesome!
Steve Hart: We really appreciate the great service we get on our Hot Springs hot tub from Atlantic Spas and Billiards. Anytime we have issues with our hot tub the service is timely, professional and a good value. We love the hot tub we purchased from Atlantic Spa and Billiards, and feel very fortunate that they also provide such great service.
Cathy Stone: Jack has always been excellent to work with regarding our hot tub. The professional advice and kindness is appreciated! We would not go anywhere else. We love the people and the products offered.
Charlie Hughes: Had my spa delivered last Friday and the delivery crew did a fantastic job. They were efficient and made sure to place it exactly where I wanted. They were very professional and on time. Atlantic Spas & Billiards sent out all of the supplies needed to get my spa up and running. I definitely recommend them if you’re in the market for a spa, sauna, billiard table, grill, or accessories. The entire sales and service staff is fantastic and will take care of you!
Bill _: I can only review the ordering process- which went fine. The deposit was processed quickly and efficiently and the receipt was detailed. They even put the receipt in a folder!I have been waiting 60 days for my product but, when I contact Atlantic, they always respond within a day or two. So- good customer service.I truly believe I will get my product some day. I have a tentative date but am not holding my breath. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. They had a nice selection of floor models. That is about all I can say at this point.
A B: Jack provided us with so much information on the different types of spas in a no-pressure atmosphere. Very professional and helpful.
Chris O'Malley: Went in just to look at some darts...WOW. Spent over an hour in there looking at the hot-tubs and pool/poker tables and other nice gaming furniture and equipment. We drove an hour to get there. Super-Friendly staff. Got a nice set of darts. I'll definitely be back.
Dylan Taylor: I purchased a new Hot Springs Highlife Aria Spa from Atlantic last year and it finally arrived after 9 months of waiting. The in-person sales consultation and delivery were great, and they were able to place it exactly where I wanted it with ease. I did have an issue with a change order not being entered into their computer and they made it right, replacing the selections I changed after delivery - better stairs and ozonator instead of salt system. I also had no issue getting them to agree to replace a corner that was cracked at time of delivery, although I'm still waiting on that one. I do wish they gave me some sort of start-up tutorial for the chemistry when it was delivered as well as a run-down of maintenance I have to do - what needs added or cleaned and when to do so, as that's been rather intimidating and tricky to get right for a first time owner, but they have been answering my questions on it when I call in and speak to their sales reps. I'm loving the Aria, it's a very high quality product, and I'd recommend the Hot Springs spas to anyone looking at buying a hot tub.
David Ram: Superior service, great sales teamAll varieties of gaming tables!
Michael Kirschner: Great selection
Angie Caporiccio: We have been waiting for a part since 2/21 with little to no communication about when it might arrive. We have been told to call the manufacturer ourselves as we might get better service calling directly. This a a warrantied item and we should have received by now and should not have been asked to call the manufacturer.
Delvaughn Jackson: Nice

Rising Sun Pools & Spas: what do users think?
Gregg Gaylard: Reliable and knowledgeable service at a fair price (over 14 years)....
Eric Henderson: Always provide excellent service
J J: So incredibly helpful! They have pretty much everything I ever come in for. The staff remembers us, and keeps our pool in tip top shape. We love Rising Sun!
P Jones: Scott and his Rising Sun Pools Team are exceptional skilled people that know the business. If you are attempting a pool or spa I highly recommend them for purchasing and any service. My parents (Mr Gray) @ friends have pools installed/serviced by Scott.Pam & Dwight Jones
David Koskoski: Very knowledgeableDoesn’t push products no pressure sales
Darlene Sekel: Rising Sun Pools had installed and serviced our pool for over 15 years. Tara, Scott and their team were always helpful and made time to answer all of our questions. We also owned the salt system and loved it!
Georgy Malyshev: Recently we had to replace our liner and our experience with Rising Sun Pools was really great. Important to note that they build the right expectations, which in today’s logistics is significant aspect. The job itself was done very professionally. Unfortunately I cannot recall technicians names, I believe one was Caesar but the other name I forgot. Hopefully Tara can fill this gap.Thank you very much for the job well done.
Bob Rodrigues: I highly recommend Rising Sun pools. They did a great job replacing our pool liner and they are also very helpful making sure your pool water quality is the best. They are always happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have.
carol riddle: I started my pool experience with Rising Sun Pools and have been working with them for 10 years. During that time I have used their services for pool openings and closings, replacement of sand filter, pump and electrical panel when struck by lightening. They have always been very responsive and professional. It is best to schedule the pool openings and closings ahead of time but once on the schedule they honor the time frames. The communication is great by text and email so you know when to expect any service people out. I will continue using their services as they complete the job to satisfaction.
Jill Rodak: We love our pool! As first time pool owners we have had lots questions over the past 4 years since they installed and everytime staff have been super helpful and knowledgeable. We have had nothing but great service starting from very first visit to look at our site!
Rick McGivern: We had freeze damage to the pipes for our under-liner water pump system. Mike had folks on site the next day and they did a great job repairing the damage and reconfiguring the total filter system plumbing which eliminated excess elements that created vulnerabilities during freeze conditions. Great job!!
Deborrah Murray: Always a pleasure dealing with RSP"s. Best in the state!
JT O'Brien: Rising Sun Pool & Spas is the best. They installed our pool about 4 years ago and everyone we dealt with was very professional. They did what they said they would do...which is rare in business these days. Highly recommended.
Clint Newsome: Always great service and supplies, water testing is free to help keep my water balanced in my pool.
Robert Palmer: The staff, even now with staff shortages everywhere, is well trained , nice and eager to help solve pool problems. Been using them for 30 years, just love these guys, especially the ones at N. Raleigh
Neal Slohn: Great place to shop. Awesome friendly employees
Kirk Sudheimer: Always courteous, helps out in a pinch, and fairly priced. I've enjoyed being their customer for 20 years.
Erv Thompson: We have been a customer of Rising Sun Pools for more than 30 years. They always have been courteous, friendly, helpful and above all, knowledgeable. For many years, we had few, if any options. Now we do and we continue to stay with the ones who have been our "pool people" for all those years.
sbw properties: Great company to do business with! Reliable with commitment to quality for their work. Lead time sometimes is a problem but it is worth waiting for.
Greg: In addition to our annual opening and closing this year, we got our liner replaced. We made a Saturday appointment and Kaylee was very patient and gave us all available options. I like our new liner better! Recognized the technicians so they must be a good employer too. Thank you RSP.
Victor C: I have used Rising Sun Pools for years. They always do a great job.

Rising Sun Pools & Spas: what do users think?
Vickie Earp: Purchased a pool a couple of years ago. Pool is great. Service is terrible! I’ve been to two locations. They ignored me and my husband at both locations. I would never recommend this business.
Tabitha Woods: Staff is knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Always a great experience when I go.
David Benson: Great staff, they are always helpful, knowledgeable, and usually have everything you need to get your pool up and running and maintained through the summer. I always am well taken care of when I visit.
Ronnie Lumley: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessSarah and Jessy are the very best! They keep you informed about service dates, any issues with pool, quick estimates. Every company should have a Sarah or Jessy!!Service:General repairs maintenance
Mac M: We bought a coast spa and it is the second spa I have bought from rising sun, no one told me I was the first to buy this from them. The Sundance I had from them was great but this coast spas is a piece of …….. the Sundance I could leave for a weeks and no issues but this the filtration sucks and it will not balance the chemicals the 15k I paid for this I should have burned the 15k it a piece of ………
Alex Saas: I purchased a 27' above ground pool package from Rising Sun. This was at the beginning of Covid and my family was moving to the coast. I dealt with Scott who handled the ordering, etc. I explained that we were moving several hours away and asked what kind of support they offered, especially since I would be out of the area. Scott assured me that Rising Suns would stand behind their products, regardless of where they were. So long story short, during installation we ran across 3 issues. 1st, the pool liner did not fit properly, it sagged in several areas and appeared to be due to issues during manufacture. The second issue was that one of the upright covers warped on one side once installed on the upright. This was another manufacturing issue as regardless of which upright it was installed on or if it was swapped 180 degrees, there was a spot where the metal would buckle. And the 3rd was that there was several screws missing for the ladder installation. The liner would be the biggest issue, the upright cover and screws were very minor and could have been easily resolved. I spoke with Scott several times via email and phone. No support was provided other than being referred to their "installer" who told me to just try and hide the issues with the liner... It's been almost a year since my last email to Scott and no reply and no resolution. In my experience, once you purchase something from Rising Suns, you're on your own. We paid a premium price for the pool as it was right at the beginning of Covid and expected a little more from Rising Sun. I know the options are limited in the RTP area, but I would try and take your business elsewhere if at all possible.Service:Above ground pool installation
Adam Haut: They installed my first and only pool and I’m glad I went with them. The purchasing process was very straightforward and understandable. I used them as my general contractor which I’m grateful for given the pandemic related labor and supply shortages. They were very responsive post-install and so far I’ve had zero issues. I belong to several social media pool groups and I can tell you there are major horror stories out there when it comes to installs. A project this major is not the place to go with the lowest bidder and with the pandemic there were many landscapers who magically became pool installers overnight to meet the demand. I’m glad that I chose a company with a proven history of quality workmanship and happy customers. If I could do it all over again I would have gone with a sand filter instead of a cartridge. I highly recommend RSP for your next project.Service:Inground pool installation
Rob Wilson: Steven in the parts area is very knowledgeable and friendly. Best customer service skills I have seen in a long time.
Hadley Farrell: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWe have used Rising Sun Pools for almost 15 years! They are responsive and patient to make sure that all of your needs are met. They always do a great job.Service:Swimming pool equipment maintenance
Kaylee Miller: Service:Swimming pool water analysisPositive:Quality
bill bullard: Great service. Pump maintenance always done quickly and no issues.
Doreen Fairbank: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueRising sun pools and spas is a great place for a new spa! Bought a new elite coast spa and it is the best. This is our second spa purchased from them - the last one provided us with 21 years of enjoyment! The staff is so helpful, especially Nelson! They were patient with our many questions and we could not be happier with our new spaService:Spa hot tub installation
Paul Latorre: Service:General repairs maintenance
Eric Grindley: I have been a weekly maintenance customer for years. But over the last year the service has just gotten worse and worse. The techs don’t do a complete rebuild service or cleaning. Sometimes no one shows at all. For example no one has been out to our house for a month and we are a weekly maintenance account. I am not sure what is going on over there but whoever is running the maintenance service department doesn’t know what they are doing.Services:Cleaning,General repairs maintenance,Swimming pool equipment maintenance,Swimming pool water analysis,Swimming pool equipment repair
Sherri Sargent: Jessy at the Hillsborough Raleigh location was super helpful. She was quick to respond via email and was very helpful and friendly. She found out my salt cell was under warranty and ordered a new one and let me know as soon as it was available to pick up. When I picked it up (they also offered to deliver and install it) everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. Great place! We will be back. Maybe for a spa! 😉Service:Swimming pool salt system repair
Nate Neuman: Bought a house with a pool that was installed by Rising Sun Pools, I have tried to get them to come out to look at the pool, but no response from them is what I get. The previous owner and them must have had a bad experience and the pool must be "Do not go back" list. I even tried the respond to a sales link, got a call from the sales guy, he said he will look into it, and you guessed it, haven't heard from him since!
Mwilson4040: What a great operation. I waited until over 1 year after installation to write a review. Rising Sun has stood behind their product and services. Helped us through issues that they could have said "not our problem". Mike and his team are always helpful, and an operation you can count on to do have your back. Latham the fiberglass manufacturer they use is top notch also. You can not go wrong with Rising Sun. Wait for them to install your pool if you have to.
gary leon: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Responsiveness,Valuegreat company and a lifesaver!!! they completed our pool which was abandoned by spotlight pools of durham... price was right, and they were fair ,and kept their word knowing what we had been through with spotlight pools!Service:General construction
Vashti B: Rising sun has been quick to respond, thorough and friendly in their visits and always available to answer questions to help us better understand caring for our pool and hot tub. We will definitely be continuing to use their services and may take them up on their pool school offer to learn how to care ourselves!
Chase Sizemore: I recently bought a new house and understood the process of closing the pool; however, was unsure the correct process for pulling the handrails and ladder from the concrete and did not want to damage my pool. I hired them under the assumption that they would remove these and cover my pool properly. I was home while they were here and stated that I would appreciate if they let me know if anything was out of whack. Later in the day, I looked out to check on them. They were gone and they laid the cover over the handrail and ladder rather than pulling them. When I asked to pay a reasonable amount for a unprofessional pool closing, I was prompted that a manager would reach out and discuss. They never called until the following month and added a finance charge to my bill. I will not be using them ever again and hope others don't have the same issues with their service.
Anthony Koytek: Rising Sun Pools Installed our inground pool and their entire staff was very professional and pleasant. We are so happy with the results. After a few years we developed a leak in our Liner. They ordered us a new liner and installed it for no charge (under warranty) They also assisted in determining a problem with our retaining wall, working with the concrete contractor that was used to address and fix this problem for no charge. We are very pleased with the results and will continue to do business with them. Our pool looks amazing. If anyone is considering a pool in the Raleigh area, we highly recommend doing business with Rising Sun Pools.Service:Inground pool installation

Spa & Pool Outlet: what do users think?
John Caltavuturo: I am not inclined to leave a review. Your service tech came out and said I needed a new pump and at the end of the day you would be charging me over $700 for a new pump to include the service call and installation. I had the pump checked and it is fine, so I ask what is really wrong with my hot tub and and why are you charging that amount. I purchased my tub from you and continue to purchase my supplies. Is this how you treat your customers
Julia Cajamarca: Anthony came to check a leakage on our swim spa luckily it was nothing major but he was very knowledgeable and was able to fix the problem. Thank you Anthony
Marty Pleasant: Awesome place, job was well done
April Wilson: Pool and Spa Outlet has been our go-to place to purchase and maintain our pool. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a pool or supplies.
Scott Saby: Had a repair that was scheduled and fixed in a short amount of time. Definitely happy with Spa & Pool Outlet services!
tony taylor: No service
Joe Germeroth: Not responsive, don't really seem to care that you spent a large sum of money and get a damaged pool installed and that have it installed by a company that just wants to make excuses as to why the floor of the pool is rough and wrinkled everywhere.... would not recommend 😕
Manuel dls: We really like our swim spa, though we had to wait a long time due to the COVID supply chain issues, it was totally worth the wait. Spa and Pool outlet has been great to us, we had a couple of small issues and they took care of us. I would totally recommend.
Robert Jackowski: Anthony was very informative very polite punctual we had a great meeting with him we feel very confident in working on jacuzzi now
Doug Beechler: Great jog 👍👍👍
Bill Wall: Anthony found the wires were reversed on the pumb motor. When corrected all of the temperature control problems were resolved. We also appreciated he called us to let us know when he was arriving.
Jbeksel: We bought our pool from Spa and Pool. From day one they've been nothing shy of awesome. From pool fun to new parts, we've never had an issue. Very excited that they've opened closer to home.
Vicente Navarro: Too much to share
Taylor Johnson: Courteous service tech who arrived on time and corrected the problem.
ronald czaja: I was able to get an appointment within 8 days of my request. Anthony came on the scheduled day and within an hour had my leaking hot tub problem solved. Three weeks have gone by and my HT is running great.
D K: Tech was prompt and worked hard to resolve the issue we had.
Daniel Bannard: Great, friendly ,knowledgable !Never let me down ! Highly recommend them ! I used another company to find a leak in my hot tub they came over 10 times costing me everytime couldnot find the leak changed everything but it. Had a pump changed it never worked right. S L: Anthony was great! He helped us out immensely during his service visit and resolved all of our issues thoroughly and efficiently. He is very personable and knowledgeable.
David Howansky: Quick, polite, and professional. Answered any questions I had about my hot tub recall and informed me of potential issues with my unit.
Rosie Nolan: Bought a hot tub and cavana from them. Took 7 months to get. We have had issues with the tub since delivery. Can't get any assistance from the store or Marquis. Don't buy from them horrible customer service. Go elsewhere. Mark the manager will not return your calls. Marquis tub representative is horrible won't help at all!
Michael Turner: Great service, very nice technician.

Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle: what do users think?
GK in NC: We are totally thrilled with our Jacuzzi! This is our 3rd hot tub and definitely the best! We researched our options and shopped around when we decided to go with Jacuzzi. We definitely made the right choice. Phoebe took care of everything for us. Phoebe is passionate about her business and products and it shows. Phoebe looks beyond the sale and helps her customers learn to get the most enjoyment from their hot tub. I'd gladly recommend Phoebe and Jacuzzi to everyone
David Baum: Once we decided to make the investment for a new spa, we spent a LOT of time researching. I mean, a LOT a lot! The process was nerve racking and at times frustrating. We tried Jacuzzi a little late in the game, thinking they're too expensive and you're really just paying for the name (kinda like Harley 😆). So when we visited the showroom we really didn't expect it to go any further.Turns out, it was the last brand we tried and the decision was really quite easy after that. First, the tub. Other brands had pluses and minuses. But the 400 Series we sat in truly checked all the boxes: features, appearance, and quality. Loved everything about it right away. And as to JHTotT... I really cannot give enough praise. Phoebe has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Helping us plan, everything from placement to finding an electrician (BTW Alpine Electric is top notch!), to getting the whole thing set up. She's been available and responds right away. We've had our tub now for over 6 months and Phoebe can still be counted on for assistance and advice. We use our Jacuzzi ALL. THE. TIME! Yes, it's a bit more expensive. But when you're going to make an investment like this, we'd prefer to feel confident it's going to last for the long haul. We have that confidence with Phoebe and Jacuzzi. Could NOT be happier!
Lee Dodson: Kudos to Phoebe and the staff at JHT for their help and guidance in procuring a new hot tub cover for my 20-some-year-old Jacuzzi tub! Phoebe guided me through the ordering and measuring needed to get the cover--and kept me posted on its progress. I was able to pick up the cover in the Colfax warehouse where I found more helpful and cheerful people. Many thanks for a job well done!
Chris Smith: Love the customer service Phoebe has provided and the hot tub is amazing as well!
Annette Butler: For those that don't like reading long reviews, here is the short version:Jacuzzi of the Triangle should get 10 STARS! Phoebe is amazing. Great Customer Service, Knows her product, Stands behind the product, cares about her customers and their hot tub experience from initial meeting, delivery, setup and after care. Let me explain. I have search all over looking for the right hot tub. Never have I found anyone like Phoebe. She took the time with me by setting an appointment to come to the showroom where I had her undivided attention. Did not try to sell me, only assisted me in trying to figure out exactly what I needed. Purchase was smooth, tub arrived as promised, came in damaged from transport. I received a call before delivery explaining what happened. They did not wait for me to discover it. They took care of everything, allowed me to keep the damaged one until the new one came in. The damage was only cosmetic. She supplied printed instructions to help with the setup as well as simplified instructions on maintaining the hot tub, called me on the phone, stayed on the phone while I added product to the hot tub. A few days later checked to make sure every thing was ok. She also stopped by my home to check the tub, check the settings, explained by the setting were and should be set a certain way. All I can say is from beginning to end, the customer service never changed. I felt as though I met a friend for life!! Thank you so much Phoebe! In this day and time, you are indeed a rare Jewel!
Larry Caudle: From someone who dreads dealing with salespersons on bigger ticket items, I can say that our purchase experience was an absolute joy. Phoebe took the time to fully understand what we were looking for and educated us along the way as first time Jacuzzi/hot tub owners. The real satisfaction came well after the sale as we had several questions and requests for advice (some not too intelligent) over several months following installation. Phoebe has gone out of her way to promptly respond to us, and in every instance has provided valuable assistance. We actually hope we have another opportunity to purchase again from Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle!
Andrew Magee: Incredibly positive experience. Informative, non-pushy sales approach, wonderful guidance at each step of the process, and ongoing post-sale support. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking at spas.
Dave Wright: Jaccuzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle and Phoebe in particular were highly recommended by a friend. Phoebe spent a lot of time walking us through the options and describing the pros/cons of several models before we selected a Jaccuzi hot tub. She also spent a lot of time helping to coordinate the hot tub installation with our builder. The delivery team was fantastic, negotiatong a difficult slope and tight turn to get the hot tub in place. Since installation, Phoebe replies extremely quickly when I have hot tub questions. Her advice and tips are priceless! I can’t recommend Jaccuzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle more highly.
Papa's Shop: I can honestly say Phoebe and her team are INCREDIBLE and set the bar for customer service. We purchased a jacuzzi tub from Jacuzzi hot tubs of the triangle a few months ago. Phoebe was absolutely awesome at answering all of my questions and helping me to narrow down which tub would work best for us. This is the 2nd tub I have owned (purchased the first one from a different vendor in the triangle area and left it when we sold our house). Phoebe’s customer service blows away the competition! The guys she used to install our tub were not only professional but prompt and super helpful at answering all of my questions as well. I have purchased supplies from their online store and have found quick and accurate delivery and the products (along with Phoebe’s instructions) have kept my tub SPARKLING! We use our tub all the time and it has been so incredible at relieving back and joint pain and has helped to give us restful sleep! I have referred many family and friends to Phoebe’s company and will continue to do so as she is hands down the most knowledgeable and most accessible business owner you will ever encounter!!!! She has outlined a maintenance plan that has made hot tub ownership SIMPLE and stress free!!! Thank you Phoebe!!!!!-Jason H (apex)
Victoria Langer _ Staff - RolesvilleMS: Wonderful job installing our hot tub. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Great customer service.
David Berger: I highly recommend Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle. Phoebe was professional, patient and very knowledgeable on her Jacuzzi products. She came through for us and always made herself available if we had any questions. We love our new hot tub!! Thank you Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle.
Alicia Silla: Searching for a hot tub, while supplies are falling short of demand, could have proved to be a bad experience - as we were finding with all the local suppliers/stores in the area! But, Phoebe at Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle turned our experience around. She promptly scheduled an appointment to meet us at her business in Holly Springs, where she provided appropriate safely measures as we are/were in a pandemic. She is/was very knowledgeable and professional. Never did she try to push anything on us. We picked a hot tub, and from there the delivery, setup and post support was outstanding. She also provided very highly skilled and professional references for contractors who updating our covered porch to handle the extra weight and for the electrical needs. The whole experience felt very ‘boutique-like’. Thank you Phoebe!
Richard Donnelly: We recently purchased a hot tub from Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle. We are very pleased and enjoying our Jacuzzi hot tub. The Jacuzzi hot tub is an excellent tub with many features, however the main reason we are pleased is because of the excellent support we have received from Phoebe and her husband. They are the owners of Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle. From the time we began researching hot tubs to the final delivery and setup, Phoebe was always available to offer suggestions and advice. She is very knowledgeable about hot tubs and has been very responsive to questions I had before and after delivery. She is a great resource and I would strongly recommend if you are looking to purchase a hot tub, you contact Phoebe at Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle.
Jacob Kraut: The customer services provided here by Phoebe and her Husband are second to no company, in any industry. If you are deciding which of the many brands of hot tubs to buy, the level of service here would be the tie-breaker for sure. This is a long over due post as I got mine in Feb this year, thank you both so much for everything!
Christopher Boemermann: Phoebe and the entire team at jacuzzi are outstanding!! When we looked to purchase a hot tub last year we ended up doing appointments both in store and at home with multiple companies/brands. At the end of the day our experience with jacuzzi was hands down the most impressive. Phoebe was knowledgeable about both her brand, but also other brands in a way where she was able to answer questions/share knowledge about the hot tub industry that was extremely helpful but at the same time wasn’t putting down to her competitors. She helped us select the perfect model they provided everything we wanted in a hot tub!! You truely won’t regret reaching out and setting up a wet test ASAP to truly experience why jacuzzi is the best brand in terms of hot tubs.
Sarah Konopko: Our experience was absolutely amazing. Phoebe was fantastic and so helpful throughout the whole process. Everything went exactly to plan and Phoebe even called after our delivery to make sure everything was going well, and to answer any additional questions. I’m SO happy with our spa and the over the top service we received. Thank you!
April Smith: I am a new jacuzzi owner and Phoebe has provided me with exceptional customer service! I am so happy (and relieved) that I purchased my jacuzzi from Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle. I am so appreciative of her time. She continues to answer all my questions and does so with kindness and patience. If you are a potential new owner I highly recommend you at least give Phoebe a call.
Ken Lerner: My first on-line recommendation. A hot tub is a significant purchase and wanting to help people know about a place to purchase they can count on. Our delivery and hot tub itself has been very good. (Then, we kinda expect that) What we didn't expect is Phoebe taking the time to help us start-up our hot tub after delivery. Check in on us to see how we were doing. We then struggled with water care. By then a few months had elapsed, and Phoebe again took time to diagnose our problem, and guide us through how to solve it. Rushed us water care supplies to have for the weekend. Phoebe's (owner) level of service and commitment to her customer is remarkable. (The type of post purchase support and commitment that doesn't exist). We are grateful we purchased our hot tub from Phoebe. She is "the Nordstrom" for hot tubs. And are wanting to share our experience with others to help with a significant purchase..
Sharon Mehaffie: We went to look at the hot tubs at Jacuzzi H.T. of the T. and were impressed with Phoebe's knowledge and experience. We ordered our tub from her and it took a little bit of time (Pandemic/supply chain issues), but Phoebe kept us posted all along the way. She was right on the money as far as the delivery date.We were having problems with chemicals and the water. She came to our house and helped us get it set up and knew exactly what to do. She is professional, kind and SUPER helpful!
Katie Swanson: Phoebe is the most wonderful person. We were building a deck and they worked with us. I was already stressed out because the deck people messed up, Phoebe worked with us and dealt with me and we got it done. 😂. Then since we never owned a Jacuzzi it started to get cloudy, Phoebe has worked with us ever since. One thing I like about this place they have , is that on your order website; she personally puts in the issues that you're having in a blog on your account to help you figure things out. I haven't been to a place that has the time to put special articles in about your issues to learn more.150% recommend this place! They're very good with customer service, on top of helping you figure everything out. I am so glad we went to this place and got an actual jacuzzi brand hot tub, will worth it!Thank you for everything you have done
Matt Olearczyk: We highly recomend Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle. This is our second tub, Jacuzzi has exceeded our expectations. Phoebe's approach to provide detailed & valuable information prior to purchase made the difference. The follow up post delivery is outstanding.

Choice Pool & Spa: what do users think?
Conrad Rensburg: Bought a 12K Four Winds spa from Choice Pool and Spa in 2020. Called them to purchase new pillows for my headrests. Was told they no longer make pillows that fit this type of spa. The newest pillows are too long and I should simply tear the one receptacle out of the pillow and silicone it to the tub!!! NICE ....... you spend 12k on a tub and then get told we no longer have replacement parts for it and they offer no apology and cannot understand why I am unhappy. Probably not a good idea to purchase this brand of spa if they cannot support it.
K Spangler: I just got my swim spa delivered yesterday. I asked more than one time prior to delivery about the start up process and was told that when it is delivered they would send a chemical care package and walk me through the process. I did receive the chemicals; however, no one walked me through the process. Choice told me today that they can not help me because they have customers in the store. I responded, “I am a customer.” Scott referred me to the manufacturer website and to download the 55 page owners manual. I will figure it out on my own, but here is my review. Choice is super nice, wonderful to make a sale, and happy to take your money…but once they get your money, you are on your own! You become old news and the folks shopping become priority to Choice. There are a multitude of places to purchase from. Choice dropped the ball on this one. Do not recommend due to lack of follow through. Thumbs down when I needed them the most!!!
David D.: Everything you need for your pool or spa
LuAnn Polk: We purchased a small plunge pool from them and it looks great, is beautiful and is fun to use. The customer service provided by the company was outstanding. We worked very closely with Scott who provided us with information to hire an electrician and fencing vendor. We used both and are glad that we did. Everyone at Choice Pools was friendly and helpful.
Will Neese: Professionals that know their stuff plus they won't up sell just to roll you over. These guys know what they're doing and will help you out honestly. Will definitely come back for all my needs and potentially spend a ton more money when I'm ready.
Debbie Dart: Very busy place answer all our questions
Lisa Guidry: Purchase spa Sept 2021 received with side panel missing.I accepted the spa anyways as they told me they would order the missing panel. Well 8 months later still no panel . Have been emailing back and forth with all the excuses in the world. Well told I spoke to Mr Lawler who is suppose to be the owner and he has no solution for me except to wait for the piece that is coming from Hungary. When I said I should have never accepted the spa he said no you should not have. Well that was nice to hear, then asked how is this my problem and he replied how is it his? You would think after spending all those funds he would have better customer service. Please be aware to refuse anything that is not fully intact when you order from him! Guess it is now it’s legal action and better business bureau … what a nightmare this has been….
Dawn Brown: Had everything I needed. We bought a hot tub cover a couple years ago too. Just gave them the measurements and they let me know when it was ready.
Jeannie Neurohr: No longer do pool chemical checks . That was the only reason I went and bought supplies there.
Michael Waterman: We had the pleasure of working with Lou on our outdoor kitchen. his attention to detail and project management skills are excellent. We were able to match the stone facing to the existing patio. All of the contractors did a great job. really love the XO grill we purchased with the kitchen.
Michael Mastromarino: Let me start off by saying that working with Johnna was a tremendous plus. We must have talked several time prior to the purchase and after the purchase. She has been the best sales person you could ever want. A few ways to describe her are: professional / she knows her products / helpful / friendly / goes above and beyond the call of duty / teacher - has helped me set up the tub and always takes my calls if I need help / and now a friend. As far as the Wellis spa goes - it is awesome. I purchased the one with lights / sound system / and many jets. I am in the tub every chance I get. We also purchased an XO grill and it gets an A+ rating. Totally recommend this place if you are looking for a hot tub / grill / pool / patio stuff. Thanks Johnna…… Mike Mastro
Gary Lee: Johnna helped us with our first hot tub for our family Christmas gift. She was knowledgeable and explained everything so I could make a informed decision. She answered all my questions after installation fir a smooth transition. I would recommend themWithout hesitation.
Joshua Davis: Awesome service quick solutions
Belle B: I can’t post enough bad things about this place. I recently purchased a swim spa from here and it has been nothing but issues. Please research before you buy is all I can say. I wish I had gone elsewhere for sure. When I purchased my pool from backyard leisure everything was included. Everything. With this spa I had to have someone poor a concrete slab, hire a concrete truck for the concrete, Hire an electrician to wire it, hire a crane to install it. All they did is deliver a 2,000lb spa to my doorstep. The guys they sent to deliver and install it acted like it was the first time they ever did it. The crane guys did more work than them to get it in place. As it was being installed they are harassing me for payment the entire day it was being installed. I mean literally while it was in the air on a crane being put in, they were calling me nonstop. Then when the spa didn’t work as it should I called them and told them what was going on and after two days of them trying to “recreate” the issues in the store model for the two days, they couldn’t and set up an appointment for 5 more days out. Which my spa had to sit there with water filled and no filtration going. Now when you buy something, this expensive especially, you expect someone to come out and show you how it works, at least I did. If that had happened the issue could have been found earlier and avoided most of the issues we were having with it. The “set up” or “installation” as they call it was 3 guys wiping it down and putting fixtures on. Not one of them knew how the spa worked or how we should start it or run it. They gave us a pamphlet from the manufacturer, which was just a basic spa, not even our own type of spa. Which if it was the electrical probably came from the electrician not having the pamphlet for our own specific type of spa. Which leaves me to the big issue. After the repair guy came out the 5 days later and fixed the issue, they claimed it was the electrician that wired it wrong. So then they called me and wanted me to pay a service fee because it was not the spas issue itself or send the bill to the electrician. Which I’m still not convinced of because the spa still shuts off almost immediately after starting it and sometimes randomly and won’t respond to the app installed in it. And I was never told there even could be a service charge if the issue was not with the spa itself. Otherwise I would have went through the warranty or my homeowners insurance to avoid the charge, which there is no service call for either. I’m appalled that a company would treat their customers this way. I would never purchase anything from this company again and wished I hadn’t this time. It’s made it incredibly hard to even enjoy the purchase.
John B: I came here because I needed my pool water tested only to be informed that they discontinued this service starting this season. When the word POOL is in your name I feel that support for POOL owners is part of the deal. I was greeted and the person I spoke to was friendly. The name is... not helpful when you sell at face value grills, and hot tubs. IDK if they sell pools as well. You will have to see for yourself.
Lauren Wood: We recently bought our first hot tub and love it. Johnna has been extremely helpful with all of the questions that come along with being a new hot tub owner.
Mike Garvey: We had a great experience purchasing a Hot tub at choice Pool and spa. After being told that there would be a 6 to 12 month wait at two competitors, due to the pandemic, we came here. Johnna is one of the best sales people I have ever dealt with. She’s very friendly, informative, helpful, patient and honest.. after hours of online research, I wanted to buy a USA made Aspen spa model, which was a new brand for this site. Instead of making a quick sale, she volunteered to have this model set up so I could test it out. I did and I loved it.Delivery was done quickly, for free and efficiently. They were able to maneuver through my 40 inch fence doorway. There was a minor problem with my LED lights and they came out the same day to fix it.We have been in it almost every day since Christmas and have had no problems and we are enjoying it immensely. If you are considering a hard tub or swim spa do yourself a favor and go see Johnna at choice Pool and spa now!
Iwatch Security: Great service and prices and inventory
Randy Johnson: Worst customer service I have ever seen bought an $8000 spa that has never worked properly since day one. called dozens of times to request service to have them send me parts to do repairs myself. they sent me several ozone generators which didn't fix the problem every time I call they apologize that they somehow forgot about me 4 years later still haven't seen a technician yet. Spend your. Money elsewhere they will not live up to the big promises they give to sell a spa.
Gonzalo Fernandez: I struggled as to whether or not to write this review, but here goes. Up until last week, I have been a very happy repeat customer. I bought my first spa from Choice Pool about 17 years ago back when they were next to the babies-r-us in Raleigh, met the owner and had a great experience. We bought our second one when we moved 14 years ago. We've had our spas serviced by them as well. Price, selection, service has always been great. We've even referred neighbors who also bought a spa from them.A month ago, we decided to look at upgrading our spa. Apparently everyone else during this pandemic has had the same thought, as inventory is very scarce. I priced out a spa from a brand they carried, and was quoted $13,500, firm. Ok, great. Having no idea if this was a good price, and I like to be an educated consumer, I called around to a few other dealers who carried the same line and model, and was dismayed when they quoted me a much lower price, anywhere from $9200 to $9600, all with the same cover, chemicals, etc. Same spa model, same extras that came with the deal. When I called Choice Pool and Spa back about 10 days later, I was now quoted over $18,000 for the same spa. So that's double the regular price and a $5000 jump in less than 2 weeks. I confirmed again the price, make and model, thinking I had made a mistake. When I questioned the woman why the price had jumped so much, I was told "With coronavirus, inventory is scarce and you can throw MSRP out the window".And this is why I'm writing this review. Look, I understand times are tight right now, but is fleecing the customer, especially repeat customers, really the best business strategy? I understand a small markup, but $9000 markup on a $9000 spa? That's crazy. It is absolutely their right to charge whatever they want, no argument here. But it is also my right to go somewhere else to make my purchase. In some businesses, like gas stations, this would be illegal. Not sure if the original owner is still involved, or if he has sold out and this is from new management. Anyway, have been very happy with them until now, and sad to have had this happen.

Healing Springs Spa And Cosmetic Clinic: what do users think?
Marissa Berry: I purchased a Groupon for a couple's massage here back in March 2018. When I tried to schedule an appointment, they said they were booked at least 3 months out. So I waited until my husband and I could figure out the best date. Then in June, I happened to check my Groupon account, and my voucher said it was redeemed. I hadn't even scheduled an appointment at this time. Thankfully, I was able to get Groupon's customer service to unredeem it. Based on many of the Google reviews for this place, Healing Springs Spa was just going through and redeeming people's Groupons even if they hadn't visited. Not cool. After that, I was worried we were going to get screwed over so I called again to book an appointment. Again, they were booked for at least 3 months and were about to move to a new location, much further away. Okay, fine, so I booked an appointment for October. As our appointment day approached, I never received any sort of confirmation communications. Meanwhile, a ton of reviews have been posted in recent months regarding issues with Groupons and LivingSocial deals or last-minute cancellations (even cancellations after clients arrived!). I called Healing Springs Spa several times to try to confirm our appointment, and never heard back. Since their new/temporary location is 45 minutes from our house, we didn't want to risk driving all the way out there to get cancelled on. So I called Groupon and explained the situation. It turns out Groupon has since cancelled their deal with this place because Healings Springs was failing to honor the Groupons and has horrendous customer service in general. Thankfully, Groupon gave us a full refund and we decided not to risk the long drive for what would have been a cancelled appointment. We never even got a call about not showing up. We are very disappointed because we were looking forward to the couple's massage, and I am displeased with the lack of communication on behalf of Healing Springs Spa. Based on my experience and a lot of the recent reviews, I would stay far away from this place.
Joseph Lefrancois: Used Groupon to book a couples massage and went to get it done today. The place that it says it’s at is now plastic surgeon. Website says open on sundays, that’s when they book my appointment, showed up, nobody there. Do not do business with them. I repeat do not. Them or Groupon
Anya Painter-Chapman: Total sham. This place texted to cancel an hour and fifteen minutes before my scheduled appointment. They said they would not be honoring Groupons anymore. All of my interactions with this place were very unprofessional.
Andrea Vegan: Today I was very exited about my gift, because my husband wants to celebrate my birthday in this place BUT at the end they called to change all the conditions, first changing a massage for a facial, then changing the location of the service to the point we got so frustrated they made us cancel. Don't book any service with them and please leave a review. This kind of places need to be accountable of their bad service.
Javier Bonilla: Horrible experience! First of all DON'T get a GROUPON with them. You'll be lucky if you can schedule something for the next month. I purchase the Groupon in MAY and was only able to get something schedule until September!!!.Any way, I schedule a couple's romantic massage since May. They told me I was going to get a reminder a week in advance to confirm the appointment. One day before the appointment and nobody had called me to confirm the appointment. I had to call them myself to confirm the date and time. The date of the appointment I get a call 3 hours before the service to tell me that one of the massage therapist would not be able to come so they offered my to have one massage and one facial. Not what I was planning for a romantic couple's sessions but I said OK.5 minutes later I get another call telling me they wanted to confirm the address. I said, "sure I have the address, it is on the groupon", then she said the they could not give me the service at that location due to some construction or something else. After all this trouble I was still willing to go and get the service and then, when I asked for more details about all the changes, the first thing she told me was, "so you want to cancel?" It looked like she wanted me to cancel. I told her I was not happy about the whole communication and she kept insisting I could cancel with Groupon if I wanted.Very disappointed. I should have looked at the bad reviews before buying the groupon.
Melissa Misko Blanton: Buyers beware. Poorly run business. Dishonest business. We had a LivingSocial for a “romantic couples spa day experience”. It was marked ‘redeemed’ in June before we even made an appointment. I immediately called about the mix up and scheduled an appointment. It was difficult to get in touch to schedule the appointment. I spoke with someone at one point who said they would call me back, and never did. Once the appointment was made, I confirmed the location only to be told that the location was closed (had we not asked we would not have shown up at the right place). Upon further questioning, I was told it was only a massage - not the ‘spa day experience’ we purchased. I cancelled the appointment as the location was not convenient and we were not going to receive what was listed on the LivingSocial. I contacted LivingSocial for a refund. Unfortunately, Healing Springs is being dishonest and reporting we used the services. Therefore, no refund from LivingSocial.
Zackary Sipper: Same experience as everyone else. Hard to book an appointment. Ended up finally getting the massage but didn't have other services promised by groupon and it was only a 60 min massage rather than 90 min. To be honest I wish I had gotten a refund instead cause the massage made my back feel worse not better. This place should just stop taking new clients and go out of business already.
mine Allen: I worked here for a brief whileHUGE turnover here with massage therapistsProbably because the owner is like a super paranoid skitz and so are her minions. They really cannot keep anyone
T E: Tl;Dr: great massages but the package we bought was a lie and we were rescheduled 3 times with less than 24 hours notice. The massages were great! But I can't give this any more than 1 star. We purchased the Romantic Couples Spa Day package.Romantic Couples Spa Day Experience with 90-Minute Massage includes:Two 90-minute massagesWhirlpool floating session for two peopleComplimentary foot soakUse of spa robes and slippersAssortment of fruit and wineAccess to spa relaxation roomOur reservation was cancelled and rescheduled 3 times:1st time: we arrived, had a glass of wine, took a bath in what was a small hot tub, not a "whirlpool floating session"... No big deal. So we're naked, ready for our massage, and the manager comes in to cancel with us. They didn't have the message therapists there to give us a massage. They rescheduled and assured us we'd get the full treatment the second time.2nd time: they cancelled the night before our 11AM massage.3rd time: they cancelled our 11AM massage at 9:15am as we were getting ready. They did so over text and informed us we were going to be rescheduled for August. We didn't like this, so we called. They rescheduled us the next day.4th time: we got there and got the massage. There was *nothing* else in the package included. No whirlpool soak, no foot soak, no fruit and wine, no relaxation room.Honestly the entire experience wasnt enjoyable and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I couldn't relax, and that's the point of the massage.
Becca C: I never got the chance to redeem my Groupon for a couples massage experience...... you cancelled our Groupon couples massage experience last minute with a lame lie of an excuse—— after having already pressed "redeem" on our Groupon. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Thank God Groupon didn't let you get away with that and refunded us. Very unprofessional business you run...... and a dishonest one at that! Thanks for trying to ruin our 12th anniversary plans. Thank GOD Massage Heights came through for us. BUYER BEWARE!
Angelica Swiersz: I bought a living social voucher for $179 for this business that I have not used. Somehow it was marked as redeemed in LivingSocial’s system. I called to explain this to LivingSocial that I did not use it and I have called this place of business four times and left messages about this with no return phone call. LivingSocial said they contacted healing Springs and they told them that I did redeem my voucher. This is a complete lie I did not redeem the voucher nor have I been to this business.. Buyer beware as this is beyond fraudulent.
Brittany Moore: While I cannot speak to the facilities or services provided, I cannot believe the poor quality of customer service at this establishment. I had purchased a couples spa package on Groupon 2 months ago. When I just called to schedule it, I was told that they are booked throughout December, & the receptionist then told me that I should request a refund through Groupon (which I reluctantly did, despite actually looking forward to getting the services advertised). The most frustrating thing to me is that they are STILL selling this package on Groupon, yet are turning clients away who already purchased it! This only leads me to believe they are hoping to get money from people who forget to request a refund through Groupon?! In any case, it's exceptionally poor customer service for them to not even attempt to honor a financial agreement. I can only thank Groupon for agreeing to a full refund (instead of a "voucher" for another Groupon service) since this was no fault of my own.
India Evans: As a recent reviewer stated: BUYERS BEWARE.I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage. I called in February (planned WELL in advance) to make an appointment for April 21 at 3 pm. My boyfriend’s birthday is April 20th so I wanted to surprise him. On the morning of April 21st, excited for our couple’s massage, I checked my phone and saw I had a voicemail from the spa stating that my appointment was canceled. I called and asked if we could reschedule and they said the soonest available appointment was not until June. I reluctantly agreed at the time and told myself I would deal with it later. In the days following, I reached out to the spa again, as waiting several additional months was not an option (this was a birthday gift remember). I kindly explained the situation and the owner assured me that she could accommodate us sooner. She told me a certain time that we could come in, and I told her I would call her back to confirm since I would have to coordinate schedules with my boyfriend and make sure he could go. When I called her back (PROMPTLY) she avoided my calls and never reached back out. With this unusual behavior, I decided to call the spa directly and check with the receptionists if the owner had ever booked my appointment as promised. The staff was very confused and said they were fully booked and did not know why the owner would tell me that. The woman I spoke with assured me that she would speak with the owner and reach back out to me once she figured out what was going on.I never received a call back from the receptionist or the owner, so I called the spa again later in the day. Another receptionist spoke with me and also did not understand why the owner was lying to me. I explained that at this point I would just prefer a refund because they clearly could not provide a timely appointment for us. The receptionist said she would have to talk to the owner and get back to me.The following morning I received TEXT MESSAGES from the owner stating that she made an appointment for me that afternoon. The request for a refund was never acknowledged. I reluctantly agreed to the appointment but still had a feeling that the owner was B.S.ing me, so I called the spa again. The same receptionist that I spoke with on the previous day explained that they did not have me booked for an appointment that afternoon. I asked why the owner continues lying to me and why she is texting me personally instead of working out the scheduling with her actual staff. At this point, again, I ask for a refund and she explains that I should go through Groupon’s customer service.Groupon’s process to refund a groupon marked “redeemed” is to contact the establishment to confirm that services were never received, and then they mark it un-redeemed. I spoke with a nice customer service rep at Groupon and he explained that they would reach back out in a couple days with a resolution.Today Groupon emails me: “We have already confirmed with Healing Springs Spa regarding your voucher for "Romantic Couples Spa Day Experience with 90-Minute Massage" that you have already set up an appointment for 06/11/2018 and you will have no issues while redeeming the services.”EVERYONE AT THIS SPA, INCLUDING THE OWNER, KNOWS THAT I WANT A REFUND AND I DO NOT WANT TO COME IN JUNE.IS THIS A JOKE?? I DO NOT WANT AN APPOINTMENT SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER MY ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED AND I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS PLACE ANY MORE. GIVE ME A REFUND. IT IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT. YOU CANNOT FORCE SOMEONE TO BE YOUR CUSTOMER. I JUST WANT A REFUND.
Emily Julius: Buyer Beware. I purchased a Groupon for a couples massage in January. The massage was scheduled for 3/31 at 3 PM. My boyfriend drove all the way from Charlotte for the massage. Upon arrival at the spa, we were informed by the receptionist that the second masseuse was unavailable and that the owner was supposed to have contacted me to reschedule. Extremely disappointing, but I understand that miscommunications happen. I was also informed that I could reach out to Groupon to receive a refund and that the couples massage would be complimentary. The receptionist told me that the owner would be in touch shortly. This all seemed fair. Upon on arriving home, I reached out to Groupon to obtain my refund and was informed that the Groupon had been redeemed on 3/30. I told Groupon this was impossible as our appointment was scheduled for 3/31 and we never received our massage. Groupon informed me that they had contacted the owner who had confirmed that it had been claimed. Again, this is impossible because we never received our massage. It has been three days since the incident and I am yet to hear from the owner. I took it upon myself to call again today and was told, yet again, that the owner would give me a call later today to work out the issue. I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service and the lack of resolution to this problem.
Janet: My partner and I visited yesterday for a massage and facial each and the massage therapist and esthetician that took care of us were so wonderful! I am terrible at remembering names but they were extremely professional, knowledgeable and truly cared about us and our needs. I loved hearing about why they were using certain techniques during their services and it shows how well educated they are and that they cater their services towards each individual specifically. Also, the receptionist was so sweet and kind and overall the staff is amazing! We will definitely be back!
Felix Rodriguez: Everyone needs to come here. Uhhhhh yes that's the spot
Stacy Durrett: I had a horrible time here. My appointments were constantly being rescheduled because the nurse performing ultashape has anothe job on call and would get called in. I paid for a 3 series treatment before moving which was a huge mistake because after assuring me they could get me in for all 3 treatments they did not. It took multiple phone calls to get any refund, and when I finally did it was not for the full amount of my last treatment.
Dia Anderson: I don’t even want to give one star, my appointment has been moved twice last minute because they couldn’t accommodate me. The owner was rude and didn’t even offer me any type of compensation.
Ty Mauldin: This place is amazing!!!! I never felt so relaxed and well treated!Everyone was so kind and spoke with such genuine care. From the spa treatment to the relaxation room and complimentary wine, I was extremely impressed! The therapist (Elsa), owner and staff proved their customer service was beyond anything you can find around Durham or the Triad. I highly recommend a romantic couples days or an elective spa treatment.Thank you everyone at Healing Springs Spa!We will definitely be back!
Kelly N: Monica was extremely knowledgeable. She provided injections and was very caring for my comfort. Thanks
Lisa Wheeler: I purchased a Couples Spa Day Experience with 90-Minute Massage from Groupon to try Healing Springs for the first time. I am surprised I didn’t know about this place sooner as it is in a popular shopping center across from Southpoint Mall. The atmosphere here is amazing, someone has gone out of his or her way to create an upscale, clean, and relaxing environment. The mens/womens locker rooms provide you with an area to change into your robe and slippers and secure your personal belongings. Once changed we sat in the relaxation room flanked with a water feature and a gas fireplace to enjoy a small glass wine and a foot soak. The two ladies taking care of us were Elsie (?spelling) and Samantha were wonderful every step of the way, giving directions and ensuring we wanted for nothing. The whirlpool was great but the water was VERY hot when we tried to get in and had to spend precious time trying to add cold water to it. I did like that, they set it on a timer so I could shut my eyes and not worry about what time it was. Our massages followed but were completed in different rooms. I enjoyed the heated bed but with the hot soak beforehand, I was pretty hot, my husband stated the same thing. The massage was very relaxing and I am positive I slept though half of it. As with all spa experiences things never last long enough. I did take a look at their regular pricing and was kind of shocked at how much a couples massage would be full price. We normally go to Wellville Massage & Healing Arts where their prices are much more reasonable but Healing Springs does have a better atmosphere. My husband and I are spoiled from a spa we visit each year in Mexico but this experience was one of the nicer ones I have had stateside. I would rate them higher if it was not for that fact and we plan to go again to enjoy a deep tissue massage next time.
