Kings: what do users think?
BLIX/ M8N/ NCBM: Good experience, too many stairs lol
Elizabeth Mynes: Went here for a show. Even though it was packed, there is plenty of seating by the walls. Great for people who have trouble standing. The drinks are great and affordable.
Drew Blanks: Amazing service from Skyler! She mentioned rewards and this is the 5th time we’ve been here and she’s the first one to tell us! Will definitely be booking a party here soon and will be requesting her to serve us!
Doctor Quid: Great for heavy music!
Brennan Novak: I love kings. It can get a little packed and busy but it is definitely worth a visit for a good show. We've been to a couple "Great Cover-up" shows and we love the creativity and its for a great cause.
Kevin Carr: My favorite hang out spot 💯
Felipe Melo: God I miss Kings and The Great Cover Up! I hope the venue re-opens again some day. This is part of Raleigh’s heritage
Jordan Denton: Best venue in town!!
Josh Staydon: Fun time with the small group we took. Service was great they made sure we had the best experience for our friends birthday.
John Geary: Best pizza, service, drinks, experience in North Hills. Shoutout to Collin, Jordan, Susan, Will, Kat, Jazzy, Q & crew.(if I forgot anyone I apologize, entire staff is phenomenal)
Daniel S: It's ok, service is ok, food is ok. Kicked out of our bowling lane after 1 hr because that's protocol if there's a waiting list. Not given an option to extend time. Not a great experience after waiting 2 hrs for a lane. Don't think I'll be back.
Elizabeth O'Connor: Love this place! So much fun stuff to do, and the food is way way better than any other place you can bowl at!!!!
Crystal Lefoy: Great night of music. Be warned it is standing room only and won't start on time.
Arieh Samson: Killer sound & staff. This place has soul, edge and is a great zone to discover music.
Julie Stevens: Cool spot. Plan for a cover. Funky vibe. They did seem a bit weird to have three middle aged women in there. But otherwise I thought it was cool. Ha!
Dustin Win: Nice little personal music venue. Careful though, it gets super loud. Earplugs recommended.
Mary Harris: Generous pours!
Trey Richardson: I run a live sound reinforcement and entertainment company, as well as the band DethCadence in Fuquay-Varina. I enjoyed this venue and the employees. They were very hospitable and welcoming. Their communication was on point and fast. We were able to get an event rolling with no problems. The sound engineer there was helpful and paid attention to detail with the bands needs.More venues should be like this in that area. Sadly these guys were the only ones that hold the gold for professionalism. We can’t thank them enough. A load in elevator would be nice but hey, the hard work paid off well. Can’t wait to play there again! Our audience thoroughly enjoyed the place and the bar. Thanks guys much love to you all!
Nicole Paolucci: Usually a really great, eclectic mix of performers. Excellent cat mural (a must have in all bars?). Seating/standing along the perimeter, which is nice for short people, like me. Good beer selection and the sound is usually really good!! Love this place!
Kyle Fisher: Great fairly small venue. I enjoyed the atmosphere and will look for more shows here!
Dillon Myrick: The greatest music venue in the world

The Pour House Music Hall & Record Shop: what do users think?
Luis Z: This venue brings the guns when it comes to quality sound, and more often than not the acts use it to their advantage. This is the quintessential music venue of the region, if you are an audiophile this is the place. Service is strong, beer is cold, good times.
J. Thompson: Private dueling pianos event was fantastic. The pianists were energetic and super talented.
Jennifer Bozeman: Super cool local music venue!Although I’m pretty sure there wasn’t any alcohol in my drink.
KO Beckford: This was popping. It was fun. The families had fun
Norman Rogers: This is a great intimate concert hall. I wish they would improve the top end speakers.
Rob Devinney: Such a great staff and well run venue. They went out of their way to accommodate my son during a show. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Amanda Winslow: Great place to catch some live music. Delicious cocktails and a wide selection.
Tony Wisdom 4 All: Great place for live entertainment when you don't want to dress up. These types of places increase Raleigh's cool factor.
Alex Hall: Best spot in town to see live music. Record store upstairs by day and music venue by night. Cheap drinks and a friendly environment. Always love coming here!
Kathryn Adams: Cozy venue with a nice bar, cool little stage, great atmosphere, and friendly staff!
Melodie Majette: Visited the Pour House to see Inikio! It was a small bar with a stage BUT the way they handled the entering of patrons by double checking tickets and constantly updating while we stood in line was impressive. Once inside, although it was small, I felt comfortable and not clostrophobic! They made sure they didn't overfill the venue. Bartenders were friendly and I enjoyed!
immadiva03: Very limited seating be prepared to stand! Other than that I had a great time
Ahmed Ehab Elsabbagh: Great show and venue! Like to visit there on the weekends. Great staff and affordable drinks.
ralf burkart: Good venue
Danny Sodano: Always a good time
Burl Womack: Great music, not too packed. Bartenders are super professional and attentive.
Jimmy Schmid: “Of Good Nature” great band out of Charlotte has got it going on. Saw them last year and they have really come together as a band.
Aiden Sammons: Good spot
Lisa M: Great shows. As w any music venue drink prices are high & selection is limited.
Michael Kirschner: Fun venue. Great beer selection.
Amanda Underwood: Saw one of our favorite bands here recently, the show was awesome, the venue is on the smaller side but the employees and the crowd were very friendly. The tickets are very reasonably priced.

North Carolina Symphony: what do users think?
Kari Baxter Donovan: The stress of the ridiculous metal detectors and "bag size" and chaotic nonsense about the size of my purse, that they could verify was almost empty destroyed the mood of my family gathering before we even took our seats. What a bunch of nonsense.
Kara Jensen: The venue is great. The musicians played beautifully. The children’s choir was wonderful. I give 2 stars because The Polar Express was not at all as expected. Based on the name and picture presented in the advertising I assumed it would be the wonderfully familiar music from the movie. However, they played only 2 or 3 of those songs and the majority of time was a man singing a summary of the movie. I was left wanting to hear more familiar songs like Hot Chocolate. It was very disappointing!
Melissa Stansbury: The NC Symphony pays a telemarketing company to makes sales calls. The company didn't send my tickets in the promised time frame, did not disclose additional fees, did not return my follow up call and lied about the ticket price. The tickets sold in the "sales offer package" were actually more than the what a person can buy the tickets for online, so essentially, it is a scam to get you to buy tickets at a higher cost. Luckily, I was able to call the symphony box office and get the tickets for what I paid, but I wanted to give a review so other customers will be aware before purchasing with the company! Hopefully the review will also pressure the symphony addresses my concerns.
Nancy Alinovi: If you love classical music how can you not love the NC Symphony? Can't wait to get back!
Tim Kitslaar: Always an amazing experience!
Michael Damien Kelley: Went to buy tickets at the box office to save the 8 dollar online or over the phone processing fee. They were so helpful in finding me great seats. Glad I took the time to go out there.
Mary Ann Loss: Performances are always wonderful. Venue is amazing.
Steven Warren: Sounds great! Fun concert! Cool venue. Gem of NC

Lincoln Theatre: what do users think?
Shanthan Ramaraju: I’ve visited this place for first time and it was very spacious. The event which I went was awesome and would love to host an other event at this location
Elanna Daughtry: Had a good time at my first rave
Mark Scheuerlein: Venue doesn’t lend itself well to a Burlesque show, but the girls were great and we had fun!
Himani Vejandla: Small and cozy, can use some design updates.
Bobby Bratton: Great spot for live shows and very pleasant employees.
Graham Duncan: Intimate venue with wonderful staff
dan smith: A nice little concert hall with an upstairs balcony that gives you a great view of the stage if you can find a space up there. The two times I’ve been to the Lincoln there were plenty of servers, drink lines were short and moved quick. And there’s plenty of bars/restaurants nearby for food/drinks before/after the show.
Erik Roehl: Have been wanting to catch a performance here for some time and finally had an opportunity last night. Saw Joseph Terrell and Chatham County Line and felt inclined to leave a review for anyone who has not been to a show here before. The venue itself was very clean, which surprised me for some reason, and the building seems to be well maintained. The staff here are very professional/friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced for a concert venue (e.g. $10 for a 16oz. can of craft beer, $6 for a PBR). GA tickets get you right up front and the all-ages crowd felt like we were all there together to have a good time. I was worried that I had forgotten my ear plugs standing in the second row, but the sound was great and didn't require them (at least for a bluegrass/folk setup). I'm sure the upcoming Metallica tribute show may have something to say about that. Anyway, HIGHLY RECOMMEND attending any type of performance here. Also, BUY YOUR TICKETS DIRECTLY FROM THE VENUE /WEBSITE as you will save a ton of $!! The first attempt at purchasing tickets took me to a 3rd party and they were charging $52/ticket. I bought 2 tickets all in for under $50 from the Lincoln Theater site directly. Enjoy!
Z H Current: Like the Visulite in Charlotte with a balcony
Michael Cooper: The vibe here is always tight
Stephen Sharrock (Tee): The Lincoln has a unique sound and is the best place in town to see live music. Staple and treasure in downtown Raleigh.
chris page: A close-knit, intimate place that has great bands and unlimited re-entry. Literally the loudest shows ever though... so loud that it's not enjoyable
D. Raper: Good place to catch a live show. Customer service at the door and the bar is great! Drink prices are good also. Not a break the bank kind of entertainment venue!
Cesar Ramirez: Great tribute night !!
John A Giglia: Nice venue but only a few barstools to sit on.
Tom ODwyer: Great place to see a show!Excellent Staff, tyvm!
Player Two: Small venue with great shows! Always a good time here.
Raymond Myburgh: Great small venue for live music. Free parking too!
Chance LeBron: Perfect small venue for catching my favorite independent artists!
Matt Koonts: I love seeing shows at the Lincoln. I always have a great time. I did like it better when the sections in the middle were general admission instead of an upcharge for tickets. Sometimes I don't want to be down in the pit. In the middle elevated sections I can see everything and have a perfect sound mix without being pushed around. Other than that this is a great place with great memories. The Band Of Heathens...great as always!
Eric C: A fantastic venue for concerts!

C.Grace: what do users think?
Deborah Ashway: We love this place!!
Nikisha Patel: This is a fun place for live jazz music. However, please note the live music ends around 12, so please make sure to be there before as the place is open till 2
Stephen Fernandez: Pretty rare music and cocktail experience conveniently located downtown, with knowledgeable and professional staff. They like to be a little upscale, but they'll let you in with your t-shirt if you didn't get the memo. If you arrive late on the weekend and there is a line that's not on them!
Andy Cochran: Highly recommend this jazz/cocktail bar. Owner Catrina keeps the place looking amazing and bartender Shay will greet you with you water and make you an amazing cocktail. Will be back for sure!
Belkys Vargas: La música en vivo estuvo estupenda, buen servicio y precios razonables.
Natasha Gumber: Love the cocktails and live jazz. A hidden gem on glenwood.
rochelle: Awesome drinks paired with great music. I recommend this establishment!
Daniel C. Eckert: Excellent venue, attentive staff, comfortable atmosphere
Vincent Woodard: I think we've found our new jazz spot in Raleigh
jrapal: Awesome spot
Catie Puckett: Went to an “open jam session" on Tuesday and had the best time. The atmosphere was unique and the music was wonderful!!
Mathenge Wambugu: The best of vibes Raleigh has to offer. Jazz, amazing signature cocktails, basement vibes, cozy and quaint. Best representation of a classy jazz night out.
David Marten: This place is fantastic! Want to give 1 start just to keep people away. :)
Luke McGregor: Fantastic decor, ambiance, drinks and music!
Phillip Solano: A refreshing break from all the clubs and bars of Raleigh. Live jazz with really amazing drinks. The staff are always so kind. This is a great place to relax and just soak in the atmosphere. Highly recommended. Sometimes there is a cover charge, so bring some cash.
Elizabeth Campo: I’m not normally one to seek out a jazz club but this place had me swaying and tapping my feet. It was Jazz Jam so it was fun to see all the various musicians come up and just play like they’d been playing together for years. Cool spot with a great vibe and decor, and the drinks were pretty good too!
Paul Denham: Can't beat the drinks, or the musical talent!
Beril Ozay: Really beautiful place with delicious drinks and table service. Can't really go wrong with live jazz in the heart of downtown.
Black Belt Limousines and Sedans LLC: Lovely Atmosphere with great jazz music. A great to take my clients to relax and unwind.
Kaleb Wright: Swanky --dress nicely.
David Hertzberg: Great Place

Night Years: what do users think?
Mikel Tullis: What a unique school, enjoyed our tour
Daedra Kiin: Beware. You will waste both your time and money if you attend this school. I wish I would have listened to the bad reviews I read before attending, but I assumed they were disgruntled students trying to make them lose money. Because that’s what you are to them.. money. And they’ve been pulling fast ones left and right for years. They rank very low on an overall quality scale for a reason. One look at their website should signal alarm bells in your mind. Who slapped that together? And why so.. badly? Wouldn’t you think that a college could make a professional website? Is that not suspicious to you?
leroy arnold: New ideas and Old work ethics makes this Colleage worth seeing. It's an idea Journey worth considering.
Evee Malveaux: The staff the atmosphere the amazement the opportunities the student's work EVERYTHING HERE IS OUTSTANDING
Kimberly Wagner: I graduated from the Animation and Game Design degree in 2016. Do not attend this school. They like to use buzzwords like "pipeline" and "industry standard tools" but none of that was actually taught here.My first interview after college I lost to the person in Professional Services that was supposed to be helping me get hired. They NEVER contacted me after graduation to ask how I was doing, where I was interviewing, help me land interviews--all things promised to me and my parents when I applied and attended.I spent nearly three years, took numerous unpaid opportunities, and spent hundreds of dollars on online courses in order to bridge the gigantic gap between my education and actual industry standard. They can claim it is up to the student to reach that level, but no ACTUAL good college has their students graduate with work ten years behind the industry standard. We were not taught real pipelines, version control, industry standard software like ZBrush and Substance. There was no guidance on salary expectations, what to do AFTER your interview (following up, asking for feedback, etc), and I was blindsided when I was asked to do my first art test--words I had never even heard before.I would not and will not ever recommend this scam of a school to anyone. Look up lists of Animation and Game Dev schools, and this college will not be on any of them.
Kimberley Clark: Good school for creative students.
Flopsea: i Graduated from here and i have had a good time. the teachers were always positive, and knew how to help when you needed it most.
Jacobe King: I'm a film major and so far so good. I have learned so much and I've only been here for a little more than a month. Great staff, and ample opportunity to get hands on experience. Also great collaborating with other art departments on our projects. I only wish I could've been involved with setting the schedules for my classes. Maybe we'll do it together next semester.
Jared Macias: Great school for networking and creating great content.
Deanna Mcdonald: Got to watch my baby graduate from photographery school
Jamie Mickle: Doesn't even deserve a star. This school is all about money. They care nothing about the students and their future. The staff is constantly changing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND that anyone goes to this school. The rules are bent to benefit them. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SCHOOL!!!
Kevin Kolbe: A can't convey how totally cool this college is. It has a music studio, graphics room, production facilities, a theater and the list goes on. If you are interested in pursuing "the arts" this is a place to check out.
Mick Winston: the only reason I made a different account is because once they see who you are at the school and they see that you're not on board with their own planned agenda, they will make it seem as if you are in the wrong. When I first arrived at this school, It seemed like something what fishy when I started seeing the best teachers leaving while the teachers that are corrupt are still here. Don't get me wrong, Not all the teachers are bad for instance, Ms. Thomas and Craig Brandwyne. Ms. Thomas is how I wish all the teachers were at this school, Professional and Motivated to help you.Debra Hooper, To her, STOP SPENDING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON YOUR TRIPS AND CAR NOTE. she literally bought a dog that sniffs out truffles not even here in this country, and can be drifting everywhere except inside the school.Im not trying to banish the school, I just know what I wanted to obtain from my college experience however, they failed horribly..If the "owner" of the school responds back to me like you see in all the other reviews dissing the school then what does that say about their business here? I swear the business side of the school treats us like money instead of potential prospects of the next generation of entertainment professionals.
jayvon harris: I pay all this money for a dorm room that suck and internet don't work
Cindy Nguyen: Been studying at LAC for almost 3 years now, I would say that being able to work hard and get into the animation industry with in such short amount of time is freaking amazing. I get the opportunity work on my passion in life is a very fortunate thing that I get to experience so early. If you are really passionate about Animation and Game Design give LAC a visit.
DaRealKid lou: within the time that i have been a student here i can say that my experience was not a waste. I enjoyed the people that i encountered, and the things that i have learned will last for a long time both educational and physiological.
Kasey Hart: I am honored to be a student at The Living Arts College. Living Arts College provides the education and equipment that will enhance my skills to be work force ready upon completion of my chosen field of study. The faculty and staff go above and beyond to help each student to be confident in their ability to become successful. This school exemplifies the traits of being professional and having the determination to excel to every student that walks in the door, with a smile and an eagerness to help in any way possible.
Bryan Eagle: As a former student who was given the chance to come back and teach at the school I am overjoyed to be here. I love the fact that I can pass on what I learned as a student to other students now as it was done for me. It is rewarding to see students succeed in class, pass their certification tests, and obtain a job in their specific fields.
Endia Lewis: Being an employee here at the Living Arts Institute has been a joy. I am a former student so it has been surreal to be able to come back and pass my knowledge on to future massage therapists.
Heather Arnette: Working for Living Arts College has been an amazing journey. I have been working with the school since 2009. I have seen the school grow in many ways. There have been some bad reviews from bitter ex-employees and some students, but I have had nothing more than a great experience. From my experience, the greatest part has been watching students achieve their goals step by step including working in their field. I have met with many students and heard many stories from students about how they want to change their lives. The best part is when they actually achieve that goal because they worked hard to get it. Living Arts College provides great opportunity for anyone who is willing and ready to achieve their working goals whether it is employees or students!
Gee Taylor: My experience at LAC has been pleasant. Everyone I asked for help or advice has always reached out and if they didn't have the answer I was always guided in the right direction.

Rich The King: Nice amphitheater. Plenty of space. Lawn was nice. Not a bad seat in the house.
