anthony blalock: The best part of my experience was ending it. the pickup was well handled by a gentleman in the store and delivered in a nice bag. The part handled by the staff during processing included repeated miscommunications a lack of communication between staff members and ultimately a full month to replace two watch batteries. And the price was far too high $65 to a jeweler that wasn't even on site. Somewhere in the midwest. How do you cll yourself a jewelry store with emo on staff jeweler. Never again.

I was utterly blown away by my experience from the masculine aesthetics, the selection of watches, pens, and other novelty items, and the well-curated bar. This is a place you’re comfortable hanging out sipping your favorite spirit and perusing to find exactly what you’re looking for. Here’s a tip - ask for Paul. He made the experience immensely better with his knowledge, style, and personable approach. I will most certainly be coming back and encourage everyone in the Triangle to check it out!
Michael Wallace: Went to Bailey’s to support the local choice and have a screw replaced with on my watch. On arrival at the service counter I was ignored by everyone in n the building for 15 minutes. I counted no less than 7 people who walked by and saw me. After a long line built at the service counter I was finally summoned forward. I explained that I had been waiting for quite some time and was offered the excuse that they were busy and short staffed. Thinking to myself of the previously counted people. Also thinking of the words dedication and serve posted behind the counter at two of the service desk. The young lady took my watch and spoke to a couple of people, I was then told it would be approximately $375 and 9 weeks to replace a screw. So count this one up to I tried to support local and, now after a 2 minute hold with Tissot I will be sending my watch directly to them for an estimated 2 week turnaround.

My rings were cleaned while I waited and they looked new when Allen gave them back to me. My Golf charm looked entirely different, it matched my chain and other charms. Awesome!I later returned with my chain and charms to be repaired. Allen looked at the hoop, said what would be done and that it would take a couple of days. The feeling of not wearing my charms was a disconnect to me. I got a call several days later from Allen my chain, hoop and charms were ready. Stephanie Carson: My chain had broken with my skull pendant and I was in search of jewelry repair. My search led me to CMI Jewelry and I couldn’t have been happier. When I called, a young lady answered and confirmed that they indeed did jewlry repair...very nice. When I arrived, I met Mr Allen Little. I must say he is awesome. He took very good care of me and called a couple of days later saying my chain was ready. When I went to pick it up, I was thoroughly impressed! My chain and charms looked brand spanking new!!!! Joy!! I stayed and chit chatted with Allen for a little while before leaving. Me and my Skully left very happy indeed! I would give CMI Jewelry 10 stars if I could!! I came in knowing next to nothing about what I had, and I left having learned a lot and having had a pleasant time doing so.Just, uh... maybe don't schedule your appraisal with Tim. That's what I did - having been told to schedule with him in particular - and he wasn't even there for it! He personally spoke to me on the phone and scheduled this appointment himself, so there's no middleman who could've lost the information. He was practically impossible to reach by phone, so I wasn't really surprised he didn't show up. But like I said, I was well taken care of and I had a nice time. I'm not mad at all, I just hope Tim is okay.
Trutina Maria: One stop shopThis place is wonderful. My husband and I visited several chain stores in search of my wedding ring. He wanted his mothers modest stone added to a band of my desire. I know I looked at over 1000 rings and felt like the only thing I could do was settle. The other stores would not consider placing his mothers stone into their bands thus we believed all hope was lost. That was until 4 months before the wedding a friend insisted that we go by CMI. I saw a very antique looking band that had designs and it was everything I had been dreaming of but could not put into words. My husband asked his dreaded question...Can you place another stone into the band and the Jeweler looked him and said Absolutely! The look of joy and tears in my husbands face...I knew we had found the right place. They sized my finger and sent it to the jewelry maker in Chicago...6 weeks later my ring was made for me...not taken out of a shelf or tried on by anyone else it was made for me. I had not seen his mother stone so when CMI called to say the ring was ready the agent told my husband to cover my eyes. They slid the ring over my hand to ensure the fit and the first time I saw it was on our wedding day. CMI is amazing they created the wedding ring of both my husband and I's dream. Thank you CMI. I am sorry it took us so long to post our gratitude. We love you guys

You are able to walk around the store, try on all the jewelry you love to create a wishlist for you love ones, and enjoy a cocktail while you do it! I found a gorgeous ring that would a little out of budget during their 75% off sale. This item was not marked down that much and I was truly bummed. One of the members of management saw how much I loved that ring and marked it WAAAAAAAY down. To the point where I would be foolish to not purchase. It was a gift for my grandmother. She loves it and I was beyond happy! Oh! I also got a cute little free gift with purchase! There were a couple of dainty silver jewelry options, such as a necklace or little cuff hoops. Scott Riggs: Nightmare to work with, and communication is impossible as mentioned in other reviews. We had 2 consultations (each taking multiple efforts on our end to get a response) followed by radio silence. There is a reason Lauren had to move across country. Preys on inexperienced 1st time buyers.
Jessica Woodham: I want to take a moment to echo all of the positive reviews for Quercus and Lauren Ramirez. My husband and I went to Lauren during the pandemic for our wedding rings. My husband had never worn a ring (this detail is important later). Background, he initially went to a well known jeweler in town and was turned off by the entire experience, and we have more class than to attempt to ruin their business with negative reviews. In complete contrast, Lauren curated an experience for us that was consultative, no pressure, and allowed us the space, time and moments to customize rings to be exactly what we wanted. Lauren went so far as to make models of rings in different sizes and widths for my husband to trial before he made a final decision. I also was able to try a model with my ring before it was set to make sure it was just right. The rings came out PERFECT FOR US. We have since dabbled in bigger box stores with manufactured products only to keep coming back to Lauren for her one of a kind work. I am really disappointed by anything negative people have posted here because I found Lauren to be ethical (down to the sourcing of her stones), realistic about setting expectations on price/budget (she will not show you anything not in line with budget and you are not only paying for quality stones, but her time and beautiful craftsmanship for a one of a kind piece), communication, timing, and acknowledging when it made sense to follow up. I liked my wedding ring so much, Lauren re-did my engagement ring setting to match. I have since purchased several things (including the diamond earrings that are truly for everyday wear). You will never make a wrong decision working and buying any pieces from Lauren, and I can’t wait to add to my Quercus collection!

The process from start to finish with my engagement and wedding rings was great, and Lauren did an amazing job making sure I was a part of the entire process from start to finish. I called multiple times, I even used online site to book for an appointment just to reach Lauren. Luckily she called during the appointment time and she stated she would have her assistant get back to me because we were in the “planning phase” the next day. Never got back to me, never answered any further emails or Instagram. Did not take my second request for virtual appointment. Did not call me or text me back after that.What’s ridiculous my girlfriend reached out as well to use the shop for an engagement ring for me, whole new person and new appointment request. She replied on Instagram, then after multiple emails and voicemails Lauren finally reached back out. Then radio silence again.Bottom line is, she doesn’t follow through.Like the others, it looks like she makes great work. But we wouldnt know for sure…

The two women named Caroline helped me find exactly what I was looking for at a price that fit my budget at that time. From finding the perfect band to picking out a stone - even showing me comparisons of lab and natural diamonds at the same price point - they really helped me realize my fiancee's dream.Since then, we've had to have a couple repair jobs done on the ring, and they've graciously handled it within a day both times, making it look as new as the day I first picked it up. They recently helped us pick out our wedding bands that we just can't wait to wear. They've polished old, crusted rings - while we were waiting! - and made them look like new.Even though we'll be moving to the coast in a few months, I think it's safe to say I'll be making the drive to visit Johnson's Jewelers of Raleigh for any jewelery needs I have in the future. I can't recommend this store enough, even though I try to with all my friends. If you're looking for an engagement ring or other jewelery, I'd be amazed if there's a better place to go in the state. Dan worked very hard for me over the course of several weeks to bring in different diamonds to help me find the perfect one. The entire experience was exceptional, from the friendly service, diamond education, responsiveness, time spent with me and pricing. I found the prices to be as good as anywhere else around, typically better. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you are in the market for an engagement ring go check them out.
