Adolfo Magana: Came across this firm because of the seller’s choice. When I started the closing process it was not possible to reach paralegals over the phone. I will respect them by not mentioning names, but in my case, I’m pretty familiar with real state transactions, I was only asking reasonable questions that were never answered, unfortunately the closing process was very unprofessional and rude from the beginning. No verbal communication from the paralegal. I’m not gonna use them for future R.E. deals, unfortunately my closing fee was paid to an attorney that I didn’t even sit down to go over paperwork with. This kind of remote transactions email everything; are not my way of dealing with legal procedures on real estate transactions, but it’s done and over with thank God.Areas of improvement are:*-Professionalism*-Respectfulness*-Equality*-Customer Service.
Andrea McLeod: Worst closing experience to date! Requested a video closing due to being out of state. That never happened. Attorney stated paperwork- all closing documents- would be overnighted to me- THOSE WERE NEVER RECIEVED! When it finally dawned on attorney that she could email me papers to print off it was 3pm and closing was initially set at 1030, then 1230. No one from this office called me to check in the date of closing, no one seemed concerned. I literally was told to "just sign" the documents that were sent over. NOT HOW A CLOSING WORKS! You are getting paid to do a job-part of the job is to finalize closing with the client. Around 5pm, I was told by Andrew that "he was leaving for the day" and that I could do everything tomorrow! After a lot of back and forth- everything was finalized. I will NOT hire this attorney in the future! No one takes accountability for there and it seems like they are doing the bare minimum and STILL expecting there full closing fee! Never again!

Patricia Reid: Too bad there's no way to give zero stars. Dealing with this firm this time was a nightmare. Don't expect timely or courteous treatment. I sure did not get professionalism from anyone there but their kind and efficient notary public. Avoid added anxiety in closings and choose a lawyer that will actually look out for you.

James Jefferson: All went well, but the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude. As I greeted her when I walked in, she cut me off and asked for my license. No "hello" back or anything. Cold. Same treatment for my wife as she entered a few mins afterwards. Upon returning her license, she threw it on the table, in which the license slid across the table on the floor. She didn't apologize or anything. Just walked away. We were happy to be there closing a deal, but her curt attitude was noted and talked about afterwards.
Tee Taylor: This professional law firm for real estate closing is the place to use. We had many many closing done by Real Estate Attorneys over the years, but this firm is top notch out of all, every department in this firm was helpful the entire time. You have a question about your closing and ask, you will get a honest knowledgeable answer back within an hour.or less, they are in touch with your file as if you are the only client. Don't hesitate to use this firm, you will be very pleased. We closed in 14-days. Thank you all for an excellent job, keep up the good work.
A. Momma: City of Oaks was hired by the buyer of our home. We completed the seller docs and agreed to have city of oaks prepare our closing docs as well for a fee. I called the office as I had a couple of questions. I was told that the attorney did not work in the office, I could email the attorney. I emailed the attorney and asked him to please call me. He replied stating he would call me because he if did our conversation could be construed as legal advice and since I didn't hire him, he would not talk to me on the phone. The only option I was given was email. My husband and I went in to sign our documents. At the closing they sat us at a table that was shoved into a very tight corner and had food crumbs all over it. There were open bags of chips that were pushed aside so we could sign on the dirty table in an open area with no privacy. It was very uncomfortable. As we were going through the documents, we were asked to sign a affidavit that we are US Citizens, my husband is not. This was never asked before this time. The person having us sign walked away from the table and we could here them whispering in the hall. They didn't seem to know what do to. Then they sent over the paralegal with a document we have never seen before and according to her we need to submit to the IRS. When we were confused and told them we have never had to sign anything like this before at any of our other 15 closings, she blurted out "Do you pay taxes?" We replied that we did and that my husband is a permanent resident here with a social. They were so confused by this. My husband and I were both shocked that they had never dealt with a buyer/seller that was a permanent resident. Our closing was scheduled for a Tuesday, were never notified by the closing attorney that the closing had been postponed. When the buyer finally did close, the office could not find the documents we had signed. They also could not remember if we had signed or not. They were able to find our documents however, since there was a delay, there was a delay in the buyers funds and since this attorney's office does not electronically record the deed and they office only sends wires at the end of the day, we were not able to receive our money until the following day. This is a huge deal if you are waiting on your funds for another closing. I see all the good reviews and good for them. Our experience with this office was the worst we have a had with an attorney's office.

Kevin O'Connell: Appeared with my wife at closing at 2 pm. Received a call from our realtor at 7 pm that evening saying we needed to check with our lender because there was an issue with funds being authorized and the deed was not recorded that afternoon. Turns out City of Oaks sent the closing docs to the wrong department at our lender. This initiated City of Oaks to send the closing docs to the correct department at our lender. The following morning we received word from our realtor that the deed had been recorded. Had to follow up with City of Oaks to confirm the deed had been recorded. Also had to request that a copy of the deed as well as our closing docs be sent to us, which they were, by email, not secure. This was the third house we've purchased and third different closing attorney and the first time we did not receive a binder upon finishing our signatures with hard copies of everything. Had to follow up on our own to receive this information. Perhaps they planned to mail these docs to us at a later date, but that was not specified. Sort of at a loss for words, not sure if this is standard practice for City of Oaks to expect buyers to follow up via phone to receive a copy of their closing docs and recorded deed.

I haven't seen any. I tried to contact the owner but she isolates herself from the clients.Well oiled machine? The only thing I see that is well oiled is the billing department.VETERANS BEWARE! Your 20 percent discount means you get the less experienced lawyer.DISABLED VETERANS DOUBLE BEWARE! These people are oblivious to the struggles veterans face due to the fact they have never served amyone except themselves.HAVE MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES --- TRIPLE BEWAREIf you deal with mental health issues management sees you as a liability ---not someone in need of legal assistance. They do not want to practice law. They want to write letters --- their business model appears to be bring in as money as possible with as little effort as possible.When I attempted to communicate with Laurie, she shut down all communications. They stress "thinking outside the box," but they don't because they have taped themselves inside the box. A box with a slit large enough for a debit or credit card. They spent more time explaining the money process than they did the legal aspects of my situation.BUYER BEWARE!I will follow their advise --- just as soon as I want to be evicted from my rental home of 16 years. Kelly Smith: I called Triangle Law and received an immediate response to call their office at my convenience. I spoke with the office manager and was given clear concise information on their policies and procedures. I was given an appointment for a few days later with Aymie who thoroughly went over my case and informed me of my options - the good, bad and ugly. I followed their directives for complying with the 'other' party and their conditions. I fully expected an unfavorable outcome but was pleasantly surprised that it ended in my favor. I do not believe I would have gotten the same result had I chose to go it alone. Triangle Law Group is very meticulous in their research and explain the process in detail. Elaina Powell: I contracted with D&A in February to have an expired registration and FTA in court dismissed. I was told to expect a 6 to 8 week timeline to resolve the issue. Not only did they fail to inform me at all about an issue with payment (delayed all progress for weeks), they epically failed to meet the projected timeline (+several weeks, not including payent issue time loss), there was absolutely no communication about any roadblocks. Eventually, I had to start requesting updates. I have over 30 emails in the same thread of them giving me the run around. I was told over and over again, after a simple request for an update, that they are having difficulty with ecourt, and it was *heavily* implied that they had no policy or instruction about how to proceed in ecourt scenarios for at least a month. This did the *opposite* of inspiring confidence. 2 weeks *after* they claimed they had a meeting w the DA to resolve a plethora of cases including mine, I received a hostile phone call from Dement (JR, i assume) himself because I dared to ask how long after the meeting I could expect to be able to get my license restored and expressed (without vulgarity or personal insult) my displeasure with the lack of communication. To paraphrase, he claimed this lack of communication was standard for the industry. I also called the DA's office that day (16th of May, same day of but before the phone call) and they said that my case had not even been scheduled, though I don't have strong faith that is accurate given the general inconsistencies of dealing with the court system.I *DO* know that the copy of the dimisal I finally got today, after biting the bullet and outright asking for a other update (first since Dement phone call) was submitted/filed etc on the 17th of May, the day after the Dement phone call (16th). I did not receive notice of resolution until today (22nd of May), and I had to outright ask for an update to get a copy of the dismissal. Given that I was (rudely) informed via the Dement phone call that they would update me as soon as it was resolved, I cannot help but feel the 5 day delay in informing me was retaliation for my putting pressure on D&A (again, after their failing to meet the timeline). My only point of contact with D&A prior to the phone call from Dement himself was a paralegal.This whole experience was horrid. I was recommended to D&A by a family member who had associated with them in the past, and had a positive experience. My relative, upon hearing of my experience, hinted strongly that this could be the result of a change in management from Sr to Jr (I will leave the family name in question out of this out of respect to Sr) after Sr's retirement. I highly doubt anyone from my family will use D&A again, given this experience.Edit for spelling
