Elaina Powell: I contracted with D&A in February to have an expired registration and FTA in court dismissed. I was told to expect a 6 to 8 week timeline to resolve the issue. Not only did they fail to inform me at all about an issue with payment (delayed all progress for weeks), they epically failed to meet the projected timeline (+several weeks, not including payent issue time loss), there was absolutely no communication about any roadblocks. Eventually, I had to start requesting updates. I have over 30 emails in the same thread of them giving me the run around. I was told over and over again, after a simple request for an update, that they are having difficulty with ecourt, and it was *heavily* implied that they had no policy or instruction about how to proceed in ecourt scenarios for at least a month. This did the *opposite* of inspiring confidence. 2 weeks *after* they claimed they had a meeting w the DA to resolve a plethora of cases including mine, I received a hostile phone call from Dement (JR, i assume) himself because I dared to ask how long after the meeting I could expect to be able to get my license restored and expressed (without vulgarity or personal insult) my displeasure with the lack of communication. To paraphrase, he claimed this lack of communication was standard for the industry. I also called the DA's office that day (16th of May, same day of but before the phone call) and they said that my case had not even been scheduled, though I don't have strong faith that is accurate given the general inconsistencies of dealing with the court system.I *DO* know that the copy of the dimisal I finally got today, after biting the bullet and outright asking for a other update (first since Dement phone call) was submitted/filed etc on the 17th of May, the day after the Dement phone call (16th). I did not receive notice of resolution until today (22nd of May), and I had to outright ask for an update to get a copy of the dismissal. Given that I was (rudely) informed via the Dement phone call that they would update me as soon as it was resolved, I cannot help but feel the 5 day delay in informing me was retaliation for my putting pressure on D&A (again, after their failing to meet the timeline). My only point of contact with D&A prior to the phone call from Dement himself was a paralegal.This whole experience was horrid. I was recommended to D&A by a family member who had associated with them in the past, and had a positive experience. My relative, upon hearing of my experience, hinted strongly that this could be the result of a change in management from Sr to Jr (I will leave the family name in question out of this out of respect to Sr) after Sr's retirement. I highly doubt anyone from my family will use D&A again, given this experience.Edit for spelling

Jamie Hicks: My daughter and I were in the courthouse in Raleigh trying to close out her car accident case. Jason Calhoun: I would give zero stars if I could.At no point during my whole experience did I feel represented or defended by Moseley or his assistant, Renata. Moseley showed up for court LATE and smelling like a hangover. He got me the worst possible outcome from day one and didn’t even care.On later appearances in court, he didn’t seem to even remember me and did as little as possible. He even lied to me about the expungement and tried to charge me an additional $750 just to file THAT!!You don’t get what you pay for with Moseley Matheson.

Jeanne Marie: My husband contacted the law firm wanting to hire Tina Pace for a few hours to answer our questions pertaining to community association law with the potential of hiring her for more legal action. The receptionist answering the phone forwarded the call to Pace's PA, got her voice mail and he left a message requesting to be contacted about scheduling a meeting. We did not hear anything further so husband called again the next day only to get Pace's PA's voice mail again. He left another voice mail message, also sent an email and also used the law firm's contact form to try to communicate with someone from the firm. It is now a week or ten days later and no contact from anyone associated with the law firm of Hatch Little and Bunn.If HL&B or Tina Frazier Pace could not accept further clients at this time, it would have been a good business practice to do the courteous thing and respond with regrets. This failure to engage with potential new clients at all left us wondering if there would have been a struggle with communication had we hired them. I had an appointment this morning for 10:30am, arrived for my appointment and there is no Lawyer on premise! The lack of respect for another’s time should be taken serious. Otherwise, there’s simply no point in making an appointment. Also, when I arrived at their office I was simply asked if I wanted to reschedule 🤣. I would highly recommend NOT utilizing this company’s services (but, even if you make an appointment, you probably still won’t get to utilize their services )!
Bree Maresca: I trusted Jared Edward Hammett an attorney with Kurtz and Blum law firm with protecting my best interests with my divorce.I patiently waited for months with unanswered questions, no returned communication and motions and filings he outright lied about filing.I have suffered financially and legally for over a year and paid $16,015.22 to his law firm. To date I have not received any communication about his lack of filing my divorce and had to hire a new attorney.

Jon Klinger: I was represented by Kurtz and Blum attorney named Mr. Berry. He met me in court and presented my options given by the DA. He laid out the potential consequences, and pros and cons for each option. He explained his position on the case and I felt encouraged to have a trial. We decided to forego the DA's offers and try the case. During our meetings, Mr. Berry worked to make sure he understood the facts of the case and that I felt "heard." I appreciated his patience and explanations of all questions, we explained things in a way I could understand. In the end, we did not use his legal argument, due to dismissal, so I cannot speak to trial performance, but I was pleased with my experience with Mr. Berry.Otherwise, the law firm staff was helpful, courteous, prompt, and professional.
