Aquatic Management Group, Inc.: what do users think?
roger sharrett: Not for me, complicated cell phone Clock in an Clock out, and verification.
OfficialCrescent: Absolutely terrible experience. The most rude staff with no compassion. They close the pool (that servers 1,000+ residents) for a group of people who don’t even live here. They don’t pay the pool, we the residents pay it, and they get payed to close the pool so they can earn more.
Lora Greco: Would not allow us access to our community pool on Mother’s Day. Would give them zero stars if that was an option.
Aniston S: Aquatic Management Group is such an inviting and supportive environment to work in. The summer is so much more fun when you get to work at the pool with amazing members and a great company to help you learn and gain work experience and skills. They work extremely hard year round to ensure all operations run smoothly and safely during the summer as well as the less busy seasons. AMG prioritizes safety, cleanliness, continuous improvement, and more. I can’t imagine a better working environment!
Hannah Spainhour: I worked for AMG for three seasons as a lifeguard at Greenway Club and pool attendant at Bedford and had so much fun! I only stopped because I went to study abroad over the summer but would definitely recommend to anyone for a fun summer job! My managers were always kind and helpful and the schedule was super flexible. The pools I worked at always were cleaner than my neighborhood pool, so I can definitely spot AMG pools now. Overall, I had a great working experience with AMG! :)
Laura Swanson: Last year our neighborhood pool had to close for the majority of the season due to a lightning strike. AMG was our pool management company. Despite our contract stating refund terms and the VP agreeing to it when signing, AMG did not honor the contract and majorly screwed over our pool in the refund we should have gotten by several thousand dollars(they gave us a small refund but not the entire amount due). I would not recommend using them for pool management.
Jen Jank: Best management group out there! They have been an excellent management group to work with. I would have to rate this a 5-star-review company for many reasons.#1. They are good with keeping their promises, ensuring a wonderful neighborhood pool that is clean, in great conditions, wonderful lifeguards. The lifeguards are amazing (especially at Bedford and Greenway Club). They are professional and nice! Never once had a problem with making sure they were keeping everyone safe. However, one con I do have. When I was a lifeguard many years ago, we were able to have bikini swimsuits for lifeguarding so we wouldn’t get a weird tan line. I've found out that AMG does not have bikini swimsuits for female lifeguard, just one pieces. I do understand that they are trying to be modest, but it is no different than having a male lifeguard with their shirt off.I would LOVE to see AMG introduce two-piece swimsuits this summer season for their female lifeguards. I know how it is to have a weird tan line, especially in the summer time. I have spoken to other members at Bedford and Greenway Club about this and they all agree.
Brandon DeLello: 5/5 job and company! The whole team is helpful, kind, and works hard to make your work experience one to remember.
David Ehinger: Awesome place to work! Great people and a wholesome culture.
Caroline: Best staff , pool management & service in the area ... They also rebuilt our pool which seemed to be an insurmountable project...done on time , under budget & beautiful ....even with a variance required from the town of Cary .
Amy Bonilla: Critical:Professionalism,Quality
Kaine Beedenbender: I have mo idea why this showed up
Kimberly Sanderlin: Limited store front space, but good stock and customer service
Nathaniel Jamal: Not as good as of a company they claim to be.
Emily Crowell: Awesome place to work. Love the other staff.
Melissa Gabriele: I have worked for AMG for the past 5 seasons as a pool manager and will continue to work for them in the future. I have consistently been supported by the office staff to ensure a great pool season for my guards and co-managers. Staff expectations are clear and easily maintained. This company is easy to work for if you are following simple guidelines.
Kathryn MacCormack: I have worked with AMG for two summers now as a manager. The office staff is supportive of the managers and guards when needed. Justus and Greg are always available to managers and guards when we have questions or issues with pool operations. Safety is the number one concern for AMG - for the patrons and their staff!!! This is a company that I have been able to growth with on a personal level.
Paige Pizer: I am very satisfied with my time spent with AMG! I am proud to say I was an employee.
Wulwyn Porte: Great staff
Parker Brough: Although a great first job opportunity, after working for this company for 2 years, this company has had some issues with paint dissolving in the pools for a while now, and may actually be causing one of them to close for a summer. Another issue I had was not being allowed to wear my personal hats on the job, If I am lifeguarding in the sun it should not matter what hat I wear especially because I already represent the company with the shirt and suit. It made me irate when I was told I couldn't wear my patch hat on the job and going out to buy a plain looking hat is just a waste of the miniscule income I earned due to poor scheduling the past 2 summers. I don't have a problem or complain about minimum wage, I have a problem with how poorly I was scheduled. This company has some work to do.
zony224: Treats employees poorly, management is a mess, and does not follow pool safety guide lines in order to stay open.

North Raleigh Red Cross Blood, Platelet and Plasma Donation Center: what do users think?
Pure Romance: I’ve donated blood for about 30 years ( first 27 years in Chicago burbs where there were no problems at all.) and donating at the Red Cross has given me the worst EXPERIENCES ever… not once, twice or three times…. More! I keep hoping it will improve. My husband and I are finding another place to donate.
Steven Murphy: I have always had a positive experience here. Friendly staff and they have never missed.
Samuel Behr.: I have donated platelets at this location many times. It is one of only two centers within 10 miles of me, and I give platelets because of all the emails I get about how few donors give platelets and how critical the need is. Well, based on the number of times I've been turned away for being late, I will be marking all future emails from red cross as junk. I was scheduled for a donation today, tried to make it right as they opened but was just past 15 minutes late and was turned away. There were no other donors in the building. It is not easy to set aside the 3 hours it takes to complete a platelet donation. I have come earlier than my scheduled time in the past at the request of this location to help them finish early. I have also waited more than 20 minutes to begin the process after arriving on time. Maybe blood connection will appreciate my efforts to donate a little more.I emailed customer service like the owner of this Google place requested and got 3 responses, the first a generic sorry, the second a strange take back of the first, the third a rehash of the first with an extra bit. "At times, our staff have to make the difficult decision to ask donors to reschedule or unfortunately turn them away if the drive is less than 15 minutes from closing. We also understand that donors cannot always arrive earlier due to circumstances that may occur."After that, there was an offer to reschedule. Clearly I'm still not being heard. There's a record of the number of donate I've completed, but that is all over now.
Saurabh Deshmukh: The experience was horrible. I had scheduled a plasma appointment at this location. As I got here to check in, on the sheet, the only mention was the plasma appointment but no name in front of it. I tried to explain the supervisor that it could be a system glitch but she was adamant that there was no appointment scheduled. I completely understand the importance of an appointment but I think Red Cross doesn’t understand the concept of “voluntary donation”. I was at the location, but just because there was no name in front of the appointment I couldn’t DONATE and my 40min drive was for nothing. I hope red cross can do better and respect the concept of voluntary donation.PS: for those scheduling here, please make sure to call confirming the appointment details.
Janice Cutler: I wish I could give 0 stars. I have given blood here many times, but I have never been late. Today, I was 10 minutes late due to helping my Mom. I drove there fast as I could, prepared to wait since I was late. There was no one in there giving blood--just staff. The front desk person was immediately rude about my being late, and said they probably couldn't do it since I was late. I offered to come back/reschedule. She continued to try and get me put back into the system, but very annoyed. She was impatient when I was trying to give her what she was asking for and asked me "you've been here before right?", as if why don't you know this? Then she informed me that they already took me out of the system since I was late. She proceeded to try and put me back in, but was extremely annoyed. She then told me to have a seat. Quickly the intake staff member told me to sit in the office. When she came in, she asked me name and I told her that I was late. She immediately shook her head and said "no, we won't be able to do this today". I walked out and told the front desk person I wouldn't be back since they are so rude. I can't believe how I was treated to try to donate blood. I thought there was a desperate need for it. I have filed a complaint with the Red Cross. I really can't go back here and will find someplace else. I am still shocked at the rudeness.
Kate Hurd: Friendly environment and staff. By appointment inlyt
Bethany Hunt: Rude, unprofessional. I was going to be late because of traffic...tried to call couldn’t speak to the actual donation center people to see if it was ok. When I came in, it was my first time... the man treated me with such distain. They sat me down and looked at my arm for LESS than two seconds and said my veins weren’t strong enough for plasma donation ( I’ve given plasma before) and sent me on my way. I drive 50 mins to get to the place to try to do good and they treated me like trash. It makes all of Red Cross look bad 😤
Kevin Scott: I moved to this location after the Blood Connection took over Rex and I now appreciate how organized Rex Blood Services was run. This operation needs to be streamlined. Sitting for 30 minutes before getting screened, with an appointment, is very frustrating. Then the odd thing where I cannot pick my own drink from the refrigerator and there has to be someone giving me a water. It makes you feel like you can't be trusted after I volunteered and walked in to give you a donation.Everyone was friendly and I'll continue to donate with the hopes they pick up their game.
Blake R: Nice staff, good snacks even if they don't have soda, and received an email for a $10 gift card for donating
Natalie Wilson: The staff are always professional!
Matthew Lewis: Give the gift of life.
Chris V: Please give blood every chance you get.I have e been donating at his site for the past 5 years and whime the staff is courteous I have never waited less than half an hour to be checked in and I always have an appointment, so keep that in mind.
Mike Luihn: Friendly staff
Karen Clavette: Great location and hours
Bob Taylor: They have a online appointment process. Do not just stop in, they sometimes will not be able to "work you in". They also have a online questionaire you can do 24 hours before arrival to spend you your appointment. Very good staff - they have been doing this for a long time - some for decades. They go pretty quick. Cookies and drinks for the post giving rest period before you leave.
Jonathan Segal: Good staff + good, solid experience
Rick Buss: Have you donated blood this holiday season?
Theodore Mebane: Since the painting, this place has improved.
Lauren Berry: Efficiently run, very respectful (and respectable!) staff. I go every 8 weeks to this location.
Robert Sanders: Overall a pleasant experience but be sure you have lots of time if doing a platelet donation.
Stasy Smith: Every time

Lake Johnson Pool: what do users think?
Kay Farmer: Great staff. Leeann is great manager!
yoyo yojo: Chida
Michael Johnson: Great pool! Love taking the kid here
3217 Realty: Good
Barbara Witham: A very nice day today for this big pool. There are 2 separate small pools for the little ones. The big pool was big and loud but plenty of room to cool off. 4 lap lanes for swimming laps only.Life jackets provided, changing room, restrooms, showers. Lifeguards are very attentive and try to keep things calm.
Vicki Kerwin: Great place to swim and relaxVery family friendlyGreat lifeguards
Jay Hendrickxs: I've been going there since I was a little kid and I'm so glad I can take my daughter there too. The place is always clean and safe for all little ones of all ages
Mayra Leon-ramirez: Great place !!
Eric Koehler: It’s a fairly basic pool, but well maintained and with plenty of space. The only issue is that all Raleigh pools have limited and unpredictable hours due to staffing, so it’s essential to call before you go.
Crystal Richardson: This is one of my favorite spots to go to with my family, the atmosphere is always nice and we always enjoy ourselves while swimming. We always pack our lunch and use the picnic tables to place our belongings while swimming. I just really enjoy this place a lot...it is a drive for me but I will sacrifice that to have some fun.
M. P.: Awesome. What a great pool. Lap lanes are great. Kids in the other part of the pool are respectful of the lanes. Super shallow kiddie pool is a great place for them to play. Staff is all nice.I wish LJ Pool was open a few more hours each day, but I understand its a staffing issue.
Jose Lopez: es un lugar público muy económico para llevar los niños a divertirse
A Beck: My family loves this pool. $4 for adults and $2 for children. You can swim all day, and they provide vests for free. I've seen families bring pizza and drinks. Good way to enjoy the summer.
BadBoy bullys 1973: Well i can say this pool here is super clean bathrooms don't stink and smell bad they do a great job keeping lake Johnson pool in awesome condition and the water is clean also. Thanks to all the lifeguards for doing what they do.
Ramita Chitrakar: Very nice outdoor pool. Separate pool for little ones and the splash pad also! How awesome is everything together? Plenty of benches for sun bathing also!
ANGELES OLVERA: Exselente👍😁
Antwan Barfield: I love it
Felicia Dawkins: Clean, life guards on staff, kiddie pool, and they offer swimming lessons.
Wendy Brook: Nice pool, good splash pad. Our 4 year old had a great time using all facilities.
Marie McCutchen: Facilities are fine, nothing special. The real issue is the lifeguards and management. Pools have rules for a reason, yet no one enforces any of them. While we were there, there was a large group made up of multiple families that dominated the pool. Despite the pool having a "No Toys" policy, every single one of these kids had a water gun and were aggressively spraying other kids, parents, their stuff. Smacking kids upside the head with water guns. No one stopped them, or said anything. The parents were constantly screaming expletives, getting into fights with other families, and being incredibly disruptive. I saw multiple kids get grabbed by their throats and held underwater, yet the lifeguards "couldn't do anything about it"No one had an enjoyable experience at this pool because no one would remove that one group.
D Manneh: Great place to take the kids and hangout.
