The Edison Lofts Apartments: what do users think?
Jill Castro: I don't usually write reviews but after having the most pleasant interaction with Kathleen at Edison Loft I just knew it had to be done. She was very kind and patient with all the questions I had. She was also very knowledgeable of the RTP area which is very important for a leasing agent to know. The apartments are also beautiful and in a great location. I'm very excited to possibly move to the downtown area of Raleigh. Thanks again Kathleen for all of your help!!
Bee G: Toured with Kathleen and she was amazing. Super personable and thorough! I just started my search, but the Edison Lofts are at the top of my list so far because of her.
Anumita Bajpai: I have been living here for the past two years and could not recommend the place more! The staff is very helpful and easy to talk to (esp. Kathleen Smiley). The building also does a good job putting on events each month. Overall for the price and the location it is worth it!
Katherine Doherty: could not recommend this place enough. maintenance is so fast and helpful and the rest of the staff is great. great location and great apartments!
Sharece Willcoxon: I love living here! My sister and I talk frequently about how much we love this place. It's safe, relatively upscale, clean, and they have all sorts of fun things going on for their residents year-round. I have absolutely no complains; the staff is amazing and their attention to maintenance issues is almost immediate. Love love love it here.
Cecilia Wong: Kathleen was a great tour guide. The gym is stellar
Sarah Moore: I lived here for 15 months and had a great experience! The location is unbeatable - there are always events happening at Moore Square and you're a 25' walk to Glenwood. It's also right above a DGX, which is so insanely convenient. So nice to be able to just run down and grab anything if I had forgotten something in my groceries. It's also above a very cute coffee shop/bar, gelato place, and Domino's. Sosta across the street and Element a few blocks down are both excellent. Lots of really good stuff in close walking distance: restaurants, an express library, pharmacies, etc. You'll probably want to drive to groceries, but you could arguably walk or bus to the Publix nearby. You could feasibly get by without a car if you work downtown. The apartments themselves were pretty nice - I lived in a 1 bedroom that was small, but the space was intelligently used. The finishes are pretty cute and we liked the appliances. The building is relatively quiet - you can hear the typical apartment noises (steps above you if they're heavy, conversations in the hallways if they're loud) but nothing crazy.Amenities were great - valet trash, pool, nice common spaces, package lockers. Sometimes you have to pick up packages in the office when the lockers fill up, but that's pretty easy and they'll usually notify you. They also only let you put your trash bin out from around 6pm-9am, which helps keep the hallways neat and generally keeps people from just leaving their trash outside. Maintenance is also very fast; I've had maintenance requests filled within a few hours of submitting them. The folks in the office are nice and there's always some sort of resident event going on. The pool is fun in the summer - busy enough to meet people but not so busy that you can't find a chair to lay out. My renewal offer was also EXTREMELY reasonable given the current market. Would've happily renewed my lease if I wasn't moving cities.
Elena Note: Living here was one of the most uncomfortable experience in my life, a Latino guy that works in maintenance always was rude to me and my my family every time he needed to get something done in our apartment. The place is awesome, the location and everything. But the staff is horrible for may reasons that I can’t even comment here because is embarrassing. They invite all residents to they’re get together at sir Walter but when you get there the staff say they don’t have any more tickets for the free drinks they’ve already offer to all residents when I noticed all member of the staff and non residents which I suppose are friends/family of the staff drinking and having fun with the drinks that were supposed to be for the residents. I don’t mind paying for my own drink but is very uncomfortable when you ask for tickets and they tell you “we don’t have any more”. I will recommend if you’re looking for apartments in DTR stay way from Edison, until they don’t fix this issue with their workers, for the price that you pay you should have a better service.
Jay Kumar: I have lived in this apartment complex for almost 2 years. The location of the apartment is beyond fantastic. There is almost everything you would need either walking distance or just a few min drive at most. The apartment manager is young, cool and actually cares about her job... and because of that the rest of the office staff is also awesome.Other apartment buildings nearby are great too but the reason I chose Edison Lofts was due to the floor plans/size to cost ratio. I couldn't justify paying similar or more in rent compared to Edison but get a 2x2 closet or a squished apartment etc.Apartment complex managers set the tone for everyone else and because the manager clearly cares so does everyone else. The maintenance team is great... I do not think I have ever waited more than 24 hours from submitting a maintenance request and what I thought was great was they let me change out the basic thermostat to a Nest Thermostat so I could control my apartment temperature from my phone and they installed it for free!!I have always chosen my apartments "virtually" as I am constantly moving cities... now that I have been here for almost 2 years I can confidently say I would pick this same apartment building once again. Great location, great staff that actually cares, package lockers, fast maintenance, great floor plans that aren't cramped and apartment rent that is actually reasonable. You will not be disappointed by choosing to live here!
Lee Siegfried: Great place to live..Friendly staff, clean environment. Great amenities!...Very pet friendly...Highly recommended...
William F: The apartments are really nice, but the staff is horrible, the ladies at the office are very rude and discriminated people because of their accent and looks the elevators do not function properly and have been damaged for more than 6 moths, they charge trash pick up and it’s only five days a week and there is not trash Shute and you have to keep trash in you Apartament for two days and many times they don’t take more than 2 bags. I really wants to live here because this is one of the best location in the area but they need to do something about the staff.
Nora Considine: Out of all of the apartments in all of the states that I have lived in, this one is by far my favorite! All of the amenities are always clean and cared for. The maintenance guys are awesome and everyone in the office is super friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves are beautiful and for such a large building, it's pretty quiet! Neighbors are friendly and respectful. Awesome location downtown near multiple bars, resturants and stores!
bhad bhaby fan: My bestie lives their and I went to her to sleep over and it was awasome
Michael Thorburn: Out of all the appartments I have lived in multiple cities this one is the first I really call home. The staff is friendly and helpful. We did have ONE fire alarm go off because of a faulty detector and was resolved quickly. The other one was real due to someone biting food. Anytime you live in an apartment these things happen but at least we know it all works! I have seen some negative reviews regarding this issue. It’s sad that people complain about these issues so much to try and get something out of it from the company. If you have a problem with street noise or firearms you should probably look at living in a house outside to the city.
Ninad Dike: The location is awesome, right in downtown, near the Plaza, near a bunch of restaurants and offices, and close to Moore Square bus station. Street parking is usually always full, but there is a 24x7 public parking in the RedHat building across the road if you're having guests over. The apartments and facilities are great, plus the rent is pretty reasonable. The staff is very helpful; Kristen in particular is always great to talk to. The move-in and move-out processes were very smooth too.The biggest downside of living here is probably that it sets your standards too high, which I realized after I moved to a different city and started looking for apartments. If I had to nitpick, though, I wish they'd have door stoppers on the apartment doors to make it easier to move furniture/boxes.
Alexi Gruber: Perfect location and our apartment is gorgeous. Staff is helpful and friendly, and the dog park is super convenient. I had reservations about renting instead of buying downtown, but the Edison has been a terrific place to live for us.
Douglas Molfetta: The Edison lofts are a wonderful place to live, especially if you are new to the area like I was. The offer beautiful accommodations and foster a warm community that will make you feel at home.
Jonathan Carnes: I have lived at the Edison Lofts in downtown Raleigh for nearly a year now and I love it. The apartment I live in is beautiful and spacious, the community, pool, and other common areas are always clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff has been kind and helpful whenever we've had interactions. The location is perfect for city living. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to live in Raleigh.
Josephine Prince: Love this building and location. Could not have asked for a better place to live in the downtown area. Management is very pleasant and professional. The only matter that kept me from giving this building a 5 star is that lately I've noticed a trend in broken elevators and access controlled doors. Usually they are fixed in a timely manner, but it can be frustrating because it is happening very frequently and repeatedly. Other than that, I am very satisfied with my decision to move here.
Elizabeth O'Connell: Staff is amazing and the building could not be in a better location! This is the only building I looked at before I moved to Raleigh and I have zero regrets!
Austyn Canada: Modern, beautiful apartments in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Surrounded by tons of great restaurants and shops.

Lofts at North Hills: what do users think?
Bre E: It’s okay. I like the setting of the apartments and unique layout which initially drew me into this place along with the great location. So many things weren’t working upon move-in or falling apart. Door handle came off, kitchen cabinet fell off, found some cockroaches recently despite being a neat freak (I understand it’s a wooded area but ehhhh) I don’t want to deal with that. The carpets are dirty and look like they haven’t been changed in awhile. A smoker definitely used to live in this unit and smelled very musty. I guess take all that into consideration.
Lindsey Howard: I lived here for 2 years and it was amazing, great location with an awesome Property Management team. I even managed to get my security deposit back from cleaning it so well !and this is where my issue began. I had originally chose to buy out of the lease early, and everything went as planned with that - however last minute I did communicate that I may want to just downgrade to a 1 bedroom (instead of the 2 bedroom I was in), and they agreed and everything was ready for me to go and talk to them. Well i did have a change of heart and called them immediately to tell them this.3 months go by and I decide that I want my own apartment again because the situation I was in was not working out. I called, I talked to them numerous times and I got denied !! They were not even willing to hear me out or write a reference letter, nothing at all.i guess loyalty & staying with these guys MEANT NOTHING TO THEM!
Brian York: I have enjoyed living at the Lofts at North Hills. It is a well kept community and very convenient. The property manager Amy cares about her community and is always available to help. I love living here. I recommend anyone looking for a place to live to consider this property.
Malenies Rivera: Nice people great service
Teresa Blunt: I have been a resident of Lofts at North Hills since 2011.What does that say? Love it here! Management and staff are fantastic! It’s a wonderful place to live!
Aparna Korwar: I’ve lived here for several years through multiple management companies and Arlington Properties is by far the best. We love the location and the staff!
Tammy C: I am in the midst of searching for a new residence. I toured these apartments roughly 7 years ago, and like them then. It's only gotten better. Management has changed, and while I enjoyed chatting with the ladies under previous management when I toured, MELLYN IS THE REAL DEAL. Professional, polite, patient, and product knowledgeable. I am very pleased to write this review because I have a good idea (I hope) of the type of service I'll receive, should I make this my place of residence. Arlington did a good thing hiring her or was wise to maintain her in its employ. Thanks, Mellyn for making my choice very difficult.
ana escobar: I love how this property looks and all it's redesigned amenties and floorplans!
Brandon Parrish: I love these apartments! Back when the lease at my old place was ending, The Lofts were the first and only apartments I toured - I immediately fell for the floorplan and neighborhood! The floorplans are really unique and way more spacious than anything else I could find within my budget, and Trish was very helpful and accommodating when it came to making sure we'd get moved in before our old lease was up. I'd seen some horror stories about the previous management, but between the more recent google reviews and a conversation with a neighbor, I felt pretty confident that Arlington wouldn't disappoint - and they haven't!
Lance Carpenter: Living here has been great, they are always willing to make sure everything is up to date & the environment is always so welcoming. Great Customer service and pet friendly. Amy is always right there when I need her. Been here almost 2 years I dealt with some terrible management when I first got here. Then Arlington took over and things improved for the better
Adam Greifinger: I am beyond impressed with the professionalism, punctuality, courtesy, and passion of the leasing office at The Lofts at NH.I am in the process of a cross-country move from Southern California to Raleigh and the one thing I haven’t had to worry about is housing thanks to Amy and Trish.Specifically, Amy the Leasing Manager has gone above and beyond her duties to provide us with a sense of comfort in what would typically be a very stressful transition for most. Her dedication and tremendous work ethic should be recognized, especially in a time where we as people are seeming so divided.I haven’t even moved yet and I am ecstatic about becoming apart of this community and it is solely because of the amazing team at this complex.
Naomi Cashwell: Amy has been amazing with the process of getting our new home! Very excited for the changes that are coming to the lofts!
Patrick Thornberg: the one bedroom lofts are really cool and spacious. great apartment complex for pets as well as there are lots of neighborhoods with sidewalks and Shelly lake is right down the road.
hemp forest: Don't waste your Money in this place the manager last name Martinez make me wait for 3 weeks she ask me for so many papers i give her everything she was rude and rasistaNot profesional
taylor pasciuta: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueNew management is amazing. So helpful and they actually care! Was going to move out when my lease is up, but we are staying, every issue that was caused/ignored by the last owners are now resolved.
Steph Varela: Wow, is all I really want to say! I’m absolutely loving the new management ( Arlington Properties) here at the Loft of North Hills. I’ve been here for two years dealing with the numerous “managers” that have come through this complex and let me tell you I couldn’t wait for my lease to be up. I was ready to LEAVEEEE.When I went into the office to speak the “ new managers “ I quité literally couldn’t be any more shocked. The communication, the care, the desire to help the residents truly enjoy their space- that’s what I received from this new staff.I was so happy with the way they announced themselves, the immediate and awesome changes that’s are happening, and those that are coming! It was literally enough to get me to give these ladies a shot! So not only am I renewing- I’m upgrading to a larger unit ( with their awesome assistance). If you’re looking for a place def come check this one out!
Elizabeth Slack: I have lived here over two years and over the course of that two years, I have experienced frequent unprofessionalism, very poor management and unresponsive maintenance. I was planning not to renew my lease until - Arlington took over. Understandably, I had very low expectations since this property changed management several times and they all claimed to be”different” and “we care about our tenants” but Amy (the new manager) put action behind her words. I told her every horror story (and she let me vent with patience not exasperation) including the most recent issue where I had an electrical outage in several rooms and/or halls in the unit FOR SEVERAL WEEKS and no one helped. Promises were made but I was still sitting there with no lighting and ignored emails. Well, Amy was horrified - she couldn’t believe it and, even though she was not responsible, apologized sincerely. She not only had someone out here immediately but she responded to my DOZENS of emails immediately (including when she was off and the office was closed!) I was NOT USED TO THAT!! Also, on a totally separate repair, she, knowing that I wanted to be in the unit for maintenance but couldn’t leave work for more than an hour or so, she went out of her way to message me when the repairman arrived so that I didn’t miss too much work! That level of accommodation, “above and beyond” attitude, and KINDESS is not something I have not experienced with any management company, anywhere. That said, I will not be going anywhere anytime soon. I have every faith that this time REALLY will be different…it already has been!
Ashley McSwain: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessI have been a resident for over two years,so I have seen this place grow. The new management company Arlington Properties is ver impressive and changes are happening at an expedited rate. I enjoy my 2 br 1.5 bath it is so spacious and really feels like a townhome. The location can’t get any better!
keena porterfield: 7-8 different management companies in 4 years! No one actually cares how the tenants are living.
Katrice Moore: Critical:Professionalism,Quality
Brandon Mays: First things first if you do not want to read much I recommend not living here, trust me. I was excited at first to move into a place that offers housing for less than $1400 a month, but soon after moving in I realized why. Several issues were found immediately after moving in. Doors unable to lock (still unfixed). Gutters hanging off house (now on ground, untouched). Deck not up to code (fixed after 8 weeks). Refrigerator shelves missing. (Still not fixed after 4 months) Dishwasher falls out of cabinet (unfixed for 6 weeks). Each employee fails to communicate to the next and none of our issues are fixed timely. Lastly, the pool. We were enticed to have a 8.5ft pool, but management failed to get ahead and the pool was not open until July! Now it has reopened again but is only open during office hours so they can "clean" the pool daily. However, the pool is full of bugs, leaves, trash and is filthy. Please live somewhere else. Photos do not show the filth well, just come out and check it.Update: Three weeks later and our dishwasher is finally fixed, and replacement glass has come for the fridge, but it gets worse still! We put in a work order last Sunday, (9 days ago) because our inside unit was leaking water. By the time someone was able to check our floors were soaked and we now cannot use one of our bedrooms because an extractor has taken up the carpet to let it dry. However, the leak is still going on day 9! I had to plead to get a bucket just to try and contain the water! The next day I was told maintenance would check to see how much had leaked. By the time I checked the following morning, the bucket was over flowing. We are now having to use our own trashcan and dump the water out from the 10 gallon bucket we received ourselves! This is a daily task that takes time and hopefully I can be paid at the hourly rate of my maintenance work. Day 9 and still no word on when our HVAC will be replaced! If I don't dump the water, I know no one else will and our apt will continue to flood! Why am I having to do maintenance work on property that I rent?! Why should I pay for a 2 bedroom apartment if I can only use one room? DO NOT MOVE HERE! 0 STARS!!!! Our gutter is still on the ground with no hope of even asking for something else knowing we can't get our leak fixed!

The Lofts at Strickland Glen: what do users think?
Tammy Belcher: I've lived here since 2011 having lived both downstairs in a two bedroom and upstairs in a 3 bedroom loft. I like the landscaping, and the maintenance staff is fantastic. The size of the loft apartment is great and balcony sizes are very spacious. Parking is horrible and they don't tow often enough like they used to. After 6 pm it's already packed and hard to find a place near your apartment. I like it here for the most part except you can hear everything through the walls . We are often miserable from the noise from the neighbors children and I am often forced to sleep with earphones in as I can hear constant banging and running. As much as I love the staircase it's like giant tuning fork that reverberates sound. Downstairs living is the worst for noise but it's also unbelievable how much you can hear from an apartment underneath that comes up the entry stairway all the way into the living area of the upstairs apartment. The floors creek when people walk overhead and when they took the carpet out of living and dining areas it made the noise ten times worse. Rent is raised every year with no upgrades to anything. Sound proofing updates in existing apartments would make living here the best. I like the convenience of being close to stores and restaurants. I don't have kids but there is no place for kids to play here. They are often playing in the parking areas which is dangerous but also when they are kicking balls around they are often hitting the parked cars so there is a risk to your vehicle being damaged.
Laina: This property is one of the best ones in the Raleigh area! Its great location, beautiful landscaping and my apartment is very spacious. I have enjoyed living here for several years and do not plan to leave anytime soon. The office team is very helpful, friendly and keeps up the property very well. As for the parking, as long as you follow the rules, you will have no problems.
Heather Lusiak: The community is beautiful. Britni and Annmarie are so helpful and the lofts are such a unique feature. It's clean, and I feel safe which is important as a single woman. hard not to fall in love with this place!
Sandra Boykin: AnnMarie and Britni are a pleasure to work with. They contact my neice periodically for her August move in needs. Good service service is appreciated. Thank you!
Celeste Rowell: I have lived at The Lofts at Strickland Glen for several years now. I have been very pleased with my experience here. The staff and maintenance have been very responsive when I have had any issues.
Alexandra King: Britni Pearse and Annmarie Mullis were very rude and unprofessional. I have lived here for 3 years and had at least 2 other office managers without any problems, until these two arrived. I do not feel valued and it is clear they do not care about the needs, concerns, or issues of loyal tenants. If they are still working here, I would advise that you do not come to live here.If these two are replaced, then it would be a much more stable, sufficient, and safe place to live.
Gregory Brockington: This community changes the parking rules everyday other month. They say they have clear guide lines on visitor parking then choose one or two people to enforce it on. The apartments are over priced and outdated even in the renovated spaces. Would give zero stars if possible.
Maurice Givens: This place is awful since Megan left. My fiancé and baby girl live there. And not only is there consistent problems with water, plumbing and insulation, they have 5 visitors parking spaces for the whole complex and they start towing at 6pm. Unlimited Recovery will also go thru your car and when you call they don’t tell you anything. Lofts at Strickland Glen is far too overpriced for the amenities and things included in your rent. Maintenance is mediocre to say the least. So if you are able, I would definitely say to look elsewhere when it comes to the renting here. I will be moving my family out of there the moment the lease is up.PS. There are bug issues in the warmer months as well.
Creig Neal: In a recent work visit to this property I was working for a client. I parked at the property which was gated and allowed to come in and park per access of the client. Within an hour at the client's house to go in to assist with service and upon coming out my car was towed. Note the property has visitors and it was a several vehicles that did not have permits or etc. However my car was not illegally parked, it was stated that they patrol the gated community and yet out of all the other vehicles that was unmarked, no permit or etc my car was towed. Unfortunately if there is a matter like this at the complex and it should have reserved parking and or this property should advise better. Random people can just call and have your car towed.
Tiffany Curry: *UPDATE January 2021* I moved to a bigger apartment here and here are a few things. The draft on the 3 bedroom/3 bath lofts are absolutely ridiculous. It seems it never truly gets warm throughout the whole unit. The caulking and insulation in this unit has been subpar to say the least. To pay rent of over $1600 per month and to also have over the top electric bills is absolutely insane. I expected a higher electric bill, but not to be paying more than double my bill from the previous apartment in the same complex.Next is parking, I have had 2 guests in my home who have gotten their cars towed in the same month. From my understanding the towing starts at 11pm but recently my guests were leaving at 10:15pm and heard their car alarm going off. We quickly rushed outside and saw their car being towed. I, of course feeling absolutely terrible paid the $150 to have the car released. Apparently they will tow now anytime after 6pm. For the amount of rent we pay, I think that’s absolutely horrendous. Not to mention the disheveled, dirty, non-mask wearing meth addicted looking tow driver broke in their front door, and asked for a VIN number. Excuse me?? In these covid times I think not sir. I will be contacting the police for the next steps because that is breaking and entering. There are literally 6 visitor spots in the whole complex. I see countless vehicles parked daily with no stickers and never see them getting towed. To have such a big apartment complex and only have 6 visitor parking spots is absolutely asinine. My biggest issue with this place is parking. You cannot come home after 8pm and expect to park near your home. And apparently now you cannot have visitors after 6 without the risk of them getting towed. I absolutely wish they had assigned parking. Needless to say this has completely soured my experience living here and I will not be renewing my lease.I am currently a resident and I can definitely attest that parking can be difficult and frustrating. My experiences haven’t been that bad because its only myself and a older child, and I have one vehicle and there is usually at least one open parking spot within walking distance if I come home later than usual. The apartment however, does not disappoint even the classic non upgraded version is very nice and clean. (Spiral staircase for the win!!)I did have an unpleasant run in with my downstairs neighbor on my actual moving day. While I was moving furniture in and they started banging on the ceiling. Again, I was literally moving furniture in so that was a bit ridiculous to me. I have older wood floors in my apartment so maybe that attributed to it. I informed the rental office the next day and was ready to cancel everything but I was assured they would handle it and I’ve had no issues since then. Everyone else has been super friendly and accommodating. There is also a strict noise ordinance from 10pm-8am at the community so beware of that. Apparently multiple people are complaining about noise. I hear dogs barking and people enjoying their patios and such but it doesn’t bother me because it’s not an excessive unheard of noise. You are going to have noise at most apartment complexes and if you are one of those complaining people, I say to you.. get a friggin house 😉.All in all, my experience has been great besides some minor issues so far. I’m very happy with my decision to move here.
Peaches Holden: I have been a resident at The Lofts at Strickland since 2015, as I have seen management changes, Megan has been a jewel to the community. She is always pleasant, always willing to make sure the residents are happy and satisfied in our homes. I do hope she continues to be here on the property for a while 😊
Paul Fogg: We have been residents of The Lofts at Strickland Glen for almost 2 years, in that time we have had a managerial and maintenance staff change which has made a phenomenal improvement in the environment here. The new staff members are a very positive change and one of the many reasons we are continuing to live here.Meagan, the leasing agent is fantastic-very personable, a real take charge person [always looking at ways to bring a sense of community to the area] and from what I can tell she's a real go-getter. My wife is a former Apartment Complex manager and has remarked on many positives attributes Meagan has exhibited whilst in her presence-she's made quite a difference, in getting units filled. Mike, the new manager, is a very caring and thoughtful person, who seems to want to make a very positive difference to this community. Even though he is more behind the scenes in his role, he is often seen walking the property and being sociable with the residents. As far as the maintenance staff is concerned, I cannot say enough positive things about them. They are attentive, efficient and well trained in what they do. They are far superior to what we had in the past and the evolving positive changes in the property are a direct result of their hard work. I can only say words of praise for Izzy and Kenny, because they are the best.
Sarah: I just recently moved to Raleigh from Ohio, and the moment I stepped foot on the property here, I felt very welcomed. Megan in the office was so polite and helpful in the decision making process as well as in the initial steps of moving in. She has always been friendly and willing to help, always offering a smile and kind words. I have not been here long, but so far my experience with the people here has been fantastic and made my transition easy!
John Cafarelli: I’ve lived here since 2012. Megan is one of the best and most accommodating leasing managers that we have had! She is caring and always quick to respond. Outstanding customer service!
Jay Hall: The new property manager is very rude and has attitude whenever you call the office. I would not move here if I could help it .
Matthew Pleasant: I had a unique situation and Chrissy and Tom were awesome to work with. Love the apartment, the layout and the community so far. The complex is perfectly situated. It feels out-of-the-way but very close to everything you need including access to 540 making access and commuting easy.Sharon helped with my internet and cable. I'll have to say I was blown away by the personal service she provided. I was a little reluctant to go with Spectrum as an AT&T customer, but I am super happy that I did. Sharon was very responsive through the set up process and set me up with exactly what I was after with no pressure to "up sell".
Alex Skye: Had a good time living here and some issues but would recommend to others.
L Lawrence: When we lived there, it was like living in a nightmare for a year. The PM Tom was nothing but smug towards the residents, he would laugh in your face if you tried to confront him with issues regarding your apartment. He actually brought this complex down, along with the maintenance guy Bobby. Neither one of them actually cared or did anything to help any of the residents. The maintenance guy Bobby actually started yelling at me because he didn't appreciate me putting in work orders online because he said it made him and Tom look bad, my response to him was that if he would actually fix things, he wouldn't have to constantly come back to the apartment. Our A/C had finally stopped working after putting in several work orders in for 4 months because it was constantly breaking, and Tom refused to fix it for an entire month (August to September). We were given 1 portable A/C unit for an almost 1500 sq ft apartment, I had to request 2 more and of course Bobby got mad at me for that as well. Tom finally had the A/C people come out to fix it the day after my Son was released from the hospital after having a 3rd spine surgery, and Tom knew all of this because I repeatedly begged him to have the A/C fixed before my Son was released and Tom refused. And even after I did my final walk through after moving out, I turned in the keys to Tom and he actually tried to continue to make up his own rules, that is when I finally got corporate involved because all I wanted to do was get away from him and never have to see either of them again. Even corporate was in awe at what he had and was still trying to do to my Son and I even after turning in the keys. Like I said in the beginning, we literally lived in a nightmare for a year. There was so much more that happened in our apartment that entire year, but I won't keep going on about it, I am just so glad to be out of there and be able to now provide my Son with a safe and livable apartment elsewhere. And I ask the office there not to respond to this review as your corporate office has already resolved and addressed my concerns and complaints.
William Rieske: Worst apartment complex I've ever lived at, so many bugs and maintenance does nothing. The office staff is terrible too, they have the s.o.l. approach
Mrs. K Glover: Our lease will be up come July and I can not wait!! I do not recommend anyone with a family/kids to move here. Parking is HORRIBLE (even with their “so call” parking enforcement)!! They recommend that your company/guests use the visitor parking spaces, but those are taking up by actual tenants. Our half bath had issues since we moved into the place, toilet over flows, maintenance comes and “fix” it, yet the issue persisted. So many inconsistencies with office personnel , misplacing my mail etc. It was the most unpleasant yr living here. I will never return.
K M: The grounds are routinely maintained, with the exception of the dumpster overflowing on a few occasions. Finding a parking space hasn't been an issue for me, though I do notice sometimes that spots are taken directly in front of my building. I do not have any medical condition that ails me and don't mind parking far, though I don't feel like I should have to. Fairly quiet area, great location. There is a very pleasant woman at the front desk that has always been nice to me when I've come in for packages. Neither she nor the property manager have been nasty to me.A few months ago, one of my packages went missing. It was odd, and seemed like no one would take responsibility, but luckily it was a free item so I didn't put up a fuss. Few months later, my vehicle was towed. I knew it had to be a mistake, and went to the office once they opened and was told that although I had a sticker provided to me by the front office, it was an old sticker. The property manager explained that he'd taped notices to each door notifying each tenant that new stickers were needed. I didn't have anything on my door. No torn piece of paper, no piece of tape stuck on the door to tell me that maybe it had been ripped off; nothing. No e-mail. I'd been in the office at least 4 times picking up packages, with no verbal "hey, did you get a new parking sticker?" It seemed so odd to me. I didn't want to argue about it so I received the new sticker and paid for an uber to a location in Garner NC to retrieve my vehicle (paid over $200).I later tried reaching out to the Solomon Group, since it seemed the PM and I were at an impasse, to absolutely no avail. Talk about odd. I sent a message to them three times, and not once did they reply back or reach out. Highly unprofessional, and absolutely SO odd to me. It would be funny if it weren't so frustrating.Aside from that, living here has been pleasant. Very close to several grocery stores; one in walking distance. Just sharing my experience.

Centennial Lofts: what do users think?
Jordan Hanus: 0 stars Roaches, spiders, no insulation, faulty stove, faulty sinks, cockroaches, hvac units cant maintain room temps, rains through the ceiling in kitchen and living room, had to put handles on cabinets myself, 1300$ monthly, ceiling tiles missing from upstairs flood down here, walls and doors and trim is patched everywhere, rains inside the apartment in two areas, refridgerator cant maintain temperature, this is just the start. You can call for maintenance and nothing actually gets fixed kind of ridiculous place to live as of April 17th 2023 this place is still a problem my g/f cant catch a break with these people.
RJ Jeffreys: Terrible management bugs r terrible mold all ova the place when it rains of u at bottom floor it floods and bugs come thru from outside and my place has been mold everywhere
Sai Graham: Do. Not. Move. Here.
Kanesha lewis: Not the place to live for a peaceful environment. Management is awful, no one is ever in the office to handle any issues or problems. Their phones are never picked up when you call, they walk in your home without notice or giving a heads up.
Ashley McMillen: scheduled a tour of apartment a week in advance to touring. No one was there to give tour. Left voicemails and no response. Don't let them waste your time too.
Joseph LaMonica: At Centennial Lofts, it’s hard to feel like you’re anything more than a revenue stream.Centennial Lofts is one of several property holdings managed by Credit Suisse Asset Management in New York. You can find the SEC report online. This company has several real estate holdings in the area including: Capital Flats and Magnolia Square, Colony Townhomes, Midtown Park Townhomes, and Parkside at Five Points. Each of these properties is managed by New Urban Residential.During my time at Centennial Lofts, the management companies overseeing the property have changed frequently, however, there has been one constant across all of them: a complete lack of interest in the residents and a disregard for the human experience. This is reflected in the condition of the complex, the poor workmanship of the apartment units (at least mine anyway), and lack of responsiveness and reliability on the part of the management company. The grounds of the complex are fair, but in no way are they anything to be proud of. Near my complex there was a bare patch of ground that would erode during every rainfall and would often leave soil at my doorstep. It’s apparent that the bare minimum has been done with the landscape. You will pay an additional fee per month for pest control; however, cockroaches will be a constant companion in the evenings.Even less impressive than the condition of the grounds is the workmanship of the rooms. For a monthly rate of $825 per month (now listed as $900), I received a 375 SF shoebox of a studio. The kitchen had no counter space. There was a portion of the wall in the bathroom, that was simply patched with a piece of plywood. The pantry closet had no shelves. The overhead kitchen cabinets couldn’t be fully opened because one of the contractors carelessly installed a piece of trim in front of them. When I visited my friend at his one-bedroom apartment at The Grove complex, he had at least twice as much space, a functioning kitchen with counter space, and he was paying less per month. Yeah, there was still the issue of cockroaches, but at least he wasn’t paying a monthly fee for pest-control services.Perhaps the most frustrating part about living at Centennial Lofts is the lack of management. Out of 9 email communications that I sent out to New Urban Residential regarding my lease agreement, move out procedure, etc.; I received 1 response back. That’s an 11% response rate! There wasn’t even a simple acknowledgement that the messages had been received. In fact, there’s most likely a higher probability that management will respond to this review than they will to current resident complaints. On my last day at Centennial, I went to the office to return my key. What should have been a simple, 30-minute exercise took nearly 2 hours. I sat in awkward silence, waiting to complete the checkout procedure as the person in the office that day was embroiled in an argument with his manager regarding his productivity (or lack of). When he got off the phone, he was fighting to hold back tears, clearly aggravated by the conversation he just had and the accusations being made against him. As I sat there in quiet frustration and discomfort, I couldn’t help but think of how happy I was to finally be walking away from this toxic-cultured, unresponsive, incompetent management company that is New Urban Residential.I can say with utmost confidence that this was THE worst rental experience I’ve ever had in my life. I really hope that Centennial Lofts (and by that I also mean New Urban Residential) can get its act in order. It isn’t fair for people to be spending their hard-earned money on low-quality units managed by a disinterested, unresponsive company whose primary focus, it seems, is to increase the wealth of private investors who may not even be residents of North Carolina.Like many other reviewers on here, I wish I could leave 0 stars. Since that isn’t an option, another 1-star review for Centennial Lofts.
Ann Stancil: Worst place I have ever lived. The walls are so thin I can hear my upstairs neighbor talking on the phone and litterly hear the person who is on the other end. I unwillingly know there entire lives as I can hear all of it. It is currently 95 degrees out and 2 out of 3 of our AC units are broken and can not get in contact with the leasing office to get it fixed. When we called they hung up on us. Our ceiling has leaked on multiple occasions causing damage to the wall and stuff in our pantry, still couldn’t get ahold of management for that. We are at the point of withholding rent until they fix these issues as the AC issue is breaking tenant laws. Inspectors for safety violations have had to be called out and nothing has changed. Whatever you do, no matter the price this place is not worth it. Do not live here!!
Eric Collins: DON’T MOVE OUT HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! THIS PLACE IS BUG AND ROACH INFECTED. THE BUGS COMES OUT THE WALLS, YOU CAN TRY WHAT YOU WANT THEY CONSTANTLY COME BACK. MANAGEMENT IS HARD TO GET IN CONTACT WITH REGARDING MAINTENANCE ELES ETC. THE PARKING IS TERRIBLE BEING THAT ITS BUILT ON A HILL! I HATE STAYING HERE AND ONCE MY LEASE IS UP IN SEPTEMBER IM LEAVING AND NEVER LOOKING BACK! I SAY ALL THAT TO SAY THIS IF UOU LOOKING TO MOVE HERE DON’T! DON’T DO IT THINKING YOU GOING SAVE MONEY , ITS NOT WORTH IT TRUST ME!!
Sophia Torres: Very dirty place. All common areas are full of trash and are in bad shape. There are no recycling bins and the administration doesn't do anything about the place.
Anjli Devi: DO NOT MOVE HERE. On my move in day, the place was infested with roaches. About 15 roaches actually crawled out of the lining of the fridge when I spray there because I saw 2 roaches. The inside of the fridge was also filled with dead flies. Thank god I didn’t sign the lease yet. The management was absolutely horrible. They sent me a welcome email with the wrong address. I had gotten renters insurance (it was required for prior to move in day) with that wrong address and was adamant that the address they gave me was wrong but they did not even check until move in day and SHOCKER: they did give me the wrong address. Among other little things that had happened throughout the whole process; everything was a red flag. Please avoid this place if you don’t want to waste a couple weeks of your life.Keep in mind: the pictures are from move in day and just of the fridge. Imagine the rest of the apartment
aditya badheka: I wish I had the energy to describe the trauma causes by this place. This place can not be legal. I think we need to sue them.
Addison Heider-Metour: This place needs to be torn down, I am contacting the city today to see if I can get an inspector out here. It is wildly unsafe and every single review on here is fully justified.
Hsin Li: You need to fix your phone and check the email!
Vanessa Kinkade: I haven’t even moved in yet . I just got my keys and went to see the apartment and it is not at all what we discussed. It’s so small and nowhere to put anything. I applied for a 1 bedroom, why did I get a studio?
Jessica Levis: Have tried calling multiple times and used their contact section on the website but have still been unable to get a response.
Kaitlyn Flick: I’ve only been here for a few months but I can justify every single review that is posted along with mine. This place has been nothing short of a nightmare. They were very nice of my dogs coming here with me because of their breeds but everything else has been the worst. Roaches everywhere no matter what I do to combat them they are still everywhere. I was hospitalized due to the black mold in my closet and it took me getting sick for them to come and clean it but disregarded the hole in my bathroom wall until I had to email AGAIN about it. And then it got fixed before the date I was given so they broke the no enter policy I set up because of my dogs. Trying to get them to come and spray for the pest control I pay for in my rent is a nightmare. I understand things happen but a little communication goes a very long way. Just never rent from here, this place should be condemned until they clean it up and fix everything
Adam Valero: I don't live here I just wanted to give a shout out to Sarai (sorry if I botched your name) I went to about 12 different apartment complexes and she was the only one who actually called me back about the interest I had back in October or November so thank you!
Averi Zimmermann: Please, don’t move here. I wish I could give it no stars. Do not waste your time. They look cute and quirky and different but that’s about it. Roaches coming out of appliances, holes in walls, broken rusted toilet seat, wires dangling from weird places, ZERO soundproofing. I can tell you the exact date my neighbor conceived their baby, and which episode of American Dad they constantly re play. There is water damage, weird smells, unsafe and gross looking ceilings and management does nothing. They do not communicate, they do not answer, I’m not even sure if maintenance is a thing here because after multiple requests…no one. Most of them are not even kind human beings. So please, look somewhere else. Instant regret, we’re trying to shorten our lease as we speak. And we will be reporting the hell out of this place.
mike kelly: This place has so much to offer! You're never lonely with the roach infestation and paper thin walls. The appliances flood and leave you with an indoor swimming pool (mold included). Wires dangling from ceiling, A maintenance team that does practically nothing, mysterious terrible smells, and much, much more! Overall, a disgusting place to live and I can't wait to get out.
Jazlyn Tully: Worst place ever. Walls are super thin, you can literally smell cigarette smoke from outside coming into your apartment. ALSO when I moved out the very first of the month, they called me WEEKS later thinking I was still there after I returned a key AND signed paperwork. They are so unorganized and clueless. I asked for a deposit back and they “didn't have my paperwork” and said basically they never knew I even lived there after new management. Save your money and the headache
Tobi W.: Weve been through 3 changes of management and maintenance. My wife left a wonderful review about the maintenance team that is leaving. There's no way to contact the office outside of 2-3 days a week when they will answer one email. We've needed weekly repairs to the point where we now have to leave our apartment for a day but WAIT! They've changed maintenance again! So we don't even know who will be in our apartment. My wife is stressed, my home is falling apart and we feel cheated and swindled. Wish we knew the extent of the damage before we signed the lease. Without telling us, they pressure washed yesterday and parts of my house fell in and flooded.

Lofts at Weston: what do users think?
Ping Bee: Great building, not worth the price .. ALOT OF WATER BUGS .. maintenance is prompt as far as management … Kristin is unresponsive and can be condescending.. also doesn’t ever do her job so if you move here you’ll have issues with her outside of that I enjoyed the space
cobey faulkner: It is the worst place I have ever stayed at the pool is always closed down the staff is rude the elevator is always broken it stinks in the hallways trash in it do not recommend to stay here
Timothy Oakes: The price is overpriced for the unmaintained amenities and the inept front office. Took over a month for the front office to complete my lease renewal. The front office is also hyper focused on ‘updating’ amenities instead of fixing current broken ones.Edit in response to the owner's response to provide clarification:I had confirmed before the lease renewal process began that I would not have to pay for another "one-time pet fee". I confirmed digitally that I would do a lease renewal. It took over two-weeks to receive the copy of the lease which had wording where it appeared that I could have to pay for the "one-time pet fee" again as that was what was marked. I asked for an email confirmation stating that this was not the case. It took over three-weeks and a call to the corporate office (the current lease had less than three weeks left on it) for the staff to send an email with four sentences verifying this.Broken amenities and facilities are not restricted to the stolen weights in the gym referenced in the owner's response. Includes a gas grill that was broken for around four-months then the management taking out the remaining grill and not replacing them for over a month. I am unsure of why the remaining grill would not just be left in place? Includes a side door that takes leaning into it with my body weight to open it. The side door has been like this for over two-months where I understand a couple of different of people have submitted work orders for it. These are examples from what I've observed.
M B: Loved this apartment complex! The ladies who run the leasing office are the sweetest and attentive! Maintainance is fast and fantastic! The location is peaceful. The complex itself has great amenities, timely cleaning crews, and feels like a homey hotel with the elevators and great lounge spots. Only complaints? Management is best reached in person; phone calls and emails go unanswered often. Their billing company makes mistakes so be sure to check bills often. Front door security could be better, slightly sloppy paint job when we moved in, and be prepared for a potentially messy situation on your balcony when the local swallows are nesting. The only reason we did not stay or upgrade into the two bedroom like we wanted, was due to the undesirable floor plan options. The one bedroom was great, but the two bedroom floorplans lacked proper space, and had funky closet and kitchen layouts. No issues with any appliances, though, and everything was properly upgraded. Still a five out of five stars! We are going to miss you!
Susie Kellog: Horrible staff, never return phone calls, unreachable email and voice mail. Also, no price transparency.. I am surprised the staff is still employed there after being so incompetent and this company is stil in business after such bad reviews. When I visited the office this month, they were very rude to new prospects so I decided not to pursue this place
Richard Steadman: Apartments and amenities are very nice and modern. The complex location is excellent, shopping, restaurants, etc. are very nearby. The only issue is the office staff. You never get to speak with anyone when you call - just a promise for a return call that NEVER happens from an answering service. Hoping for a return email is as hopeless as expecting a return phone call. There is a “contact us” feature on their website, but it’s obviously there just for looks as no one ever replies! If you love to be ignored and the constant frustration of not being able to talk to the leasing office then this is the place for you!!!
Carolyn Gilbert: Very professional managers. My tour was detailed, not rushed and Katie answer all of my questions. The area is beautiful, easy access to a host of shopping, stores, transportation and other areas in and around Cary.
Johnyta Wanamaker: I've lived here for about 6-7 months and The apartment itself is gorgeous. I love the style and layout. However, there are several issues that have bothered me. Constant roach issue (even though I asked for pest control AND pay for it every month), dogs barking consistently in the middle of the night(complex has no control really but refuse to speak to tenants), email ignored about my door left open by workers renovating, door still having issue closing after renovation, HVAC door left open despite it supposed to be locked (no one called me back about this).Despite contacting them, it is common for them to not respond (sometimes they do). There is always renovations so for most of my time here, there has been things I couldn't access however, im sure is still included in rent.Overall, the apartment itself is great but I wish communication was better and construction was not a constant occurrence.UPDATE (4/22/2022): Still having the same issues, communication worsening, dogs still bark all day and night, fire alarms randomly going off with no email as to why, Gym closed for extended periods of time on SHORT AND LATE notice and etc.
Sebastian Seidlitz: If you love never ending construction/renovation (parking lots, gym, public area) and right next, above and below your apartment + hallway; tenants constantly leaving their dogs to bark on the balcony and use it at their bathroom; cockroach infestation, smell of dog urine(because people just let them do their business right away at the fake lawn section), constant pool closures, smell of the Cary water reclamation (sewer) on certain days during summer located right next to the complex and pay a premium price...then this is your place. Before I moved here I was living at a college dorm with 2 room mates, this has been more pleasant and cheaper.
Living Life: If you are thinking about moving here, DONT DO IT. It is roach invested. ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES. The smoke alarms go off every week. It could be 3am or 1pm. It doesn't matter they are going off. worse mistake of living here.
wdhughes: Great location close to Umstead State Park. Management was always friendly and helpful.
Pepper Oldziey: I've lived here for about two years, since I sold my home in Chapel Hill. I am so loving the ability to have an attractive and modern apartment right near all the professional clients my business serves. I live close to everything I need. The apartments are beautiful, layout of rooms maximizes light with tall windows. Lakeside views are relaxing. The kitchens and bathrooms are modern and luxurious. It is the best of apartment living with all the luxury of modern home ownership but without the constant expense of property care and maintenance.
Donna Bartley: We have been living at The Arboretum for almost 1 year. It is our first experience living in any apartment environment. We have truly enjoyed living here with few exceptions. We have been somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness and upkeep of the buildings, carpet in hallways not being vacuumed, elevators not being cleaned or serviced, lack of building security, i.e. doors left propped open, some doors not maintained for entry with fobs. However, in the last two months we have seen major improvement. We have been very pleased with the promptness and expertise of the maintenance team. We would recommend to our friends this type of living and this facility. We love having the convenience of the retail community.
Jeff Fischer: Bait and switch alert! Prices on apartments.com are 29% lower than when you call them. I called them and the same/similar apartments were priced at $1700 and then $1900 rather than the $13XX and $14XX prices listed on apartments.com AND their website.Get your business together. Stop wasting people's time unless we get to charge you for it.
Anastasia Ivanova: I really enjoyed working with Simone their leasing manager. She is unbelievably helpful and kind. Simone went out of her way to make sure we got to see the apartment because of current conditions. This is a beautiful community with an amazing team!
Carri Cummings: The apartments are beautiful. But honestly huge issues with parking. I have to park in front of the main building when I live in the back building. People literally park in the middle of the road because of this. Honestly if it didn’t take 7 grand to break the lease I’d have been gone
Gabriel Fraenkel (Gabe): I'm shocked by the recent poor reviews, this location has one of the most responsive and courteous management teams in all of my apartment living experiences. Process for applying was simple and the website UI is bug-free. Staff is friendly, apartments are top-notch, great value. Couldn't recommend this community enough.
Brian Williams: Just to sum it up, this isn’t a great place live. The electricity bill is so high that it makes you think someone is stealing your power. Not a great dog place. Dog poop everywhere
Camp One: My air has broken three times. I only been here since November. They came and put a window unit on a first floor apartment which is not safe. My house was very hot. I would not suggest moving here.
Samantha D: Location is great. However I am posting this review to ask if you can please do some landscaping. You have the people mowing the grass and leaf blowing every week. The mulch is absolutely atrocious. Being that we can’t have the luxury of the pool or gym, we could at least have some decent landscaping, especially since we already have landscapers/ yard workers coming to the apartments weekly.
Richard Canevari: Tried to ask about some information on an apartment and purposely got hung up on twice. Not really sure what I did but oh well. Looking at the next place. Terrible customer service.

The Lincoln Apartments: what do users think?
Jayashri Padmanabhan: I did not live at the Lincoln, but I toured and seriously considered it as my next home - shout out to Chloe/management for all their help during this process! The building looks great, the staff is helpful and is worth consideration if you're looking to move.
Luke Zerangue: Leasing and Maintenance Team are awesome. The building covers a square block so it’s good size. The maintenance gentleman is super quick and highly skilled.
Jerome Tanner: I’ve live at the Lincoln for 8 months now it’s the best decision I made …..the customer service is the best and I’ve had no issues at all….if you are looking for great location ….great all around customer service downtown life the I recommend the Lincoln 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Erik: I lived at the Lincoln for about 2 years. It is the best renting experience I have ever had. The entire team does anything they can to make your time there comfortable. Meagan Walker (The Property Manager) is extremely professional and very easy to talk to. I appreciate that everyone at the Lincoln genuinely cares and made my time there feel like home.
Courtney Cefalo: Lived at the Lincoln for 2 years and loved every minute of it! Meagan and her staff at the front office are extremely helpful and friendly as well as maintenance being quick and efficient. Great place to live and quiet for being right downtown!
Brian Murphy: I had nothing but a great experience while living at the Lincoln. The amenities in the building along with the location are fantastic. The maintenance staff were always very quick to answer any problems that I had within my unit and the front office staff were always very helpful. The property manager Meagan Walker was especially helpful in my time at the complex. To anyone looking for a place to live in Raleigh with reasonable rent and a great location, I strongly recommend the Lincoln!
Quinn Stearns: Best move-in experience I've ever had. My apartment was spotless. Maintenance has always been really responsive and friendly. The leasing office staff are not only kind, but also very approachable, which I feel is not always the case in a lot of apartments so I really appreciate that. And for the location, the price can not be beat!
Francis Fan: Moving to The Lincoln was by far the best and quickest transition I've ever made. The entire staff has been extremely helpful, and Charity Cannon went above and beyond to meet all of my requirements. It's a lovely place with a wonderful community. I'm delighted to be here.
courtland sawyer: "Amazing complex, Meagan Walker the Property Manager is incredible and accommodating." I would recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for quality and comfortability.
Tiger Kaovilai: Meagan is the best property manager one can ask for. Somehow she noticed me moving my desks between the units here and came to help out.
Ginny Osewalt: Deonna was so helpful and accommodating! She understood our needs and responded to our questions with knowledge and professionalism!
Scarlett Trainor: I love living here! Great location and awesome leasing office employees. The townhome is in perfect shape and they really go above and beyond for their residents!
Matthew Tramel: I lived here from 2019 - 2022. This Lincoln is overall a good place to live if you want to be downtown for a decent price. There are a lot of good bars and restaurants a short walk away from the complex while also being far enough away from downtown to be quiet most days. The amenities are average but useable. I never had any issues working with the office staff when I had questions and the maintenance staff responded to my maintenance requests in a reasonable amount of time. I especially would like to give a shout out to Meagan for being awesome during my moveout. The complaints I have about The Lincoln is that the hallways can be a little dirty from time to time. Also, if you're living on the East Street side, the bar across the street can be loud on weeknights and especially on weekends. There seems to be a group of people who hang out at the bar even after closing time on weeknights, and you can hear them talking up to midnight. But overall I would recommend The Lincoln as a good place to live if you want to enjoy downtown Raleigh.
Cory Hauke: I lived here for almost 3 years. To start with, this is a great location as far as downtown Raleigh is concerned. You are a few blocks from the bars and restaurants downtown, and on a nice evening, walking to Glenwood is doable (though a bit long). Being on the edge of downtown, there are plenty of more residential-type areas to walk through, which is great if you have a dog. There's also a large lot across the street that (for now) is a great place to walk dogs around. The building is nice. It shows a little bit of age in places, though the management was in the process of redecorating/painting/designing the main spaces, so some of that probably isn't so true anymore. It is generally well kept in my opinion. The finishes in the apartments were also very nice and stood up pretty well to three years of me (and later my dog) living there. Absolutely never had an issue finding parking in the garage on the level on which I lived. The office staff is phenomenal. They were always willing to help out however they could, even when I had questions about moving out. They are genuinely nice people and certainly add to the desirability of the building.Couple of downsides I guess? There can be noise at times, especially in the evenings, but the building is in an urban area, so...you kind of have to expect that if you are going to live there. If you are really worried about noise, don't rent an apartment that's courtyard facing, as the noise reverberates around in there. I would wager there is less noise than some of the building right in the downtown. Other thing to note is this is a large building (takes up a whole block), so like any larger apartment building, you are bound to run into the occasional inconsiderate neighbor, though to be fair, I personally didn't have too many issues with this.5 stars, and I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone thinking about living in or near downtown Raleigh.
Molly Marcotte: No enforcement of mask usage in the building during a global pandemic. Selfish residents who don't care about the health of others and can't put a piece of fabric on their face to go down the hall to check the mail or walk the dog. The delta variant can be transmitted in 5 minutes of cumulative, non-consecutive exposure, so those few minutes walking through halls and public spaces a few times a day without a mask potentially spreading the virus really matter. I have seen at least one property manager also not wearing a mask when interacting with residents. I would suggest living somewhere where people actually seem to remember there's a global pandemic happening.
Valerie M: The apartment inside is nice including good water pressure, sizable shower and bathroom. Appliance are GE and new paint and carpets were done when we moved in. The only complaint inside is that you have to keep the windows closed due to bugs coming inside.View is great on the side facing East St, but can be loud early in the morning and late at night due to construction across the road, trash pick up, and bar across the road that has opened since moving in.The amenities, parking lot, package pickup area, hallways and trash area all tend to be dirty. Dirtiness includes roaches found in the hallway that stay there for weeks, messy packages area, and you can be searching in 3-4 different areas for your packages. Elevator on the end of the building to package room is often broken. Also, our neighbor's car was broken into while living here.Rent to apartment also raised by 25% while apartment is undergoing renovations and elevator is broken. Guess that is what you get when you moved into one of the more affordable places in downtown.
Casey Blackman: The Lincoln was amazing! The staff (aka Heather!) Did a fantastic job touring me around the apartments! I can't wait to live here!!!!
Michelle Murphy: I love living at the Lincoln! Great location and very nice units. Guests always comment how nice our apartment is. Amenities are nice, although pool and gym are both a little small and I wish there was a designated dog area. Staff is very friendly, but I will say they are sometimes hard to get in touch with, but of course, this may be due to the Pandemic.
Ram A: Really enjoyed the Lincoln experience! Lived there 2019-20. Just a cool chill vibe. Good nice people. Love the location! Very hip side of town, pretty unique experience. Nice to walk to the Moore/Fayetville areas, East side places. I love Meghan! She is a pro...she is kind and knowledgeable and she goes out of her way to accomodate. You can't go wrong with Meghan- Thank you for the good experience!
Nick Strope: I have lived in the Lincoln Apartments for almost two years now. When I moved to Raleigh, I moved blindly and never got to even look at places. I choose the Lincoln because it was close to Downtown, close(ish) to my work and was a really good price. What I came to love about the place was the amazing community, the wonderful amenities, and they absolutely state of the art property managing team. Kellie, Chelsea and Parker have to be the most down to earth, well liked and most fun group of professionals that I have ever been around. Every day I am so thankful that I get to call the Lincoln Apartments my home. I literally never want to leave it is such a perfect place to live at.
Nick: The Lincoln is a great place to call home. It's within walking distance to the best places downtown, and the office and maintenance staff are always polite and work to ensure residents' needs are met. It has an awesome view of DTR's skyline and the pet spa is hugely convenient. There's an app for opening the parking deck gate and the main entrances for guests (or yourself when you leave your keys in your apartment). I've lived here for almost 4 years and look forward to many more! (Also, there's no extra charge for parking in the deck.)
