Deanna: We brought our family and spent approximately $240 for our dinner. We needed 15 seats near each other. There was one table that had a couple of dirty plates on it, but the table was clean, so my daughter moved them to the next table to seat our children and was then going to hand them to the waitress. The waitress asked if there was a tip beside the plates and my daughter told her no. The waitress then had the nerve to say under her breath, "There better not have been". She assumed wrongly that she could not be heard and insinuated my daughter stole her tip. So instead of apologizing, she apparently thought it was a better idea to argue with my daughter about it. Needless to say, it upset my daughter even further. We are not the type of people to automatically scream RACISM, but truly, we feel like this was the case as the young lady was being discriminatory against us. She then took it upon herself to go to each employee she could find to plead her case and she did it in front of other patrons, seemingly trying her best to embarrass our family. The manager did not appear to have reprimanded her and we had to demand a different waitress, who might I add, did receive a hefty tip when we were finished dining. When we were leaving, my daughter asked the manager for the district managers phone number. She tried her best not to give it to us, as she felt she had handled our problem well, which she did not. Needless to say, that's the last time we will ever go back.

Two pans of burnt bacon pieces sat on the buffet the whole time we were there !! How about just better quality and less quantity !!#2 We had to actually go get a server and beg for water. Staff here are pretty nice, too, though of coyrse most of this is buffet style and low staff interactivity.While I don't necessarily recommend this place for vegetarians, you can get away with it. Cam Honour: We booked a reservation for Mother’s Day brunch. Checked out the menu/pricing and budgeted accordingly. Upon arrival we were confused as we were ushered to a convention room with a buffet and given a bill at the end for $60 per person. So what we were expecting to be a $250 family meal turned out to be a nearly $600 meal after tip. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good but I can’t but feel like this was a bit of a bait n switch. I looked back at our reservation thinking I may have missed something but there was nothing indicating a buffet at that price point. In business your customers should always know the cost before buying your product or service. Very deceptive.

James Goerke: Food was good and the atmosphere is relaxing even though you’re in the middle of a lobby and conversation area. I can’t speak to their breakfast buffet but it looks pretty nice. My beyond burger was ok, it lacked some spices and the caramelized onions were actually grills and not very well. But that’s a small complaint in the scheme of things.

I asked for 6 of the spice scale and the dish was not spicy at all. I think they charged me for pickle which should be free as a condiment. It was sweet and not to my pallette either. Poori was nice and so was rice and chai tea, though the tea lacked spice as well. Nice staff. Pretty good over all.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant several times a year for about 8 years, including every anniversary. Mostly for dinner and occasionally for the lunch buffet.Food is incredibly consistent and high quality. It’s always well-spiced, even at more mild spice requests. The naan here is some of the best in the triangle (order it with butter for a real treat), and the chicken dishes really shine. The Chicken Tikka Masala is the best I’ve ever had a medium (4-5 on their scale), and the butter chicken is also great. I’ve also enjoyed the korma, kadhai, and vindaloo. Both the rose and mango lassi are on point, neither too sweet nor tangy.The relaxed atmosphere is a little dated, but also very comfy/cozy. It’s never loud, even when busy, and despite being small it’s a great place to have a conversation.The service would be my only point of critique; Some of the serving staff can come across as unfriendly or aloof, but most are wonderful professionals. It still isn’t worth docking a star.This place has never let me down, and when the time comes to move, Kadhai will be my first choice for when I come back and visit.

Samantha Haslam: First of all the sign on the building has a different name than this one, I had no idea if I was at the right place, the cooks/ dishwashers were all outside talking about how "good I looked", the guy at the counter was paying more attention to his phone when I walked in then looked at me like I was stupid when i said I was picking up a doordash, they give you the smallest amount of rice, and I have never heart Indian food referred to as bland but I will be the first to say this is FLAVORLESS. The city won’t be missing much when this restaurant tanks.

I just moved to Raleigh in October & haven’t had chicken tikka masala since I left Fayetteville along with my favorite local Indian restaurant & this might have them beat. Almost like it's been sitting out all day. Plenty of empty trays never refilled. They definitely need to work on their consistency and the amount of time that food is left on the buffet. My kids said french fries was so hard. And chicken so hard. Had to track staff down to see if new food was coming out which they never did. Lucky there was fresh fruit there the children can eat. I use to like eating at Chinese buffets but since visiting here i dont know if i would ever try another place.

I got charged full price even tho the door said 8.99 for buffet. I didn't trust handing my Dept card to them. Horrible place. We asked for our $ back but they claimed to not understand our language so we paid and left.

To my dismay, the food was of poor quality. The cauliflower in the Gobhi Manchurian was rotten and emitted a foul odor. It seemed as though they were hoping customers wouldn't notice. The taste was utterly unpleasant. The Chicken Tikka was overwhelmingly spicy due to an excessive amount of black pepper, and the portion size was insufficient with unappealing presentation. This prompted me to call the restaurant right away.Unfortunately, the front desk attendant showed no remorse for my concerns. When I attempted to explain the situation, she nonchalantly asked me to bring back the food containers and promised to replace the appetizers with different ones. As I was leaving, I sampled the Chef's Special Chicken Curry, which turned out to be the worst of all. The chicken was tough and rubbery, lacking any tenderness or flavor. I made the decision to return the entire food order to the restaurant and requested a refund, as my trust in their establishment had been completely shattered, and I didn't want my evening to be ruined.Engaging in extensive discussions with the front desk staff and servers proved fruitless, until eventually, the head chef (who might have been the owner or partner) emerged from the kitchen, seemingly under the influence of alcohol. His behavior took a hostile turn as he resorted to verbally abusing both myself and my friend. He rudely demanded that we leave the premises. Feeling unsafe and uncertain, I had no choice but to involve the authorities by contacting the police.Upon realizing that the police were on their way, the restaurant staff abruptly vacated the premises, closing down the establishment. As they departed, the individual who had been abusive even went so far as to make obscene gestures towards me multiple times. The police provided me with guidance on the necessary steps to take, which I fully intend to follow through with tomorrow. However, I wanted to share my honest review here to ensure that others are aware of the rude behavior exhibited by this restaurant and its staff. Their complete disregard for customer satisfaction and hospitality is deeply concerning. I have been a resident of this area for over a decade and have never encountered such a horrific experience before.I also attempted to contact the owner, Keshav Kaliaa, but he consistently avoided speaking with me, instead focusing his attention on the staff over the phone. I sincerely hope that he takes this matter seriously and holds accountable the individual who engaged in misconduct, verbal abuse, and refused to provide a refund.

Until now, my Indian cuisine experience was limited to butter chicken, but upon the recommendation of my server, Harshi, I decided to venture out hakka noodles and goat curry. Let me tell you, they were absolutely scrumptious! I am already looking forward to returning to Zayka to explore their wide array of dishes.

Kadai paneer was a recommended dish and to say it was bad would be an understatement. If you are trying Indian food for the first time this is not the place you should to go. If you are having soya chap for the first time DO NOT try it from here. It is tasteless. I am not sure if they ever have tasted their own food! If this was not an Indian restaurant I would have understood but it is an Indian restaurant and this food does not represent true flavors of Indian cuisine.To summarize it was $80 down the drain. The spicyness was upto the mark. I never had Palak Panner made like this. Chicken Biryani was cooked really very well.
