North Carolina Horticulturist: For spending an hour driving around to find a DHL drop off location, I made my way to Custom postal for the first time. Ludwig was incredibly helpful. He was able to not only help me with the DHL package, but he also helped me with a FedEx and UPS package. He was very friendly and gave excellent service.

Brooke Wessex: I’ve been going to Custom Postal for a while and they’ve airways been friendly and great to work with. Yesterday I was returning pillows & the postage was going to exceed the cost of the pillows. They spent over 45 minutes replacing the pillows in separate smaller boxes until finally the postage was less than the cost of the return. While I was there, a gentleman came in with wrapping paper. He was proposing that night and bought boxes for his gifts. Because he didn’t know how to wrap the gifts, Kelly wrapped them for him. And because he was getting engaged, they didn’t charge him for the box. Those two examples are emblematic of their community spirit. Glad to know them and support their local business. Highly recommend!

Molly Adamek: I went here to ship a package internationally because they were listed through DHL and it is local - due to rates they suggested USPS instead. Sure that works, but I wrote down the address and told them the return address and somehow they put in an old address I haven’t lived at for nearly a decade and they put the destination address in wrong. I didn’t realize this because there was no screen to double check like they do at UPS and FedEx locations. So basically the international stuff wasn’t done right (they didn’t have me fill out customs forms) and the package got returned to an address I don’t live at anymore. I tried calling them in case they received it anyway, I had to call the post office and go and they searched but this package is missing. So now I’m out a lot of money and had to rebuy the item and ship it through somewhere else. I really recommend going somewhere where they will let you double check the shipping addresses on the screen or show you the label first before putting it on. This has been a stressful experience and they weren’t mean people so I won’t put one star but I don’t recommend this local place over chains due to this experience.

Three years ago myself and 7 other went to Scotland for a golf trip. Kelly more than graciously let us drop off our clubs at Custom Postal so the shipper could pick them up at one location and ship them to Scotland. He did this at no charge to us just as a friendly gesture!

I use their po box service, buy stamps, cards and fun little gift items you don't find in other stores, as well as send and receive packages there. I know the price of stamps/shipping is a little higher there, but its soooo much more convenient than driving out of my way to the post office to stand in a exceedingly long line. Well worth the savings on my time and gas!The people that work there have been there for years and some decades.They are wonderful and are an extension of my team as I own a small business. Always friendly, courteous, very helpful and knowledgeable.A great asset to our community! I highly recommend them!
Jonathan Denton: I went to this store for convenience but now if given the choice, I would go out of my way and wait in a long line at the PO before I go back.1) I expected prices to be higher, but $15 for an $8 flat rate envelope is ridiculous.2) The main reason I'm writing this review is because Kelly (I heard him give his name to someone) was about as rude a store owner/employee? that I have encountered, and he didn't even wait on me. He was very rude to the Amazon driver who came into his store and then he carried that on to the next customer he helped...because he wasn't wearing a mask. This isn't the platform for that debate, but there are appropriate ways to address people and he failed miserably.
vinyrg1: this store located in my neighborhood and would be very convenient for me to mail ups or usps packages except for one thing... Your pre-shipped labels are never scanned and mailing receipts are not available for customers. i lost two packages this way because i had no prove of mailing package . I much rather drive to Strickland UPS store or Creedmoor rd UPS store to get great professional service with printed receipt

Im a truck driver that just moved here from FL. My CDL was about to expire, my plates n reg. As well as my Hazmat Endorsement. I went to the DMV everyday for 2 weeks going through hoops just to get my CDL changed to NC and Renewed with Hazmat again. The DMV was no help. I wish I spoke to you both sooner. So if any other Truck Drivers are moving here from out of state looking to get Hazmat put on. Save yourself time. Get your NC ID first, then come here to do your fingerprints and then go back to DMV to put Endorsement on. The DMV failed to tell me this because they did not know, it’s sad that I had to tell them. I hope this helps someone in the future, Also Bcuz I am prior military and also had a Hazmat before you will be happy to know my Background check came back at 7pm. 8 hours after I left your office. I was referred and recommended to Ship On Site by Staples. When I arrived to Ship on Site, Michelle greeted me as if she already knew what I needed. The process with Michelle was smooth, seamless and quick. She was able to achieve what was needed and within 24 hours, I received my TSA notification. Crash Gregg: Typical of almost every post office except the one in the Village District), horribly slow service here with usually just one or two employees at the counter. Plus the employees fill up the entire parking lot so there's never any parking spaces available.
Wanda Thompson: I mailed a milestone bday card to my bff on March 29th from this location. Bypassed the closest post office thinking it would get there sooner. It is April 1st and her card has yet to arrive. My sister mailed her a card from our closest post office and it arrived today. And the USPS wonders why we prefer UPS, FedEx, Amazon over their snail mail?? I'll NEVER use this location again and I suggest if you want your items to arrive in a timely manner, you do the same. Doesn't take that long from Raleigh to Morrisville. I could have walked it there faster!! Good thing I also sent her flowers!! And they arrived two fricking days BEFORE her bday. This location SUCKS!!!!!

This is in complete contrast to the grumpy, rude worker I encountered at the Holly Springs location who barked at me about not having the document she wanted me to have versus what the USPS website says I need to have. I find when you treat people like you want to be treated, everyone gets treated better.
BeOptimistic4213: I’ve noticed a lot of negative reviews here related to frustrations regarding passports and although I can’t speak to this, this is my second time coming to the post office and have had a good and pleasant experience with ALL staff members even people waiting in line have been friendly with one another. Both times I arrived within 10 to 15 mins of closing and no one has been rude or impolite if anything helpful. Last time the woman who closed the door even let some people come in at 5pm before she closed. So…just dropping this to let them know I’ve appreciated my visits!Update: Came again today (Ive been mailing off clothes I’ve sold on PoshMark and this is a convenient location to stop after work) and I can’t emphasize enough how great and friendly everyone is. Staff updated me that perhaps one individual who may have been a source of the negative reviews is no longer employed there so come pay them a visit for your mailing needs!

After taking one myself using the online tutorial from the state department and being rejected to going to another vendor who did not follow guidelines, I walked in, was asked to wait even though I didn't have an appointment, and was graciously reassured that this my photo would not be rejected!

After much frustration I booked an appointment. I come in on time for this appointment and wait at the desk for passports where no workers were while workers at the other desk just stared at me with no suggestions. After a hot minute I go to the other desk where mailing is done and say I have a passport appointment. I'm then told the passport "agent" is injured and I was called and there was a message left telling me this. I would like the record to state I was never called nor was there a message left. Chalisa Williams: They have the worst customer service EVER just Horrible customer service. They were close to closing and I was there to ship somethings to my sisters. I started writing the label on my package only to notice I left my phone in the car with the address . I asked the AA woman with the locs if I had enough time to go to my car to grab my phone for the address and she replied “we’re about to close” RUDE AS EVER. I mean she hardly looked up from what she was doing. I’m not mad that she said no but it was her tone and body language. I went to leave out and the door was locked so the other AA lady came to unlock the door . She just unlocked it didn’t say a word so I said have a nice day she didn’t even want to say it back . What’s going on at this post office cause the workers moral is lost . Maybe they need some new workers with a fresh approach cause clearly the ones they have aren’t happy about something .The whole atmosphere in this location is depressing. The location on Sunnybrook road is better it’s welcoming the workers speak as you come in and leave.

Wrong information given about postal box because she did not want to be bothered. The postal box I received had black soot covering the inside. The young lady we reported the incident to was professional and apologized. Parking is also tight. Not sure I will stay at this location.

Eric Chancy: No problem with this being on the backside of a church. Using resources sparingly, I get it. Two post offices within 3 miles of each other closed between 12 and 1 - incredibly shortsighted.

Cheese Ham: My printer is broken so I had to get a shipping label in another way. I tried label broker for the first time, and didn't receive the QR code until hours later (so at the time when I had to get the package out, I just thought I wasn't going to receive the email), and I thought just having my label broker ID was enough. The clerk was extremely rude to me, cutting me off while talking, and not at all helpful. I know that I was confused and probably annoying, and I know that working with the public sucks but I was definitely a little taken aback by her attitude when I didn't approach the desk with rudeness.

Chase Cares: Nice little post office, there was no line when I went and Friday morning.
WolfBenz: Our packages were thrown all over the place in our mail delivery room for the Wade Park apartment complex. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. There was an attempt to place the piles at the base of the appropriate mailbox area, but the proper approach was to either place it in the correct mailbox or in a locker so that they were not mishandled, stolen, or otherwise lost. By the time people had rummaged through the piles, it was impossible to know what package belonged where. This is clearly a lazy, undisciplined, and careless delivery person. Now we are going through the process of trying to find our package and, ultimately, trying to obtain a refund from the supplier. Absolutely poor customer service, to say the least!

Jennifer Gilmore: follow up: I went back to talk to them about it, and Rosalind was belligerent and uncaring. When pressed to discuss it, she threatened me with trespassing! I filed a formal complaint.Original review. I came to the post office at 1:28 pm to buy a roll of stamps which would’ve taken two minutes. unfortunately, they had already locked the door for their lunch. That starts at 1:30. Even though she came to the door to explain this to me and I showed her what time it was, she turned around and said that they were closed for lunch and shut the door.Now I will have to come back at another time which will take far more than the two minutes she could’ve spent selling me some stamps.

Today, a different counter person told me there was no such thing. When I insisted, she called me nasty. This is no way to treat customers. When you've seen something with your own 2 eyes, and then are told you're wrong & nasty, that's bad customer service.

Maria Doyle: I 100% disagree with the negative comments here. I arrived 8:55AM (the office opens 9AM) and Sharon saw me right away and with a smile. She was very professional and friendly. At 9:10AM I was on my way home. The customer who was next in line also conversed with Sharon and it was obvious she knew her clients using this postal office. I will be using this office again!

I arrived with a package and the electronic barcode for the Post Office to print and affix the shipping label to the box that contained an item previously purchased that I was returning. I did not have tape when packing the item but I knew from prior experiences at other USPS locations tape is available and the staff will use on items being shipped by customers. Not this location! The clerk stated I needed to purchase a roll of packing tape instead of simply using the packing tape that was literally next to her on the counter. Better service needs to be offered to customers. This was the first and last time I will visit this USPS location.
Richard: I filled out the mail transfer form and it worked a couple of times. Then it stopped working.then I received information that my mailbox at 437 Rosehaven Dr had quite a bit of mail in it and 2 packages. Neighbors took it to the post office and they said they would hold it. One was a prescription. Someone didn’t implement the transfer. I would sure like to get the mail being held. Mike WAtkins: James, the postman filling in is the rudest postman I have ever met. I have been going to this post office for several weeks now and have been charged a certain rate for my packages by the nice ladies who work there. James who was filling in tried to charge me a different rate and when I try to explain it to him he would not hear me. I asked for one of the ladies who work there and he refused to go get her. He lacked any sort of politeness and was very unhelpful.

Glenn Banks: I used to get very good service at this office and I’ve had a PO Box here for several years. Now I get a lecture every time I come in without a mask. Tried to explain that I have a medical exemption to the governor’s illegal mandate. She didn’t want to hear it. She kept repeating “next time you have to have a mask.” She didn’t want to give me my package which, I believe, is a federal offense. So is refusal of service under ADA. Failure to wear a mask isn’t even a state or local offense.

Other neighbors have talked to each other about this issue. They say the mailman is being lazy and careless. Please check into the issue.

A little line with only one worker doing everything and the other @ lunch. But overall its the post office no real point of complaining any ways. Hayan Alhariri: I had a terrible experience at the post office today. The customer service provided by an old white man working there was beyond disappointing. He was incredibly difficult to deal with and super rude. It was obvious to me that he didn't like me because of the color of my skin, and his behavior was blatantly racist. The way he talked to me was unacceptable. He showed no interest in helping me, and instead, made the experience of visiting the post office extremely unpleasant. It's disheartening to see that there are still racist individuals like him working in public-facing roles, especially in today's world. I visited the post office on 5/4/2023 at 1:00 PM, and I would advise anyone who values good customer service and basic human decency to avoid dealing with this particular employee.

Wendy Kristina: This is a special "Thank you!" specifically for Terry. A month ago a package was designated as delivered to my post office box according to the tracking. However when I went to pick it up it couldn't be located. After 30 minutes of searching, Terry called me to let me know it can been found and I went to pick it up. I realize scenarios like this can happen from time to time but I was really stressed out in the moment. It was an especially small package (birthday present) and apparently was misplaced momentarily. I am very thankful to Terry for going the extra mile to locate it within the office. He is always friendly and provides great customer service!
L K: I have had packages coming through this post office containing prescriptions from my mail order pharmacy get lost or delivered to the wrong address (many miles away) and signed for by people who are not me. Very shady and illegal. They will also leave notices in my mailbox saying they tried to deliver a package and there was nobody home to sign for it (not true). Then they want me to sign for the package and leave the signed slip in the mailbox. If I do this, then the package (again, mail order pharmacy required by my insurance) is not delivered.

Clark Nichols: My new mail carrier from this location is a liar. My tracking shows the package was delivered at the mailbox. I call customer service and they contact the courier. She goes back to check and says it wasn’t put in the wrong mailbox, and that it’s stolen. This is a flat out lie, because our mailboxes are individually locked. So she either locked the package in someone else’s mailbox and they kept it, or she lost the package and lied to cover herself. USPS won’t give me a refund because it was sent first class, so now I’m out $46 thanks to their mistake they won’t own up to. First issue through countless packages, but highly dissapointed in their integrity.

Shelley Lawrence: I had a great experience at this post office. Came in with an issue about certified mail and everyone was polite and helpful. Naturally, a line of people came in after me and at most post offices they would have rushed you out, perhaps even without solving your problem. In this case, I did need a managers approval for something, and both Terry and Dave were very helpful and understanding. They resolved my issue and were so pleasant to deal with. The other counter service staff also seemed polite and friendly even though it was busy. Great team!
