She worked with me to make sure the mask fit and was was put on correctly. She was interesting and informative. I am excited to use my new machine tonight.

My elderly mother is 5’5” so this chair is too large and does not fit her posture making sitting extremely uncomfortable. My mother sat in chair apx. 4 hours then had to go to her bed for comfort.Since my mother only income is social security, she had to wait on stimulus check before purchasing a new lift chair. Mom had purchased a lift chair some years ago years from Raleigh Medical. We recently had to make couple repairs where we purchased parts from Raleigh Medical, so Raleigh Medical is familiar with what type of chair my home bound mother needed. When my brother went into Raleigh Medical, owner who was preoccupied with Phone call told my brother chair would be okay for Mom( of course now owner says he told my brother it would not work, but my brother bought for my mom with her stimulus money any way..who buys an $1100.00 chair that will not fit esp. when there is a No refund policy due to pandemic)?Now the owner of Raleigh Medical will Not even exchange chair for correct size.Owner told my 89 year old motherto sell chair online. Really....On Raleigh Medical’s website theywrite of customer service and how they stand behind their product which is a FALSE statement. They hide behind the Pandemic for no exchanges. Mom called Raleigh Medical day after delivery to let know chair not rightsize/fit and she could not comfortably sit in chair. Most places allow 3 day return or exchange policy but NOT Raleigh Medical. They have lost sight of true compassion and understanding for the elderly. My mother goes from bed to chair to bed . At 89 years old,Her chair and bed are her only comfortI am extremely saddened that my mother at 89 is having to deal with this situation and sit in her older broken chair until she sells this chair online. Raleigh Medical owners have No Heart, Compassion or upstanding ethics. Stay away from Raleigh Medical Supply located behind blue ridge pharmacyon blue ridge rd. Raleigh. Go to store where they Genuinely care!

I went there because it was the closest medical supply store to my house & I had to take an Uber there (I couldn't drive due to my fractured ankle).Later, a friend commented that I'd been WAY overcharged and, sure enough, when I called the other medical supply stores in Raleigh, their prices were much lower. I could've PURCHASED the exact same equipment on Amazon for what they charged me to rent it!Today, I went there planning to get some compression hose & the owner told me that they don't accept my insurance for payment (Tricare Military Retirees' insurance); in fact, he said that they've NEVER accepted it, which is untrue because I've used it there before.If the owner of Raleigh Medical Supply is not supportive enough of military members & retirees to accept their insurance (any longer), he'll NEVER get my business! I will gladly go elsewhere!
Maxine Parker: I called Raleigh Medical Supply in search of a pack of DuoDERM bandages. I was quoted less than $12.00 for a pack of 5. When I arrived, I requested the pack. I noticed a price tag on the box for $13.95 I think. The lady rings it up and tells me that will be $66. and something! I asked her to repeat it because I just couldn’t believe she tried to charge me so much for a pack of bandages. I kindly said “No Ma’am. I’ll order them from Amazon (at a total cost of $13.35). I have made a few purchases here, and the prices were fair; that’s why I returned for the bandages. This is definitely price gouging, and very disappointing. I will not be making anymore purchases from this establishment.

George Dunbar: Rented a medical leg scooter for my wife’s broken ankle. Looks like they run around $125.00 to purchase on the internet. Rental was $30.00 per week or $90.00 per month which is already steep. They recommended we rent for a month and would give us a credit when we return it if we didn’t need it for the month. We returned it after 8 days and were charged $60.00. That was $30.00 for the first week and $30.00 for the extra day. When we asked about it they told us they didn’t prorate beyond weekly. Of course, that was not mentioned when we rented it or we would have returned it a day earlier. Not the kind of business I will choose to do business with in the future. From now on, I will look elsewhere to rent. Be sure to read all the fine print and ask all the questions up front.
Daniel: Horrible customer service...especially the older man at that location. I recently ruptured my Achilles' tendon and purchased a product that I believed was the right one for my foot.However, when I went back to my podiatrist, he told me it was the wrong one and I needed a boot walker instead. Less than 24 hrs, I called before I went by that location and specifically asked if I can return the item, but the man said I could not return the item due to a sanitation regulation that they have to follow which is right in his part. I did not argue because of that reason. I argued because I wore it once in the same location to fit my size and thats it! So, I called the manufactures company and explained my story and they gladly told me I can return the item, not receive a penalty charge, and get back my credit. Well that was just a fairy tale answer because when I went back with this excruciating pain due to my rupture Achilles' tendon, the older gentlemen gave me a huge problem about returning the item. Not only I paid for the item he also gave me an additional $25 fee based on a Returned check!? He also looked at me offensively in a way where I had no $ and to be honest he threatened me to go to the magistrate if I did not pay the item after the manufacture company called them specifically and spoke to that man ! Not cool! In conclusion, my opinion based on my experience with this location I can write that Raleigh Medical Supply needs immediately new manangement because a customer is always right and not to mention a customer should never be threatened,mistreated, or judged in any way! This store should not receive 1 star but ZERO STARS!
amanda stoughton: I purchased an ankle walker for a torn ligament injury. After two days I asked to return the unusual walker. My podiatrist did not recommend the one I purchased. I called to see if I could receive a refund or store credit and was told they would not take back the unused item. They claimed once the item left it was not allowed to be returned. I understand if this were prescription drugs, but an item which was unused should be at least returned for store credit . I am disappointed with they would not accommodate the customer in any way. $100 is quite a bit of money for a teacher, and it is frustrating when there was no help from the medical supply store.

It indicates they have shoes in stock and looks like they have inventory in stock, We went in and the man who works in there looked and me and my husband and never spoke or offered to help. I asked if he had walking canes with seats and he curtly responded no. I asked about shoes in stock and he said no shoes in stock, only order shoes. Very unfriendly and unprofessional!

basel mujarkesh: Stay away from this company. I canceled my order and they still charge my card and shipped the item. To return it and get a refund I had to go through hell and I had to pay to ship it back.

Needless to say, a part must be ordered, which is understandable, but now they are asking for another $125 service call. If the part ordered does not fix the issue, I must pay another fee. This is coming from the supervisor of the company named Joe. They now operate under a company called Delstal, too. Customers should not be penalized for the company's lack of knowledge.

Tina Millard: I called and ordered an external transformer for my pride lift chair that my father needed to use do to having knee replacement surgery. The guy I talked to told me he found the part. This was on a Thursday. I told him I wanted it express shipped. He said it would be there by Friday no later than Saturday. Monday comes around and still no part. So I call and ask. I was told they part he told me was coming wasn't available and they would find me another part. I said fine. They find the part and ship it express and it ends up being the wrong part. So that's $60. For the wrong part and $70. For next day shipping on a part that took 5 days to get. Now they are telling me they will refund the $60. For the part but I have to eat the $70. And pay to ship the wrong part back to them. Do not deal with this company. Also almost every person I spoke with on the phone was rude. I even asked to speak to a manager and still got no satisfaction. Worst customer service I have ever had and at the worst time possible for our families situation.

Christine Ritter: EXCELLENT customer service provided by MED. I had a total hip replacement and contacted the company to see if they could provide both a walker and a 3 in 1 commode. Not only did they provide me with these critical pieces of equipment, they delivered them the same day to my house before I came home from the hospital. The equipment itself is high quality, and they were able to work with my insurance to get a favorable outcome. I highly recommend this company for any home medical needs you have and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
Doug Helmink: I had an ankle replacement which required me to have a knee scooter, I was not allowed to put weight on my foot (ankle) for a whole month. I of course waited for the last minute to get a device not realizing how important it would be and medical equipment distributors really came through immediately. I can’t say enough about them because I needed that scooter and realized I should’ve planned ahead and they came Thru. It’s almost as if medical equipment distributors knew I was not going to do what I needed to do and planned ahead for me. Thank goodness for them!
Robbie Armistead: I had my hip replaced in July. The MED team was extremely helpful in my initial recovery. Their staff was most helpful when it came to my insurance as well as the installation of a bed for our downstairs. They were prompt and courteous in the delivery/pickup of their equipment. I highly recommend them when it comes to any ambulatory issues you may be dealing with.

When I was discharged from the hospital I was given a script for a wheelchair. After more than a month they had not provided it. Then the company I was using for therapy helped me to get the rollator walker to me. That was a couple of months ago. My doctor sent the paperwork to them on June 23,2021. After more than a month of trying to get paperwork to be sent to doctor. Now I still don’t have the walker. After my involving the doc, the therapist, and all. Now they call me and say they would SEND it to me!!! They have delivery drivers but I guess I’m not that important They said they were going to deliver it to me but I didn’t call back immediately. Seems to me they could deliver it tomorrow instead of mailing it But that would mean they would have done the right thing. I have never encountered such rude people. The person who actually spoke to me on the phone actually yelled at me because she didn’t want to hear my letting her know when the doc sent papers. I’ll admit I was not in the best frame of mind. But there was no reason for this. These folks are so very very very rude and hateful. If I ever need equipment from a equipment company and my therapy co uses them, then I will drop the therapy co and go somewhere else. If the therapy company doesn’t care about the patients and getting the equipment, then that tells me they don’t really care about their patients. Won’t use either of them again
Jeff King: GREAT EXPERIENCE... My mother is 85 yrs. old and at this point in her life I am either helping or making most decisions for her. The toughest are with her health care. In the last year I have purchased a Walker / Rollator in addition to a Oximetry to read her oxygen levels. The staff were always very polite, courteous and willing to help. I especially appreciated the timeliness in which they returned my phone calls. Lonnie McNeill: I have worked with Medical Equipment Distributors for numerous occasions. A walker for my 80 year old mother. When my 80 year old Mother in law came to stay with me for a knee replacement, MED supplied a hospital bed, a walker, bedside potty, shower chair and they even made the suggestion of a rolling adjustable table that she could use for her book, glasses, etc while in bed, and we used as a “TV table” for meals. I wouldn’t have thought of this idea, and was so thankful! In addition, my 80 year old husband (LOL just kidding not 80) had 2 knee replacements and both times MED supplied shower chair and walker. Office personnel and delivery person were very helpful

He was completely immobilized and was given the run around about the wheelchair and then 8 months later was delivered the WRONG chair on the day he passed. James Utru: Customer services is non existent. I called twice. First time, to ask for trach supplies and was told they don't carry them. Called second time to ask the CRS lady to share the information that they should resubmit their information to medicaid and she said they are unable to correct this and that it's medicaid's fault but I said, Perhaps you should share this information with your boss and after a few frustrating back and forths, she said "okay" sarcastically. I told her I'd post it on the FB page and she shouted "SIR!" This indicated to me that she's irate and not about to be a good CSR so I hung up. 2.7 star rating is clear, the company structure/leadership doesn't care about the customers and public they serve because in most companies, the CSRs operate in the same manner as the company leadership permits. Based on my personal experiences, customers can EXPECT to be disrespected and treated as if they are begging a stranger for a favor instead of doing business. I hope this review helps someone in their consideration of this company. I am a single father of a special needs child and have no time to be treated disrespectfully when trying to do business with a company.
