Jennifer Pickett: We had a great time at the show. We laughed and enjoyed the clues and mystery. The actors were fun to interact with. The food is about what you would expect from an Embassy Suites, some items were better than others. We got a drink at the cash bar. Salad, meat and cheese tray, bread, entree, and dessert were included. Sweet tea and water were also on the table. I would recommend it for a fun outing. They did ask for reviews to get a shot glass but made it clear they did not have to be positive. I did not want a shot glass but wanted to support this fun theater/improv event!

Nick DeMarco: I hadn't been to RT in a while. It used to be much nicer. The whole experience was meh-minus. The restaurant was unclean, and I could see broken plaster on the walls. My chicken sandwich was boring and hastily assembled. The fries were cold. Not 'not hot' or 'warm' but COLD. Who does that? The server was clearly overworked. I felt really bad for her. I tipped well, even though the experience was a big disappointment. RT used to be a stable place for a few beers and decent food. I think their management has taken their eye off the ball. Shake it up. Raleigh needs reliable downtown entertainment spots. See my review of Beasley's - but that's not a 'watering hole' spend-the-evening kind of place.

R. E.: Went last night around 8pm. The food took awhile to come out and when it did it was lukewarm and undercooked. Had to wait at our table for about 20 minutes before being greeted by a waitress and only saw her when she took our order and brought our food. Wasn’t even offered a menu just a QR code for an online menu. Good thing no one left their phones I guess. Not once did anyone check on us, asked if we wanted refills, desert, or anything else. It didn’t appear to be busy. Friend asked for a condiment from another staff member and was ignored. The service was atrocious and the food was lacking. Won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend.
Phil “Philly” Farrell: Good people, good times. We chatted w/ a couple of people & laughed w/ some others. Friendly patrons, great staff. They have live music on Tuesday nights. It's upstairs and it's a tight space. Since that bar handles the 2nd floor & the outside area the staff is busy so be patient.Wheelchair accessibility: No access to the 2nd floor or rooftop seating. But they have outside seating on the sidewalk.
Mike Kanakos: Very good food, awesome roof top dining. The night we went (Friday Eve at peak time) had us waiting pretty long for food. But honestly it was great time.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Jackie Tingen: Raleigh Times is one of those places you go to knowing you'll have great service and good food. It never lets you down. I'm so glad they have opened the upstairs more permanently as my biggest complaint was always that there was no place to sit. That's changed since they opened the upstairs and the rooftop patio is the perfect place for a meal when its not extremely hot or cold. Be sure to try the salmon fried rice and the mozzarella sticks. My two favorite items on the menu!

Jeremy Hile-Hoffer: Went for Father's Day with the wife and son... I don't know if they forgot about my wife's order but we waited almost an hour and Jax and I both had burgers. They were not even warm and definitely not the medium rare that we asked for. We requested crispy french fries, they came out soggy and Luke warm. My first beer was flat and warm as well and they weren't even full pours. Our waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was great but for some reason they just couldn't get it together today. We went towards the end of the busy lunch time so maybe it was a shift change and we need to give it another try, but for a Father's Day burger and beer event it was super disappointing.

Kim Gallaway: We had a great time! Our server was Dee, and she was the best server I've had in forever.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Oliver Lett: Flower was the best waitress we could have asked for. She's so intelligent and engaging. The atmosphere is enough to get you excited for the food, but she added some special magic to the experience. She deserves the best/ even a raise or promotion!! 15/10 experience ❤️Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
jillian harvell: I usually always have a good experience here, but yesterday really has me questioning if I’d want to come back here. We had a reservation for 4, got sat around 4:10, didn’t see our waitress until 4:30. There were two other tables sat after us that received drinks and even the start of their meal before we even saw our waitress. No apologies were given for the wait, ordered everything all at once when she came. Finally got drinks about ten minutes later, wasn’t until around 5 when we actually got the first course. She brought everything out already premixed which was odd, every other time I’ve been they mix it all in front of you explaining what’s all in it and make a show out of it. For what you pay here between the slow service, not even getting the full usual experience, and just the lack of enthusiasm or energy from our waitress, it really was not worth it the time. On top of that, the entire time we listened to employees yell, laugh and talk from the back with total disregard to people trying to enjoy their dinner. One of the other waiters did check in on us during our meal, asking if there were any extras we needed which we were grateful for because our waitress didn’t really check in after dropping our premixed stuff off. Our drinks were empty for 10+ minutes at a time, and we were sitting a long time in between courses waiting. Usually the staff is super attentive and friendly and put on a good show, but yesterday was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had there. Disappointed and feel like I overpayed for an experience that wasn’t good at all.
Thelma Borbas: Our server, Flower, was amazing! Guided us through everything and full of funny stories and anecdotes. We chose the Pacific rim and the steak platter as our entrees. Yummy! So much food, but just a bit at a time. First course was cheese. We chose Quattro Formaggio. So delish! They brought bread, veggies and apples to dip in the cheese. Next course was salad. They allow enough time between courses that you're not rushed. We were there for about 3 hours. The entree course was next. You cook your own food! 😮 Steak platter had three different types of steak, while the Pacific rim had tuna, duck breast, shrimp, steak, and pot stickers. They also brought veggies with it. They do allow you to take leftovers home but you have to cook them before you leave. Finally, dessert! We chose bananas foster, which were flambeed right there. So cool! It tasted like a cinnamon roll. When we go back, we will definitely have to try chocolate!! They brought rice krispies, Oreo covered marshmallows, brownies, Blondies, angel food cake, bananas & strawberries to dip. Amazing meal!!!
Madison Fulghum: I liked the atmosphere and the employees were very friendly. I just wished they would come by the table a little more often.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Dipping Sauces, Cheese Fondue, Caesar Salad …More
Asylum Darkness: Just such a great experience! My gf and I came here with our friends and it was like no other. My gf and I shared the Bigger Night Out For Two, and it was all just so delicious. The teriyaki steak was out of this world. And the chocolate fondue, amazing. The presentation of the Yin Yang is so cool, the Flaming Turtle and the Banana one were out of this world. On top of that, our server Flower (I hope I'm not misspelling it!) Gave us the best service I think I've ever had anywhere. She was so bubbly and conversive with us, we never needed anything she was always on top of it, overall improved our experience ten-fold. I recommend this to anyone and everyone, even though it's a little expensive (our bill for my gf, myself and the two kids) came out to roughly $260 with tip and all, but I promise it was worth every penny!

Ashley Morgan: Best service! Very clean!!
Hannah Rhodes: As someone who is lactose intolerant, the cramps will be worth it. The cheese was absolutely fantastic! We got the spinach artichoke and aged cheddar, which came with bread, celery, apples, and carrots. The food was also delicious, and I enjoyed boiling and grilling my own food. Our server, Riley, was also amazing and recommended great items on the menu since it was our first time.
Natalia Arango Geraldino: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Stacy Meyers: Old restaurant, not very clean. The food was just ok and the service wasn't great. Wasn't worth the expense. Darn.Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Luisa Medina: The whole concept of this place is really neat. However, there’s definitely room for improvement. First off way overpriced. We spent almost $180 for just two people (including the tío for the waiter). This restaurant is not fancy, therefore shouldn’t have those “fancy” prices”. People were literally showing up in sweatpants… Second, the bread was not fresh. It was hard and gross. Plus, the vegetables were definitely still cold and still defrosting. I do love the dessert part if the dinner. However, the brownies and cookies were definitely not fresh. Overall, the quality of the food does not fit the price.
andriablaze: Surprised by the many vegan options (both cheese and chocolate) and so good!
Nathan Rice: Took my wife here for her birthday. The ambience is nothing special. Drinks were sub par. Food was alright, but there was no salt on the table and the meats were unseasoned. Service was alright, until we ended up waiting for our checks for 30 minutes at the end. There was nothing special about this place and it certainly was not worth $130 for us both.
G M Fite: My wife loves to visit The Melting Pot for her birthday. This year was no exception. We had a party of 4 each couple's bill exceeded $150.00. We all concluded that the service was terrible, the filet mignon was tough & chewy (certainly not filet). The cheese fondue included 2 small pieces of cauliflower, a handle full of baby carrots, along with bread there was celery....[what a cheap excuse] I mean really!? How many times a week does 1 sit and think "boy! Sure could go for dipping some celery into some hot cheese."We came to the conclusion; the price verses quality, service & atmosphere nowhere near add up to an enjoyable evening therefore we will no longer be dining at The Melting Pot & that's unfortunate.
Connie Rhodes Rummel: We chose to celebrate Mother’s Day Saturday night and made a reservation two months in advance at the Durham, NC location. Apparently it doesn’t matter if you make a reservation as we still had to wait 50mins for our table to be ready. (Reservation at 6:45pm, finally sat down at 7:35pm) many other reservations had similar experiences as ours, so obviously management has no idea how to schedule staffing and reservations. While our server was an absolute Angel, the overall service left much to be desired. We had to ask for silverware and napkins multiple times, having to use the fondue forks for the cheese course only receiving forks and napkins with our salads, only after someone delivered our entree asking if everything ok with our salads.Overall service was slow, understanding the experience (this was not our first time at melting pot) what is typically a 2hr dinner, turned into a 4hr dinner, with us leaving the restaurant at 10:45pm.I sincerely hope the Raleigh location has better service, as the Durham location needs a closer look at capacity and service times.
Karen Rooks: It was very pleasurable, but we got check at the start of the dessert fondue. Never checked on our refills.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Dark Chocolate Fondue …More
tyrral quinn: There were flies everywhere. The place smelled like old mop water. I don’t have any problem with the service. Seemed to be short staffed. Tipped well.
Jeff Struggles: I decided to come here for my birthday 5/4 and for this being my first time I didn’t know what to expect but I was on Positive Vibes soon as I pulled in the parking lot. Walked in excited and was greeted right away, my guest and I got a drink from the bar while they was getting our table ready. Then we sat down and we met KEARSTIN R. And she made my/our experience INCREDIBLE. Her energy was great answered our questions, very informative and easy to talk to. Personally I don’t know how to cook but it was so fun for me feeling like a big time chef lol. Dessert was my favorite part, Flaming turtle is what we ordered and it was perfect. Awesome experience and we will be back.
Tyler Rickert: Had an awesome experience! Dee was awesome!

Taverna Agora Greek Kitchen & Bar: what do users think?
Jason Mic: This place could be so much better. The table salad was good but hard to get wrong unless it had rotten tomatoes. The seafood pasta was bland and all the seafood was freezer burned. I asked for Parmesan cheese to make it taste better and was charged for it. You can get free table side Parmesan in every cheap American pizza place in the country. You really could have been so much better. Work on it or change management.
Rafa Mejia: We celebrated my in-laws anniversary here and we all had a good time. Everyone loved their food, but not as much as my wife and I! We ordered the Greek dinner that comes with a variety of tasty delights. I love tzatziki sauce and this plate came with a bowl full of it. The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. Check it out, it’s a great spot for the family or a nice date.

Chelsea Hoag: I have loved this restaurant for many years and have always bragged about how good the food is to friends. Tonight I cannot express the same sentiments. My husband and I each ordered wine, a cheese board, and tagliatelle bolognese. The wine and cheese were on par, but the tagliatelle bolognese was disappointing. This is my go to dish and it was not made correctly. The noodles were sticking together and the gravy was much more creamy than usual. It is usually more meaty and red, but tonight it was a lighter red/pink. I chalked that up to the chef on staff tonight, but my opinion shifted when we received our dessert. We ordered a traditional slice of cheesecake, which was $11! When it was brought out to our table, it was blindingly obvious it was store bought and not homemade. It tasted just like Target's Favorite Day brand cheesecake and was tiny! For the price we were charged, this was very disappointing. My husband and I also both noted that the restaurant was very empty compared to when we have visited in the past and I think for a Saturday night, that speaks to the change in quality of their food. We love Italian and both noted that we would be going to Cafe Luna next time. I hope changes are made because I used to really love this restaurant.

Falan E: I dropped in one evening while in the area. No real plans to come here, just famished. The service here is great. My waiter was Nate. Nate did a great job checking in often and keeping me hydrated anytime my glass of water was low. The restaurant is clean. Very comfortable seating here. The food was okay. I feel the best thing was the garlic knots and fettucini alfredo. My all-time favorite and go-to Italian - American style entree order is the chicken parmesan & fettuccini alfredo. I love the white and red sauce together. I guess this wasn't understood and the chicken parm wasn't marinated properly. I had to do the work of getting the red sauce over my chicken by asking for extra gravy. The chicken parmesan was flavored well.Overall: The calamari appetizer had a great flavor but the batter was not coated well and it fell off. I do feel calamari and the chicken was perhaps cooked too fast. I felt the inside of the chicken texture was weird for me which came from cooking too fast. The same for the risotto ball appetizer- - cooked too fast! These were Fried Arborio rice stuffed with fontina served over gravy (tomato sauce). The flavor was everything and I enjoyed that part but everything seemed to be cooked too fast. The rice stuffed in the balls wasn't piping hot like the external.Gravy didn't win my heart this time.I guess I may need to try one of the more popular dishes. I felt it was hard to mess up Chicken Parm, but for me, it fell short here.

Jeremy “Japarican” Cummins: Honestly. This was the most disappointing trip to any steakhouse I've ever been to. I ordered a Medium Porterhouse and it came out well done the first time still mooing at me the second time barely even seared and it was barely a decent medium by the time it came out for the 3rd time. Our Lobster Mac and Cheese looked like it was microwaved and put under a heat lamp for the entirety of the rest of the food being prepared. Didnt even get to try the asparagus that I ordered because they gave it to the wrong person. All the food looked good, but the flavor and textures were just off. The Beef Wellington Bites were good and the, what i think, was the Spicy Shrimp Eggrolls we got were good. But took basically 45 minutes to even get our food, so i waited well over an hour for my finally edible steak. Needless to say 9/10 we will NOT be back. Oh and it took another like 30 minutes for us to even get our checks after asking. What should have been a 1.5 hour dinner took us almost 3 hours and it was not fun.
GG R: UNDERWHELMEDI'm questioning ALL the 5 star reviews and what people find exceptional about this particular location. Sullivans in Chicago is much more upscale w impeccable service. This location was a huge let down not only from a service level you'd expect at a place like this but also in the food presentation. Our waitress was nice, friendly and accommodating but def not the level of service I would anticipate or expect from a restaurant of this caliber. For context: We came here for a GNO celebrating 2 bdays, group of 4. First and foremost I’d say the 1st 10 mins after being seated and how you are treated is going to determine how great or not so great your service will be. 1st, after what seemed like a good 30 mins our waitress finally came to the table. WE had to ask for the wine list. This should be given at the time you are seated esp since you have to wait forever just to place your order. I’d say it took a good hour just to get a drink, we ordered WINE?! After a good 2.5 hours or more of waiting, we finally got our food. While the food was delicious the presentation was dismal and off putting. Not even appetizing to look at, at all. The “Happy Birthday” cheesecake plate was beautiful and a nice surprise; however, I got it to go bcuz my meal came w a dessert. The way they boxed it go was again a complete fail. Took our waitress after several discussions and going back and forth to get our bills correct. That was at least a good 20-30 min issue that I couldn’t understand. Overall while a few things were ok, I will def not be coming back to this location. IMO they need to drastically level up their service and presentation. You can tell there is absolutely NO pride here in the kitchen or from a service level at all.
Keri Warner: My first experience at Sullivan's. We had heard the hype about how good the food was, and since my daughter is a steak lover, we decided that this would be perfect place for her 16th birthday dinner. We hired a limo and went all out. My first mistake was not realizing that even on a Sunday evening the bar next door would have their music pumping so loud that we literally could not have a conversation at our table. On top of the obnoxiously loud thumping noises, our service was terrible. Having been in the service industry for many years myself, I know what is hard and what is not hard work. This was a Sunday evening and this place was by no means busy but our server was apparently having issues and could not attend to our table as necessary. I hate to dis such a well spoken of establishment, but I can honestly say I won't go back and I will not recommend this place to anyone. There are far better places to enjoy my time and money at.

AngB: I've been to Sullivan's many times and it was amazing but we recently met some friends there and unfortunately, it was not good across the whole table. Steak returned 2xs because it was not cooked properly, side dish was extremely salty, salmon thin, cold, dry and tiny portion. Even the second time they brought it out, same problem and had tail portion again. I thought that was odd. Do they only have tail pieces of salmon? The lamb was tiny portions and dried out. We all were totally stunned as we had such good meals prior. For the price I paid, I expected way mote. Not the Sullivan's I know anymore!
Joshua Nelson: We are not a rich family, so going to Sullivans was supposed to be an extremely nice treat for two of my kid's birthdays. It did not go how we had hoped. My wife, kids and I dined in for dinner and sat down around 4:45pm. There was only one other table (two people) in the entire large dining room when we arrived. It took 2 hours from the time we arrived, until my children received their dessert and we were able to leave. What could possibly take that long with almost no other customers? Our entrées arrived in stages, instead of all at once. The waiter was professional, but there was a couple of inconsistencies. He claimed our children's meals did not come with drinks, but said he would give them some for free. He also stated their meals did not come with dessert, but since we were celebrating a birthday he would get them some dessert on the house as well. When I double checked the kid's menu, it stated that all kid's meals come with a drink and ice cream. So we were being given something for free that was suppossed to be part of their meal? My wife ordered the dry aged, bone-in ribeye. She ordered medium rare and the middle was cooked correctly, but the outer ring was closer to well done. Side note: I understand it is called the "Long Bone" Ribeye, but it was advertised as 28oz and when it arrived, the bone was so big it accounted for maybe half the advertised weight. That is a $95 steak! (Again, very rare dining experience for us) My sea scallops were barely warm on arrival and had to be sent back. The lobster in the mashed potatoes was VERY overcooked. All things considered, we did not get anywhere close to the $269 price tag we paid. This was an unfortunate experience.

Zachary Dennett: Even medium quality Middle Eastern food is delightful. The mezzes hit the mark. We very much enjoyed. The chicken and lamb in my mixed grill was a bit dry and flavorless. The service was slow but perfectly friendly.
Jeff Langenderfer: We chose this restaurant for our 29th anniversary dinner and were really looking forward to some exciting and interesting Lebanese cuisine. The service was quite relaxed throughout, and though the restaurant wasn't crowded, it was pretty busy for a Sunday evening. Drinks and appetizers took nearly a half hour to arrive, but we were rewarded with beef bacon wrapped dates that were a promising beginning, with rich bacon flavor complimented by the pomegranate drizzle and goat cheese stuffing. Very nice. That turned out to be the peak of the food experience. The Lebanese curry with lamb arrived some 40 minutes later lukewarm and remarkably bland. I can't recall a less flavorful curry, understated and under-seasoned. The mixed grilled kabobs were similarly uninspiring, with beef bits served medium well and correspondingly dry, kaftan pieces apparently salt-free, alongside moist and flavorful chicken chunks. The accompanying rice was nicely flavored, but 1 out of 3 tasty meats and good rice does not make anyone say wow. The garlic whip side added some good flavor, but not enough to compensate for the bland meat. Overall, this was pretty much the most underwhelming $100 dinner for two I've ever had. Nothing was bad, but I expected to be impressed and I definitely wasn't. Meh

Robin Mehera: It was a warm Saturday afternoon. We were in the mood for a healthy lunch in downtown. So came to this staple spot in downtown.Upon entry they have a host stand and were sat right away. The place is huge with plenty of seating, a small bar and a downstairs which is great for private events. They provide a ton of bread and some olive oil, however it needs some vinegar so a bit bland.Their salads and rice dishes are good, but their wraps are not the best. They provide a ton of thick bread and little protein.Because of the bland flavor and excessive amount of bread, I give this place a 3-3.5.
Allan Voichuk: Great Mediterranean food. The vegan options are really good too. The pita bread was some of the best I've had.Vegetarian options: Lots of great vegan and vegetarian food choices.Dietary restrictions: Good for vegans and vegetarians.

Helen J.: Service is good. Food is NOT! The cooks need to be retrained by the family on Lebanese cooking. How do you mess up falafel or a shawarma sandwich? Sassoul is delicious if you want good food.
Jorge-Enrique Carvajal: We were at the restaurant 4 of us on June 24 at 4:00 pm. finished at 5:50 pm. We where siting at the kitchen window next to the grill and I can see our food getting cold and old at the expediter window. When the server brought the food to the table it was cold. The desert Astha was with no presentation and no flavor at all. The server didn’t check with us if we need anything else, we get up and look for the server to pay for the meal.
