Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi: what do users think?
Christian Labbe: Susan's classes are good for the mind, body, and soul – well paced, relaxing, graceful, and enlightening. My partner and I have been taking online classes with Susan for over a year. Each class feels fresh, and has something new. Susan is my favorite instructor after having taken classes in four other martial arts. A great instructor makes any style of martial arts great.
Debbie Berg: The classes at Body & Brain have helped me improve strength, balance, and confidence! Susan, the instructor, does an excellent job walking us through the movements. Very positive class and experience!
ben clarke: I love their yoga and tai chi classes because there is such a focus on wellness and healing, as well as community and connection. The teacher is knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. I just feel amazing after class and throughout my week!
Sandy: I am grateful for every class I take from Susan at Body & Brain. I always without a doubt feel better at the end of class than at the beginning. I joined about six months ago wanting to learn about energy and to practice taichi, and have been doing so - but I have also been learning so much more than that. I've had nothing but positive experiences from this school, and Susan is the best teacher! Also, she makes the classes available to attend online, which is very convenient - I usually attend classes this way.
Cindy Brown: I initially set out looking for a Tai Chi class to help my 64 year old body with balance and strength but found so much more. The core strengthening and energy Yoga classes along with brain training and many great meditations has greatly improved my overall health. I highly recommend this journey.
Norma Joyner: I can’t say enough good things about Body and Brain and Susan. I have dealt with anxiety all my life. I has seen many therapist but the talking and meds only went so far. Body and Brain showed me how to take back my brain and my body. For the first time in my life, I am able to control my thoughts and therefore able to better control my emotions. It has been life changing and my entire family not only sees the difference but benefits from it.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to find some peace and happiness.
Jacqueline Arguelles: I have been part of the Body & Brain family for more than 2 years. This practice has helped me in so many ways but the most important have been finding, connecting and loving myself. And by this, been able to share this love everywhere without judgment and limits. I live in Miami, however, participate and take my classes online with the Body & Brain family from Raleigh. Love the energy, feel the love and really enjoy how Master JiMo gives the classes. She is very detailed and her knowledge and passion are wonderful. Kamsahamnida.
June Chen: I have been taking classes from Ms Jimo (director of Body &Brain Raleigh center ) over a year. My brain feels much calmer, my body feels more flexible and stronger. Jimo is always very punctual, her classes are versatile, I love them!
I'm Stupid: Love coming to class here! I came just to get better balance and flexibility but my level of body awareness has risen dramatically as has my mindfulness. Susan is an amazing instructor 💙💚💜❤️
Gaby Caballero: Body & Brain has been a BIG game changer for me. Since I've been attending for more than three years, I experienced so much improvement on my health and also my emotions. It's helps me a lot with the anxiety and energy levels. After each class I feel more balance, calm and strong. They have different types of classes so I never get bored + workshops are AMAZING. The recent hybrid model (remote and on site) makes it very accessible for me. Susan' class is one of my favorites, she is super nice, makes me feel peaceful, the exercises and meditations are great and fun too. Great school and philosophy, I am very happy to have found them!
Forrest Hinton: What a hidden gem! In looking around for new yoga studio, I found Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi. This is a truly unique place that works your body AND works your brain to create harmony. The exercises are not hard on your body and joints (no jumping around) but rather good stretching, vibrations and relaxation. In the month I have been going, the stress in my neck and shoulders has reduced. I feel more at peace.I would encourage you to try the sample class and see if it is right for you. You just might be surprised.
Destini Tecorya: Great instructor! I love the environment.
Julia Brown: My experience at Body & Brain has been wonderful. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I went for the first time but the instructor Susan was great and welcoming and I felt comfortable right away. I'm really enjoying learning more about my mind body connection, energy flow and movement. It's been such a unique and great experience so far and I'm looking forward to taking more classes. I highly recommend this place.
Barbara Rothenheber: I have been attending Body and Brain Yoga Tai Chi - Raleigh for about 3 years. Susan (JiMo) is a great instructor, she inspires as well as guides the class participants on a group and individual level. I especially like the stretching exercises, which work on all parts of the body. The calming influence and energy is found in the online classes as well as in studio classes and we can chose which type of class works best for us on a given day. This practice is great for me as an older individual with physical issues since Susan ensures that we do not feel the need to do more than we are ready to do in any class. The best part of is sharing your experience and good new with class mates at the end of every class; it is nice to keep the mind, body spirit loop going all day.
Jonathan Fabish: Body & Brain is a very different breed of yoga than you might find at the typical studio in Raleigh, and I mean this in the best of ways!I do enjoy a grueling hot yoga class or a slow yin class. But, at B&B, I feel restored and more deeply in tune with my energy after every class. I have felt improvements in my circulation, flexibility, and general awareness in a short time. You can feel new neural connections developing as the exercises challenge your balance and coordination. In the process, be prepared to laugh at yourself joyfully :)One of my favorite things about the style of practice is that it is highly sustainable. I can do it every day, knowing that the risk of injury is negligible. I'm confident that I am keeping myself young and drastically reducing the chance of future injuries. Also, Susan is professional and compassionate. You've got to try this place!
Frank J. Dalli: This Tai Chi class surprised me at how much it works and builds your core strength and energy. The movements are smooth but you are working much harder than you think while participating. Classes offer focus on stretching, balance, and coordination.
Laureen Petersen: I am so grateful to have the opportunity to visit Body & Brain North Carolina. The instructor; Susan is knowledgeable an extremely caring for her practitioners. Classes are flexible and very soothing and calming to the body. I struggled with some health issues until I joined body & brain yoga! The classes helped me to increase my energy and overall flexibility in my upper and lower extremities .What is amazing about body and brain it really doesn’t matter how old you are.If you are in need of exploring a sense of self-awareness, Body and Brain healing and peace of mind, I recommend you visit the center.
Kris B.: Susan was great, but this gives me cult vibes. I would really implore whoever is looking at this to Google "Body & Brain Yoga Cult" for your own understanding. I thought it was strange that the price of courses was not transparent. They provided them in 3 month, 6 month, and 1 year increments. 3 months is about $400, and if you can't afford to purchase it outright, you can put a "down payment" on it. I ended up not joining, though I did take an introductory class.I just didn't like how the founder was spoken about in a "higher than thou" kind of way, and the prices, to me, were a bit unreasonable. There aren't actual yoga poses like downward dog and sun salutations, but I would be lying if I said I didn't feel something during our meditation. Overall, I would certainly caution those away from this organization, but if it works for you, more power to you!
Ms. Anonymous: Excellent experience! Highly recommend.
Cheri Phillips: Positive:ProfessionalismA year ago I severely hurt my lower back. I tried physical therapy and even had two cortisone injections with very little relief. Once I started Body & Brain Tai Chi I have slowly been able to greatly improve my back pain! I highly recommend anyone of any age to give it a try, These classes help you body, mind and spirit.
Timothy Moore: I found Brain and Body Yoga Tai Chi several weeks ago after doing an online search for meditation practices in Raleigh. After my first introductory session, I got a membership and after my first couple classes, I was absolutely convinced I had made a wise choice. Susanleads classes that help you to stretch, improve your balance, strengthen your core, but also to destress and relax through breathing techniques. The classes are always instructive and at times push you to develop your physical capabilities and mindfulness. Susan is always keenly aware of proper body positioning to maintain safety as we practice. I highly recommend this studio.

When I have let go of all those minds, I've found my true self that is truly at peace and free! Thank you so much! The online meditation is amazing!

jung kim: Since I have to stay home i got more stressmore worry cause of everything is uncertain .No matter what i have to get used this situationThat made me so depressed and tired.I wanted to change my mind end up.Fortunately i found this online meditation .I tried better sleep meditation followed instruction. It was simple and easy method to follow and i feltbetter and lighter .Definitely i try again.
Younyoung Choi: I love Raleigh Meditation. The method is so simple and easy to follow. I can rest my mind there. People here are so nice and warm hearted. I highly recommend this place to everyone! Thank you Raleigh Meditation!
Mun Joo Jung: I have been dealing with so much added stress during these difficult times of late (as most everyone else has). Was in need of something positive in my life and found it here. They teach you how to calm the mind, relax and become more peaceful. I look forward to my daily meditation sessions and connecting with my instructor. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and take a moment to recommed this meditation to others as a helpful tool in dealing with these challenging times.
clark Church: Raleigh Meditation CenterThe first part of any new study for me has been to try to learn what I am to do, the purpose for that and the goal in mind. Some forty plus years ago I read much of an Indian master’s work. I eventually gave up on attempting to discover my essence. The reason for this was that the Master gave no method of how to do this. However, what the Master had written that could be realized I discovered in a book in the quite long title by another Master, Stop Living In This Land Go To the Everlasting World of Happiness and Live There Forever by Woo Myung. Through this book I realized immediately that if I wanted to solve my issue it was that I had to delve into myself through meditation with a guide. As I had tried it alone with limited success I soon realized that I needed help. It was at Raleigh Meditation that all of this came together.Life can be no cakewalk and perhaps that is why you are considering meditation—to find your essence or to resolve problems that have not been resolved with other disciplines. As one notable philosopher, Socrates said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.” So…if you are willing to confront yourself, ignore the naysayers for they are everywhere and realize the responsibility for your condition lies within you this meditation can change your life.
Jina: This meditation method has been great~ helping me to grow as a person, better relationships at work and with family. I would recommend going to this center because trying to meditate at home doesn't work as well as going to the center.
Alexandra Smith: very relaxing and positive experience
Ellen Moon: This is so nice method. That helpsmy relationship with my husband. We love this.
Brett Hightower: As a physician I often counsel patients who have stress as a factor in their ill health. I tell them that mediation is an important tool in calming a stressed and overactive nervous system. I have tried many times and many different methods over the years to follow my own advice but with limited success. Just sitting thinking about nothing didn't work for me. Focusing on a mantra was not much better. It wasn't until I discovered the subtraction method taught at Raleigh Meditation Center that I had success in making real changes to my peace of mind with regular practice. I enjoy the people and I find the format affordable and user-friendly. The Raleigh meditation center has been a wonderful and safe place to learn how to calm my mind and ease the stress of a busy life. I recommend it highly. -
colleen: I have been searching for a way to improve my life for many, many years. I tried various ways such as attending a variety of church services, learning yoga and going to eastern philosophy retreats. As the years passed, I did not have any success with those methods. I was looking after my family, and going to work each day, but I was still feeling rather unexcited about my life. By all accounts, I appeared to have a nice life, I lived in a nice house, my children were doing well in school, and I held a responsible position at work. However, I really wasn't very happy. One day, a friend invited me to the Raleigh Meditation seminar. Upon listening to the information about this unique way of meditating, which was different than anything I tried in the past, I was excited to begin practicing ''subtraction'' meditation. After nearly 3 years of doing this meditation, my mood has lifted, I have much less stress, I'm actually happy at work and at home, and I'm sleeping well. If you are like me, and are looking for clarity, happiness, inner peace and greater success in your life, I highly recommend this method for you. I found the essential element that was missing, and you can too!

Yoga Inspired: what do users think?
Erica Vogel: My absolute favorite experience at Yoga Inspired was the aerial yoga for beginners. A few of my friends and I signed up for a Sunday morning class and had an absolute blast learning the basics and hanging from the silks. I definitely recommend this as a girls day out - grab your girlfriends and go out for brunch afterwards. We had so much fun, and endless things to talk about after because it truly is such a unique experience. Also, I love that it isn't hot yoga! I feel like with all of the rage around hot yoga, it's nice to go to class, practice, and leave feeling like I can go out into the world without needing a shower first. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and people of all abilities can come to classes at Yoga Inspired and know that the teachers are ready for them.

It was a pleasure setting up logistics with him and the day of went really well. My friends and I loved the class - he went at a pace we were all comfortable with, offered modifications where needed, and led us through a soothing and energizing flow. Samantha Smith: Became a big fan of the studio very quickly. Very welcoming atmosphere and good vibes.

Gloria Hegarty: I love this yoga studio and that’s exactly what it is, a real studio which sticks to yoga and no other gimmicks. The owner is wonderful, and has such a heart for his clients. It’s a warm, comfortable and safe place to practice yoga with other like-minded yogis!!
Karen Bograd: Have been taking their Online classes during this trying times, and it has been a wonderful escape. I really needed time to myself, and a workout, and I am getting both. Thank you!
Ashley Katz: My absolute favorite yoga studio. The space is so clean and relaxing. The instructors make you feel comfortable and the fellow yogis are so welcoming.
Kayla Capitano: Not a fan of this studio. It wasn't very clean and staff was not friendly.
Rondi Goodman: Love yoga inspired. Calming, strengthening and peaceful practice here. As hard as you want and as gentle as you want. Warm and never stifling hot.
E R W: I hadn't done yoga in years and have been coming here for a couple of months. I've thoroughly enjoyed every instructor and class.
Emily Cochran: Enjoyed a drop-in class and their current BOGO deal! Will come back again.

Judith Valerie Yoga: what do users think?
artemis newman: I have been practicing yoga ( along with my very young 80 year old mother) with Judith for well over 14 years. Though in- person classes pre pandemic were ideal for correcting body and pose postures, Judith seamlessly transitioned to zoom classes during Covid so her students could stay engaged. I recently gifted a private lesson to my mother. Judith arrived with a lesson plan catering to our needs and we had a lovely hour of one on one attention with this outstanding yoga instructor. She is truly the very best. Treat yourself to a private ....such a nice way to revitalize and focus in the comforts of home.
Luiza Barteldes: Judith is a very knowledgeable and dedicated instructor, with a wonderful personality. She genuinely cares about her students. If you are looking for a great yoga teacher, look no further!
Jane Siarny: I am so glad that I found Judith’s zoom classes! I am able to join in from Chicago and hardly miss a week. Her clear directions, cues and inspiration, not to mention the invitation to have our voice is such a gift. After class I feel restored and rejuvenated. I have more energy to get through the rest of the week. As a yoga teacher myself I appreciate her balance of flow and strength building, focused lesson plans, all creating a supportive virtual community. Judith Valerie’s yoga is a safe haven in this busy world.
Suzy Greene: I have been a student of Judith’s since January 2020. I started in a live class that moved to Zoom with the pandemic. Her classes, interwoven with yoga, meditation, qi flow, peaceful music and more have helped me transition through this difficult time. Participation in her class leaves me with a sense of peace and relaxation. With her guidance, I feel that my yoga practice has improved. Though I have moved from the Raleigh area and am no longer able to attend Judith’s in-person class which has just restarted, I am able to continue to enjoy her teaching through Zoom. I highly recommend Judith Valerie Yoga.
Penny S: I have studied yoga with Judith for over two decades, in studio and for the past two years on ZOOM. The ZOOM classes are so convenient time wise in that we do not have to waste time in traffic to get to the studio. All we have to do is get our props, lay down our mats, take a deep breath and relax. And, we remain relaxed after class as we do not have to travel to our homes.Judith also gifts us videos to keep our yoga minds and bodies in shape in between ZOOM classes. I credit my flexibility of mind, body and spirit to the practice of yoga and to Judith’s knowledgeable, encouraging and inspired teaching and her ever fresh approach. Always bringing us back to ourselves and the moment while stretching and strengthening our spirits and bodies.Yoga is vital to my well being and, honestly, were it not that Judith offers classes via ZOOM, I would miss the fresh approach she brings to every session.Thank you Judith!
Kathryn Edwards: I have been taking classes with Judith for many years. Since the pandemic hit, her zoom classes have been especially beneficial to me. I am able to join from wherever I am and to keep up with my practice. In addition, she has generously offered class recordings and some videos addressing specific areas of practice for us to use at any time. The practice of yoga has been especially valuable to me as I have aged and have undergone two knee replacements. The rehab process was greatly accelerated by the degree of strength and balance I have achieved with yoga. While I do miss the in-person class experience, at this point in time zoom yoga is providing a valuable opportunity for me to continue with a guided practice. Judith is a gifted teacher and does an excellent job of making a remote yoga experience both convenient and rewarding.
Pamela Kinsey-Barker: I have been taking yoga for years with Judith but have especially enjoyed her Zoom classes and feel they have strengthened my commitment and improved my practice - taking it to a new level. The flexibility Zoom offers and participating in class in my own home has saved time, offered more classes, and added relaxation and meditation time. I now practice with Judith at least three times a week and enjoy greater flexibility, strength and mental health. Judith is a joy and Zoom gives me greater access to her! Namaste:)
Margaret Millett: Hello,I have been taking yoga with Judith Valerie for many years. She is an amazing teacher! She offers variety to her teaching and works with students to ensure they are "listening to their bodies" during their practice.
Ginny Fountain: See updates below!1/2/23Judith does a great job with Zoom yoga classes. She's been a lifesaver during the pandemic and I still enjoy her gentle yoga classes. Her natural way of teaching makes practicing enjoyable and beneficial. I hope you'll give her classesa try.First review:I've been taking yoga classes with Judith for several years now. It's the only exercise program I've ever stuck with and I think most of it is due to Judith's ability to instruct and be so helpful with the poses. I look forward to the classes and Judith is always warm and welcoming. She has a way of making you feel comfortable in your own skin and in your own body. She constantly gives you tidbits on what the poses do for your body, internally and externally. She gives us ways to make the positions more difficult if we want to stretch ourselves. I've had other yoga instructors, but Judith is my very favorite. I plan to get my husband to a class one day and I know she'll make him feel welcome and at ease. Thank you, Judith!Update on 7/31/21:Judith Valerie is not only a professional, friendly, patient yoga instructor, she has become my friend. I trust her to help me get what I need from her classes. She manages to teach many different body types and fitness levels without making anyone feel self conscious. Her class has made a positive influence on my well-being.She kept her classes going by using Zoom during the pandemic and she did a great job making us feel welcome and still part of a group. She's the best!Updated 12/8/21:I retired near the end of summer and it has taken me a bit of time to get my new freedom figured out. During this time, Judith's yoga classes thru Zoom have been there to help keep me centered. What a great Zoom yoga instructor she has become! Music is one of my favorite parts and she has made sure we have good music. Judith is patient and kind, as well as professional and knowledgeable about yoga and what's good for us. Please give her classes a try. You won't regret it!
Cindi Freeman: The professional quality of instructions offered on Judith's Zoom classes is wonderful! Each time I take a class with Judith there is at least one moment during class where I feel so good and so grateful to have a body. Her teaching methods are exceptional in how she creates a space in class that fosters a positive inner-dialogue between my thoughts and my body's abilities. Even during the more rigorous poses there is a language of kindness and gentleness that comes through Judith's clear and concise instructions. She is a masterful teacher.
Beverly Lovelace: 2022 update: Judith has been offering classes on Zoom during the pandemic. For me this has been great! When we are out of town, it’s still possible to attend classes — it doesn’t matter if you are physically in Raleigh, or not. It’s wonderful to enjoy a yoga class with Judith in the safety and comfort of your own home, wherever you are. Just roll out your yoga mat, grab your blocks, and sign onto Zoom!I have been taking Judith's Yoga classes for years and would highly recommend her. I started out with Gentle Yoga, and was not in good shape, I'd had back issues. However, even in the beginning, I felt better at the end of class. Over time, I found I could do the poses and hold the moves longer, that I felt better, lost weight, and my body looked even better. I moved to a "More Stretch" class which is designed for more serious Yogis, but still suitable for beginners, as Judith often offers "gentle" variations, so you can make the class suite you. If I can do it, you can do it! I feel as if I have been transformed! Besides the physical benefits, I found that my spirit and mind were calmer, and more serene. The North Raleigh Location at Temple Beth Or just up from Crabtree on Creedmoor Road is very convenient and spacious. Namaste!
Adina Middleman: Judith’s style is the perfect balance of rigor, relaxation, breath, balance and holistic body awareness. She adapted to Covid by offering on line zoom classes. I’m so glad I could continue with her during this crazy time when yoga has been so needed.
Nadine Haupt: Positive:Professionalism,QualityJudith's classes on Zoom have helped me stay consistent with my practice. I just LOVE yoga on Zoom - I light a candle and can set up my environment in a way that allows me to relax and enjoy my practice. You've got to try it!!
Diane Covington: Throughout Covid, in this time of isolation and fear, Judith has found a way, through Zoom yoga, to keep us all feeling connected with each other and strengthened ~ physically, mentally, and spiritually. I love bringing my close-knit yoga buddies into my living room each Tuesday evening.Diane Covington
Jon York: ZOOM YOGA!Update: 22 years of yoga with Judith. The pandemic has been challenging for all but Judith has gone with the flow (pun intended). Zoom yoga classes are great especially since you can participate without leaving your living room as long as you have a PC. As always, Judith provides thoughtful, caring instruction and demonstrations. Try a zoom class, you'll enjoy and benefit from it.I've been enjoying yoga with Judith for almost 19 years and always feel great afterwards. One of my coworkers remarked last week that I have "such great posture." I told her I was sure it was because I had been to yoga class the night before! Taking Judith's class has has helped become more aware of my body. I've noticed over the years that my posture has improved as have strength and flexibility. Yoga also has the excellent side effect of being calming and centering.
Jessica Weiss: I started taking yoga classes with Judith 4 years ago and it has been a fantastic experience! I had never really done yoga before joining her class and my practice has grown leaps and bounds since I started thanks to her wonderful teaching. Even during a pandemic, she has made Zoom yoga work so we can all stay connected and practice together! Highly recommend joining one of Judith's classes.
Sara Marschhauser: Judith's weekly sessions are the perfect way to reset and recharge your body, mind, and spirit for the upcoming week. Her style of teaching, educational tidbits, and overall energy have kept me coming back for 10+ years.
Karen Lumsden: I have been taking Yoga with Judith Valerie for a few years now and have been very happy. I have essentially learned allot about yoga from Judith who compliments yoga with meditation. I think that many yoga class classes can lead you through the motions but Judith guides you through good form and pays individual attention to what your body needs. The session environment flows in such a peaceful manner that allows you to get totally immersed in the experience. I recommend her classes.
Carla: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI have been taking Judith’s yoga classes since I retired 11 years ago. I arrange my calendar so I seldom miss a class. It’s a priority. I give Judith a lot of the credit for keeping me healthy and flexible as I start my 8th decade.
Rose Liter: I’ve been taking yoga with Judith for 20 years. She’s a wonderful teacher that can work with students of all levels. She weaves in a variety of styles and there is always something new for me to learn. I enjoy my weekly classes but even more importantly I enjoy what yoga has done for my everyday life. Judith has been a big part of that.
Ingrid Tucker: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI’ve been fortunate to attend Judith’s yoga classes for the last 6 years - the last year via ZOOM. Judith makes yoga challenging, yet fun :-). She is always responsive to our individual needs, helping us through any sore spots. I look forward to yoga each week - it keeps me going!

Andrew Hogan: Best yoga in town by far! I think I’m officially becoming a yogi. Romans skill level is so insane and Diana is also an incredible instructor. Glad I found this place
Hilary M: Friendly, welcoming staff in an intimate hot yoga studio I've been two classes with two different instructors that were very knowledgeable. Very nice touch that they offer towels for your yoga mat and for your face!
Connie Fowler: My girlfriend introduced me to Gratitude Hot Yoga and I was hooked from the first class. The teachers are very welcoming, open, and generous, and the practitioners are a fantastic community
Sara Mahler: A fabulous place to practice!!!
LESLIE BERMAN: congrats for Gratitude hot yoga center ...
Melissa Martinez: As a yoga teacher (and forever student) I am always looking for new studios whenever I travel to a new city. On a quick weekend trip to Raleigh to visit a family member, I was recommended Gratitude Hot Yoga and am so glad I went. Roman was a wonderful teacher with a gentle & welcoming energy. I felt right at home. The flow was well instructed and the perfect amount of ease and torch. I left the class feeling powerful and accomplished. I recommend this studio 1000%! If you’re in the Raleigh area definitely take the time to check this lovely studio out.
Lynn Gaskins: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityIv been doing Yoga for several years but finally got up the nerve and courage to do hot yoga. I’m so glad I chose this studio to experience hot yoga for that 1st time. My class was a once in a lifetime experience. I will definitely continue to practice yoga at Gratitude.
Heather Bell Adams: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI don't know what I would do without Gratitude Hot Yoga! I love it so much. Friendly, knowledgeable owner and yoga instructors. Challenging and rewarding class options. Clean and spacious studio. Convenient location. Y'all keep doing what you're doing! :)
Yoga Vibes YVWJ: I just moved to Raleigh and started exploring yoga studios. Gratitude hot yoga center was the most authentic yoga practice i have experienced so far. I want to express my gratitude to Roman the owner for his outstanding instruction and Laura for her warm welcome! Namaste
Kaley McClure: I started taking classes at Gratitude this year as a beginner and I am so happy I did! It’s difficult to find somewhere that you feel comfortable during the pandemic, but with the incredibly clean studio and welcoming, respectful people, I feel like I can actually let go and focus on the moment.I wasn’t sure if hot yoga would be for me. I would not say fitness is my passion, nor would I call myself flexible, but after exhausting myself with workouts that are too hard and damaging to my body, I gave it a try. Each class I’ve attended, I’ve felt encouraged and supported by not just the instructors, but also the other attendees. It isn’t about perfection, it’s about practice and listening to your body.If you’re on the fence, give it a try.
Julia Brown: I love Gratitude Hot Yoga! I've been going to Yoga places in the past but Gratitude Hot Yoga is by far the best one. Not only are the classes wonderful but I learned SO MUCH about the right posture, breathing, listening to my body, etc. from the amazing instructors which has helped me to improve my practice a lot. I'm so happy to have found this studio - highly recommend!
Baby Gains Training: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAbsolutely incredible! From the ambiance to the guidance of the instructor Charlie, it was the best studio I’ve visited. Highly recommend!
Amy Bonis: Luvvvv this place! Awesome instruction.
JK Mattox: Critical:ProfessionalismPlace is very dirty and the staff is unprofessional. Communication with pricing left a lot to be desired. I will not be back.
Jessica Phelps-Sims: This is my "special place."Julie's restorative class on Sunday is the perfect way to prep for the new week.
Tim & Julie Brouse: Just joined and couldn't be happier! Classes are challenging! Staff is super friendly, confidently professional and, dare I say, World Class. Facilities are clean and organized. Most importantly, the environment is hot, but not too dry and the sound system helps one enter into your yoga zone, without having to suffer through loud music. Imastay, Namaste!
B F: Best yoga classes in Raleigh. All the instructors are great, especially Roman. I've lived in Raleigh for 20+ years and practiced that long and this is the best studio hands down.
Megan Martin: Me and my husband used to go to gratitude. We loved the military discount they gave out as we are a military family. Last night my husband went and was told they will no longer be offering a military discount as they are becoming “an all inclusive hot yoga”. But yet they still offer student discounts. We will not be coming back.
Alicia Whitney: I returned to Gratitude after a two year hiatus for some hot yoga on a cold and rainy weekday and it was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the updates to the space. Not only is there one larger, combined studio, but the entryway has been refreshed and everything seems to flow much better (pun intended).I took the noon express class (a wonderful and time-savvy option for a working lunch break), and found the teacher (Maggie) to be warm, welcoming and gently helpful with my form. In addition, the studio's owner was quick to respond to an email inquiry that I had earlier that day. I already liked Gratitude, but now I might be in love. Will definitely be back soon!
Karen Sorenson: The best teachers! I always leave better then when I arrived and I am comfortable making each workout my own.
G De Joya: My wife and I have been going to Gratitude for several years now and we have enjoyed this very inclusive Yoga Community. I initially started going to yoga for it's physical benefits but have discovered over time that it's more than that. There is much self-discovery in yoga, and everyone's journey will be different. We were fortunate enough to find a community that is so warm and welcoming to students of all levels and backgrounds.

Staff were super friendly and the instructor was helpful, even for a beginner like myself! Definitely recommend trying it out no matter what experience you have.
Michael Zittel: Great location and fantastic staff. Easy to park and clean studio. I have had the opportunity to take a few different instructors, and they have all been very good!!
Jake Summers: The best yoga studio in Raleigh! Enjoyed the teacher and the rest of the staff, would recommend to anyone.

Bliss Body Yoga: what do users think?
Miles Shaw: Beautiful space and fabulous instructor
David Brown: Best instructors, variety of classes, and community of 'yogis' in Raleigh.
Mary Taylor-Cortes: Welcoming and supportive.
Lauren Smith: I have been attending classes with Karley and she is literally amazing! The vibe and educational style of the teacher is always going to influence the classes themselves and Karley is a great teacher. She is intentional, present, kind, and does a great job of towing the line between pushing us an appropriate amount but not so hard that we're in (too much) pain. It's always a great workout, encourages mindfulness, and above all, it's just fun. I genuinely look forward to attending Karley's classes and she even remembered my name despite that I have only been a hand full of times.
Cindy Sink: Colby is an excellent teacher and Bliss has wide offerings
Lynn Sanguedolce: When ever I take a class at Bliss Body Yoga it feels like the best gift I can give to myself. Healthy for my mind and my body.
Mace Farr: i love this place! took prenatal yoga and ellie was such a kindhearted person! i love the modifications she gives us. currently taking baby and me yoga and my baby loves it so much! socialization with other babies during yoga!
Leslie Cohen: I like the facility. The instructor was thorough and easy to follow. (All of,the instructors are.) The temperature in the room was comfortable. I was a little sore after class then my body felt phenomenal today. The only thing I would have changed would have been to dim the lights a little.
Robin Hammond: The entire experience was marvelous
Kathryn Findlen: Best yet in Raleigh
Jeff Miles: BBY has a great spce to practice, but with the lose of some instructors the classes are much more gentle. Wish BBY had more instructors or classes that were more challenging for strength training like you did in the past.
Lindsay Holland: I love Bliss and the teachers. I’ve done Beginner yoga, prenatal yoga, and now my son does kids’ yoga. All have been fabulous.
Rachel Caddiell: I love love love my prenatal yoga classes with Ellie (and the guest instructors too!). I feel so seen in these classes. Checking in with the other women helps me feel connected to a larger community of mothers. The whole practice allows me to appreciate and love myself during this pregnancy journey and journey into motherhood.
Inbal Sapir: Studio has welcoming and pleasant environment. The teacher was very supportive considering this was my first Yoga class in general, not just for this studio. It was an eye opening experience and I'll be back for more for sure
Letisha McLaughlin Lam: Just what I needed. I haven’t been to BlissBody in 6 years because of having children (nothing to do with the pandemic). Last night I needed some “me time” and I was so happy that Yin and Gentle Flow had space for me. It was a yoga spa experience: I enjoyed the mint, loved the hand lotion (actually ordered some as soon as I got home), the incense smell was divine, and mostly loved the gentleness of the instructor and the diversity of attendees: old, young, pregnant, advanced and novice. I hope I can find more time to visit.
Amy H. Nuttall: Beautiful studio filled with love and good energy!
Andrea Weigl: Karley is a great instructor.
Jeffrey Engel: Great instructors, peaceful environment, safe COVID protocols
Cindy Kandel: Chloe's class was great. She gave wonderful instructions, included various options for each pose depending on individual needs. Love that the class is LiveStream.
Noelle Schofield: I swear by the Monday Gentle Flow class. Colby and Jen are excellent teachers. After the class, I am ready to face the coming week.
Patti Panizza: Roxane is wonderful, love her style of yoga! The studio is very nice and the environment is relaxing.
