Stuart Sipkin: Run away! Ever since its acquisition by Dish, dealing with Republic Wireless has become a nightmare. A few months before the automatic renewal of our annual service charge, I cancelled automatic annual renewal on both of our phones online. On the renewal date, one phone reverted to monthly and one did not. So we ended up being charged the annual fee on that phone. Over the next few months four different service representatives told me that the second phone would be changed to monthly billing and that I would get a refund of the annual charge. That never happened and the last service representative (a supervisor) I spoke to told me that it wouldn’t happen because the entire mess was somehow my fault.
Will Stanley: Website says they ship the phones out on the same business day the phone is ordered. Ordered on a Sunday, should've shipped on Monday.....three calls to customer support later and sitting here on a Thursday and the phone still has not shipped and no one at customer (no) service knows why and can't seem to get it shipped. They've told me twice they're escalating the situation but also say they can't get it shipped. Anyone thinking of using Republic Wireless shouldn't.
Marie Newkirk: Terrible customer service, terrible quality, and my service was inexplicably cancelled today so I'm switching immediately. It's been a long time coming. Zero stars would be more representative of my experience with them since being bought by Dish.
Molly Urquhart: Just Say No to REPUBLICFinally had it after 9 days of no service after Republic sent us useless SIM cards. This followed with 4.5 accumulated hours with useless customer svc (none of which were in the US, and really difficult to understand) convos. A nightmare of frustrations with putting us through the ringer with this test, these changes, etc., ending with "we're sorry, we promise to have it resolved w/in 3 more days", then todays "oops, you need a new SIM card, which you'll receive in ANOTHER 3 days, then may take up to 6 days to port" (it has already been 9 days since we've had no service). Nah. Nope. We hung up, drove to T-Mobile, were connected within 40 minutes, with equivalent plan $12 less expensive than Republic.Do not consider Republic, and if you are with them now, get out instantly. This rotten review is coming from a user of 10 years who referred many others to them, and had nothing but positive experiences. AWFUL experience, cannot believe I endured 9 days of absolute phone-less and text-less hell with them.
Hal Tutor: Couple of mediocre years with this cell provider. Roaming starts one county over, poor coverage, and every update breaks the phone. Missed two uncles' funerals, had car trouble with no coverage. And now cannot make voice calls after their service "upgrade." I highly DO NOT recommend.

Emma M: I've been a Republic customer for over 10 years with no issues. Since the switch to DISH and 5G, their customer service is completely unacceptable. I will definitely be leaving the company to seek service elsewhere. I recently upgraded my phone and plan to the "Only what you need" but did not realize that calls to Canada are not included (because they were at the same price point in the legacy plan. Why the change??). Support informs me that I need to upgrade to a plan that costs twice as much in order to be able to call my family abroad. Fine, I give the go-ahead to upgrade the plan.Turns out there is an error message and that plans can't be upgraded until 30 days have passed?!? I've spent over 2 hours on hold today only to find out that they will literally do nothing to help me reach my family in Canada, and the earliest I can talk to my grandmother is a month from now. At this point it will 100% be faster for me to ditch the service and switch to a brand new company. The whole point of a phone company is communication. I can't believe that they aren't able to help me communicate even when I'm willing to pay more.

When you call T-Mobile to activate the card they cannot find it in their system. They also CHARGED me $10 for the SIM, which according to T-Mobile they should not have done. I should have received the SIM card and had the activation done for free.Update: turns out another store couldn't activate my SIM either, so I can't blame them for a bad SIM. It should have been free though. Changed my star rating to 4 because it wasn't their fault the SIM didn't work.

When she could not figure out my issue she asked for assistance. Her coworker Ty attempted then turned it over to Javon. They did not leave me nor give up. I did ask if they could check inventory online at other stores for the color of my choosing, they told me they could, and that was lie number 1.They do not have the capability to check inventory of other stores online!They continued to tell me there was nothing in stock at any other stores for the color I was looking for, unfortunately I took her word for it and asked her to continue with the purchase. Lie number 2.I located the color of my choice at a store less that 20 miles away!She then tried hard to upsell charging devices, items I did not need, nor did I want. She tried to convince me that my charging cables would overcharge or undercharge the phone. Lie number 3.Apple devices have chips in them to ensure charging is strictly regulated to prevent damage to the phone, the apple KNOCKOFFS do not have the chips in them, I only use true apple products.After careful consideration I did not return to this location to complete a purchase of the phone, I went to another location, spoke to some very honest folks and purchased the phone from them.Update 05/09/21I am very disappointed in the "lip-service" only approach from the business owner, who clearly only responds to negative reviews in an approach to appear concerned, Unfortunately the failure to respond to any emails or make any attempt to resolve issues is a clear indication of where these bad business ethics come from.

k mcguinness: Horrible service! Was on hold with tmobile trying to get the new sim card activated for 5 hours (sprint merger mishap). After 5 hours was told to bring it to Tmobil store. They had not a clue how to activate a sim card! The guy there was mumbling about how someone told him they couldn't do it here and to take it to Crabtree. Very rude. Very incompetent. They just lost a customer.
Melinda Mathews: Matthew at Tmobile was absolutely a God send today! My phone died unexpectedly over the weekend. They didn't have the phone I wanted in their store and he went out of his way to call different stores in the area to find what we needed! He went above and beyond what most people would do and I really appreciate his honesty his genuine desire to give us a great customer service experience. Highly recommend!!!

They straight up lied to my face before when they said they removed it.So they gave me a line to call which always puts me on hold then hangs up on me.Not only that, I bought 3 phones and declined the insurance…only to find they added insurance on ALL 3 phones without my approval. I removed it right away.This company is full of scammers.
Malcolm S.: I just left this store about an hour ago (Sunday, Jan 2, 2:45 PM) with the hopes of activating our new iPhones, and confirming promotions (AirPods on Us, and Trade In) had been applied to our account.Since the store was empty we initially thought this process would be seamless, but the two sales people working couldn't have been more rude, condescending or flippant towards my father and I. Upon entering the store the two sales associates looked at us as if we interrupted a conversation and didn't greet us as customers in the store. When we then tried to greet them with a "Happy New Year"--still just radio silence and stares. I thought about leaving the store right then and there.The male sales associate tried to begin helping us, but acted as if he was unfamiliar with the promotions (which are advertised on the T Mobile website) and tried to make it seem like we were stupid. All while the other associate was giggling on her phone. When we informed the associate we purchased our phone at another T-Mobile he lost complete interest in trying to assist us.The environment was so unprofessional and uncomfortable that my father and I decided leave the store altogether. I usually don't go out of my way to leave bad reviews, but the associates working this particular Sunday left me no choice, and I'd hate for any customer to experience what we just did.
S. Michael Stewart: Came in on a Sunday because a phone number had failed to transfer over from Verizon the previous day. The two people working the store could not care less. The one played on her phone most of the time. The other one who worked with me had an attitude problem. When I told him what my problem was, he said all I needed was the transfer pin. So I got it for him. Then he got upset because he didn't know it was a Sprint plan and not a T-mobile plan (despite being told multiple times). Then he got upset I didn't have the account number (this line was transferred from another account) and had to wait for me to look it up. He complained on the phone to T-mobile that it was all my fault this wasn't going well. Gave up after an hour and left. Looks like in the other reviews you're better to wait until the middle of the week for staff that actually cares.

We are a large, fast-paced dental practice. Since we have been clients with MCS, glitches and downtime have significantly decreased, and when we do have downtime, it's fixed within minutes of contacting them. If it can’t be done remotely (and it usually can), someone is instantly on their way here to help. TJ TJ: this is a review for David ( said he was the manager) also when he couldnt or wouldnt help me with fees, said HE COULD NOT give me the name of his manager he said he wasn't allowed to lol,DAVID was very arrogant and condescending also very indifferent (he displayed he could care less)if you change providers BE AWARE THEY WILL NICKEL AND DIME YOU!!! they did not cancel my service although i called specifically to pay off all devices and get a pin to unlock, they asked why I was changing providers, told the rep lower prices.asked specifically when the cycle ended so I would not pay a new cyclelong story short they charged me for 2 new cycles and a boost device used 5 years ago, rep never explained needed to be returned, NEVER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION as well. (They said when i received it 5years ago it was in the paperwork, lol) in2018.when I had my phone numbers ported they dismantled my account access on the app & online. (i guess they did know i left) they still charged me for service of 4 lines for 2 months after i canceled.when I said i would return the device THEY REFUSED to accept, because it was after 60 days from cancelling my service. even tho according to them I still had an account, charged $150 for an old device.they would not waive fees even tho it was obvious I was on a different provider, always paid my bills with TMobile for over 10years. they use to be great customer service NOT ANYMORE!they charged me $400 total for services that should have been cancelled. the original customer reps on phone, , David at the store and the rep maritza on the phone helping david at the store ALL gave conflicting different information.would NOT recommend and Beware when you do change providers.sincerely former customer

I have visited many T-Mobile stores in the Raleigh/Brier Creek area and they did not have a clue how their products work. David is the best!

David T and the rest of the staff at this T Mobile location bent over backwards to assist us and eventually get us set up! Chris W: Drove to Morrisville found out they sold out of the product I was looking for and sent me to this location. When I get to the location they tell the phone is only for T-Mobile carriers and not Sprint but come to find out called two other locations and that wasn't the case. The employee Jennifer then told me that it was a problem or issue with their systems but surprisingly when talking to another store they told me they just don't care about Sprint carriers and just send them off to other locations. Well I decided to just buy my phone straight from Apple thanks for nothing and I hope the DM reaches out to this location for better training.

Adam Bearman: Horrible customer service by both associates today. Bought a new phone 2 weeks ago and got Premium package with all the accessories. I was never told that meant financing as I thought what I paid that day was the cost and special deal they had. When I went back to return, that associate was there and she told me that she did explain it. I stated if you did and I knew this, why would I be here. She was smug and condescending. The other associate was bothered to even have to help me and was like I can't do anything cuz it's past 14 days and I don't have credentials to override and she told me store manager can't do this either. I asked to speak to the district manager and she stated he was busy. I asked when store manager would be in and she told me and I stated I'll be back, to which I was told there was no point, he would tell me the same thing. Both associates were rude, disrespectful, and not once apologized.
