Clayton Homes: what do users think?
Nathan Robert: Thanks Clayton Homes of Raleigh. They took me in and treated me like family. I would give them ten stars 🌟 for the wonderful way they made me feel at home. Thanks again everyone for the time and help.
Tiana graham: Robert was amazing !!! He gave me all the info I needed showed me some beautiful homes and took the time out to explain to me everything about purchasing with Clayton homes
Chyanne Weeks: Very honest and sincere .
Travis Banks: Great experience. Salesperson took their time and really understood what we wanted. There was a wait but the waiting area is nice and employees acknowledged that we were there.
Rhonda Groom: Wow! Very impressed... I am in a preliminary stage of moving from Florida to NC. Price range is spot on for me (retired) Manufacturer/Modular homes have come a long way. They are beautiful. They had a few with drywall, which made it feel just like a home verses a mobile. Anyway, great place to get ideas, and Felix was a great person to work with who walked me through the whole process. So when time is right, he's 1st on my list along with Clayton Homes to find my new home.
Kelly Auker: I went to Clayton homes to discuss building and buying a plot of land… I was extremely excited and that quickly changed. I was greeted by Robert and looked over floorplans with him and he also introduced me to a plot of land I was VERY interested in… everything I was looking for, they had. Until I asked for quotes on a couple of homes and I was told that if I wanted the lot, I’d have to send $2500 to reserve the lot. Okay, no problem. I told them I wanted to review quotes first with the overall price for everything and I was met with days of silence. No follow ups unless I sent the messages, and only met with more excuses as to why my quotes I’ve requested haven’t been sent. Then I was told if I wanted the land, there were two other couples interested so I’d have to get the $2500 quickly… again, that was fine, but I wanted the quotes first. Met with “I’ll get you the quotes today!” And days later, still none. Very disturbed with how I was treated here as a serious customer just trying to build my forever home. Be careful to send these people money for lots… since that’s all they seem to care about.
Lauri Shearl: nice to be able to walk thru the homes, follow up was never done by the salesman we never got the quote and ended up buying elsewhere
sean brophy: The display homes are set up beautiful and they had a great selection of house plans for veiwing. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about any recommendations for making sure that you understand about the setup and delivery of the house and explaining about the mortgage options.
LaDaeshia Fogg: Robert was amazing! Very helpful!
Donnie Dillow: I called and talked to Tina Mancini and let her know I would be in to look at homes. She told me to ask for her when I got there. I waited on her for over 20 minutes to look at homes. Once I did talk with her she told me she was working with another customer. I asked about how long it would be and she told me she did know know because the customer wanted to look at several other homes. She told me I could wait on her or come back another time. The thing that irritates me the most is she is acting like my time is not valuable or important and why tell me to come in and see you if you are not going to be available. If and that is a big if I come back to his location I will not use Tina Mancini as my sales person! Very disappointed in this customer service!
Miguel Coreas: Muy buena atención y un muy buen ambiente y las casas estas súper lindas
Sarah Capozio: The sales manager who helped was friendly and knowledgeable. However, they quoted us $200k for a manufactured home and land. That seems a bit much to me.
Charles Wesley: Clayton Homes of Raleigh, NC is the best! 👍👍
Klstyles: Friendly staff nice choices and informative
Constance Smith: Nice staff.. Very limited inventory, very basic layouts.
Imelda McGowan: Surprisingly nice looking homes
Angel Sandoval: Worst customer service ever, walked in cash in hand ready to buy, someone who didn’t even introduce itself just said they having a meeting and no one could help or even take the time to just show me the process and or even close the deal. Nor even though abou even ask what was the necessity we had . If I could I would give 0 stars just think if you don’t have customer skills 1 star is helping you anyway. And by the way it was a rainy day …
Sherice Scott: They play games once they get your money and do handyman work on pipes and when it messes up they wait for your warranty to run out and don’t want fix it leaving you with the problem don’t buy from them
Angela Smith: I went in to Clayton Homes in Garner North Carolina to inquire about a purchase on a double wide. The sales associate informed me that it would take up to a year with everything going on due to the pandemic. Before leaving she did tell me of a property that was already in the works when the potential buyer had to back out. I told her that I would be interested and fill out an application. Before filling out the application a deposit was required to hold the house. This is what I was told by the sales associate that a deposit holes the house so others can't purchase it .The deposit was made, application was ran & I was a few points short from getting approval that day but was assured by the finance lady that I needed to pay off a credit card to boost the score. Once it generated back through the credit bureau she would pull my credit again to get approved for the home. While I was waiting for the credit bureau to regenerate the paid off credit card I was not informed that the mobile home company could take another deposit an application for the home. I found out two days before the credit bureau regenerated that the home had already been pre-approved for another buyer I just want others to know how disrespectful I think this company is, NO morals & NO integrity. Couldn't even pick up the phone and make a simple phone call to let people know the house goes back on the market for other potential buyers if your not approved the first time. I was under the impression that being I had put a deposit down, the house was on hold for me and I could wait for the score to go up. Not the case at all. I have turned down other potential offers thinking that Clayton home had my back and that I would be approved for this home. Now my kids and I have to wait longer for a home and I wasted two months trusting someone that didn't have my interest at heart. That 2 months could have been 2 out of the 12 I now have to wait. Pray you don't get screwed Buy Mobile Home sellers.
Shelby Sherba: Originally we were frustrated to say the least. But we will say that through the many barriers and battles the dream we had is becoming reality. In the end things worked out. I would just say make sure there is clarity and understanding as in anything. Overall with the frustrations things work out in the end with time. The team was helpful and listened after discussion back and forth. We are great full for the team coming together with a plan in the end and working together. Despite barriers I would recommend them and due diligence to reach the agreement. Friendly staff. Communication was tough at times but worked out.
maria schillizzi: Love you guys love my home

Greenfield Housing Center: what do users think?
Rhonda Groom: Didn't take pictures, but I will when I go back . Great place to get ideas for a new beginning in my life. Prices seem reasonable as well. Honestly, pictures are good, but in person is better. Manufactured/Modular homes have come a long way.
Rich G: Got there at 4:25 p.m. they were already locking up. I was chased out of there she wasn't interested in a new customer. Everything indicated they closed at 5:00. She told me she had a birthday party she was trying to get to and that's fine. But I will never darken your doors again since you were so rude about it! Party on lady party on...Edit in response to the managers reply; I was only offered for her to go back in and get some brochures to take with me she was clear that the office was closed. I had stepped in the office and she had called me outside after racing up in her golf cart to stop me and that there was only one unit she had not locked yet. She didn't even offer for me to see that one. I told her no thanks to the brochures go ahead and get to the party that she was trying to get to I would not want to stop her from doing that. I was cordial but clear that I would not be coming back.I must respectfully decline your offer.
Chyanne Weeks: Troy was very helpful, and pleased with the time we talked.
Brandon Johnson: Great folks, great homes. What more could you ask for?Update: Greenfield Housing Center is the place to buy your next mobile or manufactured home.
Toby Williamson: Nice they let us tour the homes without a salesperson
Chad Lamm _ Staff - EnvironmentGrounds: Great People! Brian and his staff made me feel very comfortable with the home buying experience. They were very responsive. We faced several challenges along the way and Brian was a partner who helped me work through the issues. I feel like I have a great home and got it at a great price. Overall I would highly recommend Greenfield Housing Center for the purchase of your new home.
T Foz: 👍
JC Conger: Very professional. Very nice selection
Javier Maysonet: Good
cindy o'neil: Brian is the best very helpful in buying our lake house
Lisa Johnson: Friendly and helpful staff.
Tish Lassiter: Robert was great
Lindsey: My fiance and I are soon to be first time home buyers. We have been nervous about the searching and buying process due to us being newbies. We stopped by yesterday afternoon after I read good reviews online. We were automatically greeted and told we could view the onsite models at our own pace without any pressure from a sales person behind us. What a relief! We discovered a model that we both really loved and went to the building center to speak to a employee. Mr. Barbour was a breeze to talk to and a nice guy. He explained everything in great detail and was open to questions any time even after we left with paperwork. We were blown away by the affordable prices with all the set up included in the home delivery with the current extreme increases in housing materials market. Every employee that was currently working at that time that we came across were polite and good natured. We look forward to continue working with Mr. Barbour as we continue on the road to owning our dream home.
David Pearson: Eric was very friendly and helpful. Learned about different models and options as well as pricing. We will probably make a purchase within the next few months.
Cynthia Boone: No one wearing masks, customers or salesperson. open house with the office full of customers and no restrictions on the a amount of people allowed in at one time.
Brandon Thompson: Came here to look around a time or two as I'm interested in a manufactured home after graduation. Eric Barbour has always been so friendly and welcoming with a nice selection to see what options there are. Will be coming here to purchase one day!
Debra Cox: Great information
Laura Prudhomme: Brian was very helpfully looking at new house very knowledgeable
Nora Edwards: Really nice affordable homes.
Karen Sessoms: Awesome service. Will visit again soon.
Kim Poole: Great experience! Every client I have referred to this sales center has had nothing but positive things to say about everyone at Greenfield! It means a lot to be able to refer a client to someone and know they are in good hands! A big thank you to the entire staff at Greenfield housing!

Clayton Homes: what do users think?
Sidney Strickland: Great deals on home and a great customer service
Randi D: Went to see additional models to what other lots had. I guess the sales person felt like I wouldn't buy a home from them so he was rather short. Not rude, just short. Fairly certain I wouldn't recommend that outlet to anyone after that.
Clayton Boylan: Beautiful homes love the fact that you can customize your floor plan 👍🏽
David Maddox: Same as most of the other comments, no interest in prospective customer. Sales person had no time for questions, no information without a bank pre-approval just seemed annoyed that they had to take 3 minutes from their busy schedule to speak with a potential customer. ( No one else was there) Save yourself time and frustration, just call a local realtor, one I'm working with has found several properties. You'd think they'd be nicer to someone willing to spend over 100k with them....
jose feliz: Called to get the square footage and floorplan. Took my name, phone number and email address. I never got the email. I guess their strategy is not to give up information unless in person. Then I read some of the reviews....not who I want to deal with. Other company websites have all kinds of floorplans and show lots of information. Glad to know not to deal with Clayton in Youngsville from the get go.
Tonya Case: Doug Strickland was so patient with my questions. Could not ever ask for better customer service! Location had great inventory.
Live Life: I stopped by to ask a few questions about a modular home; when the manager "Michael Johnson" heard I was there I could here his comments of frustration that he was too busy to deal with another customer. I know the housing market is booming and everyone is busy, but a good salesman will alway take a few minutes to make customer feel wanted. Hell will freeze over before I go back to Clayton homes Youngsville NC tobuy anything.
Heather Lynn Watt: No one ever called to follow up on item I am not happy bc I am tired of trying.2/22/22–you responded to this and asked me to call, I did, no return call. I’ll assume you just have so much business, don’t need mine and just don’t want negative reviews!
Betsy Jones: A total waste of my time! I had an appointment at 2pm but there was a wait which was no big deal but Justin or Josh stated to me he only had a couple minutes to talk and told me there was nothing he can do for me without asking me any questions and he didn't pull up anything just wrote my name on a piece of paper. We talked for a total of 5 mins so when I said well I'm just going to leave since you're only given me general information after I'm asking all the questions and not real answers as to what you can do for me. He asked me if he said something wrong or offended me. Its too late for that. Terrible!!
Paula Phelps: Never called me back about anything that was going on very bad experience
June Flickinger: Justin was very nice. Clayton Homes, Youngsville, NC. I looked at a house I never said I wanted, thought I could pick a house off of their website (wrong), sent out to look at a lot. I picked out a lot, paid $1000.00 to secure a lot. Then, I was given a story about a man waiting on a house to put on the lot, but he may not want the lot if the house doesn't come in. Did I say he took my money before the man story? It was the biggest mess I have ever been involved in. No lot, no house, no help. It took them all but minutes to take my deposit, but now I have to wait, who knows how long, to get a check from Clayton Corp. Thank you Chris and Justin for nothing, not even my refund. What, you can take my money electronically, but you can't refund it electronically? Strange.
Chris Casey: My daughter bought a beautiful home from them. Added 08/31 Although because of various snags, not Claytons, the process has taken longer then hoped. Im hoping they can get the setup done quickly and smoothly. My daughter is more then pleased with her purchase from them. And I'm so happy she has her new home.
Araceli Saavedra: Chris, the general manager and his team were great to work with. It was so easy to work with Chris. He made sure to keep us updated through out the entire process. He always responded to my calls, emails, and texts within a reasonable amount of time. He made this process as stress free as possible. He made sure to address all my questions and concerns. The construction crews were very quick and efficient to get everything complete. If you need a new house ask for Chris Wilkins! Thank you Chris for making our 1st home purchase a dream come true.
Terri Cargill: Chris Wilkins is awesome! Clayton Homes is a great place to buy your new home from. If there is any issues, Clayton Homes is quick to react and fix whatever issues there might be. Great Youngsville team! I highly recommend getting your new home from them!
Martin Molloy: I was hired by Clayton Homes to sell one of their spec homes and I have to say I was impressed with their operation. Anytime I needed anything from their staff they were right on it. Chris the general manager is super helpful when needing to get things done. The behind the scenes people including Francine in the office are very organized and on the ball. I recommend this group and Clayton Homes highly.
Lori Catenacci: I only gave one start because you have to. NEVER buy a home with these people..too much disappointment to fit in one review.
Nise: I wouldn’t recommend this Clayton homes to Any of my friends or family! We were on a merry go round for almost a year ! Try Clayton homes of Raleigh
Miranda Reaves: Chris and his construction crews really got in there and handled their business. They got the whole process done so fast and efficiently. The crews were very friendly. Chris made sure to stay on top of everything that needed to be handled. The staff was very kind and efficient as well. We are so happy with our home.
Tawanna Carpenter: Had a great experience with Clayton homes in youngsville Michael and Chris made things happen Thanks so much.
Virgil Walker (Virgil_shadow): I had a great experience at Clayton Holmes in Youngvilles. Doug and Chris were very helpful with any questions and concerns i had. I highly recommend going here for new home buyers

Red Door Homes: what do users think?
Joya Whitehead-Jones: I am in the early stages of working with Red Door and everyone I've dealt with has been professional and responsive to any questions I have had. Kallie Taylor has been so quick to give me status on how things are progressing, as well as helping me when someone else I came to see was unavailable. She stepped in and got things taken care of quickly.
DARLENE LLORENS: Excellent presentation with Blaize. Very detailed explanation of what Red Door provides in home building. Definitely considering having Red Dor build my home.
Don Kasbohm: The staff at Red Door Homes were nice enough, and the Design Center in Clayton is pretty cool. But we ultimately decided not to build with them, or any other builder for that matter. And that wasn't really their fault, but mostly on account of all the hidden costs and "gotchas" that kept on adding up and adding up and adding up, thanks mostly to all the bureaucratic BS that was inflicted upon us by the local government! $2-3K to change this that and the other thing on the well. $4-5K to change this, that, and the other thing on the septic. $7-8K to fix things that were NOT broken! You'd think that starting off with a property that already had a well and septic installed would make the process *less* expensive? Think again! The final straw was when Rolesville Township said we'd have pay them a $7K "Impact Fee". We told them to go impact it where the sun doesn't shine. Do NOT try to build a new house in Rolesville Township, unless you want to end up walking around wearing a wooden barrel like in the old cartoons!
Yuberkys Santos: Lovely customer service
Scott Barefoot: Service:Home building
Tracy Mcneil: Service:Custom home designPositive:Responsiveness
Mike Randall: We went to several builders and found that Red Door was the full package. Others required us to get permits and complete grading and other work ourselves, and the price was higher. We met with Kaydee at Red Door in Clayton and had a no pressure wonderful experience. We moved at our own pace until our construction loan was completed. Then we found that Kaydee scheduled all the meetings and started simplifying the process immediately. After a few low stress meetings to plan our dream home, we picked our preferences in layout, appliances, colors and extras. Kaydee was friendly and worked with us confidently as we decided what changes we wanted in Red Door's base plan. We always felt like Kaydee's best customer after meetings with her at the Red Door office. We met our builder Steven soon after and found him both pleasant and experienced. Kaydee smoothly transitioned as our primary contact to Steven and we met on the property the following week to go over every step. Steven and I worked together on the exact placement of the house on our property. He gave us sound advise on how to get things started.Steven has a personal relationship with each contractor and worked with me as part of the team for everyone's piece of the build. All of the subcontractors are scheduled by Steven and the work progressed with minor delay and with only the smallest of issues with county inspections. We receive weekly email updates from Steven regarding scheduled activity, with progress reports and upcoming scheduled tasks. I stopped by the build site on several occasions and consulted with Steven on progress and was impressed with how smooth and quickly everything progressed. The siding is now complete and the sheetrock is being finished. Up next is the paint and trim. I feel confident that the build is being done with care and personal attention from each person working there, thanks to Steven. We recently had a Muddy Boots day at the house and would encourage participation in this for everyone. Meeting other people beginning the same journey or contemplating choosing Red Door was important and likewise helped me tremendously at that phase.I know we have a few more months to go until we move into our dream home, but it has been a wonderful and exciting experience. Thank you Kaydee, Steven and everyone else we have met at Red Door for the exceptional work you have done for us.I would recommend Red Door to everyone looking for a personal builder that strives to build quality and affordable homes and treats their customers with respect. Red Door has communicated expertly, clearly set and exceeded expectations, listened and responded with the best advice, exceeded our expectations in the quality of work and performed the build on time and under budget. Thank you all.
Fredy Hernandez: Bueno
Sara Penna: Red Door Homes helped us build the house of our dreams in the middle of post-pandemic nonsense. The process took about a year from start to finish, and over all, I recommend them as a professional company. They weren't perfect, but our builder, Steven, was responsive and fixed any problems with fidelity. If you are going to build a house, you need to understand that a lot can go south over the course of the 6-12 months. You WILL run into snags and there will be no one to blame. While this is frustrating, Red Door Homes communicated well and did their best to alleviate stress. In terms of quality, everything will be contractor grade unless you pay more. The good news is that you will have everything for cost and quality laid out for you from the very beginning. There was only one thing that we got that was different than expected, but if we had asked more questions, we may not have had that problem. Make sure you understand the specifics of your contract at every sentence, and you will be satisfied with the result. When it came to "custom building," Red Door Homes will change anything in your desired floor plan as long as it is structurally up to code. This allowed us to expand our kitchen, change a bathroom layout, and add features we knew we wanted. They were very helpful and accommodating. As construction goes on, one thing to remember is that your land will have many people from many companies on it. Red Door Homes contracts out most jobs, and all companies do things a little differently. Overall, you should expect that workers will be respectful of your property, but as it is a construction site, know that you may see garbage sometimes. We love the home that Red Door Homes built for us, and although they ran late in their plan, they always kept us in the loop and answered our questions. Building a home is stressful, but if you have support and patience, you will be satisfied with the results that Red Door Homes provides.Services:Predesigned floor plans for homes,Home building
Jr Reed: Critical:Professionalism,Punctuality,Responsiveness
Dallas Texas: We’ve had a lot of issues with mismanagement of our build. They’ve promised they’ll do better and offered to cancel our contract. We decided to give them a chance to improve, as all we’ve wanted for over a year was for them to build house. I’ll update my review if/when they build our house and hopefully improve communication with us.
Juanita Perkins: Great professional and courteous service!
Claudia H: Great experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Looking to have them build my home in 2022.
Ang Rodriguez: The petite lady in the front desk is pretty nice and helpful but there is a lady that is pretty rude to Spanic ,well at least she was rude to me anyway so You know treat how you want to be treated so Just whent away from rudenes and I just gave the thanks to the lady In the front desk and leave.
Jaycen Milling: Informational
Luke Render: We had a pleasant experience with them. They offer quite a few building homes from basic models under 100k excluding land to very lavish houses with all the amenities. You have to have your own land and they will build on it. They have a realtor that does NOT work on commission if you want them to help you find a good piece of land to work with. They get the permits and do the land prep work. They only build stick houses. No modular homes. Their salesman is very knowledgeable on code and add ons. He can give recommendations also.
Bridgette White: I'm just in the beginning stages of my home buying process. But this company has already impressed me.As I walked through the door the front desk receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Then I met Katie my home consultant. She was very friendly, and informative.I can tell this is going to be awesome journey.
Karol Brown-Shoffner: John was very knowledgeable, professional, and not intrusive whatsoever.
Andrew: 09/29/2020. We had a great experience with Red Door Homes and we are happy to recommend them!Deep dive; Our journey started with Brian in the Clayton office. He was excellent at helping pick out our house plan and selecting options. Thanks, Brian!Once the contract was signed, we got our financing lined up and broke ground in just a couple weeks! Our builder, Joe, was awesome. We cannot praise him enough. He was well-organized, communicated often, and really made the whole experience pleasant.I was particularly impressed at how well he scheduled the subcontractors; there was virtually no down-time on the build! Our strategy going into this was price-per-square foot and we couldn't be more pleased at the value we received.Thank you!
jon wayne: Critical:Responsiveness
La'Treese Emerson: Wonderful! Brian Lines was awesome. Everyone is so welcoming.
