Bill Plemmons RV World, Raleigh: what do users think?
Courtney Darlington: I had to order an awning and these guys were fantastic. Great customer service and super fast shipping and delivery to me. I will have my camper needs addressed here from now on.
Brandon Brinkley: Go see Larry McGhee at the parts desk , great customer service and was right on point !!!! Thanks again sir , will continue to use this place in future
Robert Ancheta: Ive been looking for the right camper for years now and went here on a whim. We finally found a floor plan we were looking for in Grand Design. Kyle there was nice and not pressuring. He helped us through the whole process in buying our first camper and detailing what sets brands apart from others. The day we did pickup, the service guys were very thorough in doing a quality inspection of the camper with us before we took it off the lot. We’ve visited a lot of dealers over the years and would absolutely recommend them. We are super excited to go on our first trip.
Spencer Taylor: Awesome team!
Anthony Lloyd: We purchased our first 5vr in 2019. Aaron P. In Raleigh treated us right. He is extremely professional and courteous. Always goes above expectations. We went back to get some parts and decided to take a look around. Saw a Solitude that was 1 yr old and barely used. Love the floor plan. Same as or Reflection Made the jump and again Aaron came through. Extremely happy. 1st trip in a couple of weeks. Excited to take it out. Thanks Aaron and all of the people who helped us at Bill Plemmons RV in Raleigh. The Lloyd’s.
Nicholas Hudson: I coordinated with this company a month prior to purchase the unit. When I arrived, I was received well and the paperwork was complete to an extent. I wrote a check for the unit so that way it would be paid in full and that there would be an easy transaction. My family and I took out the unit the very next weekend. Once we arrived at our campground we realized that the air conditioner was not working, it was not that hot yet so it didn’t really bother me that much. I spoke with the sales manager and he told me that there was an express service for any unit that was brought back within a certain time frame so that way the customer would be taken care of and have their unit fixed. Accordingly we dropped off our unit and was not able to pick it up for over a month. When we did pick it up, the unit was dirty and the batteries were dead. This isnt our first RV or camper but I promise it will be first and the last from this company. This company only cares about selling units and not about the customers. I hope that this review keeps everyone away from here.
Lauren Warliga: Update: my negative review of 2/5 stars got the attention of the general manager, Spencer, who promptly called me. My refund was processed and now I'll wait 6-8 weeks for it. I'll update this review again once I see my refund. Very pleased with Spencer's response to my review.-------------------------------------------------------------We had the best experience buying our travel trailer through Bill Plemmons. From Aaron in sales to Larry, Rich, Danny, and everyone else we came in contact with, service is fantastic and they really treat you like VIPs. They’re honest and patient and stand behind what you buy. However, I’ve been trying to cancel my extended warranty for 2 months. Office has not been responding or following up in a timely manner. I still don’t have a refund or a response from the office manager. I would not recommend purchasing an extended warranty if you think there’s any chance you might need to cancel it due to the sale of your RV.
Karen Eason: Kayla and the team were of great help today. We decided to trade our travel trailer for a 5th wheel. We went with a used one since it is our first 5th wheel. Excited to pick it up and make new memories with our older but new camper for us. Everyone we spoke to showed kindness and answered our questions. Looking forward to our camping relationship with this team. Thank you for helping us today.
charles murray: Great selection and very knowledgeable sales team. They also have a great selection of parts and supplies.
Randy Herman: Kayla was very helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond what was expected . Spencer was great in finance he explained all the paperwork so we fully understood it . Richie did the walkthrough before purchasing Camper/RV he new everything about the camper we were buying . Aaron was very helpful at the counter.
Michael Jarmon: I purchased a 2023 Jayco Class C. Spencer was very attentive and helpful in keeping the process moving. Jamie made the purchase very smooth. Chris did my walk through and was very easy to understand and follow. He was able to answer all of my questions. The parts department was very helpful in making sure I had what I wanted as well as what I needed for my new RV. This is my second RV purchase from the Raleigh location.
Brian Fletcher: Fanatics experience. Just bought my second camper (Grand Design Imagine) from them. Aaron in sales, Matt and Chris in service, and Jamie and Spencer in finance were all terrific to work with! I would highly recommend starting you RV search here.
Doug Brown: I had a scheduled appointmentAnd was greeted and we reviewed what needed to be addressed by Matt .the service manager was brought out and introduced to me and immediately got working on itHe was very informative and detailed in his work. I have had rvs in shops many times and have never had this level of service anywhere. Thank you
Deborah Rosenberg: Just saying, Bill Plemmons RV of RALEIGH is the best RV dealership we’ve ever dealt with in 26 years of camping! Matt, and the entire service department, is awesome! They are friendly, courteous, professional and prompt! The sales team is the same I am sure! If you’re searching for a camper or service, don’t hesitate to call them!
Lynwood Daniel: Kayla and Spencer were excellent in making our new purchase a great experience! We're Happy Campers...
Rhonda Turner: Awful! After 1 1/2 months of waiting for a leveling kit to be installed they say they ordered the wrong one.
Russ Lowenthal: Incredible service. Matt, Chad, and Aaron were meticulous in making sure everything was done right. With any luck, I'll never have to take my 5th wheel anywhere else for service
Louis Brown: Sad ending to my relationship with Bill Plemmons Raleigh. I was not notified that they lost their Winnebago relationship. They could not service my Minnie under warranty. I had to take it to Rural Hall to be fully covered. Lesson learned. Communication was sub par.
Gary Eldridge: Just want to say thank you to Bill Plemmons for the great customer service they provided. Dwight was a great salesman and keep us informed throughout our purchase ( if you go see him tell him I sent you lol). Spencer the general manager took time to personally welcome us and walk us through anything we had question’s with. Chris the tech took us through a detailed walk through of our RV and ensured that he covered everything. Jamie the finance manager went above and beyond to get us the deal we wanted. All the people that work at Bill Plemmons Raleigh were very professional and kind. We felt like we were part of the family and are looking forward to the different campgrounds they recommended to us.
Ron Bolt: My wife and I just recently bought a Grand Design Reflection from Bill Plemmons in Raleigh and had a great experience. The first time we went there, we were greeted by Aaron who showed us several models that we were interested in. Once we decided on a particular unit, Spencer helped us with the financing. All the employees at the dealership went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Our walk through was very detailed. We just finished a weeks long vacation in our new travel trailer and couldn’t be happier. I definitely would recommend Bill Plemmons for your RV needs.
bradde hamman: Top notch service!!!! Amazingly helpful with my older RV which can be hard to find parts for. I cantcthank them enough for how helpful they are.

Camping World of Raleigh: what do users think?
Carmen Gutierrez: Julie was wonderful very helpful. Cannot ask for better sale person.
Alicia W: Stopped by Camping World and had an amazing experience with Julia Hall. Great sales person. Julia knows everything there is to know about campers. We didn't buy today, but I highly recommend Julia if you are looking for a camper.
Kevin Ulrey: Couldn't just look around like we used to.
Cathy Persons: My husband and I went in to just look around. We have been considering getting a camper for a year or more and we wanted to see what was out there so we could plan and budget accordingly. Deana knew we weren't purchasing that day, but she treated us like we were. She showed us 4 campers that were within the budget we asked. There was no pressure to buy any way. She did a wonderful job showing us things we liked.
Donna Dubois: Deanna is working very hard to find us our perfect camper. She has been very helpful and patient.
Thomas Behrens: Everything went great the place is amazing hunter was extremely helpful I can’t wait to get to the camper
Gabe Gangi: Customer service is horrible. Don't buy anything from this retail store. Their return policy is garbage. Their management is down right disrespectful claiming that all they are doing is following policy! This organization is far from customer friendly. All they are trying to do is make as quick of a dollar off anyone who walks in those doors.Buyers BEWARE
Nathan Bingham: Deanna Paschall did a wonderful job at showing and selling our 26RB Vibe
Terri Cassesse: Our Sales Associate “Julia” was super friendly, responsive, very informed of the RV options and construction. She also facilitated an easy purchase for us. Highly Recommend 😀
Kyle Kirby: Camping World of Raleigh was a great experience. Hunter was our sales person and very knowledgeable about the different platforms they sell. He helped us find an RV that fit our family. Gin was also great in helping us get everything finalized for our purchase. Overall great experience in buying our first RV. If you are a first time buyer like us, bring your patience. The process takes a bit longer than say buying a car.
manuel fernandez: I went to this establishment looking for information without knowing anything and CHEYENNE took care of me, she was very attentive and helpful, she knew everything I was asking her and she made very good suggestions based on what we had discussed, she was very professional. she made my visit informative and fun, I would definitely give her a raise...!If I decide to buy an RV, I will 100% look for her to help me make the best decision, excellent service from her.It feels very good when you go to a place and you feel that the person serving you is genuine and enjoys what they do, the tour was very good, thank you very much Cheyenne.
Horace Meacomes: Just purchased a new camper from Camping World. Cheyenne listened to our ideas about what type of camper we were looking for and showed us several that fit nicely within our wishes and towing capabilities. Everyone there was extremely accommodating to our needs and made the whole purchasing process almost painless. Thanks to the Camping World staff for helping us get our new camper. Looking forward to many years of happy travels.
Clifford Lewis Jr: We had a fantastic buying experience at Camping World Raleigh, and we were treated like family. We first visited on a very busy Saturday, checked in with the front desk, and waited until a salesman was ready. After just about 30-45 minutes, RANDY greeted us and asked us questions that were specific to our needs and wants. He never pressured us into buying nor doing a credit app, and was very patient with us and our toddler. The negotiation process was very easy and everyone involved treated us with a lot of respect. We had to schedule another day to do the financing and come back for delivery, but again everyone was understanding and patient with our schedule. The finance process is also very relaxed and not stressful at all. The entire company presents themselves with professionalism, and they don't portray themselves as salesmen which is a plus.RANDY went above and beyond with everything, even going as far as to actively interact with our toddler and he treated him like he was family. We also had other team members offer our son toys to keep him occupied, and it was extremely refreshing. The corporate office of Camping World should be proud of this location and how they all handled themselves while we were there. We will definitely visit again for supplies and any service we may need.A+, 5 Stars, Two Thumbs Up! Just exceptional!
Chuck Fogle: Nice store, good selection
Jenny from the block: Buyer beware! Worst customer service ever. Screwed up my VIN number, won’t call me back after they didn’t communicate that they added thousands of dollars in extended warranties. Drove an hour and a half to pick up the travel trailer and they didn’t have it ready. This has been going on for a year. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.
Derrick Gravely: My wife and I had a terrible experience at our local camping world in Virginia, so we decided to make a three hour trip to this Camping World and it was an entirely different story. Randy, our salesman, worked fast to get us in the camper we wanted in less than 12 hours..he far exceeded our expectations and made our experience well worth the commute! We dealt with Randy and Sal (both 10 out of 10!), but everyone there was friendly and super helpful. All the way to our walkthrough with the service team, Daniel did a great job showing us all about our new camper! Great experience!!
Eileen Fleming: My husband and I had an excellent time purchasing our first travel camper. There were never any unanswered questions. Jeff Davis was very professional yet made us comfortable with the purchase. Everyone at the business would check on us. Very comfortable doing business with Garner Camping World.
Luz Haddix: My husband and I just purchased our second camper with Camping World. Our first experience was amazing. The staff was very welcoming, especially Sal, thank you Sal. Now, as I said this is our second Camper, and the experience was just as amazing. We were treated with the utmost respect and they were extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. They truly guided us through the whole process. We are very happy with our whole experience. Thank you Camping Word. Sal made us feel like family, you are the best.
Jeff Trudeau: Deanna was a wealth of knowledge and she made us feel like family right from the start. My wife and I were clueless in what we wanted but Deanna broke down the Travel Trailer buying experience into simple choices that made sense. She gave us enough information but let us make the decisions. She is not a pushy salesperson and made me wish all could be just like her. A+++ for Deanna and Camping World.
Mo Roland: Cierra (bdr) said they accepted boats as trade ins. Supplied NADA value for my boat and their RV. Bill of sale. All details on my boat. She said they had everything they needed. 3 hrs later, I checked in. She said they needed trade in forms. Sent copies from 1983 Minolta to print, sign and assuming fax back. Lmao. No fillable forms to expedite sale. Went thru Julia, Sal, Sal's boss. Julia puked up they would give my wholesale for my trade in. Sal said he'd call me this morning and texted at 5pm with an insulting 'offer'. Sal's boss made an equally insulting offer. Thank God NADA keeps these thieves honest.
Ryan Pritchard: Thanks Joe Sammons for your helping with my trade. The finance team was a great help as well.

Shaw RV Raleigh: what do users think?
Joyce Wallace: In April, Shaw was the only dealership in the country that I could use to purchase the camper I wanted. FYI, the dealership is a mobile trailer unit, the service center is miles away from the sales trailer, and the parts department is a small building across the street from the sales trailer. Not a true cohesive dealership in my opinion.I purchased the camper sight unseen (only web site photos) by communicating via text with Johnny who was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I drove from northern NY to pick up the camper in mid April of 2023, and they were ready to take my cash without even showing me the RV in person first. I had to ask to inspect it prior to handing over a check. The RV had a few minor dings and inside scratches, but overall is fine. There really wasn't much of a walk through per se, and I had to do my own inspection of everything and ask questions. As a single female who has never owned a RV before better communication would have been appreciated. Luckily it is a very basic RV and the manufacturer has a good web site with great information on it.It has now been 2.5 months and I still do not have my title and registration. I have spoken with Jonathan in finance two times, and have a third temporary registration. It took him five days to mail me the last temporary registration, and I had to cancel a camping trip and incur a $34 cancellation fee because I did not have it in time. I spoke to Beacon (who they use for out of state registrations) myself today, and they stated they still don't have all the documents they need. Shaw charged me $76 for the extended aggravation, and I would recommend you insist on registering your own camper.
Axel Granholm: Johhnybos super friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. Great selection.
Mike Hart: Absolutely GREAT place! If you've had an RV or Camper you know very well how bad service usually is. These folks are turning that around! We've dealt with multiple dealers over the years and Shaw leaves them all in the dust! Absolutely top class service. Danielle is an excellent advisor as well and is relentless in getting the work done that's needed. I felt valued and appreciated like no where else!
Derek Hazelwood: Shaw’s parts dept was really awesome when I needed them to most! They helped me find the part I needed fast and go me on my way!
Lee Royster: Hello, it was very ñeat but not welcoming..There is plenty of stock so you need help looking over the massive yard. They have what you need In the RV world.
Amanda Deal: Due to a change in their company policy we can no longer do business with Shaw RV Raleigh
Jen Lambert: This is a long list of failures by Shaw RV warranty and service, these are the most frustrating, but trust there are many more. Our couch broke on our first trip within 2 weeks of getting it, we let them know and proceeded on our trip over the summer, because of course we wanted to use it. When we brought it in we were told because we didn't bring it in the first 30 days it was no longer under warranty? We brought the camper to them October 12th for a panel repair, winterization and several warrantied items that they had known about since the summer, but we had plans to use it up until then off and on. Well, we didn't get back until over 3 months later. So it sat out in the weather, meanwhile we paid for our covered storage that would have been protecting it. Guess what we had to pay extra for? Roof repair. Now I understand that parts can be on backorder but why when you know something is coming in for warranty work do you not have the parts ahead of time?Well, now have our camper back and the water cap didn't get put back where it belongs AND our water heater didn't work. Why? My husband was told it was "good to use"? They didn't put the water heater element back correctly and it looks like it was stripped and this is where he found the missing water cap.Find somewhere else to get a camper and service work done because this is a s**t show,!
Evelio Bartolo: Great experience!!!!!!!
Brandy Hall: Was very helpful and kind with a HUGE selection. Highly recommend! 😊
C C: We bought a Springdale from Shaw. The sales department was great. The service department was lacking as others have mentioned. Overall a good experience and I would buy from here again.
Rideshare Stormchaser: Best prices within 100 miles.
Kimberly Sefcik: Had a great experience looking at campers here, Johnny is a great salesman, knowledgeable and friendly!
Tony: Our experience was one star. Shaw has a great reputation andeveryone at the dealer was fairly easy to work with, but there were a few major problems in OUR experience that I want to share so anyone else doesn't have the same. We bought a used 2021 class C motorhome in May 2022.1. They sold us a RENTAL motorhome after we specifically said we did not want to buy a used coach that had been a rental. It was the first question we asked our sales guy. We did not find this out til about 2 months after purchase, kind of by accident. (We eventually found the company and website and pictures of our RV posted as a rental.) I don't know how they missed this, but it is a pretty big deal for us. We've had to deal with many small maintenance issues that are probably a result of excessive wear and tear from a unit that was used a rental... see #2....2. Always have a 3rd party inspect the RV before purchase. This was our mistake - I'm not saying Shaw is necessarily responsible for many of these issues, but since we were coming in from out of state we took Shaw's word that they had done a thorough inspection and everything was good. We found so many small, frustrating things that could not have been noticed on the walk through. For example, the slide didn't work after the walk through (after we had driven out of state) - we had to take it in for service in our hometown and they found a hairbrush stuck in the slide. Lots of loose, missing screws, etc. Broken vent cover, broken drain cap, radio/speakers don't work correctly, refrigerator issues. When I looked on the roof during inspection I found a loose screw on the roof. One of the associates said it was probably just left up there - we ended up finding out one of the vent covers was broken and missing that same screw. In another example, one of the air lines on the air lift shocks was clean cut in half. We definitely understand buying used is NOT new, but it has been very frustrating and has taken a lot of time and $ to address a lot of these issues. We have purchased an extended service contract, but many of these issues aren't going to be covered by that, or reach the amount of the deductible. Again, not sure if this might've been from excess wear and tear as a rental.3. Handle your own registration - they had miscommunication/ missed emails with their registration company. Our registration docs were not actually sent in to our state DMV until 8 weeks after we purchased it. This would not have been figured out on their end unless we had called to find out why we had not received our plates.Again - Shaw has a good reputation, and the people we dealt with were always friendly, but we wanted to share our experience so no one else has any unexpected issues with their purchase.
Kristina Shaffer: BRAND NEW 5TH WHEEL. 1 YEAR LATER.. FIREPLACE NOT WORKING!
Diane Jones: We purchased a travel trailer from Shaw RV last August. We went to their “winterization class” on 11/12/22. The entire set up was well organized and presentation was excellent. We decided to have Shaw RV do the winterization. Danielle (Service Advisor), answered all our questions and the service was done in a timely manner. Thank you Danielle!!!
Michael Elliott: Shaw RV rocks! Their staff are friendly, knowledgeable and polite. We wouldn't take our RV anywhere else for service.
Linda Smith: We recently brought in our 5th wheel for some recall work and and some other repairs. We had Danielle O’Neal as our service advisor and let her know we needed to have the RV back by a certain date. The manufacturer was a bit slow with approving some of the work and Danielle stayed on top pushing for the approval. I spoke with her a couple days before our scheduled pick up and asked if we could have the tire sensor system installed and she was able to get the it done. Danielle went above and beyond our expectations. Danielle is definitely an asset to the Shaw RV team, they are lucky to have such a dedicated employee.
Leigh: Shaw RV provided exemplary service during a pretty stressful time for us. We are avid campers and had a major issue occur with our travel trailer. I called Shaw RV and talked with service advisor, Danielle O’Neal. Danielle was amazing to deal with. She was very professional and listened to our issue. She worked with us throughout the whole process and was just amazing to work with. Good customer service is the backbone of any good company and Shaw has this in Danielle O’Neal – she has a way of making the customer feel heard and know they will be taken care of. Danielle goes above and beyond and Shaw RV is lucky to have her. Their whole team worked together to resolve our issues and we are definitely part of the Shaw RV family now.
Kim Mitchell: They went out of the way to find the perfect place for us. I think they could have offered a little more as far as throwing in a starter set up kit or chemicals to start you off. It would have made the sale more sweeter for the customer.
Paul Campbell: There were obvious warranty issues that should have been caught by the dealership before allowing the traveltrailer off their lot. A service representative should be the representative that looks over and goes over all functions of the camper instead of the parts manager. There is definitely room for improvement in pickup day for customers. The warranty items are being addressed and hopefully resolved soon. For our initial purchase, Ricky our salesman was great to work with and I dare say you'll find a better salesman. I would definitely buy from Shaw again.

Outbound Offroad: what do users think?
Lisa White: Rented through Outdoorsy. We rented the 2022 Boreas XT for a long weekend. The camper was great. Comfortable. We took it to South Core Banks NC (cape lookout lighthouse) Thank you Graham great doing business with you. We had a blast!
John Hatcliff: I worked with Graham at Outbound Offroad to purchase a Boreas XT off road camper in the spring of 2021. Graham was extremely helpful and efficient, and the entire process of setting the specs for the camper, completing the payment, and taking delivery went very smoothly.Regarding the Boreas XT, when I became interested in getting an off road camper in 2020, I spent about six months collecting tons of information on what I considered to be the top 10-12 manufacturers/models from the US and Canada. I finally settled on Boreas because of several factors related to the design and quality of construction, including: no wood in the construction, fantastic suspension and hitch set up, ability to support a roof-top tent, the ability to carry a small dirt bike on the trailer frame, quick setup at camp, and the trailer dimensions allowed storage in my garage. From the outset, sales manager Adam at Boreas was very helpful in discussing the options by phone and then meeting with me to do an extended in-person walk through of campers at the Boreas manufacturing site. Due to the trailer build schedules and allotments, based on advice by Adam, I made the purchase through Outbound Offroad. Graham did a great job of coordinating with Adam for me to actually pick up the trailer in Colorado (which is closer to my home). Overall, I highly recommend Boreas for both the quality of their product as well as their outstanding service as well as Outbound Offroad for their excellent service.
Kevin Entwistle: Rented a Boreas XT trailer through Outdoorsy from Outbound Offroad. Graham was great to work with, he and his wife went above and beyond to make sure the trailer was ready, clean, and had everything needed for a great trip. Literally only had to bring food and clothes, everything else needed was provided. Pick up and drop off times were flexible. Will definitely be renting from them again!!
Robert Hendrickson: So far customer service has been exceptional and very clear communication. Order placed.
Gil Ballenger: I’m extremely happy with my XT. Graham was a pleasure to work with, kept me informed every step of the build process and answered each and every one of my stupid questions within an hour. The build quality and amenities of the XT are tough to beat. All that and it follows my Land Cruiser wherever it goes (most often far, far away from people). It’s nice to be able to camp for extended periods where most can’t even go.
Robert Franke: Very informative, friendly answered all my questions.
Jonathan Emerich: Purchased a Boreas AT from Graham and very happy with the service and speed at which he got back to me on answering my questions. Very helpful and all around fun experience in dealing with this company! Would deal with again if looking to do any upgrades to my camper.
Tim Barrett: My family and I rented the Conqueror UEV 490 for my kids fall break. The Outbound Off-road team was really great to work with. The trailer was easy to pull and performed great for us.
Cedrick Calza: I have had my eyes on one of these trailers for a while. So once I found Outbound Offroad, I was pretty excited. The reservation process was easy and straight forward. During the pickup process, every bit got covered and I didn't reallt have any questions since Graham covered everything. The trailer made a huge difference for our experience. We will definately be doing this again, I'm not sure that we will be able to go back to ground camping!
Greg Inks: From a husband that loves to camp and go off-road, drive a Jeep, and explore very remote locations, I have conflict with a less-than-enthusiastic-spouse when it comes to all things camping (no shower, no bathroom, no heat, no electricity - no way!). While I have been able to get her out camping with me, I have always had to find locations that had full facilities (bath, kitchen wash area, and services for electricity / telecom). So when I decided to take my family to try camping in the desert of Arizona - she was an empathic "nope". Enter Outbound Offroad! The Conqueror 440 from Outbound Offroad solved my largest problem - how to make my spouse comfortable! This rig has it all! Comfort with rugged off-road capabilities! We were able to go to some very remote locations where there was no grid (and sometimes no road!). We had a shower on board with the UEV 440, had hot and cold water, a full kitchen, and heat / ac! These elements may not be something that a grizzly outdoorsman needs... but they are often something that our spouses need... and had we not been able to find Outbound Offroad and the UEV, she would have rejected the trip outright. Our family spent 5 days / 4 nights out in the desert, seeing the beauty of the Grand Canyon, the vast emptiness of the Arizona desert, the remote reaches of Lake Powell, and the geological splendor of Antelope Canyon - and we would NOT have been able to see all of this with hotels, nor in primitive tent camping. The advice, trail guidance, and preparation from Outbound Offroad made this trip easy... we picked up the trailer and were off, armed with the data we need to find a spot to setup for the night, and the advice we needed to maximize the sites we saw. If it were not for the UEV and Outbound Offroad - my reluctant spouse would not have done this trip and we would have missed out on some amazing memories! This trip was the best we have ever done, and we are already planning our next trip - less than 2 weeks after completing this one! It changed my wife's outlook on what camping can be!

RV One Superstores Raleigh: what do users think?
Shannon Kidd: For a few months we were shopping for a smaller camper to pull behind our jeep. I found what we wanted at RV One in Raleigh. After a couple of changes in campers (the kept selling the ones we wanted) they finally located one and had it delivered to Raleigh. We drove from Maryland to Raleigh to purchase and take it home with us. RV One was fantastic through the whole process. Customer service there was great. They were not pushy with the transaction. They were quick with all then they need to do to get us on the road. I will definitely purchase our next camper with them.
DJ Trigg: Everyone was extremely helpful and the whole process was exceptionally smooth. Both my wife and I felt fully supported and they really did an awesome job on the walk through.
Timothy Currin: This place is great. Victor greeted us and let us take our time looking at the campers. After we had picked out a few we liked he walked with us, giving us pricing and his recommendations. Sat down later and answered any questions and gave us an estimate on what the monthly payments would be. After dealing with Camping World this place is a nice change.7/8/23. Called to see about having some service done. Even though it was later in the day, they said to come in. Not only did they see me on short notice, but they also took care of my service and had me out the door in no time. Now that's customer service.
dawn hymel: Datreana was excellent in helping us with our purchase of our camper. Hazzle free, if she didn't know the answer, she found out right away. Left there with no stress and they spoke the truth. No beating around the bush to make a sale. Highly recommend.
martey miller: Nice place, they had a nice selection of RVs. We are exploring options right now.
Anthony Laizure: If you live in the Raleigh area and need a RV this is the place to go. The entire team was incredibly helpful from start to finish. My sales person took the time to listen to our needs and help us find the perfect Jayco. The GM Cody with a pleasure to deal with and help us get the best deal. Highly recommend RVOne Raleigh!
Jessica Robison: Hide the prices on the website so you get 1 star. Be upfront.
teresa siebert: I would like you to know that the service department at your store in Benson, NC is a big disappointment. I bought a 2022 Thor Gemini 23TW in July 2022. I had a recall letter, the lock on the cabin door was lose, and the house battery smelled of rotten eggs. It took me almost 2 weeks to get an appointment after leaving messages, talking to anyone that would answer the phone, I finally received a text from Josh about making a appointment. I took the RV to the Benson store on 12 May 2022 to have 3 things done. 1) the recall, 2) the lose lock on the cabin door, 3) the battery checked. On 22 May I texted the number that Josh texted me about making the appointment. I continued to text and called everyday sometimes multiple times leaving messages with whoever answered the phone. Finally on 7 June 2023 I received a call from Josh saying he emailed me a estimate. I check the estimate and it was for $896.18. I was confused as to why I had such a high estimate. They said the battery was not covered on warranty and that the RV needed a full inspection to include $90.00 to fill the tires with air. I asked about the recall and he said it was cleared. I asked what the recall was for and he said it was cleared and didn't know. I said I would not be paying for any of it and went the next day to pick up the RV. I picked up the RV and they charged me $38.22 for fixing the lose door lock and inspecting the battery. When I asked to speak to the manager and came and offered to call interstate battery to see if they would warranty it. I said no thanks you have had 3 weeks to do that. This is my fourth Motorhome and have owned 3 Thor class C RV's dating back to 1998. I have never been treated so bad after spending over $100K for a RV and especially one that I have not even owned a year.
Anthony Bunting: From browsing the lot to find a camper to meeting with Datreana, my sales person, and actually finalizing everything. The process was super smooth and so easy. The paperwork with John was a breeze despite there being a lot. Everyone from sales to service is absolutely phenomenal. The service department is one of the best. I’d definitely recommend RV One Raleigh to anyone. From first time buyers to camping vets they’ll exceed expectations just as they did for me. Brian M. did the work on my camper and he assured me of everything. Everyone was super professional.
Rai Anne Miller: "First time camper owners." Wow! What overall great customer service! Because we are first time camper-owners, so we knew very little except what we could research, which was figuring out exactly what kind of camper we wanted before we walked in the door, but there is so much more than that when buying a camper. We originally ordered from RV One Superstores - Raleigh back in February from a Salesman named Victor. He said it would take 6-8 weeks to take delivery. At 9 weeks, we called him (had to leave a message) to find out what was happening, and after a few more phone calls, found out that the unit was on its way the following week. The receptionists were always nice about the calls. Victor then told us it had arrived and that John would be calling us to to schedule an appointment to take delivery. We waited another 10 days, then gave up waiting and just showed up and found John with our paperwork in his hand walking out the front door about to get started on reviewing our unit (good timing - eh?!), so we went with him! It was exactly as we had hoped for! So happy! After getting to see our camper and talking with John and mentioning things we'd like to "someday" do, he made some suggestions and let us know our options, and we decided on several add-ons (slide-out awnings, etc.) and that's when we began working with Josh in the parts and service department - who is great. Although he had some trouble with his computer and had to put in a ticket to IT (we are all familiar with that kind of situation), Josh still effectively communicated with us in a timely manner (very professional) as to our costs and timeline, and true to his word, gave us the written estimate as soon as his computer was working again - and it said exactly what he said it would say. We scheduled a delivery appointment for a Friday at 1pm, but it was raining when we showed, and we didn't want to do it in the rain, because we had a lot to learn. But that is when we met Josie, another sales person, and she was really helpful in pointing out that we would need things like a power surge protector, and a water pressure regulator, screens over our furnace exhaust to avoid mud daubers, etc. She was VERY helpful in making sure we were properly prepared, on several fronts. (And bonus: she is one of those rare sales people who doesn't talk down to you!) Anyway, we ended up taking delivery on a Monday that was nicely sunny! Brian was our delivery guy, and we felt sorry for him, because although he had 2 hours to teach us about all of the hook ups, switches, and nuances of our unit, we ended up consuming nearly 4 hours of his time asking about things like, "What is the weigh rating for the stairs? The floor? The slide-outs?" Can you show me again how to hook that _____ up?" Brian was patient and professional. We deeply appreciate his customer service skills. And then we are back to the service department: Josh and Rich are really people you can count on to treat you in a manner that makes you feel like you've become a member of a trustworthy family. They answered many, many questions about the various products on the shelves in an honest and forthright manner.Things like Rich helping us (when requested - he isn't pushy) put together an emergency repair kit should we find ourselves having trouble late on a Saturday night, etc. Once we got all of that done, we then were back in John's office, officially purchasing our camper! He made the process of signing LOTS of documents feel painless, and actually pleasant! Not many people can do that. We really like John. And after about 5.5 hours on the RV One lot, we were finally ready to go home! Bottom Line: Cody (the General Manager who came out to meet us), has a good team who will help you.We hope that if we ever have to bring the camper in for repairs, that those future experiences are as positive as our experience was in taking delivery!PS. Briauna in Services was extremely helpful 4 days after delivery! She is awesome too!
Jason Riegle: These folks have some of the most knowledgeable, honest and friendly people in the industry. Cody, Jon and Amanda are amazing! They took care of my wife and I when buying our first travel trailer while taking the time to explain the differences between each manufacturer. HIGHLY recommend the professionals at RV One Raleigh!

Mike Nicholson: We bought a camper here a couple of years ago. The people have always been friendly and accommodating, even two years later. We are glad we bought here.
Gail Cody: These guys are the best!! Anthony the technician was so accommodating, made a lot of changes for me, downloaded apps and even connected my phones for CarPlay. Carolina Camper Works, LLC: what do users think?
Everett J. Smith: Great campers
Cindy G: Teresa and Anthony were absolutely wonderful with our camper purchase. We got a sunset trails 253RB and absolutely love it. They walked us thru everything and how it all worked and answered all of our questions. Can't wait to take it out Sunday to Jordan Lake!! We Highly recommend them for their knowledge and customer service as well as parts and installing a new ceramic higher toilet for us and hooking up our tow hitch to the camper and making sure we are 100% safe driving off. A smooth ride and got it home safely. Even texted Teresa a few times after we were home and she was quick to respond. Our little dog approves as well, we knew she would love it. 🐾 Looking forward to fun camping aka Glamping adventures in our fabulous RV!! Thanks again guys.👌
Robert Wilson: Took my MH here with a leveler problem. Pre authorized $600. They said they spent the money on 4 hrs. troubleshooting. They claim 50 yrs experience. No better off than when I took it there. My advice to you is stay away from their repair shop. In my opinion they are incompetent to troubleshoot ( anyone can change parts). BTW, when I got it home I found module in 30 minutes. Took a gamble and bought a replacement. Levelers are working fine now no thanks to them.
Gregory Heimall: All Staff very helpful ! 👍Great Person.
Danny Burdette: Just upgraded our camper , we really enjoyed working with everyone. They were friendly, easy to work with. Made the process easy, thanks.
Joseph Moore: Never had any dealings with this company at all. After contacting several rv dealerships in my area with no help I called CCW. Teresa went above and beyond to help me find a part. Not having the part she told me where and how to get it. Most places i find if you didnt buy from them then your SOL. I will be dealing with them from now on Thanks
Donald Rogers: Carolina Camper Works helped me by providing me with the proper hitch for my vehicle. They are an authorized dealer of Anderson hitches.
Barbara Mooney: Awesome experience!!Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
latasha ortiz-Rose: Very pleasant lady, helpful n informative. Truly looking forward to doing business with this company
Jesse O'Neal: Very friendly staff who took the time to educate us on what we needed, not forcing the most expensive item on the lot to push a sale. Great staff
Julia Jordan: These folks absolutely know what they are doing. We bought a 33 ft. Braxton Creek travel trailer from them summer of 2020. Teresa was The Best and treated us better than our family does. We had to make some improvements to our property in the mtns and so they stored and kept an eye on it for months before we could move it. We did not have a heavy duty truck to tow it with so Teresa made that easy too. She recommended a very professional towing company and we were very satisfied with the move too. They winterized everything before we left and the owner did a very thorough final inspection and oriented us to all its features. I would highly recommend this company if you are in the Carolinas and looking for a great deal on an RV. THANKS CCW!!!
Brian Tomlinson: I love this place not only as a former employee but because they arrive to serve every customer with great products at a fair price. I refer everyone I know to Carolina Camper Works for the care and time they devote to their customers needs. They simply listen.
Graham: Caveat emptor! If you are considering using this place for warranty service, be aware that they do not disclose that there is an additional $60 "processing fee" for handlng warranty work. I was surprised with this fee when I went to pick up my rig. They claim it is for the extra work they have to do to call the manufacturer and order parts. After the event, they stated that they do not charge this fee if the rig was purchased from them. Check out other repair shops before you drop off your rig here.
Janice Gulick: Always feel welcome. They are incredibly patient with sharing knowledge and walking thru everything. We will recommend to all of our friends!
Ram Navy: Carolina CamperWorks repaired the suspension on my 37 foot fifth wheel. They installed wet bolts and brash bushings replacing the totally worn out OEM nylon bushings. They did the work at a fair price and handled all the parts ordering. Although I didn’t ask, they found and also adjusted the brakes that were badly in need of adjustment. Thanks for a job that was done well...V. K. Watkins
Susan Myrick: I called to see if they had a RV mover they could recommend. Don was amazing. He was so thorough and checked everything before he pulled out. Very patient in getting it set up just so. If you need a mover then call for his number.
Debra Dennis: We are loving our new camper. Everyone at Carolina Camper Works is so helpful and always there to help us when we have any questions. If anyone is looking for a great camper or RV, this is where you need to go. You feel like you are dealing with family. Love you guys thanks for always being there for us. The Dennis Family.
