Hilton Raleigh North Hills: what do users think?
Charlotte Oakley: Certain employees of this location are not.... The best .I phrase it that way, To be nice..The incidental charge the make you pay over the hotel stay, some people only pay 20 others 50.I was is in the $50 category. And employees slipped up and said something about a $20 incidental hold. That's when I said but I paid $50 everyday. The reason I was checking in and out everyday my vehicle broke down. I didn't know when it was going to be fixed so I had to make a reservation each day so every time I checked in and checked out it was another incidental hold. Then I realized I wasn't getting my incidentals back. They printed up paperwork they cannot show me where they were releasing my money. So almost a month worth of incidentals. At $50 a day.... my truck will finally be fixed in the next 2 days. .and as mentioned in another review this is not good by Hilton standards. But well worth the price line discounted rates . Housekeeping is great people!
Alin Bennett: A really great hotel. Two things were annoying. The wifi is not good. 1) I had to use my hotspot most of the time. 2) they rent their pool out to at least two swim schools. I was trying to relax on my vacation, but had to listen to a dozen of young children scream as they were learning to swim. The latter is a deal breaker for me. I won't be back...

christine: Came for a family reunion was not pleased at all. This might as well be a pet/dog hotel dogs were everywhere no set floor for people who don’t enjoy dogs 😔. Not only did I also get stuck in the elevator for 3 mins the woman at the desk told me it was because of the storm I would think they would shut them all down if this was the case but they also allowed others to get stuck as well after it was brought to the attention of staff. During our dinner session not only did they have the iced tea set up 45 mins before dinner so it would be watered down by time we would have arrived. Also the paid bar left 2 hrs before the time slot was up. You guys also need a better system for your breakfast and have the correct dates when you give the vouchers during check in. Please also work on customer service there was only two woman who made this trip worth while the rest need a customer service course. This overall experience was super 8 value with Hilton prices. I wish I could get my money back. Horrible experience
Quanny Grimes: This was a very nice stay ! It’s very convenient to all the shopping areas and food. The only thing I didn’t like I was the elevators kept getting stuck. Other than that I’ll recommend this hotel !Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Dark Seraphim: If you come between 2-4 on a Friday expect a small wait for Check-In. However, the staff is very professional and the hotel itself has been updated within the last 5 years and is very clean, modern and comfortable. Obviously, there's no microwave in most rooms but, there's one available on each floor. Solid Hilton that meets expectations.

England: I decided to stay here for a few days. I haven't stayed here in years. This place needs a complete renovation. Apparently the lobby and restaurant area was only renovated. The rooms are very outdated. The carpet and furniture stinks and gave me a very bad headache. The floor I was on was hot and apparently the air wasn't working properly. The internet services wasn't working properly either. This is not a place I would choose to stay at again. Big dogs were walking around everywhere. They were in the eating areas just very uncomfortable for me. I personally don't like to eat around animals.

A RAS: -Be careful about bugs, there were lots of strange bugs in my room when I complained they send a guy with spray to kill them , no action to identify the infestation cause and fix it-The breakfast service is so bad, the lady that works there definitely hate her job, she is disrespectful and it takes forever to do anything.DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL !!!!!Rooms: Bug infestedFood & drinks: Tribale services
Brenda Morataya: It's pretty and the people are *very nice*However, the beds are about as comfortable as the floor and it was disappointing to not have room service from the restaurant downstairs.
Kamisha B: I just left this hotel today and I already miss it!! Beautiful layout. Beautiful room. Loved the shower. Pressure and temperature was great. The restaurant Flask & Beaker was amazing…dinner service that is!! Jayona was thee absolute best & she made our stay awesome! If this review makes it to her…please tell Jayona her “Jersey Girls” already miss her!

Pablo del Aguila: El precio-oferta no es proporcional. Esta cerca de la universidad, lo cual es una ventaja para algunos.
Lois Petersen: Beautiful, newer hotel located on the campus of NC State University. I had room 401, a spacious corner room with huge windows overlooking landscaping on one side & the city on the other. Everything is clean and well stocked. Outdoor heated pool, workout room & restaurant with bar. Some rooms overlook Lake Raleigh. What really stands out about State View is the service. It has been quite a while since I was greeted with such sincere welcome and hospitality at a hotel. Staff are very professional and accommodating. I have no complaints at all and highly recommend.
George Yorgakaros: Lovely hotel and where my partner and I stay every time we're in Raleigh. The rooms are clean and the hotel is nice - but where StateView really makes the difference is with service. Every person I've ever met at the front desk has greeted me with a smile and has been extraordinarily helpful. At the bar, Mimi went above and beyond even after they had closed to grab me an iced tea - a simple request, sure, but one that definitely put her out, given they had already closed. The fitness room is well-equipped and never crowded and the pool is comfortable and has plenty of outdoor seating above and around it.
Rene Bystron: As an Ambassador Elite member at Marriott, I've stayed at many of their properties. Unfortunately, Stateview Hotel is not one I can recommend. The hotel's physical aspects are decent. The rooms are okay and the dining staff is friendly. However, the management's lack of customer service and efficiency taints the overall experience.I ran into a problem when I asked for a simple request: to include both guests' names on the folio. I was assured by the receptionist this would be done. It wasn't.Despite my follow-up emails, I received only generic responses from a manager named Nakyla Barnes. They were quick to apologize, but my request was ignored. It's been three weeks now, and I'm still waiting for that folio. It's clear there's an issue with the mid-level management at this hotel. Their indifference towards customers' needs is shocking. If Stateview wants to improve, they must address this.In conclusion, Stateview Hotel is a letdown. If you're a Marriott member, I suggest you consider other properties.
Monica Tornros Jakobsson: We stayed at the Stateview hotel for 3 nights, and we wished we hadn't booked so many nights. Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Breakfast was so so. Rooms were way too dark. Bed did not suit me, it was so hard. My back was so stiff and I ended up sitting in the futon for the most of the night. There was of course some positive things too. Pool area is really nice. Location is great.
Brandi Myers: Very nice hotel and venue on the campus of NC State University! I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my clients!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Hyatt Place North Raleigh-Midtown: what do users think?
Daryl V (C7 Fan): Room needed a little updating. but the hotel is closing down in a few months. Staff was very nice and professional. My wife did leave an article of clothing that no one seems to have found after we left.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Monica Kissam: I have stayed in Hyatt many times and always had a good experience until now. This hotel is run down and in need of improvements. The door to my first room wouldn’t open so staff had to assign me to another room. The furniture and carpet have seen better days and the room could use a fresh coat of paint. Pass this Hyatt up.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Carliss Hardy: Based on the fact that my friends and I will never get to stay here due to poor planning and communication by this hotel, it’s only right that I give it one star. But it’s not like the one star review will make a difference because they’re SHUTTING DOWN…literally in over a week on Sunday, March 13th, per an email my friend received (she reserved the hotel rooms) TODAY!Not only were the rooms at this hotel booked months ago, they were booked for the biggest festival weekend in April. The only thing sent was a vague email with no additional options or assistance given. Poor customer service. We’ve never experienced anything like this.We would like to hear from the corporate office, but we probably won’t since this review page will be closed in a matter of DAYS. What a mess. Now we’re left scrambling to find another place after we did our part early on. Surely Hyatt didn’t just find out today that their hotel would be closing permanently. I’m not sure who dropped the ball, but the customers shouldn’t have to pay for it.
Jorge Plaza Ycaza: Buen desayuno 👍
CHRIS DOMRES: We live in Raleigh and had to stay in a hotel while our house was getting work done. Our experience at this Hyatt was the desk clerk gave us a better room rate than any online rate we could get. The rooms are clean and modern. But the beds were very hard. I had to bring my memory foam topper from home to be able to fall asleep. The wall are very thin so expect to be able to hear every conversation in the halls. The room doors lack any closer dampening mechanism so all day long you hear doors slamming shut. We were told the room would have a microwave oven. It did not. The beds are next to the AC/Heater. It sounds like a Mack truck. We turned it off at night. Fortunately the weather only got down to 50 at night when we were there. If you need to sleep with it on, bring ear plugs. Outside walls are thin. The construction next door had a steam roller running and the room acoustics seemed to be tuned to the 40 hertz rumble. I had to wear ear plugs a few hours during the day if I was stuck inside to cope with that rumble. You will hear any heavy trucks driving by.
Michelle McDonald: I always enjoy our stay here!! We have stayed numerous times since 2017 for various reasons. It's pet friendly and that's another big plus because our small dog travels with us. The rooms and common areas are always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good....they offer a few snacks (which are delicious) and water and soft drinks for sale at the front desk....wish they could go back to selling beer at the front desk....I'm assuming covid changed that......but there is a small refrigerator in the room....
jdrawles60509: Very Nice Hotel!!! Especially for the price!!! I definitely would book with them again!!!
Bilal: Got a king suite with a tiny bathroom
Alisha Wood: MoldWater off for 12hrs each occurrence
Erina: All the staff are very caring and nice. I was able to spend my time there comfortably. Thank you!!
Eve Barnett: Clean rooms and quite
Tracie: Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was subpar but overall no complaints
Christianna Solara: Service was great here. The staff really make a difference
Renee Booker: Don't stay there. They have tire scam going on there. Stayed there 2 nights 1st night tires were slashed on my brand new car..Several other guests was hit as well. There is a Tire Discount store literally a block away and Several sports tournaments in the area at the time...put a real damper on my stay no apologies from the establishment just referrals to the Tire place.

Candlewood Suites Raleigh Crabtree, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Andrew Gaeta: As an over the road trucker, I often look for extended stay hotels when I get one so I can use the in-room kitchenettes. This hotel has a very nice kitchenette setup compared to others I've been to, it's a nice clean hotel with friendly staff. The only issue I have with service is I found the Candlewood Cupboard at this one I found to be both lacking in product selection and overpriced as compared to other Candlewoods. The location while it is a nice area is right next to possibly the loudest street I've slept near in Raleigh or any mid tier hotel for that matter.Like all Candlewoods it's pet friendly and while others I've been to often have pet welcoming packages this one does not. That being said, they have much better yard space to walk dogs at. The pet fee is also a very cheap flat rate of $75 as opposed to other hotels where you pay a nightly fee.Note that Candlewoods nationwide don't offer daily suite cleaning, only doing this once per week of extended stays. You can request additional service, but bear in mind they expect people to temporarily live in these hotels. Personally I find the lack of a daily housekeeping service preferable, leading to less disruption. All in all, I would highly recommend this Candlewood to anyone seeking an extended stay hotel in Raleigh.
Cheryl Jordan: We stayed here three nights and would do it again. It is centrally located, clean and quiet, except for the guest next door banging the door while checking our. Austin, I think that's her name, is outstanding. The hotel is walking distance to great restaurants and a large mall.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More

illWill “Âzazel”: Me and my fiance and my senior American Staffordshire Terrier have been staying here for close to 3 months Id say. This place is amazing, we were staying at Extended Stay and were loyal to them for over a year & hf until we were harassed by employees and management alike. We stay to ourselves and we haven't had any issues with the staff they are polite and courteous when we see them. They provide services that are a Godsend like laundry and bathroom amenities that we don't have to come out of pocket for. That is a blessing in itself. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Candlewood for all that you do & going above & beyond the call of duty. That's what I call "Hospitality"Noteworthy details: They offer free washing dryers for guest.
Star Shea: I don't understand why this place is rated so high.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
D Miller-Bell: Food & drinks: It was okay, booked via of our friends. If we knew they didn't offer Breakfast, we may have chosen another location. Just keeping it real.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Timothy bulleman: Worst bed I have slept on in a long time! Do not stay here if you have any back issues! Top it off with a cancellation fee of $103 plus the cost of going to another hotel. Truly I have never had to cancel a reservation Due to a bed. I kept my wife up all night and if I had a decent chair in the room I would have slept there. I am going to eat the fee and get a good nights sleep at the Hampton inn down the street! Sorry, I have also never left a bad review but it’s needed to save someone else the trouble.Noteworthy details: Horrible beds! It was clean and staff was nice. Price was good.
Burnzone A.L.: I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean. full kitchen stocked. Bed was super comfortable. Hotel was quiet. The girl who checked us in was a an absolute doll. So helpful! Outdoor patio with bbq grill. For the price I would have expected much less. Will definitely stay here again.
Jo Brady: This is an older facility (you can always tells by the layers of caulk in the bath, lol), but clearly money has been invested recently. The most important comment I have is that the (king) bed is incredibly comfortable!!! Unlike competitors (M****tt), the bed is AWESOME! The property is maintained and quiet. Full size fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove. Bathroom a little dated and ceiling fixture is dim. Room is spacious. Would definitely stay here again!Rooms: Room is large studio, recently refurbished and well done. Well laid out and traveler friendly. Bed is SUPER comfortable! There’s a recliner in the room, along with desk chair and kitchen type chair. Full length mirror.
Michael Welch: Love this place. The rooms are so clean. All rooms on the 1st floor have no carpet. Rooms are cleaned very thoroughly (no nasty little hairs left behind in the tub or around the toilet either) they actually come and clean your room once a week like they say they will, unlike some places that say they do and then you have to go ask for it to actually be done. Every single person that works here is super nice and helpful. There's a little store with snacks and necessities. Free coffee, it could taste better but it could also taste worse. They have board games and a few kitchen appliances that can be borrowed. Free laundry. And, it's by apartments for people 55 and older so it's peaceful and seems to be pretty safe. Been here for almost 5 months and no complaints so far.
Charles Williamson: I am a Diamond Elite IHG member and I booked a room using my points for my 18 year old daughter and her friend She was attending the Stevie Nicks concert. When she arrived they would not allow her and her to check in because she was under 21. We live over 2 hours away. So that would of meant her having to drive all the way back late at night. It’s sad to know that a customer that stays over 2/3 of the year in IHG properties would turn away there daughter only because she is 18 years old. Which in the United States considers a legal adult. What if she was broke down and had no were to go. You can’t depend on this company to take care of your kids!
Hannah “Baby snake” Lynch: If I could give more then five stars I would. The staff is so nice. The price is reasonable The room is extremely nice and spacious. It’s quiet and the people are nice that stay here too. I’ve been here for a little while and I don’t mind having to stay for a while at all. It actually feels like an apartment. Again it’s clean and the staff are amazing.
Johnnie Coleman: Nice room and affordable price. Microwave, stove, and Full size refrigerator is a plus.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Liam Firebird: Rooms were great. A bit dated but very comfortable and very clean. Checkin was great and staff were super helpful and friendly. Would stay again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Derek Rumfelt: Nice clean rooms with a full sized refrigerator, recliner and kitchenette. Darren at the front desk was extremely helpful and personable and really got our stay off on the right foot!
Kevin Mathews: Overall Rating: 4.9/5. This hotel sets you up in your own personal apartment room. My room was set up with a kitchen (No oven, but other goodies)! They supplied cooking equipment so that I could cook a basic meal AND keep leftovers in the large refrigerator. Don't worry about washing dishes in the sink because there's a dishwasher. The rest of the room and bathroom were in great condition. It felt clean to me. I would have rated a perfect score but I felt that a few surfaces in the bathroom could have deserved more attention. A minor complaint for a one night stay. Will positively return again.Food & drinks: Close to an outdoor mall with restaurants and bars.
Gerard “Uncle Gerry” Rosso: Decent hotel for the price point!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Joy: A favorite accommodation of my husband and I. Cordial staff. No breakfast but the one bedroom suite we prefer is always clean organized fully equipped kitchen full size fridge within the very nice galley style kitchen- dishwasher top stove microwave- paper towels dishwashing detergent and dishwasher washer detergent. We buy items and stick in the fridge- cook or heat in the microwave- dishes utensils glasses available. Larger appliances like a slow cooker air fryer etc available just to sign in at the front desk. Two televisions in the suite which is nice for us bc we can look at different venues or no tv at all. There is a door that be closed - to the living room area - creating privacy if needed. The one bedroom suites are located toward the ends of the hotel making it just steps to the parking area. There is a complimentary laundry area adjacent to the fitness studio- sundries laundry items available for purchase at a small kiosk at the front desk area. The hotel is secure with a key only access even after dark at the entrance. Situated in an area many conveniences available- mall’s hospitals major airport several major highways and routes.
Dontez D “Biggdaddytez” Johnson: This is one of the best hotel's that I've stayed in and they have everything there and the mall is right across the street grocery store is right around the corner the bank is right next door it's the bestRooms: Very luxury make you feel right at homeNearby activities: Mall and grocery store movie theater

Frankie: We were attending my wife's annual Family reunion. This year it took place in Raleigh N. C. This was the hotel that was picked for the weekend family reunion . All inside festivities and the family dinner . My wife enjoyed the hotel and the surrounding area so much we extended our stay for an extra (3) days. The service is outstanding starting with the Manger Cory .Rooms: Our room was very comfortable, clean and had great lighting.Nearby activities: There are many great shops that you can walk to and shop or window shopSafety: It was a very safe area we did lots of walking around and sometimes into the late evening and the streets had plenty of lights and people walking biking and running.Walkability: This was one of the best parts of this area. You could just walk out of the hotel and everything was in walking distance .No car is neededFood & drinks: There are plenty of places to eat. There are places for great three course dinners and places for a quick bite.
David Dobbs: Beds were uncomfortable worn down too soft. The shower was awesome, very powerful. A/C was a bit noisy. Nice clean hotel. Great view of Raleigh skyline.Easy walk to nearby restaurants.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
swathi nakka: The service was very bad. No body lotion in the bathroom and have to call for that . I was asked to come down and pick it up. No house keeping for two days and the reason was they are short on their staff. They didn't even tell me thus at the time of checking in. I found a paper that had that information slipped under the door when I woke up. The water from the toilet tank was leaking and the entire bathroom was flooded. When called for the service, the answer was they have one engineer who is working onsite and he is busy, will come and attend on priority bases. I was in the toilet the next day getting ready for the shower snd someone knocked the door, even before I responded he just uncloed my door from outside a d was about to come in, I quickly dressed up and it was the engineer who was impatient and wanted to get his job done . So he can actually get into the room without my permission. Even the cheapest motel will not have this kind of pair service. This place is just overrated and a rip off.
Fredrick Powell: Rooms: Rooms are clean and spacious. Large TV with somewhat outdated streaming software (limited to Netflix and Showtime). Very comfortable bed.Walkability: Right in the middle of North Hills shopping area, you can walk to a dozen restaurants, a movie theater, and a Target.

robert ames: Good location, clean room and very comfortable beds.Staff was very friendly and helpful.
D Gillespie: Nearby activities: Restaurants, shopping awesome 8 minutes walk longest to fine dining.Shoppinh, just steps from exit.Walkability: Wonderful
William Hawkins: For the price you pay to stay here, this doesn't offer a good value. The beds had a heavy comforter and a sheet, but I'd prefer to sleep under a lighter blanket. The pillows flattened and I needed three. It wasn't the most comfortable, and I think a $100 room at a chain would have been better.I had to pay $10 for basic wi-fi access. Also, breakfast is an additional cost that is overpriced for what you get.It is close to a good number of restaurants at least.
Fay Fletcher: This hotel was perfect for my weekend getaway! The decor and pleasant employees were a plus. The location is top tier, with all the stores & restaurants that are within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here if your looking to park the car and walk to all the hit spots nearby. 💎
Mike Hill: Great Hotel with food and shops all within walking distance!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
S S: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.They canceled my reservation when I arrived saying they were overbooked. What hotel does this? It's like flying now?Never again.
Clarice Ward: I am local to the area so I was very excited to stay at the hotel; North Hills is a top tier location and there is much 'hype' about the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, but they seemed a bit frazzled. I was also only provided verbal suggestions on where to park and how to access the hotel from the parking garage, a printed map would've been helpful. The room was...disgusting. There are stains on the carpet yellow stains on the pillowcases but, the bathroom was the worst - there was a huge toenail on the floor, hair on the toilet seat, in the shower, and on the floor. The bath mats were also dingy. The housekeeping manager was overflowing with excuses and the housekeeping staff looked disheveled. Cleanliness is a major issue at the hotel, but apparently Marriott management is oblivious. This is NOT what I expected from the hotel. It claims to be a 4 star hotel but it showed more like a 3 star. The stay was definitely not worth the price tag.Based on my recent experience, I'd advise to skip the hotel and enjoy the wonderful dining at the surrounding restaurants instead, lodge somewhere else.
John Schmeling: Beautiful hotel. Lots of good shopping and delucious restaurants nearby.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh Crabtree: what do users think?
Don John: This is probably the worst hotel I stayed in recent years! Too many problems. Let me elaborate:1. At check in, the front desk gave me the keys to a room which was already occupied by an african american gentleman. I opened the door with the key and found him very disgruntled. Went back to the front desk, got new keys to another room. But, I booked a 3 nights stay. The new keys only worked for one night. Next morning I can't open the door with all of my luggage and belongings inside. Went back to the front desk, the black lady went up to 5th floor with me and opened the door. She said I opened the door incorrectly. In the afternoon, still can't open the door. Then another front desk person admitted they mistakenly checked me out already, and reissued the keys.2. One elevator is broken. We have to walk all the way to the end of the hallway to get on an elevator, then walk all the way back to our room which is located very close to the broken elevator.3. carpets in the hallway and room are dirty4. At the free breakfast, someone who looks like a homeless person, came in with big plastic bags. He loaded those bags up with all the free breakfast food, left very little for the hotel guest, and left. That was a white person. The hotel clerks just looked on without saying anything. My advice: Even though this hotel is cheap, avoid it at all cost! Or, you will regret it.
Jacorey Brown: 0/10 would NOT recommend. My friends and I found a lot of roaches during our stay. The manager seem indifferent to the situation. Afraid to eat breakfast due to roaches. It was a lot of trash in the hallways (full trash bags and fast food bags).Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Jill Harris: I stayed here a couple years ago and it was ok then, just checked out tonight due to their being ROACHES in my room and on the bed. The elevator is broken, the deadbolt on my room door did not work at all. The receptionist seemed bothered I was checking out, and didn't have any response to their being roaches in the room. I got the impression this wasn't the first time they've heard that. DO NOT STAY HERE!Edit: after leaving in a rush in my PJs due to ROACHES, la quinta proceeded to charge me an extra $75 fee out of the blue?! DO NOT STAY HERE. WORST HOTEL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EXPERIENCED IN A LONG TIME
joseph steele: They are short staffed but done a excellent job taking care of guestRooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Rachel Robinson: This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. PLEASE listen to the 1 star reviews because my two night stay was a nightmare!!The room was very humid, smelled terrible and was extremely dirty. My room key stopped working 3 times and the receptionist for that shift was sleep behind the counter. The bathtub was so dirty I gagged when I saw it. The room and whole hotel was humid and our AC stopped working multiple times. At the end I was refunded for one night because this was awful. DO NOT BOOK HERE thx ;).
TippandDale Cobb: We booked a king deluxe room and instead of getting what we booked we had been downgraded to a queen double bed. We walked in the bathroom to find feces on the floor and things out of place like they had already let someone stay in the room and they did what they did and then decided that they didn’t want to keep the room so no one went and checked to see if the room was clean.Rooms: They are a great size just need upgradesNearby activities: The mall and Frankie’s are not too far awayWalkability: Close to the mall
Fnoigy Rutherford: What a dump! Dirty, moldy, smelly, and in significant disrepair. $135 was a total ripoff! But hey, at least the front desk staff gets plenty of sleep on the job.Noteworthy details: The toilet seat was PEELING.
Tiffany Quick: Nastiest hotel I have been too. Bugs in the room. Nasty refrigerator and dirty stains on sheets and the couch was horribleRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Tomas Rodriguez (T-Rodz): This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Being a long time La Quinta patron, saying that my family and I were disappointed is a gross understatement. I am going to list everything that made this stay one of the most inhospitable places I've stayed:1. Sheets were dirty and had stains on them.2. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion bottles, only bars of soap.3. Broken back door which seriously compromised the physical security of this establishment.4. Trash and garbage in the elevator, which broke down during our departure date. Also the primary elevator was out of commission. I had to exit the 3rd floor, with my luggage in hand, in order to check out.5. People staying there were openly smoking on the 5th floor.6. The breakfast service was substandard at best. Trash was overflowing, there was no coffee available, and food options were lacking.7. The floors on the tiled areas were sticky and had the appearance of not having been cleaned in days.I would have had a more enjoyable stay sleeping in my car, with my family, in a Walmart parking lot than what I went through. This place needs to be torn down and remodeled with a whole new staff hired that actually cares about hospitality.
J Stephens: The hotel is in a good location however the service here is almost non-existent. The floors are dirty, the breakfast area is never cleaned and all the tables were a mess with the same food on them from the day prior. When you can actually find a staff member they are always rude and upset you're asking them for something. The elevators don't work, the keys constantly have issues. I travel for a living and this is one of the worst hotels I've ever been in.Noteworthy details: This hotel is disgusting and the staff (when find one) including the manager doesn't care and are always inconvenienced by your mere presence.
Emily Scheumann: Don’t be fooled by their cleaver marketing. The pictures they post online are nothing like what the rooms actually look like. We arrived pretty late in the night and it took the front desk person forever to come out from the back room and actually help us. It was probably hard to hear us saying hello over the volume of the TikToks she was watching.Once we got to our room, we realized that the locks on our doors were’t very secure and the bathroom was disgusting. Overall, I do not recommend staying here.
John Gibbons: Facility needs attention. Pool not in service, elevator out of order. Trash cans near doors not kept up. Rooms in good shape is what matters and staff was kind.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Yao: Lost my charger in the room and they didn’t return and even searched the room.
Brian B.: Don't let the outside fool, the room is very nice.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Brandy M: Made an online reservation… arrived at 10:30… waited in lobby until 11pm…. No one came to the front desk to check me in and no one answered the phone…. And they have a strict policy that they will only accept cards with chips as the ONLY form of payment. My chip is broken.

Brittany Green: Beautiful hotel, great staff, excellent breakfast options! Highly recommend!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ro Dancer: BEWARE: light sleepers! Sunday night there were garbage trucks (which manager Rosalind acknowledged pass by) at 3 am. The trucks went clamoring on until about 4:30am. These trucks were also heard by 2 other guests I talked to at breakfast. In addition, the walls are very thin - when someone slams door in hallway, it sounds like its in your room. There is a lot of construction going on in the area. I did not hear the trucks the second night. The management team on site did not seem to give a hoot. Actually the young girl at the front desk was downright indifferent, as was the manager Rosalind. I think they have enough turnover to warrant this attitude. I definitely was disappointed by their lack of empathy and customer service. Totally was disappointed. I would not stay here again!
Jackey Hong: Good hotel, not bad service. I wish I could give 4.5 stars but I decided to give a 3-star. Why?1. Bring your eye mask with you. The curtain is NOT black out. See picture2. Noisy flushing bathroom toilet. It is LOUD and really LOUD. By prepared to wake your loved ones and people in the next rooms in middle of the night.3. AC cover falls... huh? Yes, the all 8 screws are loose permanently.
Lekan: Excellent location for couples singles or family. A bit of everything. The service on point . The rooms are clean and well stocked. This will be my go to hotel in the Raleigh area for sure. WiFi and breakfast complimentary and the nice lady at the bar serving drinks in the evening were a plus,Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Dan Kout: The service help was very nice during my lengthy stay. The breakfast was average or less. The shower stalls are good with grab bars, non skid tile and wonderful shower heads. Check the sloppy cauking around the base.Rooms: Nice sized suites and the beds were just right in firmness. Thank you staff for replacing pillows with non down.

Teej Spence: Great place to stay. Location was a 10/5 beautiful scenery. Everything was great. Room was nice , although shower door was hanging 😂 still nice shower bathroom was clean room was clean. Continental breakfast wasn’t so great but there are a lot of other breakfast spots around the hotel so no big deal. One staff member was a tad rude but it was late we all get a little irritable when it’s late. Had an amazing time I WILL DEFINITELY BOOK AGAIN!!!
Marcus M.: Very friendly staff, clean & affordable!
Adam Fishman: Basic and clean Hyatt located in a very nice park of Raleigh.Nearby activities: Restaurants. Grocery. Bars. Park. All steps awaySafety: SafeWalkability: Perfect locationNoteworthy details: Not sure why it's rated excellent.
Tammy Beaulieu: Scheduled a company summit with Abbie (the hotel event planning manager) and all of our needs were met. She was flexible and amazing to work with. The staff at the front desk was also accommodating and friendly. We had a great week because of the hotel staff.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Sid Raj: Room number 621 called as the hair dryer was not working. Got a new one which didn't work either. Called again, no replacement. Called again but 1-hour hold. No response for more than 90 minutes passed. Going to sleep without a hair dryer. And no response. Not expected, felt not welcome here. They can tell us straight to the face that they can't help. Unfortunately, stores around are closed. So can't buy any. Thanks for the awful service. Hoping for rest of the days don't go as worst.
Joel Kronk: I booked this hotel along with my family, but our flight was cancelled. I cancelled my reservation and called to reschedule it for the next weekend. They are still charging me the cancellation fee because I cancelled, when they admitted to me on the phone I wouldn't have been charged if I rescheduled without cancelling. Won't be staying here and the rest of my family won't again either. Awful customer service.
Shadasia Lewis: I love Hyatt brands and this was my first time at a Hyatt House location. I absolutely loved it. With the small kitchen area, it works great for extended stays. The kitchen was stocked with all utensils, pots, and pans. The hotel was nice and clean and in a great location. There were restaurants, grocery stores and nail salons in walking distance to the hotel. I think there is designated parking but I was able to get a spot right in front of the hotel. Checking in was a breeze. Lobby area was inviting. Past Hyatt stays I’ve been asked do I want my bottled waters but wasn’t this time. The breakfast in the morning was decent. Food wasn’t that hot which was surprising because we were the first ones down there. Pretty good selection though and breakfast staff was very friendly. I missed the bar so I wasn’t able to get that. The snack area was convenient for some late night cravings.
Joseph Tan: If not for all the fantastic persons that work there, Hyatt would not be hyatt. Breakfast with Yonette was wonderful. She other staff greeted us warmly. The breakfast buffet was constantly replenished and cleaned. The front desk persons were helpful, kind and friendly to us and our son. We are happy throughout our stay.Business oriented with a strong side of family friendliness. Many restaurants within spitting distance and there's even a Harris & Teeter.Rooms: Rooms are clean with everything you need to cook a solid meal. You can save lots of $$$. The bathroom is large and brightly lighted.Beds and bedding are comfy.Safety: We let our 6 year old run around up and down all over without any worries. Staff are always around and looking.Walkability: Restaurants and everywhere closeby.

AC Hotel by Marriott Raleigh North Hills: what do users think?
Whitney Knight: I always have a top notch experience at the AC hotel!! At my most recent visit I was greeted warmly by a new associate by the name of Natalie Smith! Natalie is a great asset to the AC hotel! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about things to do in the area! Thanks again for a wonderful night!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Craig Stoltzfus: Nice hotel in an area with a lot of restaurants. Rooms are really nice and modern. Rooftop bar with not much of a view. Nice fitness center with 2 Peloton bikes (pedals have cages, so you can wear regular shoes ust login/logout) . Valet parking only, which can be a pain when the area is busy. Breakfast service at the rooftop.Nearby activities: Many dining options in walking distance.Food & drinks: Rooftop bar
byron matthews: Clean and a fantastic rooftop bar!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Matt Snead: The room where too dark. Great location for restaurants & shopping.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Martin Sutton: The valet was exceptional. The lady at the front desk was preoccupied. The bathroom had very poor lighting and there was no telephone directory to give me the numbers for valet, front desk, etc., etc. We did receive complimentary breakfast vouchers.Walkability: Good location
James Caddy: I don't know what is going on in the lobby. But there's some kind of air freshener or whatever...it smells like stuffy old men.Once you go anywhere else, it smells like a regular hotel.Also.The sliding bathroom door was weird and offered basically zero privacy if you were sharing the space. You can totally see the room if you are in there and I imagine you can see inside as well.I don't know why the sink isn't in the bathroom.Because...."Let me brush my teeth in front of you honey.... That's romantic."There's like a kitchenette area with no microwave, the sink and the mirror are right there and the refrigerator only goes to 43 degrees. So whatever you want to drink is not going to be cold. There's also no alarm clock.
Barbara Campbell: Great location, very clean and comfy. Staff friendly, honest, and helpful. I even mistakenly left my diamond earrings in our room after check-up and housekeeping found them and put them aside until I claimed them! Very much appreciated AC Hotel staff.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Brady Conijn: Great locations but rooms aren’t nice. (Sink doesn’t drain, toilet kept bubbling, really small)Update: Don’t be surprised if house keeping wakes you up before 8 am day of check out when room is yours until noon.
Jim Codling: Rooftop bar is a blast
William Scott: Great place to stayRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
miguel flores: Super fast and professional service. I was able to check in early, and they got me straight to my room! Be careful coming here! The vibe and lighting will have you making baby number 1 2 3 4 etc! The rooftop bar is awesome as well!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic …More
Leighann Breeze: Stayed on a Saturday night. The hotel didn’t seem busy but the surrounding area was very crowded. Parking was a pain but we got a spot on the 5th floor of the parking deck, located across the street. There is valet parking as well. Our room (218) was fine for sleeping on the night we came but if I got it again I’d ask for a different room. It is closest to the elevators and faces the busy road outside so I could see it having potential to be very loud on more rowdy nights. But, aside from 1 siren, the street noise didn’t bother us, we brought our own white noise for our baby.
Rebecca Whitt: Very disappointed in this AC Hotel. No information in the rooms on wifi, breakfast, how to reach front desk or anything.I gave it 2 stars because at least when I called from my cell phone to the main number to get the front desk, they promptly had someone help me.Would not stay here again though.
Roxanne Lorimer: Clean efficient service close to a lot of restaurants
Tristan Ramer: Great place to stay! Rooms are modern and clean. Staff was excellent.
Bartoldus Family: Room and location were excellent. Disappointed that as a bonvoy member they did not offer any amenities. At a typical Marriott with status, you would have access to a lounge or a credit for breakfast, but not at this hotel. At this location, they had a small coffee bar at the front desk, but they charge you for the coffee. Cannot remember the last time I paid for regular coffee at a hotel (unless it was a Starbucks). They also did not offer the standard welcome gift for bonvoy members.

Echo Mountain Inn, 2849 Laurel Park Highway, Hendersonville, C: what do users think?
Mike Cannon: The owners act as though the guest are an inconvenience. It also seems that they lack the gift of hospitality. To say that they are unfriendly would not be a accurate description but friendly towards their guest would not be an accurate description either. While showering I was constantly jumping to remove myself from the pathway of alternating scalding and frigid blast from the shower head. While having dinner our table had a bottle of water for us but our waitress never poured or offered to pour us any water. I ordered a bottle of champagne for our party. The waitress brought it out and it was already opened. She then sat it on our table and walked away. It’s unfortunate that the owners don’t show more enthusiasm towards the guest. Could begin with a smile and a hello.
