Buy the cheap stuff from Amazon. Without a license, you don’t deserve to potentially put us hard working professionals in a bind because we aren’t able to get our essential items. Ty Ty: I would have loved this store if it sold to the general public. The fact that you have to be a licensed cosmetologist to purchase these items are very ridiculous. I can go to Sally’s beauty, Amazon and other nail supply websites to get nail supplies with NO problem. What if i was a self taught student that wanted to train on a mannequin hand (an item that they sell) that is in the process of getting my license?……. Now i can’t purchase any training equipment for me to practice on….. what if i want to cut the cost and do my own nails? Now i can’t buy any nail supplies here because I don’t have a license. There are a lot of professionals out here without a license and a lot of “professionals” that do a horrible job. So if they don’t lift that restriction of selling only to “professionals” then their business is going to suffer as time progresses. Especially now that nail supplies are sold online…..

J M S: I want to say during Covid19 time the store has been so welcoming (PIKE BEAUTY) to beginners without a license and I only wish the best for the store and to shut down PRINCESS NAIL supply store ; because it is unpresident that people need a license there are many states as Connecticut and California and now to legalize in South Carolina, North Carolina certain parts of North Carolina do not require a license so it really is a shame that PRINCESS NAIL supply store requires a license please shut them down thank you.

I like the owner Duc a lot he is nice guy and very knowledge sometimes little arrogance but I still like him and his staffs. Their products lines are very limited especially OPI products and IBD gel. Prices on some items are from 10% to 20% higher than the competitor in the area but they offer 10% off voucher for next time if you pay them cash. I am so glad that they just put a hair booth in there last year. It’s very convenience for us while I shop my brother and son get their hair cut there. They like Mr Chau and his cut a lot. Mr Chau is very busy 6 day a week. You have to make appointment otherwise a long wait. A draw back is he doesn’t take cards so remember to bring about $30 cash. Overall we like to shop this place a lot. It’s spacious and friendly atmosphere.

Not only that, the table was the dirtiest I have ever seen, along with all the tools. There was a centimeter of other peoples nail dust covering the entire station. The tools were absolutely filthy. Seriously looked like no one had cleaned that table in days, if not weeks. I wish I was exaggerating!There was no trimming of cuticles, or whatever prep that comes with a manicure usually. My daughters nails were off an hour later! Went back the next day and the managers Henna and Alan blamed me, the customer, for peeling off the nails. That makes no sense. I am beyond upset that my daughter’s experience was ruined! BEWARE THEY WILL SWITCH OUT YOUR GEL POLISH FOR REGULAR POLISH!

Kate Ramirez: I’ve been twice. The first time I went and I did a fill in on my acrylic nails I had a guy and he was so rough on my nails. He hurt me a good ten times, they came out bad. I was with my mom, she had the best time with one of the ladies so i was happy about that and I told her I’d take her back soon. We went back a couple of weeks ago without an appointment and got seated in like five minutes and we were never told we would be waiting an hour for someone to come to us. They did constantly check on our water and made sure it stayed hot and gave us drink so I didn’t say anything. Finally someone came and did my toes in under 20 minutes. She didn’t do them good but I don’t like to complain. Finally my mom got this lady that couldn’t smile or ask how she was doing. Ok.. she was being rough and constantly moving her feet to position them. Fast forward a week later both of our nail polish already chipped and our feet very rough. I won’t be going back my first and second time were both bad experiences. I had a terrible experience in this location but above all with Mrs. Cynthia!I went into the store for a few things, suddenly I heard offenses and the voice tone was getting more and more. Elevated by one person (Cynthia)Until “ I hear, come and take care of them, I don’t know why they ask if they don’t understand”. That’s when I realized that something was wrong. When the older man (buyer with his wife) turned around with difficulty, they wanted to explain his question to the cashier (Cynthia) again and she only rolled her eyes with annoyance. I approached with all due respect and offered him my help in interpreting the gentleman’s question. With an attitude she told me I DON’T need your help. The gentleman told me that he just want to know which Hair dye color is darker. I asked her that question(being products that I am not familiar with). She just looked at me without answering and then said “don’t you don’t see what the box says, read”. She yelling at me, giving me faces of racism since I’m Latina too.Me trying to defend them and me since she was verbally aggressive. After explaining to the gentlemen, I told her that they wanted to continue with their purchase when she began to give me a worse attitude, to say unnecessary comments like it was not necessary for us not to buy there and for us to leave. What kind of employee pushes away a costumer, like this?The gentlemen completed his purchase, they left the store. I stayed to keep looking for what I was going. She followed within minutes on the same isle where I was. Whispering continues to talk about the uncomfortable situation laughing. Until she said “they don’t even have a green card.” I believe that no human being deserves to be treated like this and make you feel like garbage, as if our money wasn’t worth it. I hope the manager does something about this since they have a lot of bad reviews and Cynthia is a very big factor OF BAD REVIEWS of this store.

Sarah Smith: I shop sallys all the time in other areas, never once worn a mask due to medical exemption. No one has ever said a thing. Walk in to grab nails at this location, and lady was so rude. I couldn’t even just purchase the nails in my hand, while she’s masked behind her plexi glass, probably vaccinated and I’m the only one in the store. I haven’t worn a mask in a year, due to getting extreme migraines, and asthma. I will never EVER come here again, I don’t support businesses that don’t support medical freedom. I’ll stick to the other locations with outstanding customer service 😘
P. Cope: Very rude staff in this store. Amazon has better prices and no "lip" from workers. If you need to visit a store, go to the Sally’s at Triangle Plantation on Capital Blvd. The manager and staff at that store are kind and helpful.

Andreica Martin: I've been shopping at Sally's for a while now. This is the first location that I found where the customer service was exceptional. I was told in detail about the rewards program (which I've had for a few years...where previously the cashier would sign me up and not explain.) I was told about the phone app. And I thought greatly finally a location where I get the full customer service experience. I go in Sally in spend in excess of $50 to $100+ when I shop. However, my last time there will unfortunately be my last time. This new thing of paying $0.15 for a brown recycleable paper bag for my purchases was a no go. I spent $98 and was given the option to purchase a bag. It is a insult to walk into a store spend almost $100 on products and then have to walk out with my purchase in hands because you want to charge customers 15 cents for a paper bag. I have the jumbo reusable bag (that isn't a paper bag) that I paid for on a previousvisit. But on the off chance that I forget to bring it with me, I shouldn't have to carry my purchase in my hands to my vehicle or be charged an additional 15 cents...in addition to the $100 I am paying for my products. Do better!!!

Its taking them around 4wks to arrive from their online store and when it comes your mostly likely not going to get everything you ordered.Go to your neighborhood beauty supply store instead.

Teresa Jones: This was my first time visiting this place the hair that I got I still have one now it was a lace front braids. The lace laid with no problem, looks very natural. I’m actually happy with the results of my lace front, and I actually installed it myself. They were very helpful there. They do have employees in the back to help you which I feel is very helpful and they are very quick couple of the employees very funny so they do have a sense of humor there that I find very pleasant and welcoming and they are very knowledgeable about the hair. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments and I will be going back. Thank you.

Charlene, I believe she is the manager, is very welcoming. She always asks how I have been and remembers my son and ask how he has been every time I go in. That kind of personal customer service is priceless. The younger girls in the store are great! They are very knowledge with product and always willing to give a helping hand. In all my time of coming to this store, I have never heard Charlene, Kim, Lawren or Selenia complain or see them in a bad mood. In an industry such as hairdressing, where a supply house is needed, dealing with associates such as these ladies is always a welcoming experience! I live in Garner, where the Cosmoprof is just a few miles away. I have found myself going out of my way just to get my products at Salon Centric. Thank you ladies for all you do!

I had misunderstood when my order would be ready and I sent it to the wrong store, but the lady working last night pulled up my order and got everything ready for me before I got there. She was so sweet and I really appreciate her doing that and reassuring me that it was okay!! Thanks again so much!!!

Jessie Hughes: While I love that professionals have a place to walk into for our salon needs. There is literally never enough Pravana at this store. I know it’s not totally their fault, however there is one member of the staff that when I placed and order was completely rude and unknowelable about why my order wasn’t complete. She had no desire to fix it at all. This is exactly why I would much rather go through my rep who is always on top of things and always had great customer service.

Phoenix Lei: I love EVERYTHING about this location, from the staff to the superb service. I've been shopping here for quite a while, but today I want to commend the team, on how they graciously adjusted to the craziness of COVID-19. They're always pleasant when I call, they always answer the phones (even if we may have to hold), and they are extremely knowledgeable about their inventory. The ordering process via phone is as seamless as it could be, and they make pickup convenient. I'm certain, COVID-19 came out of nowhere, but they are handling all of this so well. Once we are able to return to somewhat normalcy, the team need a raise, and 2 weeks paid vacation atleast!!! Tabitha Keeter: This store is very convenient to me however I usually wind up having to buy colors from all different color lines just so I can get what I need for the week. I usually dread going into this Raleigh location because I know that it will not be stocked and most likely not have most of what I need. Most of the time I visit the Rocky Mount or Wilson store because they are always fully stocked but like I said this one is convenient to my house and to my salon.

Ileah: Arrived at this location at 3:55pm on a Wednesday. Saw an employee standing outside the store talking with someone before walking away. When I approached the door, it was locked with the lights still on and no sign on the door indicating why or for how long the store would be closed. I waited in my car for 1 hour to see if the employee would return and open the store but they never did. The website and hours listed on the door stated the store did not close until 7pm. In that hour, over 30 people approached the door but we're not able to get in.
Shekke Pinas: You have the most customer unfriendly employees at this store. Not a hi, hello, welcome and not even eye contact ever. It's the 3rd time I've been in there and the treatment was absolutely unfriendly. Will not be returning, I'll just make my way to the wake forest store and see if their customer service is better.

Terri Rivenbark: Last week I walked into this location completed hysterical. I had chunks of hair falling out from over processing. My hair is my signature piece. I was devastated and in tears. Lea was unbelievable. First she talked me off the ledge. Seriously, I was a mental mess. She calmed me down. Then she led me through what my hair needed. She got everything together and finally, she wrote out a timeline of what, how and when to do everything. HOW DID I FIND HER?!?!!?!?!? Sally's is incredibly lucky to have SUCH a caring, knowledgeable employee. I will never go to another Sally's location again. She is beyond amazing.

Autumn King: Returning customer to Sally’s! Today I was helped by GiGi! She was so stylish and fun and found exactly what I needed at the drop of a description! Super professional and so fond of this location! Nothing but good vibes as soon as you walk in the door! Love the new employee there as well! Today was her first day and she has great customer service skills and was so eager to learn! LOVE THIS PLACE!!Went in to Sally’s as a first time customer and was delighted by the wonderful and attentive customer service! Sydney helped me out so much with any questions I had about the process and picking out some of the best products for the job!! Really appreciate the help and will definitely come back! I commend this Sally’s on their employees and training and especially Sydney!! She rocks!!

Oudi Bazzarie: Awful customer service, the staff is both completely rude, incompetent and unprofessional. I went there on the 27th of February at 4:28 p.m. I got a Sallys membership card and paid $5 and a few days later I returned and during the checkout I was told I had to renew my membership because it expired. (In only a few days!) They also refused to refund me until I got my recipt. The next time I went there I had a cupon that said "Good for one item". I told her specifically to "apply the cupon for THIS item" and when I looked at the recipt she applied the cupon to the cheapest item I bought rather than the one I requested. When I went back to her so she could fix it and she tried to say that "the computer automatically did it" and how if she had to change it, it would be a "lengthy and tedious process to go through" and when I made her do it and explained how she should have done it in the first place she begrudgingly agreed to go do it she began to huffing as she was going through the process. After giving them 2 chances they gave awful customer service both times. Save yourself the time and money and never come to this place filled with such an incompetent staff that doesn't even understand the basic concept of customer service.
Brooke: Worst customer service ever! I called ahead to see if an item was in stock before driving out to the store. The woman who answered the phone told me they did not have the item. She did not suggest calling another store nor looking online. Desperate, I went to the store anyway thinking there is noway they are out of my item. When I arrived I found three different brands of the exact item I had JUST called about. This location has lazy staff that know nothing of the beauty industry.

I’m a loyal customer to Sally Beauty and her attitude is just unacceptable. That’s why good workers quit jobs because of people like her. I am very disappointed and hope I do not run into her again.

Idolatrous: When I walked in, I was greeted and even asked for help, which is nice but soon after browsing the store I overheard the manager harassing her employees about small things they were supposed to doing. The employees looked miserable. I felt so bad for them. Whoever the manager is needs a reality check because she is talking down and being passive aggressive with her employees! They are just kids! I won't shop here again until she is gone. Might I add she doesn't know ANYTHING about hair? I was asking her simple questions about hydration and retention and her responses were, "I'm not a beautician" and "I heard it was good". How does that help me, as a customer, buy or become interested in a product? I don't support businesses that employ managers that bully their young employees, it is not acceptable. I also don't support businesses that employ people who don't know anything about what they sell!

Jessica Gecsey-Ray: I don't go to this location that often anymore, but I prefer morning hours as Sally stores are small and there's a lot of products from hair color to make-up. Also, the associates are usually able to help you more efficiently the less busy it is. I stopped in for nail adhesive tabs, that they didn't carry. However, the associate did help me with the different other type of nail glues they offered. The parking can get tight too on the weekend as it's just a busy shopping center anyhow. A tip is, if it's really busy, park in the lot adjoining that strip mall that's the lower lot of the Wal-mart.
