The Melting Pot: what do users think?
Kim Gallaway: We had a great time! Our server was Dee, and she was the best server I've had in forever.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Oliver Lett: Flower was the best waitress we could have asked for. She's so intelligent and engaging. The atmosphere is enough to get you excited for the food, but she added some special magic to the experience. She deserves the best/ even a raise or promotion!! 15/10 experience ❤️Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
jillian harvell: I usually always have a good experience here, but yesterday really has me questioning if I’d want to come back here. We had a reservation for 4, got sat around 4:10, didn’t see our waitress until 4:30. There were two other tables sat after us that received drinks and even the start of their meal before we even saw our waitress. No apologies were given for the wait, ordered everything all at once when she came. Finally got drinks about ten minutes later, wasn’t until around 5 when we actually got the first course. She brought everything out already premixed which was odd, every other time I’ve been they mix it all in front of you explaining what’s all in it and make a show out of it. For what you pay here between the slow service, not even getting the full usual experience, and just the lack of enthusiasm or energy from our waitress, it really was not worth it the time. On top of that, the entire time we listened to employees yell, laugh and talk from the back with total disregard to people trying to enjoy their dinner. One of the other waiters did check in on us during our meal, asking if there were any extras we needed which we were grateful for because our waitress didn’t really check in after dropping our premixed stuff off. Our drinks were empty for 10+ minutes at a time, and we were sitting a long time in between courses waiting. Usually the staff is super attentive and friendly and put on a good show, but yesterday was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had there. Disappointed and feel like I overpayed for an experience that wasn’t good at all.
Thelma Borbas: Our server, Flower, was amazing! Guided us through everything and full of funny stories and anecdotes. We chose the Pacific rim and the steak platter as our entrees. Yummy! So much food, but just a bit at a time. First course was cheese. We chose Quattro Formaggio. So delish! They brought bread, veggies and apples to dip in the cheese. Next course was salad. They allow enough time between courses that you're not rushed. We were there for about 3 hours. The entree course was next. You cook your own food! 😮 Steak platter had three different types of steak, while the Pacific rim had tuna, duck breast, shrimp, steak, and pot stickers. They also brought veggies with it. They do allow you to take leftovers home but you have to cook them before you leave. Finally, dessert! We chose bananas foster, which were flambeed right there. So cool! It tasted like a cinnamon roll. When we go back, we will definitely have to try chocolate!! They brought rice krispies, Oreo covered marshmallows, brownies, Blondies, angel food cake, bananas & strawberries to dip. Amazing meal!!!
Madison Fulghum: I liked the atmosphere and the employees were very friendly. I just wished they would come by the table a little more often.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cheese Fondue, Caesar Salad, Dipping Sauces …More
Asylum Darkness: Just such a great experience! My gf and I came here with our friends and it was like no other. My gf and I shared the Bigger Night Out For Two, and it was all just so delicious. The teriyaki steak was out of this world. And the chocolate fondue, amazing. The presentation of the Yin Yang is so cool, the Flaming Turtle and the Banana one were out of this world. On top of that, our server Flower (I hope I'm not misspelling it!) Gave us the best service I think I've ever had anywhere. She was so bubbly and conversive with us, we never needed anything she was always on top of it, overall improved our experience ten-fold. I recommend this to anyone and everyone, even though it's a little expensive (our bill for my gf, myself and the two kids) came out to roughly $260 with tip and all, but I promise it was worth every penny!
Sam Warda: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes House SaladMore
Ashley Morgan: Best service! Very clean!!
Hannah Rhodes: As someone who is lactose intolerant, the cramps will be worth it. The cheese was absolutely fantastic! We got the spinach artichoke and aged cheddar, which came with bread, celery, apples, and carrots. The food was also delicious, and I enjoyed boiling and grilling my own food. Our server, Riley, was also amazing and recommended great items on the menu since it was our first time.
Natalia Arango Geraldino: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Stacy Meyers: Old restaurant, not very clean. The food was just ok and the service wasn't great. Wasn't worth the expense. Darn.Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Luisa Medina: The whole concept of this place is really neat. However, there’s definitely room for improvement. First off way overpriced. We spent almost $180 for just two people (including the tío for the waiter). This restaurant is not fancy, therefore shouldn’t have those “fancy” prices”. People were literally showing up in sweatpants… Second, the bread was not fresh. It was hard and gross. Plus, the vegetables were definitely still cold and still defrosting. I do love the dessert part if the dinner. However, the brownies and cookies were definitely not fresh. Overall, the quality of the food does not fit the price.
Pierre Muentnich: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
andriablaze: Surprised by the many vegan options (both cheese and chocolate) and so good!
Nathan Rice: Took my wife here for her birthday. The ambience is nothing special. Drinks were sub par. Food was alright, but there was no salt on the table and the meats were unseasoned. Service was alright, until we ended up waiting for our checks for 30 minutes at the end. There was nothing special about this place and it certainly was not worth $130 for us both.
G M Fite: My wife loves to visit The Melting Pot for her birthday. This year was no exception. We had a party of 4 each couple's bill exceeded $150.00. We all concluded that the service was terrible, the filet mignon was tough & chewy (certainly not filet). The cheese fondue included 2 small pieces of cauliflower, a handle full of baby carrots, along with bread there was celery....[what a cheap excuse] I mean really!? How many times a week does 1 sit and think "boy! Sure could go for dipping some celery into some hot cheese."We came to the conclusion; the price verses quality, service & atmosphere nowhere near add up to an enjoyable evening therefore we will no longer be dining at The Melting Pot & that's unfortunate.
Connie Rhodes Rummel: We chose to celebrate Mother’s Day Saturday night and made a reservation two months in advance at the Durham, NC location. Apparently it doesn’t matter if you make a reservation as we still had to wait 50mins for our table to be ready. (Reservation at 6:45pm, finally sat down at 7:35pm) many other reservations had similar experiences as ours, so obviously management has no idea how to schedule staffing and reservations. While our server was an absolute Angel, the overall service left much to be desired. We had to ask for silverware and napkins multiple times, having to use the fondue forks for the cheese course only receiving forks and napkins with our salads, only after someone delivered our entree asking if everything ok with our salads.Overall service was slow, understanding the experience (this was not our first time at melting pot) what is typically a 2hr dinner, turned into a 4hr dinner, with us leaving the restaurant at 10:45pm.I sincerely hope the Raleigh location has better service, as the Durham location needs a closer look at capacity and service times.
Karen Rooks: It was very pleasurable, but we got check at the start of the dessert fondue. Never checked on our refills.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Dark Chocolate Fondue …More
tyrral quinn: There were flies everywhere. The place smelled like old mop water. I don’t have any problem with the service. Seemed to be short staffed. Tipped well.
Jeff Struggles: I decided to come here for my birthday 5/4 and for this being my first time I didn’t know what to expect but I was on Positive Vibes soon as I pulled in the parking lot. Walked in excited and was greeted right away, my guest and I got a drink from the bar while they was getting our table ready. Then we sat down and we met KEARSTIN R. And she made my/our experience INCREDIBLE. Her energy was great answered our questions, very informative and easy to talk to. Personally I don’t know how to cook but it was so fun for me feeling like a big time chef lol. Dessert was my favorite part, Flaming turtle is what we ordered and it was perfect. Awesome experience and we will be back.
Tyler Rickert: Had an awesome experience! Dee was awesome!

Michael Waily: So orders about 300.00 worth of food… Food was wrong food was cold… And one of the food items were straight raw and bleeding… 12 PC Buffalo wings… Me and my fiancé got separate 12 pc buffalo wings and both of our wings were uncooked and raw/bleeding… told our waitress and brought out a new set of 12 pc buffalo wings for both of us and sure enough same issue… Definitely not worth or all the hype… couldn’t get any discounts or something to even make the situation right…
WEARE 4013: Honest opinion: I ordered a basket with cheesecake, it was good, the carrot cake tasted good but very cold, I liked the attention of the waitress because she was kind. The bad thing was the smell of the place, it smells like very unpleasant plumbing. I was anxious to finish my dessert and get out of there. I leave this opinion because it is really important that you be aware of the smells in your restaurant.

Anonymous: Leigh D was AMAZING. I’ve worked in the service industry before so i’m a bit particular with my service but Leigh went above and beyond for myself and my mother. We went to celebrate my mothers birthday and my mother was extremely appreciative of how attentive Leigh was. Whatever ya’ll pay her, it’s not enough. She deserves more. Thank you so much Leigh!

Helen Toney: My wife and I visited this establishment on 7-5-2023 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We placed our order and waited to have lunch together. Our waitress shortly returned to our table and asked what we had ordered. I was thinking, why not write it down? We gave our orders again. We waited several minutes, approximately 45 minutes for our meal. Our waitress returned with only my wife’s lunch and said she’d be back with my lunch. Well after 10 minutes, she returned to tell me that someone had taken my lunch for their order. Again I’m thinking, ok where is their order? The GM, Milo, came over to extend his apologies and that the kitchen was preparing me a “fresh” lunch. I informed him that we’d chosen his establishment to have lunch “together” for our anniversary. I had to watch my wife eat her lunch and after 25 additional minutes, she watched me eat my lunch. This really put me in some kind of “different” mood. I’ve never seen service at this restaurant so horrible but it was. They were not too terribly busy on this Wednesday afternoon. The GM did comp my lunch but I felt that he should’ve comped my wife’s also because it was her anniversary also and she was inconvenienced as well. We often visit this establishment because we visit Crabtree Mall often but if their service is going in this direction, I feel sorry for Cheesecake Factory no matter how good the cheesecake is. Customer service is something that doesn’t exist in the United States anymore.

Maria S. Colunga: Visiting drom Dallas, came in for a late lunch. We sat at the bar area where there was 2 servers and a bartender. Restaurant was at less 30% capacity & my party of 3 never got served. Horrible experience, no one acknowledged us nor offered us drinks. I've worked in the industry and service has to be pretty bad for me to warned other on places like this. Go elsewhere!

Cam Honour: We booked a reservation for Mother’s Day brunch. Checked out the menu/pricing and budgeted accordingly. Upon arrival we were confused as we were ushered to a convention room with a buffet and given a bill at the end for $60 per person. So what we were expecting to be a $250 family meal turned out to be a nearly $600 meal after tip. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good but I can’t but feel like this was a bit of a bait n switch. I looked back at our reservation thinking I may have missed something but there was nothing indicating a buffet at that price point. In business your customers should always know the cost before buying your product or service. Very deceptive.

My beyond burger was ok, it lacked some spices and the caramelized onions were actually grills and not very well. But that’s a small complaint in the scheme of things.
Jesse Locklear: Thankful to have a place to get good food after 10pm. We had an old fashioned, the cajun chicken sandwich and the mahi sandwich. Both sandwiches were excellent but the fries were limp and only warm. We had requested extra crispy. Bar was busy and we atethe fries...otherwise it was great!

Iris: what do users think?
Claire Stuebe: Best Cesar salad ever at the Sip Coffee Cafe next to the Iris.
Sean Hassard: Very nice museum, dont come near closing time though or the guards will be on your butt from 20 minutes before closing till you leave.
Swamy Matute: Muy buenas exposiciones, con mucho que ver.
Alexandra Beresnyak: If you are looking for somewhere classy and innovative then look no further! Iris, dear restaurant attached to the North Carolina museum of art, is a beautiful atmosphere with swirling a sculpture on the walls and beautiful natural light. It does not feel overcrowded although there is enough space for a party of 16. All of the servers are very professional and helpful by guiding you on the menu. They have lots of options for people who are on special diet's, like folks who do not eat gluten or R vegan. It's nice to have an option after walking around the grounds or the museum itself to feed yourself or your family. The food is absolutely delicious and obviously crafted by someone with culinary Expertise. There are so many of flavors that go into each dish and they are plated beautiful I like the plates are pieces of art themselves. It is a great place to go for brunch on Saturday and Sunday, but I highly suggest you call and make a reservation or hold a table because it can get very busy. I give this place 5 stars and highly suggest it to anyone who is intrested and a lovely dining experience. The high ceilings really give the place an air of luxury and contribute to the culture that you might find in the Room. The options for drinks are wonderful and your server well pair them with your dish with ease. I enjoy that they have fresh juices and coffee options as well. Everything is so nice looking and a semi formal it is a great place to go on a date as well!
Susan Montani: LOVE this place! Great ambiance. Food is very nicely done. Perfect place for brunch or lunch, ideal to meet up with a friend, even if you don't plan to tour the museum much. During exhibit times make reservations!
Gary Kibble: This place is always popular - get a reservation if you can. It's a nice break after walking about the museum.
Cassandra Garcia: Superb service, delicious dishes to choose from and the atmosphere is beautiful!!! Great flavors to choose from an the brunch menu will never disappoint!
Teah: Very much enjoyed meal here. Interesting options, friendly service. My father is a vegetarian and he found his meal satisfying. The negative is that it is loud in the restaurant. Great place to eat before, after or in the middle of your exploration of the museum.
Perry Ackeret: We didn't eat there but it's beautiful.
Ann Searcy: Two ordered fish tacos and one chicken salad. All agreed the kitchen was having a big problem. Cold food, not the freshest fish, unseasoned everything and server didn't seem to care that we ate about a third of the food. 10% discount, which we already had as members of NCMA. Next time I would demand a different menu item, but there won't be a next time!
Michael Metcalf: Do not normally use the (hardly endearing) OMG but Wow. Had the scallops upon my wife's recommendation and that dish was a flavor explosion. I wanted to lick my plate clean. We will be back.
Shay R.: Too high & too busy . Dont be hungry trying to wait on a table. 🤦🏽‍♀️
Tracey Gardner: Great food after a full tour.
Mara W: Made reservations ahead of time. This is probably a good idea when going here during a popular exhibit. It is a small area to eat and enjoy seeing art. It is a bit loud at times and it is close quarters for seating. The food was delicious! I went during brunch so got the grit and eggs bowl with pico, Oaxaca cheese, black beans and spring onions. It was a nice portion to feel full but not overstuffed and needing to take food home. Would go again and get that item again. Staff were on top of things. Only disappointed that they don't use recyclable to go boxes, but use plastic. I hope they change that.
Vicky Neal: Love their lavender latte!
Auggiesway: Great exhibit, very comfortable surroundings it was a great day trip. Souvenir Shop a bit pricey, but still a great time.
Frieda Sanders: Great food, ambiance, and service!
Angelina Sanchez: Excelente lugar
Marci Young: Service is excellent. The food is very good, however I ordered a brussel sprouts and shrimp salad which arrived with no brussel sprouts?? It is very loud, they should never have moved it from the east building which was a true destination
Natali Burylina: So beautiful place and delicious
Mary Szabady: Wonderful food and great service!!!

Patriot Red: This was an incredibly disappointing experience. Server was friendly so we at least have that. 2 of us cannot have gluten it’s not because of choice it is because we just can’t. The gluten free pasta came out as regular pasta. We had to wait on them to be remade. On top of that each order was wrong. None of us liked the food it was not like any Italian we had ever had. The bonus is I ended up with the worst food poisoning
Mary Rogers: Nice chill atmosphere. Ordered magherita pizza pretty tasty. Peach Bellini was frozen wasn’t expecting that but it was good.

Christopher Heath: Place was attacked by a date that I have had she wanted to go there so that’s why I took her honestly I was not given the wow factor I got the lamb chops and I expected them to be a lot bigger. They were very very small I could’ve ate two helpings on a $60 meal that is not what I was looking for so overall, it was very good. Oh, I will try again, but at the same time it needs to be said that when you’re spending $200 for a meal just they should have the wow factor out there. But at the same time it made her happy by date was happy so that’s a really good taste in my mouth I just needed more that’s all the lamb chops were very good you don’t get that buy those everywhere so Quetion point I do recommend a place very highly.
Nisha Minaj: Mother's Day DinnerMade reservations online thinking it would be packed, but it was not, instantly seated. The restaurant looks nice for them not to be super busy. I think the busses staff could have paid more attention to detail. Other than that, the inside was pretty nice with the decor and an open kitchen. The server was friendly but busy upon her arrival. My guest and I knew exactly what we wanted to start with. Our drinks from the bar came first and bread. We had to wait a little while for the water, but it did come. The drinks were okay, I had the Sangria. Let's just say I didn't finish it.Calamari was pretty good, extremely crunchy, though. I think it was the sauce that made it good. Lemon aioli and the homemade marinara were really good. Caesar salad was good as well. My guest had the chopped salad, which was pretty big for a side. For my main course, I had the Pasta Brio, I was tossing between that and the Lasagna, and my guest had the Chicken Malanese. I was not a fan of the pasta brio. It lacked sauce, although there was a little at the bottom of the plate. It also lacked flavor. With the extra sauce and parmesan, it still wasn't right. Didn't like the noodles they were on the well-done side instead of AL dente. The same goes for the chicken malanese it just lacked flavor. I wanted to get like a wine parmesan type of flavor for that but didn't get it. It was just sauce plain sauce, but the marinara that was around the rim now was amazing. I'm not a fan of spaghetti noodles, which I know came with the meal, but they were well done as well.We decided to pass on desert.
Josef Pauli: Family outing celebrating my middle daughter's 30th bday. Great waiter, very good food, deliciosus deserts. My favorite item was the truffle toast appetizer. Everyone had something different and all was great. It was a little loud from a background noise standpoint; made concersation a littke difficult sometimes.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Lizzie Trabulsi: Very slow service. Didn't have enough waiters, and couldn't pay attention to all of the customers. The bartender also kept breaking glasses.
Margaret Odishoo: Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5Recommended dishes Carpaccio, Monday Pasta BrioMore
marilyn masaitis: It is rare these days to see tablecloths used at restaurants. This alone sets Brio apart. The service is prompt & professional. The presentation of the food is eye appealing and the taste is flavorful. Brio is a clean and well appointed restaurant. This was my second visit to a Brio (a different location) and I can say that there is consistency restaurant location to location. I will definitely eat at a Brio again. The Chicken Limone was the main dish I chose and it was delicious. My husband had the Salmon Frescawhich he enjoyed as well.

Nick DeMarco: I/we have been multiple times. Humble Pie is a Raleigh gem. Christine Albert: We were hosting a 3-day event in Raleigh and had our networking dinner at Humble Pie and have nothing but great things to say about this venue. We rented the entire place for the evening and were so well taken care of. From dealing with Jim as we were planning the evening, to the staff working that evening - everyone was great to work with!We had a buffet dinner went with their proposed menu. Every single dish was AMAZING.We had a few people with dietary restrictions and they accommodated everyone and had all the dishes labeled so people knew what to avoid, if necessary. If you're looking for a venue for a private event, I definitely recommend Humble Pie.

G Thompson: So good. Margaux's is in my top five "places to go for an occasion" in Raleigh. Go on a Monday for the three course pre fixe menu. I recommend choosing the Caesar salad, Salmon, and chocolate mousse, but the other options are also delicious. Also, the best escargot I've ever had, and the Won-Chos were delicious. Definitely going back for the crab cakes and the ever changing menu items. If you have William as your waiter, you're in great hands.
Bailey Isabella: This was my first time at margauxs….. it will definitely not be my last. Sarah was super sweet and attentive my water was never empty my tummy is full and happy. She did a great job at explaining the menu and giving us recommendations. I got the French onion soup and a half portion chaser to start (I don’t know how big the full is but the half was huge too). The French onion soup is the best I have had in Raleigh. The chaser came with fresh cracked black pepper. The main winner of the night was the duck from their classic portion of the menu. It was to die for with amazing sweet potatoes. Lastly the desert… a must get great with the cappuccino!! I had the white and dark chocolate moose Sarah’s recommended favorite. It is not my favorite. They are celebrating 30 years of business and I can see why!!
Meagan Matheny: This place is wonderful. The menu is fun and they have many options. The Ostrich is a must try! It's almost like duck and steak at the same time. The steak is also perfectly cooked. We also ordered the snails, I'd honestly prefer if they weren't in the shell, it just made them more difficult to eat. But they were excellent, other than the presentation of them. The mousse is also delicious and a must get. Our server was very knowledgeable and the perfect amount of attentive.
Tim Korkuc: the pre-fixed meal had small portions but I still left feeling pretty full and it was all quite delicious!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Sean Long: Such a great dining experience. From the flavors of the food to the customer service. It was all excellentVegetarian options: The pineapple fried rice dish tasted amazing and was a great serving size, too. There weren’t many vegetarian options but I also respected that it’s not necessarily or does it have to be that kind of restaurant. Those do exists. Thankfully for me, I am a vegetarian purely by choice and not so hung up by my choices that I’m going to miss out on food that prepared, meat or not. I’m honestly curious on what vegetarian dishes the chef would choose to add if there was a collective to desire to serve more of those but it was also nice feeling like eating the meat was more of a delicacy to me simply because how often I don’t choose to eat it.
Tina Grant: We have been dinning at Margaux for fourteen years . Never disappointed.
Steve Lisowe: Really enjoyed the meal and the service and the decor. My starter of Vietnamese Spring Rolls , followed by scallops and vegetables were delicious. My wife ordered the Filet and potato Anna. The steak was at least 8oz, cooked perfectly, but the sad part of the plate was the potato, which looked like it was trying to grow into a Hasselbeck potato, but ended up being undercooked (like the broccoli) and unappetizing. Looking up potato Anna,, it resembles au Gratin, but this was a solid pseudo-baked potato. Work on the details, and we'll try again.
Fay Strickland: Decided to go with their 3 course meal. The courses came out timely. The meals were delicious and the service was nice!Recommended dishes Mashed Potatoes …More
Sam R: Margaux’s never fails to impress with the size, variety, and quality of the menu across the board. Fantastic appetizers, creative entrees, and a nice list of (strong) martinis. A favorite for celebrations for many years
Sue Weems: The wine selection was excellent.. unfortunately our duck dish was cold.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Nick Gelormino: After eating here a while back and thought the food was mediocre, we gave it another try on a Friday night. The server was friendly and attentive. Since my wife is vegetarian, there is only one vegetarian item to choose from, gnocchi with vegetables. You can't ask them to modify an order, such as leave the shrimp off the pasta. No dice. We both ordered soup, french onion for me and tomato garlic ($11) for wife. Mine was good, but the tomato soup had no hint of garlic and was very bland. Trader Joes box soup would be 10 times better. We should have left at that point. Her meal came with a huge salad which looked good, but the dressing was supposed to be a vinaigrette, but tasted awful. How hard is it to mix oil and vinegar with s &p?I had the grouper ($45) which disappointed. The fish was cooked well but had a mushy breading of sorts and the whole dish was covered with course ground mustard, even the asparagus. All you could taste was mustard. The dish included 2 baked fingerling potatoes. No sauce, just potato. My wifes gnocchi was a miss mask of different vegetables with no rhyme nor reason. Awful! And on the way out, noticing the 93 cleanliness score topped it off. All the good reviews seem to come from the early bird special diners. For these prices, you could get gourmet food at Crawford and Sons and leave happy!
Ced V: Friend recommended this place for My Wife's Birthday. Highly disappointed. Atmosphere was good Waiter was good(Chad) Can't say this for the food. My wife ordered Chicken plate which was decent. My order..70 dollar Filet Mignon medium well..pink middle. Recieved My Filet well well done. Seen my server place plate on counter. The lead cook was highly upset. Picking up Filet with his tongs looking at it and slamming it back down on plate. Manager comes over trying to justify his actions by saying...Oh he's always like that. Ok but that don't make it right. Didn't feel comfortable him handling my food. Got my check and left. Spoiling my wife's Birthday. Overpriced food for poor service. Chad was great tho appreciate his concerns.
Rechella Vinson: My husband took me here for birthday he ordered a 70 dollar entree medium well got well done when he sent back the head chef had a nasty attitude we watched him pick steak up put down and put back on plate all while arguing with server, the waiter and managed tryed to justify his nasty attitude 🙄 it was unacceptable the experience was awful I won't return May 5th
Brett Weaver: Service was good, for a party of 10 we were well tended to and water glasses were never empty. That said, the food left much left to be desired. Portions were tiny on the prix fixe menu and everything was cold. The plates were scalding but the food itself was cold. Thankfully the waitress recognized that the food was lacking and comped the guest of honor’s meal. Had high hopes for this place as the prices command a much better culinary experience. Fresh off of a trip to France, which this place seems to emulate, the experience was lacking despite the efforts of the service team— They saved the experience.
Mark723: Excellent restaurant with delicious food and charming service. Cozy atmosphere. The French Onion Soup is the best this side of the Atlantic. The Prix Fixe menu represents the best dining option in Raleigh. Dine here and be happy.Parking: Steps from the front door.
Matt Burnette: Good food with an interesting menu. There’s a bit of everything here from steaks to seafood and even Korean noodles. Wine and cocktail menu is great too. My only complaint is some of the tables are extremely close which can make your dining experience a little awkward especially if you’re next to a large or loud group. Normally i wouldn’t even bring that up but since this place is so large it makes sense to have less tables and more space.
