Kaycee Thompson: Everything you need to start the semester off right! As expected, prices are high and quality is good. There are some things that you could get for around $6 like stickers and magnets. On the upper level, they have a large selection of everything Wolfpack including tumblers, t-shirts, cutting boards, hats, lanyards, and even small last-minute grabs like sanitizer and bandaids near the front. They do have some clearance items, but nothing I was personally interested in. Downstairs there’s a Starbucks and the technology and school supplies. The technology section includes Apple products that are priced at Apple Store prices. They had unique notebooks and other stationary. I went after spring semester and before summer started though I won’t be starting classes until the fall, so there were only a handful of people there and I didn’t get to experience the book-buying process.

Maria Valiente: Decided to try this store so I could buy a couple of uniforms I needed for work, and the older lady had an attitude after I told her I was shopping for specific colors.. Then proceeded to stare us down which obviously made us uncomfortable. As we were leaving, she just continued to stare us down as if we were to steal. Such a terrible experience, if you don’t want people of color in your store say it so I don’t have to experience this again! After reading the store’s replies on negative reviews I hesitated leaving this review since they’re so defensive and refuse to comprehend. If you are a person of colorful, be wary of this store.

Scott Crawford: This place is SUPER COOL!!! It's unusual these days in the age of endless online shopping to fund a shop that really takes me back to finding a cool store selling a bunch of unusual and awesome wares in the 90s when you'd just stumble upon a hidden gem of a store. This has that vibe! They had so much stuff it was impossible to take it all in, and I really miss that experience! It's in a funky part of town and adds its own cool flavor to the whole scene and we will definitely be back! Neat gifts, cool sh!+, who could ask for more! I first started going to Edge of Urge when I was a student at UNC Wilmington and was so happy when I heard they were expanding and opening a store in Raleigh. I haven’t been shopping here as frequently as I used to BUT every time I visit, it’s so nice to see all the cool brands they added like Charlotte Stone and Coucou Suzette. Brands that I found on social media and always appreciated for their unique style and kitschy aesthetic. Edge of Urge has something for everyone and I’m always happy to support this woman owned business.

Nan Johnson: I was planning on buying a t-shirt for my daughter for her birthday. The shirt was 9.99 regular price. I got busy and never finished the transaction. A day or two later, I went on the website that the t-shirt was "ON SALE" for "12.99" I had no issue with price increasing, that's just the way of the world. But don't lie about it and call it a sale. Makes me feel like this company is underhanded. Simply raising the price $2.00 and not stating that it was a sale would've been fine. You took it further and decided to trick consumers into thinking they were getting a deal when they weren't.

Bailey, was polite, attentive and displayed professional zeal and she relentlessly hunted the store’s inventory to find a pair of shorts that met the above mentioned criteria. They were both really helpful and even though the cashier did not know all the steps the manager was such a great leader explaining to her. I worked retail before and I appreciated someone teaching in a kind manner. This is why I love shopping at Lululemon so much. I recently moved from a warmer state and had not used my sweater in many months only to find out the zipper was damaged. They helped me with that quick even though I got there 15 mins before closing time. It only took a few minutes and I was in and out. Thank you to both of you ladies!

Christin King: This is one of the best boutiques I’ve ever shopped with especially in Raleigh! The owner and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about current fashion trends and what looks good on every body type. They are helpful and honest and I always enjoy my time here. Great for unique pieces to add to your fashion collection, accessories and gifts to give to friends. The selection is boho trendy with an edgy / retro flare and they get new items in every week. I also love that they carry several local artists / artisans you can shop from as well and the location is phenomenal in the ever growing North Hills / Midtown area. Can you tell I’m obsessed? The employees at this location are shockingly unprofessional. I asked an associate about a product and she lied to my face. Michael Woodward: Avoid this location if you're looking for any of their more popular items. Orange chicken is out 75% of the time, as well as the chicken soup dumplings. Most recently, one employee blamed the shortage on Tik Tok. News flash, orange chicken has been on every "what to buy at trader joes article" since the beginning of time. This is not new. Yet this store can't seem to keep it in stick. Newport News seems to have no issue on this front. Weird.

isabel Roy: nobody said anything to me entire time I was shopping and when I was getting rang up. They also left my sensor on because they were in such a hurry even though they didn’t close for over an hour.

Harper “oh yeah yeah” Ku: Genuinely horrible experience at the register. Im 18 and work at the Macys next door and I cant think of any reason the employees would be this rude. I was standing for 5 minutes at the register holding my items with no line before one of the three girls in a loud conversation behind the counter noticed. She asked if I needed something in an extremely rude manner like I was interrupting their conversation. While she was ringing me up she continued her conversation with the other workers and did not say anything to me. I had to wait for her to finish talking to give her the money for my purchase and she did not say a single word to me so I just walked away while she continued her conversation. Salesperson and Cashier number #677942. I have not had an experience this bad at any store and will not be returning. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from someone in any circumstance.
