Purple Cabbage: what do users think?
Its Jared: Great food. The Chefs Burger tastes better then an actual beef burger!
Charlene Marshall: Purple Cabbage did our July 4th catering. It was Fantastic. We had a mixture of Vegan and traditional foods. It was great to see our more mature family and friends try foods they had never eaten before. They talk about it for weeks. Thanks Purple Cabbage.
Frasier Linde: They couldn't tell me what's in the "Beyond Meat" besides, "it has a little soy in it" (which it doesn't). I tried it anyways, and paid $8 for two small tacos that tasted alright but weren't very filling (and they could have skipped the out-of-season strawberries). Not impressed.

The Fiction Kitchen: what do users think?
Jonathan Davis: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Chicken and WafflesMore
Christopher Smith: We FINALLY got to try Fiction Kitchen, after years of wanting to! The food was incredible, we got the Lion’s Mane Rangoon to start and the Chick’n n Waffles andRisotto for entrees with the Mac n cheez and pimento cheese fries as sides. Everything was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!
Morgan Clark: Such a great spot in Raleigh! The rangoon appetizer was amazing- I will definitely come back the next time I am in town.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Keshia C.: We wanted to try a new place, and the vegan pasta fried mushroom oysters and lion mane ragoon food was delicious 😋 I will be back.Vegetarian options: The menu is vegan
Allison Kalloo: Been meaning to experience this place for a while. Did not disappoint, though I do think my own mushroom po' boy is better (more infused flavor and more mushrooms). But this was decent. The appetizers were amazing!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Oyster Mushrooms, Noodle Bowl …More
RWR: Great truly vegan food in Raleigh area.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Impossible Burger, BBQ, BBQ Plate, Vegan BBQ, Sweet Potato Fries …More
Geoffrey Neal: Outstanding vegetarian food. Great service. Reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: It's what they do. All veg. Outstanding.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but the food is excellent for kids who aren't hooked on chicken fingers and French fries.
Jon Pugeda: It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I’m glad I was finally able to get a reservation. Absolutely love the vibe inside. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and the food superb 🏽! We started with the Lion’s Mane Rangoons and Spring Rolls. Both were done well and had really flavorful sauces that accompanied them. For main course we got the Peanut Noodles & the Risotto. The noodles were 🔥🔥🔥!! (Make sure you add the fried tofu). The risotto was cooked perfect and the added crab cake completed the dish. For dessert we had the blueberry dulce de leche cake and it didn’t disappoint. If you want to try an amazing restaurant with an amazingly creative chef, Fiction Kitchen will not disappoint.
Dan Miller (HighTechGeek): It's a great way to see the cutting edge of vegan food technology done very, very well. It's not necessarily healthy with a lot of deep fried, batter-dipped offerings. It's not exactly fighting against processed foods as many meat and cheese substitutes are a multitude of chemically processed mystery ingredients. But it is definitely cruelty free eating. It's also a treat for vegans craving comfort food or to show carnivores what's possible on the other side. You'll definitely put on a few pounds here and go home full and satisfied. The location is kind of a dive and the windows were rattling continuously so violently and loud to the point where children were scared and I fully expected them to shatter due to Red Hat amphitheater having some techno rave event a block away, but they held for the 2.5 hours we were there. The staff are super attentive, nice and fast.Get your reservations well in advance. Street parking can be difficult.Vegetarian options: Everything in the restaurant and on the menu is veganKid-friendliness: There were kids there. It's family friendly.Parking: There was an event going on downtown (which is often) so street parking is difficult as they don't seem to have any dedicated parking for the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: If you can get to the sidewalk in front of the restaurant, there are no steps preventing entry, but it is on a slightly steep road. There's no handicap parking and no dedicated parking. Just street parking.Dietary restrictions: They specifically asked us at the start of the meal if anyone had food allergies. They also have notes on their menu regarding gluten free items and 3 other categories (can't remember what they were... nuts maybe and 2 others) for those types of preference. In addition, everything in the restaurant is vegan.
Katie Evans: This place just does not miss. Passion for local ingredients mixed with passion for service makes a local gem.Recommended dishes BBQ, Chicken and Waffles, Vegan Chicken and Waffles …More
Amy: Wow! Delighted by this vegan restaurant located in Raleigh. From our drinks and appetizers, to our entrees and dessert - everything was beautiful AND delicious.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Vegan BBQ, Fried Oyster Mushrooms, Farmers Market, Noodle Bowl …More
Barbara Knott: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Vegan Chicken and Waffles, Curry Bowl, Fried Oyster Mushrooms, Farmers Market, Tres Leches Cake with Seasonal Fruit, Chicken and Waffles, Cornmeal Fried Green Tomatoes with Pepper JellyMore
Dana: I am not a vegan (I want to be) but this place is delicious! The mozzarella sticks YUM!! And our server (hey B) was amazing. Great drinks too!
Robin Suggs: Who would've thought that someone could pull off a vegan version of authentic eastern NC pork barbeque? Well The Fiction Kitchen did it! Incredible... simply incredible. Among the best vegan restaurants in the US for sure!
Eric Page: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
David Banks: Nice urban restaurant with a fully vegan menu. Unique dishes that provide a southern flavor in a healthy dishFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Betsy Belschner: Holy cow (well….not cow!) this place is amazing!! “Crab cakes” were decadent and the glazed carrots perfection!! Great service at the bar too!!

Gaia's Kitchen and Catering: what do users think?
Catherine M (Simply Eat Plants): We met the chefs of Gaia’s Kitchen, Sandra and Morgan, at their booth at the Wake Forest Farmer’s Market and purchased a few items. The Buffalo wings, chicken and dumplings, and a lemon dessert were all fantastic! We will definitely be ordering from Gaia’s Kitchen again!Dietary restrictions: In asking about an allergen, Sandra of Gaia’s Kitchen knew all the ingredients in each dish.
Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge: We had food catered to a small meeting here at The Refuge. From the moment I ordered, to the confirmation, and the delivery the day of, the service was immaculate. And the food itself was beyond incredible! The strawberry shortcake could be its own business!! Thank you so much!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Leslie Pruneau: Delicious food! We enjoyed our delivered dinners and will continue to order more in the future. Thank you for making these yummy Italian dishes for vegans!
Judith Joy: Delicious vegan food and wonderful customer service! We ordered the cornbread muffins, Mac n cheese, and bourbon chicken over fried rice. All of our guests enjoyed the food (vegan and non vegan) and inquired who made it! We will definitely order from Gaia again whenever we host our vegan friends! Thank you, Gaia!
Huma Hashmi: some of the best food i've eaten in the area!
Kelly Perry: Gaia’s catered my wedding reception this past weekend and everything was fabulous! From first contact with Sandra to post-event, working with Gaia’s was perfect. There were plenty of meat eaters at my event who said they would’ve never known it was all vegan. The talk of the event was the chik’n marsala and the tiramisu! I obsessed over the spinach artichoke bites. We also had lasagna, mac n cheese bites, potato salad, and Mediterranean salad . The delivery, setup, and pickup was flawless. It was pouring rain during delivery but we worked it out! I will definitely use Gaia’s for my next event and I’ve already told all my vegan friends.
Cori McLachlan: Finally! Homemade VEGAN food delivered to my door! Not only is their food AMAZING, but this mother-daughter duo goes above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied with your meals. So glad I found them!
Angela Barrell: A business owned by two incredible women is awesome enough, but the food will blow you away!!! Each item is amazing, but we are especially obsessed with their Italian offerings (lasagna, stuffed peppers, creamy penne, stuffed tomatoes, etc) and their desserts! This place is a must try!!
Jessica Carter: Great food and accommodating!Delivery: Yes …More
Nitin Saboo: We LOVE Gaia's Kitchen and Catering! Everyone is so nice and the food is hearty and delicious. We especially love the pasta dishes and the desserts. Very grateful for this wonderful vegan business that makes our life easier.
Sarah Ashworth: Amazing food from amazing people!! I ordered a single serving of their green bean casserole to have as the only vegan at my family’s thanksgiving lunch and they brought me an entire tray of it at no charge! Not only did I enjoy the DELICIOUS casserole but the non-vegans loved it too! I will definitely be ordering from Gaia’s again & cannot recommend them enough!!
April Gessner: Absolutely delicious food made by the kindest and most generous mother and daughter team! So grateful to have this amazing vegan option in our area.
Kathleen Joyce: We LOVE Gaia’s. Could not ask for a more amazing, delicious, always on point catering and delivery service. The communication is always top notch & the people are just as fantastic as the food. Thank you Gaia’s!!! What a perfect blessing in our vegan community!! Supporters for life 💚💚💚💚💚💚
Stephen Varnum (Steviechillz): YES! The triangle has a vegan catering and delivery service and EVERYTHING IS FANTASTIC! Love their lasagna bolognese and they are always dishing out other creative entrees, desserts, and more! 👏💚🌱🤤
Cassandra: Literally an amazing food delivery service!!!! I order myself dinner for the night and some extra things to have for lunch or dinner during the week. Desserts are also delicious
Dolly Bounajim: A delicious vegan delivery service run by amazing people!!
Scarlett G: Absolutely delicious, indulgent, flavorful, filling meals delivered right to your door for reasonable prices. Cruelty-free food that hits the spot every time. Order one of everything, you won't regret it :)

Element Gastropub: what do users think?
shanna scott: This place was one of the first places that popped up when I searched for vegetarian options and I'm super thrilled that I tried it. From start to finish the experience was fantastic. It is a place I could see my self going to regularly because of it. My server, Cass, did an outstanding job suggesting foods and drinks to try. I'm looking forward to going back.
Delphine Abdullah: I enjoyed the restaurant. I took a friend with, and we enjoyed our meal and the music. It's good to know there's another great vegan spot!Vegetarian options: Every item on the menu is simply framsh. What more can you ask for.Kid-friendliness: All ai know is that the kids in there enjoying themselves 😂Parking: We found a lot right around the corner.
Shannon Lutz: I always look forward to coming to Element! All the food is vegan and very generously portioned in my opinion. I highly recommend the Pretzel, Loaded Fries, and Kale Caesar Salad (it’s my favorite salad in Raleigh). I ordered the Chipotle Ranch Taco Salad (pictured) which was also great! Element also has a ton of burgers and sandwiches to choose from on their menu. Any time I’ve been Element, the service has been great too. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating when it’s cool enough to sit outside!Vegetarian options: All the food is vegan!Dietary restrictions: No eggs, dairy, or meat (all vegan)

Demon Te: Food was good. Ordered online. Came in was greeted with a friendly smile and complimentary water. James Fischer: Dead flower arrangements, an overall grimy bar service area and the whole “vegan has to be something that looks like meat” vibe. I guess it fits into the cultural and emotional displacement that is downtown Raleigh. But it could come with parsley as a garnish.Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

Ellie: Probably my favorite place to get an Acai bowl. Wish there were more across NC!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ray Lloyd: Food: 4/5More
Bay Area Media: Not bad…just sort of mediocre! The strawberries are VERY fresh though👍🏽Vegetarian options: You can customize your milks
Alex Hercia: Not the one we are expected.
Mohammed Alabdullatif: Definitely one of the best places to try in Raleigh.
Connor Delaney: The two young ladies who served me were just dears. Reminds me of a time when people put work into their service!!
Maria Blevins: I’ve had many smoothie bowls in my lifetime between places here in Raleigh and Chapel Hill. @ Rush, I got the beach bowl with blueberries as my topper ($10.99 + tax). Rush Bowls would rank high on my list, with the smoothie actually being thick and staying the perfect consistency up until I finished my bowl, in addition to the combination of fruits that went into this bowl. I loved how they had lots of different “bases”, as many shops limit you to very few options. Being someone with a strawberry allergy, a common fruit used in smoothies, I was able to have a selection of choices. I was full after my bowl and very happy.
Allen Sims: the name is fitting, RUSHED. Gotta do better with customer service.
Life with nanny!!: What a HUGE disappointment. I paid $12 for a blended bowl. The picture showed fruit on top so I was so excited only to have all my fruit all blended. Well lesson learned never again will I go here. I should have known the way the lady was rushing me.
Roxanne: It’s my first time to have smoothie bowl! I got the matcha smoothie bowl and it came with strawberry and banana. It is so good! Perfect fro breakfast if you wanna eat something healthy! We came at around 9am and the lady making the bowls was alone at the time so we have to wait for sometime to get our order. But waiting was worth it. We enjoyed our bowls! It was a lot of serving I didn’t get a chance to finish everything. I will surely come back here
Connor Bass: Fantastic place for healthy food and the staff is very approachable.
Scout Manhattan Howard: I come here about once a week and it's always great. Filling, and I never feel bad after having a bowl here.Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes Delivery: Yes …More
Jessica Vega: My new go-to spot! I love the different bowl options and toppings, definitely a good way to start the dayDine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes Delivery: Yes …More
Casey Lynn Midkiff: While we waited for our order, we witnessed a woman complaining about her smoothie bowl being "too chunky" and rolled our eyes at her seemingly nitpicky complaint. But then we got our order and found that ours were too chunky as well. Like, whole pieces of avocado and cucumber in my smoothie. I drank it, but there was literally a whole salad's worth of fruits and vegetables left in the bottom. Was sad.
Audra Edwards: Best smoothie/bowls I've ever had. Reasonably priced for how much you get. Workers are always super kind!
Emma Denton: it was quick and super yummy! you should definitely order from rushbowls. Online ordering is super convenient
William Pizzo: Rush bowls is delicious! I love the summit bowl and the chai bowl. Highly reccomend!
Julia Egler: Rush bowls is a good place! There are a ton of bowl options. I love the Beach bowl with peanut butter and banana on top. I also got a coupon that gave me 50% off which was really nice. They have a lot of smoothie options as well.
Emily Kim: I really love their bowls and bites! It’s bit pricy but reasonable! Highly recommend to try Rush bites! Its sooo good!
Zoe and Rob Lenius: Overpriced
Gaby R.: Today was the first time I went to Rush Bowls. The young lady who took my order was very helpful and sweet. I got paradise bowl and it was delicious, I added the chia seeds. I would definitely come back again for another smoothie bowl.

Happy + Hale: what do users think?
Brittany Montella: I love H+H! Their ahi poke bowl, Dragonade, & City of Oats smoothie are my go-to’s, but everything on the menu is great. Everything hits.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Ahi Poke Bowl …More
Miss Hawthorne: New to the area & reluctantly visited this place 6/19/23 evening. The young lady completing my order was very rude, and when I mentioned her covering my bowl due to the presence of FLIES/GNATS over the food it really set her off. She completely disregarded my concerns, walking away from my food TWICE leaving it uncovered. Since it was late and I was exhausted I opted to just take the food anyway.Food was okay overall, but the uncleanliness and lack of empathy from the employees won’t allow me to patronize here again. A shame because other reviews suggest that this place is great.
Tanner Johnson: “Herb roasted chicken” was cold and so bland. Everything in the bowl is cold. Don’t know how people enjoy cold food like this. Bland and very dissapointingFood: 1/5Recommended dishes …More
Keshia C.: I ordered two of the Ahi poke bowl, and the rice was very, very hard un chewable, and the fish was chewy. I give it a two because the person at the front was excellent. Emma Germanotta: So so soooo amazing!! My sis and I wanted to try something different from bul box, and happy hale shot it out of the park!!Love the variety options, cleanliness, lovely atmosphere, and compassionate and talented staff!!The GM, Patrick/Hoff is so kind and caring! I arrived late to pick our order up and he insisted on remaking BOTH our smoothies - and right before closing time! He emphasized wanting to make sure that our order was fresh and ready and that we enjoyed it as much as they enjoyed making it! He also informed me that if at any time we are running late, we can feel free to call the restaurant and let them know, and they can either hold off on making the order to a later time or stick ready things in the freezer to ensure freshness and quality. An absolute staple to NH and a must-visit. We will def be back!!!

JOSEPHINE: A happy accident!found Happy + Hale by chance. We immediately met Hoff (the manager) & he was so friendly & it truly felt more like he was an owner. Taking such pride in his work. This bowl building concept isn’t new but how you take care of your customers sets you apart from others. He wowed us!I went with Hoff’s suggestion, the BUENO bowl-It was delicious & my husband created his own & we jokingly called it the PETE ;-)We forgot to order drinks & Hoff noticed & he slid two cups over to us.I believe he said try the bubble tea, you will love it! He was right! My favorite part of this experience was when he walked over to us to see if we like the food & needed anything else.I complimented Hoff & he mentioned the team as an integral part of the Happy + Hale experience.Try this place!Just go! Don’t hesitate.
HuffmanSam: Happy + Hale is "WOW that's good"-delicious, healthy, and consistent fast casual fare. The interior is beautiful and everybody that works there is super friendly and helpful.I get the med bowl 2-4 times per week for lunch, but it's hard to go wrong. Also love the coco curry and the hale caesar was great too!

You are family when you walk in those doors. All the food is fresh, and made right in front of you. Lastly the man responsible for why Happy + Hale is amazing is because of Hoff. He truly is a great man and cares about his food and people that eat it. Amazing food from amazing people.
joni burke: Vegetarian options: It was delicious. I purchased the created bowl. Everything was delicious, will be returning.❤️👍
Mr Green: This place is delicious
Yleanna Brown: Great vegan and gluten-free options available. The place is charming and has a Santa Monica vibe. It's clean, the staff is nice, the food is fresh and the portion is good.I had the Incredibowl with added tofu, chick peas and cilantro. It was delicious! The lemonade was also refreshing. Will definitely stop by again when I return to Raleigh.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and Gluten-free
Chloe Rachel: Nice spot in the North Hills area for healthier eats! We did the 'build your own bowl' option. The herb roasted chicken and tofu were both solid protein options. Our favourite veggies were the sweet yams and beets. The option to get 2 dressings ensures your bowl never goes dry. Would recommend their Lemon Tahini and Vegan Caesar sauces.
Robin Mehera: It was a cold Saturday Afternoon, after a long afternoon of running errands, we wanted to grab a healthy lunch. Happy and Hale is tucked away in a corner area of North Hills. The place is one of the nicer fast casual restaurants you will go to. Brewery Bhavana style decor and plenty of seating inside and out. They have a breakfast menu and a big lunch/dinner menu. The chimchuri steak is what I got which was very delicious. But a little salty. This is a great little spot, highly recommend.Go here!
