Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic: Raleigh Office: what do users think?
finding franklin: Very professional, knowledgable and friendly.
Anthony Immediata: Dr. Wyker takes time with you. He listens and gives you the time need to develop a plan to move forward.
Susan Cicone: Christian is profoundly professional, polite, and listens with sincere interest and willingness to help overcome an injury. He suggested a very reasonable plan to divert additional injuries and overcome current pain.
Norman Herman: Excellent experience with PA- Explained everything and addressedmy questions
Ann Hinson: I waited 1 1/2 hours (appt 3:30 - saw doctor 5:00) to see Dr. McNabb, for an issue that has plagued me since TKR 04/26/2022. I expressed concerns about Baker cyst on very first follow up visit after surgery, Dr. McNabb said he took care of it. Throughout rehab and recovery, I complained to physical therapist, to NP Casey Fox Morea about the excess swelling and pain as recently as 05/01/23. None of these listened to my concerns .. they only focused on alignment and fusion of joint.. not about my pain and lack of leg functions. Finally on 06/26/2023 I saw primary care Dr. Scott Bartowski, Wake Med Family physicians, he immediately ordered an ultrasound and was able to get it completed same day. Results found Baker's cyst as well as several others, with excess fluid in knee and lower leg and calf, all causing significant pain.Dr. Bartowski wanted me to see surgeon, so I had to wait almost 2 weeks to see Dr. McNabb.Dr. McNabb, agreed that my Baker Cysts had not gone away, he ordered me on step down pack Prednisolone. Dr. McNabb did not even read the ultrasound printed report, the intake nurse was to scan those results into my records. That was not done. He also ordered an aspiration procedure to be completed by Raleigh Radiology since they did ultrasound. I had to ask about follow up, said he thought this would take care of problem. Obviously any follow up will be with Raleigh Radiology doctors!!This could have been resolved much sooner had they listened and ordered the ultrasound rather than just x-rays.......Now on top of all these issues Dr McNabb and his "team" has sent the aspiration order to Wake Radiology not to Raleigh Radiology, as Dr McNabb requested. According to all I have spoken with the old order has to be canceled by the ordering doctor and reissued to correct facility. In the meantime, i am out of the Prednisolone that was helping with the inflammation and waiting on appointment for the procedure. If I could give them a negative rating of minus 10 I would.
Jackie Clark _ Staff - WashingtonES: Erin has given me Hyaluronic shots for years now and they pain free. She is amazing and always positive and helpful.
Johnnie Walker: Great. She was very professional. Did a great job
Bob James: Terrific knowledgeable people.
Dawn Clark: Met Dr. Barker for the first time on a referral…very engaging and direct…hoping the treatment protocol he has prescribed will keep me out of surgery!
Diane Briggs: Excellent thanks I am doing wonderfully
Don Crafton: Another great visit!
Ryan Hoover: Steve musta been having a very bad day. He was so very cranky and hard to get along with (just kidding). He was fabulous.
Kirk Jensen: Excellent
laura gallo: I've seen Trevor Doolittle about four or five times and he's helped me with my arthritic hands every time can't say enough good things about him and the whole staff at Raleigh orthopedics Thank you all
Renee Graham: Staff is accommodating and responsive to needs
Kitty Parker: Dr. Watters was very professional, took the time for me to explain what I’ve been going thru, and gave clear understanding of my issue. Would most definitely recommend him.
Debra Richardson Johnson: My pre-op appointment for total knee replacement was thorough, unrushed, and pleasant. Liz answered all our questions honestly and didn't sugar coat her answers. I enjoyed her personality and look forward to seeing her again.
William Barker: Great people with your care at heart 😎
David Castor: always friendly and informative
Carolyn Winfree: Erin was very professional and informative about the effects of my injection.
E B: One of the most efficient physician offices every time. Kind, professional, and all providers take the time to actually listen to their patients. Thank you!

Duke Orthopaedics of Raleigh: what do users think?
Nik S: These seem to be the most incompetent doctors I've ever seen! If you have MAJOR knee problems and are in pain frequently, you'd better avoid this place! I looked at the reviews and STILL gave them the benefit of the doubt!!! Boy should I have listened! Believe These reviews people, PLEASE!
Flyx: I had an appointment with Dr. Michael Comstock today and when I arrived the receptionist said she had a note that he couldn’t see me because he referred me to another doctor on THE SAME DAY. That is so unprofessional and his nurse called me that morning and I couldn’t get to the phone and she didn’t even leave a message!!! You’re always supposed to leave a message. don’t recommend coming here horrible experience.
susan williams: Dr. Grant and the entire staff of Duke Orthopaedics are wonderful. Polite, helpful and very kind. All details were explained and I was well informed. I highly recommend Duke Orthopaedics.
Fadwa Ali: I had a knee replacement it was so successful I love the doctor that did my surgery
Tony Ward: Been seeing Dr hoorne for 66 months he hasn't helped me yet these people are the worst
Dana Barrett: Dr. Horne has an excellent bedside manner. When I came into his care I was on what I felt was my last leg. I left another practice in Raleigh after being in tremendous pain for 4 months and still no relief. Dr Horne jumped in immediately and within 2 weeks had me scheduled to receive cortisone shots. I thank him for this....I finally feel some relief!!
Amy Staley: Dr. Brown and his team are excellent! He took the time to answer all of my questions before/after spinal fusion surgery. I highly recommend him, I am grateful for his knowledge and expertise.
Basil Svajlenka: Dr. Constock and his PA were both kind and professional. I did have a bit of 'sticker shock' at their fees however, when it comes to my ability to walk for the rest of my life, no cost is too high. (NOTE: after insurance paid my out of pocket was in line with other area Dr.s). Overall am pleased with my care and surgery, office is in a convenient location & the staff/nurses are nice and helpful.
Beckie Barnes: Very nice caring people. Nurses, receptionist, and Dr. Felt very comfortable and explained everything clearly.
Maria McKown: Thank you for all the previous reviews. I am looking for a decent orthopaedic surgeon for my husband who needs his second knee replacement. I considered Duke, but after reading the reviews, Dr. O'Malley sounds like a nightmare. I will look elsewhere. Thanks again!
Janie McInnis: Very friendly and helpful. Doctors Went over my X-rays with me and explained my situation in detail. I’m a self pay patient and with that being said Duke in general is my 1st choice with any medical issues. They treat and provide services to me as if I’m fully covered and that means a lot. The payment plan is reasonable and fair.
Eugene Anderson: I always have a great experience when I go here, I had a full knee replacement surgery and they took the time to address all my issues even over the weekend.Three weeks after surgery I was doing thing I haven't been able to do in years. Dr.O' Malley and staff are Great !Tlhanks! From Lisa Anderson
James Townson: Had a visit a few weeks ago, can't compalin about a single thing. Staff was quick and efficient and Dr Lewis was great.
Robert Follmer: I was treated by Dr. Donald O'Malley and his P.A. Josh. His lack of empathy is astonishing. He recommended that I have knee replacement surgery for both knees due to 2 torn meniscus and now bone on bone. (This was the very first time that I met him after he had taken x-rays) He said, "Your knees are trashed and you'll need knee replacement on both pretty soon. It's just a matter of time and how long you're willing to be in pain."I asked him about recovery times and pain management and he told me that I would be back to work in less than two weeks and there would be no pain meds prescribed after the first day. In speaking with a personal friend (who is also an orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee replacement but not in my insurance network) he told me that his pain management practice is completely unreasonable and advised me to seek other medical diagnosis. In addition, I asked him (Dr. O'Malley) to sign off on an accommodation for work so I would able to sit down as needed due to pain in my knees after walking on concrete and loading heavy items into or onto a truck or pallet, and he just wouldn't. He cited "arthritis is not an acceptable reason". If all the trouble I had was due to arthritis then why would I have to have knee replacement?I don't recommend Dr. O'Malley in any regard.
Vanda Tailor: Duke Raleigh ER recommended Duke Orthopaedics for an MRI due to a sciatica nerve problem. Physician Assistant Steven Silverman reviewed the MRI and the mild disk protrusion. He said surgery was not recommended. I could not walk more than fifty feet without severe pain. His suggestion was that early retirement was the solution. He thinks a person should give up their job, give up their short-term disability benefit, and give up their job-related medical insurance. Don't bother him unless he can make money on surgery. The web page does allow zero stars.
Katie Dombrowski: The staff here was so kind and helpful when I injured by knee. There were a few times where I had to wait a bit longer than I would have liked, but I expect that most of the time at the doctor these days. They took the time to explain my injury to me, and they answered all my questions pre-surgery. Very professional and my recovery was fantastic.
Brandon Morris: Grateful that Dr. Lewis was able to fix my hip. After going to my local orthopedist in Columbia, SC and having a terrible experience; I began research on orthopedists across the southeast. I was able to locate Dr. Lewis and his YouTube video on his expertise and his standard of care for young people experiencing hip issues. My family and I travelled a while to see him and it was totally worth it. I have had none of the issues that others have mentioned. Anytime I call, I usually get a call back the same day. All scheduling has been flawless as well as billing. If you want the best; Duke Orthopedics is the way to go!
Karen Cockerel: This place is horrible. I Seen Dr. Phillip horn, He told me I needed MRI. Apparently they forgot to schedule my appointment so I called and they apologized and set appointment after almost two weeks waiting. After MRI was done no one called me so I had to call them. It has been a week since my MRI. It took 4 calls before I can speak to someone names lisa. She put me on hold almost 15 min. No music while I hold just dead silence. Had no idea if she hung up and was scared to start over. I told lisa Ididnt want to use this doctor he is unprofessional. She tells me about another doctor but no clue on his background. I guess I have to do my own homework. Dont use this office if your in pain cause they dont care. They treat pepole like cattle.
Jane Folk: This office and the staff are totally incompetent! They scheduled my knee replacement surgery for November 1st and changed the date without advising ME, the patient. I had to find this change out from a call from the hospital telling me I had missed a pre op appointment today. O' Malley's nurse, Bridgett, failed to inform me of this appointment with the hospital and the change in my surgery. Apparently Dr O'Malley had to change his vacation plans and no one took responsibility to tell me. They do not care about patient well being and I will NEVER go back there or allow them to touch me. Stay away from this dr and office!
Jesse Soileau: I was in and out in no time and helped in what I thought was a very professional manner. All of which was great and deserving of more that 2 stars. But all that I can think of now is the $400 Bill for less than 30 minutes and a few x-rays. I must say that 2 stars is about all I'm willing to give any medical organization within the current culture of organizational profits above all. So take that for what it's worth.
Amanda Mock: Dr. Brown saved my life. All pain was gone immediately after surgery. I don't know what I would've done without him.

Wake Orthopaedics: what do users think?
April Peebles: Our son was in a horrific car accident and was taken to WakeMed's trauma center. Dr Ganga and Dr Neal both performed surgeries on him. I can truly say that they put him back together again. Their professionalism, skill, and bedside manner was unmatched. Dr Neal's assistant Jennifer was so helpful and and assisted us with everything we needed. Her positive attitude and overall love for her job shined through. We are forever grateful to these professionals at Wake Orthopedics. Sincerely the Peebles Family.
Melbra LeGrand: The overall experience was not as bad as anticipated. Good patient care
Mikea Parsons: We got done everything we needed to, however they have serious communication issue here. Just to ask a quick question you will be on hold for 45+ minutes and then told to leave a voice mail. Mind you, it’s in the middle of the day… on a Thursday??Won’t be coming back. I need people to be active/available during THEIR business hours.
Celeste Pleasant: I visited Dr. Okechukwu Nwoko who diagnosed me with Dequervains disease. He acted like he was rushing he stuck a needle in my wrist without any numbing needle. It was very painful and I ask him after the awful stick job should I wear a brace he said NO. I will see you in a month we will see if you may need surgery. I still have the same issue. Currently under a new orthopedic doctor who is giving me the proper care and treatment.FYI YOUR ARE SUPPOSE TO WEAR A BRACE!
Shane Aldridge: Dr. Ganga is a very understanding and caring doctor, he fixed my broken arm with a plate and 10 screws. The only part that was bad was that I got a pretty serious infection from the surgery and had to get the metal taken out. I do not blame him for the infection but just keep in mind with any surgery there is always chance of infection, especially with implants. The man saved my life. Also the staff there is very friendly.
Razia Husain: Don't believe their claims of seeing patients on time, we waited for 1.5 hours without an apology.
Paul Rojas: Scheduling and any follow-up calls are very bad. Online portal failed to validate a simple code and told me to expect another email in a week? No appt confirmations or reminders. Can’t speak to the care but the service to just get in the door was awful
Patti Shapiro: Do not get any Medical Equipment if you can possibly wait!!!!Dr. Hanson was absolutely great, but not writing this about the care. He recommended a leg brace which helped tremendously. Wake Orthopedics charged $1338 for this brace which can be bought on Amazon for around $135. After the price negotiated by my insurance, the brace cost me more than $650.Don't get me wrong, I don't believe I should be paying an Amazon price at a medical office, but a charge of 10 times the price is absurd. Even the price negotiated by the insurance company is almost 5 times what I could have spent on Amazon. I certainly could have and would have waited an extra day or 2 and saved more than $500 from Amazon.
Nelson G: Professional and personable team at this facility.
Kari Thompson: Dr. Hanson and his nurse Ashley are fantastic. They are very skilled in making sure you are included in all the decision making and that you understand everything. Ashley has great communication skills. She has always been helpful with any questions or issues that I have had. I will definitely recommend these two.
Celestine Peterson: Did a get job with my knee replacement, and rehabilitation quality Care
Hayley Ann: In Sept 2021 I was in a horrible car accident that left me with a broken humerus and femur. Dr John Neal and his team completed 4 surgeries to heal my body and today was my last check in. I cannot say enough about him and his team at Wakemed. They saved my life and I am forever grateful.
Tim Veronelli: Everyone was courteous and professional and caring I could not say enough positive things about my overall experience with ankle surgery
T Wiley: Broke my ankle in fall 2021. Dr. Corey Thompson and team are excellent. Surgery was successful and recovery, for a 61 year old Grammy, was as fast as I could expect. I had a few complications (DVT and PE blood clots and needed additional wound care) but once that was taken care of recovery was a breeze. Rehab was great-if you are willing to put in the time! Love this doctor and team!
Marie Schelkle: Outstanding experience. Dr. Harris is professional and very knowledgeable. Entire staff proficient in dealing with patients.
Deb Hyson: Received fantastic post surgery care ! Everyone was patient, caring and respectful as well as highly skilled and talented. Would definitely recommend this location for your orthopedic needs.Dr. Neil rocks and is a fantastic surgeon.Thankful for the care i received.
czvallery: DR THOMPSON!!!! Cannot say enough good things about him. We saw him, for a broken foot, at Wake Ortho North and also the New Bern office. Kind, efficient, easy going- love him! Staff at both places was awesome including: Jessi Norton- tech taking off cast and replacing at New Bern office, Veronica, front desk New Bern, and Taj, the tech at wake ortho north. Everyone was helpful, kind and timely. They made a truly stressful situation much easier. Thank you!!!!
Crystal Burge: My son was in a car accident on Friday and broke his cervix and afterwards continued to complain about about his leg. We requested an extra on Saturday and continued to ask about him getting one. We were told he would be discharged on Thursday. Tuesday night my son asked again and finally they took the xrays to find out he had broken his tibia. Now understand this not a weight baring bone but he was already getting physical therapy and they were keeping him because of his pain. You know the leg they had not xrayed. Finally Wednesday evening they said he would be on stand by for surgery Thursday. Just told postponing again. My son has no insurance so they are racking up his bill for their incompetence. So I highly do NOT recommend this hospital.
Robert Hunter: Excellent pre op care
B J: It is definitely not the place to come to if you are a person of color and in pain. I have went there before and thought the negative experience was d/t being in pain. One would think that this would be the place to come to for medical assistance. Right? Wrong. Today, I was poked, prodded, touched and turned. After all that, when the provider walked in the room I knew she could care less about treating my pain. I also knew the pain medication she prescribed would barely offer relief. That group could have cared less. Gave some poor made up excuse for not prescribing something stronger. Do they believe people of color are not human and we don’t feel pain.?
Denise Calore: Dr. Regan and team are rock stars! I was referred to them due to ongoing sciatic nerve pain and no other treatment option has worked for years. I was afraid of surgery due to everyone saying very negative things. This experience at 56 yrs old was quite the opposite. My original consult was amazing - everything that would be done was explained very clearly in understandable terms by Dr. Regan. He sincerely cared about any questions and concerns I raised and took all my fear away. My procedure on l4-l5 discs went seem less and I was up and walking on my own in 24 hrs and walking multiple miles within a week. My pain was minimal and more like uncomfortable soreness. Even back on a peloton within a month and running and orange theory within 2-3 months. I attribute all of this to the skill and knowledge of the Wake team. Communication was very important to me and it was easy to get pre and post procedure questions answered within hours via email or phone. I highly recommend this practice to anyone!!!

Wake Orthopaedics: what do users think?
Kathy Redeker: Knowledgeable staff friendly courteous. Office well run. Smoothe appointments. Professional and courteous staff. Dr. Hanson is a diamond. His caring and taking time with you is comforting. His explaining is clear. Giving you time to ask questions is comforting and he tells you exactly what will go on. Honest responses. Totally all in his patient care and I am amazed at how well I am healing. Thank you Dr. Hanson and thank you to your team for taking great care of me and taking away that horrible pain and getting me back to my life. Thanking God for putting great people in my life. Thanking you and your staff for becoming the great surgeon you are and your team for their expertise also. Thank you Wake Med for being the great hospital you are. Thank you to great care I had after surgery Nurse Kimberly O RN, Maciej K,PT Jill,TyrekeM RN, Kim M RN,E McCool PA, Elizabeth H,Kara G, Tricia M. Kelly nurse manager. Thank you all and all involved in my presurgical prep and my anesthesiologist who was amazing. No after sore throat or anything. What an amazing team. So many involved. Such caring. Thank you. 5+ stars on this amazing team procedure.
Rose Langley: What a wonderful experience from registration with Sonya, Pre-op with Kari, Justin and Jazmin. Wendy the Nurse anesthetist and recovery with Mellany. All of these people were exceptional care givers and need to be recognized. They obviously love what they do. Can’t say enough about Dr Correa, he is awesome. Great bedside manner. Straight shooter and answers all questions. Thank you Wake Med for taking care of my needsWake Med Durant road/ Durant Road, Falls of Neuse location
Joyceline Thompson: Dr. Was kind and caring. He was knowledgeable. When he saw the condition of my knee, he discussed with me what needed to be done and set a date. I was so happy. I felt this would put en end to my many years of suffering. I remember telling him that he was my best friend. I felt a burden lifted.
Barbara Hargrove: My experience at Wake Med was so rewarding. I had a fall and I really thought there would be no help with my injury. I had the best treatment experience. I am so pleased at my recovery.
O Castillo: Recently had total knee replacement surgery at WakeMed North. I was very impressed with the high-quality service I received. Everyone was very professional, courteous & caring. I highly recommend WakeMed North.
John Horwitz: This is a review of the 'Office Staff', not the doctor"TODD was assigned to 'help' me navigate the pre-surgical process and answer my questions. I have met no others who could compete in the arena of Rude Behavior, Unhelpful Suggestions and Unwillingness to actually DO anything that was constructive, useful or timely!I was told that I would need to meed with anesthesia before surgery. I asked TODD for help in contacting them by phone. as I do not drive and a round-trip Uber wold set me back close to $100.00 TODD told me that if I did not make the meeting they would not let me have surgery. and there was nothing he could do about it.This was not the first time he was rude, but it would be his last. I fired him, as is my right as a patient. The day I fired him, he called me at home at 4:45 P.M to tell me that the doctor wanted to discuss the situation with me. I did NOT call the doctor back, as there was nothing to discuss!60% of patients do not follow up with their doctors because of rude support staff - TODD is certainly the Poster Child for that kind of behavior. My advice is this: Don't let TODD near you!
D P: I am a physician (a surgeon). I have referred multiple patients (and friends and neighbors) to Dr. Mark Wood in the past. I finally saw him this week as a patient myself. He is knowledgeable, experienced, calm/cool in demeanor and approach, and an absolutely excellent and outstanding physician. I would trust any of my relatives to his care.
Sharon Hodges: Staff at reception desk very friendly & professional f, from checking you in to scheduling follow up appointments. Both Dr. Greer & his assistant very caring & did not rush through appointment. Answered all questions I had & explained test results. Went over procedure I was getting and explained what results I should see
Denise Schneider: This is a great practice of Dr.'s - however you cannot get a person on the phone, they don't call back when they say they will. I had an MRI, Dr. told me to call and schedule as soon as the MRI was complete. I have an issue that will need surgery. I have been waiting for almost a month to get in to see the Dr. In the meantime I am in x-stream pain, and find it very difficult to walk. when I finally got the confirmation for my appoint. they made it for the Cary office and did not tell me. I am no where near Cary, and for the past 4 years I only gone to the one on Falls Of Nuese. Now once again, I cannot get anyone to talk to me. just message machine and once in a while an email from the admin. with no real answer to your questions. I need this taken care of and can't get ahold of anyone. Other than that the Doctors are awesome.
Jimmy Dean: I was 17 minutes late to my appointment because of a flat tire but the doctor refused to see me because of their "20 minute policy".Terrible.
Waldy Funk: They took extremely good care of me after I had a very problematic surgery, as an outpatient. I ended up staying 5 days, and can’t say enough positive about the staff and surgeon who cared for me.
Les Robertson: Wake Orthopedics-North Raleigh has the rudest, most unprofessional front office staff I have ever experienced.
Michelle omokaiye: I am satisfied and confident with Dr Hanson. He has done an outstanding job with my knee replacements. He does what he need to to ease my conscious about my condition.
Kerry Potter Johnson: Dr. Hanson is always pleasant, thorough and efficient. My appointments have always been very fast.
Charlotte Hamilton: The staff, from the Front Desk to the Doctor, has been amazingly helpful with each and every need. The level of care and assistance they provide to patients has me a WakeMed member for life.
Nelson G: I was made to feel as if I was the only patient being seen the day of my appointment.
Rita Pillar: After falling and breaking my arm, I saw Dr Johnny Nelson. I was in incredibly awful pain that none of the medication would touch. The Dr did a block which worked. What he did to my arm to me was incredible as he set the bones without use of X-ray, simply by touch. I now call him the bone whisperer! He did such a good job that when I went for follow up, the X-ray showed that the bones stayed in place and that I won’t need plates and screws! Highly recommend him!
Lucas Mack: They'll stick a bone back together alright, but don't want to recommend any PT or any constructive after care for 3 broken limbs. If you like not getting any answers, this may be the place for you
Rosemarie Vaughan: Dr. Mark Wood and the staff were wonderful! I would highly recommend this office to my family and friends.
Linda Laughter: Dr wood and Manie are wonderful!!Work hard to get u in when needed.Very kind. Always returns my calls.I highly recommend them.

Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic: Wakefield Office: what do users think?
bobby h: excellent visit with wesley as always
Chris V: Very professional 👍🏿
Melodie Villalobos: I guess my time isn’t worth anything. They want you to arrive 15 mins early just so you can be shoved in a hot office for an hour! Ready to walk out as I have other things to do today
Martha Poehler: Wes did the first of my three gel knee injections. He was professional and kept me relaxed for the procedure, which was easier than I expected.
George Massey: PA Doolittle assisted skillfully with the third steroid shot after carpal release procedure one year ago. It is disappointing that the initial work by Dr. Tuttle will require another surgery in future.
Dale Scales: Great
Toni Stadelman: The nurses, technicians, and Jess Ely (PA) were all extremely nice and helpful. I did not have to wait long for X-Rays or the PA to discuss the results with me. The PA took time to discuss options for treatment and answered my questions. I recommend this facility.
Michael Bradley: Trevor is the best he is professional but yet can relate to me as a patient in calming friendly manner.
Maurice Leach: Dr Dolittle had a fantastic attitude show that he was real caring very knowledgeable

Wake Orthopaedics Urgent Care: what do users think?
Cameron Wilt: Go anywhere else
Jessica Willis: We were checked in by 4:40pm. We spent our evening seating in the overflow hall. We got Ibuprofen @2 hours later. 3 hours later we got an X-ray which came back clear after another hour and were finally released at 9pm!
Amy Crowder: I took my 3 year old daughter here today because she fractured a bone in her arm. I loved all the staff- from the woman at the front desk who was super sweet, to the nurse who wrapped her arm and he dr who saw us… they were all great. Thankful for their kindness today.
Ashley Hollingsworth: I can’t say enough great things about my visit! From the time I walked in as a new patient my experience was amazing! Thankfully there was no wait, however even if there was I still would have been very pleased because all the staff was so kind, from the front desk, nurse, X-ray technician to the PA. They definitely know how to run an Urgent Care. The PA, Melissa, took her time with me and made me feel like I was the only patient there! Best urgent care experience I’ve ever had!
Dakota Kidney: I went on Monday morning to be seen. Even though they were extremely busy, I was seen, had my CAT scan, all of my labs done, and had my ultrasound done in a very efficient time frame. The staff was all very kind. The PA that I saw (Allyssa) was wonderful and took marvelous care of me. She got all of my meds approved very quickly and IV was started with 30 minutes of me walking in. Very happy to have chosen this hospital. 😀
Dave Johnson: Terrible and useless.
Margaux Spiegel: Anazing! From the office staff, X-ray tech to the PA. They ordered a stat MRI for me, the radiologist called me within an hour of me leaving the urgent care and scheduled me for the next morning. That afternoon I had my results and a follow up appointment with an orthopedic. Wonderful service and very caring providers. Thank you, PA Verceles and staff!
Jessica Jones: Called to be sure I could be seen here for a pain management issue after surgery and was told yes, they were open until 2pm on Saturday. Arrived at 12:40pm to find the door locked and the nurse who finally did come was extremely rude and stated they had closed early because they were too busy, despite NO patients in the waiting room. After the entire ordeal of breaking my ankle, having surgery to repair it then not being able to manage my pain, the very last thing I needed was a rude Karen that probably only wanted to get off early on Saturday. The ER had me in and out in an hour and a half, so I'm sure the time at Urgent Care would have been minimal, had they taken the time to see me.
Haley Ross: Disrespectful front desk employees. They do not explain the issue, they just repeat the exact thing over and over and do not give an explanation.
Anna Stauff: Wake Ortho Urgent Care has saved us many ED visits over the last couple years. The staff is amazing and equally good with kids and adults. Highly recommend for your ortho urgent care needs
David Hoover: Amazing care. My son broke his arm. Called on the way and they registered us on the way in the car. Walked in and we were seen immediately. X-ray done in a snap. Splint applied with expertise.Door to door 35 minutes. Thanks to all of the wonderful care givers at the Oberlin Rd Office.
Paul Ferri: Staff wouldn't even see me. Didn't care about my injury, or documented disability.
R.E. Potter: Wonderful Young Lady at the front desk. The P.A., Neal (I believe) was also very pleasant. HOWEVER, the lady that brought me back to the exam room (who never did introduce herself nor did I see a badge) and the radiologic technologist who took my images (who did introduce herself from around the hallway corner so I have no idea what her name was...again, never saw an ID badge) were both too busy to be bothered with my insignificant self. She was totally rushing about. Coffee cups (multiple) on the procedure room counter and other personal items. She also kept physically moving me without asking me to do it myself or warning me beforehand or giving me an opportunity to move myself. She was in too big a hurry. While her images were acceptable, the patient care and respect were definitely not there from her and the one who put me in the room. Having worked in healthcare myself for 25 years, perhaps I have different expectations. I was asked what were my major concerns for this visit and I mentioned my head and was quickly informed they didn't examine head trauma there, which begs the question, why doesn't the website state that or when you list that as an area of concern for the appt, why isn't the patient notified at that point that this isn't the appropriate site for that service? Why are patients given a two page form to complete when no one looks at it? I was asked questions I had already taken the time to answer in the reception paperwork. I'm fine with one or the other...but never both. Clarification, of course, but this lady never even looked at the forms! To have as few patients as they had at the time I was there, I would truly hate to see that place when they ARE busy. Overall, unprofessional by 2/3 of the medical staff and none of them seemed very caring...the PA was adequate and professional but I wouldn't say he actually gave 2 wits about me. Just kinda going through the motions was my impression. I get that it's been a tough year for medical professionals, but you can't outwardly show that NOR do I believe orthopedic urgent care actually bore much of that burden.Either way, I won't bother them again. Clearly they have more pressing things to address.
frank blue: Horrible experience. Would NOT recommend this business.
Linda Jones: I am posting on behalf of my Mother who in her own words said," I am 88 years old and Hardayal Singh, MD and his staff has been the best I have every experienced." "The constant professionalism displayed by Tish, Rebecca, Angela and Jennifer was outstanding." "I really appreciated all the help and support from the beginning to the end of my experience with this great team of health professionals." It is evident that Dr. Singh and his staff have a passion for what they do because I could hear it in their voices and see it in their faces." "This is what health care should be like everywhere." "Thank you Team." :)
Ellen Zwilling: Great service from all staff. Quick but thorough exam. Clean and welcoming environment.
Mike Crabtree: Went in on Monday and by Tuesday I feel 10x times better. Very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!
Dianne Rosenblum: This is not a urgent care as per the billing department. They bill as a Doctor's office when stated all over they are a Urgent Care. So they are charging me more money. The bill dept refuses to change the billing code. They also lied and said my daughter saw a MD but she saw a NP and a PA. This is unfair and they should be made to change their billing to refect exactly what care they are giving.
ivana susic: I hurt my ankle this week, so my husband and I went here because of how it was to where to we live. Wow, did we luck out! Such a friendly person at the front desk- kind, patient, helpful. I had to get ankle x-rays and the woman who helped me was just as kind as the front desk. Patrick, the NP who helped me, was phenomenal. He took his time explaining my injury, talking treatment plans, and helping me manage my expectations. While I hope I don't need their services very often, I would absolutely return.
Johnny: I have an injury to my wrist so I decided to go to closest orthopedics urgent care which was Wake Orthopaedics. I walked in and waited a couple of minutes before someone even acknowledged me. A lady said someone will be with me in a minute. A lady finally came to the front desk. She asked what the issue was and I indicated that I was having problems with my wrist. She proceed to go back into the back and came back out to tell me that they could not see me. I called EmergeOrtho 5 minutes after leaving Wake Orthopaedics office and was able to get an appointment. I'm not sure why Wake didn't want to see me but thank you very much EmergeOrtho.

EmergeOrtho: Paul J Kerner, MD: what do users think?
Tiffany Heath: Although the appointments are quick and can feel a little rushed, I enjoyed Dr. Kerner's sense of humor to try and keep me calm about getting cortisone shots in my knees. Also with his technique I barely felt the injections in my knees (well one of them). Usually you expect nurses and PAs to administer injections and the doctors are not usually that good at it because they don't do the injections often. But he was waayyyy better than the PA who gave me my cortisone shots at the same office a few years ago. Overall the office is professional and has a nice atmosphere.
Hank Stroup: Dr Kerner was prepared for the questions I had at my visit. His evaluations will be very helpful and determining the next actions doing with my arthritic knees.
Eric Burmahl: Dr. Kerner explained the situation with my foot with clarity and offered a surgical plan to help me. His knowledge and understanding are impressive and I look forward to him operating on me in the near future. You should see him, too.
John Byrd: Dr. Kerner and his staff are fantastic! They are warm and inviting, quick, and efficient. I've seen him since 2017 and he always takes care of whatever I need. One of his best qualities is that he is direct. He tells you what he thinks and why. That is so important in healthcare.
Teresa Collinsworth: I drive all the way from Morehead city to see Dr. Kerner. He is one of my favorites very professional staff is awesome I highly recommend.
Marcia Gordon: there was a bit of a long wait, but the doctor was very helpful and listen to my situation. the weight and the Cortizone shot was not too painful. I would definitely go back to this doctor again.
Angela Coley: My experience was very pleasant and professional from check in to check out. Dr. Kerner was very knowledgeable and charismatic. It is obvious that he cares for his patients.
Jeanne Freeman: Dr. Kerner was very Professional and pleasant. Thank you for your care
Christina Collier: I had a great experience with EmergeOrtho. They got me in immediately for a broken ankle and got me into surgery as quickly as they could.
Paul Buico: He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and straightforward with an air of confidence!!! I am glad he will be operating on me!!!
Leslie Gray: Dr. Kerner and his staff are truly the best. He never gave up on me and my continued foot pain from an injury 20 years ago and through multiple surgeries. The whole team is kind, caring, and understanding. Dr. Kerner is truly the best at what he does.
Cathy Lighton: I couldn't be happier with the care I was given with EmergeOrtho and Dr. Kerner is so down to earth and easy to talk with. My knee is better than ever.
Dona Norris: EmergeOrtho and Dr. Kerner were so nice and helpful. You can see that they really care about your well-being and recovery. Thank you so much!!!!
Robyn Winneberger: Dr. Kerner is top notch! Accommodating, personable and passionate about his work!
Karen Salina: Dr. Kerner is fast, friendly, and efficient
Susan Dent: Dr. Kerner answered all my questions. He was very pleasant and I would recommend him. I will definitely see him again if needed.
Tom Minahan: I was so impressed by Dr. Kerner after meeting him for the first time. He seems so caring and I like how direct he is.
Denisha Watkins: The wait time was very long and after I was sent back, the actual service was very short.
Darla Newell: Dr Kerner is a phenomenal Doctor. He is caring and compassionate. He is straight forward and does not sugarcoat his diagnosis. He has a great personality and you can count on a laugh or two with him. EmergeOrtho has an incredible Doctor with Dr Paul Kerner
Deborah B: I’ve only been here twice, but neither time did I feel like my needs and problems were heard at all. The dr was in and out in about 5 minutes if that. The second visit I waited for an hour with no one keeping me advised of the wait. I’m sure they’re very good, but I don’t feel like a valued patient.
Nicole Rousseau: I have been seeing Dr. Kerner since roughly the beginning of 2014, ever since Emerge Ortho was Triangle Orthopedics. He is a fantastic provider and always goes above and beyond. Listens to my problems and my needs and takes the time to explain what it is I am experiencing and why I am. He also lays out all my options and goes deep into depth with each one. I have had previous surgery with him in 2014 and would definitely recommend him to anyone. I also see him every few months for injections into my ankle that I broke when I was 16 to gain more mobility and less swelling or pain. I would definitely recommend him and his staff to anyone! See y’all soon!

Raleigh Orthopaedic Surgery Center: what do users think?
Krystal & Travis: Amazing from the time I walked through the door till I left. So comforting and answering all my questions. Made the whole process that much easier. Dr Logel and his staff were awesome
Ron Obremski: Recognized you as a person, not a number.
Sharon Paterson: This was my 3rd orthopedic surgery at ROC. If i ever need another one I will go there again if i have the choice. They take exceptional care of their patients.
Ron Regular: Great professional service (from receptionist, to P.A.'s who administered two needle relief to my left hip.) After Dr. Watters reviewed the x-rays, he quickly identified the problems in my knee and hip. He believes the physical therapy to be received for the knee will take care of the hip pain also so that no further shots will be needed. No need for any radical action. I was given a list of locations for treatment and I left completely satisfied.
Don Gardlik: Couldn't ask for a better experience at this facility. Everyone was on their game!
Beth Clayton: Awesome staff!
Pat Forrest: Totally impressed with everyone, but the nursing staff is top-notch! The surgery center is very clean and well managed.
Maurice Bland: Very nice facility & friendly staffs.
Fazal Khaja: Excellent Doctor and his team.Dr Boes did my total knee replacement. Nursing staff was super friendly.
Jack Gale: Dr Wei & staff were great!
Diane Scott: Everyone at this facility is happy which translates into the best possible patient experience given the fact that surgery is on the table. So grateful that this is where my procedure took place.
Vivian Hollingsworth: Finding my veins was very difficult a being stuck seven times.
Shelly Thompson: Everyone who helped us was exceptional.
Cheryl Bauer: Amazing from the time I walked through the door till I left. So comforting and answering all my questions. Made the whole process that much easier!
Cheryl Wilson: Back in 2010, my son’s high school anatomy teacher -Kate Allen-was at a fundraiser bragging about her new hip. Since I had an issue with my left hip due to hip dysplasia at birth-I asked for the name of her surgeon. It was Dr Bradley Vaughn! I eventually went for evaluation appointments with Dr Vaughn from 2012-2022 and finally made the decision to go for it and have the total hip conversion on May 15, 2023.. In 1982-at age 20-I had a Triple Steele Osteotomy on the left hip. My left hip was not anatomically correct plus I have osteoporosis/now down to osteopenia due to Reclast infusions-making my total hip conversion more challenging than the norm. But literally everyone I met who knows Dr Vaughn gave him the highest of praises! I went into the surgery with confidence I had the best surgeon possible! Dr Vaughn and his entire team were absolutely amazing! They have every tiny detail from registration to surgery prep, to surgery, recovery and discharge down to a science. But even more amazing is how good I feel and how well I’m doing! I’ve never felt pain from the actual surgery…so I started taking only Tylenol and Ibuprofen and aspirin on day 2 after the surgery. (plus the stronger pain meds made me nauseous)Here it is day 4 after surgery and I’m feeling great! Obviously there are precautions I need to follow and lots of PT to do…. my son who is a PT will be my personal PT for the first 4 weeks…and then I’ll transition to a PT close by…but I am so optimistic about this new hip!!!…and many, many thanks along with a grateful heart and hip go out to Dr Vaughn and his team along with everyone at the ROSC!
Tracie Jacobs: so grateful to the knowledgeable, compassionate and expert team that got me through my wrist surgery ! I can't thank you enough!
Nedra Mills: staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Well equipped and very clean.
Jeff Jones: I had a meniscus tear and I was walking for a 2 mile walk four days after the surgery.
Steven King: Staff was amazing and Dr Dan Albright is the best surgeon in Raleigh!! The entire experience was so professionally prepared and everyone did a wonderful job! Thank you Dr Albright and thank you to your team!Steven King
Dana Peterson: I had the best experience and would recommend them to anyone. They were well organized and didn't waste anytime getting you in and out.
Joy Southwell: I was scared to have knee replacement. Every person who took care of me was amazing and I have had 5 other surgeries at other places. Debbie who took me back was awesome! She talked to me and calmed my nerves and explained everything she was doing. I don’t remember the surgical team names but they put me as ease when my heart was racing and palms were sweating. Emily took care of me when the surgery was over and did an excellent job! I was in at 8am and home at 2pm. Thank you all so much!
