Cameron Campbell: Horrible experience. Bread was old, I've had better Alfredo sauce in a can and they charge you the same amount for an appetizer as the meal version and the portions for everything were small. Besides the food just plain out being bad the older/bigger man that was setting at the front bringing people in and telling them where to sit had an attitude problem from the jump as soon as we got there. Bad food and horrible customer service, it's a no for me. Save your time and money and find another spot to eat.
Crystal Campbell: I'm sad to say we were disappointed with our dinner as a whole, maybe they were just having an off night but our experience was not good. To begin with when our bread was delivered you could tell by the taste, chew, and smell that it was not fresh. However, to be completely honest these were the first two baskets our party of 12 were served, after having to ask for additional bread the next two baskets came out warm and fresh. The next issues was with the Lobster bisque. Three members of our group ordered this and none of the three bowls had a single piece of Lobster in them and what was served was very runny and lacking in flavor. One of the members of our group ordered the stuffed mushroom, and described the taste as medicine like and could not eat what was served. Three of the members of our group had sweet tea with their meal and each one agreed it was good but none of them was ever offered a refill. The pasta dishes and salads that were served were good, not amazing, and the portions did not equal up to the cost. All in all not a very good experience for our group, but again I do understand this could have been an off night for the restaurant.

Tarek: We had dinner for a party of 18 people (two separate long tables). The food was good. We got the one with pink sauce. The atmosphere is a little dark lit.The service was not the best, we didn’t get any bread for the tables until the end and they only have one basket.
Justin Kashmer: My experience was terrible. The worse service ever. Took my wife out dinner food came out. My steak was over cooked big time. They didn't have steak knifes. I tried cutting my steak with a butter knife. I sent it back and ordered. Pasta, and it took 25 min for the pasta. My wife was done eating by then. And we ordered a $75 bottle of champagne and our sever spilt some of the bottle on the floor. I will never go there again. And my wife and I were going to have our wedding ceremony there, but not anymore. The beat thing about our dinner was the bottle of champagne from Italy.

Mike Beasley: Our second time dining here and we were not disappointed. I think everyone ordered a different entre and all were pleased. Waiters were excellent and provided great service and explained the daily specials and how they were prepared. We will go again I can reccomend this authentic Italian restaurant. Good food, plenty of food at a fair price and a warm atmosphere.
Lizeth Panuco: Was there this past Saturday, reservation for 7. Dinner was great! We had 2 birthdays and they brought out cheesecake for both of them. Santiago (I believe that’s his name) our server was amazing! We will definitely return! I totally recommend the Angel hair primavera!

Chelsea Hoag: I have loved this restaurant for many years and have always bragged about how good the food is to friends. Tonight I cannot express the same sentiments. My husband and I each ordered wine, a cheese board, and tagliatelle bolognese. The wine and cheese were on par, but the tagliatelle bolognese was disappointing. This is my go to dish and it was not made correctly. The noodles were sticking together and the gravy was much more creamy than usual. It is usually more meaty and red, but tonight it was a lighter red/pink. I chalked that up to the chef on staff tonight, but my opinion shifted when we received our dessert. We ordered a traditional slice of cheesecake, which was $11! When it was brought out to our table, it was blindingly obvious it was store bought and not homemade. It tasted just like Target's Favorite Day brand cheesecake and was tiny! For the price we were charged, this was very disappointing. My husband and I also both noted that the restaurant was very empty compared to when we have visited in the past and I think for a Saturday night, that speaks to the change in quality of their food. We love Italian and both noted that we would be going to Cafe Luna next time. I hope changes are made because I used to really love this restaurant.

Nate did a great job checking in often and keeping me hydrated anytime my glass of water was low. The restaurant is clean. Very comfortable seating here.The food was okay. I feel the best thing was the garlic knots and fettucini alfredo. My all-time favorite and go-to Italian - American style entree order is the chicken parmesan & fettuccini alfredo. I love the white and red sauce together. I guess this wasn't understood and the chicken parm wasn't marinated properly. I had to do the work of getting the red sauce over my chicken by asking for extra gravy. The chicken parmesan was flavored well.Overall: The calamari appetizer had a great flavor but the batter was not coated well and it fell off. I do feel calamari and the chicken was perhaps cooked too fast. I felt the inside of the chicken texture was weird for me which came from cooking too fast. The same for the risotto ball appetizer- - cooked too fast! These were Fried Arborio rice stuffed with fontina served over gravy (tomato sauce). The flavor was everything and I enjoyed that part but everything seemed to be cooked too fast. The rice stuffed in the balls wasn't piping hot like the external.Gravy didn't win my heart this time.I guess I may need to try one of the more popular dishes. I felt it was hard to mess up Chicken Parm, but for me, it fell short here.

Elizabeth Groeschner: I went to a birthday dinner and I wanted to bring a cake so I emailed them to see if that was ok and they wanted to charge me $20 for an outside food fee. Absolutely ridiculous and I have never been charged at any restaurant I have done this with in the Triangle. The ac was broken and it was terribly hot and we were not told this ahead of our reservation for 15 people and they did nothing to compensate us for being miserable. The server was pretty good and so was the food. The marinara had too much heat. Not a great experience overall.

Lance Kruse: What a great place - both times! We stumbled upon Farina two years ago and loved the food and service and vowed to come back. Well, we were new to the area and forgot the name/could never find this place again. However, we happily found it, now two years later, and are so happy we did! After our failed attempt to go to Enrigo's for a friend's birthday (go check out my review for Enrigo for that story), we were encouraged to enjoy a great Italian meal and we are so happy we were able to do that at Farina.With no reservation at 7pm on a Saturday, they were able to seat our party of two immediately. Our server was Brooke who was extremely nice, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided very prompt and stellar service. Making recommendations and asking for refills or if we needed anything before we even thought about it was fantastic.The meals here are always delicious. The calamari is quite delicious and the peppers add a delightful fresh, salty-spicey kick to the calamari. The aioli is also quite tasty.For meals, we had the Pesto Primavera with chicken and the Farina (Meat) Pizza. The pasta had a delicious pesto sauce and paired with a healthy portion of pasta and chicken. The pizza was also delicious - thin crust, not too much sauce, and well seasoned toppings. The sausage was delicious and the peppers on the pizza added depth. Did you know they make their own in-house made butter? It was delicious and took the ever normal table bread to a different level. We actually asked for more bread and butter because it was so tasty!The cocktails were also delicious - strong and not too sweet.Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience from the kind host, prompt service, and delicious food. We will definitely be back for our next dose of Italian cuisine!

Elizabeth Hoover: The staff here are wonderful. My family and I love going to Farina's for a special celebration or just a nice meal out at a place where you can still hear one another talk. Delicious pasta, warm crusty bread with salted rosemary butter, and desserts worth trying. The entire plaza is like a little slice of Europe, so it is fun to walk around afterwards.Vegetarian options: Hands down, one of their BEST, most unique dishes is the Balsamic Mushroom pasta.Kid-friendliness: My son loves their smaller sized pizzas.Parking: The parking garage is a great option for staying dry on a rainy day! Eva Mitalova: Unfortunately, my family and I had a VERY negative experience at Farina. We’re put on a waitlist for 1.5hrs for an outside table (and we were happy to wait). After more than 2.5hrs wait, visibly clean empty tables available and 3 super hungry children, Farina’s extremely unprofessional manager managed nothing but to ruin my special mother’s day weekend. He confronted me as a customer, he made me feel very uncomfortable and, if not say, disfavored. The restaurant is nice, but it definitely needs a professional manager.

Stephen Johnson: A genuinely quality dining experience in center city Raleigh. Shawn Googins: Having just been to Florence Italy we ran across this place and I saw pictures of dishes I had there and in Tuscany. Mulino didn't dissapoint with authentic Italian cuisine. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. I had the burrata, and the Tagliatelle with the bolanase which was fantastic. The Italian ice cocktail was refreshing and not too sweet, the Tiramisu was on point as well. We'll be back!

J. B.: Gorgeous spot. Love the water spot in the courtyard. The outdoor ambiance is absolutely stunning. A little difficult to get to using Google Maps and parking is tight. Fresh pasta, drinks and food were delish. I was not a fan of the cannoli, nor the fact that you have to pay for the bread. I had the pasta bolognese and it was very good. The shrimp and calamari could have been more flavorful. I'd definitely go back, I bet it's stunning in the outdoor section at night!
Maria Doyle: My mom, my cousin and I were originally seated in the bar area (the restaurant was busy) and five minutes later the manager got us a table. He made us feel at home. I ordered the spaguetti bolognese and it was so delicious! The Crème Brûlée was the best I have ever had, when I cracked the caramel layer, it revealed the best tasting custard. The service was excellent, I will be going back soon.

I always am picky about Italian food because I spent a month or so in southern Italy and it high key ruined my ability to enjoy normal American italian food.Anyway! Karen Waluk: We have been dining at Bella over 20 years pretty regularly. Until recently we could always depend on a great meal. In the last few months things have taken a hard turn for the worse. Today's meal was another disappointment. Penne with Marinara and grilled chicken. The marinara was watery and tasted like it came right from a can to my plate. The chicken was 'odd tasting' tiny pieces that looked like what we call 'fake chicken'. I won't even comment on the pasta. Even simple dinner rolls are horrible anymore. We have given our favorite place multiple chances over the last few months hoping things would turn around; instead, things have only gotten worse. Going there is like rolling the dice and we've been losing consistently lately; I'm sad to say that we'll have to find a new place. We've been frequenting VIVO quite a lot and will likely make that our constant going forward. I breaks my heart to see this happening after so many good years and memories.

Chris Foley: Food quality is very questionable, and a lot of it seems frozen or microwaved. Entrees are $20, which does come with a salad to be fair, but very expensive if everything is not fresh. I'm hoping my experience is a one-off, but not willing to come back as my stomach hasn't been the same since visiting.
