Duke Endocrinology of Raleigh: what do users think?
Denise DeLellis: Shout out to the front desk of Duke Endocrinology of Raleigh. Nika (hope I spelled it correctly) was a pure joy when I had to reschedule my appointment. I am starting a new job and I was stressed about rescheduling as I live an hour away. Nika offered a telehealth appointment with my doctor and was so reassuring about everything!! She made my day with her amazing words of encouragement!! Thank you Nika!
Candace Worth: I tried for 2 weeks to make a new patient appointment and got a referral from my primary to boot. I checked with Cigba my insurance carrier to make sure I'd get an in network provider. I checked the info the insurance sent me and saw that this practice was in network and accepting new patients. The second time I tried calling after waiting 8 days until they received the referral they told me they were not accepting new patients. Where does all of this confusion come from? Who knows what they're doing anymore?
Alma Burke: Dr. Blakley took the time to thoroughly discuss and inform about medical condition and recommend treatment.

Corey D. Berlin, MD: what do users think?
Brea Vasquez: Dr. Berlin is phenomenal! He is thorough and thoughtful and it is a breathe of fresh air to not feel rushed during a medical visit. He took the time to explain all of my options and differentiate what each treatment plan would mean for me. His knowledge made me feel confident and optimistic. The staff members were also extremely kind and helpful throughout my visit. Thank you Raleigh Endocrine & Dr. Berlin!
deborah flynn: Love love love Dr. Berlin - he is professional and interested, he asked a lot of questions and I felt he was truly trying to understand my medical issues. Plus he is fun and positive to be around, just a wonderful experience!
stephanie shaffer: Dr. Berlin was recommended by a colleague and I was very pleased with my first visit. I was seen promptly and every person with whom I came into contact was kind and professional. Dr. Berlin took time to talk with me and answer all my questions.
Ken Wheeler: Dr Berlin and his staff are always very responsive to my needs.Even with the ongoing staffing issues everyone is facing. Thanks to the whole team.
Robert Cop: New to the area my wife was in dire need of an Endocrinologist, she settled on Dr. Berlin and from start to finish it has been a nightmare. Her first appointment was over an hour and a half late. Ignoring that she has been asking for him and his nurse to re-fill her meds for two weeks of which they have not returned her calls or had the decency to give her an update. It has been a unprofessional experience from start to finish. Avoid this practice.
Jennifer King: I give a five-star review because the professionalism of the office staff is outstanding. Dr. Corey Berlin is warm, caring and thorough with an excellent "bedside manner" which is what is needed in the health care industry today. He took his time with me and did not rush through the appointment which I truly appreciate. I can see why the staff is kind and caring working with someone like Dr. Berlin. From the front office to the nurse and other staff working alongside of Dr. Berlin, to the ladies who assisted me at check out, the whole team helped make the experience positive and their friendliness left a good impression. This includes the ladies in the lab too!In this day and age everyone needs kindness, and we should let others know when we receive great customer service. Thank you to the Raleigh Endocrinology Team and Dr. Berlin...YOU ALL SHINE! Keep up the great customer service. You are a blessing.
Tom Croyle: Not working after treatment
Jen T: I hesitated in posting this because I understand people are humans and we make mistakes but I feel like I should be honest to possibly help someone else save their time and look elsewhere. Dr. Berlin is very knowledgeable and friendly. I was referred to him by a family friend. To make a long story short, after several visits and blood tests that spanned from July-Oct of 2021 (with excruciating joint pain and fatigue), the doc lost his last visit notes on me. The visit that summed up my prognosis, and how he was going to diagnose and treat my symptoms. I was ready to finally be on some sort of medication to treat my health concerns that was ruining my quality of life, but was met with a request to come back for another blood test in 3 months. He didn't remember me from Adam and even tried to refer me to his wife's clinic. I left the office crying and frustrated. To add: Every visit was AT LEAST an hour wait. Even if you book his very first appointment of the day. I don't know if it was because of my young age but I always felt like I was always put at the bottom of the list (literally - one day I was the last patient to be seen with the lights going out even though I booked my appt for 3:45pm).
Delanie Brown: Dr. Berlin is a good doctor. He listens to his patients and considers your entire medical history, family history, and concerns before making a diagnosis. Great bedside manner. The nurses, Ann and Keisha are also very kind and helpful. The lab technicians responsible for bloodwork, Cathy and Michael are also very thorough and knowledgeable. You can tell they are well-trained and have been doing their job for years. Overall, the energy of the staff is great. Some of the receptionists could use some training, but no office is perfect.
Michele Drevenak: Dr. Berlin is a compassionate and thoughtful doctor. He spends the time with you to listen and explain your treatment. I appreciate his time.
Maria Scheel: Dr. Berlin is incredibly knowledgeable and I am so thankful for his care. I love that he listens to my concerns and takes his time with me at every visit. Finding the right doctor can be a process so I realize how lucky I am to have found him. I highly recommend anyone looking for an endocrinologist who actually cares about his patients to see Dr. Berlin.
micayla Mcgee: A horrible experience from start to finish. I came to Dr. Berlin with an already established diagnosis. He made it very clear that because my diagnosis was so rare, he knew very little about it and “we would learn about this together”. This made me wary from the beginning, as to the fact I was not looking for a medical provider to learn WITH rather than looking for a doctor that would help guide me through my diagnosis. I decided to take the leap with him and from there, he ordered THIRTEEN blood tests at one time “to be as thorough as possible”. After more visits, Dr. Berlin’s nurses failed to even order one of my MANDATORY prescriptions needed for another one of his required tests. He completely forgot to go over an MRI (the whole reason why I came to him in the first place) and seemed to be convinced I had underlying diseases which I had no other symptoms for. When bringing all of these issues to his attention, never in my LIFE would I have thought the outcome of a concerned patient- would be that of a health professional yelling at me and my spouse. I wish I were exaggerating when I state that my spouse and I were yelled at. Dr. Berlin was quick to raise his voice and tell us that our concerns were never made aware to him and his nurses were never in contact about these issues… which raises the concern of how well this staff communicates with one another. He also had the audacity to tell my spouse that his opinion was WRONG for feeling like we were not a priority, and asking him “are you so good at your job that you’re not allowed to make mistakes?”. Mistakes are allowed to be made. Yes. We are all human. But as a health “professional”, you should be able to take ownership and criticism without verbally assaulting his patients. Dr. Berlin then went on to try and immediately end the meeting telling us this was a waste of his time and he had no issue releasing us out of his care. I told him that I wasn’t going anywhere without my test results. This has been the worst experience with a health professional I have ever witnessed. Patient care should not be “mistakes slipped through the cracks”, or “fires being put out” (direct quotes from Dr. Berlin)… I shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience, a burden, or a test guinea pig. My health matters. My thoughts and concerns matter. My opinion matters. Even if this high tempered man doesn’t believe the same. No patient should ever feel belittled or cornered by someone that you are supposed to trust with your well being. Unfortunately, that is exactly how I felt while in his care.
Alexandria A Daniels: I’ve just begun treatment with Dr. Berlin, I originally scheduled an appointment with him because I wanted a second opinion on how to treat my hyperthyroidism. I was immediately relieved after talking with him just for a few minutes and hearing how he thinks outside of the box and makes it personal. I’m so much more comfortable proceeding with treatment or surgery because he explains everything in detail and keeps you involved. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Berlin and I look forward to working with him over the next year or so.
mickey kavanagh: Dr. Berlin is simply the BEST! I have been to 4 other endocrinologists and none of them could diagnose or figure out what was going on. I went to him with severe thyroid disease so bad I couldn’t even get out of bed. He listened, he heard what I said about having medication sensitivity. He did bloodwork no one did before, he went slow with my treatment to make sure my body took to the medication. He does follow ups frequently to check levels so you have the best chance of healing. I can’t tell you how much better I feel and it’s all due to his diagnostic abilities and how much he cares. Not only is he a good doctor, but he’s such a relatable person and shares conversations with you just like an old friend! I’ve recommended to many friends and neighbors with full confidence that he can help them.
Niti Ashar: I love seeing Dr. Berlin at this office - he is always kind, listens to me, and shares personal stories about his family that helps me relate to him as a provider. I always look forward to coming to my visits and feel as though he as helped me incredibly. Thank you to all of the staff and Dr. Berlin! - Naima
Haley Glick: **I hope Dr. Berlins office/family/medical board see this review because he should NOT be allowed to practice medicine** I work at a doctors office and know how detrimental bad reviews can be so I'm typically not the type to leave a negative review but since I went with this practice because of the positive reviews and was let down I figured I would warn any new patients looking for care. I saw Dr. Berlin and while his nurse was amazing and beyond sweet, he was HORRIBLE and I don't mean that lightly. I went to him post cancer treatments with many symptoms leading to an endocrine issue. The first appointment he spend trash talking his family and life while writing down my symptoms in between complaining. He didn't go over anything with me just sent me for lab work and wrote me off. I blew it off and figured maybe he was having a bad day as we ALL do at some point. Lab work came back and I went in for a follow up appointment. The whole appointment was spent talking about his upcoming beach trip for the holidays and how unhappy he was having to go. Not ONCE talking about what my lab work could mean regarding the symptoms I was experiencing. This was now the second time he treated my appointment like he was at the bar with a friend. I was fed up but agreed to do some more lab work. As we were wrapping up the appointment with the nurse and him he began trash talking the NEXT PATIENT he was seeing. Talking about another patient WITH ME, using her by name and discussing her medical care. THIS IS BREAKING ALL HIPPA VIOLATIONS YOU CAN BREAK! One of the other nurses even heard him and made a comment about him breaking HIPPA. My next lab results came back "normal" and he blew me off. Dismissing all the symptoms I had. Thank you for NOTHING Dr. Berlin. I hope you see this and turn your practice around.
malibu1966: Dr. Berlin is very personable, professional and caring. He always answers the questions a clear answer provides good feedback.
Phyllis Wade: Very attentive to my health concerns.
Carolee Poythress: Great office and staff , very nice , efficient . Dr Berlin does above and beyond for his patients, take his time with you and goes over everything in detail. Highly recommend .
Edward Propst: Could not have been any better
Victor Jones: Provides exceptional service, and shows he cares more about the patient's health than making a dollar.

Duke Endocrinology at Brier Creek: what do users think?
Rene Vanek: The staff here is really great-especially the admins, they are so nice and funny. Clean facility.
Lynda Purcell: Tried for 45 minutes to call my dr
Charles Mclamb: My diabetes was getting out of control and was spiraling downhill before I was referred to Dr. Barnosky at this location earlier this year. My A1C level has gone down from a 12 to a 7.2. She is an excellent doctor and I believe has perhaps extended my life. I wish I could give 10 stars to her and the professional staff at Duke Endocrinology. I recommend anyone who has bad sugar needs to see this Endocrinologist if they want to improve their quality of life. Thank you so much!
L R Dyke: Diabetes Clinic 10207 Cerny St #306, Raleigh, NC 27617
Mike Nilsson: I was really impressed with this clinic. They were courteous, thorough, and efficient. Thank you!
Chris Fonck: Made an initial appt for a scope (in July) that was for 2 months out because it was the first opening. Now just called to reschedule and the next opening is in December. This is Aug 11th! Good thing this is not somewhat serious. Or could be depending on results of scope, which I would need to wait an additional 4 months for. Yikes
Wenhong Cao: I tried to cancel my appointment with this clinic by phone. But, I was on hold forever every time until I had to hang up. After 3 tries on different days, I finally got to talk to someone and had it canceled. I could have just kept the appointment without showing up. What kind of service is that?Wenhong Cao

WakeMed Pediatric Endocrinology: what do users think?
Latarsha Bunn: Dr. Hillary Locke mere is a great doctor. She is friendly and knowledgeable and always take time to listen and manage your concerns.
Stephanie Gill: The worst experience in healthcare I’ve ever experienced. No live person to talk to, scheduling issues, staff not knowledgeable with different insurance companies, and SO MANY LOSE ENDS. Parents with newly diagnosed type 1 children please save yourself the stress and find another practice for your child.
Owen Clark: We have gotten great care from Dr. Lockemer and Wakemed Childrens Endocrinology for the last 8 years.
D. Y.: Have been calling for two weeks only to always have an answering machine answer but they never return my calls. Is anyone even working there? No one from other departments could give me an answer either. Just gonna have my pediatrician refer my child somewhere else.
Keith S.: Great service and all, but that number needs to connect to real people, most of the options to call direct take you straight to a automated voice mail which does not help.
Ashley A: We have had a wonderful experience with Dr Lagarde. We will continue to see him. He is friendly and thorough.

Dr. Hillary Lockemer: what do users think?
Sarah Capozio: Dr. Lockemer saved my son's life. She ordered him his Dexcom when his previous doctor wouldn't give us the tools we needed. He has gained 90 lbs and a foot of growth since being with her. She is an amazing doctor and person. She truly cares for all her patients and their families. She is the best doctor ever, of any specialty.
Emily T: Dr. Lockemer is a wonderful physician! She's an intelligent problem-solver and always takes the time to address my concerns and questions. She volunteers her time for educational outreach (such as JDRF events) and is always working to improve the experience her patients have with the hospital and clinic. We are grateful for the care she has given our child!
