Melissa Beaman: At end of April I bought a 19 dollar black elephant ear bulb from Logan’s. I planted it immediately, then waited and waited and waited. Yesterday I dug it up and took it back to Logan’s because they guarantee their perennials and I hoped to either get a replacement or a refund. I was told that the elephant ears have a 14-day return/refund policy so I was out of luck. If I had known that they had a different return policy than the other perennials I would have returned it within the 14 days! No sign mentioned this and of course I knew it hadn’t sprouted in 14 days. I was waiting trying to be patient. Very unhappy with the way this was handled. Next time I’ll get one at Walmart for less than half the price at Logan’s.

I felt so inspired and wanted to buy all of the plants. I will absolutely be coming back here when I tear my yard up again. Everyone we spoke to was very knowledgeable and kind. I was very impressed by the varieties they carried and the infographic chalk boards throughout. They offer many services including Wedding arrangements and renting out a space which was very cool. Inside the shop at the top of the hill there is a bar. They have dried lavender buds, braclets, and small gifts ideas. I was very happy we stopped by ❤️

Sarah Midolo: Atlantic has some of the most gorgeous, well cared for, and fairly priced house plants in the Raleigh area. They have both more common and rarer houseplants - all of the plants I have bought from Atlantic have thrived, with no pest or root issues. They often have good deals (BOGO dormant orchids, different philo discounts) and always have a kind, welcoming staff and environment. AND there is a bar inside with craft beers for only $3! It truly has a little bit of everything for everyone.

When I asked for advice a day or 2 after purchase, I was told to go back and buy some spray and hope for the best. Keep your fingers crossed for my plant! Inspect your plants closely before buying! Especially the underside of leaves as I did not ☹️

It was only one bartender working and it was pretty busy in the bar area. I give the bartender credit it was definitely more champagne than juice but that was ok with me. We walked around outdoors afterward to look at plants. Cool vibes didn't even know they had a bar in there.

Lark Wells: We always end up spending way more time here than we want (or need?) to. Last weekend we planned to make raised flower beds and came prepared with the list of everything we needed. It took forever to find what we needed in the lumber section, much less the person who was actually supposed to cut the lumber (a nice guy named Allen helped instead). The cashier in the garden center knew nothing about gardening--or smiling. He was able to find a helpful lady who knew more, but she got picked off by another customer needing help so we forgot to ask her how to get assistance bringing bags of soil to our car and ended up doing it ourselves instead. I guess that's the Lowe's motto, though! Build it yourself, we'll be busy in the back.

Libby S: I had emailed a bunch of nurseries searching for a specific kind of hydrangea. Homewood answered promptly and confirmed their prices and stock. I stopped in today and was greeted by an employee who pointed me in the right direction. I got the plants I wanted quickly, check out was simple and organized (there are signs everywhere and the employees are helpful) and was on my way with exactly what I was looking for. Their prices are quite reasonable for the size plants I bought and the plants appear healthy. There was no shortage of them to choose from either. It's not the closest garden shop to me, but I'll be back regardless.

Royce Marcus: Have been here only a few times - when my plants needed some TLC and a bit more expertise than I had and the staff has always been incredibly helpful and accommodating! The team seems well staffed to help out and truly take their time with you - even on a Saturday.Today Savanah worked with me for probably close to an hour to help me repot a monstera that had gotten a bit too big for my pot and was starting to suffer because of it. Not only did she help me select a pot, she provided a recommendation of how to keep more it more stable, as well as noticed some pests on it and made a recommendation of a product and how to get rid of them.I never felt rushed or like I was taking away from their "job". Their job was to help me and make thoughtful recommendations and that's really powerful and rare these days.

Wendy Serrano: There was a great selection of plants and the staff was so nice and knowledgeable. We checked all the plants we picked up and quite a few had spider mites or other pests so just make sure to look closely at the plant you purchase or have a good system for removing pests before putting your new plant with the rest of your plants. Unfortunately pests come with plant parenting so keep your plants safe by checking them before you buy and quarantining them before putting them with the rest of your plants.

Sandi Dupree: I purchased the 50/50 topsoil for my garden. I have been extremely displeased. Before I ordered it I was told it was organic matter but after raking it out in the garden I have found lots of plastic, wood with blue paint on it, pieces of red netting, plastic kids toy army men and glass pieces and lots of very big hard clumps even after tilling it several times. I called and voiced my concerns because I have spent lots of money to get my garden totally organic. The guy there told me the owner would call me but he did not. I’m so upset with it because of all the investments I’ve made to make it organic and now I have several yards of this in my garden. Never again will I buy from here.

It come in rolls instead of bales and the number of sticks, leaves, pine cones and other debris in the roll is terrible. Last year I had a delivery of some of the best quality pine straw I have had, but unfortunately, that gentleman doesn't provide that service any longer, so I tried Family Home & Garden.Next time i will be searching elsewhere.

Time will tell how the grass grows!Update April: generally very clean stuff. However there was some broken glass in the mix. Probably found 25 or so pieces slightly larger than a quarter, tho not particularly sharp. No roots, fungus, or weeds tho!Dutch white clover taking to it just fine. Expect no growth issues. Grass is certainly greener than the areas that didn't get any of this stuff.

Angela Oliveros: My regular nursery was out of Papyrus plants so I have called Campbell previous to my visit looking for a Papyrus plant. The person on the phone was warm and ready to provide information and inventory about the 3 varieties they carried. The following day I went over to get them.The person I asked although prompt to help me, fizzled. She could find but one variety-King Tut and was clueless about the other two mentioned over the phone to me. While getting information about my inquiry of the other two varieties mentioned the day before she busied herself at the cash register while I was waiting for information about the other papyrus plants. I still decided to get the plant and I asked to put it aside next to her while i took a quick look around. She said " no problem". While I was looking for plants to go along with the papyrus King Tut, I found the staff were quick and didnt care to know more about what I needed. They were not ample about the informatiom or given options. They brushed me off. Although foot traffick was light and still plenty of time before closing time-5PM. One suggestion was proposed and directed me to the table with the suggested plant. Even though I stayed there for a while trying to fingure out the plants at the table, they kept passing me by and ignoring to further assist me along. When I went back to the cash register, to pay for my choiced plants, the papyrus plant was not there!!. The same person still at the register was clueless initially as to why the plant was not there and she said that ...it tipped over because of the wind, and the plant was put back. She also said that she thought I left. :-[ So, in conclusion I had much better experiences at other nurseries during the peak of the busy season and including weekend. Campbell nursery looked nice and the plants looked healthy. Still I will give this one a pass.

Tyler Bailey: Location is incredibly convenient and they have high quality plants. My only complaints are the plants are more focused for commercial gardening and therefor most of the stock is either perennials or evergreens with an emphasis on shrubs and trees. If you’re more of a home gardener or aren’t working on a landscaping project, this store may disappoint. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly too!

Thomas Wohl: While it is a commercial nursery for wholesalers they do have an amazing selection of landscaping plants and shrubs for individuals. Staff is friendly very knowledgeable

Richard Olson: For a contractor, there is no alternative. It is that way due to the superior service, pricing and supply offered. For such a big operation, they are also down to earth and friendly. We actually enjoy going there for pickups. The operation is not set up as a walk in retail operation. You should be educated and know what you need.

Their delivery service is also fantastic, they wanted to deliver SAME DAY for 7 yards of topsoil. And it was VERY reasonably priced. I’m kind of shocked they deliver so affordably, it really makes me want to get more stuff delivered to take advantage. I have stone and mulch coming in a separate delivery tomorrow after asking them to slow down, I can’t keep up with how quickly they can deliver.Fantastic job, we’re huge fans and can’t wait to send lots of business your way!

Linda G: We recently had Norwood Garden develop a landscape design for a small area around the pool. They call first to fit you with a designer, to see the best fit for you. LoAnne came to our home and gave us recommendations and was very helpful in helping us choose plants that would work well with the area we needed landscaped. We were short on time, we had a party in 2 weeks and our previous landscape person fell through, so we had to start looking immediately. LoAnne came out within 2 days and had our design the next day. They squeezed us in. The detail was unbelievable. The owners who just took over Norwood in November, were so accommodating and so knowledgeable! The crew that came and did the work were timely and professional and the plantings look great! The designer comes out on the day of installation and places the plants and either adds or removes things if we were ok with it. They come with extra plants or double some of the plants so we can pick what we like better. We actually added a few things. Our designer, was actually on vacation on the day of delivery, so the owner Anne came out and placed everything where it should be, we decided to add a few things on site, they went to lunch and came back with more things. Now for the person who schedules everything, he does more then schedules, Les also an owner. He came out the day before, scoped the property, making sure his guys knew what to do. He gave me his cell phone and I bombarded him with questions about the plantings, I do not have a green thumb at all. He answered every text. Our irrigation person put in a drip line, and I noticed some of our plants were not getting enough water, Our river rock is not installed yet, so I called Les and asked him to swing by and check the irrigation, which is not his, and he came out and directed us on what to tell our irrigation person on some of the plants. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I forgot to leave out , that after I received our plan from LoAnne, we went to Norwood and I wish I could remember his name, but a sweet gentleman walked us through and showed us every plant on the design. He spent 2 hours with us, and during that time Anne the owner came out to help. It has been a truly wonderful experience!
