Boris Zelmanovich: Progressive did an entire HVAC installation in my home. They replaced both AC units and Furnaces as well as all the control boards and thermostats. If there is one thing to know about an HVAC installation is that the installer is more important than the brand of the HVAC system. I can say that this is the reason I chose Progressive. The installation quote was from Costco thru Progressive. John Woodell is an outstanding project manager. He is a matter of fact type of guy that does what he says. He understood our needs and worked to provide us with the best value HVAC system for our house. He gladly worked several quotations for us. He was always available to answer questions and follow up on any commitments he made. John’s professionalism is why I chose Progressive.An HVAC system replacement for my size of house is complex. William Harp was the installation manager on this project, and he is outstanding. He is knowledgeable and ensured that the crew worked thru some installation complexities we encountered. William is a consummate professional and you want a guy like him to manage the installation. Again, the installer is as (if not more) important than the system itself. William and John are why I would recommend Progressive for HVAC installations.
Tom Wolcott: The company sent a technician four days ago to work up a proposal to replace our air conditioning condenser and evaporator, which must be matched to a wood-fired heating furnace. We have little basis for a review yet, because the technician spent a short time, took a few notes and pictures, and told us he'd confer with experts at the company. We do not have any proposal to evaluate yet.

Jill Anderson: I called Schwartz Plumbing after noticing water on the floor in bedroom, bathroom & laundry room as needed to know where the leak was coming from and get it fixed. James and Justin both came out and I showed them the 3 rooms, the extensive water damage in laundry room where the water heater is and after they said they called their boss, told me they couldn't help me. They never once attempted to look at the water heater on try to find the root cause of the leak. But they made sure I paid the $95.45 service fee. For what, since they didn't do anything (I guess they get paid for walking through the door). I found an amazing repair guy who is fixing my problem (water heater) and believe me, I would never recommend Schwartz Plumbing to anyone. They should refund my $95.45 because they didn't even try to find the problem.

Meg Ballard: I called Schwartz when I didn't have hot water in my home and I was unable to lite the pilot of my water heater. They came quick for an emergency call, which I appreciated.I'm giving two stars because I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Within seconds, the tech who came said I needed a new water heater. With the unit being 9 years old, I understood and was ready to replace it. However, I was quoted around $4,000 to have the work done, which seemed extremely high.I ended up going with another service that cost $1,700 in total including the new water heater and service.My main issue with Schwartz is that the reason my water was cold was because the main gas line was not operating, not that the unit failed. The tech went out to where the main gas line is, and instead of telling me that I simply needed to turn my gas on (my own first time homeowner mistake), he immediately gave me the large quote.With what I know now, I'd expect for the gas supply to be the first thing a tech checks when working with a water heater. So either he did know and wanted to charge me for a new unit anyway when I didn't need it, or he didn't know and didn't do his due diligence.
Jackie Mckinney: I had a new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal installed. Joe. Stokes was the installer for this project. He was very professional and neat by using shoe covers, using a drop cloth in the work area and pointing out where additional issues that would soon require attention. They installed a new garbage disposal and also discovered an electrical problem. Upon review the electrical problem was minor and Joe was able to fix it easily - saving me another service call from an electrician. I've used Schwartz Plumbing for many years and have always had good, reliable service. Joe and Justin were professional, courteous and explained everything they needed to do. Lair Block: Horrible company. There was a job I needed done that would take no more than 45 minutes and $50 of parts. The guy came to look and then said he would write up the charge. Then he come back inside from his truck and says it will cost $850!!!!! I ended up doing it myself for the $50 of parts and the 45 minutes. So they wanted $1200/hour. Patti H: We had restoration that needed to be done. They installed a temporary sink in our kitchen by the request of our restoration company. I received an invoice for over $200 and I made payment on it not aware that they also invoiced the restoration company for the same amount and they also paid. Fast forward a few months and I get another invoice for almost $300 for subsequent work on this temporary sink to which they also invoiced the restoration company. I am due a refund yet their response to me is “no ma’am no ma’am no ma’am you absolutely will not get a refund” Proof of payment on both of our parts have been sent to Swartz and they will not respond to me to give me my refund. I would not use them I would not recommend them I think they’re extremely Rude and unprofessional.

Pedro replaced two toilets and ran a camera to check for any line problems. He actually arrived early, explained every aspect of what he was doing, educated me about best practices for care of my plumbing without making me feel inferior. Pedro was great!! Alexander Biermann: I had a very easy initial phone call to set up a plumbing appointment for repairs I needed in my home.Earl came to my house on time and provided a call 15min ahead of arrival. He came by to look at a few plumbing repairs and was very friendly and honest. He removed a kitchen faucet for me where I had a tough time doing the job myself and then installed the new faucet I had purchased from Lowe's. He also looked at two toilets of mine that were leaking and provided his assistance at a complimentary fee. In addition, he left me with a new fill valve and stopper for my use so that I can make the replacement myself to help save me some extra $. I appreciated that he was willing to teach a new homeowner how to diagnose problems and make the repairs to avoid having to call a plumber next time. Richard Rich: Had Schwartz plumbing install an under counter reverse osmosis system that included an on-demand hot water spout combo spout. The plumber had installed previous RO systems but never this brand. He figured it out, left no mess, the system worked flawlessly. 1 year later the system is still working well. Would highly recommend Schwartz plumbing.

In the past two months, I had a leaking outdoor faucet repaired, a leaking toilet repaired and ultimately replaced and a leaking bathroom faucet fixed at the cost of more than $1000. I always thought Schwartz was overpriced but this last visit took the cake. Earl spent no more than ten minutes on the leaking bathroom faucet and I was charged $212+ which I find shameful. I understand people need to make a living but I, for one, and sick and tired of being taken advantage of. Someone came out during the initial call and made some observations, opened up my ceiling with the water damage, provided a few tips; however, nothing was resolved when he left. D W: Basically for a cleaning and inspection service, all they use is water and a towel to clean it. If you want them to really clean it, that’s the $350 package. The inspection part is to sell their package, expensive coolant, UV lights and/or another unit. My unit is working fine, so I feel fortunate.

I used this company because a friend recommended them after her excellent experience with a house re-pipe.This company is top notch. From my first call to schedule an estimate, onsite consultation with Bob Dunn, emails to Bob and Megan with questions, scheduling with Megan, and team of plumbers and electricians who worked here, the process was extremely efficient and seamless. The service provided by everyone was extraordinary.I especially appreciated how respectful and friendly everyone was. Everyone took time to answer our questions, some of which did not relate directly to the plumbing work being done. They also explained options on the water heater and gave us some tips. For example, the person in charge of the installation process was Tim. He suggested that I take pictures of the new plumbing before it was dry-walled in order to have a record of the location of the pipes. He also spoke very highly of Ck's and of the way his bosses treated him and his company employees. Firms that are competent, efficient, and who respect both their employees and customers are hard to find, but this description fits this firm.
