Calvin Zissel: Car 978 cut us off (above the speed limit) when they were turning left on red and almost caused an accident at approximately 12:10am on 9/28. A horrendous way to enforce speed laws by causing more accidents; 911 was of no help and the receiver provided no follow up on the complaint. There were no sirens on when they almost hit our car.
Andre R: Based off the rating of this place I don't have to say much it speaks for itself great group of guys and I mean that in the most sarcastic way possible.

Gary King: We have been financially ruined by this department's incompetence. Easter Sunday our vehicle was side swiped by a young unlicensed driver who was going well over the speed limit and ran a red light. The police failed to reflect this in their report, along with half a dozen other reasons why that vehicle should have never been on the road to begin with. Now the insurance companies are putting us at just as much fault due to this department's total lack of ability.
Kenny Love: I was in town visiting family on Six Forks rd and was ask to pickup a to go order at LaRanchita restaurant. I arrived at the restaurant to see a suspicious car with 30 day tags maneuvering in the parking lot. The car backed in beside a van, passenger got out, opened back door of the van removed materials, loaded in the car and promptly exited the parking lot. When leaving the restaurant the car returned and repeated the moves. I tried calling the RPD 4x and the local Northern Branch, and I was placed on hold and my call was never answered. Therefore a business is missing their tools and equipment and the thieves get away again.
Janea Williams: Officer Busich (sorry for my spelling) downtown district officer was an amazing help after a day of dealing with no responses, when it came to the12 car pile up i was in this morning. He took time out of his day to search through the system and find the officer who was responsible for my case to make sure he got in touch with me. I really appreciate his help, he definitely made my day significantly better!
Rafiki Bell: Shout out to Ofc. Reed forgive me if I'm misspelling. I locked myself out of my semi truck at the Costco tonight and with a bit of elbow grease, patience, and creativity he got me back into my truck within like 30 minutes. Amazing job well done thanks a lot !!

083891461: 2 o’clock in the morning a off-duty drunk police officer is banging on my door trying to kick it open yelling for someone in my apartment who doesn’t live there I yelled to him get out of here I was terrified thinking this madman would shoot me. When he left I open the door and found two 9mm clips And a leather clip holder. In front of my door I call the police told him I wanted to make a report they purposely and willfully wrote up a bogus report. It turns out it was an off-duty cop and the police were covering up for one of their own. I went twice to report it and they blew me off. The captain basic threaten me with arrest if I didn’t drop the matter. Captain took possession of the two clips and the leather holster. It’s far as I’m concerned this is the most corrupt police department in North Carolina. Rest of sure there will be a full investigation Into this matter I will leave no stone on turned until this off-duty cop is arrested along with the other police officers and the captain for covering This crime up. No wonder why people hate cops!
Rachel Stebing: Wife tripped and was bleeding on the sidewalk walking around downtown. Two police officers stopped, shrugged and offered to call 911, a thing we could also have done ourselves. Useless!

Kayla Ashley: I was involved in a hit and run and called Raleigh PD. It took them an hour and half for someone to show up because apparently it was a busy night. While I was looking for my registration, there were sirens going off and the officer said, "I should be on that call but I am being nice." Now I see why no one wanted to show up. It's midnight and I should've been in bed with my toddler instead some guy decided to hit me and take off. Totally unprofessional and made my night worse.

nashmaninc: When I looked up the phone number for Raleigh PD to report an abandoned vehicle I thought it was odd that the reviews on the Raleigh police were so low. I now know why those reviews are so low. After talking with dispatch about the abandoned car with very expired plates she proceeded to ask for my name I had given her the address on where the car was, I explained I didn't want any involvement and with a stern attitude she yelled I was already involved. I responded never mind and hung up. So much for being a concerned citizen.
RAJ BHANDER: Last night around 12:25am, our security alarm went off and security company dispatched it to our police station. The officer came half an hour late. I asked the officer and he told me that the alarm went off in another house too and he had to go there first. It was surprising for us because he police did not take it as an emergency !I was waiting for half an hour and decided to check my house myself to ensure that we are safe. We were lucky because alarm went off due to technical issues and we did not have any real threat. I was thinking if we could have real threat, how we could handle because local police station did not have enough officers to secure us.

Andrea: I called in a noise complaint today 10/3/2019 @ 8:20 PM. The officer who took the report assured me an officer would come stating it is illegal for a report to be made and not send the police. It is currently 10:48pm the same day... no police yet and the noise is even louder! What's the point of having a local police department that doesnt care enough to follow up on reports!
David Fraser: Called them to file a noise complaint. Said they would have a police officer at my residence shortly and gave them my phone number. Police never came once throughout the night. I know this wasn’t an emergency but I find it hard to believe they couldn’t atleast send some rookie cop for a noise complaint. Police never called me as to why they never came. Neighbors were still very loud throughout the night. And by the way I did try asking my neighbors myself if they could keep it down and they said no. Very disappointed in my local police.

They were called to my neighbors house for mental health concerns and they came ready, willing, and eager to start shooting up a non-violent situation. I would trust a randomly selected NC resident with a concealed carry permit over their best officer any day. At least citizens can be held accountable for their actions.
