Office of Professional Development Technology Training Solutions: what do users think?
Martin Brossman: I am excited to be teaching here it is a wonderful location. We have offered a number of classes now including Social Media Management and WordPress. People just love to come here, the staff is excellent led by the director, Holly Sullenger and the I look forward to teaching many more classes here in the future. Being part of a team committed to providing the best quality training in NC is a real joy and inspires me to find new ways to offer better and better training.
Mark Cone: I wish I could review this place twice. The social media management class is simply incredible. I would pay twice what I paid for the instruction Karen and Martin give. They really put a lot into that program and I highly, highly recommend it I give them 5 stars.Very unimpressed with the web design certification course. Was told my classes would have no problem making, signed up and paid for entire track only to have last half of course canceled mid-track. Was told to try again for summer classes, but that is past when I needed the certificate, so that won't work. The classes I got were good, but I am now unable to finish the certificate on tie so they are now useless and I wasted $1000 and got nothing in return, and no offer of any type of refund for classes I have now wasted time, and time off from work to take. If you need multiple classes and can only do night hours, I would not recommend this at all. You have a better shot in daytime hours.
Greg Hyer: The opportunities to continue your education as a professional adult learner are amazing here. Technology is such a significant part of our lives. So much so that without it, we have a very difficult time doing our jobs. Course here are designed and taught by experts in their industry, driven by the compassion they have to help eager professionals gain the knowledge they need to remain competitive in today's workforce. You will learn and you will become more competitive.
Social Media Management Training: We are proud to have our classes here and gained great value out of our partnership with NC State TTS. A real winning team to work with.
Christy Rain: I took several classes (Excel, etc) with Holly Basso in the past and loved her teaching style. I was pleased to discover she is now the Director and it is not surprising that she has found equally wonderful new instructors. I'm in my second set of classes with Martin Brossman and Karen Tiede (Social Media) at TTS and have been learning tons at a reasonable but challenging pace. I highly recommend TTS, Martin Brossman and Karen Tiede!
Randy Earl: NCSU TTS has it all: a well-organized and run program, offering a comprehensive offering of courses by experts in their fields, housed in well-equipped and comfortable training labs, resulting in career-enhancing skills and recognized certifications for students. I thoroughly enjoyed the Social Media Management Certification Program course I took and learned a great deal, which I am now putting to use and from which I'm already seeing benefit. I'm also teaching classes at TTS and enjoying the opportunity to teach in such a supportive environment.
Colleen Gray: This is a fabulous educational facility. I was there for WordPress Series taught by Martin Brossman. I learned a ton and enjoyed their high tech computer labs. Along with that, they have a coffee shop/dining facility that is located right in the building. It has a very clean style to it and it is most enjoyable to take classes there. It's a fantastic place to learn!
Andrew Hill: This was the second time assisting here with Martin Brossman's WordPress class. I just loved the facility and the high quality commitment to customer service! It's clearly a joy to train in a place that sets such a high standard of excellence. Looking forward to coming back.

MyComputerCareer: what do users think?
Eric Bourne: Terrible experiences. No relevant jobs in Tri-state area. Sold me a dream I couldn't afford.
Oliver Gant: Cold calling recruiters to submit inexperienced students for high-paying IT jobs. You need a better strategy
The Jones Library: pricey but get not much..I do not recommend.
Marianne Santangelo: A positive supportive place!!
Frankiny: I am glad I didn’t sign for this. I recommended a friend who finished the class 3 months ago, and MyCC is unable to find him an internship, Recently they find him an IT job at Lowe’s and he left his previous job , and at his big surprise the contract for that job just end (1 month contract).Unbelievable.MyCC claims they will get you a job once you finish the class. If you want to start a career in IT better not go to this
Jeff Morrison: Good, kind staff. Cool opportunity offered to train for an IT career.
Matthew Felton: *This is for the online learning experienceI've attended this school for 2 years now (I've been attending this long due to using my GI bill). To start off, the lessons feel too fast. They cram years of knowledge into a few months. I felt like I would like this because I'm a quick learner, and I love Information Technology, but the teaching methods they use and their attitudes toward their students are inexcusable (very rude). I could post the tuition right now, and show you it's incredibly overpriced. An example would be that all students pay $700 for a laptop to use for school (included in their tuition). I was pretty excited to see what kind of computer they send. I figured they bought a good PC in bulk and got it for cheaper, but I was wrong. They sent the lowest spec Lenova Thinkpad e585 (Ryzen 3 2200u edition) you could get (worth about $300 retail when it was out 4 years ago, and is now discontinued). I tried to speak to them about all of my issues (including the overpriced laptop), but they must have the same laptop as I do because it takes days to get an email back from them. I gave 2 stars because it's not all bad. If you teach yourself and do your school work, than they pay for 2 attempts (sometimes 3) to get your certifications. If I were you, though, I'd buy the Mike Meyers CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ books and watch his lessons on Udemy. He'll teach you everything you need to know, and about $25,000 cheaper too. Teach yourself, get yourself a laptop worth your money, and earn your certifications. Don't waste your money going here.
The Art of Being Female: The program they offer is above board, every tool one needs to succeed is built into the program. Above and beyond any I have seen and I have worked with hundreds of schools across the country. If you use the tools offered to you in this program you will succeed in tech, one of the only secure industries left post covid!
Rylie Harris: Don't waste your time and money.
Rob Lee: As a student MyCC gave me the tools and confidence to reach my career goals. I was even given the opportunity to teach as an Instructor Mentor for over a year. That gave me an additional set of skills and now I have discovered my new passion in IT Training. The staff and instructors are amazing. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and invaluable connections. Keep changing lives!
Derek Baker: I had my last class in December 2020. I got my first real IT job as a help desk tech and had that for 3 months before I got a call for a job opportunity as a Lab Engineer at Cisco. Best job I have ever had and it is thanks to the MyCC career services department. Do not get me wrong it was not easy by any means. You will not be able to just show up for class and do your homework and expect to get all the certifications. You will have to study in addition every day and focus on the materials you don’t understand (on top of class, homework, a job and a newborn baby I managed to study an average of 3 hours a day). The teachers will tell you “you get out what you put in” and that is absolutely true. Don’t go into this halfway. You will have to commit to it fully but the benefits for me so far after a year of graduation are a better life for me and my family. Don’t listen to the bad reviews (at first I was concerned that I had made a big mistake because these reviews psyched me out) but don’t think it will be easy. Thank you MyCC.
Josh Mattingly: Absolutely wonderful experience thus far. From getting aid and grants to deciding which courses to take. To the classroom and faculty. 100% better than I ever would've guessed and I'm so very glad I took the plunge. I am now only months away from obtaining my degree in cyber security and getting a huge promotion at my company. Highly recommended to anyone pursuing a career in IT. P.S. Mike, Alec and Erin are the best!
Bradley Stevenson: What can I say except the instructor lives in his moms basement and seems to think lecturing people about being motivated is going to work. This is especially frustrating when you learn they don't allow you to work at your won pace and can only complete assignments and course material during course hours. Waste of time and money as they spend more time lecturing about having motivation and getting the material done that doing any actual instructing/teaching.Death by Power point seems to be the teaching model and it is not effective!!!!
Chris Hauser: Its a little challenging at first, but once you get over the initial reaction of...oh my god, there is so much information my brain is gonna explode, things start to settle in and you begin to understand everything because of the way the program is set up. Lots of repetition! Its the quickest way to go from your past career into another one for IT!
Big Foot: Critical:CommunicationI have heard there ad a million times. And yet I never have been compelled to call in. I find it very annoying that they infiltrate the air ways and interrupt my listening pleaser
Thomas Kwong: Before enrolling at MyCC i was lost. I did not know what to do. I was desperate on trying to find a way out of a dead end job. After enrolling I was afraid. Afraid that I was being mislead. 2 months later, I not only pass my first course, but also got my 1st cert. In terms of communication they are good. They do really look out for you if you are willing to ask for help. They actually contact you. Something that the old college I went to didn't do and ghost me until things were too late. In terms of the work, you HAVE to put in the work and be patient. This course in terms of getting the certs are NOT easy.
Jeremiah Negron: Positive:Professionalism
Riley Ann: Love the instructors, love the support, but the course load is too much too fast unless you already have a background in IT. I have 6 hours worth of homework videos to watch and take notes on tonight. I can't imagine doing these courses while also working a full time job.
Tu22: Is this College accredited as an undergraduate academic institution to receive a degree? My husband was looking into this school almost 3yrs ago. Thank GOD he did not enroll!! He went to an individual in the church who taught him what he needed to know for IT Business Analysis in less than 2 months with just $1000 and has been working as an IT BA/Project Manager ever since. Most of the reviews for this school are great reviews, HOWEVER they will charge people almost $24K to get in and take these IT courses for a few months, suggest you to take all these unnecessary 10 IT certifications that YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE. I currently work in Cyber and I took just 2 Training Courses/Certs, paid less than $2500, made several payment installments and arrangements to the individual (Professor/Mentor), received 1 on 1 Mentoring, Resume Writing & Review, Salary Negotiations, provided students with Interview Questions & Answers to all students, Small Group Size, IT lab simulation, Mock Interviews, possible practice exam questions, advice on TRANSFERABLE SOFT SKILLS & LEVERAGING YOUR RESUME to a new profession; and I was offered a six figure hourly rate job before 8 weeks WITHOUT a certification exam. The GOAL is to get into the Computer Software/ Tech Industry and GET your company/organization to PAY for future certifications via their training reimbursement programs. With Transferable Soft Skills & Leveraging acquired skills during your IT training and mentoring; you DO NOT need to start in Entry Level IT. I am still connected to the instructor as she is a college professor and still offers mentorships to all students and even 1 on 1 and contact via WhatsApp or Telegram. It is best to just get 1 or 2 cert to get your foot in FIRST, rather than accruing Student Loans and getting into DEBT in this pandemic economy when you can most definitely get educational assistance via your job and/pay out of pocket. Most companies only require 1 certifications 2 at most. Some jobs don’t even require a certification. So why go to a MyComputerCollege just to gather numerous certifications like a 🏅 medallion when you won’t need all but just 1 for the tech job? I have seen people who passed a cyber certifications and STILL cannot find jobs. Multiple certifications DOES NOT guarantee you a job.
John Mates Jr: Back in March 2020 I quit my job to start school at MyCC. And in April 2020, I began my journey to successfully obtain my Certs in the IT field and begin my career. I graduated in November 2020 with a 98.4 GPA and I attribute it to the mentors and instructors that the school has. Of course it took a lot of work and effort on MY part but with the help of these mentors and instructors I was able to successfully obtain many of my certifications and continue to do so on my own today. The school is highly recommended for those that want to get into the IT field.
David Wieland: I have been a student since Aug 24,2021 and I have enjoyed my time so far. I really enjoy the Flex room after class, cause 8 can interact with other mentors and instructors like Gerard, Ash, Mike and the students. They help out with just about anything from the class, to personal as well as the actual IT field. I can't say enough about the help and interaction I get from these people. Thank you so much.

CPR Educators: what do users think?
Liv: Chris really made this class not miserable and I appreciate that so much. He was funny but also drilled into the things we needed to know. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for BLS!!!
Kate Johnson: Fantastic CPR/AED training. We do our training annually instead of every two years so we can stay up to date with any changes and we look forward to Chris coming to our office to do onsite training every year! Thank you for always going above and beyond to ensure we have the best quality training!
Lillie Harris: Thank you so much Chris for instructing amazing cpr class. I will recommend anyone to come here. Dedication loves what he do.
Jeanne Zalewski: Chris was Awesome and kept class interesting! Very thorough!
Kim Cooper: Best CPR class ever. I have to recertify every two years. Chris does a fantastic job making dry material fun and interesting!
Ashley Griffin: Highly recommend CPR Educators for your certification needs!! Chris was our BLS instructor. He made our cpr renewal class very educational and entertaining. Everyone remained attentive and engaged throughout the whole class. Chris is top notch and was the best instructor I've ever had, in almost 20 years of being CPR certified!
Nancy Semcho: Our office has been using CPR Educators for the past several years for our CPR course training. The material is presented, explained and demonstrated in detail. The instructor Chris Mills makes the class fun by adding his humor and stories. By the end of the class the staff is confident in the knowledge learned. We will definitely be using CPR Educators in the future.
Shrabanti Barua: Chris is a good instructor. He kept us engaged the entire time and quizzed us multiple times. His jokes and sense of humor made it a fun experience !
Abbey O'Briant: Awesome place! Chris was funny and made the class entertaining; not boring at all. He had our CPR certification cards ready for us by the end of class which I appreciated. The office it is located in is nice and clean. Highly recommend!!
Evan Seltzer: Had an awesome experience, Chris was an amazing instructor and got through the materiel super effectively and was super funny. Highly recommend it!
Ursula N.: Chris is the bomb.com. He is hilarious and made the class SUPER FUN! It was absolutely THE BEST CPR class I have EVER taken in the healthcare field.
Amy Taylor: Chris was great! Very knowledgeable and made the class fun and interesting!
Mary M: This was the best and most enjoyable CPR BLS class I have taken in my 27 year career. It was informative, organized and well paced. The instructor, Chris Mills, was outstanding and fun. I highly recommend CPR Educators.
Dama Conti: It was time for the majority of our staff to renew our CPR and I decided it was best for us all to do it together. I looked online for an organization who was willing to come to our office. My staff moaned and groaned about the training at first but our instructor was awesome! He was humorous and witty really making the training go by quickly and the staff could not stop singing his praises! The demonstrations were great. I would use them again for our training needs and highly recommend them. They invoiced us and quickly provided us with the ECards for our records! Great experience!
Malinda Dilday: The class was informative and as hands on as we could get with social distancing in place. I felt confident leaving the class that I could perform CPR and first aid on the 3 children I take care of if I ever have to.
Nelle Dunlap: Had a truly wonderful experience at the CPR / Pediatric First Aid class taught by Chris. The offices were comfortable and easy to find, the resources were great -- A/v worked flawlessly, and plenty of test dummies to go around -- and Chris was a truly phenomenal facilitator. He was funny and smart and throughout and made the material really accessible.
Dominic Ayensu Mensah: Before I registered with CPR Educators, I was pretty much convinced by what a lot of people were saying about CHRIS in their reviews. And luckily for me he was my instructor. Chris is the man for the job. He made the class so simple that we didn't want to leave when everything was over. I wish he was my maths professor in school.
Christopher Kearns: Our instructor, Chris Mills, did an excellent job of giving a First Aid, CPR, & AED class to 16 of our employees at our facility. His humor and repetition kept things fun and educational. I highly recommend CPR Educators!
Cryscee Ann: Chris is a great instructor , I glad took this course it make me feel more prepared working with children and taking care of my own. Thank You
Hayley Faircloth: Chris is as excellent in teaching CPR. The best class for CPR I have taken. I hope to have him again when I have to redo it.
Charity Odom: The instructor was very helpful, he kept the class engaged! He provided excellent information. Not like most boring cpr classes taught in high school.
