Midtown Grille: what do users think?
Jacques Arse: Service was lacking - wine *left* at our table wasn't opened or poured. Food was decent but overpriced.
Britaney Baldwin: Came in here with family visiting from out of town… there were about 10 adults in total. We arrived early and got sat at the table.. as we waited for our other family to arrive our older male waiter was very rude and let us know that our window for waiting for guest was closing and he was going to take the tables away. We informed him they would be there shortly. Within the next 5 minutes he had to of mentioned it another 2-4 times. Everyone but one of us arrived and he still took the other late persons chair away from the table. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Instant grits tastes better than what they served. I’d rather eat at Waffle House. I can definitely understand why they are being shut down! Aside from that the service was terrible and our waiter still got 20% gratuity automatically. Terrible.
BB: I've been to this restaurant twice and went through two different experiences, one was great and one not so good. I came back here with a group of friends, a few weeks ago on a Sunday for brunch. First as I was walking towards the restaurant door while holding a cake in a big box. A male server was holding the door open for other people, while he was going outside to check on the tables. He let the door go to shut, as I was four steps away from the door in front of him and made eye contact with him. I was disappointed in the service. The customer service was okay. Our server was very busy and was trying her best to provide service to the tables she was covering inside and outside. Some of our drinks order were forgotten to be taken before the meal. Lemons were sent to us on a napkin instead of a plate, lemon juice going through the napkin onto the table. All of the food during brunch, did not have any flavor, there were no seasonings, tasted bland. A few years ago a good friend of mine had her birthday dinner here during the fall season. She had the party room reserved for her birthday event. It was lovely, the room space for the set was nice, the staff was polite and the food was wonderful. If I decide to go back I hope the third is the charm and the food and service will be better.
Dusty Boyd: Shrimp & Grits to die for.
Natalia Giancola: My husband and I had date night at Midtown Grille last night. The hostess was friendly, the restaurant is nice and welcoming. I ordered a margarita to start the evening. The margarita was sooooo sour, I really could not drink it. I asked our waiter, who was very nice, if they could squeeze and orange or a splash of Cointreau in it. The gentleman bartender (think he was the bar manager) was super friendly and came right over concerned and wanted to get drink right. He brought another drink over and it was still terrible. But I appreciated the attention and kindness. We started with the max and cheese, which was good but lacked flavor-very bland. I ordered filet mignon, (menu does not specify the oz) it appeared to be a half of a butterflied filet when I got it. It was about a quarter inch high. It was charred and served with potato wedges and sweet potato purée. Really disappointed. The food is not worth the price. I feel like it is overpriced for what you’re getting. Staff is very nice.
Julie Moreland: Vegetarian options: The menu notes vegetarian options. Parking: Plenty of spots in a shared Midtown parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps and handicap parking spots available nearby. Dietary restrictions: The menu notes gluten free options.
Patricia Wimberly: Was looking forward to a nice dinner and was very disappointed. Ordered the ribeye. It came on top of sweet potato mash, potato fingerlings and green beans. The sweet potato mash was not necessary. Did not add anything to the dish and made the plate look like a mess. The steak was tough and had no flavor. The lemon blueberry dessert was stale and did not look appealing at all. Will not be returning.
Timothy Ferguson: Outstanding salmon dish.
L S: I was excited to come in for lunch to celebrate a new promotion. I looked them up online the night before and figured it would be a fantastic visit. Arrived and had to wait a bit at the counter to be acknowledged, finally a server helped me get seated and NA drinks. She ended up being our server too. She was nice and pleasant. The restaurant and location are both pluses. However, the food was super disappointing. I ordered the crab cake with truffle fries. The fries were actually really good. However, the crab cake, was all breaded and accompanied by small bits of shells and lacked signature flavor. When I ordered dessert, I felt it was a box dessert and not homemade, which was disappointing. I ordered the Flourless Torte, which was a small slice and super hard for it to be a Torte. It wasn't soft and lacked flavor too. The bill was just a bit pricey for the quality of what we had today. If I am in the area, I would consider stopping by again to see if today was just what I ordered. I do want to say service was good and the restaurant was nice.
spooky blonde: Absolutely amazing, everything about this place was great. The hostess was very helpful and positive, our server was very friendly and had such a great knowledge of the menu. We asked her what some good things were to get and I’m very glad we took her recommendations. Will absolutely be back again! Visited 7/26 sat in the section of booths on the left side! I wish I remembered our servers name, she was amazing!
T: Enjoyed brunch here for the first time today. It was wonderful. Our server was terrific, the bloody Mary’s were on point, and we will be back again.
Zawandi H: Food was great and service on point.
Melonie Griffin: Had a great time here. Staff was super attentive and helpful. Food was delicious, and as described!
John Yager: Great place to stop on a hot afternoon for a beer. The porter is tasty and the bartender great!
C A: Great location, beautiful comfortable seating, delicious choices and friendly staff. I look forward to the next time!
Martay Smith: Food was top-notch and our service was absolutely excellent! Would definitely recommend.
Alpha: The food, yes, it is decent. however, for the price they charged, at least provide some bread.
Scot Jones: An unassuming location in North Hills, very easy to walk right by. We tried on a whim when exploring options on a stormy evening. We found the inside restaurant a bit boisterous for what we like (there was a very loud group there), so sat outside, sidewalk café style. Our server was very friendly, very attentive. She was supported by several others (the hostess who seated us, and another manager (?)) both whom elevated the service experience nicely. The bar drinks were fabulous (the tequila old-fashioned is a must-try).For food we ordered the hummus (average, grainy almost, definitely will not order again) as an appetizer, and then some time later received our entrees: the salmon , which was well cooked, a good portion. She was particularly happy with the delicious vegetables. I ordered the ribeye which was a solid portion, grilled medium-rare to perfection. While I have had much better steaks (this one seemed unseasoned and greasy), the stars of this show were the sweet potato puree (goodness, oh goodness!) and green beans with potatoes. They were absolutely delicious.All-in-all, a good evening out. We recommend!
Anthony Ricotta: Amazing brunch experience - the drinks and food were both outstanding. The service was also excellent. 👍👍
Linda Williams: My first visit. Fried oyster appetizer was perfect, and the burger was one of the best in town. Worth a visit.Features: Safety measures in place, social distancing, indoor and outside dining options.
April Sherman: I happen to visit on the day where the special was salmon patties! It's hard to find restaurants that Make those. Unfortunately this is not a regular item on their menu.Features: I don't think they did a good job with the social distancing and nearly no one had on masks. They tried to seat us right next to another party, but I requested that we moved down a little bit. The servers did not have on masks.

Deborah Credle: On June 29, 2023, my family and I dined at the Capital Grille on Six Forks RD in Raleigh North Carolina. Chef Matt set the bar pretty high for any future dine-ins. I have never found anyone to make my food to my expectations. I am on a strict diet which consists of no meat, starch, dairy or sugar. Chef Matt nailed it with perfection. The best i EVER had. To top it off I had a Last Holiday experience. Which starred Queen Latifa. Chef Matt came out to greet me. He wanted to make sure my food was to my liking. Little did he know, he had superseded my expectations .I recommend the pan seared sea bass with shiitake mushrooms and asparagus.Thank you Chef Matt. You rock!
Samantha: We went to dinner last night for a “make up birthday dinner” since the other restaurant we tried for my birthday was awful. We had Maxx as our server and told him about what happened at the other restaurant and I swear he went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Maxx was the best server I think I literally have ever had anywhere! He was so personal and made sure our steaks were perfect. He Was amazing at recommending things to go along with our meals! The food was PERFECT! The desserts AMAZING! Seriously recommend capital grille and if you go request Maxx as your server :)
Amara Kattrein: We came here to celebrate our one year anniversary and could not have been happier. The food, the drinks, and the service were all awesome. M E: The service there is amazing; probably the best I’ve received in a restaurant but the food not much. Steaks aren’t cooked as desired by the customer. If restaurants like these are going to sell high priced steaks, they should definitely cook the steaks like the customers want it cooked. The sides are very delicious though. Overall, would I go back? Chances are pretty low.

Chelsea Hoag: I have loved this restaurant for many years and have always bragged about how good the food is to friends. Tonight I cannot express the same sentiments. My husband and I each ordered wine, a cheese board, and tagliatelle bolognese. The wine and cheese were on par, but the tagliatelle bolognese was disappointing. This is my go to dish and it was not made correctly. The noodles were sticking together and the gravy was much more creamy than usual. It is usually more meaty and red, but tonight it was a lighter red/pink. I chalked that up to the chef on staff tonight, but my opinion shifted when we received our dessert. We ordered a traditional slice of cheesecake, which was $11! When it was brought out to our table, it was blindingly obvious it was store bought and not homemade. It tasted just like Target's Favorite Day brand cheesecake and was tiny! For the price we were charged, this was very disappointing. My husband and I also both noted that the restaurant was very empty compared to when we have visited in the past and I think for a Saturday night, that speaks to the change in quality of their food. We love Italian and both noted that we would be going to Cafe Luna next time. I hope changes are made because I used to really love this restaurant.

Falan E: I dropped in one evening while in the area. No real plans to come here, just famished. The service here is great. My waiter was Nate. Nate did a great job checking in often and keeping me hydrated anytime my glass of water was low. The restaurant is clean. Very comfortable seating here. The food was okay. I feel the best thing was the garlic knots and fettucini alfredo. My all-time favorite and go-to Italian - American style entree order is the chicken parmesan & fettuccini alfredo. I love the white and red sauce together. I guess this wasn't understood and the chicken parm wasn't marinated properly. I had to do the work of getting the red sauce over my chicken by asking for extra gravy. The chicken parmesan was flavored well.Overall: The calamari appetizer had a great flavor but the batter was not coated well and it fell off. I do feel calamari and the chicken was perhaps cooked too fast. I felt the inside of the chicken texture was weird for me which came from cooking too fast. The same for the risotto ball appetizer- - cooked too fast! These were Fried Arborio rice stuffed with fontina served over gravy (tomato sauce). The flavor was everything and I enjoyed that part but everything seemed to be cooked too fast. The rice stuffed in the balls wasn't piping hot like the external.Gravy didn't win my heart this time.I guess I may need to try one of the more popular dishes. I felt it was hard to mess up Chicken Parm, but for me, it fell short here.

Zachary Dennett: Even medium quality Middle Eastern food is delightful. The mezzes hit the mark. We very much enjoyed. The chicken and lamb in my mixed grill was a bit dry and flavorless. The service was slow but perfectly friendly.
Jeff Langenderfer: We chose this restaurant for our 29th anniversary dinner and were really looking forward to some exciting and interesting Lebanese cuisine. The service was quite relaxed throughout, and though the restaurant wasn't crowded, it was pretty busy for a Sunday evening. Drinks and appetizers took nearly a half hour to arrive, but we were rewarded with beef bacon wrapped dates that were a promising beginning, with rich bacon flavor complimented by the pomegranate drizzle and goat cheese stuffing. Very nice. That turned out to be the peak of the food experience. The Lebanese curry with lamb arrived some 40 minutes later lukewarm and remarkably bland. I can't recall a less flavorful curry, understated and under-seasoned. The mixed grilled kabobs were similarly uninspiring, with beef bits served medium well and correspondingly dry, kaftan pieces apparently salt-free, alongside moist and flavorful chicken chunks. The accompanying rice was nicely flavored, but 1 out of 3 tasty meats and good rice does not make anyone say wow. The garlic whip side added some good flavor, but not enough to compensate for the bland meat. Overall, this was pretty much the most underwhelming $100 dinner for two I've ever had. Nothing was bad, but I expected to be impressed and I definitely wasn't. Meh

Robin Mehera: It was a warm Saturday afternoon. We were in the mood for a healthy lunch in downtown. So came to this staple spot in downtown.Upon entry they have a host stand and were sat right away. The place is huge with plenty of seating, a small bar and a downstairs which is great for private events. They provide a ton of bread and some olive oil, however it needs some vinegar so a bit bland.Their salads and rice dishes are good, but their wraps are not the best. They provide a ton of thick bread and little protein.Because of the bland flavor and excessive amount of bread, I give this place a 3-3.5.
Allan Voichuk: Great Mediterranean food. The vegan options are really good too. The pita bread was some of the best I've had.Vegetarian options: Lots of great vegan and vegetarian food choices.Dietary restrictions: Good for vegans and vegetarians.

Jorge-Enrique Carvajal: We were at the restaurant 4 of us on June 24 at 4:00 pm. finished at 5:50 pm. We where siting at the kitchen window next to the grill and I can see our food getting cold and old at the expediter window. When the server brought the food to the table it was cold. The desert Astha was with no presentation and no flavor at all. Ruth's Chris Steak House: what do users think?
com dev: The place itself and the service are good but they have very inconvenient, unnecessary, and not open minded dress code for hats. Way to make customers feel unwelcome.Response: We'd love to come back, but not as long as the dress code is enforced.
Bretton Little: Service here is phenomenal because they treat you with so much respect. The filet is juicy, tender, and is probably the best steak in the country. The creamed spinach and Caesar salad are delicious as well. First class restaurant and has New Orleans roots with the founder!
Leigh Thrives: Ashley deserves 5 stars. She was attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. I met the manager who is a true asset to the restaurant.Food was mediocre and not worth my 70 mile drive. (Although the salad and avocado dressing was good, overall my entire meal was not up to par and only worth 3 stars in my book. The bread wasn’t hot nor presentable. It was sparsely placed in the basket. I complained and they brought a different basket of bread (see pic). The bread was not worth me cheating on my gluten - free diet. The salmon was cooked well and it was just ok. The crab cake was average. The creamed spinach was watery and not creamy. The lobster on the lobster Mac was severely over cooked (see pic) and not worth $35.00. I ate the food because I was famished. The valet gentleman was lovely, I tipped him well even though I parked on the street and didn’t need to valet. I will not return. I was totally unaware that Charlotte has “The Palm”, which I prefer. I had many dinners at the original “Palm” in NYC on 2nd Avenue. The restaurant closed last year, although two locations remain open in NYC. They consistently delivered amazing meals. Ruth Chris is franchised and inconsistent.
Vincent Rubbe: Great food and service from our server Tre
Chris Strube: Will not be back. Exceptionally overpriced.Save your money.
Katie Andrews: My husband and I came here last year (at the time of originally posting) to celebrate being newly married. Our server was wonderful - she was patient with us as we took our time deciding what we wanted and she made sure we had a delightful experience. Most of the food was incredibly delicious. However I got horrible food poisoning from my creamed spinach. I know that was where I got the food poisoning because my husband and I had eaten exactly the same things at every meal with the exception of that one side item at this meal. When I called the restaurant the first time to report the food poisoning, the manager I spoke to was uncaring and kept saying nobody else had gotten sick. So I sent in an email about my experience and concerns. A different manager called me back. He was much more considerate than the other manager, apologized for the negative experience, and listened to my concerns which I greatly appreciated.
EveryJaee: Visited for my birthday and boy oh boy was I surprised(not sure why) at how AMAZINGLY PERFECTED THE CHICKEN WAS!!!! I am literally obsessed with how tender and flavorful everything was.Fine dining is something everyone should experience!
Louise Miller: It was great, yes I will go back,Dine in: Yes …More
Wade Perrigo: Excellent food and drink menu.. not a great tequila selection (no anejo or reposado of any kind). Service was great but it was nearly 250$ for two with 1 appetizer split, 2 main courses, and 3 or 4 mixed drinks and a bottle of wine. Seemed a bit pricey... likely I would say it was worth 150 to 175. I'd go to Winston's any day.
Becky Martinez: Loved it! Worth every penny! Food was cooked as we wanted it, staff super friendly. Acknowledged birthday celebration, woohoo even though reservations were made through OpenTable. Our waiter Scott, made sure we felt as we were part of the Ruth Chris's family. We were informed that the Raleigh location would be closed for 2yrs for renovation and the closest location would be Cary.
Eamonn Shanahan: I have been going to Ruth's Chris on Lassiter Mill since they opened. I usually order a New York Strip, and I specify that it is a center cut. We went for NYE and I had a Filet, my wife had a NY Strip. I asked that it be a center cut. It wasn't, but my wife didn't speak up until after. Overall I was disappointed. We felt rushed. The USDA prime designation is good...but going with end cuts is cheating. Plain and simple. I am a trained butcher and I know the games that stores and restaurants play with putting lipstick on a pig. If I eat at Ruth's Chris again..I'll have a burger. If I want a steak, there are better steak houses.
Tom McSweeney: Excellent, as always! The meal was well paced, cooked to perfection, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Melba Battle: Good food and service; seated immediately.
Felisha Gainey: Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes Curbside pickup: YesMore
Mr Freeze: Had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary. I'm not a steak lover at all, so if I go to a steakhouse, I have hard to meet expectations. Well, my expectations were met! The seasoning of my Cowboy T-Bone was AMAZING, and my wife had the Filet Mignon, which also was cooked perfectly. The Brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had, the garlic mashed potatoes were not overpowering and were perfect (I'm not a fan of garlic mash potatoes normally). The broccoli was perfect as well. Food is served piping hot as well. 5 stars all the way around. This chain had me going in with high expectations and we were pleasantly surprised that our expectations were not only met, they were exceeded. We will be visiting again.
Scott Mayes: Best Steak In The Triangle......hands down. And the Martini's are excellent 👍!
John Hoefling: Service was great, friendly and attentive. The steak was ok, nothing to rave about. When you dine in an establishment like this your expectations are for it to be amazing, best steak you’ve ever had. This was not the case. Only my second time eating at Ruth’s Chris and will not be back. Way too many other places to have a better meal at half the cost. Not worth the hype.
Lovely Bones (Shawn): Great service... food on point
Tonya Manning: This is my husband's favorite place we go every year for his birthday the food is always delicious and the service is always friendly and courteous this year he ordered the 40oz porterhouse and ate the entire thing by himself 😁Great place to dine wonderful atmosphere and they have complementary valet parking which is always a plus.
Hank Bialek: Fantastic dining experience. The staff at this location is amazing. One of the best dining experiences in the last 10 years.
S M: GREAT SERVICE AND FOOD

Chyna Jones: We had an amazing waiter, super friendly & checked in on us very few minutes to make sure we were good. The food was really good. I got sweet tea and was afraid it wasn’t going to be that good but it was wonderful. My husband got a white peach drink that was beyond amazing. They are a little pricey but over all it was a really good experience.
Joe Belanger: Waaaay too expensive for pasta food.Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Patriot Red: This was an incredibly disappointing experience. Server was friendly so we at least have that. 2 of us cannot have gluten it’s not because of choice it is because we just can’t. The gluten free pasta came out as regular pasta. We had to wait on them to be remade. On top of that each order was wrong. None of us liked the food it was not like any Italian we had ever had. The bonus is I ended up with the worst food poisoning
Mary Rogers: Nice chill atmosphere. Ordered magherita pizza pretty tasty. Peach Bellini was frozen wasn’t expecting that but it was good.
JoCarol Gau: Food is overpriced and mundane. The service was okay. The atmosphere is fine for a mall setting.Food: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Christopher Heath: Place was attacked by a date that I have had she wanted to go there so that’s why I took her honestly I was not given the wow factor I got the lamb chops and I expected them to be a lot bigger. They were very very small I could’ve ate two helpings on a $60 meal that is not what I was looking for so overall, it was very good. Oh, I will try again, but at the same time it needs to be said that when you’re spending $200 for a meal just they should have the wow factor out there. But at the same time it made her happy by date was happy so that’s a really good taste in my mouth I just needed more that’s all the lamb chops were very good you don’t get that buy those everywhere so Quetion point I do recommend a place very highly.
Nisha Minaj: Mother's Day DinnerMade reservations online thinking it would be packed, but it was not, instantly seated. The restaurant looks nice for them not to be super busy. I think the busses staff could have paid more attention to detail. Other than that, the inside was pretty nice with the decor and an open kitchen. The server was friendly but busy upon her arrival. My guest and I knew exactly what we wanted to start with. Our drinks from the bar came first and bread. We had to wait a little while for the water, but it did come. The drinks were okay, I had the Sangria. Let's just say I didn't finish it.Calamari was pretty good, extremely crunchy, though. I think it was the sauce that made it good. Lemon aioli and the homemade marinara were really good. Caesar salad was good as well. My guest had the chopped salad, which was pretty big for a side. For my main course, I had the Pasta Brio, I was tossing between that and the Lasagna, and my guest had the Chicken Malanese. I was not a fan of the pasta brio. It lacked sauce, although there was a little at the bottom of the plate. It also lacked flavor. With the extra sauce and parmesan, it still wasn't right. Didn't like the noodles they were on the well-done side instead of AL dente. The same goes for the chicken malanese it just lacked flavor. I wanted to get like a wine parmesan type of flavor for that but didn't get it. It was just sauce plain sauce, but the marinara that was around the rim now was amazing. I'm not a fan of spaghetti noodles, which I know came with the meal, but they were well done as well.We decided to pass on desert.
Josef Pauli: Family outing celebrating my middle daughter's 30th bday. Great waiter, very good food, deliciosus deserts. My favorite item was the truffle toast appetizer. Everyone had something different and all was great. It was a little loud from a background noise standpoint; made concersation a littke difficult sometimes.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Lizzie Trabulsi: Very slow service. Didn't have enough waiters, and couldn't pay attention to all of the customers. The bartender also kept breaking glasses.
Margaret Odishoo: Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5Recommended dishes Monday Pasta Brio, CarpaccioMore
marilyn masaitis: It is rare these days to see tablecloths used at restaurants. This alone sets Brio apart. The service is prompt & professional. The presentation of the food is eye appealing and the taste is flavorful. Brio is a clean and well appointed restaurant. This was my second visit to a Brio (a different location) and I can say that there is consistency restaurant location to location. I will definitely eat at a Brio again. The Chicken Limone was the main dish I chose and it was delicious. My husband had the Salmon Frescawhich he enjoyed as well.
