Johana Sanches: THIEVES!!!!! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! 2 different times and both times they took my card to swipe and overcharged me, my bank account showed almost double of what they vocally said the total was, one of the girl bartender charged me $12 for two bottled waters, one of the guys swiped my card and charged me $34 for 1 vodka and redbull. I have been calling, texting, e-mailing for 4 days and I never got not one response from them, I DO NOT RECOMMEND going here.. they’re all rude, people inside look at you like you don’t belong there, if you look at either direction everybody is ready to fight you for no reason… people get mad if you touch them but you can’t even move side to side, that’s how crowded it is on a Thursday night… my main issue is they are thieves and I stand by it.

My nephew who is 21 went to this club for the first time with his cousin who’s 20 he paid 20 dollars to get in and for her they made her pay 60 dollars because she wasn’t 21, also everyone was getting pushed around like crazy. People were rude unprofessional and it was overall a terrible experience I wouldn’t recommend going to the club ever.
Sondra Vinson: Tried going here last night around 10:00 with my girlfriend. Walked up to the door and there was absolutely no line at all. The security woman at the door checked my girls ID then said she has to search her purse which was wristlet size. She meticulously searched this small purse for minutes not sure what she was going to find in there other than some lip gloss and credit cards. Then the guy had to flash his flashlight on the purse as she’s still searching.Said security woman then says, “I have to pat you down”.I’m sorry what? We look at each other and immediately we’re like okay, “let’s go somewhere else”.NEVER have I tried to get into a bar with NO line and been asked to get patted down after you just searched a purse for five minutes. We’re two women in our thirties, I’m not sure what you could have possibly thought we had on us.It was a BIT excessive and uncalled for honestly. But that’s okay. We will gladly take our business elsewhere.Never will I try coming back to this place after that.

Un club con tanta clientela y que todos los fines de semana sea lo mismo con el alcohol no es logico. The DJ.. boy if you don’t keep one track on for more than 20s i swear.. lol he was all over the place with his selections and the choppiest transitions, which i believe is why 97% of the room was standing rather than dance. Don’t get me wrong, the songs were good but his timing with them was not and that is crucial. I wanted to dance forreal and catch the beat, but i was left dissatisfied. Also, the juice selection could be better. I’ve never had Tampico or Juicy Juice at the club, let alone at VIP. I was just left wanting more of a Saturday night vibe, but all I got was potential from the establishment.

Sandra Lowry: Paul is the man! My then fiancée and I had an absolute BLAST learning some new dance moves, as we decided to choreograph our first dance for our wedding. To say it was a complete HIT with our wedding guests would be a complete understatement. We received so many compliments from our guests about how fun and charming our dance was, and it’s all thanks to Paul and his patience and direction with us (no easy task - both my now husband and I have extremely limited dance experience). heather segura: I am so glad I decided to walk in to Arthur Murray Raleigh’s studio. Michael, Paul, Mary Ann, Jessica, and Amanda are all fantastic instructors. No matter the level of dance you are at, you are made to feel comfortable and empowered. The group lessons are a blast and the private lessons are goal oriented. The other students are so encouraging and welcoming that I have formed friendships that I was not expecting. No matter the reason for learning to dance, whether it’s your first dance for your wedding, for competitions, to learn how to dance with a partner, or even “just because you always wanted to since you were little”(my reason) the supportive atmosphere found here is amazing. Louise Cook: Coming to Arthur Murray Raleigh was one of the best decisions I ever made. Paul is an amazing instructor and has taught me to dance despite my physical problems. The rest of his staff is equally committed to their students. I had gone to other dance studios, but none of them had staffs so knowledgeable, so caring, and so understanding. They all keep lessons easy to understand, fun, and informative. I learn all the time, get a good work-out, and as a bonus I’m steadily losing weight. And at this studio, along with the other students, I feel as though I am a member of a true community. It’s a win all around!

Anthony Franco: Arthur Murray dance studio is a phenomenal environment for all levels of dancer. My wife and I came in for salsa classes for our first dance, and even tho we were not beginners, we were not highly advanced either. In the span of 6 classes, Paul honed our skills, corrected flaws, taught me how to shift my weight better and made us markedly better dancers. The studio itself is nice, it feels new, and they have many social dance gatherings there as well. All in all I would recommend the studio to anyone looking to learn or master a variety of dance styles. You will not be disappointed.
Alex Spane: I came to the Raleigh Arthur Murray studio just wanting to try something new and had zero dance experience or expectations. I had such a great time at this studio and was amazed at how enjoyable ballroom dancing turned out being. J. P.: I’ve been going to this place for years. However last night…. I made the mistake of not get my change back in cash from the woman working the front door register. Whoever it is that was working the front door register on 6/24-25/2023 at 1:45 am - should no longer serve this community of people coming in late. She is not an honest person. I was given my wrist band and charged $30 for entering at 1:45am the club was about to close. I gave her $40 - she did not give me me $10 in change back. If I go back I will never use cash again! It wasn’t even worth the money.
Lahinandrojohnson Koleane: 3rd this year at Farotage, the Carribean side is just very off compared to last year. Today, they played reggae for 3 hours. It shouldn’t be about what the DJ likes but what the crowds like. We go to farotage for a reason, if we want to hear regular music we could go downtown and that’s it.Again, you guys need to reevaluate your playlist because it is getting worse every time I go back there and it’s not worth the entrance fee!!!

robert robinson: My wife and I decided to go to Farotage Nation Lounge Saturday while we were visiting NC. I easily reserved a VIP Section (highly recommend) with Andre ahead of time. We got there early to pregame. When we arrived we were greeted by Andre, and the fun began. Andre and the bartenders had the best customer service. Everything was perfect. The club was clean, dope lighting/effects, the drinks/bottles were great, the DJ was on point. We were on the Reggae side most of the night but the DJ played all types of music. We danced all night. The vibes were great all around everyone was nice and having a great time. Then they brought out some great food to help soak up the alcohol before the end of the night. That just topped everything off perfectly. I can't say enough how great everything and everyone was. We will definitely be back. I definitely recommend this lounge!

Heather Hall: When entering the venue, the woman charged with membership and welcoming folks to the Western swing dance night immediately took an accusatory tone with me and my friend. She asked us how we had even found the event and seemed reluctant and defensive about letting us in. We were wearing dancing clothes and had come prepared to learn and be respectful. We were completely sober. I don’t know if I looked too young, queer, or Jewish, but she was straight up angry at us for finding the event. My friend had called during the day to make sure the event was still happening and we drove almost an hour to be there.She discouraged us at every opportunity and even searched my bag and told me I was not allowed to bring in a water bottle. She made us feel extremely unwelcome. This treatment was not the same for anyone else who entered, so maybe you won’t be similarly treated as a trespasser. When asked if she wanted us to leave, she tried to back pedal and apologize, but the damage was done. Thanks but no thanks- you made my visit sour and did not provide any hospitality. I hope this venue can find a less offensive person with more appropriate social skills to help them host what was otherwise a fine experience.As an educator, I know the importance of students feeling safe and accepted in their learning environment. It took me almost 30 minutes just to shake the feeling that I was not who they wanted there, so learning became a challenge. Other folks were fairly kind, but watch out for this lady because whatever bitterness she has towards the world may be placed in you.

The bar tender was very efficient and fast. Friendly people in a friendly atmosphere. It was my very first visit, but I was with a friend who had been there many times before.If you want to have a good time and you enjoy meeting people, dancing, and enjoying a good cocktail, this is a great venue to check out!I will definitely be going back again. Even though we drove 100 miles to get there! Next time, I'll get a hotel room so I can stay later.
Scott Jordan: Excellent venue! We were a touch confused at the entrance with applying for membership. But the woman at the ticker counter was lovely and very kind. We paid the fee which was expected. And are looking forward to membership! Excellent class spent an hour learning an intermediate / advanced dance move. We had a great time. Can't say enough good things about loafers.
Tim Epps: The wifey and I went for Dance lessons... Had to buy an annual membership, but that was only $10 and the 1st lesson was free.The dance instructor and the entire Loafers staff there were all incredibly friendly and made it fun. Even the other dance class members were fun snd helpful.
Gary Gibson: Loafers is a private club and these people are not members. Sometimes, folks will come after partying at another club and want to get in to use restroom or grab another drink. It is posted at our door that we are private. Many times, we feel they could already be under the influence or we are uncertain as to how much they have drank. It is really unfair that folks can post negative post and that venue can’t explain the real deal. One that posted was trying to come in and we felt she had already had too much of a party and refused to leave.No one was rude, just firm and she didn’t do well with that.

Kendall Vega: The music and vibes were great but I paid $13 for a margarita that wasn't even top shelf and the service was terrible. I'm a bartender as well and I already saw the tricks. I wasn't given the option to tip because they either automatically set the tip prior to you paying or they change the tip themselves at the end.I'll go back for the music but my advice is: show up drunk already

K: My friend asked to go to the bathroom and they denied her which was fine, she got back in line with us to wait. Then a rude security guard who clearly had a very inflated ego, said she was going to be denied flat out to go in at all. To not allow someone to use the restroom is so dehumanizing, never coming back here again. Not recommened unless you want to deal with egotistical male security guards.
abi memoli: Diego always takes good care of me I appreciate him so much !But I HIGHLY recommend a separate vip line so that people who have bottle service and tables going on inside don’t have to wait in a big line to enjoy what they paid for. Also you don’t charge cover for people getting bottle service that’s standard
Yanira: Friends and I were looking for a fun night club to go dancing and this club was IT!! It was our first time there and we had a blast. The vibes were fun, the music was good and the drinks were strong, lol.

Mar Ire: This was not a good first experience. It is the first time i went with my friend- i asked him to hold my drink to move it to the table (keep in mind i bought two drinks for myself- which the bartender did not question nor gave a receipt). The security accused him of drinking underage, he explained that he just moved it and they said they were watching him. My friend was driving and is very adamant of not drinking and driving. They assumed out of the whole group that was there of our friends who were a range of 20-24 years of age. Not a good experience at all. Since we walked in the security was watching us and profiling the group out of everyone there. I’m not sure if they just assume that they drink or they just choose people out of random. I don’t think i would recommend this so far. i’m hoping that it gets better because it has the potential, but that whole incident left a sour taste in my mouth.
