To say it was a complete HIT with our wedding guests would be a complete understatement. We received so many compliments from our guests about how fun and charming our dance was, and it’s all thanks to Paul and his patience and direction with us (no easy task - both my now husband and I have extremely limited dance experience). heather segura: I am so glad I decided to walk in to Arthur Murray Raleigh’s studio. Michael, Paul, Mary Ann, Jessica, and Amanda are all fantastic instructors. No matter the level of dance you are at, you are made to feel comfortable and empowered. The group lessons are a blast and the private lessons are goal oriented. The other students are so encouraging and welcoming that I have formed friendships that I was not expecting. Louise Cook: Coming to Arthur Murray Raleigh was one of the best decisions I ever made. Paul is an amazing instructor and has taught me to dance despite my physical problems. The rest of his staff is equally committed to their students. I had gone to other dance studios, but none of them had staffs so knowledgeable, so caring, and so understanding. They all keep lessons easy to understand, fun, and informative. I learn all the time, get a good work-out, and as a bonus I’m steadily losing weight. And at this studio, along with the other students, I feel as though I am a member of a true community. It’s a win all around!

Anthony Franco: Arthur Murray dance studio is a phenomenal environment for all levels of dancer. My wife and I came in for salsa classes for our first dance, and even tho we were not beginners, we were not highly advanced either. In the span of 6 classes, Paul honed our skills, corrected flaws, taught me how to shift my weight better and made us markedly better dancers. The studio itself is nice, it feels new, and they have many social dance gatherings there as well. All in all I would recommend the studio to anyone looking to learn or master a variety of dance styles. You will not be disappointed.

My husband was pretty nervous for the lessons and overall a stiff dancer, but they made us feel so at ease, and now my husband actually enjoys dancing and hits the floor with me when the slow songs play at weddings! We worked mainly with Bridget who was absolutely wonderful - so patient, fun and great to learn from, but all of the instructors were amazing.If you're considering or on the fence on taking lessons here, I promise you won't regret it.

Bridget was our main teacher for our first dance and we can’t thank her enough. We owe her so much for everything she taught us! Our wedding guests still talk about our first dance today and it was the most special moment of the entire wedding for my fiancé and I. If you are considering taking lessons for your first dance at your wedding you have to use Arthur Murray!! Also we recommend you take the group classes they offer, because it helps you learn several dances (which we also used at our wedding) and makes you more comfortable dancing with other people. Now that our wedding is over we already miss the Arthur Murray team.

Deanna Fleming: I have been taking private lessons and group lessons with Katherine at Adore Real Talent for 2 years now. She is an excellent and knowledgeable instructor who knows how to create a fun and comfortable environment to learn dance. She is extremely professional and organized. There are a wide variety of group classes available to try in addition to the option of taking private classes. If you are interested in starting dance or looking to switch to a new instructor this is your sign to pick Adore Real Talent you will not regret it!!!
Billy Foss: I came to Adore Real Talent at a personal time of transition. In my 40s, scrolling through GroupOn, looking for something different to try, I came across ballroom dance lessons. Dance was supposed to be both good physical exercise to keep moving and good mental exercise to keep learning new things, so I decided to try it. As an introvert with no prior experience or rhythm, I was surprised to see how much I accomplished in the first two lessons and how much fun I was having in the process. Almost three months later, and I am still enjoying and learning so much here.Katherine has such a positive personality and a heart for sharing the joy of dance with others. She does an excellent job of understanding where I am in my learning process and adjusts her private lessons accordingly. Sometimes that will involve a whiteboard diagram to help me visualize. Other times, it might be a simple conversation that helps me not overthink each step and work on muscle memory. She is very patient if I need to repeat a step and celebrates when I finally get it. The positive environment at Adore Real Talent really encourages having fun while learning, and I know that from my experience and I can hear it in the voices of other students I pass between lessons.

Owner/instructor Katherine Hayes adapts to different learning styles, provides clear instructions, and keeps you on your toes with new moves and variations that progress you through all kinds of dances. I've grown an appreciation for rythem dances including rhumba and cha-cha and smooth dances such as waltz and foxtrot.My girlfriend (now my wife) and I started taking private lessons a year ago. It works out really well for our busy schedules and it's terrific fun for us. Katherine choreographed our wedding dance (a rhumba) and we'll start working on showcase dances too. I normally don’t review places but I’ve had 3 lessons and 1 group lesson and I wanted to take some time to show some appreciation to the Fred Astaire Dance Studio. The introductory lessons gave me a great place to start as the introduce the different types of dances they offer and allow you to pick your favorites to learn.Other than learned how to dance my main motivation was exercise and dance is a great workout for the body but also the mind. The instructors here are top class and explain their directions clearly and in a simple manner and before you know it your executing a new technique that you could do minutes before.The instructors also have a lot of personality and make me feel like they are there to help me learn instead of just collecting a paycheck.I’ve learned so much in just 3 lessons and am very excited for my new lessons so I just wanted to leave a review here Incase anyone else is looking for a studio, this is the one!

I recently got engaged (now married!) to my fiance (now wife) and I didn't know how to dance beyond the basic robot, so I looked around and found Carolina Dance.From the moment I started to when I got the hang of things, the dance instructor helped me all the way. She gave me tips and how to practice at home with a partner. She, also, taught me different type of dances in case something came up. She instructed me the proper way to waltz and salsa; as well as, where I should place my hands and where I should stand.Thank you again for teaching me how to dance. In group classes and at practice parties, everyone is so friendly and supportive. There are some very affordable options if you are just thinking about trying out dancing but aren't sure how much you want to commit.
