    Welcome to our Raleigh Furniture Store, SoHo Consignments. We are Raleigh North Carolina’s first choice in “Fine furnishings for the Sophisticated Home” and THE place to buy and sell furniture in Raleigh. We’re also rated one of the best furniture stores in Cary, having won back to back Cary New’s “Best of Cary” awards in 2012 and 2013.

    Soho has also been featured on TV in a “Money Saver” segment with Amber Rupinta on local ABC affiliate WTVD 11 news.     Glen Wayer: We have purchased several items from SOHO and have been pleased with the price and the process. The store is not huge, but airy and comfortable with a nice display and selection of mostly furniture.

Items not priced and no effort to find price / unwelcoming atmosphere/ and 3% buyer premium at check out if using a card. I read many good reviews online about Soho but our shopping experience was not positive, and we won’t return. I read a comment that said the reviewer also found items without a price and thought she might have been sized up for what she could afford. We really thought that was the case. I don’t get that attitude shopping online, and isn’t it sad that brick and mortar stores struggle?

    John Morris: Oh the entitlement of customers, whining that they weren't greeted, harrassed, hounded to buy something by the employees here. THATS EXACTLY WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS PLACE! I came in knowing what I wanted/needed/was looking for. They didn't have it, so I left. I wasn't pressure or bothered or coerced into buying something else I didn't want or need. So yes, I would come back here. Maybe if the snowflake customers went up and asked the employees for help instead of expecting a red carpet to be rolled out for them upon arrival - their expectations wouldn't be so high & mighty.
    victoria wilson: I’m only giving two starts simply bc of the prices. Deals are great but AWFUL and I mean AWFUL customer service. We just finished building a house and had many items we were in search for. Some were just space fillers so we didn’t want to spend a ton of money. However we needed 4 bar stools, 8 counter height stool and 6 kitchen chairs so after seeing the Facebook advertisements we made the trip. When we entered we were never once greeted or offered any help, instead we were made to feel as if we were inconveniencing the employee who was on a personal phone call or gossip session if you may, by asking a simple question. We still bought a few items bc of the price, however we won’t be returning. I just ordered what I needed off of Amazon instead.

Everyone there was super nice in helping my boyfriend and I find a table and chairs/ bench to go with our table we picked out. Great pricing too on all the products and a great selection of furniture in there. Will be returning again!

    Jack Brown: Terrible customer service. Don’t expect the owner to look at you or talk to you. If the sign read “If we don’t like you we won’t talk to you” it would be more accurate than the Antiques that are advertised and not in store at all. This is not a bargain spot or vintage antique store. They sell ugly repainted furniture at a high price and mostly corny brand new with tags French country vibe. If you walked from next door to shop here it would be a disservice to yourself, let alone drive from any distance. Don’t waste your time. They will surely waste yours.

I saw so many exquisite pieces. The two young ladies at the front desk were also very pleasant and encouraged me to return as their merchandise is fluid and is always changing with new items.     Art Than: They have a variety of furniture and rugs but everything is beyond overpriced. Some rugs I looked at were like $1200. They do have a colored tag rotation which is nice.

    Erin Gubitz-Chung: Such a bright, cute, eclectic and friendly environment! There were items for almost any taste, from Provençal to country. The owners were kind and accommodating, but not pushy or intrusive like I’ve experienced at some small shops. Their thoughtfulness for their customers is evident - coffee for the adults and a play area for the kids. The place is bright, clean, and not dusty or musty smelling like many antique stores. They also have some old books! You have to pick through those a little more, but I personally enjoy that. I’ve sent a few friends here because of their merchandise and their obvious respect and care for others. I’m so glad we have a place like this in Durham.
    Bethany Frasier: Shop seems to go out of their way to oppose masks, like with signs that list all the things you can say to get out of wearing masks. No one inside seemed to be wearing a mask. I have a feeling no precautions are being taken here. It's too bad, but there are other similar stores along that same strip.

As two immune compromised individuals, we made the decision to not enter the store. The owners are complying with Durham County expectations, but I have never seen a sign like this in any store before. It seems to be going above and beyond to politicize this issue. I am just posting this to give immune compromised, or high risk for covid complication, folks a heads up. I will not be risking my saftey or the saftey of my community to look at antiques. May god hold and protect the owners and employees of this store.
