faith o: it was hard to understand with how heavy the people I spoke with's accents were when I first came in. I asked for a French tip pedicure, they said $22. I sat down, they never ran the water. I didn't get a foot soak, scrub, massage, anything. I wasn't offered any water or wine. She painted my nails with some low quality looking polish. Only the tips were painted and the rest was left raw, which looks horrible to see the bed of the nail. Most other places will do a nude/pink color base. At the end I was charged $25 instead of $22, which would be fine but I wish I never paid anything for this. It's been only 5 hours and it's already chipped without me doing anything rough to it.

Kylah M.: Didn't have the best experience with powder dip nails. My fingers were nipped quite a few times by the nail file/drill, the paint was brought up onto my cuticles, and there was a small hair embedded into the paint on my nail. I didn't notice until later and there can be a language barrier at times (which is no ones fault). Some honest mistakes but I still feel that my nails were not really checked to make sure they looked the best they could. However, I will say that the employees at Pretty Nails are very kind and I generally feel they try to do a good job and it is why I gave higher stars.

Eiman Newcomer: I usually don’t post reviews (especially negative ones) but I don’t want anyone else to waste their time or money at this place. I went in for dip powder on my natural nails and asked for tips on 2 of my nails that had broken. The woman told me they looked fine and proceeded not to put tips on. She also nicked my skin several times with the electric nail drill and didn’t seem to understand how that was painful. She would laugh every time I would pull my hand back. There was also a communication barrier as she could not say the price I owed at the end and instead had to write it down. Three of my nails broke within two days of getting them done and the dip powder is cracking off the other nails. I hope this helps someone who is on the fence about trying this place out.Service:Dip powder

By Monday 3/14/22 one nail had completely popped off.......by the end of the week most had popped right off...one broke but as of today I’ve got 3 left. I honestly thought they’d last longer (like other times I’ve had it done elsewhere) especially paying $60+ for it.

I'm diabetic so it's nice to have my feet taken care of and they did a great job. Reasonable price for them to take care of your feet. Also the leg and foot massage really make it worthwhile. I don't know if it gets packed any particular time but when we were there we walked right in. Anyway, for a man or a woman it's definitely worth it.

Then the lady started failing my nails as hard as she could. Burning all my fingers. She also said my nails shape wasn’t going to look pretty and when I asked her to put new ones she said those were new and she was not going to change them. I thought I was going to find help in the manager but she agreed with the other woman and let me go. Saying besides that if I wanted to get nails done I have to wait. To see if I find a place. This is something really bad and disappointing . MY FINGERS ARE ON FIRE!!!ESPAÑOL: ha sido la experiencia más horrible. Tuve una cita con una chica que se enfermó y nunca me avisaron. Me dijeron que tenía que esperar para ser atendido y así lo hice. Entonces la señora empezó a fallarme las uñas tan fuerte como podía. Quemándome todos los dedos. Mientras ella decía que las uñas cortas no se verían bonitas y que tenía una especie de zanja en las uñas, por eso me dolía. También dijo que la forma de mis uñas no se vería bonita y cuando le pedí que me pusiera unas nuevas me dijo que eran nuevas y que no las iba a cambiar. Pensé que iba a buscar ayuda en la gerente, pero ella estuvo de acuerdo con la otra mujer y me dejó ir. Diciendo además que si quería hacerme las uñas tengo que esperar. A ver si encuentro sitio. Se me hizo de muy mal gusto que ella tenía TOS muy frecuente y nunca uso tapabocas mientras me trabajaba. Segundo; pedí que me pusiera color mash mellow en mis uñas y como ella no lo encontró, se sentó y sin preguntarme o consultarme si yo quería otro color empezó a ponerme el color blanco SIN YO ACEPTARLO. ( como negociante ella debe de preguntar al cliente por educación por lo menos. Tercero; cuando me va a cortar las cutículas, saca un alicate de su gavetas SUCIO, al parecer con cutículas de otras clientas. A lo cual yo reaccione de inmediato y le pedí que porfavor lo limpiara o me buscara uno nuevo/ Limpio. Yo personalmente trabajo en departamento de la salud y esto es muy asqueroso ya que puede infectarle o pegarle cualquier enfermedad a una clienta con algún instrumento de uñas sucio. Not Really: I am a new customer , and Diana did my nails , she did them exactly like the picture . I’m from New York so when I moved here I have been tryna find an along that makes me feel at home . And this place definitely did that . When I came in they had the bachata music playing and the vibes were very friendly . MNorbs: I don't understand the condescension. The nail tech seemed inexperienced - like she didn't even want to work or be professional. I usually just roll with that kinda thing; I'm a super quiet and nonconfrontational person, and I'm sure she was just tired, but - I won't go back and pay to have that experience again.edit: in response to the owner's comment - No, I absolutely have the right salon. I never said Chapel Hill, I know where I went.Their comment also proves that they *still* insist on being condescending...I'm glad I wrote the review in the first place.

I called to get an appointment and her husband told me to be there in 10 min.As soon as she saw me, she started acting mad and talk to him in their language in a way that she is very upset to see me in her chair.To be honest I was so happy to not see her when I walk in thinking she wont be doing my nail and mistreated.I go there for the convenience. Its 2min away from my home and also their work is not bad as well, but not so good to get disrespected.She started being rough doing my nails that I have to ask if she is ok.Then she got better in the talk and also being rough.I have seen her talking other customers nicely but never said a work doing my nail. Never even have an eye contact. Didn't want to help choosing the color as well. But busy texting while she doing my nail.I decided to ask her what is her problem with me& told her she is very unhappy to see me every time I go there.I advise her to fix her behavior at the end and left her store forever.Your choice to be there, but accept the fact you might get disrespected paying money.I read a couple of reviews she don't like certain color or ethnicity???? Which is sad.Lady,just know everybody is equal as a human being & you will never know when you meet people again.Best in town?????I suggest to fix your personal behavior fist because people need to be treated fairly first.I can count salons did the best job in less than 5 min in this area that wont chip in 5 days. Nadine Jackson: Im from out of town so finding a nail tech is a very hard task. I thought I found one here BUT TIPS are the most important thing and the up sale on the pedicure this place SUCKS. I went a few times and I felt as if you was FAIR SKIN they are jumping threw hoops for you. I felt talked about and service was medium. I will no longer be going back due to the lack of HOSPITALITY.

Cathy: The nail technician cut my finger while cutting the cuticles. The gel polish lasted 3 day before a bubble formed. 2 nails had polish peeling by day 4. Called to get them it fix the nails since the manicure was less than 5 days old. I explained I was working until after they closed but could come the next morning. I was informed that they were very busy and couldn't do it the next day, just the day I was calling. A friend called immediately after me and was told times of appointments available the same time I asked for. Will never use them again. Aishah Griffin: Pedicures are excellent but nails are terrible. I wanted them to soak off soft gel and paint gel polish. They soaked the soft gel off unevenly so the gel polish on top looks clumpy. There’s a bubble of another color in my nail and they’re all a different shape. 😫 I just wanted something simple for our family photos and now I have to go home and redo them myself bc I don’t have time to get them fixed.

I get dip on my hands and gel polish for my pedicure. I think all the nail techs are great but love Lidey and Bronson. Sarah I try to get to do my pedicure. She always ensures I'm happy with her service!
Sakinah El-Fakhri: I got a full set of acrylics and a pedicure. I wasn’t really satisfied with the outcome of the nails. The technician was rushed and got up several times to help other customers during my service. This salon is HUGE, so I’d say if you go here have a SPECIFIC tech in mind. I don’t plan on getting my nails done here again, but the pedicure was pretty good. Overall the experience was below average.

Estefany Guiñan: Good service but the reason I am giving a 3 star review is because my nail technician was about 20 min late. I had an appointment for 4:45 for me and my friends. My friends were done by the time the technician arrived. When I paid I realized that the bill was cheaper than I was expecting but I thought they had given me a discount because the technician was very late. Well, 30 min passed and they called my friend who did the reservation because they forgot to charge me for gel polish. I gave them my card information over the phone and even brought up the point that the technician was late. Not a good costumer service experience. The person who called me from the salon did apologize, but being 20 min late to an appointment is very disrespectful of people’s time.Service:Pedicure
Brianna Dillon: I’m currently in the middle of a pedicure with Rosa lol. This is the second time she’s done my pedicure and it is absolutely amazing. She takes her time and is very thorough. Debie Lynn DeCrescenzo: The service is always excellent - I never have to wait, even though I am always a walk-in. They have so many polish colors to choose from, it can be difficult to make a choice! My nails have lasted four weeks or longer and they do really nice work.
Kentoria Wright: I've been coming here for almost 2 years, but today was my last visit. I called and asked about my toes being polished in gel. I was told it would be $25...which is outrageous. They gave me a ticket for $30, instead. That's the price of a full pedicure. Never again.
