Wish Upon A Quilt: what do users think?
Claudia Klavon: I stopped at Wish Upon a Quilt this afternoon. It was my first visit - Laurie gave me a tour of the shop and showed me her fabric and embroidery designs. I recently purchased an embroidery machine but have been very cautious about using it. She convinced me that I will be able to be successful with my machine. I will be back! Thanks Laurie!
Lyn H: A lovely place to visit! They have an abundance of beautiful fabrics, patterns, & notions, as well as kits and tools. I was pleasantly surprised by the unique & beautiful embroidery pieces on display and the Laurie Kent designs are adorable!!!! . So much fun to browse this store! I love the gorgeous examples of quilts they have hanging up all around the store! Highly recommend a visit to this excellent quilt shop!
Linda Meyers: Always a great place for FABRIC! Fast on mail orders and can answer most questions if called. Love this website!
Sarah Bailey: Wonderful little shop. Great fabric. Bought a Janome 550e from the store. Would have rated a five star had the Janome bonuses been available at purchase and had the trainer been better versed in the machine.
Pennie Locklear: A great smallish store! The owner is super friendly and wants to be as helpful as possible. She is a designer of embroidery patterns and of appliques. Great selection and display of fat quarters. I wish there were more fabrics, but there is a wide variety. Also they are a Janome dealership and boast the best prices in the area. Looking forward to returning.
Kelly M. (creperum): Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selections of blender fabrics for any project.
Beth Goff: Wonderful friendly staff.
Anna Redd: I have been to this quilt store a few times and really enjoy picking out fabric for new projects. The ladies are super helpful and give good advice.
Glo: Laurie and Frank, owners are very nice and want every quilter to have a great experience. The gals who work there are friendly and helpful. The shop has Layer Cakes, Charm Packs and lots and lots of beautiful fabrics, notions, and more. They are a Janome Dealer and have models for you to test drive. Costa is a Certified Janome Educator and also an expert in embroidery, I have taken his class and had a blast. You will learn a lot while having fun too. So stop on by the shop, say hi and have all your Quilting Wishes will come true at Wish Upon a Quilt.
Patricia Barclay: Wow! What a surprise! Very creative, upbeat, welcoming quilt store with real personality. Everyone was caring, friendly, and so helpful. Great selection along with the owners own fabrics and patterns. Amazing exploration. So glad I ventured there during the All Carolina's Shop Hop!
Patty Graves: Emily M,Thank you for the perfect order everytime. I know I can count on you.
Julie Steffenhagen: Great to do business with. When you call them they are a big help. Love their thread club. I do it all online. It is great. Wonderful company.

I pre ordered a Halloween and a Christmas bench pillow. I can hardly wait!! They are so adorable!!I wish I was closer to the shop. But will certainly be back very soon!!I also got to meet Costa too. I took a zoom class and he taught it for Janome. He is a great teacher. So much fun!!!!Update:I came back to town and just had to go…. 😀I was wanting a lighter sewing machine to travel with. Everyone in the store has been helpful and patient with my learning curve. Most recently, I was in Cary & stopped by the South Hills store. My questions were answered & I got a couple of impromptu mini lessons to boot. They suggested that I call & set up a time for my free lessons to help me utilize all the features. I will be doing that soon!

Bernina World of Sewing: what do users think?
Cindy Meyer: If you're in the market for a Bernina machine, whether it be a sewing computer, embroidery machine or longarm, BERNINA World of Sewing is the place to purchase. The technical support is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The learning and education programs are ,⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, the staff are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, and you will never ever beat the Bernina quality and standard of service because they are (you guessed it) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. You combine the Bernina standards with Bernina World of Sewing customer service and you have a sweet deal that will keep you happily stitching for years to come. If you know me, you know I don't often offer these type of reviews. My experience for the past 20 years has been awesome. I highly recommend the Bernina brand and Bernina World of Sewing as your dealer
Glo: I needed to update this review because I purchased the B740 which is an amazing sewing machine. I love all the fabric and choices they offer. I also love my B700 Embroidery Machine. I have owned many Berninas over 39 years and this was an easy choice for me. Sona, the Owner was wonderful and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase and price. The customer service I received was spot on! I also enjoyed the Owners Classes (2) and learned so much. The gals who work there are very informative and ready to assist with your quilting needs.I found my new Quilting home at BWOS and look forward to taking classes and joining Bernina Club. Come on down Quilters for a fun place to buy fabric, patterns, notions and so much more.Happy Quilting!
Vera m: Very helpful. Looking forward to classes there.
Aleta A. Krauss: They had a wide variety of fabrics, patterns, and tools. The staff were very friendly and informative!!! Highly recommend!!!
Maureen Phillips: I recently bought a longarm from the Bernina store in Raleigh and the whole experience was wonderful!  Sona and Michael are so friendly and made the installation process seamless :)  They expertly assembled and calibrated the machine.  Afterwards, Michael thoroughly trained me on how to operate it and was very patient with my questions.  I appreciated all his advice and enjoyed that Michael and Sona were so excited for me.  They truly made a happy purchase even happier!
dmaslett: Beautiful shop with fantastic and helpful staff.
Cathy Norris: Very nice selection of fabrics and patterns
Julendia Gaillard: I love the store, fabric selection, staff and classes they provide. I really love the warm and inviting atmosphere. The fabric and notions selection are top notch.
Caral Lock: Great store and friendly staff
Jennifer Saliba Bishop: I recently visited the Raleigh store to take a look at some of the Bernina machines in person before purchasing. My husband and two little boys were also with me and the first thing that Nancy did was welcome my boys and offer them each a toy pullback car (for them to keep) that kept them entertained the whole time we were in the store. She spent a lot of time going over the Bernina 550 with me showing me all of the features of the machine. She was so thorough, professional, and extremely helpful. She encouraged me to take some time to decide which machine to purchase and did not pressure me to buy one right there on the spot. I actually ended up purchasing a used 770QE online (the Tula Pink edition and my dream machine) but I so appreciated the customer support and the welcoming atmosphere of this store. I plan to come back soon to purchase fabric (they have BEAUTIFUL selections) and want to look into taking some sewing mastery classes with them. Do not be afraid to stop in this store! The staff is so very kind and helpful! Thank you guys for turning me into a Bernina girl!
Eileen Dudley: This is a great store for people who love to sew! Great selection of fabrics and lots of other goodies. And of course the wonderful Bernina machines! The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.
Amy Purvis: Five stars is not enough. I drive all the way from Fuquay to come here. I have been greeted warmly from my first visit, asked about current projects, helped and educated on products, and allowed to browse as long as I want. Selection is huge - especially Tula Pink! They really go the extra mile here and I make a point to shop here first. You can get fabric anywhere, but you cannot replicate the quilt shop experience.
John Levi: Came in to buy a sewing machine for my friend's daughter and Stephanie was so helpful with getting me set up with a great entry level machine for garment altering. Thanks for your help!
Kristi Servies: Great job servicing my machine.
Cindy Puetzer: It is a wonderful store of beautiful fabric and a very knowledgable staff! My go to place for quilting! And Bernina sewing machines are the best!!!
DaLung: Beautiful quilt shop
Eleise Jacobs: The store looked nice and pleasant, but when I went in to purchase a sewing machine I was completely ignored. I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked in. I sat for 15 minutes *by the machines* and said hello to the the salesperson, but still nothing. It doesn't matter how nice your shop looks if people can't buy anything.
Christine the Quilt Dasher: Love this shop! They have a great selection of fabrics. I'm always impressed by the amount of notions they carry. If it exists, they carry it! I had my Bernina Artista 640 serviced there and they made an error with it, but corrected it right away. (A part was loose in the bobbin area.) They try hard to keep customers happy. They are an active shop, with classes every month for a variety of skills. You will be very happy with this shop!
Charles Nye: I made my first stop into this delightful shop today. I am a quilter and I thought this location had everything a quilter could need - machines, a decent collection of fabrics, notions galore, and a very helpful staff. Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable and friendly. There were some value fabrics, a couple of sales, and I believe they do quilt-a-longs for those wishing to be more involved. They do have a complimentary rewards program which is always a plus. I will definitely be back!
Jenn M: They are always wonderful. Each time we come my 4 yr old gets to pick out a rubber duckie which makes her day. The fabric selection is wonderful and your creative juices come out as soon as you step foot in the store.
Kayde Puckett: I have been a customer for two years now, but I have to say that these ladies CAME THROUGH for me last week! I ordered a sit down longarm machine from them which was delivered last Thursday. That evening when I went to use it, the machine was making a funny noise. Friday morning I sent an email to the owner and sales associate who had ordered it for me, thinking that it would be days if not weeks before getting things straightened out. The owner emailed me back within minutes to let me know that they would have a service tech out THAT VERY AFTERNOON (I live 45 minutes from the shop, BTW). Sylvia came out, heard the noise, called the shop and arranged for a replacement machine which had come in at the same time to be driven out by one of the other associates on her way home. Sylvia waited patiently, set up the replacement machine, tested it to be sure all was perfect, and drove off with the other machine at 6:15pm. On her Friday evening. Never once did she seem like she wanted to be doing anything else, she was so happy to help. I feel this was such exceptional service by the whole Bernina WOS team and I am absolutely THRILLED to have ordered my machine from them. Customer for life!

JOANN Fabric and Crafts: what do users think?
Toni Kelley: The sales associates are always helpful. Great inventory.
Cydney Hatton: Went in to pick up a online order today around 1115/1130 AM. Went in store to look around for fabric and did not see anything. Got in line to check out to buy a drink...I completely forgot about notifying the store through the app for pickup. While in line I set it up for instore pick up. I noticed/overheard the women working at the register talking to another customer making a fuss about the notification coming through for a pickup saying that she couldn't take the order outside without the make and model of the car while my order is in her hand. Then she continued to make unnecessary comments to the customer about my order. I remember hitting instore pick up fo r my order so I didn't understand why it came up as curbside. I did not really appreciate the comments being made from the cashier. I wanted to speak up but I appreciate sherry checking me out and being friendly compared to the other cashier
Lexi Ray: Extremely unprofessional company, managers, and certain staff. Seem to not care about employees. Will never recommend or shop again. Do not waste your time with these people/company.
Jacqueline Deas-Brown: I had an awful experience there. I needed to finish a throw for my mother-in-law who is sick and the color yarn I had bought from them was not in the bin. The person working there said she would need the store manager, Sherry to help me. She was not helpful at all. I had the brand & color and Sherry told me I would have to look it up myself instead of having someone get the step ladder and check the boxes above. I googled it and got the item # from the Joann website which she could have done. She the looked to see if they had it in stock. I have never had such poor service. It was as if I were asking for the moon.
Sixx Lisman: Very rude employees.
Rick Rhoads: Normally has what we need. Good prices.
Lisa Russell: Great store. Please build one in Whspering Pines/Pinehurst/Southern Pines area.
Patrick Lynch: Great selection of craft items. I was there woth my daughter to purchase fabric and a pattern to make a costume for her upcoming musical. The fabric selection was plentiful and well organized. Just bring the fabric to the cutting counter and tell them how much you want. Very friendly staff too.
Carmella Walker: I hate this store! Customer service is horrible. Prices are way too high and you can never get everything you're looking for. It is rare you get the pattern you're looking for. They need competition!
Ana Coria: Always have a good experience at this Joann store. Everyone is very nice 🙂
Roberta Mrozek: Good price on yarn and discount coupons for return visit.
Jessica Mauerhan: Where's all the stock? Everything I looked at was missing half the items on the peg boards.I saw one employee working in the entire store (suggests to me they aren't paying enough to keep staff, or they're purposefully running the store at barebones staff levels), and she was a bit rude, suggested it was my responsibility to put all of my products with the barcode up when coming to the register. At least it's better than Hobby Lobby because they actually use a computer so you can get out a lot faster.I'll stick to ordering craft supplies online tbh.
Peggie Fields: Does not have a lot of merchandise like they use too. Check out getting fabric cut and paying extremely slow.
Jessica Phillips: Everyone here is always so friendly and knowledgeable!
Joel: Not awesome. I don't like the quality of the faux fur with the price of it. Very thin and poor quality for a high price. Don't recommend
Karyl-Lynn Desrosiers: This store has THE NICEST SALES LADY! With the best coupon secrets! Highly recommend this clean and well stocked store.
Home iPad 1: love the variety
HHilda Harris: I love shopping at Joann all the time
Sandra: Good selection of yarn for crochet projects. Made a comfortable blanket 😌
Tanya Palmer: I always find what I need. I don't want them to close!
Susan Reo: Love this store! Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Store is well -stocked and clean.

Quilts Like Crazy & Embroidery: what do users think?
Rebecca Dumlao: This is my “go to” shop that carries fabrics I love. If they don’t have what I need, the order is sent in promptly for it. Always helpful. Great classes. It’s just fun… visit and you’ll see!
Connor Scully: Your son posts anti-clickbait videos on instagram under the username @timesaver9000. The only reason I know this is because his most recent video was filmed here. Just want to thank you both for being wonderful human beings and making the world a better place!!!
Marie Webster: Friendly employees. Owner is quit personable. Very clean store with a vast selection of fabric. A must visit.
Kimberley Benton: Always super helpful. As a new quilter in 2020 I found everyone here to be ready to help and excited to see results. Always super encouraging when I come in.
Sarah Muglia: Friendly and inviting atmosphere. She sold me a magnetic purse snap that she brought from her home. Lovely place!
Tracy Arismendi: Beautiful quilt shop, quality fabric and friendly service! Not to be missed!
Katherine Spraggon: A very nicely organized shop with great fabrics, samples and embroidery threads. I was admiring a Featherweight 222 on display and having a conversation with an employee about it. Out of nowhere this employee, or perhaps the owner, felt the need to inform me, “You couldn’t afford it.” I had never asked it it was for sale. I happen to own two and use them regularly. It was a very condescending remark and didn’t relate to anything I had said. I had been prepared to spend some of my, apparently unworthy, money on some fabric, maybe a ruler or two, etc. My daughter was with me so we, and our money, left. Never to return. I truly hope no one else has the same experience.
D Cooper: Great customer service, the fabric is beautiful and the owner knows her stuff and if very personable. You will find something even if just looking. Can't wait to come back again.
Darcy Hamm: Very helpful. Thank you
Darla Marks: Amazing
Gina Slack: Great quilting shop with wonderful selections. Awesome owner and staff, we will definitely come again. #shophoptour
Rebecca Cooper: Today was my second time at this shop. My first time in this shop was in November last year and my experience was immaculate. Such a great variety and selection of fabric. The staff was so very friendly and knowledgeable. I came back to this shop again today to get some more fabric and thread for some projects that I have been working on, and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of new fabric that they had in the store from the last time that I was there! I was told that they actually just got in a few new lines of fabric today and I had to grab some to have on hand. This is by far my favorite store to shop at, and the staff just makes you feel so welcomed. I feel like I could browse for hours and still continue to find something that I absolutely need. Definitely worth the visit!
Jazz Rock Fusion & Synthesizer Music: Very nice fabric shop that my wife loves. She buys quilting supplies and takes classes here. The owner, Carrie Merchant, is very nice. Recommended.
Adam Scarboro: Wonderful selection of fabric, especially precuts! So glad I stopped in, can’t wait to come back!
Sonja Warner: Friendly, professional and very helpful staff.
Denise Floyd: Excellent experience today. Greeted upon entrance and the shop owner was most helpful in assisting me with my list of supplies. I will definitely make this shop a regular stop!
Gilbert Dillard: Very friendly and clean! Very personal service.
Cece Cink: Love this place!
Cynthia Bowers: It’s great to have this shop in Wake Forest! This shop is neat and organized, with space for classes. It’s smaller in square footage under new ownership; however, that’s not a bad thing. The fabric selection is nice with enough variety to keep you occupied while browsing. And their class list is large and varied with a nice monthly newsletter to keep customers informed about class schedules and new fabrics. This is a family owned business with friendly and knowledgeable customer service. I hope to eventually see online shopping for their fabrics.
Joan reagan: THE place to go for help finding coordinating fabric for a project with helpful service.
Celina Thomas: Excellent experience!!! I was greeted when I walked in and the sweet owner helped me find the fabrics I needed. I am from out of town but I will definitely return to this shop when I am back in town.

Craft Habit Raleigh: what do users think?
Rhonda Kuchinski: My favorite craft store!
Hallie: A friend of mine suggested we go to one of the classes! I ended up going to a paint pouring class, which was very cool! The instructor was professional, knowledgeable, and had clearly thought out how to organize things for beginners (no experience needed!). I had a blast! The store does require masks, so be ready for that.I didn't have time to look around the shop much, but the store was filled with crafting supplies for jewelry, needle felting, making clothing, along with a bunch of other stuff. It's a really cute place and a great way to shop local (and learn some new crafting skills)!
Ness Shortley: Great shop with helpful staff! They’ve got a great variety of craft items stocked, from yarn to fabric to embroidery to jewelry making and more. Highly recommend!
Helene Gerlitzki: They don't have a huge supply of yarn, but what the have is unique and service was top notch.
Malisa Price: I love this store because it changes frequently and you can take classes on so many craft avenues!!
Joy Hamilton: What a fantastic concept for a store. Learn crafts and shop for them too.
Laura Tillett: I recently completed the Burnside Bibs sewing class at Craft Habit and the entire experience was great!Sarah is delightful and a patient teacher.
Raoul Sosa: The Staff is awesome. They carry the most usable jewelry Tools Etc
Sarah Clarkwell: Very nice experience at Craft Habit. My first visit and was really impressed with staff and store.
Amanda Holt: This is a wonderland of craft supplies! Everything here is of very high quality. I would also recommend taking a class here; they are big enough where you get to meet a lot of people with the same interests but small enough where you can get individual attention. Also, the owners are the sweetest, most kind people you will ever meet. You will not regret buying your crafting supplies here!
beth fassler: I can’t say enough good things. This place is awesome. My daughter does classes and camps, I do classes and camps! We do classes together! Such a great place. Also my favorite place to get birthday gifts. Not to be missed and the owner Sarah is totally Rad!
Madison Holley: Hey- they do ADULT parties here, y'all. Come celebrate with 7 of your best friends by making a fun craft. Great space, great people, and you can bring your own food and drinks! Had a blast making macrame even though I am "craft challenged." They also sell super cute craft kits for you to DIY. Highly recommend.
Heather Hall: So glad to have finally found a quaint and eclectic place to get Artsy Fartsy!
Jen B: This is such a great, friendly little store.
Gloria Speight: Craft Habit is a wonderful store. They have a variety of items for us crafters. I especially love their fabrics.
Robin Gurl: Nice people but there is literally nothing there and the stuff that is there is over priced. Im disappointed. I thought there was finally a bead shop in Raleigh.I’m sorry to say this but don’t waste your time or gas. Use it to go to Carborro to the actual bead store or even Michaels. The other “crafts” they have they barely have enough to get to use for a project, you’ll still be going to a larger store to complete your project.I’m sad. I really wanted to like it. 😔
Jairo Robyn: Nice store and friendly staff.
Kristen Butler: VERY cool spot. I went in looking for a bead and might have found a new favorite place. Craft night happy hours, tons of kits, and the woman working was so helpful! I walked around in an amazed daze for too long. Can't wait to go back.
Donna Breniman: My daughter just finished sewing camp today. She absolutely loved it. She learned great skills and made a new project everyday. We'll definitely be back for more classes/camp.
Frances Grant: Nice store. Very nice owner. The prices are a little high.
Carly Scott: Super cute local shop! Very friendly and helpful!!

Quilt Lizzy: what do users think?
RoseMarie Ackerman: I just went in to look, 5/28/2021 but the gal who was there, sorry didn't get her name, was SUPER helpful and patient! Great little shop to visit if near Raleigh, a must stop!! Thank you so much!!
Darla Marks: Amazing as always
Sonja Warner: Always friendly and courteous service with a wide variety of fabrics, embroidery threads and more!
Unique Speaks: As a growing small business I truly appreciate the kindness shown to me by the staff at Quilt Lizzy. Our company decided to venture into the world of embroidery so I made a visit to Quilt Lizzy on a Saturday evening to explore our options. Karen was very patient in showing me the features and capabilities of their embroidery machines, demos included. Although the store closed at 5pm, she stayed well beyond closing to ensure my needs were met. The owner was also very kind enough to personally assist the following week to bring in equipment that had to be specially ordered. I look forward to being a long time customer!
Alma Burton: No matter what the project is, the staff of Quilt Lizzy are always ready and willing to help! I especially appreciate Jamie because she helps me with the heavy lifting with my machines for classes. The classes are always fun and I learn so much. Great place to shop and definitely worth the drive from Raleigh!
