Tiger Hebert: I feel like this place is a hidden gem, probably due to it's location. The service is always friendly and fast and the food is always very good and priced very reasonably. The portions are not huge, but they are more than fair for the price. You can also get in and out pretty quickly during lunch, which is always a bonus when your on the go.

Stephanie Toney: We ordered delivery from this restaurant. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and the rapid delivery. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Stir Fry Chicken and Mushrooms, Vegetable Fried Rice, and Pork Buns. There was a large portion of chicken as well as mushrooms in the Chicken and Mushroom stir fry. The food was tasty and well seasoned. The portion size was large enough to have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. We have been looking for a "go-to" Chinese food restaurant. I think we have found it!

Summer: This place is seriously OVERPRICED!!!!! We had Mongolian beef ($19.99) and stir fry lamb ($21.99). I will say each plate had probably around 4oz of protein in it. We had regular appetite and came here for dinner, but we ended up having to make another dinner at home. Come on, I know inflation takes a hit but this just purely takes advantage of customers. This place is located at a weird location too, right next to an auto shop in a remote neighborhood. We decided to come bc a friend recommended it to us, but it's completely disappointing. We got the very bare minimum service too. From taking the order to serve I'd say it's less than 2mins and also the server didn't care to explain my questions for some of the dishes. We'll never come back again!

The fried rice was plain but edible. The filling for pork dumplings appeared undercooked or maybe they were chicken. The scallion pancakes and Mongolian beef were chewy oil slicks.

Z. Brooks: I got back not even 15 mins ago from getting a to-go order.I got it as soon as they opened. I got the lunch sesame chicken with fried rice, egg drop soup and a spring roll.The chicken is just chicken with sweet and sour sauce not sesame chicken sauce. The soup was good! The rice you could tell was left over it is hard and dried out and only has soy sauce in it. The spring roll is dripping with oil, I picked it up and oil was dripping out of it.I also asked for chili oil and I was given burnt chili flakes drained of all the oil.Definitely disappointed and will not be going back to try other items.

Chandler Balkman: Good Sichuan food cooked and served by those from the region. I avoid "Sichuan food" establishments ran by people from Hong Kong, and this is not one of those . The Shuizhu Yu is quite good. Good flavor, good food. Not a premiere Sichaun establishment, but those are exceedingly rare. I will continue coming here often.

Ying Lee: Szechuan province is historically a poor region in China. People there eat a lot of rice because it’s cheap and filling. They typically use an excessive amount of oil and salt in their dishes so that a small portion can go with a lot of rice.Consequently, as a rule I avoid Szechuan cooking because I do not want to consume too much salt and grease. But once in a while, when in a plebeian mood, I order some Szechuan courses.Yesterday I ordered three courses from Szechuan Taste in Cary. I asked the person on the phone to please inform the cook to use less oil and salt for my order. During the course of the conversation, I reiterated the request two more times.When I went to pick up my food, the person I had spoken with , a young guy, said to me, “You must rarely eat out.” The opposite is true, so I asked. “Why do you say so?” His reply: “Because you asked for less salt and oil.”I was completely at a loss with this guy’s logic. He seemed quite petulant and obviously undeveloped. I figured that this was how he insulted customers who dare make a few simple requests concerning their orders.When I got home, I found the food was poorly packaged with oil spilt all over in the bag. I had to use 10+ paper towels to clean up everything, and I drained out a whole bowl of oil from one course. This young guy apparently did not bother informing the kitchen of my request.The food actually tasted semi decent. But I would not try them again. It’s simply too painful and frustrating to deal with people like this. Obviously this restaurant has no respect for elders who consume less salt and oil for health reasons.

J: If you’re placing a pick up to go order make sure you arrive inside of 10 minutes because they make your food FAST. That being said, this is by far the best Chinese take out in wake county. There are A LOT of Chinese restaurants in the region but this is the best there is. I’ve eaten here 30+ times, tried at least 20 items on their menu and don’t have a single bad thing to say. Try it. Ordered lo mein, potstickers, Mongolian chicken or something similar and crab Rangoon etc. lo mein was so bland and not enough juice in it. potstickers were not fried enough at least not for me. The Mongolian chicken, they failed to say green peppers were in it. Maybe it was part of it but I didn’t know and I don’t like peppers. it might be good without them. Oh well. Overall, the food may be good enough for others but I was very disappointed. I would not come back/order from here again. You get what you pay for.

Lora Khadder: I ordered vegetable dumplings and also wrote a note that it can’t come in contact with pork as I am Muslim, but when I got my food and took a bite it was meat and not veggies I instantly felt nauseous and when I called for a replacement I overheard the girl tell her his that she “did it again.” Overall will not come here again as I don’t want to risk another mixup.
Wenona Young: Do not waste your time here.They food is horrible and they give you a hard time to get your money or replace the disgusting foodThe General Tso Shrimp is soggy and gross and the rice and vegetables bin the rice was hard and uncooked.I paid 19.31 and when I talk to this lady she tried to call me a liar and then admit the shrimp is breaded and mushy. Then instead of giving my money back she argues with me and offer me the lunch menu which was half what I paidThis place is a joke. Do Not Waste you hard working money here.

The food is usually okay, I mainly just eat it when I’m needing to satisfy a craving.Not sure what’s going on here, but I’m concerned there’s an issue with quality control of the ingredients. I threw up my meal only a few hours after eating it. Clearly, my body rejected this food for a reason.Expired ingredients? Improper handling of raw foods?
