Lynetta Spells: Love the selection they have now and how organized it is(swimwear looks good too). However I had no help after a staff member placed my clothes in the dressing room. Staff should at least say hello when people walk in, the store wasn’t busy and I still had to walk out twice to find other sizes because no one was present. This is why I enjoy going to Nordstrom the service and help I receive is so much better.

Mariss: I haven't shopped at Express since 2008. There have been so many changes in how the clothing is manufactured that it no longer benefited me to visit. I finally visited yesterday while shopping for a blouse for my birthday. They advertised an online sale but with the variation of their sizing, I really needed to visit and try on clothing. My body has changed over the last decade and I need clothing that is trendy, functional and comfortable. Nicole was very helpful from the moment I arrived. She helped with finding sales items and using my app. Houston stepped into help me with sizing and finding styles I desire. I purchased a body suit that is very comfortable and can be paired with pants and skirts. I used my insider $10 discount and saved on top of the weekly sale. A nice gentleman helped me at checkout. I appreciate the professionalism at Express.Thank You ladies. I will return again.

Lynn Renee: Crabtree Location: Love the clothes but too expensive not to be able to get customer service. When I went to the store I had to ask 3 different people a question and still could not get an answer. I finally asked one of the shoppers for help. He even tried on a jacket to try and help me figure out how the sizes ran since 3 sales associates could not tell me. After finding the size I asked if they had a pair of pants in the back to go with a suit jacket that I found. The customer is the one who told me they had a lot of back stock! The sales person went and got the pants but when I got home I noticed they were a different color and fabric from the suit jacket. Spent almost $600 on two suits and the main black suit that I went to get didn't even match. I will be taking both of them back next week and getting my refund. They had one cashier and the line was extremely long. Apparently with all the sales help they need to cross train so the cashier will have some help! The customer service is terrible. They only got 2 stars because I love the clothes and the way they fit my son.

Lilly Shannon: We went to the Crabtree brooks brothers after going to multiple other stores to look for my fiancés suit for our wedding. This is new territory for us as we are young and have never bought a suit before. Prior to going to brooks brothers we were looked at as stupid from multiple stores and received no help. As soon as we walked into brooks brothers Susan greeted us kindly and was SO HELPFUL. She spent a lot of time finding the perfect suit for my fiancé. We felt respected and that we were taken seriously and she helped us make sure we found the perfect fit for both our wedding and rehearsal dinner. Yuri, the tailor, also came out to make sure we were purchasing the correct size for the best outcome. Susan, you are the best. Will be returning for any future needs we have!

When I finally took them out, I found that they really did not fit me well, but because of the holidays I was not able to get to the store within the 60 day return period. On top of that, I had also lost my receipt. Fast forward to early January and I took a shot and brought my three shirts back to the store and Kelly, who was amazing, totally made everything right and helped me find replacement shirts, and even an additional shirt that I really liked. Last month, I asked if they had a NAVY BLUE SUIT in the Milano fit. Nope. Not a single one. Today, a plain white shirt with French cuffs. Nope. How on earth can you expect to stay in business when you don't stock the most common suit color on earth in your most modern fit? I'd think if Brooks Brothers had only two items in stock, one would be a modern-fitting navy suit. Unbelievable.

Dave Kuntarich: Brooks Brothers and Nordstrom’s have become my favorite stores for dress shirts, casual shirts, sweaters and slacks. They have earned my business due to their continuing to offer good, solid “department store quality” goods that are no longer available at Belks, Macy’s and now even Joseph A Banks’ stores. The Brooks Brothers Crabtree store is well laid out, making it easy to find the items I am shopping for each visit. My experience with their customer service and sales staff has always been positive. I personally tend to duck away from salespeople until I need assistance of some sort, but they always have multiple people ready to jump in when needed. Five stars from me!

We were shown all of the options available based on my preferences, allowed the opportunity to try the products on, was offered advice on color choices and sizing, and ultimately walked away excited about my purchase. The process would have taken me about 30 minutes to an hour without assistance, but they got us in-and-out in under 15. Flawless experience from start to finish. Thank you, guys! I’ll definitely be recommending your store to everyone I know.

For Christmas 2020 I received a $100 Visa gift card and wanted to take advantage of the sale Brooks Brothers advertised. So I called to order three shirts. The order was $113.51. I called and a call center (sounded like India) could not figure out how to split payment between two cards. So I called again, got someone else who processed the order in a (what I mistakingly thought) flawless manor. Two weeks goes by - no shirts. So I called - closed. So I email - get an automated response saying they have my order, being shipped. So I wait 4 more weeks (not at more than 6 weeks) - email again. Email says I need to call. I call and they say could not process the $100 gift card. Since order was done I threw away the card.....so now filing a BBB complaint....should not be out $100 because of their inability to process a payment or communicate. FRUSTRATING!

Her level of customer service was “top shelf.” May I add that she was working the store by herself and managed to help everyone with a hello and thank you in spite of being by herself. Ryan Hancock: I haven't been here in years. Wow. This is not the Belk I grew up with. Belk looks like it is on the verge of bankruptcy. A good portion of their "flagship" men's store is empty. Empty space, racks and walls. It reminded me of Sears from the early 2000's.I was looking at sports jackets, some of the ones I picked up actually had dust on them. The fitting room was piled with clothes and smelled like urine. After finding a dress shirt I liked, I had to walk around the store just to find someone to pay for it. I could have easily have just walked out, but I'll bet that the security office was the one place they actually have an associate. That being said, when I did find someone to give them my money, the associate (shoe department) was super kind and helped me save some money with a coupon. I did the survey and gave him kudos, I can only hope Belk will recognize him. I swear he was the only associate in that entire store! God bless him.

I arrived in Erie, PA to attend a funeral and failed to bring any dress clothes. In most cities, a big dude would just be out of luck. Fortunately, the kind staff at DXL not only helped he find appropriate clothes but helped me quickly and professionally. I appreciate so much. DXL has good looking clothes for bigger people. I will continue shopping there at home or on the road.

Bethany: This store was really helpful with finding a suit for my fiancé. We weren't quiet sure what to expect as we had never been suit shopping but Tommy immediately saw us and helped us out. My man is pretty tall on the big and tall side so at first it was a struggle to find quiet what we were looking for but in the end we with Tommy's expertise were able to find every piece for a full suit and even get help with tailoring too to make sure everything is perfect. They helped us out and he was so patient with us walking us through every step to get every piece coordinated well. Overall it was actually a really fun time for a task we first saw as a bit stressful. They made it really simple and the deals were really good as well with good quality products. Thanks for your part in making our wedding day special!
Wilson Robertson: horrible customer service. older white guy that has grey hair was rude and dismissive, young black man in a white coat was not helpful and quite arrogant. neither store clerks could even point me in the correct direction of dress shirts as none of their selections were organized by neck and arm length size and the 1905s and the traditional, slim, and tailored fits were mixed together. worst part of all was that no sizes were labeled on the front of the shelves and the shirts while color coordinated were mixed neck sizes. I waited for thirty minutes and was never given any help. worst experience i’ve ever had at jos a. banks. if you can, go to a different location

Basically nightmare scenario. Braxton and Tima were absolutely amazing and helped me fix my crisis the same day and I came I and the wedding went super smoothly. The suit I purchased looked super sharp. I can’t praise the team enough and have recommended to others to come here. Thank you again!

There were two employees, 4 customers (including us) in there. The young guy, tall and black hair, was extremely nice. He was helping someone else out when we got in there but told us not to worry and that he would be with us in a minute. EXTREMELY NICE! This man needs a raise or to be promoted to the owner so something actually changes around there. There was a second gentleman in there, older man. He was helping some lady out and she did not like her experience with him so obviously something was wrong. After she left frustrated, we were the next ones in line. My husband walked up to the counter when the older gentleman asked what he could do for us. He was smug and rude. He asked if we had an appointment and we politely said no & told him that we called yesterday and they said that we didn’t need an appointment. The guy rudely said, “We will see you when we see you.” Now, from being in customer service for 13 years….I have learned that you don’t treat people like that. We obviously had to buy from them so they have to treat us nicely…..is that right?? Then, the younger gentleman said, “As soon as I get done with this gentleman, I’ll be right with you.” Give this man a raise. I applaud you for great customer service. It was 5 more minutes and then the younger gentleman helped us out and we were out the door in 10 minutes. We probably won’t even be able to go back to that location because it will be closed down before we even have the opportunity to unless ownership is transferred to the younger man. Good luck 👍🏼

However, over the past several weeks, Billy went above and beyond to help me find my perfect suits and pants. Billy was kind, patient, and customer oriented. We were a part of a wedding party and the groom was paying for all tux rentals, with orders at the Fayetteville location and the other Raleigh location. Absolutely no issues to anyone else in the party on groom paying except for this location which did not allow it so we had to pay for our own rental. Update to the post. UK B.: After I had a very bad experience at Creedmoor branch(No greeting, staff named Jaylen was extremely rude etc), I wanted to try the other branch in Raleigh which was this location.The customer service scale is like 1 vs 100. GM Greg was really nice and helpful and enjoyed his job and customer service.I bought suits from him and I feel very satisfied with his professional service.
Aaron Ingram: Staff is awesome in store, my only con is if you need to get in contact with them you can never get a live person on the line, always go to voicemail. With a busy schedule it would be nice to talk to someone instead of having to go to the store.

Justin Stansell: They were short staffed when I popped in, there appeared to be a single employee and the store had about 8-10 people browsing the wares. The lone worker serviced each of us in a brief but comprehensive way. He was able to save me money by recommending an online order that would deliver to my house as opposed to a tailoring operation which I would have had to pay more for and make a second trip to the store.

Ben Smith: Prior to going to this Jos. A Banks location, I made an appointment for Saturday, May 27th @ 12:00pm. When I arrived, it took 10 minutes for an employee to approach and ask if I needed assistance. I told her that I made an appointment online. That I was getting married in October and wanted to find suit colors to best match the bridesmaids dresses. She only replied back with an “ok” and walked away. When she could’ve easily said, “I’ll be right with you.”My friend and I proceeded to browse around and find color samples to hold up next to the jackets. In the background, we heard one of the employees say, “I think that couple needs help.” And they weren’t talking about us. At that point, we left and will not be going back or recommend this location. I hope the other locations in this area have been trained with better customer service.

Wrong sizes and wouldn’t tailor to any requests. Won’t ever go back!
Aaron Heil: Worst place I have ever been too, and I’ve been to a lot for suits and tailoring. These guys are so unorganized. It takes them 30 min just to find your suit. When you get measured they tell you your suit will be ready in about a week or two, then it takes two months, only for you to gain Lu go pick it up without the pants hemmed, which they don’t tell you in the first place. Now I’m stuck the day before the wedding trying to find a tailor. Find another place for a suit, these guys are not professional, are not organized, and don’t care if they inconvenience you.
Laura Crawley: My son and I came to this location today to shop for a suit for him. Not one of the employees working in this store greeted us or asked if they could help us. After 15 to 20 minutes of patiently waiting for someone to acknowledge us, I finally mentioned to an employee that we had not been helped. He said he would be back to us. After continuing to wait and observing another employee standing there arranging items on a table, we were approached. When we communicated what we were looking for, the employee helping us acted like he had no clue what we were asking for and very limited knowledge of their product line. Bottom line - this store location is staffed by completely unprofessional employees who obviously consider prospective customers as mere annoyances! Do not waste your time coming to this particular store!
Eric: So, I ordered 6 sport's shirts on the Jos. A. Bank website, all of which were described as "traditional fit" (per a custom search). All shirts were delivered as "tailored fit". I took them to the store for a refund, and mentioned the reason for return. What annoys me most - aside from wasting a lot of time conducting a search only to learn the system provide me with inaccurate results, is that the staff refuted my concerns, and even after looking up the information for one shirt to learn it is indeed described as "traditional fit" made no apologies, and acted as though nothing was wrong. Hardly a great experience. 😒
Dustin Trask: Purchased two custom suits. Went in for fitting, they were stock off the shelf suits. No customization at all. They took all the standard measurements to create a custom fit, but sent a stock. Don't tell me you are making me a suit then give me a stock suit you plan to alter. That friends is fraud. I will never buy anything from that place again. And made in China. Didn't know that going in. Never again.
Scott Rasmussen: This is now my go-to place for suits, shirts, ties, etc. The staff is excellent and goes above and beyond to deliver a great experience.I ordered a custom suit that wasn't quite right when it was first delivered to the store but the salesperson and in-store tailor did an outstanding job to make it right. The next version was perfect.The salespeople that helped with the next 2 custom suits were even better...what a great experience.
Jason Hosonitz: I had an excellent experience today, even though the store was short staffed. It didn’t matter that I chose to buy a suit off the sales rack and was pressed for time. The manager was polite and worked quickly to get me a shirt that met my needs and fit me well. He recommended a last minute tailor and had me out the door quickly. I’ll be back!
Stephen Odom: I ordered the suit using the wedding code in April and today, the day of the wedding, the rest of the wedding party has buttons on the cuffs of the jacket and I don’t. What’s up with that? None of the other men had to ask for buttons!
Jeff Berry: I came down to Raleigh for a wedding and had tailoring emergency and the tailor at this Jo’s a bank (I didn’t get her name) was incredibly kind and accommodating. She had my suit jacket completely done and ready to go within 24 hours and I couldn’t be happier with my experience here.
