Clarks: what do users think?
Eric Westbrook: There are some really nice shoes in this store. Moderately priced because Clarks last a while.
Krikor K: Worst customer service. Staff would rather chit chat then help a customer.
Jaafar BenAbdallah: Although looking really young, staff were very helpful and knowledgeable
Kenneth Johnson: It was amazing, everything I wanted was there.
Sara Fady: natural leather
Pamela Hudson Williams: I love the comfort of the selections there and the good quality of Customer Service here.
Chen D: This is the most horrible shopping experience I have ever had.I went to this store while I was traveling in NC for a trip. They did not have a correct size of shoes and offered me to ship the one to my house. When I got home a couple days later, I saw the shoes with the correct size on the box, the the shoes was a wrong size. I did not understand how people could make a mistake like this. Don't they even check the size before shipping? Now the problem becomes that I have to return the shoes in the store since I purchased it in store. There is no way I could get a refund unless I take this shoes and show up in a store. And there is no store around where I live. Really inconvenient and helpless custom service. Will never get anything from them again.
Darius Ellis: Great shoes very comfortable
Amelia Estrada: The lady thinking that am not going to buy nothing just because am Mexican for real asking are you going toy buy something like 🤔 me answering that's why am here like people know clarks are expensive I don't came here just lo look 😐
rochede sibblies: Love the selection and customer service
Brandy Shute-Rhoney: All employees were really nice and very helpful. Store was very neat and clean.
Vivian Umanzor: I’ve been looking for a certain type of style and design of shoes. My father really loves. Father’s Day right around the corner. This was the perfect. & Darrell was just awesome, he walk me through the differences and prices. This man needs a raise. He was very helpful and gave me options! Thank you so much!
Ken Rousselo: Very friendly service, even though the store was packed on the weekend the clerks still took the time to help. Good experience, good shoes
lovey allen: Love this place
R J Brown: I used to love and own so many clogs and sandals. But now that their footwear is made outside of the USA, the quality of their products have gone soo far downhill. My Clarks used to last for over 5 years or more. But anything of theirs I have purchased that is made in a foreign country may last 2 years or less if you are lucky. I no longer purchase their footwear. 30% of my footwear collection was Clarks until their quality became non-existent but their prices remained highly inflated. So disappointed in this company products. There 3 tiers of Clarks and most stores choose to stock the low grade Clarks. Make sure to inquire before you purchase your shoes. Want to know how to only purchase the high end Clarks and find out how to know the difference contact Lee Shoe store and speak to one of the owners. Knowledge is Power.
Rated R: I love this place!!
Keathren Hewett: Super service and well informed staff about products, not pushy at all to make a sale.
Zuska Dieck: The sales associate we had was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Cute shoes if they fit you well, not overly crowded.
Heck Boi: the shoes were okay but the staff was AMAZING very helpful and friendly I might come again and look around
Jonathan Thomas: Appropriately staffed. Enthusiastic employees. Dresscode might should tighten up. Good stock.
Russell Richardson: Great shoes

Dance Etc. Dance and Fitness Boutique: what do users think?
Lindsey Atkins: I had a great experience today at dance etc. they had a sign on the store saying they are short staffed so I expected to have to wait. Thankfully I went in at the right time and was helped pretty quickly. I am not sure the name of the woman who I worked with today but she was pleasant. She engaged in conversation and explained to me how the shoes should feel and did a great job sizing them. I got two pairs and both of them she got the sizing correct on the first pass, so I felt like my time was used wisely.
crystal b: This is one of the best dance stores. I am a pointe teacher and send all my dancers to Danae. She is so professional and helpful. She takes her time and makes each pointe shoe fitting a special event.
Vickie Tassios: My daughter had a beautiful experience being fitted at Dance Etc. by Danea. She has incredible knowledge of all the details that must be considered in fitting a dancer properly in a pointe shoe. She is precise, professional and determined in finding the best fit for your dancer. My daughter is finally excited to have a shoe that will allow her to work hard in excelling to her fullest potential as a ballet dancer. I definitely recommend Dance Etc. for pointe shoe fittings. You will have a beautiful experience all around.
rebecca Journigan: We would trust no one else with my daughter’s pointe shoe fittings, tap shoes and all things needed for dance. Danea is the absolute best, most knowledgeable and professional in the area. Highly recommend for all things dance at any age or level!
M R: I absolutely LOVE Dance Etc.! It is the most professional, personable dance shop my daughter and I have ever been in! The owner, who is a dancer herself, will move mountains to help you. It is very admirable to see a small business like this still open, and thriving at the moment. It's extremely disheartening to read such awful, unbiased reviews posted on google. I have been shopping at this store for years, and never once have I ever felt like I was being pushed to the side, or I was wasting anyones time. I was always treated with respect, and the owner would bend over backwards for what I needed. I AGREE with this review..."Everyone has to be more patient these days because all businesses are struggling to find enough help. But when it was my turn, I felt like the owner wanted to make sure I had everything I needed and she did not make me feel rushed." Everything this commenter stated is accurate! If you are going to shop in this store, be patient they are extremely short staffed. They are doing their best!! We all need to support these small businesses more and not try to bring them down. (which is absolutely ridiculous)
Jeanette Whalen: What a gem of a shop! It is well stocked with a wonderful variety of dance related items. Fittings for pointe shoes is a special experience in an elegant setting. Owner Danea Polise is friendly, professional and so knowledgeable. A visit to Dance Etc is a great experience!
Kodie Sharpe: Worst PLACE EVER RAIST!!!, I looked in there reviews and all the one stars are from a colored person, I’ve had the same experience every person said on the bad review, after I came out the store I looked at the reviews, we walked into the store looking for tights for my dance, she seen us but didn’t greet us. She was helping another person but she still could’ve said something. I walked over in the shoe section looking around to see if she would say something usually the sales person would say “do you need help, I’ll be right with you” she didn’t say a damn thing she didn’t even look at us. After she was done helping the girl she still didn’t say anything, she walked right to the register without a word, until we asked her do she work here. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. I won’t ever come back here. And during Black History Month is crazy not gonna lie.
Elise Chang: I LOVE Dance Etc.!!! I got fitted here during the summer of 2021 and have been wearing the EXACT same brand and style of pointe shoe ever since- it is perfect for my dancing. Thank you so so much!
Frances Yoak: A true pleasure each and every time we go. My mom and I enjoy this experience so much. Danea is so gracious, so knowledgeable, so helpful with all aspects of a pointe shoe fitting. A fabulous experience. I Highly recommend her and her business. Nothing but quality and passion.
Rachel Romano: My 4 year old just started dance and I’ve had to get all of her clothing. I had NO IDEA where to start but the owner of the store helped so much! Everything is so organized in this store. She helped me step by step with each of the things needed for my daughter to start dance! Can’t wait to go back for more!
Hunter Peebles: I absolutely LOVE shopping at Dance Etc.! It is the most beautiful dance shop I have ever been in! The owner bends over backwards trying to help everyone. I am so grateful that the owner has continued to keep her shop open even if it meant working triple time herself when she couldn’t find others to work. Even when the owner has several people waiting, she makes sure she takes the time needed to fit the shoes properly! I went by today to purchase some items and saw the owner giving some children stickers as she wished them the best dance year! And I did not mind waiting because she was working hard to wait on everyone as quickly as possible! Everyone has to be more patient these days because all businesses are struggling to find enough help. But when it was my turn, I felt like the owner wanted to make sure I had everything I needed and she did not make me feel rushed. Others were being very patient and seemed to love looking at the huge amount of dance wear, accessories, gifts, tutus, and shoes. Anything any dancer could ever want is at Dance Etc. and I for one have always enjoyed each visit to this store and will continue to highly recommend it to everyone!
Stephanie Garnuette: I did not feel welcome, and would even go so far as to discourage purchases from this business. I also plan to let the dance program at my daughters school and the dance program she is beginning outside of school know about our experience.I took my daughter to purchase shoes for a contemporary dance class. There was only one salesperson present, and she was fitting a child. She never acknowledged our presence, no greeting, at all. After browsing the shelves ourselves for a few, and while the customer discussed the shoes with her mother, I asked the salesperson if she had “turners”, which is on the list of items given to us by the dance school. The salesperson said she didn’t know what “turners” are, and pointed to a shelf and asked if I meant half-soles. I’m not a dancer, so I don’t know the terminology, but clearly after doing a quick google search, “turners” is laymen’s term for half-soles. It was also clearly an inconvenience for the salesperson to hand me the shoe she was referencing instead of pointing at the shelf from her seated position on the floor.Meanwhile, mom and child go to the dressing room, but the salesperson still did not ask how she could help us, so I asked her if she would. After fitting my daughter, she walked to the register without a word. I asked the mom who had now returned with her daughter if she was ready to check out since they were there first, but mom declined as her child still had more shoes to try on. When a man and his daughter entered the store, the salesperson greeted them both and said she’d help them as soon as she could. At a minimum, most businesses say hello when you enter, and many offer to help and/or let you know you will be helped in a timely manner. They also don’t attempt to belittle customers who may not know correct terminology for a given item, when they clearly know what you’re asking for. And lastly, they don’t treat people differently according to the color of their skin, ethnicity, or culture, which this business seems to do a fair amount of by the looks of some of the other reviews I’ve read. Do better, Dance Etc.
Liz Hahn: Very knowledgeable and wonderful service!
gavin b: It was amazing. L Leslie
SANDRA POLISE: I have been going to this store since ir opened. The owner works very hard to make everyone satisfied with their purchase. The shoe size is never guessed but asked what size shoe they are wearing. I love it and the people are super nice. Glad this store is here.
Natasha A: What just happened? Manager needs Customer Service Training 101!!!I drove quite a distance to purchase quality ballet shoes that would be properly fitted to my daughter's needs. At first entry into the store there was a sign posted that they had limited staff which explained, when I called first to make sure they were indeed open it went unanswered, but none the less I decided to make the trip as this event in my daughter's and any young girls heart is Special and Exciting! When we walked in, the store was very nice and appealing. There was one lady working and she was assisting a customer already, so I didn't mind, and just made my way over to the ballet shoes and looked at the different options, my daughter had taken ballet a few yrs ago so I had a couple options in mind, I just wanted to make sure she was in the right size. After about 5 minutes the lady comes over and ask "How could she help us" With a non personal, apathetic, and blank demeanor. It felt, weird, awkward and confusing, but I excitedly replied we need Ballet shoes for my daughter! She asked what dance facility she was at and I told her. She asked "Do you want Leather or Canvas"? We picked out 2 styles from the top shelf that were priced at $23 or $25. She asked her to sit on the bench and immediately began to place little stockings over her feet and used her hand to "Estimate" her shoe size. She comes back with about 4 boxes and starts placing them on her, completely avoiding eye contact with me or my daughter for some unknown reason.. My daughter is very soft spoken and doesn't know how to verbally advocate for herself, she told me quietly that they were too tight on her and didn't feel right. The lady asked her which one she wanted of the 2 choices, and my daughter replied whichever one my Mom says. This lady immediately said "you are the one wearing them in an inappropriate tone and completely dismissing my role as the Mother to say that to my own daughter. While she is right it is about what feels most comfortable to her, she was simply looking for my approval and was confused at how the shoe felt.I had to tell her we needed to try a bigger size and showed her how the shoe was way to small. She tried to tell me that was the way it was supposed to be, but I told her well she is telling you its not right, so we would like to see a couple more larger sizes. She ended up being a 9 and not the 7 she expected her to fit using her hand calculations. When she went to the back to retrieve the much needed larger size, I was so confused by her treatment towards us I thought, maybe she is just having a bad day... Despite me trying to engage her into a questions related to tights and the shoes- she NEVER smiled, or even tried to pretend she even wanted to be there. She made going to renew your Driver's license feel like a place we would be more welcomed at than this place of business. I was in there less than 15 minutes and after being charged more than the shelf price for a pair of shoes and tights, I didn't even want to ask her why the shoes were $20 more than labeled, but I did have one inquiring question and just had to know.. so I asked are you the owner, and she replied No, the Manager! I knew and know I would never come back there but this "Manager" is not an Employee I would allow representing my store and putting a face with my Company name and in my Community of established customers/reputation. I left there overpaying in price, time, and completely at a loss for words, for what just happened and how did something fun and exciting turn into the worst Customer/Consumer experience in all my life, so much so, that I felt compelled to write this review to share my experience in hopes that no other future customer walks out of your store feeling completely DEFLATED!
Leslie: This store is the worst. Everything is majorly overpriced but I suppose that's the norm with dance stores now that they don't have Payless competing with them anymore. The woman who works there is rude and lacks basic customer service skills such as greeting customers in less than 10 minutes who are clearly waiting to be helped. When you have a line of people waiting maybe spend a little less time chatting with the toddlers who are running around the store and more time trying to move people along. Also, the only tap shoes they had that would even fit my 13 year-old daughter were $170-220. Online they had many others but not in the store. The problem with that is that they apparently charge you a "shoe fitting" fee if you don't buy their shoes after trying them on! I've never heard of such a thing. They don't even own one of those foot measuring devices so the woman just guesses at sizes which is part of why they take so long. So not only did we not end up with shoes but we couldn't even find out the proper size to order online. It was such an unnecessary waste of time.
Rebekah Reed: Great service, with lots of options for quality leotards, skirts and shoes.
Michelle M Kalasz: We’ve been customers of Danea/Dance etc. for well over a decade. She’s fitted both of my daughters in their first pairs of pointe shoes and I imagine she’ll be fitting their last! We’ve had more pointe shoe fittings through the years then I could ever count and we’ve never felt rushed. She’s always been knowledgeable and spent the time with my girls when they felt they wanted to try something new which I don’t believe you’ll get other places locally. Larger stores rarely will you have the same person fit you which I see as a huge disadvantatge. Danea has always made them feel important and takes genuine interest in how and what they’re doing not only at dance but personally as well. At Dance Etc. you’re not a number, she knows me and my girls by name. Theirs something to be said for the personal service of a small business which now more then ever is so very important to support. I appreciate being able to go in and know who’ll be fitting my girls, again not something found in larger stores. The likelihood of getting a good fit improves when you’re known personally. Danea also danced professionally, which I believe also helps know and understand in a different way what they need. The store is beautiful, always immaculately clean, a great selection of not some but all of your dance needs. It’s a great place to always find a personal gift your dancer is sure to love! If you’re looking for personal service and find supporting local small businesses important as I do, I can’t recommend Dance Etc more, we’re customers for life and so appreciate her and her beautiful store!
Ga Boulo: Bought granddaughter Pointe and ballet shoes. Excellent service both in fitting and sales.
Flor Avendano: I am so glad that we found a place where we could get everything that both my daughters need for their dance classes. My daughter that is en pointe is so happy with the shoes she was fitted in (she was fitted by Mrs Danea Polise-Bickerstaffe.) she is very kind and professional. Every time my daughter has been fitted for both demi-pointe and pointe shoes, Mrs. Danea has helped my daughter get the right pair of shoes she needs to feel comfortable and supported when dancing.I recommend Dance Etc. for any dancer that needs something to help them with their dancing. The quality of everything here is so good. Every time I walk into the store, me and my daughters feel so welcomed and happy. Thank you all very much for everything.

J.Crew: what do users think?
Hillary Bost: Love JCrew The staff was extremely helpful and kind. I needed to be quick and they helped me get what I needed and get out quickly.
A K: Please do not buy a gift for someone from here. They will not allow an even exchange for a different size without a receipt. Absolutely horrible customer service, shop elsewhere!!!
Tabitha Branthoover: Kim was a joy to work with recently and helped my husband find a great suit for an upcoming wedding we are attending. Being that the wedding is coming up quickly and we sort of waited until the last minute to shop, we were worried about finding something that would work. When we found that they didn’t have his size in store, she quickly let us know that it could be overnighted. The suit was delivered on time as promised and fits great. Thanks for your help Kim!
Zana N Hicks: Lindsey helped me by setting up a dressing room literally with my name on it and with the items I'd picked so far so that I could continue shopping. Then, when I realized the sizes were too big she went to grab the correct sizes for me. She even let me know of the student discount which I didn't know of. All in all, great customer service and the store was very organized. Will shop again!
Eric Westbrook: Very nice store
kook cho: very good service and worker is good job's
Yvette Beale: They never have my size
Mikel lion: Good personnel..always buy something
Tim Sharpe: The clearance rack is my friend at this place. As a result, it can be a bit hit or miss. If you don't mind paying regular sale prices the selection is great - just a bit expensive.
Lila Lawson: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Mike Paul: I'm standing here, I need help. I'm the only customer in here. No one is asking if I need help. When you walk in, they just stare at you. No hello, no greeting, nothing.
Karen Critchley: Love the styles!!
Edy Hatcher: Decent.
XC Sio: Excellent service, the girls were wonderful and they even took the time to recommend a good place to eat.
Unique Bandelé James: Martin was an awesome point of contact for deciding on wedding attire for a friend's wedding!
Clifton Harper: Nice clothing selections. Good customer service. Reasonable prices.
gehardy0509: I received stellar service at J. Crew today by Sarah! Can’t wait to wear my new jeans!!
Alec Kunkel: I recently visited this J. Crew location after receiving an email advocating a 30% discount on all styles. When mention of this to the women working the retail floor shruged and told me they didn’t honor that sale. Very poor retail experience
Henry Moore: Great staff
Sarah Stewart: Of the Triangle J. Crews, this one has the best window display. Great service, never a wait
Christian Reed: Great customer service, clean store, (believe me not always the case), professional across the board. Special thanks to Beth and Abigail!

The Dancer's Closet: what do users think?
Lynnette Pearce: Very good customer service, enjoyed her smile..she was very happy and nice..u don't see that often!
Cynthia Pimentel-Canario: Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Shana K: Wow, what a find! This place is amazing. The owner was there the day I went and she went above and beyond to help me find what I needed and I needed a lot! I wish we would have found this place a lot sooner! I needed various dance wear and shoes for my daughter's upcoming dance camp and when I left there I came out with every single thing we needed and at a bargain at that! The dance wear & shoes we found were in excellent shape and priced fair. I thought we'd find maybe an outfit or two, but we found so much. They have a great selection. I appreciated how the owner took the time to tell me where to locate particular items in the store because this saved us a lot of time. The customer service was outstanding. The customer service was certainly better than the experiences I had at a few of the Raleigh dance boutiques. The sales associate also was very helpful, friendly and professional. This place is a 45 minute drive for us, but it is absolutely worth it! We now know where to go for all of our dance needs. I highly recommend this shop.
Amanda Webb: This store has ALL your dance needs covered! Located in a nice, quite spot that's not heavy with traffic. They have a huge selection of new and used dance clothes and accessories. Highly recommend!
Elizabeth “Izzy” McDonald: Anna took such amazing care of us! She was so friendly and knowledgeable-- she helped us with shoe fitting, recommendations, and even chatted about local dance studios offering lessons for my preschooler. I am so glad we stopped by
Karen Hart: Great experience! Helpful staff!
Evynn Richardson: We love this place. Been coming for 3-4 years now Always have been helpful with helping us select the right shoes. Great with exchanging gently used shoes for new ones. Sad that this is our last year of dance.
John Hamlin: Friendly staff, good selection, good location
Tammy Jennings: Super nice people. Great customer service 👍
Kimberly Lyle: Great selection & prices plus very helpful
Joneka Hartsfield: Staff didn't have on mask nor enforced customers to. Other than that store was very nice.
Christopher Rivera: If you've got a kiddo who dances this is the place to come. Wide variety of new and used items and the customer service rocks. I travel an hour just to come here with my kids. It's that good.
L. K. M.: Awesome selections and staff is very friendly and helpful!
Teresa Price: The owner and all of the staff are wonderful and knowledgeable!
Inga Massenburg: The Dancer's Closet is a excellent dance store which is wonderful for parents in Eastern Wake County to visit. They have a great variety of dance supplies for everything your child needs it's there in any dance category. Very professional, respectful and helpful staff on the phone and in the store. Best store ever!
Tiffany Weaver: Nice
