The L Apartments: what do users think?
Antino Art: This place is a boheme dream. You wake up daily to a panoramic view of the skyline that rivals downtown's most photographed spots. The staff- from Star in the leasing office (who got replaced and is sorely missed) to the maintenance team- bring the type of warmth that separates a place to live from a place to call home. The neighbors are refreshingly low-key, but kind enough to hold the parking door open for you or say hi if you pass them on the way to the trash chute. The units have refined finishes and floorplans that make intelligent use of the space, with windows wide enough to let the natural lighting and postcard scenery pour in.The hallways are art galleries. You'll find award-winning restaurants, breweries, museums, a chocolate factory, and free live music from the Red Hat ampitheater, all at your doorstep. For necessities, both the Weaver Street Market and the DGX corner store are a few blocks away. The vibe is what sets the L apart. It's a modest simplicity that's hard to find in a growing crowd of ostentious high-rises. There's no resort pool or 20F balconies. Instead, the complex is nothing more than a small lobby and a handful of units, all shaped in the letter L. You won't need any other amenities. Because the rooftop terrace silences all the bells and whistles of the more lavish downtown apartment options. The space is Raleigh's best-kept secret, with string lights, a few lounge chairs, wooden floorboards, and an open-air view of the sunset. It's nothing too fancy. But it's enough to remind you that you are living on top of the world.Throw in the (hopefully still) reasonable rent in a market that's become increasingly inacessible, and the L is a W in my book. Win at life. Live here.
michael moore: I lived at The L almost 4 years now and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing and the staff are always prompt and incredibly helpful with any issues. I've actually lived in two different units and love the layout of both apartments.
Jake Potter: The L is downtown living at its best. The building is much quieter than you'd expect of an apartment complex in the heart of downtown Raleigh. WFH employees and tenants with young children probably appreciate that — my kiddo definitely did.Star and the entire staff are great to work with, know all their residents by name and create a warm, inviting community.Location is essential here, and The L is highly walkable since it straddles the Warehouse District and the Fayetteville Street area. The rooftop deck is a hidden gem — one of my favorite city views in town, and never crowded.
Elizabeth Flack: My husband and I lived in the L Apartment for two years and we loved it! Great location right in the heart of downtown but it’s also a very quiet building! We never heard our neighbors above/below/next door. The only noise is the typical city noise which is expected of living downtown.
Chad Girard: An excellent unit backed by great staff! - I moved into The L in May 2020, during what we thought was the height of COVID. The staff (Star in particular) handled virtual tours, unit information and the contactless move-in process flawlessly. Upon move-in, there were no surprises. The unit was exactly was what advertised, with granite counters and newer, high quality appliances, freshly cleaned. Any maintenance requests I put in where processed with 24 hours. After restrictions started to lift, Whitaker, another of the team members at The L, was great about keeping us informed about the changing landscape and scheduling community events. He also handled my move-out process, and the servic and communication didn't stop even when I turned in my keys.TL;DR: Don't move out of The L unless you are purchasing a home or completely leaving Raleigh. Other apartments (including the one I just moved into) will let you down by comparison.
Tina Wyatt: Whitaker gave us a great tour of The L! He took his time and answered all of our questions. We were very impressed that he greeted every resident he encountered by name during our tour. We highly recommend The L to anyone looking in the Raleigh area.
Brian Carter: I've lived here for over 4 yrs. Great location and friendly staff.
Erika Vickers: I moved into the L about a month ago and have enjoyed every minute living here. Whitaker and Star in the leasing office are very knowledgeable, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Every resident I have met has been very friendly - one of them even going out of their way to tell me my car light had been left on. The building and parking deck are very well taken care of and secure. The walls are virtually sound proof, I have had zero issues with hearing my neighbors. The fixtures in my apartment are updated (granite countertops, vinyl flooring which is so easy to keep clean, + stainless steel appliances). I have a studio and there is room for a couch, my bed, coffee table, and a dresser without being cramped. The bathroom is very spacious with the same updated features. Having such a large kitchen with an island makes the space feel larger and great for entertaining guests. The view of downtown is awesome. You really can't get a better location and space in an apartment. I highly recommend the L to anyone looking for a place in downtown Raleigh.
Leah Gorman: The apartment room itself is nice. I liked being able to open the window on the weekend and enjoy live music from downtown. The amenities are not great though. The gym is small and doesn’t have a treadmill. The electric grills were dirty and didn’t work most of the time. There is no other amenities. My move out process was a nightmare. They charged me for water damage that was documented when I first moved in and they said they were going to send me to collections when they owed ME close to $1000. After months of calling the owners accounting department I finally got a check and it was still short the amount they owed. I left voicemails for a week with no call back and decided to just cash the check before they canceled it and let the money they still owed me go. They also give out gift cards for 5 star reviews.
LeeAnne Hawley: We moved from Chicago to Raleigh about 2.5 years ago. We chose to rent in to the L site-unseen and only recently moved out because we decided to purchase a home. We have loved living in the L because of how quiet, clean, and walkable the location is. The staff at the L apartments is top notch. We have lived in apartments for the last 15 years and the responsiveness of the management and maintenance staff here is the best we have ever experienced. We would highly recommend the L to anyone looking for a location in downtown Raleigh.
David Raus: The L apartments is the place to live in downtown Raleigh.
Phillip Rhinehart: I had a wonderful two years living in The L. It's located in the center of downtown, so you're roughly equidistant from everything. Rent is significantly cheaper here than at other downtown locations, but without managing to sacrifice quality.
John Mitchell: Great apartment, lived here for two years. All appliances worked well, zero bugs being on an interior hallway, and any time a maintenance thing popped up, it was fixed immediately. Very friendly and helpful in the front office.
Megan Flynn: I’ve lived at the L for two years, and it has been an excellent experience. Great location with a lovely sky deck, unit is well soundproofed, and staff are always friendly. I would recommend it to anyone looking to move downtown.
Roger Russell: From 2007 to 2016, I made it a point to move to a different spot every year so that I could really explore NC and find new and exciting places around Raleigh. From 2016 til now, I've stayed at the L Apartments due to its convenient location, great amenities and friendly staff. While other downtown apartment complexes have their perks, the L has a great location near the edge of downtown, thus saving you the hassle of getting out the area whenever events occur. I also enjoy the fact that, while quiet, I can have an apartment where noise isn't an issue due to the heavy walls and enjoy the ambient sounds of the downtown area.Great place to live for your time in downtown Raleigh!
Karima Ekblad: My husband and I have been living here for a little over 6 months now, and we have really enjoyed our stay. The best part of the L apartments is the location and the management. It is such a great spot, so close to tons of restaurants/bars/etc in the warehouse district. The management has been great, very responsive to any issues we have and wonderful to work with. The building is also maintained very well. I live on the 6th floor and love the view of DT from our apartment window, only bested by the view from the rooftop deck. All other residents we have met so far have been respectful and there is good soundproofing so we have not had noise issues which can be a concern with apartments. There is some street noise, especially on weekends (and also some sirens because the Emergency Services is just down the street), but you get used to it.It is a smaller building than some of the bigger complexes and so has less amenities (a very small gym, rooftop deck dining area with small electric grills) than some, but that also keeps it to a more reasonable price point. Also, very pet friendly which is great.Overall highly recommend!! :)
Kieran Moreira: I've been a resident for over two years and I've really enjoy my experiences living in the building. Star & the management team are always friendly and the maintenance team is really quick to respond to any requests. The building is surprisingly really quiet, and very clean. It's a good spot if you enjoy city living and being able to walk anywhere in downtown.
Cooter: Great place to live! I've been here for about a year and a half and love the location and staff.Brian Carter
Brittany Hause: I have lived at the L apartments for over a year. It is a great location and the office staff have always been super helpful and accommodating. The apartment building is always clean and the package concierge bins are really great to know my packages are safely stored until I can pick them up. I never had issues with noise from either apartment to the sides but on occasion I would hear the person above me walking around. As I am used to living in apartments a loud fan worked at night to eliminate the noise from above.
Stephanie Cothren: My husband and I lived at the L for a little over a year. I can't think of one negative thing to say about our experience. The management team and the maintenance team are both amazing. In the leasing office, Star was wonderful to work with, from signing our lease, dealing with day-to-day tenant questions, to moving out, she was always so friendly and personable! And Sean and Brian on the maintenance team are rock stars - so helpful and beyond patient with our nervous 12-year old rescue dog.The location cannot be beat either. You're right next to everything - restaurants, museums, concert venues. I cannot tell you how many fun pre-show and post-show gatherings we got to host thanks to being next door to the Red Hat Ampitheater and the Lincoln Theatre (and for those of you who aren't into music, you could never hear the shows from inside our apartment). The units and common areas themselves are well-maintained and feature a lot of upscale amenities - granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer/dryer, secure exit/entry points. If you're looking for a friendly vibe, a killer location, and a well-maintained home, then the L is what you need!
Christine Lantry: One week in so far. First impressions: maintained beautifully. Building is spotless. Community managers are patient and readily available. Love the rooftop deck for an evening drink after a crazy day.

Link Apartments Glenwood South: what do users think?
Detroit Sunflower: For the price (1 bedroom is about $1,700) the Link is one of the best living options in downtown Raleigh. Here’s the challenges:•The noise level is one of the most significant challenges. The trains are very loud (blasting their horns at every crosswalk) and run late at night and early in the morning, causing daily sleep disruptions.•The dumpsters are located directly outside on the sidewalk.•The resident parking garage has a very limited amount of spots, with no available guest parking (there’s 2 guest spots for the entire building).•The building is across from the 42nd Street restaurant, so there’s loud activity outside every evening.•Dogs have essentially no place to go potty (there’s a tiny dog park, but it has turf and isn’t intended for potty). There’s almost no grass surrounding the building, and the very small spots of grass have broken beer bottles and dog waste in them.•The unit smelled of a very strong chemical for the first several months, even after opening the balcony door for hours each day.•The pool is very small and has frequent closures. Here’s the good stuff:• Good location if you work downtown.• Close to restaurants.• You can walk to a lot of places.• Building is fob access for safety.• Parking garage is gated.• Price is in the less expensive range for downtown.
Caitlin Passaro: RPM Lisa A. at Grubb Properties is the only competent person related to the Link Apartments. All of the other staff members are either flat-out super rude or fake nice until the second you leave the room. Cockroaches galore no matter how many times pesticide comes. The neighboring walls are super thin and the Link staff did not do anything to help when the girl above me would scream all night long at her boyfriend every night. The Link claims they have a courtesy officer available 24/7, but this position does not exist anymore. The pool area is positioned perfectly to be blocked by the building and never have sun on it. Save yourself a million headaches and just don't live here. Definitely not worth the price.
Meg: If you love cockroaches and incompetent staff and don't care about your safety, welcome home!
Chandler Hines: I lived in Link Apartments Glenwood South for 3 years and absolutely loved my experience. The residents, office and maintenance staff were always so kind and helpful. The leasing office staff were always so accommodating, especially Ashely! The location, staff, and amenities are great and I highly recommend living at the Link!
Pam Irvin: As parents of a prospective resident our concern for our daughter's security, convenience, and accommodations were our primary factors in exploring apartment opportunities on behalf of our daughter.....the staff at the Link ( Shayla, Ashley, and Ambar ) were incredibly professional, extremely accommodating, and possessed both the enthusiasm and courtesy in helping facilitate the leasing process....we are all excited about this transition in our daughter's career, and know that the Link will provide an environment compatible with this process.
James “James” Lee: I would NOT recommend living at link. Poorly/weakly constructed building. I have lived here for about 3 months now and have been dealing with multiple issues with my unit.1) random, 30 min plumbing pipes rambling and shaking against your bedroom wall that is loud and vibrating to a point it wakes you up.2) you will hear very loud foot steps of your upstairs neighbor. You will hear wood cracking noise from a wall whenever your upstairs neighbor walks near the weak wall.3) train noise is horrible.
JW: Looking for a new apartment can be overwhelming, and stressful as todays market has too many options. Due to the current pandemic viewing apartments was a little more challenging as most required appointments and stricter touring rules. After calling and scheduling an appointment to view some apartments we were "linked" with Ashley Grady. From the moment we walked in the building this woman had a smile on her face. Even with her awful not so trendy mask covering her pearly whites she spoke clearly , and answered all questions about the community. Even after going back twice to tour again, and ensure it was the right choice she was able to uncover an additional option that exceeded my expectations. Its not every day you have a leasing office listen to wants, and exhaust all resources to deliver. Suddenly just when I was about to sign a lease elsewhere she remembered that someone was soon moving out and their apartment checked all boxes on the wants. Being knowledgeable about who is moving and when is important for future residents to fill their old apartments especially floor plans that do not become available monthly. I would highly recommend touring the Link , and asking for Ashley to get the same great experience I did.
Jared Smith: Working with Ashley was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had while shopping for an apartment. She was so kind, personal and informative. She made me feel at home and welcome. Easiest decision to sign a lease somewhere yet. Can’t wait to move in!!!
Emma Smith: Loved loved loved living here!! I don't know where to begin! I've had such a great experience with the staff, location, and my neighbors. Trisha and Ashley are amazing. I felt as though they really went above and beyond in their jobs and whenever I had questions they got back to me ASAP.Maintenance responds the next day to any problems you might have and always does a great job.My neighbors are really friendly and most importantly the apartment is VERY dog friendly! Almost everyone on my floor owns a dog so if you don't like dogs...you probably shouldn't live here. The bad reviews seemed like they were only from people who didn't read their lease. They do send you information that tells you that you need to give a 60 day notice if you don't plan to renew so read the emails they send you! This should go without saying but after reading the reviews it seems as though that is a foreign concept to some people....But to some it up if you want a great downtown experience then live at the Link!
S Davis: Update: My only complaint was the constant barking from a dog on my floor but it has since been resolved. The residents and staff, especially Ashley Grady, have always been very friendly and helpful. While there are some nuisances when it comes to living in an apartment versus owning your own home, overall this is still a great place to live. Just an FYI, the train on the North side is very loud which is to be expected and you never really get used to it. They were very upfront about this which I appreciate. On the flip side, I also get a ton of light on that side which both my cats (and myself) really enjoy.
Heston Priestley: I posted months ago giving this apartment complex a 5 star review! My roommate and I even personally recommended a friend who moved in (making this complex THOUSANDS of dollars). We moved here right out of college, and thought we hit the jackpot. Since then, we have been vastly overcharged for move out fees (almost a thousand bucks). They will respond to this comment apologizing that I "feel this way" and refer me to a document written by a carpet contractor and claim that they have been communicative (simply just contacting one of our outdated email addresses one time with a bill for like $800). Not all experiences will be equivalent to mine, but if you are new to the cookie cutter downtown apartment experience, make sure you read fine print and then think twice about signing an overpriced 12 month lease. The people that live here are wonderful and experiences obviously vary. The Link no longer has my recommendation, and especially Grubb Properties management.PS. Cornerstone gets old fast but the Roast Grill up the street is fire.Welcome to DT Raleigh!
jess crimmins: Ashley is hands down one of the best when it comes to giving tours of apartments. She is fun, knowledgeable, and takes the stress off of moving. 10/10 would recommend going on a tour and checking out everything Link has to offer.
Ahmed Ehab Elsabbagh: Everything about The Link Apartments Glenwood South speaks excellence. Before I moved in, I worked with Ashley and she had gone above and beyond to make sure I had the best possible experience. Throughout the whole process and after move-in, she has provided me great recommendations and very quickly answered all my questions over email/phone. In addition, she worked so diligently to allow me to move in at a very short notice.1. With the complex being right at the heart of downtown, you are only a few steps away from many of Raleigh's best spots.2. They have an amazing lobby where you could watch TV, work from home, and meet other residents. The free Starbucks coffee in the lobby will sure turn you into an overall happier person.3. Neighbors are really friendly and management organizes a plethora of events to help residents socialize.4. Apartments are clearly new and very well designed so you can take good advantage of every square foot.
D Marrow: Roaches
Anne Knoff: I’ve lived here for 3 years and love the community. The studio is one of the only studios in the triangle that has a divided living and sleeping space. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the location is in a growing area. Love living Link
Norea Harris: Live here b/c the staff TAKE CARE OF YOU! I have lived in several states for my job. I recently moved here from California and I have never had the pleasure of living on a property with such friendly front desk staff and amazing professional maintenance staff. Ashley and Steph take care of you every step of the way- and give you white glove treatement.I cannot say enough about the maintenance staff-Andy and Tre. I have only had to submit two service tickets--for minor issues-little annoyances then anything. The VERY NEXT DAY they were handled. From the time of move in 6 months ago when they gave me a hand moving all my items to everyday seeing them around the property-they are always smiling and wanting to help.I love this apartment complex and the staff that run the Link. Out of the all options in Raleigh--I wanted my home to place and they made it happen. Thank you to Ashley, Seph, and the dudes Andy and Tre. You make Raleigh just as good as California :)
Hughes Burridge: Hard to find good reviews for an apartment building because the negative experiences usually spur comment. Clean building, good floor plans, responsive and super friendly staff, reasonable rent - I plan on sticking around for a while. Recommended.
Natalie Baker: The Link facilities, the apartments themselves, and the location are all great aspects of living at the Link; however, the place does not come without cons. For one, the North St. facing side of the apartment complex is extremely loud with street traffic. I'm sure this is to be expected living in a downtown environment, but I would be remiss to not mention how loud the train is. Don't ever expect to sleep through the night.Pay careful attention to your lease terms. Towards the end of your lease, the office will distribute a lease renewal letter with your (increased) expected rent. The letter will request a confirmation of lease renewal or termination within 30 days of your lease expiry - BUT - in fine print it will also note that you are required to give at least 60 days notice if you are not renewing your lease.Due to personal reasons and life circumstances I was not planning to renew my lease. Rather than having my lease expire, I was charged a full month's rent (instead of prorated rent for my last month) and a week's rent at a higher rate (month-to-month) well into the following month of my lease expiration. I signed a letter giving the Link permission to re-rent my apartment prior to my lease termination as I had evacuated the apartment 1 month prior to my lease ending. The office told me they would advertise the apartment as available after I signed the re-rent agreement; however, they never listed the apartment as available online and continually pushed the 'available date' out until AFTER my higher month-to-month payment would arrive.
Luana Dutra: My experience in Link apartements has been really positive. The staff is always willing to help us and located in a great area. I would definitely recommend Link to everyone!!
Katharina Miles: I cannot say enough good things about this place and the people in the leasing office! It's a fantastic location close enough to the restaurants and social life of Glenwood and Downtown but removed enough to avoid the noise and traffic. The apartments are designed beautifully with a nice modern touch. What set this place apart from other apartments I visited was how light all the units are. I looked at a lot of downtown apartments that were very nice but dark inside despite the big windows. This place gets just the right amount of natural light. After living here for a few months now, the people in the leasing office, especially Gala and Jennifer, are like a second family. They are so friendly and know everyone by name! Additionally, the maintenance crew here is amazing. Whenever I need a lightbulb changed or had a question about an appliance, they get it done that same day! If you come to tour, make sure to ask for Jennifer or Gala!
Tyler Oleski: I've lived here since August 2016 and have nothing but praise for the Link Apartments and staff. The apartments are beautiful and well-designed, the common areas are always pristine, and you can't beat the location - one street back from Glenwood South. But where the Link shines is with its staff - a world-class team that works tirelessly on behalf of the residents! From planning awesome community engagement events to handling administrative concerns, I've only ever had positive experiences with this team.

SkyHouse Raleigh: what do users think?
M C: staff is amazing, cameron, daniel, aubrey, robert and all others are first class professionals.amenities are top rate. appliances are high quality - could barely hear the dishwasher, as opposed to 401 oberlin where it was noisy and had to be cleaned multiple times when i was there. washer and dryer in unit were the large front loading type.rooftop was awesome, views of the city outstanding.only downside was the city noise and lights. i was on the 6th floor, on the south side, so i did experience the city energy, but that's to be expected.no longer live there as i moved out of state, but entire experience was superior.- mike c.
Kristopher Concepcion: Great staff and well built units!
Loren Bullock: The best part of living here is the doormen—especially Robert. He remembers names, recalls faces, and always has the most friendly attitude.
Shellaine Coakley: Amazing apartment community to live in. The unit was very comfortable and the amenities amazing. Let me not get into the view of Downtown Raleigh. Breathtaking is an understatement. The building is just steps away from restaurants and clubs.Service excellence at its best. It all starts with the management team. Lisette is the sweetest. Very warm and welcoming. Gracie who rocks at organizing the best community activities. Sip and paint, game nights, movie nights just to name a few. Seriously make it make sense! The concierge team made me feel like family. Emmanuel, Robert, Alex Carmen just to name a few always taking a moment to converse with me. If I missed your name please forgive me. Tristan thanks for your help on move out day. Shout out to the maintenance crew.I will miss this amazing gem in Downtown Raleigh and will gladly share the memories I made here. As a travel nurse I would recommend this as a great short-term rental option.Thank you for making me feel at home away from home.Shelly
Leigh Samantha: Ungodly expensive. Elevators smell like wet dog and urine. Absolutely not worth the price.
Julian Jacobs: Great place to live! Close to everything in downtown
InFAVORofSTYLE: I have been a resident at Skyhouse for almost 3 years. I have enjoyed my experience thus far and would highly recommend living here. This a great place to call "home". The staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to my needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean. The workout rooms are open 24//7 are rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely.
Sarah Lehman: Good location if you’re looking to live downtown, staff is very friendly, and resident events each month are fun and a great way to meet other people that live here
Jaleel Kuteh: I love it here and you will too! Close to everything, great amenities, and awesome staff.
Zay: I had lived at the complex for awhile and have never had a problem. The maintenance staff is always quick to take care of any issue and the office staff is always very helpful, and not only that the concierge is a great resource and one of my favorite things about the complex, I would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a great place to live.
Zach Bowen: Living at Skyhouse has really been a pleasure. Here are things to look forward to if you are making this place your homeThe staff - if I had to describe them in one word… amazing! The concierge team makes this the most pleasant place to live. Every time I come home I feel like I’m being welcomed by family. The ladies in the office make this a great community as they are always helpful and go above and beyond organizing fun events for the residents. Also the maintenance team is super prompt and super friendly. This building is also constantly being cleaned and it is kept in very good shape which doesn’t go unnoticedThe amenities - let’s just say all my friends only want to hang out at my place lol the rooftop is super chill and a great place to meet neighbors and make friends. Awesome roof deck to grill out and chill by the fire pit. The gym has everything you need and the pool is very nice and well kept. The views from anywhere in the building are beautiful. It’s a really great way to see the cityThe convenience - I basically never drive anywhere. There are so many nice bars and restaurants in walking distance. Skyhouse even helps you discover what’s around by posting places on their social media! There are always events happening in Moore square park across the street or on any of the blocks close by. Also you can DoorDash or Uber eats literally anything to this location lolOverall a great place to live! 10/10 would recommend
Ashley Caples: I absolutely love living in this apartment building! The view from my apartment is simply breathtaking - I never tire of looking out over the city skyline. But that's not the only thing that makes this building special. The SkyDeck is an amazing feature that really sets it apart. With a fire pit, corn hole, and plenty of space to relax and unwind, it's the perfect place to spend time with friends and family or just enjoy some quiet time alone. And the best part is, the views from up there are even better than they are from my apartment! But what really makes this building stand out is how safe I feel here. From the moment I step inside, I know that I'm in a secure environment. The fob key system ensures that only residents and authorized visitors can enter the building, and the fact that you have to scan the key to access specific floors in the elevator provides an extra layer of security. Plus, the staff here is amazing - always friendly and helpful whenever I need anything. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my decision to make this apartment building my home.
SAHAJ MARWAH: I moved here last year from nyc metro and I had never been to Raleigh before in my life. I instantly fell in love with the city and its vibe. Skyhouse Raleigh had a big part to play in that. They were really welcoming and friendly. The building has really nice amenities and amazing views as you can see in the photos haha. I am a big fan of their monthly events like yoga, kickboxing, holiday parties, trivia nights etc and always look forward to them. Highly recommended.
Ryan Bristow: I’ve been living at Skyhouse since September 2022, and I can honestly say Skyhouse is one, if not the BEST apartment complexes Raleigh has to offer. The staff really do care about the residents. The staff goes above and beyond to make the residents feel safe and secure. They are very attentive to detail and are available to address any questions and concerns. The concierges are literally the GOATS! They are always on point and never miss a beat.I’ve lived in other complexes in Raleigh on Glenwood and there has always been a problem with car theft because of a lack of security. Skyhouse has secure parking with closed gating, security cameras, and only resident access on the weekends. I never have to worry about whether I locked my car at night. Not to mention every guest must go through the concierge before being let into the complex. The amenities at the sky house are top-tier! I’m really excited to hit up the rooftop pool this summer. If you have a pet like me, you’re in luck with a friendly dog park all within a short walking distance. If you like to go and have fun, there is literally something to do in every direction. So long story short, if you are new to Raleigh and looking for a place to live this is the place to be!
Rep5590: I moved into Skyhouse Raleigh 3 years ago and it has been my favorite place I’ve lived. The building is in a prime location downtown and has some of the best views in Raleigh. Skyhouse has everything I need with great amenities and it feels convenient to live here. The staff are also very friendly and never fail to make me welcome.
Sabrina Shah: My experience at Skyhouse Raleigh so far has been amazing — my puppy loves it too. The views are unbeatable, there is an incredible gym facility, we do yoga on the skydeck, all the events are super fun. But what really makes Skyhouse so special is the wonderful and friendly staff. They have quickly become my friends, and they are truly the most warm, welcoming and helpful folks. I would 100% recommend Skyhouse. It’s the best option for downtown living ☺️
Corey Jones: “A HOT NEW BOMBSHELL HAS ENTERED THE VILLA!” The bombshell isn't me (others may disagree lol), but it's Skyhouse Raleigh! Being at Skyhouse has been one of the best experiences ever! Located right in heart of Downtown Raleigh, you have so much access to amazing local eateries, state historical sites, cute coffee shops, and we are only a 5 minute drive from the bars on Glenwood (or a 20 min walk for those crazier nights). On top of that, the views from the apartment units are absolutely insane and such a SLAY, which is by far one of my favorite aspects of living here. My roommate and I especially love the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms and living rooms (depending on your unit of course). However, the best aspects of this apartment is for sure the top floor amenities. The gym, the SkyDeck, the Club Room, and the pool are all on the top floor (23 floors above the ground) with mouth-dropping views. Emphasis on the SkyDeck and pool!! Both of them have immaculate views where you can over-look the whole Raleigh skyline. The gym and Club Room are inside, of course, but they also have floor-to-ceiling windows that allow you to look over the city as well. Also, I don’t know if it’s just me, but the walls in this building are pretty thick. I have not had any noise issues which is pretty rare in apartments especially ones located in a city. On top of that, the residents here are all so nice! I have made some pretty great friends which makes this place even better! Lastly, the whole faculty and staff here are so kind and make an effort to get to know the tenants! If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to talk, they are always an open ear which I definitely appreciate. I have lived in many gorgeous apartment in cities such as Miami, Atlanta, and Tampa, but the Skyhouse Apartments in Downtown Raleigh has by far been my favorite place to live. Overall, this place is a 10/10!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! LOVE IT HERE!!!! TOTAL SLAY!
Nick Losh: Skyhouse is a fantastic place to stay! Amenities, property management, the apartments themselves, and overall quality of living is a 5 out of 5 experience. Can’t recommend enough!
Aniya Bradsher: I was a resident here for about a year and a half. All I have to say skyhouse has been 10/10 the best apartment complex I’ve stayed in Raleigh, NC. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful from the ladies in the leasing office, to Justin, Ms. Terry and Robert always taking care of me, to the maintenance crew just being top tier. I have absolutely no complaints. Even when I wanted to renew my lease but due to personal accommodations and preferences in floor plan I decided to move up the street to another high rise. However, to compare the two experiences nothing can touch Kane realty/skyhouse their hospitality is just different which makes your living experience so much greater than all the rest of the apartments in downtown. I am so grateful to have been a resident. Also, the views here are amazing. Truly felt like home. Thanks so much for everything! 🙏🏾Update: I absolutely just could not stay away. I ended up moving back to skyhouse, and I love everything about this place. I finally feel at home and over the moon to see the same exact staff, with a few new faces again. Everyone was so welcoming and my move in was seamless. They accommodated me in every possible way and I am so grateful for every single person that works within the Skyhouse community, your efforts do not go unnoticed. This is hands down the best apartment complex in Raleigh, NC. Skyhouse is 10/10 a place that I would recommend making your home. You will not regret it.
Jeanette Minor: I love skyhouse! It’s a great apartment community and the location is wonderful.
Kylie Johnson: I’ve been here for ~6 months and I love it here! This is the best complex I’ve ever lived in, great amenities & location + the views from the roof are amazing (see photo, it’s not edited at all). I feel safe in this building thanks to the concierge/security and all the employees are super friendly and helpful and give great recommendations. They also plan cool events for residents (like yoga + wine, movie nights, trivia nights, popcorn in the lobby, etc) so you can get to know people in the building.

The Falls Apartments: what do users think?
Terrence jones: As we transition into our new neighborhood and environment it is important to be able to have a peace of mind about every aspect of living, that includes social life, personal and extra curricular activities.  The falls give us all those attributes that we desire!!  We love our apartment, our  Main office and most of all our STAFF that has been* key* and number in the success of our life currently has proven what I consider in all aspect of customer service. " Being in the Hospitality Market" it is important that if you take of your customer, they will take of you!!  This is what the "Falls is to us"The one bed room apartment is definitely a downsize in what we were looking for , the features of the newly renovated apartment with stainless steel finish and the dark cabinets are just a touch of Class Urban look, although we use our kitchen area for a Piano space, its perfect for a kitchen set as well.  Our bedroom is spacious and has several windows for light and plenty for me since I like flowers.. the transition of all of my house plants has been perfect!!The Bathroom is unique with all the finish and more than plenty for all our storage. Our Dog Cookie Loves it as well.. she just barks a little more since we are on the first floor.. we love because our patio is perfect for two and it couldn't get any better.Come live at the Falls its all in what you make it!!!
Brielle: So far I can say The Falls is an excellent community. This was my first time renting an apartment, and they made my first experience welcoming and comfortable. They made sure everything was up to par when I first moved in and if anything was wrong they made sure it got fixed immediately. Every once in a while they will check up on me to make sure I am ok and if I need anything. I’m giving this community 100/10!
MJ B: Apartment was infested with cockroaches. My first night at the apartment roaches came out of nowhere. Contacted management and they said they would called Terminix to treat the apartment. Second and third night same situation. At that point I was over it! Management proclaimed they had no knowledge of apartment having a bug issue. To make a long story short, I end up moving out because there was no way I was going to live in such conditions or have guest come over.Update: They had the nerve to send me a bill for vacancy loss! These people are nuts if they think I will give them another dime for the uninhabitable apartment that I lived in for 3 days! The only person that lost in the situation was me financially not them! Pictures are from 9/14-9/15.
Riley Rose: Very lovely neighborhood, apartnent, and staff!
ASHLEY HOLMES: I have lived here for a few years and do not have any complaints about the property and its staff. They have always been kind and graceful and assisted me with anything I needed. I am going to miss them but my kids are growing up and we're only leaving because we need more space. Honestly, if they had 3-bdrms, I'd stay. : ) I wish all of them well in the future!!
Sumuna Mwimba: I love the location and the quietness of the neighborhood and the residents, the easy access to major highways (I-40, I-540) and the airport and downtown are minutes away. Great shopping centers around with lots of places to eat.
Kristen Gilbert: The leasing staff ( Alexis and Chase)and manager, Sarah, were extremely helpful and friendly. They were readily available to answer any questions. Beautiful property!
Cam Davis: Beautiful neighborhood that’s convenient to everything.
India: I don't recommend moving here! I haven't even moved in yet and already we having issues to start I did the application got approved okay cool! But I had to push my date back by A WEEK So my deposit increased to almost 1700 which I asked if the deposit would increased and was told NO I EVEN HAVE IT IN TEXT MESSAGE all the property manager said was sorry for the misinformation her name is Mariah by the way and the lady who gave me the wrong infor was Tyla.... YEAH IM BLAST YALL CAUSE FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO PLAY WITH
Trinity Gantt: The Falls are great. They’re always quickly responsive to any maintenance requests I may have. Highly recommend.
Love Peace: Does anyone know what electric company this community uses and is it gas or electric ?
Quentesa Pierce: The Falls is a peaceful and friendly community. The apartment complex maintains cleanliness and residents mind their business. Maintenance addressed my requests within the first week of me moving-in after I submitted my move-in checklist. I love the variety and quality of the amenities (playground, tennis court, gym, pool, grills, business center, clubhouse). Things I would change: office hours, clubhouse hours & add an aesthetically appealing gate around the tennis court to keep the geese from pooping on the court.
crisis line2: The falls offers beautiful apartments with tons of nearby shops! I love the vibe I get from this place! Hope to stay for a while!
Sam: Nice floor plans
Carson Kelley: Great leasing agents very informative and personable!
Awes: I wouldn’t recommend staying here! Neighbors are noisy, the flooring/wall is bad, and the management is not approachable. They would act surprised and cold when you raise concerns and deleted my previous review here. Well, I got signals during the leasing process when some shady agent routed me to a site for kickbacks. That whole process very shoddy and distressing personally. Now, the neighbor stomps the floor very bad that it shakes my apartment badly like an earthquake. One afternoon she was dropping heavy stuff on the floor that I decided to talk. She came across as very arrogant and in denial mode and had the audacity to ask me to change the apartment. Ok good luck! Not that the bugs or the smoke from outside didn’t bother me but that’s a different story. (I'm awaiting their generic reply to this review - reach out to us anytime, ha! I reached few times already)
moshe nadav: נחמד
Michael Crawford: I lived here for 12 months in a studio apartment and had a wonderful experience. The leasing team was always very helpful and the one time I made a work order it was completed within one day. Chase was very professional and kind everytime I asked for any help for anything. Will miss the property, I highly recommend it for anyone trying to decide.
Dakota Cabe: Everyone in the office is very friendly. I’m glad to have found an equally convenient place to move into.
Shauna Gaines: Chase in the office is literally the best. I love the water feature and the extra amenities. 10/10.
JOHN JONES: LOVE!!!

Oak City Apartments: what do users think?
Justin Scott: This is a bad place to live. They come up with random charges and new policies without warning their tenants. The office staff are really nasty especially the lady with the glasses. Bugs come in to your apartment through the cracks in the wall
Candace Rodriguez: Haven’t lived here long but so far impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of the grounds. Everything has been addressed properly and the office staff goes out of their way to help answer any questions
Ingrid Williams: I have been living in this complex since 2008. I have seen many different faces in the office. By far the fellas that are working there now by far are the best. If something isn’t right or broken the do not hesitate to come and make it right. They also follow up to see if I’m satisfied. The newsletter they send out is very informative and keeps us educated about upcoming events and things that are happening on and around the complex. They send out emails to let us know when there has been crimes happening and how to prevent being a victim. I’m very satisfied and comfortable living at Oak City. This is a very beautiful place to live. Good job fellas. Keep up the good work. 👍🏽👍🏽 ⬆️
ShaKiara McLean: I have been at Oak City apartments since 2016! They have the friendliest staff! Always a call away. Chris is amazing! He goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfortablility of the tenants! Maintenance is always there when you need them! This place is extremely pet friendly as well!!!
Barry Ward: Oak City Apartments is a nice place to live. One of the best parts is that it doesn't take long for maintenance to come to your apartment and fix whatever problem you may have. The staff is very friendly.
Treascia Amedee: Mini city shopping center next door high traffic area
Saleh Allatif: Do NOT move here, they will scam you out of your security deposit. I lived here for a year and couldn't stand the neighborhood, people knocking on the door at night, car break ins, people stealing packages, and just overall uncomfortable living space. If you love roaches then this is the place. Upon move out I requested a walk through and wasn't given one. They avoided my phonecalls and now are keeping $1200 security deposit for "carpet depreciation" even though I left it 99% clean. There was literally one spot by the entrance that is impossible to avoid keeping clean because the carpet is literally at the entrance. Scammers, scammers, do not come here.
EDDY CASTRO: Si estas buscando departamento.! Esta es una buena opción y ubicación
Chloe E: Just finished the touring, application and leasing process - Everyone in the office was super helpful and very communicative the whole time. Any (minor) issues that came up they were quick to address and answered any questions I had while staying true to their word. Impressed and excited to move in!
Jamie Chuman: Lived here about 10 years ago when it was North timbers. Management was really not nice and then they tried to keep my deposit. Called the corporate office and got my deposit back and the manager was fired but very Mexican influenced. Very overpriced as I paid $500 so it's almost double the right now wow!
david white: Whatever you do, do NOT get a 1st floor apartment at this complex, when it rains the carpet gets soaking wet and they have not solved the problem, also take pictures of everything, especially the carpet moving in and out, they will subtract from your deposit and make up things that they say was wrong, also learn from me,schedule a move in and move out wallk thru with the office, DO NOT TRUST THEM without documentation.
Nifemi Adio: I don't know if anything just changed in the organisation or what, but I'm noticing a more friendly staff. Most importantly, they have been VERY proactive of late. Thanks for all you do.
sanjayaan thayaharan: 5 stars for community manager Chris. He was very courteous and understanding of the situation.
Werdah Abukhdeir: The apartment manager Chris is the man! We expressed a concern and he called back immediately and addressed the problem and found ways to mitigate the situation. Absolute professionalism.
taylor walker: I’ve lived at Oak City Apartments for 3 years, and have loved my stay. I’m only moving elsewhere for something bigger/to get away from Capital Blvd, otherwise I would stay in a heart beat. The staff is wonderful, especially Chris, he’s very kind and helped me when I was in a sticky situation. Maintenance is super quick, like handled with in 12-24 hours quick. Very satisfied with these past few years!
Jay.: Beware of misleading information the staffing people give. Specifically ALICIA POINTDICKHEAD. I applied here and already I could tell they wanted to give me a hard time. As far as the income verification she gave me a hard way to go being rude and combative. Trying to get my income verified was like pulling teeth. I have 2 jobs and make 3x the income. My newest job being Amazon just starting 7/15 I did not have paystubs yet. But I did have a document from amazon stating how many hours I worked a week, what my annual was and everything about my income. SHE WOULD NOT ACCEPT IT. So if you think about applying here DONT and you just started they will not care. Please dont waste time or money.
Shantael Maynor: This is by far one of the greatest communities I’ve lived in and that’s why this has been such a hard decision to move. Because I’m getting married in a month, The decision hasn’t been on my own. This was my first community in North Carolina and will always hold some of my fondest memories. I will always recommend you to anyone looking for a great place to live! The respect and consideration that I have received has far exceeded my expectations. They all deserve a promotion! Thank you for as safe and clean living environment!
Sally Allen: I’ve live at oak city Apartment, over a year now and it a nice place. Everything you need is close by, conveniently located next to capital boulevard. Because of that it can get pretty loud at times due to police siren, and vehicles in general. Everyone mostly keep to they self, which is fine. But still have to be careful of those that up to no good. Cause Capital is full of crime. The leasing office people are friendly, they try their best to assist you. But maintenance can be slow, very slow. It took them 3 to 5 months working on the staircase. That was an inconvenience, and still didn’t look like anything was done? Recently, my patio ceiling is slowly falling after about a month goes by since I addressed the issue. Someone comes from maintenance and do a quick patch. Looks much better! Then few days later someone else comes and almost undue what the other guy did and leave, haven’t seen him since. He left the screws laying around. This guy mess it up. I don’t believe he knew what he was doing? There is a pest problem also once the temperature get warm. Wasps become the big problem, although there’s the occasional cockroaches and spiders around. It also a pet friendly place. You can have a pet living here with you, although it can be pretty expensive. Towards your rent. If you can afford it. There is a lot of work that needs to be done around the apartment complex, they have nice high ceilings on the 3rd floor. Though it popcorn ceiling and walls, it very outdated. The appliances and cabinets are also outdated. It has a 90s or early look to it.Overall, it not a bad place, it just needs more work for the price they’re offering.New update: When you move out you get charge fees that happened as normal wear and tear, with other hidden fees. You also get charge when they come and fix something that wasn’t fault of your own. Just an old building falling apart, when you live there. Bye-bye deposit! renting is a scam for the tenants. It best to buy your home unfortunately, or that could be a great thing if you have the money and good enough credit?
Kristen Sealey: I have to say for my multiple experiences with different apartment complexes. This is by far the best experience I’ve had so far. They are understanding, and yuck to respond, and patient. I shouldRecommend them to anyone.
Christian Jackson: I lived here for a year and a half and had a great experience. Staff was always helpful and maintenance fixed every issue I ever had within 24 hours, and most of the time addressed the issue on the same day.
Linda Levine: I wish I could still recommend the property. I can’t. What they did to my mother and I is wrong. They tried to take the majority of our deposits for damage that was no true. We believe it was in retaliation for us using the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to end our leases early. We were very good tenants. We put up with so much during the time living there and only asked to be treated fairly. When I moved in, my apartment had so many things wrong and more continued to develop. At first, the management was better and seemed to care. The new manager does not do what he says and seems fine with treating people unfairly. For instance, when I moved in there were so many problems that should have been fixed. I had two sinks that leaked, most electrical outlets were not working right, I had to request an exterminator, the washer did not work right and the front door was not working right. Cosmetically, there were also a lot of issues like the ceiling showing obvious repairs from water leaks and they tried to use popcorn paint on the walls and ceilings to try to hide just how bad it looked. The mailbox is in such poor repair that mail thefts occur as well but they won’t replace it.This year alone, the living ceiling developed a huge crack that had to be repaired. In addition, their maintenance employee made a mess upstairs and flooded one of my bathrooms. It took days of large loud fans and repairs to get access again. There were no apologies for the damage and inconvenience. Even my simple request to at least have a fan with a light that worked well in the living room was ignored after promising they were replace it.My mother had it even worse when she moved into the apartment next to me. The buildings are 30 years old and they have not maintained them that well so she had a major leak in her living room that occurred every time it rained. It ruined her furniture and caused her a lot of inconvenience for many weeks until they finally got someone to fix the issue to the building. They refused to compensate her for her damaged furniture caused by their building. The refrigerator they gave her at first reeked of seafood spoilage and was noticeable as soon as you entered the apartment. Fortunately, the assistant manager was willing to help. He got maintenance to take it out but their usually policy is not to provide assistance for issues that they don’t deem emergencies over the weekend. Her patio looked like it was full of green mold. They told her it was algae and said she would have to wait until spring for them to clean it when they did the buildings. It never happened. They don’t have any security and the neighborhood has some issues. It was not unusual to have people wandering the complex knocking on doors late in the evening as well as on weekends. My mother was scared. There were also people in the parking lot using drugs. Others reported that packages were being stolen and they also saw drug use on the community boards and management never responded publicly. If you are looking for an apartment, look elsewhere. If you are already a resident, be careful. When you leave, make sure you take videos and photos and do the walk thru with them. They are accusing us of all kinds of damage. I believe this was aimed at us for leaving early with no financial penalty but I don’t know that they won’t do it to others. They have lost a lot of residents recently and have others that are struggling with the rent.

The Edison Lofts Apartments: what do users think?
Jill Castro: I don't usually write reviews but after having the most pleasant interaction with Kathleen at Edison Loft I just knew it had to be done. She was very kind and patient with all the questions I had. She was also very knowledgeable of the RTP area which is very important for a leasing agent to know. The apartments are also beautiful and in a great location. I'm very excited to possibly move to the downtown area of Raleigh. Thanks again Kathleen for all of your help!!
Bee G: Toured with Kathleen and she was amazing. Super personable and thorough! I just started my search, but the Edison Lofts are at the top of my list so far because of her.
Anumita Bajpai: I have been living here for the past two years and could not recommend the place more! The staff is very helpful and easy to talk to (esp. Kathleen Smiley). The building also does a good job putting on events each month. Overall for the price and the location it is worth it!
Katherine Doherty: could not recommend this place enough. maintenance is so fast and helpful and the rest of the staff is great. great location and great apartments!
Sharece Willcoxon: I love living here! My sister and I talk frequently about how much we love this place. It's safe, relatively upscale, clean, and they have all sorts of fun things going on for their residents year-round. I have absolutely no complains; the staff is amazing and their attention to maintenance issues is almost immediate. Love love love it here.
Cecilia Wong: Kathleen was a great tour guide. The gym is stellar
Sarah Moore: I lived here for 15 months and had a great experience! The location is unbeatable - there are always events happening at Moore Square and you're a 25' walk to Glenwood. It's also right above a DGX, which is so insanely convenient. So nice to be able to just run down and grab anything if I had forgotten something in my groceries. It's also above a very cute coffee shop/bar, gelato place, and Domino's. Sosta across the street and Element a few blocks down are both excellent. Lots of really good stuff in close walking distance: restaurants, an express library, pharmacies, etc. You'll probably want to drive to groceries, but you could arguably walk or bus to the Publix nearby. You could feasibly get by without a car if you work downtown. The apartments themselves were pretty nice - I lived in a 1 bedroom that was small, but the space was intelligently used. The finishes are pretty cute and we liked the appliances. The building is relatively quiet - you can hear the typical apartment noises (steps above you if they're heavy, conversations in the hallways if they're loud) but nothing crazy.Amenities were great - valet trash, pool, nice common spaces, package lockers. Sometimes you have to pick up packages in the office when the lockers fill up, but that's pretty easy and they'll usually notify you. They also only let you put your trash bin out from around 6pm-9am, which helps keep the hallways neat and generally keeps people from just leaving their trash outside. Maintenance is also very fast; I've had maintenance requests filled within a few hours of submitting them. The folks in the office are nice and there's always some sort of resident event going on. The pool is fun in the summer - busy enough to meet people but not so busy that you can't find a chair to lay out. My renewal offer was also EXTREMELY reasonable given the current market. Would've happily renewed my lease if I wasn't moving cities.
Elena Note: Living here was one of the most uncomfortable experience in my life, a Latino guy that works in maintenance always was rude to me and my my family every time he needed to get something done in our apartment. The place is awesome, the location and everything. But the staff is horrible for may reasons that I can’t even comment here because is embarrassing. They invite all residents to they’re get together at sir Walter but when you get there the staff say they don’t have any more tickets for the free drinks they’ve already offer to all residents when I noticed all member of the staff and non residents which I suppose are friends/family of the staff drinking and having fun with the drinks that were supposed to be for the residents. I don’t mind paying for my own drink but is very uncomfortable when you ask for tickets and they tell you “we don’t have any more”. I will recommend if you’re looking for apartments in DTR stay way from Edison, until they don’t fix this issue with their workers, for the price that you pay you should have a better service.
Jay Kumar: I have lived in this apartment complex for almost 2 years. The location of the apartment is beyond fantastic. There is almost everything you would need either walking distance or just a few min drive at most. The apartment manager is young, cool and actually cares about her job... and because of that the rest of the office staff is also awesome.Other apartment buildings nearby are great too but the reason I chose Edison Lofts was due to the floor plans/size to cost ratio. I couldn't justify paying similar or more in rent compared to Edison but get a 2x2 closet or a squished apartment etc.Apartment complex managers set the tone for everyone else and because the manager clearly cares so does everyone else. The maintenance team is great... I do not think I have ever waited more than 24 hours from submitting a maintenance request and what I thought was great was they let me change out the basic thermostat to a Nest Thermostat so I could control my apartment temperature from my phone and they installed it for free!!I have always chosen my apartments "virtually" as I am constantly moving cities... now that I have been here for almost 2 years I can confidently say I would pick this same apartment building once again. Great location, great staff that actually cares, package lockers, fast maintenance, great floor plans that aren't cramped and apartment rent that is actually reasonable. You will not be disappointed by choosing to live here!
Lee Siegfried: Great place to live..Friendly staff, clean environment. Great amenities!...Very pet friendly...Highly recommended...
William F: The apartments are really nice, but the staff is horrible, the ladies at the office are very rude and discriminated people because of their accent and looks the elevators do not function properly and have been damaged for more than 6 moths, they charge trash pick up and it’s only five days a week and there is not trash Shute and you have to keep trash in you Apartament for two days and many times they don’t take more than 2 bags. I really wants to live here because this is one of the best location in the area but they need to do something about the staff.
Nora Considine: Out of all of the apartments in all of the states that I have lived in, this one is by far my favorite! All of the amenities are always clean and cared for. The maintenance guys are awesome and everyone in the office is super friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves are beautiful and for such a large building, it's pretty quiet! Neighbors are friendly and respectful. Awesome location downtown near multiple bars, resturants and stores!
bhad bhaby fan: My bestie lives their and I went to her to sleep over and it was awasome
Michael Thorburn: Out of all the appartments I have lived in multiple cities this one is the first I really call home. The staff is friendly and helpful. We did have ONE fire alarm go off because of a faulty detector and was resolved quickly. The other one was real due to someone biting food. Anytime you live in an apartment these things happen but at least we know it all works! I have seen some negative reviews regarding this issue. It’s sad that people complain about these issues so much to try and get something out of it from the company. If you have a problem with street noise or firearms you should probably look at living in a house outside to the city.
Ninad Dike: The location is awesome, right in downtown, near the Plaza, near a bunch of restaurants and offices, and close to Moore Square bus station. Street parking is usually always full, but there is a 24x7 public parking in the RedHat building across the road if you're having guests over. The apartments and facilities are great, plus the rent is pretty reasonable. The staff is very helpful; Kristen in particular is always great to talk to. The move-in and move-out processes were very smooth too.The biggest downside of living here is probably that it sets your standards too high, which I realized after I moved to a different city and started looking for apartments. If I had to nitpick, though, I wish they'd have door stoppers on the apartment doors to make it easier to move furniture/boxes.
Alexi Gruber: Perfect location and our apartment is gorgeous. Staff is helpful and friendly, and the dog park is super convenient. I had reservations about renting instead of buying downtown, but the Edison has been a terrific place to live for us.
Douglas Molfetta: The Edison lofts are a wonderful place to live, especially if you are new to the area like I was. The offer beautiful accommodations and foster a warm community that will make you feel at home.
Jonathan Carnes: I have lived at the Edison Lofts in downtown Raleigh for nearly a year now and I love it. The apartment I live in is beautiful and spacious, the community, pool, and other common areas are always clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff has been kind and helpful whenever we've had interactions. The location is perfect for city living. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to live in Raleigh.
Josephine Prince: Love this building and location. Could not have asked for a better place to live in the downtown area. Management is very pleasant and professional. The only matter that kept me from giving this building a 5 star is that lately I've noticed a trend in broken elevators and access controlled doors. Usually they are fixed in a timely manner, but it can be frustrating because it is happening very frequently and repeatedly. Other than that, I am very satisfied with my decision to move here.
Elizabeth O'Connell: Staff is amazing and the building could not be in a better location! This is the only building I looked at before I moved to Raleigh and I have zero regrets!
Austyn Canada: Modern, beautiful apartments in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Surrounded by tons of great restaurants and shops.

Peace Raleigh Apartments: what do users think?
Tony Menachery: I’m a resident. Their towing company towed my guest’s car improperly. Basically the policy they give to guests doesn't align with what they tell the towing company. They aren't holding the towing company accountable and it's costing me money. Wouldn't recommend. If any residents have had similar issues, feel free to reach out to me.
Parker Lowe: Nice place with nice people. Amenities and appliances are top notch all while having Publix just an elevator ride away. A huge shoutout to Kimani for making my move from out of state to Peace Raleigh as seamless as possible!
Jeremiah King: I was on the hunt and looking for the right place that felt right in all respects. As long as I can remember, I wanted to live downtown Raleigh and boy has it changed over the years! Old hardware shop turned into a Irish landmark, my first time I had to defend myself against a dog at Mary Lou's now an awesome outdoor oriented bar space next to where you used to get the 2nd best hot dogs at night because the 1st, The Roasted Grill, closed after the lunch rush. Peace.... That is what I found, Peace Raleigh Apartments on-top of the old Rollin's Cleaners I took my dry cleaning to for years. I was met by Kimani and looked no further. Kimani was gracious and attentive to my desired view and aesthetics I was seeking. The sales experience was a breeze, Kimani ensured every question or perceived issue was dealt with quickly with transparency. He is an amazing ambassador for this amazing Kane building. Now enter the move in experience, not only was Kimani there to make sure I was taken care of, Frank (The Fix it ALL Guy!!) was amazing as well. He ensured we were taken care of in the loading docks and was also very responsive to my needs. Between Frank and Kimani.... I honestly do not know what I would have done without them. Shortly after moving in we had to put down our dog and the staff responded with care and also dropped off a card in our grieving period.I have not rented since I first moved up to Raleigh (910!!), and to be honest, it will be very hard to pull me out of this building now. The spaces are amazing, the attention to detail is 1st class, the view of the "backside of the Raleigh landmark city view" is amazing. Kane has outdone himself yet again with this property. Oh... did I mention you would live on top of a grocery store? I never drive anymore.... LOVE LOVE LOVE.Kimani and Frank, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. God bless you both.
Morgan Boutwell: I am so excited to join the Peace community soon! I can already tell this is going to be a great place to call home and I can’t thank Whitaker Burns enough for helping me get my perfect apartment!
Felix Morton: Kimani was amazing in helping my wife and I better understand the Raleigh area, and determine what we felt would meet our needs. He was extremely patient, gave great recommendations, and answered every question we had about the complex and area. 10/10 recommend working with Kimani if you’re interested in Peace Raleigh Apartments!
Chandler Frazier: When looking for housing options in Raleigh, NC, Whitaker is my go-to Leasing Specialist with Kane Realty. Whitaker took the time out of his day to provide an in-depth tour of Peace Raleigh Apartments when I was lacking an appointment. Whitaker's personality never fails to shine and he clearly takes pride in his work. His enthusiasm for his profession, paired with fantastic properties, makes it an easy sell to year-over-year. Thanks Whitaker!
chris thomas: I could not be happier. Whitaker was amazing. I was sold on the walkthrough. Everything has been easy sailing on my move in... Highly recommend.
Robert Dry III: Peace apartments is the best place to live in downtown Raleigh. It is in a great location and has awesome amenities. The leasing team is super responsive and helpful and always go above and beyond to help you. I worked with Kimani when trying to renew my lease here and he responded to my emails almost immediately every single time and answered all questions I had… even after hours. Can’t recommend Peace Apartments enough!
Michelle: Kimani provided a fantastic tour and has been very helpful in the leasing process. He is friendly and knowledgeable, and has provided an overall great experience!
Danielle Pocket: As a new resident, my experience with Peace Apartments has been phenomenal so far. Whitaker Burns offered an energetic and informative tour that sold me on the building almost immediately, and his communication throughout my move was impeccable. I love the building and everyone I have met so far, and have no complaints whatsoever.
Cristy Butler: Whitaker was the perfect host! Loved the property, looking forward to moving soon!
Janet Jackson: Beautiful place! Amenities are out standing! Leasing agent Kimani was outstanding! Very professional with a great personality! He was able to answer all my questions and concerns!
Alexa McMullen: I’m going in to my second leasing term with Peace after moving to Raleigh and I have only great things to say about this property! Kayla and Whitaker are super helpful, kind, and friendly, and the property is always clean and very safe. Highly recommend!
Vibhu Yadav: I have lived here for 2 years. I will list the downsides of living here.1. There was a recent theft of an item. The package was ripped apart and items were stolen. After writing an email to their leadership, I was made aware that the investigation was unsuccessful because the security camera was being blocked by another package. They even suggested that I should use my rental insurance to file a claim. It’s a tiny room for the whole apartment. Be prepared to spend umpteen hours searching for yours. It's a really bad system.2. The elevators smell bad. There is a general lack of sense of cleaning in the building.3.. Not all elevators run all the time. Most of the time only 1 is working on the either side. You will spend a few good minutes everyday waiting for the elevators.4. Lack of a concierge. With the money you are paying to live in a downtown, a concierge is a must. The food delivery folks are always confused how to deliver to your door. And you always have to be on alert when they are here. The address will actually take you to the Publix’s parking garage and confuse everyone.5. There are two separate apps, one is to control the doors and the other to unlock the apartment. You cannot issue a temporary key because you still need the other app first to let someone in first. In my opinion it fails to fulfill the purpose.6. There is a lack of guest parking. People going to Glenwood clubs use our guest parking. There is no system for actual guests to park their vehicles.7. People take the bonnet of their cars under the exit barricade of the resident parking and get it to open and then park in the resident's spots. The garage is unsafe at night.8. No one replies to your emails at the office.9. The apartments adds $750 to $1000 on top of your rent when you do month to month after your lease ends.10. The appliances are old models and not energy efficient. Better appliances are only available on the top floor.
11. The coffee machine is never working when you want to grab a cup12. The trash chute buttons to open and close the chute have not been working for 15 monthsPros1. You have a Publix downstairs. Thats it.This place is just another roof on your head. It's not worth it.
Laura Graziano: I am so excited to move into this cool community! There are two things that sold me on this building: 1.) The gym. THEEEE. GYMMMM. WOW! Actual Crossfit equipment- yay! 2.) Whitaker Burns- he has made me feel included and welcome and I don't move in for another two weeks. He has created all sorts of fun things for the community and has made me super excited to move in!
Steven Alfonso: The whole team is great warm and friendly! Norbeli is my favorite she goes above and beyond to create an amazing experience!
Alfred Galeno: The building is beautiful and kept in good shape. The team here is a pleasure to work with and have the residents best interests in mind! Thanks Norbeli, Whitaker, Kayla and Amanda!
Eugenia: I relocated to Raleigh from Florida which would’ve been a complete disaster without the guidance and attentiveness of Gracie. She accommodated our move-in hours and welcomed us with open arms. All staff we’ve encountered are kind and devoted to keeping the complex in great shape. The building itself is quite nice with wonderful amenities. Their location is walking distance from all restaurants and bars which is a plus!
catty cox: Beautiful. Can not wait to live here!
Benjamin Gromicko: I moved my family of five recently from Boulder Colorado to Raleigh North Carolina. Didn’t know where to go. And when I walked into Peace, we met Gracie. And now we are fully moved in. And every step of the way, Gracie and Norbelli have helped us. And that means so much to me. Couldn’t have done it without her and her help and help from the team. Love everyone else on staff too. Can’t wait for this new adventure.
Alessandra Andrade: My experience living here has been phenomenal! Before I moved here, Norbeli was a great help and now living here for a few months now, ALL the lady’s working here like Gracie and Sue are the sweetest and best! So helpful and positive !

The Lincoln Apartments: what do users think?
Jayashri Padmanabhan: I did not live at the Lincoln, but I toured and seriously considered it as my next home - shout out to Chloe/management for all their help during this process! The building looks great, the staff is helpful and is worth consideration if you're looking to move.
Luke Zerangue: Leasing and Maintenance Team are awesome. The building covers a square block so it’s good size. The maintenance gentleman is super quick and highly skilled.
Jerome Tanner: I’ve live at the Lincoln for 8 months now it’s the best decision I made …..the customer service is the best and I’ve had no issues at all….if you are looking for great location ….great all around customer service downtown life the I recommend the Lincoln 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Erik: I lived at the Lincoln for about 2 years. It is the best renting experience I have ever had. The entire team does anything they can to make your time there comfortable. Meagan Walker (The Property Manager) is extremely professional and very easy to talk to. I appreciate that everyone at the Lincoln genuinely cares and made my time there feel like home.
Courtney Cefalo: Lived at the Lincoln for 2 years and loved every minute of it! Meagan and her staff at the front office are extremely helpful and friendly as well as maintenance being quick and efficient. Great place to live and quiet for being right downtown!
Brian Murphy: I had nothing but a great experience while living at the Lincoln. The amenities in the building along with the location are fantastic. The maintenance staff were always very quick to answer any problems that I had within my unit and the front office staff were always very helpful. The property manager Meagan Walker was especially helpful in my time at the complex. To anyone looking for a place to live in Raleigh with reasonable rent and a great location, I strongly recommend the Lincoln!
Quinn Stearns: Best move-in experience I've ever had. My apartment was spotless. Maintenance has always been really responsive and friendly. The leasing office staff are not only kind, but also very approachable, which I feel is not always the case in a lot of apartments so I really appreciate that. And for the location, the price can not be beat!
Francis Fan: Moving to The Lincoln was by far the best and quickest transition I've ever made. The entire staff has been extremely helpful, and Charity Cannon went above and beyond to meet all of my requirements. It's a lovely place with a wonderful community. I'm delighted to be here.
courtland sawyer: "Amazing complex, Meagan Walker the Property Manager is incredible and accommodating." I would recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for quality and comfortability.
Tiger Kaovilai: Meagan is the best property manager one can ask for. Somehow she noticed me moving my desks between the units here and came to help out.
Ginny Osewalt: Deonna was so helpful and accommodating! She understood our needs and responded to our questions with knowledge and professionalism!
Scarlett Trainor: I love living here! Great location and awesome leasing office employees. The townhome is in perfect shape and they really go above and beyond for their residents!
Matthew Tramel: I lived here from 2019 - 2022. This Lincoln is overall a good place to live if you want to be downtown for a decent price. There are a lot of good bars and restaurants a short walk away from the complex while also being far enough away from downtown to be quiet most days. The amenities are average but useable. I never had any issues working with the office staff when I had questions and the maintenance staff responded to my maintenance requests in a reasonable amount of time. I especially would like to give a shout out to Meagan for being awesome during my moveout. The complaints I have about The Lincoln is that the hallways can be a little dirty from time to time. Also, if you're living on the East Street side, the bar across the street can be loud on weeknights and especially on weekends. There seems to be a group of people who hang out at the bar even after closing time on weeknights, and you can hear them talking up to midnight. But overall I would recommend The Lincoln as a good place to live if you want to enjoy downtown Raleigh.
Cory Hauke: I lived here for almost 3 years. To start with, this is a great location as far as downtown Raleigh is concerned. You are a few blocks from the bars and restaurants downtown, and on a nice evening, walking to Glenwood is doable (though a bit long). Being on the edge of downtown, there are plenty of more residential-type areas to walk through, which is great if you have a dog. There's also a large lot across the street that (for now) is a great place to walk dogs around. The building is nice. It shows a little bit of age in places, though the management was in the process of redecorating/painting/designing the main spaces, so some of that probably isn't so true anymore. It is generally well kept in my opinion. The finishes in the apartments were also very nice and stood up pretty well to three years of me (and later my dog) living there. Absolutely never had an issue finding parking in the garage on the level on which I lived. The office staff is phenomenal. They were always willing to help out however they could, even when I had questions about moving out. They are genuinely nice people and certainly add to the desirability of the building.Couple of downsides I guess? There can be noise at times, especially in the evenings, but the building is in an urban area, so...you kind of have to expect that if you are going to live there. If you are really worried about noise, don't rent an apartment that's courtyard facing, as the noise reverberates around in there. I would wager there is less noise than some of the building right in the downtown. Other thing to note is this is a large building (takes up a whole block), so like any larger apartment building, you are bound to run into the occasional inconsiderate neighbor, though to be fair, I personally didn't have too many issues with this.5 stars, and I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone thinking about living in or near downtown Raleigh.
Molly Marcotte: No enforcement of mask usage in the building during a global pandemic. Selfish residents who don't care about the health of others and can't put a piece of fabric on their face to go down the hall to check the mail or walk the dog. The delta variant can be transmitted in 5 minutes of cumulative, non-consecutive exposure, so those few minutes walking through halls and public spaces a few times a day without a mask potentially spreading the virus really matter. I have seen at least one property manager also not wearing a mask when interacting with residents. I would suggest living somewhere where people actually seem to remember there's a global pandemic happening.
Valerie M: The apartment inside is nice including good water pressure, sizable shower and bathroom. Appliance are GE and new paint and carpets were done when we moved in. The only complaint inside is that you have to keep the windows closed due to bugs coming inside.View is great on the side facing East St, but can be loud early in the morning and late at night due to construction across the road, trash pick up, and bar across the road that has opened since moving in.The amenities, parking lot, package pickup area, hallways and trash area all tend to be dirty. Dirtiness includes roaches found in the hallway that stay there for weeks, messy packages area, and you can be searching in 3-4 different areas for your packages. Elevator on the end of the building to package room is often broken. Also, our neighbor's car was broken into while living here.Rent to apartment also raised by 25% while apartment is undergoing renovations and elevator is broken. Guess that is what you get when you moved into one of the more affordable places in downtown.
Casey Blackman: The Lincoln was amazing! The staff (aka Heather!) Did a fantastic job touring me around the apartments! I can't wait to live here!!!!
Michelle Murphy: I love living at the Lincoln! Great location and very nice units. Guests always comment how nice our apartment is. Amenities are nice, although pool and gym are both a little small and I wish there was a designated dog area. Staff is very friendly, but I will say they are sometimes hard to get in touch with, but of course, this may be due to the Pandemic.
Ram A: Really enjoyed the Lincoln experience! Lived there 2019-20. Just a cool chill vibe. Good nice people. Love the location! Very hip side of town, pretty unique experience. Nice to walk to the Moore/Fayetville areas, East side places. I love Meghan! She is a pro...she is kind and knowledgeable and she goes out of her way to accomodate. You can't go wrong with Meghan- Thank you for the good experience!
Nick Strope: I have lived in the Lincoln Apartments for almost two years now. When I moved to Raleigh, I moved blindly and never got to even look at places. I choose the Lincoln because it was close to Downtown, close(ish) to my work and was a really good price. What I came to love about the place was the amazing community, the wonderful amenities, and they absolutely state of the art property managing team. Kellie, Chelsea and Parker have to be the most down to earth, well liked and most fun group of professionals that I have ever been around. Every day I am so thankful that I get to call the Lincoln Apartments my home. I literally never want to leave it is such a perfect place to live at.
Nick: The Lincoln is a great place to call home. It's within walking distance to the best places downtown, and the office and maintenance staff are always polite and work to ensure residents' needs are met. It has an awesome view of DTR's skyline and the pet spa is hugely convenient. There's an app for opening the parking deck gate and the main entrances for guests (or yourself when you leave your keys in your apartment). I've lived here for almost 4 years and look forward to many more! (Also, there's no extra charge for parking in the deck.)
