SMILE Camp: what do users think?
Jane Miller: The best camp we've ever tried! My young teen went to engine camp and learned so much. They took apart and rebuilt a variety of engines from a weed whacker to a V12. They went above and beyond to make sure the kids learned a lot about the topic and had so much fun. Counselors were knowledgeable and helpful. Activities were educational and engaging. Our child will definitely be returning to try another one of their amazing camps.
Geneva Yourse: This camp was fantastic! When I picked up my 2 kiddos, they didn't want to leave! The different activities were engaging and fun. They have been talking about it all evening.
Josh Darville: This camp is AMAZING! The things you're not told up front is that the kids can come home with what they made that week, and for example the learn to code through Minecraft kids ALL receive a Raspberry Pi already loaded with Minecraft, that's like a $50 value, AND lunch is included. WOW! What a great program, plus they hang out in a safe environment with other kids who are smart looking to learn all kinds of science. Material, Mechanical, Programming, theory, periodic charts, gravity, etc. etc. etc.
Brendan Delaney: A great great camp where kids learn while doing. Hands on and and a fun time!

Arts Together Inc: what do users think?
Benetta Thai: Our daughter LOVED her experience!!@ Camp kept her moving and learning. The staff is soo patient with pickup and drop-off.
Scott Misner: This organization is a terrific asset to our community. The preschool is top-notch, with a diverse, caring staff that strives to provide fun arts programs for the kids. From ceramics to dance to art to afternoon chill and spending time outdoors, every day is unique while getting kids ready for a structured approach to school. A very strong, caring program to prepare your child for kindergarten. Summer camps are terrific, as well. Can't say enough good things about Mr. Phillip and the terrific team of teachers.
julia Vick: Good food and service
Rosalie Bouck: This is a truly magical place. I have two children in this preschool, one in his second year and another in her first. They are very different personalities and both are thriving there. I really can't say enough about how warm, loving, and nurturing the entire staff is, and how much my children have grown creatively and also in their kindergarten readiness. Last year there was some turnover in teachers in my son's classroom (as was happening everywhere) and though there were a few bumpy moments, they handled it with grace and care and managed smooth transitions. A new director started our first year (last year) and has proven to come into his role in an amazing way, guiding the school and also being a constant source of care for the kids. This year my kids both have truly amazing primary teachers, and I am grateful for their relationships with all the honestly wonderful teachers and staff in the school. I am an educator myself (college level) and could truly not feel like my kids were any better hands than they are at Arts Together. This place is a hidden gem that has been operating in the heart of Raleigh for years for a reason.
Cherrelyn Napue: Arts Together is a warm, welcoming place where you can create, collaborate in various forms of art. Open to all ages.
Kyle Zobel: This place has been a part of our family as long as I can remember. We have all enjoyed many classes and recitals and I'm sure it will be a part for many more years
LPat TravelingPack: Fast service, hot food, great experience with this visit.
Antino Art: Ms. Sherri, Ms. Nikki, and the other teachers genuinely love what they do and care about each student. My daughter grew in creativity and confidence during her time here.
Mandy Beaudoin: This is an amazing place! Arts Together encompasses many things! It's a preschool, a Dance School, and a place for people of all ages and skill levels to try art in many forms! The staff make magical experiences for those who attended their programs. Give it a try and experience top notch programs yourself!
Niasha Fray: LIES: " Arts Together is part of a Learning Community of eleven arts organizations that collaborate to advocate for and improve access to the arts for people with disabilities." They were informed that my child has a disability and instead of working to accomodate her they complained about the level and amount of support she needed to participate. They didn't even try to accomodate her and called me to tell me about it at work an hour before dismissal on the first day. This organization doesn't know the first thing about sincere inclusion. I wish I could give it zero stars.
Leila Potter: This place is magical. Our son attended summer camps and preschool there. I've never seen a more talented group of preschool teachers. It's all play based and they teach children how to express themselves in healthy ways. I will always be grateful for their influence on my family.
Rebecca Mayhew: I have had nothing but amazing experiences at Arts Together. Our 5th child will start preschool tomorrow, which will make this our 10th year in Arts Together preschool and I don't believe I've ever seen a teacher have an off day. This will be our 8th year of dance classes as well and the teachers do an incredible job working with both the curriculum and the varying levels of skills and interests of the kids. We've done several adult classes in the past as well, all with great experiences.
Rhakeem Brown: This camp shows favoritism and is not a camp for young boys. If you have a son he will not be participating in a unisex camp. Ok staff and horrible director.

Alexander Family YMCA: what do users think?
Daniel Clayton: I love this place but the weekend hours are atrocious and some of the treadmills sound like they’re falling apart when you’re running on them. Closes at nine during the week when they used to close at 10, which isn’t too big of a deal, but now they close at 5 o’clock on the weekends when they used to close at 8 on Saturday and 6 on Sunday. 12-5 on the weekends is poor. This can’t be the mission to limit working out. Beyond that, what about a safe space for at-risk youth on weekend nights? The basketball court is a safe place when many youth don’t have that in their home or community. This seems counter to the mission of the YMCA.
O D: Hands down the BEST Y!(You should close Sunday and stay open ALL day Saturday)
Fred Ruffin: Facility is great!! However in the men's locker room there appears to be no hot water in the showers. Maybe its me but I was assuming C= cold and H= hot, but nothing happened when I selected Hot. I'll asked at the front desk to see if that can be corrected or it's simply operator's error. But again GREAT FACILITY!!!
Stephen Hulme: I've been a member of this Y for 30+ years. It's sad to see it going down hill. It used to be a friendly, welcoming place with great facilities and knowledgeable, helpful staff. It's not friendly, the facilities have problems, and the staff is not knowledgeable.Today, there's no hot water because the hot water and HVAC systems are being replaced. This outage started on April 17 and will last at least until April 26. I don't buy the idea that this will be an "improvement": last month it was the steam room in the men's health center that was broken. There's no permanent tenant in the coffee shop facility since the pandemic. I had a major problem recovering the combination to my locker. The list of issues goes on and on. This used to be the flagship YMCA of the Triangle. It's very disappointing to see such a fine facility in such decline.
james sigmon: Towel services has stopped due to water heater being replaced, no message went out to anyone and finding this out when u get tere was not good.
Karen Stevens: Front desk staff are absolutely wonderful- thanks Hannah! Everyone is warm and welcoming. Great selection of fitness classes. Can be crowded / noisy on weekends with basketball games etc. but what a wonderful contribution to our community.
Denise Scott: This Y is busy, but still enough room for everyone
Lyssa DeLeon: Incredibly rude staff. Had to file paperwork 3 separate occasions just to sign up for a membership. No one followed up, apologized, or did anything to make it right. Save yourself time and go to a different gym.
Drew Magill: As a traveling triathlete it’s great to find another well equipped ymca. This one is extensive with multiple floors. The indoor pool is 25 yards and about 85F. There are a number of stationary bikes around that measure power and will upload your workout to stava through a secondary app. I was not able to connect it to Zwift but it might be possible. The staff here is super friendly and helpful.
Keshia C.: It's a nice place to work out, but parking is outrageous. Took 20 mins to find parking.
T. Instructor: It's a great gym, love going here. The only downside, it is really crowded
Safaa Hamid: Very nice place
Kenneth Smith: Nice
Bryan Rawls: Friendly staff, ample equipment!
Patricia Jordan: I needed that class..lol
Camp H.: For whatever reason this is the only YMCA in the Raleigh area that is incapable of posting their actual hours of operation. Very frustrating to spend 15 minutes driving over only to find them closed.
Julia Nassar-McMillan: I’ve gone to this Y for years now and I love everything about it—the staff, the facility, location, etc. ONLY thing I would change would be for it to be open longer on weekends:)
Demetrius Brown: My kids loved the summer program here and the exercise equipment is very good
Demery Squalls (Demery Bryant): Plenty of amenities.
Adam S: I love this facility.
Luis Marcano: Great Y, overall they have great accommodations and the gym has everything you need, you have to work out the times that works best for you because at times it gets crowded so be aware of that, but nothing out of the ordinary compared to other gyms. I love the indoor pool. The staff is always friendly and super helpful!!! I'm glad to be part of this Y!!!

Southeast Raleigh YMCA: what do users think?
Kayla Clay: Staff is amazing. Gym is always clean!
Gabriel Muñoz: Never felt more discriminated in my whole life than at the southeast YMCA
AURELIO LOPEZ: Muy bien
KL PJ: Byron, Tracie P. and Kim are the absolute best instructors. I have been following them for years and they make you want to dance and work out because of their positive energy.
Keshia C.: Great place, family-oriented, clean environment, and has good customer service. Highly recommend this location.
LaDonna High: Great place to work and great atmosphere and people
Leon Brown: Small but clean
Ipek Ozay: New building, very clean and sanitized well, unlimited things to do,inside/outside walking tracks and more.. I love it.
Frank j. Ortiz: "As a senior citizen this YMCA treats the elderly person with respect, starting with a good morning!"
Kris Smith: Every time I go, the place is packed. They need to have the kids zone available in the morning.
Sherry Burden: I really enjoyed the music, the vendors were friendly and knowledgeable about there products. I even got to network with many of the women entrepreneurs and farmers. The DJ played a great variety of music too. It was hot but it felt good supporting my community of black farmers and entrepreneurs.
Tristin Staten: Front desk staff is always helpful, gym staff and trainers are concerned for everyone and not just their 1 client. Love the diversity. Great experience every time I go.
AROD: Loved the outdoor swimming pool. Family had a blast!
Twan Morris: Front desk was so dismissive and rude. Couldn't help but notice that there were 0 p.o.c. at this pool. Front desk staff made me and my family feel unwelcome per usual
Camp H.: Put ur hours online
Samantha Bishop: I really like this YMCA! All the staff are super friendly and the facility is super clean and very up to date. All the gym equipment is clean, new, and super nice, and there is also a basketball court inside. The pool is our favorite part. There are 2 pools in the outdoor area. One is a splash/kiddie pool the starts as fountains and slowly goes out to 4 feet. The other is a normal pool that usually has a few lanes dedicated to swimming laps it has a nice deep end that I think is 8 feet and the 4 foot shallow end. The normal pool also has a nice slide that the kids can use as well. My kids really love this place. They also tend to teach some workout classes outside in the playground/ soccer feild areas.
Anna Bailey: I love the intimacy of the gym. The pool area is very cool. The natural light from the tall windows allows creates a great ambiance for working out.
G V Debnam: Hip hop step & Zumba back 2 back. I'm toast. But it feels good. Enjoy meeting new people. Join me.
Jaye Chavis: Very clean! New equipment and the folks are very nice and helpful
Adam Vinglas: I have to say the cycle classes are fantastic here, the gym facility is very nice as well with free weights, racks, benches, and your normal gym machines. They also have a small track above the basketball gym. I haven't tried the pool, and I'm going to try out the TRX class tomorrow.
Eric Townsend: Beautiful place! Right on the greenway and amazing facilities.

Pro 3:5 Sports Academy: what do users think?
Jennifer Wooten: My 7 year old has attended 2 birthday parties here and loved it. With that being said, a friend asked if he would like to join him at camp for a week over track-out so he did. He has LOVED every second of it. This is the only place or thing that has ever tired him out. This will be a must do again next Summer over track-out!
Oak Miller: Cool staff
Tech Guru: Great place for basketball training. Staff is always pleasant & easy to work with. Facilities are always clean. It's also a great place for parties as well. Highly recommend!!!
Curtis Young: Staff and faculty was great!!!!
Casey Petersen: My son attended a track out camp here recently and LOVED it. He begged to stay late everyday, and we are already planning to come next time. He had a blast, the staff and coaches were great. We will be back. A lot.
Drew Bullington: Our 9 year old son always requests pro 3:5 for camp. Very nice facility and kind and helpful staff! He always comes home happy and worn out.
Jeff Cooper: Super nice place
Heather Kennedy: We had my son’s birthday party here today!!! It was amazing. The staff was so nice. They were organized with the games and patient with the kids. They had everything set up when we arrived, passed out the food, cut the cake and everything. It was amazing. It was clean and everyone had a blast. The value was also good. I couldn’t do a party at home for cheaper. Will def. be back. Thanks for such a great time!
Christopher Moody: Great training ring spot... Great staff! HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
Verrell Haywood: Nice clean place to workout!
Bryan Claudio: Great facility. Great staff. Chad knows his stuff.
John Hagerty: Great facility and the owners are the best!!
Kristen Montessori: Wonderful place with amazing staff.
Scott Arkin: We had a big evening party for our son at Pro 3:5 with over 60 kids and it turned out amazing! The staff there are awesome -- from the initial booking, setup and all the activities, they know what they're doing! They had the kids playing almost non-stop -- we heard from some parents the next day that their kids slept past 9am which was unheard of lol. The facility is great for parties, the activities were well organized (they came up with a bunch of different games) and the staff members were super friendly and helpful -- of course the owners are fantastic too and were there helping alongside their staff!. Thanks for a great party!
Whitney Hinton: My son loves Pro 3:5 Sports. He is always excited to go and is exhausted when he comes home (win)! It’s a great camp. I like the daily options so I don’t have to pay for a whole week if not necessary. It’s a nice facility and the staff is great. Highly recommended.
Corey Bennett: Great Facility⚾️⚾️⚾️
Crystal Lefoy: Pro 3:5 is a facility where coaches can lease space for a certain time period for their practices. This space is great if your sport only has maybe 20 participants, but after that it gets rather cramped since the space is sectioned off into quarters. Unfortunately the spaces have no sound barrier so you can hear everything each section is doing such as dribbling, whistle blowing, stomping, etc. All in all this place is a great way to reduce the cost of having your own facility.
Sam Murray: I thought I was super fun but after the owners left some of the camp leaders started to get very mean like we were playing soccer and this one kid punched me in the eye and elbowed me in the gut in front of the meanest coach, coach Patrick and he did not say a thing but when I hit my friend with a pool noodle they made me sit in the lobby for almost an hour by myself and that’s not even the worst.but with friends it made it more bearable so if you go you should either make friends as soon as you get there or bring some but be prepared to be yelled at
Leslie Ashford: Pro 3:5 Sports is absolutely great! The team, especially Chad, not only have a great sports camp, but great customer service. Thank you, Pro 3:5!
Xavien Bonilla “Xgmann”: I was a student there and they spend every time with everyone. Staff is very nice and play different sports. From Xavien Bonilla
Jason Butterworth: One child enjoys the active track out camps. The other is loving the baseball/athlete classes. Not to mention the awesome birthday party. A great place with great ownership!

The Crafts Center at North Carolina State University: what do users think?
Marcelle Kennedy France: One of my favorite places on campus! The instructors and staff are so friendly and very talented!
Julia Russell: I read the comment by d d and felt I need to leave a review of my own. I have taken multiple classes here and I am currently enrolled in the wheel throwing class. My last class was photography, right after they reopened from the pandemic lockdown it was great!! Hands on expertise, homework challenges, and love shoots with you classmates. My photography improved and the instructor even took time to review and offer helpful feedback to each of us in the class setting. I am waiting to catch the follow-up photography class. Most of their classes fill up fast (for a reason). I think the craft center is putting out the same (if not more) quality educational experiences as they always have…I highly recommend you try it!
Linda Garner: Great classes
Holly Sullenger: One of the best places for artisans and aspiring artisans. Great art shows!
d d: Things have changed here and not for the better. Also I see one of the reviewers who mentions the photo classes and how great they are...is THE person employed by the craft center to teach the photo classes. That is not right.
Adam S: I joined as an Alumni and love the facilities. Just like it was when I was in college except newer equipment and new faces. Lots of good creative energy at this sharespace!
Dara McGinn: This was one of my favorite places in college and afterwards for a quick class on how to. The pottery classes were especially therapeutic and the sense of community is amazing. The best part is if you take a class, you can use the studio for the entire semester which is amazing to have somewhere to unwind after work for $50-100 a semester. Complete bargain and a wide range of ages. You can drop by one of the gallery exhibits or their annual artists sale where the members put pieces they've made up for sale.

City Ballet Raleigh: what do users think?
Cecelia Schneider: My kids practically lived at City Ballet for years. My daughter started dancing here at 3 and stayed all the way through high school graduation. City Ballet instilled such a love of ballet that both my kids continued to dance after high school. The annual Nutcracker production gave them the opportunity to feel like they were part of a professional show. It even inspired my daughter to pursue a career in the performing arts.
Avis HatcherPuzzo: Dance teachers are brilliant! Students LOVE them, best in the state, they say!
Willie Hinton: I've been on faculty at City Ballet for years. The talent I've seen nurtured by the incredible staff is a true testiment of the love and dedication they/ we have for our students.
Brittany Mora: This studio is unlike any other studio in Raleigh. Every student is valued and the owner has a true desire to share the best technical practices with all students. Staff are highly qualified and the focus is on dance scholarship and instruction for all rather than competition.
Emily Simpson Sabol: After initially finding this ballet school for my daughter I enrolled myself in their Adult Ballet class in the summer of '21, and I have loved every minute of it. The teachers have all been wonderful, supportive and encouraging, but I can't say enough about how awesome of a teacher Lynne is. She brings a level of joy to each class, not just for ballet but for music and body awareness. Her classes are fun and challenging in the best way. If you're an adult who has been thinking of putting on that leotard again or even if you've never danced before, consider giving this class a try!
gloria hinton: Great place
Meredith Cash: I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with City Ballet so far. Our daughter takes a ballet class in the preschool dance program. The teachers are amazing with her and the rest of the children. I love that there is a perfect balance of technique and fun for her age. I am excited to see our daughter grow into a skilled dancer here.
Diana Hogg: My daughter switched to City Ballet in August 2019 and it has been a wonderful experience for her. Interaction with teachers and fellow students was more than we could have hoped for. The teachers give attention to every student, with a lot of energy and encouragement. Their commitment to meeting each dancer where they are, and giving them the tools to grow, has been a breath of fresh air. During the COVID-19 pandemic, City Ballet went above and beyond to stay in contact with families and offer a large selection of classes. Having the ability to dance, even virtually from home, was so important to my daughter's mental health during that time. We cannot thank City Ballet teachers and staff enough for the confidence and joy they have inspired in our girl!
Jane Okafor: The place is so wonderful my daughter enjoys and they have great service.
Kim Tosch: Great food and service!
Jammer Joez: Daughter loved her time here!
Kelly Ojeda: This is our 10th year at City Ballet and we have been pleased with every aspect of the studio. The instruction is exceptional, the quality of the performances is top-notch (from costume design to professional choreography), and just the overall organization is well run. We appreciate all the time, commitment, and hard work that is dedicated to make each dancer their best!
Lisa Harris: My 10-year-old has taken ballet at City Ballet for nearly two years. She adores her instructor and was welcomed by the girls in her class. She attends class two times per week, and each time, looks forward to hearing the music and dancing. I recommend City Ballet, because it provides young people a chance to exercise, learn to dance in a professional and supportive environment, build their confidence, learn to appreciate the arts, and have fun.

YMCA of the Triangle Corporate Offices: what do users think?
James Richmond: Tried to cancel my membership was told they needed 2 weeks found out they needed 2 weeks so they could charge me for another month
Stephanie Saville: We used the weekly after school program for my son for the 2021-2022 school year and were able to sign him up for a day here and there as we needed it. For our family, it was a better fit than paying for the annual option. I went to sign him up for the same program for this 2022-2023 school year, and was not able to just do 1 day, which is sometimes all that we need. I went ahead and decided to sign him up for 2 days because he loves attending the program. I went to checkout and the price had more than doubled from what 2 days cost us last year.ZERO communication had been sent out about the new 2 day minimum and the price increase. I understand a price increase per day, however requiring 2 days per week is unacceptable. If there are no spots open because I'm trying to get childcare for one afternoon, then that should fall on me. I shouldn't be told I HAVE TO sign up for 2 days.It states on the website that the cost per week for a participant is $83. If that's divided by 5 days, that's roughly $16 dollars/day. However, if you sign up for the required 2 days on the site, you're charged $54. This is because they increase the price for each additional day now and there is a deposit that needs to be paid each week you sign up. Even if you sign up for multiple weeks at a time, they still charge you a deposit for each week. Very disappointed in this program and the Y in general. I had debated on signing my son up for summer camps with them, but my money will now go to a different program.
Marshall Troublefield: I want to say a many thanks to Pam and the YMCA for assisting me with my first placements in my recruiter role. Pam is a breath of fresh air to work with. Thank you for keeping our candidates working. Thank you for exemplifying the core values of the YMCA to our company and candidates. YOU ROCK!
Danielle Steele: My daughter is in after school care in which she could not attend due to being unexpectedly hospitalized. When I reached out about assistance I was told that they would not switch weeks for care due to policy that does not mention hospitalization specifically. As a organization that is supposed to be for the community seems more about the profit than helping a family in need.
Melondy Graves: I don't like how the Y makes you pay for an entire membership. My time is as such that I could still come to the water aerobics class like I used to. I don't want to pay a full membership for just one class. It used to be where you could purchase a punch card, go to the class, get in the steam room afterwards. AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!!!I want the powers-that-be to really consider having "a la carte" services.I have two more people in my community who wants this as well and I am sure there are more.We are near the Danville Virginia YMCA.
CPR Skits: The hours are terrible especially if u play basketball. It’s a Saturday and they have no gym time 🤦🏾‍♂️ That’s terrible. And on Sunday they open at 1 and close early. Just get a lifetime membership.they put volleyball and jump rope over basketball 😭😂.
Rob & Pam James: I've been trying to get hold of Customer Service to find out why my membership went up without any kind of notice.I called the coporate office number and was told all customer service people are busy and to push 2 to leave a message in the general maibox for customer service. Well, Triangle YMCA your mailbox is full. Wonder how long it has been full???
Jamison Ryon: It’s a fine place. Good to have multiple locations and plenty of equipment. The fact they adhere to the mask mandates in the area is a joke…they have lost their backbone in my opinion and are more concerned with not ruffling feathers than they are following the science.
John Smith: Called to ask for help and they just kind of dismissed my question, put me on hold and transferred me, then the call was disconnected. Called back and they did the same thing again.
Saurav “Sam” Malla: Awesome
jennifer cunningham: Had 3 unpleasant experiences at A.E Finley with 70 year old men being bullys. First was the horrible conversation allowed at fitness tables full of hate for others that are different. Then one brushed up against me because he didn’t like my pace on the indoor track. The counselor said, “he didn’t mean it.” The 70 yr iold and I got in a shouting match. I canceled my Y membership. I canceled my adult daughters. But you know, the bullys won.Triangle, you can do better. You will never change with aggressive mean members.
israa Aljadiri: It is so expensive nobody can pay much so of them about 2000
Big Red: Corporate office great customer service!
AJ Fales: Gorgeous office and full of good people. Always a pleasure to visit.
Eric McEntee: Y guides! Staff makes it easy to get in for things, just wish there were some afternoon office hours sometimes, but awesome people.
sahil ali: really nice place to workout for the whole family
