No Name: I called to figure out how to verify tax exemption because, aside from the foreign authority imposes taxes made out of a foreign jurisdiction, taxes aren't supposed to be imposed on me without my consent according to the state constitution which clearly states:"XVI. That the people of this State ought not to be taxed, or made subject to the payment of any impost or duty, without the consent of themselves."If the arbitrary government isn't going to respect the laws designed to keep them in line, I'm not going to respect the laws you claim are made to govern my life. Susan Hughes: Block Advisors have done my daughters special needs taxes for past three years (2019-2021) The first year a man did them he wasn’t there the next year. XXXXX has done her taxes for the years 2020 and 2021.I dropped off taxes to do in first two weeks of February. She called me within a month and said for the past three years that block advisors have done taxes (special needs trust) they have been done wrong. She said to fix the situation it was going to cost $500.I told just leave the papers at the front desk and I come get them. Unfortunately, we had a death in the family so we had leave town for awhile. I called back XXXX and said going ahead and do the taxes, cause I didn’t have the time to find someone else, I hadn’t heard from her since then, so I called end of last week just make sure she got the message. She called me back at the end of the day on Friday. She said she need special needs trust papers. I going drop them off on Monday on the way to work. She called Sunday morning with attitude (she always has attitude, but I figure she’s stressed with this time of year, I don’t have to deal with her much so I just let that roll off my back) saying she needs the papers. She’s had my daughter taxes since first weeks in February. I told her drop the paperwork first thing Monday morning.She said, ‘I’ll leave your taxes paperwork at the front desk.’ And then hung up.Now I’ve got few days to find someone else to do taxes. She had since first weeks in February to do so. Now am worried that you’ll haven’t been doing taxes right the three years you’ve done them. If she’d know how to do to taxes she should have passed on someone who knew what they were doing the special needs trust, instead of doing them wrong.

Marisca Lotz: How do you go from 1 star to 0 stars? Have to agree with some other comments - the security, reception, etc, is all great. But the actual IRS service is terribly disappointing. We always take ALL of our documents to apply for the necessary services. However, after months of waiting, we keep getting the same message from the IRS... that we didn't submit all of the documents. Are the agents not trained well enough, or where is the miscommunication? Wish I could change my review, but really no improvement.I can't believe that a first world country has a tax service this bad. If you don't phone at 7am, you probably will not even be able to make an appointment. The lady at this specific office was terribly rude and would not even consider walk-ins. With the technology available, surely one should be able to make appointments online with a scheduling app. People coming to the IRS obviously want to do the right thing, pay taxes, etc, but the IRS makes it incredibly hard.
