peggy wert: Having a store with a large selection and knowledgeable sales personnel is SO much better than trying to order something online and hope it will be right. Everyone was friendly and I feel I bought the most appropriate scooter for my needs.

James Slagle: Saw their ad on TV for the new Zoomer-Lite. Stopped by on a Friday afternoon on the way back from a SC beach about 1 pm since they close at 4 on Fridays. Saw the Zoomer-Lite and purchased it. Got it with their 10% off sale AND they would ship to me at no charge. The next morning, Saturday, at 9:30 am, our UPS delivery man rings the doorbell with the Zommer-Lite. How about that for service. I am south or Richmond; my thanks to our sales guy Seth Luck for working such a miracle. I have never seen such an impressive display of motorized vehicles than what Southern Mobility and Medical has on their show room floor. In addition, an impressive inventory of other devices for a person with limited mobility. Cannot say enough nice things about this business. They also do a web based business as well. If you are handicapped or just need some assistance with mobility, I recommend this business!

Sonia Decker: Bought my 2nd scooter from Southern Mobility and the experience was great. Seth was so helpful and knowledgeable about all of the different scooters and helped me decide which one would work best for me. Decided on the Golden Buzzaround Carry-On and couldn’t be happier. I had the Solax Transformer but it was getting to be too difficult for hubby to lift it in and out of the van and I didn’t like the turning radius. The Buzzaround scooter doesn’t fold up like the transformer does but we are still able to get it in and out of the van and since the seat is removed before putting it in the van, it’s lighter and easier for hubby. The turning radius on the Buzzaround is similar to a 3 wheel scooter but it has the stability of 4 wheel. A couple of days after we purchased the Buzzaround, the main part of the scooter that folds down wouldn’t work. We took it back out to Seth and he gave us a brand new one. Top notch customer service! We won’t buy a scooter from anywhere else.

Nancy Warden: Signed a contract with the Southport office. A deposit of 17,585.00 was required. To date the only thing that has been installed is the concrete slab. I have spoken to the corporate office and was told all they are is the supplier. I have emails from the National Accounts Manager stating Southport would be in contact. Southport blames the Raleigh office. Blah blah blah. This is unacceptable! UPDATE here it is July 2023. I am discussed to think a big corporation such as AmeriGlide would allow their franchises to screw customers over the way Jim Cole has in the Southport NC.

It is well made and feels very sturdy.Abbie in sales was especially helpful and assisted me taking measurements over the phone prior to placing an order. Due to tight quarters, my setup needed the Powered Folding Rail, as well as taller rail brackets.When it arrived, I installed it myself in about four hours. Maricelis Hendry-Pena: Roger Adams turned a complicated delivery into a “walk in the park”. I needed my shipment to be sent to my parents house that is located outside of the US. Not only did Roger ensure I could easily measure my parents stairs with guides and videos but he was always available to assist with any questions or any hiccups I had with the cargo company I selected to use in order to deliver the shipment by boat to my parents. He was with me every step of the way and his professionalism and problem solving was refreshing for today’s society where we are seeing less and less of this. I cannot give enough thanks to Roger.

Sri Sadhu: Do not use Ameriglide to install your stairlifts. Absolute nightmare to get them to service/repair. They give the number for ?Dell Stahl, and they never answer. It's best to get a local dealer to get it installed. You have a better chance of proper chance.
Patricia Brinegar: Were it not for two individuals, Jessie Reeves and Colin Drakeford this would be a negative review. When Abbie Basham did not reply to my repeated emails seeking help to get the repair started for a brand new stair lift installation, i happened upon Colin. He was so pleasant and more than helpful--he must love his job. Colin provided telephone numbers but also names, giving assurance that they would resolve my problem. They did, thanks to Colin. Jessie followed up offering additional help and advising that she would be "there" should i need further assistance. Colin offered the same. If Abbie represents customer service for AmeriGlide, you are badly represented. Thank you Colin and Jessie for your help but also for your willingness and regard for my concerns. The lift is up and running now and i am liking it very much, as is my husband.

Donald Kochen: After a google search for best stairlift, I zeroed in on the Ameriglide. And I’m glad I did!Sales agent Abbie Basham was very helpful answering all questions and gave me a clear idea what was needed and how it would fit my stairway.Although I had no intention of installing it myself, watching the installation video gave me confidence that this was a good product.Stairlift installation was done in a timely manner by Bob Fren, a very competent Delstal technician.There was one glitch that showed up after a couple days.The optical remote control seemed to become intermittent sometimes.It turns out this was caused by interference from a Roomba “lighthouse” at the bottom of the stairs. I moved the lighthouse and the glitch went away!Everyone I talked to at AmeriGlide was helpful and eager to please.

We live in a state where AmeriGlide does not do installations. They offered to send a technician but it was costly. We had to find friends to help us install it. The video helped us understand what to do. Our friends helped with the heavier items such as the motor and some more modern tools.The unit is functioning properly and we hope it will service us well for a long time.The manual has a few inconsistencies. Our questions were answered however and we are happy with the chair lift.

I am enjoying chairlift which I bought because I have broken ankle and could not climb my stairs. I did have one small problem with the chair lift with the seat belt they may immediately sent me a replacement and it arrived in a timely manner. I would highly recommend both Abbie and the chairlift.

I provided some previous feedback regarding the high quality of materials, but also the lack of attention to cleaning the aluminum track after the machining work. I noticed trash and debris scattered in various areas, and certain sections of the store appeared neglected and in need of proper maintenance. This lack of cleanliness detracted from the overall shopping environment and gave the impression of a poorly managed establishment.Lastly, the prices at Walmart were not as competitive as I had expected. While some items may offer decent value, I found that many products were priced higher compared to other retailers in the area. This discrepancy made it difficult to justify the additional cost, particularly when combined with the unsatisfactory shopping experience.In conclusion, my visit to Walmart was far from satisfactory. The disorganized store layout, unhelpful staff, lengthy checkout process, lack of cleanliness, and uncompetitive pricing all contributed to a disappointing shopping experience. Terence: Usually their curbside pickup is reliable and good.But today, I waited in my car for over 45 minutes before I decided to go inside and just see if I could pick up my mobile order there. It was so chaotic as there was already a group of people standing there (all of whom have been waiting for their own curbside delivery orders for a while) seeing if they could get theirs in-person too.The workers were really no help. A bunch of them had their Airpods in and some were saying they were about to walk out. Not blaming the workers at all for saying stuff like that because it looked stressful and I'm pretty sure the system was down so that's why all of the problems were happening with Curbside pickup. And at one point, I think I did see someone just throw his vest off and walk out during the middle of it.I blame store management for letting it get to that point where workers are just walking out because it gets too stressful.Also, no one answers the phone. So I'll blame management for that too.I ended up getting a full refund through the general Walmart customer service phone line and my entire order compensated for free at another location since I waited so long. So, honestly, worth the trouble!

Darazah Gore: I often come to this location when the one on new Hope drive doesn’t have what I need. Sometimes there would be large quantities of things in clearance that isn’t actually clearance. For example there was a big white box full of blankets that had a clearance sign on them . I grabbed two but when I took it to self check out it rang up full price and I tried to tell the lady where I got it from because there was also another guest grabbing some she told me it was nothing she can do about it . So I just left the blanket there along with my other items .

Nope it is not.PS: this store have many slots for pick up order (more than 14 slots) if you have pick up order choose the time before 3pm to avoid the peak time.

I received a receipt and went about my business.Next thing you know I went and scratched the grey substance off the back of the card to reveal the numbers and put it on the phone two weeks after because thats the normal time frame it is usually done. Come to find out there was nothing on the card no $45.00 only 0.00 so I went back to the same Walmart location where I purchased it and they kept telling me that there was nothing they could do and that there were no refunds.I said I am not trying to get a refund the money was never on the card.They the managers kept saying there is nothing they can do. I said there must be something that can be done. They looked at the receipt and said it show’s right here that the money was put on the card I said again there was nothing on the card. I had already gone to the phone company and they said they have heard about this happening before go back to Walmart and get your money back. That was told to me before I even went back to Walmart. After they saw I was serious about the matter and they kept going back and forth with me. Then I was told you can call 1-800-Walmart. SMH. They didn’t even want to consider the obvious which was some one either didn’t know how to put the amount on the prepaid card that said Walmart and the other company phone name and that you can put any where from $10-100 on the cardThis is a new type of phone card they started selling. Or that one of their employees is stealing. It’s one or the other . They told me they didn’t know where the money was transferred to. Me either that’s why I was there. They didn’t provide the money that was taken. . If you see this type of phone card I have described don’t buy it you may loose your money. I have a good understanding about this location.Pro: There are a few good associates who will help if needed.Con: Oh boy where to start.1. Have certain associates/team leads unavailable on certain days so it's chronically understaffed most days.2. Most Associates don't have keys to cases so that creates frustration with customers who have to wait up to over 20 minutes or longer just to get assistance.3. Many items are either misplaced, stolen, opened, or missing.4. The management at this particular location is very subpar.5. Many team leads shouldn't be team leaders. They often don't know what they should be doing.6. Associates are tasked with doing almost everything every department regardless if it's their department due to how chronically understaffed it is.7. The low pay and frequency of pay is what I believe is causing these problems.8. Find a better location if you can.

Looks like one person is working I feel terrible if so this section should just close to the public this store isn’t ready.why would I get an alert telling me my items complete to have to wait about two hours
