We finally heard her meowing and discovered she decided to climb a 50 ft pine tree and didn’t come down. Fire Depts and Animal Control said they couldn’t help. I called Brett at Longhorn because they were close to us. He was so nice and although his crew was done for the day, he and his wife came out with a bucket truck and got out girl out of the tree. We had large sweet gum and oaks in the front which were fairly close to some power lines, and they did the work safely and efficiently. We were left with some fairly large stumps, which were mostly ground up, but some pieces of stumps were left behind which were difficult to see under the amount of stump mulch created by the grinding. After contacting ArborMax, they came back out at no additional cost to ensure the stumps were fully ground. I can't complain about the great customer service. The price was right, too, compared to some other quotes we received. They left the work site reasonably clean for a tree removal service - I would expect some equipment track marks and a little bit of dirt. J White: A huge tree fell on the back of my house during a storm a few nights ago. Ripping our metal roof, taking off the quitters, fascia and soffits. My insurance company put out a quick response call to their field of first responders and Arbormax Tree Services responded within minutes. They arranged for their arborist to be at our house first thing the next morning to assess the damage and how to best proceed with removal and clean up. They are arborists trained in how to trim trees so that the tree stays healthy for years later which is something others do not take into considerations as much or at all. The sales rep was not pushy. He explained things thoroughly and was helping educate us on how to save our trees and keep them healthy when trimming them. He also suggested an injection to keep our Ash Tree healthy from bugs that tend to get them. Patricia Gray Cahoon: If you have trees that need attention, I highly recommend Leaf and Limb. When we moved into our house, there were eight Leyland Cypress trees on the lot. In less than a year, we had to cut down two and strong winds up rotted a third one. Leaf and Limb came, accessed those trees and two maples that we thought had issues. Their staff has very professional and grit, were punctual with visit to access and each of the three times they have treated the trees, clearly communicated what was needed, included a timeline of when work would be done, and quoted (not estimated) the price for treatment. Then we chose what we wanted them to do from the list of recommendations. After one year, the cypress trees are definitely healthier, and the maple is progressing.

Marc Hamel: Intelligent men working hard with their hands for an excellent outcome. Our large bank of old azaleas were dying back, choked with honeysuckle and English Ivy. Josh, Peter and Timothy (in the photo) came out today, and worked their tails off to save our remaining azaleas. The crawled in, under and around, and hand pulled all of the offending vines and volunteers. They laid down cardboard to stop the vines returning, and added mulch for plant health and appearance. They did an amazing job. The azaleas now have a chance, and I am so thankful. We still have some light tree pruning on the books, and a tree planting, and I'll be working with them in the future. I learned so much about our trees from their visit, which included work on red maples damaged by storms a couple of years ago, turning a young double trunk tulip poplar into a single trunk and trimming back an old Bradford pear. They worked morning to mid-afternoon and cleaned up everything. No trace they were here besides the beautiful work they left behind.They could have made extra money by also removing the overgrown crepe myrtles we'd like to replace. But Leaf & Limb apparently won't cut down healthy trees! If you want people whose work is focused on keeping your trees healthy, and not just cutting them down, these are your guys.

Dewey McPherson (Scariest Fish): My grandmothers neighbor recently had her tree removed by Steven and gave quite the recommendation. She reached out to him and he arrived at her home on 3/17 to discuss removing the tree beside her home, all of which we have on video thanks to her Ring doorbell camera. He let her know that if she paid in cash he would knock around $75 off the price. Seemed fair. She gave him said money, $300 in cash, and he left. It has now been 5 days without a response to any texts or calls.The tree is still there but her money is not. I'm very disappointed in the professionalism, or lack there of that was displayed here and this is bordering theft. I'm soon going to be reporting this to the state department of justice consumer complaint department and I advise if you have had any similar experiences you do the same.I do not recommend you do ANY work with Steven as there are plenty of reputable contractors available out there that won't take advantage of you or your loved ones.Edit: we never got any word back from him besides asking us to take down this review. He never did the work and never returned the money. I reported him but not sure it did anything.

The price was affordable, but they broke a piece of my neighbor's fence without talking to me about it. Several large, heavy branches of trees were damaged from the trunks on the way down, but they left them hanging up there to fall dangerously in the future with bad weather, wind, or eventual rot. My biggest complaint is that we called them several times to ask them to return and fix it, but they never responded. The quality of work was very good but there were a couple minor issues - some plants around the work area were damaged (to be expected), minor damage to a fence (which they helped repaired), broken branches on a neighboring tree (which they removed). Michael Wienholt: This is the third time we have contracted with Usman. We had just moved to a new property with many large trees that were diseased and/or very close to the house. There were a few I didn't see how they could be removed. Usman negotiated with the next door neighbor for access to the neighbor's driveway to site the crane while the trees on my property were removed. In two days over 15 trees and stumps were removed. One neighbor made a SPECIOUS complaint about oil stains left on the public road, so Usman hired a pressure washing service to clean the street. This was completely unnecessary in my opinion. There is simply no other tree service in the Triangle that comes close to Arborex in terms of service, price and expertise at handling difficult removals. I will definitely do business with them again.As I was leaving to go to work recently, I noticed Arborex removing a neighbor's tree. I had a large tree that needed to be removed but had avoided it because of assumed costs. I stopped and spoke with one of the workmen in my neighbor's yard. First impression: extremely polite, stopped what he was doing and asked very good questions. He said that he would get the right person for me to speak with and that person would meet me in my yard. I was met warmly by the Arborex site manager (?) who assessed my needs and quoted me a price. I was so shocked by the price that I accepted immediately. I joked with him that I had accepted too quickly and should have negotiated with him, and so he took a bit off his price as though I had countered his offer. He said he would get it done that day, and so I went to work.My wife reported later that day that the workmen had been courteous and professional, and the tree was gone. I expected that, upon my return home, I would need to blow off my driveway, straighten out my shrubbery beds, replant some grass, sue Arborex over damage to vehicle near tree, etc. - but no, that's not what happened. When I arrived home, everything was in order... yard looked better than before, yard had been raked, beds were perfect, driveway was spotless. And then, when I called to make payment, Usman (owner of Arborex) answered the phone and made 'forking over the cash' a pleasurable experience. The owner called me and let me know the charge for consultation would be $100 and if I wanted that in writing it would be another $50. During the consultation it became clear that the recommendation was to take down the tree and an estimate was promised. I received the invoice for $100 for the consultation and paid it promptly. I never received the estimate.I can only conclude that they were not interested in my job.

Matthew F: I initially contacted Lineberger's Tree Service because of their great reviews and arborist credentials. I was very optimistic that they would be a professional company, and not just a guy with a saw and a chipper. They have the credentials to be a proper business but the customer service is atrocious. My property is less than 9 miles from their office. I spent from October 5th until November 10th requesting an estimate for what is over $1500 of work. I sent pictures by email, and text. The only response I could get from Lineberger's was, "the job will be more than a $500 minimum charge " with absolutely no additional estimate. I was even expected to blindly hire them with that nonexistent cost estimate. I will agree that skilled labor is difficult to find. However, they should be able to train some basic in field estimators to meet with customers. Don't waste your time getting jerked around by this company.

S Weave: What a great experience. These guys are super careful and experienced in what they do. I had a tree taken between my house and the power lines. It was amazing to watch how skillful they were.The job site was cleaned up before they left, and panels were laid out to protect the lawn. When the stump was ground it was the same care and expertises used. Where they had to take up walkway and fence to get stump grinders in, they carefully put back and even fixed a part of walkway back better by taking the time to relieve dirt.Part of our project was repairing the driveway where trees had destroyed it- Lineberger’s offered to go ahead and pull up the old drive since their crane would crush it anyway and that service from them was WAY cheaper than the concrete guy had quoted. They also did an amazing job and blew off the house where dust got around the garage. Jessie Birckhead: Lineberger's Tree Service took down six trees on our property including three large oaks that were right next to our home and standing around our septic field. Their team did a fantastic job using a variety of tools and techniques to make sure that each tree came down safely with no damage to our property. They chipped most of the tops which yielded really nice mulch that we were able to share with neighbors and they also worked with us to leave behind enough material for us and a neighbor to restock our firewood piles while removing the bigger stuff offsite. We had several of the stumps ground which turned out great. Our yard looked better after they left then when they arrived which was no small feat for the amount of work their team had to knock out. The cost of the work was very reasonable. Everyone was super friendly and professional, they did a great job adhering to COVID safety measures, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great tree service!Services:Tree stump removal,Tree removal
