The Well Fed Community Garden: what do users think?
Julia Croft: They're not really open to the public aside from their posted hours on their website, but I stopped by to check it out and got to do a self-guided tour. The person I spoke with was very friendly, and said we should expect a schedule of events for the summer.
Angela Kreusel: Awesome to have a local community garden that provides fruits and veggies to residents and businesses. Visit the produce stand on Wednesdays!

WRAL Azalea Garden: what do users think?
Marta Whitehouse: Beautiful as usual. There was a slight sprinkle so there were very few people there which made the experience even better.
Chris: Enjoyed seeing the cactus in bloom. A unique garden with some neat plants
Louis C: A beautiful and extremely well maintained and FREE garden to explore when you have some time. Lots of benches and dead ends to relax at away from other people.
Fabian Fuentes: ★★★★★The WRAL Azalea Garden is a true treasure, and the beautiful Japanese maples steal the show. The garden is a serene and picturesque oasis, with a stunning array of vibrant colors provided by these magnificent trees. Walking among the Japanese maples is a feast for the eyes and a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A must-visit for nature lovers and anyone seeking a moment of serenity in the heart of nature.
Eric Green: Gorgeous!
Dawn B: Restrooms: Very clean
Kathy Jones: One of my favorite spots to visit around Raleigh for the beautiful flora and fauna, and the variety of birds always present in the gardens!
Melissa Enoch: On a visit to Raleigh with a suggestion by Heather Leah, Hidden History, I trekked to find WRAL garden and the “century” plant. I had no idea that the station was that close to NC State campus(right in the middle) and that there was a garden that could be used as a nature walk, plant observation even as a wedding venue. As an officiant of wedding, I didn’t know that for the mere cost of $250, the garden could be used along with chairs and electrical hook up as a quaint space for weddings. No receptions, but this would be useful for renewing of vows, intimate yet inexpensive place to say I do. I am glad that I was able to stop by and plan to visit more
Victoria Kazmier-Mahalik: We got to see chipmunks. My daughter came to visit from Florida and never seen them before and loved it.Picnic area: We enjoyed our snacks by the waterfall and got to meet Elizabeth Gardner. She was nice enough to pose for a pic with my grandson.
Brian Franklin Elliott: Excellent revisitPlayground: In natureDog-friendliness: People can walk dogs herePicnic area: By stage area
Dara Nelson: Beautiful! Loved seeing the century plant!
Cathy Savage: The azaleas aren't blooming right now but it is still well worth the visit. The huge amount of hydrangeas are blooming their hearts out. Beauty is everywhere you look. Can't wait to go back.
Philip Stone: Absolutely gorgeous
Onitsha Davenport: Even though we didn't see much of the garden it was beautiful. I will be going back to explore more stay tuned.
William Thompson: Highly recommend visiting this place. It's like a little piece of Heaven.
Mai Mclean: Very nice
Ryan Nicole Shinzato: Very beautiful when the flowers bloom!
Ying Wang: It is not huge but planted densely. The garden has a lot of parking and restrooms in the parking lot. We will definitely visit again when azaleas are in season
Matthew Novak: Beautiful garden, obviously the azalea bloom is the draw but don't skip this stop even if they are not in bloom. The hydrangeas hostas give a nice pop of color in the early summer. Personally I can for the agave bloom, a rare sight only. Looking to visit again soon!
Breanna: Beautiful, peaceful place to visit year round! There are always photographers. Favorite time to visit is in the spring and early summer when azaleas and hydrangeas are in bloom!
Robert Greene: A small retreat from the traffic near Pullen Park.

LL Urban Farms: what do users think?
Carson Bailey: I went there for an earth day project to support local business. When I went to buy some zucchini the guy there gave it to me for free. I gave him $2 anyways and I am glad to support local business.
R L: Very friendly staff, exceptional selection of produce, fruit, bread and even Fresh seafood every week! So nice to have a farmers market so close to my home. Would also recommend this place to anyone with kids that love chickens. You can feed the free range chickens in the back(no charge). :::2023UPDATE:::Sadly as of 2023 this location had burnt down and operates with a new setup and I’m unfamiliar with its new vendors so my previous review sadly, has been made redundant
Brian C Newman: Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable counter person. Ample selectionof fruits and vegetables. Rebuilt store that is clean and open. Good place for local hydroponic lettuce.
Flash: Stopped by to look around and ended up buying a canary melon and tomatoes. Both were delicious. The owner was helpful and friendly
Andrew C: Fresh seafood from the coast and other options from an NC distributor. Friendly service and easily accessed.Good folks!
Harlan Stafford: A unique and tasty stop for those interested in quality local- sourced foods. From fresh fruits and vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, cheeses, and sausages, LL URBAN FARMS is a must-see. It's new. Pin the address and pull in! The peaches are fantastic, as are the watermelons!PS Dog friendly.
Nancy Tabor: So sorry to hear about the fire! You guys are the best - so glad you are rebuilding! Miss those fresh tomatoes!
Mark Iannone: My new go to place for produce, seafood and get this... raviolis. Yep the best I've had since moving here from up north.Convenient and the friendliest staff ever. Now if only they'd sell beer I wouldn't have to go anywhere else. 😂
Spiro Apostolopoulos: They pack a big punch for a small roadside market. The produce is plentiful, varied, and looks and tastes amazing (special shoutout to the peppers, onions, tomatoes and all the potato varieties). As others have said, there is more than produce: great homemade pasta, cheeses, eggs (from the chickens in the back), amish butter, seafood, nuts, jams, etc. It’s almost a one-stop shop. And the prices are very fair for local, fresh goods. We come here first and supplement from the grocery store!
Brooks Cunningham: I love the local honey.
Lawrence Cole: Exactly what I expected and wanted, a farmer market road stand. Prices were fair. Customer service very good. I called the day before and they got some grapes in just for me.
James Boyce Flowers: Great, fresh veggies and pimento cheese. OMGoodness Pimento Cheese. My favorite is the Jalapeño. It isn't too spicy, just adds flavor.
Patrick Ferren: Great roadside open air market.... Great selection of local produce, meat, dairy, and seafood. Will go back again!
Heather: Great year-round farm stand with adorable wood frame open-air market. Family owned; local grown. Fruits, Vegetables, Meats, Cheeses, Pastas, honey, jams. We barely go to the grocery any longer because they have everything we need food wise. Great spot!
Dan: Great place for local produce. Canned picked veg is great. Nice staff
Eileen Coolbaugh: Very friendly. Fresh produce, meat, dairy and seafood. Will definitely go back
Kiro Rosado: Good selection of farm vegetables
S. Graham: Great example of local residents supporting healthy organic local farmers. Didn't expect to find seafood here. Added bonus. Friendly folks operating an area staple. I just hope some mega-store chain doesn't buy the surrounding land and ruin this business. We need more places like this in the area. Very Nice!!!
Madden's Seafood: Love this place. Always fresh Seafood and produce. Great people too.
Courtney Mills Greco: Great place! Fresh food and great service!
Jeff Clontz: So great to have a place to purchase locally sourced farm fresh goods. The fresh NC seafood is also fantastic and certainly better than store bought. Always a friendly experience, and we will continue to go back every week.

Travis Garner-McGraw: Hi I am currently working on an advertising project for your business in marketing class and was wondering if you had any new ideas that could promote your business further than what you’re already doing.
Div: Aug 2021Farmstand on Wednesday 4-7pm is amazing with fresh produce from the farm .. from figs, blueberries, red okra, thai purple beans, tomatoes, onions, garlic, zucchin, squash, cucumber, Rosemary and thyme to name a few.. Kate Biegler: This is a really great place, and I'm loving the Farmstand that they have on Wednesday evenings (starts at 4) during the spring/summer where they sell fresh produce that was picked right from the farm! Organic and delicious!
Anne Bagnal: I went to their wednesday night Wine and Weeds event and it was really fun! Great vibes, even had love music.
Jamie Ousterout: Raleigh City Farm is a gem in the Person Street neighborhood of downtown Raleigh. Its mission is to grow the next generation of farmers by connecting our community to sustainable agriculture. The produce is available for all community members to purchase at their weekly Farmstand from April-October, and produce is also donated to local non-profits who address food insecurity. Raleigh City Farm also offers great community programming, including workshops and events (they host an annual Bearthday event in April and annual Harvest Dinner in October). Raleigh City Farm is a great example of local, sustainable agriculture at work!
John Cameron: Wonder green space. Great to see flowers and vegetables growing. Will be sure to return.

Tara Owens: I love how Raleigh City Farm transformed that little urban street corner into a beautiful working farm that connects our neighbors to the “where, how, and why” of sustainable agriculture. We love supporting the farmers who operate on the site (buying their produce, getting our Christmas tree there each year) and attending the community events and educational classes RCF hosts. Dig Where You Live — yup!!
Sarah Ward: We love RCF! Such a gem in our city. Produce, education, movie nights... so fun!
Randy Cahoon-Tingle: Beautiful site, and very happy to see bees!!
K D: Wow! Farm to table!!!

Atlantic Gardening Company: what do users think?
Robert Brown: Atlantic gardening stands behind their products 100%. We have been exceptionally pleased with service and professionalism.
Tori Barker: Not only is this place huge, it is absolutely stunning to walk through. The customer service was great and everything was pretty easy to find. I felt so inspired and wanted to buy all of the plants. I will absolutely be coming back here when I tear my yard up again. Everyone we spoke to was very knowledgeable and kind. I was very impressed by the varieties they carried and the infographic chalk boards throughout. They offer many services including Wedding arrangements and renting out a space which was very cool. Inside the shop at the top of the hill there is a bar. They have dried lavender buds, braclets, and small gifts ideas. I was very happy we stopped by ❤️
Sarah Midolo: Atlantic has some of the most gorgeous, well cared for, and fairly priced house plants in the Raleigh area. They have both more common and rarer houseplants - all of the plants I have bought from Atlantic have thrived, with no pest or root issues. They often have good deals (BOGO dormant orchids, different philo discounts) and always have a kind, welcoming staff and environment. AND there is a bar inside with craft beers for only $3! It truly has a little bit of everything for everyone.
Kaycee Craig: Such a cute place. The mimosa bar is tops! Great variety of options. Prices are a little high but expected for a boutique shop. They have a “nurse it back to health” section for some discounted options. Bought a Venus Flytrap plant from there recently.
Beth Flynn: I've been here quite a few times and I've never had an issue but this time around it seems I purchased a plant with some kind of disease. When I asked for advice a day or 2 after purchase, I was told to go back and buy some spray and hope for the best. Keep your fingers crossed for my plant! Inspect your plants closely before buying! Especially the underside of leaves as I did not ☹️
Madison Taylor: The best plant store / nursery I have been to by far!!! So much to see and they even have a bar you can visit while you’re shopping. So much in stock and friendly staff too. I loved it! Definitely recommend while in Raleigh.
Nicole Drake: Beautiful plant shop with a bar (local beer and mimosas), excellent customer service, and amazing plants and planty merchandise to purchase.
Bill Hershberger: Atlantic Gardening always has a great quality product with employees who are extremely knowledgeable to help the novice gardener! Every plant in our yard was purchased at Atlantic Gardening.
Judi Tuzzolino: I am always pleased with the service at the garden center. Everyone is always polite and very helpful.
Dana Hanna: Great selections and fair prices
Lora Patton: I worked with Julia to send a bea large orchid arrangement to a friend after the death of her husband. Julie was so helpful, creative and knowledgeable. The arrangement she did was absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend Atlantic Gardens to everyone.
Lauren Bosley: Visited AG over this past weekend for a networking/gathering event with SewnSoul. It was my first time going and I was so pleased with my time and the atmosphere was so peaceful. I think I found a new joy in Raleigh.
Alexis Roston: I attended a networking event at the garden bar and absolutely loved the experience. The gardening company had so many beautiful rooms and such a wonderful selection of pots, equipment, and botanicals. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!
Jessie Walker: Always a pleasant experience when I come to Atlantic! Everyone is so helpful, attentive, and very knowledgeable about indoor and outdoor plants. It’s also very nice to walk around with a mimosa in hand! 😉
Markiesa Bmore: We came here during the cinco de mayo weekend when they had drinks for $3. I ordered a passion fruit mimosa and my mom got the pineapple one. It was only one bartender working and it was pretty busy in the bar area. I give the bartender credit it was definitely more champagne than juice but that was ok with me. We walked around outdoors afterward to look at plants. Cool vibes didn't even know they had a bar in there.
David Bole: Customer Friendly
Dbennett FIlm: Atlantic Garden is our go to plant place. Great environment, great employees, great plants, and they even serve beer and cocktails! Love this place.
Daniel Smith: Great staff that is knowledgeable and always willing to assist.
Hannah Krotchko: Such a cute place! Good options at the bar and the plants are well kept and organized. Fantastic spot for a drink and shop!
Jean Gay: I love this place!
GreenieGirl: I am the worst person with names! This absolutely wonderful woman who's name starts with an A! 🤭 .... Helped me upon my first visit to Atlantic. I was mostly in the greenhouse checking out the orchids. She was simply the BEST! I want to say Amber but I don't think that's it.She took so much time to talk to me about anything and everything. Answered all my questions and more! Gave me the confidence to go ahead and buy my first Cattleya Orchid. 💚Thank you so much!!! I love it to death! It's so beautiful there! Everything is so pretty. Every single staff member I encountered was so kind, pleasant and more than willing to help and answer any question. Just stellar staff here.I will continue to shop here. Thank you so much!

Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh Triangle Town Center: what do users think?
London Simone: My family and I arrived at this hotel yesterday evening, and the front desk employee was quite helpful and friendly. The hotel room was quite beautiful and tidy when we arrived. The mattresses are really comfortable, but the pillows are very uncomfortable. The restroom is beautiful, and I appreciated using the shower gels and hair conditioner that were given. The hotel is quite quiet, and my assistance service dog was also accepted! The one drawback, aside from the pillows, is that the hotel does not provide continental breakfast; the front desk clerk informed me that breakfast costs $9.95. Overall, my stay at this hotel was fantastic, and I hope to return in the future.
Ellis Johnson: It was a beautiful place. The staff was pleasant, and the room was super clean. If only it wasn't so hot there.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet, Great value …More
Caroll Marston: Room is in need of updating, esp thr bathroom.Food & drinks: Breakfast was comparable to other Hilton propertues. The server was delightful!Dinner was mediocre, at best. Again however, the server/bartender was great.Noteworthy details: Quiet and the service staff were friendly, especially since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary.
Stephanie Stewart: Didn’t love this property. The bed was very hard. For some reason I did not get any water when checking in. I am a Silver Member and I could clearly see the welcome water behind the desk. Parking was very tight, the lines need to be wider. I am not sure but this property didn’t give off normal Hilton vibes.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bertha Benedetti: Rooms: Very spaciousSafety: Walk in shower was just what I needed.Food & drinks: Food was delicious and affordable.
Loretta Johnson: Celebrated the Johnson Family reunion here. 110 guests. Thank God for Brandi. She assisted in bridging the gap between hotel management and our party wonderfully. With such a large party management should have been better prepared. But thankfully most issues were positively resolved. Thanks again for making our. Reunion a success. Big ups Brandi and Ray the breakfast host.

Dr. Kashi Bazemore: I always recommend this hotel to those who are visiting North Raleigh. During my most recent stay, the customer service of the front desk staff started our stay off right. Shout out to Ms. Joyce and Brandi. You guys are such professionals. Thank you for the exceptional care you provided us when we had a third-party reservation. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hotel.

Donna Martin: Everyone was super nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Great place to stay!
Stephen Walker: Our trip here was crazy. We walked in to a room that smelled of cigarette smoke but we had to get to a rehearsal dinner for a wedding so we couldn’t deal with it when we first got to the hotel. We came back around 9 PM and found that our room had locked itself from the inside and we could not get in. That’s when the incredible staff made themselves known, the front desk staff jumped on trying to get us in to our room, got us in to a new room while we waited that was perfectly clean, and worked for 2 hours straight until we could get our things from the old room and bring them to the new room. The rest of our stay was peaceful and comfortable. Great option when traveling to this area as it is no more than 30 minutes away from anywhere you’ll need to go in the greater Raleigh area and the surrounding counties.
Keisha Huffman: Noteworthy details: The noise was awfulRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Thomasine Lewis Canty: No complaints, near major highway so easy to access. Clean, and quiet. Near everything but sits back slightly so all of the lights and traffic sounds don't interfere with rest. Breakfast was delicious, I paid extra for cooked to order instead of just the included continental. Was worth it. Would stay here again.Nearby activities: There is a small plaza with several restaurants may 2-3 minutes walking distance. When you turn in from the main street, you go left for the hotel or right for the plaza, it's just that close. There is a Town Center 5-10 min away depending on your gps. There are also multiple shopping, dining plazas within a 10 minutes drive if you stay on the main road.
Suneil Chander: Hotel was great! Room was clean and staff was friendly. I had a minor issue on my bill that was addressed and fixed.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ann Brewington: Nearby activities: Plenty of shops around.Safety: Very clean and quiet area. Never felt threatened at all with area. Although it was a bit strange driving through a housing complex to get there.Walkability: Wry close to shops, but not too clise

Margaret Stelmach: The Gardens at Wakefield, Raleigh , offers the highest level of services and caring. Our experience living at The Gardens improved our lifestyle , our social life , and the prospects of good health care. This retirement facility offers 3 healthy and tasty meals every day. Chef Richard is willing to meet the dietary needs of the residents and provide a diverse menu ! Those who serve for each meal are kind , efficient , and willing to please. Meals in the lovely dining room were opportunities to meet other residents and spend quality time visiting with those with whom you had acquired friendships. We made many lasting friends while living at The Gardens. I believe the services that were offered contributed to sustaining good health and social capabilities. We had blood pressure checks, on site physical therapy, hearing aide care, social activities which enhanced our frame of mind , and transportation to outside facilities . There were hairdressers available on a daily basis. One could not get bored while living at The Gardens at Wakefield or feel neglected in any way. Marissa provided outstanding entertainment and social programs. General Manager , Mark Alexander, offered outstanding leadership in meeting our needs in all areas. He not only led ; he participated by involving himself in all aspects of operation and services. He was always available to listen to our needs and suggestions. Tina , the Sales Manager , worked diligently to bring in residents that enriched our community. She assisted our newcomers in the transitions needed when first arriving to this retirement community. She was always present to hear our problems or suggestions . The Gardens at Wakefield gave us a new outlook on aging and provided us with many opportunities to preserve good health , maintain a happy lifestyle , and feel that we were cared for by all who participated in the operation of this outstanding senior retirement community !
Cindy Noble: We visited three facilities with my parents and although each one was lovely we all felt there was something different about the Gardens at Wakefield. The facility and apartments are beautiful and very clean, but it was the people that made the difference for us. Tina gave us a wonderful tour and knew all the residents by name. Everyone we spoke to had positive feedback about living here, and were very warm and welcoming to my parents.
Cindy Davis: Wonderful option for all-inclusive, independent Senior living. The Staff is amazing to work with and genuinely cares about their residents. Look forward to seeing all the completed renovations!
Davis Capps: Great location with awesome staff that cater to their residents! Would highly recommend!
Andrea Harmon: Excellent community! The team at this community is very caring and helpful.
Jennifer J Brown: What a fun day I had spending the afternoon with the Members of The Gardens at Wakefield leading a painting class where we painted a Spooky Cat painting. A super fun location with great people! I hope I get to come back soon! Thank you Marisa.
Tracy Gentry: I am the rehab director at this building and love working here. The staff is supportive to all the residents. The residents are kind and supportive to one another and the overall feel of the building is family and kindness. I would definitely put my family member here.
Kathleen Henig: A friend of mine recently moved into The Gardens at Wakefield and it has been such a great transition. It’s a great place to call home with all the staff getting to know the residents by name. I would highly recommend!
