Tiffany Williams: Never had an unpleasant experience until today. As always, Evan was professional & I appreciate that. The young lady working with him , however, was another story. For starters I wasn't asked my name & she didn't give hers. She got an attitude because I told her she wasn't going to be fishing in my arm. After her attempt to tell me what fishing was, she dropped one of my tubes of blood on the floor & proceeded to slam the other tubes down into the holding tray. Fishing is what she did. She stuck me, then I could feel when she went in & also moved the needle around, TWICE. I just happen to be a nurse. I draw blood daily. The audacity to try to tell me what you're doing to me-the person in the chair & then the attitude because I voice that. SMH.I will go back but she will never render service to me again.

Andrea Martin: So, I’m not sure of the managers name but they definitely do NOT need her there! She was extremely rude and was not willing to help at all! The other staff were nice but she was NOT! I went there to get tested for COVID and paid $270 to get the results for the same day, but I never got them sent to my email as I suggested! I literally drove back just to get my results (If you are traveling make sure your flight doesn’t get canceled because they do not care!) They told me to pay $270 again 2 days later due to my flight being canceled. I do NOT recommend this place unless they change the manager to someone more professional because she was extremely RUDE! I do NOT recommend this place for COVID testing!!!

CW: Um 😐 in the picture I am sharing I don’t know what on earth happened here because I never ever bruise like this especially not for blood drawn. I been in hospital days with IV and I never bruise. 1 hour later after blood drawn I started bruising it’s been many days and instead of getting better it looks worse. I did tell the lady that no one ever did that location where she put the needle and that it was very painful. She looked at me like she could care one bit if I was in pain or not and completely ignored me. I guess you have no say just be quiet and appreciate that they “helping” you. If she would have been a bit more considerate I wouldn’t be here upset. I am worry now that she hurt a vein or something. Unfortunately I wouldn’t go back, I’m scared now.

BB Girl: My name is Robin and I'm a former employee of the company and I enjoyed the clinic that I worked in. I always went above and beyond and when I resigned from my position I still made myself accessible for my replacement in order for Mako to maintain that client that wanted to replace them with LabCorp. The clinic staff as well as the Mako supervisor would call me to find out how I did something. I answered and helped with ease while no longer being employed because I liked the company as well as the clinic staff. However, I was recently DISAPPOINTED when I reached out several times for Human Resource to get an employment verification letter that stated my start and end date. Human Resource NEVER officially returned my email, so I had to reach out to someone else in the company. I was grateful for her quick response only to my disappointment that she informed me that HR informed her that they only provide employment verification for CURRENT employees. I personally have never heard of that from a company. The companies that I have reached out to either provided a letter or there was an employment verification number for future employers, loan officers etc. to verify information that you but on your paperwork.
Maureen Wambui (Love): I worked there as a covid response screener and they fired me and my other 4 co workers out of no where, when summer break began. They do not warn people before letting them go. I do not recommend anyone looking to work for Mako, very unprofessional HR people and managers.
Miles Karp: Pre-registered for a PCR COVID-19 test only to arrive at the site to find it abandoned. I called Meiko customer service and a very rude customer service person told me that I needed to call the public health department because the site had been changed even though I pre-registered last night. Mako is providing a great disservice to this community. Zero out of five stars, absolutely terrible. These people have absolutely no business being a vendor for something as important as testing the community for contagious diseases

K M: The staff member working at the Covid sample collection site was rude and gave no instructions for how to collect the sample.Extremely slow getting results back - it has been nearly 26 hours since collection and no results yet, even though they said within 24 hours. I won’t be using Mako Medical again. Collection sites and testing done by Radeas Labs is much better and so much faster. Radaes has results within 9 hours of collection!!!!

The managers are unprofessional, messy and gets people fired for no reason. They refused to give us bonuses despite us asking many times. They don't appreciate their employees. Everyone is job scared and walks on eggshells because their jobs are constantly threatened. I was out sick with covid and the company refused to pay me for a full five days. They only paid me for three days despite what their policy is. This company makes their own rules regarding their employees. You constantly get group messages from the manager threatening your job and refusing to call the person out she had a problem with. They hired me as a Mon-Fri screener and tried to get me to work Sats despite Sats not being required. If I could give this company -1000 I would.

Doesn't quite seem to be good pot odds but, hey, you do you!And before the "owner" responds: You have my information. I am not going to reach out to you. If you can't be bothered to do any work at all to figure out why people are having bad experiences and recommending people NOT to go to your business, don't bother pasting that copy and paste response in. Especially now, because it would really just make you look like completely incompetent geniuses.

Gavin Crawford: I visited this provider in Oct 2022 and paid the copayment on that day. However, this May 2023, I suddenly received a bill from this Nextcare, requesting me to pay the bill. This is a in-network provider of blue cross blue shield insurance, which I hold. The bill should be sent to Blue Cross not me. I contacted Blue Cross, and they said they denied the claim submitted by this provider because the claim lacked of sufficient information. They requested Nextcare to resubmit the claim with additional information. But, Nextcare did not resubmit the claim and they sent me a bill this May, 6 month after the service date. This is unbelievable.Furthermore, the bill Nextcare sent to me has wrong doctor name . The doctor name on the bill is Amanda Johnson, who is a female. But, I clearly remember that the doctor I visited was a male. I think this doctor name on the bill is fake. Nextcare just puts a fake name on the bill and it is like a scam. So I called Nextcare customer service and they put me on hold for 1 hour and transferred me three times. After the 1.5 hour call with Nextcare, they still could not give me a reasonable response why the name on the bill is fake. They let me leave a voice message. This is terrible.I would never come here again or any othe rNextcare urgent care center. One more thing to mention is that I waited 3 hours before getting the urgent care service after I stepped into this facility in Oct 2022.
Heather Needham: Be prepared to wait and wait and wait some more. I had a follow-up appointment scheduled for 7/29/2022 at 3 PM. I was in the parking lot and had checked in before 3 PM. I waited in the waiting room for an hour. No exaggeration. Finally, someone came to get me and put me in a room to be seen. I have now been sitting in the patient room for over 45 minutes. Still no one. What is the point of an appointment if it still takes over an hour and 45 minutes to be seen? Any communication/update would have been appreciated. Would have rated 1-star but the staff I've interacted with here have been pleasant. In addition, they will not bother to protect by giving you a lead apron to wear during an x-ray because "our machines aren't strong enough here." I highly recommend going somewhere else.

Brandie Knox: Traveling out of town and needed to see a doctor. Very efficient, professional and friendly.
Adriana C: The facility doesn't have X-ray in place. The radiology center is not walking distance either. My foot is hurting badly. The nurse practitioner at AFC said he will follow with the X-ray, and he hasn't. They tell you to register in a patient portal, but the portal has no way to sent a message to the provider or communicate with the staff.The nurse practitioner put me on a boot for 7 days, and even the lady at the X-ray facility was surprised because they haven't even seen the X-ray. If you have a respiratory condition I suggest you to go to another urgent care that can be more prompt with the labs. I can wait, but for other conditions is really bad the urgent care doesn't have this on site.

You can’t and won’t find that type of service everywhere.
Naomi Lindsey: ***IT'S A LONG ONE***6/23 - Woke up sounding like a whole man; later that day My Macho had basketball voice was still deep and then became sore (probably from supporting from the bleachers🤣)6/24 - Woke up still sounding manly and still sore; some coughing came into play did errands came home chilled out before meeting up with a couple of friend's to enjoy the night life (had a blast with a hoarse voice)6/25 - Woke to a surprise call from My Older Sister voice still manly (enjoyed our convo); got Macho and I ready for his 3 on 3 tournament (didn't use my voice much at all bcuz it was hurting and coughing began to increase); came home, showered ate and coughing is now is more consistent basically slept sitting up.6/26 - Woke up, worked a bit, took my lunch made a couple of errands got a surprise call from one of my aunties (who shared some home remedies)grabbed something for my throat (so I thought) began taking it logged back into work and completed my day; coughing wouldn't quit nor surpress plus now feel phlem and hear the gurgling through the night6/27 - Woke up, worked a little, told Boss I am going to Urgent care to get this checked out something is not right either it's Bronchitis or walking pneumonia; it wasn't right it was pneumonia in the right lower quad of my lungs 😲 2 scripts of antibiotics 1script of anti-inflammatory and mucinex started regimen per Dr's orders asap if any short of breath at go straight to ER and follow up in 2 days; logged back into work but didn't last long🤷🏾‍♀️ it was rough, rough night 😵‍💫6/28 - Rough start to the morning; began to feel slightly better; logged in later to work and completed my work day🤗6/29 - Returned to the urgent care for my follow-up and the prognosis is everything sounds great and increase water intake🙏🏽✨️🙏🏽I wrote ALL this to say, pay ATTENTION to your body/signs, NOTATE your timeline of symptoms and EXPLAIN everything don't withhold information. This could've turned out so much worse.In the past, I experienced having a severe head colds; I may have experienced the flu as a child but never as an adult and this was the 1st time getting pneumonia🤷🏾‍♀️ but very aware of the symptoms.#ThankYouGodAndMyGuardianAngels#GotWayTooMuchToDo#MyHealthMatters#DoNotIgnoreYou

The process was very easy and availability was wide open for midday on a weekday.All admission forms were filled out online ahead of my arrival. I got there ten minutes before my appointment and was seen exactly on time. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.I would definitely recommend this location. They also have ample parking and plenty of space to wait inside. VERY clean facility. Thanks!

He wasn’t rushed and took his time to explain what was wrong and why he was prescribing the type of medicine for me. Kaitlyn Griczewicz: I am a student at NC State and went here over 5 months ago, because i was extremely sick. They told me I had a sinus infection…. turns out I had the Flu. They tested me for covid and that was it. They gave me nothing but amoxicillin to help my sickness and sent me out the door. Later on they proceeded to charge me $300 out of pocket, 5 MONTHS LATER for the visit. I called and they said my insurance denied the claim… that’s okay and I completely understand but it has been almost two weeks now and I still have not been refunded after resolving the issue (my insurance payed them back two weeks ago). As a broke college student I was disappointed they did not give me a warning before taking the money out of my account. Feels like a scam to me…. Anyways, I won’t give 1 star only cuz the appointment process was quick and easy.
Becca H: This is the best urgent care I’ve ever been to!! I needed immediate assistance for an infection and the providers went SO far above and beyond what they could have done. They spent so much time and effort and were so considerate of my pain and comfort. Even were sure to send my script to a different pharmacy than my usual because they were able of the hours and wanted to make sure I had my meds as soon as possible. Could not recommend them more and I’m so thankful.
