Purple Cabbage: what do users think?
Its Jared: Great food. The Chefs Burger tastes better then an actual beef burger!
Charlene Marshall: Purple Cabbage did our July 4th catering. It was Fantastic. We had a mixture of Vegan and traditional foods. It was great to see our more mature family and friends try foods they had never eaten before. They talk about it for weeks. Thanks Purple Cabbage.
Frasier Linde: They couldn't tell me what's in the "Beyond Meat" besides, "it has a little soy in it" (which it doesn't). I tried it anyways, and paid $8 for two small tacos that tasted alright but weren't very filling (and they could have skipped the out-of-season strawberries). Not impressed.

The Fiction Kitchen: what do users think?
Jonathan Davis: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Chicken and WafflesMore
Christopher Smith: We FINALLY got to try Fiction Kitchen, after years of wanting to! The food was incredible, we got the Lion’s Mane Rangoon to start and the Chick’n n Waffles andRisotto for entrees with the Mac n cheez and pimento cheese fries as sides. Everything was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!
Morgan Clark: Such a great spot in Raleigh! The rangoon appetizer was amazing- I will definitely come back the next time I am in town.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Keshia C.: We wanted to try a new place, and the vegan pasta fried mushroom oysters and lion mane ragoon food was delicious 😋 I will be back.Vegetarian options: The menu is vegan
Allison Kalloo: Been meaning to experience this place for a while. Did not disappoint, though I do think my own mushroom po' boy is better (more infused flavor and more mushrooms). But this was decent. The appetizers were amazing!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Noodle Bowl, Fried Oyster Mushrooms …More
RWR: Great truly vegan food in Raleigh area.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes BBQ, Impossible Burger, Sweet Potato Fries, Vegan BBQ, BBQ Plate …More
Geoffrey Neal: Outstanding vegetarian food. Great service. Reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: It's what they do. All veg. Outstanding.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but the food is excellent for kids who aren't hooked on chicken fingers and French fries.
Jon Pugeda: It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I’m glad I was finally able to get a reservation. Absolutely love the vibe inside. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and the food superb 🏽! We started with the Lion’s Mane Rangoons and Spring Rolls. Both were done well and had really flavorful sauces that accompanied them. For main course we got the Peanut Noodles & the Risotto. The noodles were 🔥🔥🔥!! (Make sure you add the fried tofu). The risotto was cooked perfect and the added crab cake completed the dish. For dessert we had the blueberry dulce de leche cake and it didn’t disappoint. If you want to try an amazing restaurant with an amazingly creative chef, Fiction Kitchen will not disappoint.
Dan Miller (HighTechGeek): It's a great way to see the cutting edge of vegan food technology done very, very well. It's not necessarily healthy with a lot of deep fried, batter-dipped offerings. It's not exactly fighting against processed foods as many meat and cheese substitutes are a multitude of chemically processed mystery ingredients. But it is definitely cruelty free eating. It's also a treat for vegans craving comfort food or to show carnivores what's possible on the other side. You'll definitely put on a few pounds here and go home full and satisfied. The location is kind of a dive and the windows were rattling continuously so violently and loud to the point where children were scared and I fully expected them to shatter due to Red Hat amphitheater having some techno rave event a block away, but they held for the 2.5 hours we were there. The staff are super attentive, nice and fast.Get your reservations well in advance. Street parking can be difficult.Vegetarian options: Everything in the restaurant and on the menu is veganKid-friendliness: There were kids there. It's family friendly.Parking: There was an event going on downtown (which is often) so street parking is difficult as they don't seem to have any dedicated parking for the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: If you can get to the sidewalk in front of the restaurant, there are no steps preventing entry, but it is on a slightly steep road. There's no handicap parking and no dedicated parking. Just street parking.Dietary restrictions: They specifically asked us at the start of the meal if anyone had food allergies. They also have notes on their menu regarding gluten free items and 3 other categories (can't remember what they were... nuts maybe and 2 others) for those types of preference. In addition, everything in the restaurant is vegan.
Katie Evans: This place just does not miss. Passion for local ingredients mixed with passion for service makes a local gem.Recommended dishes BBQ, Chicken and Waffles, Vegan Chicken and Waffles …More

Dana: I am not a vegan (I want to be) but this place is delicious! The mozzarella sticks YUM!! And our server (hey B) was amazing. Great drinks too!
Robin Suggs: Who would've thought that someone could pull off a vegan version of authentic eastern NC pork barbeque? Well The Fiction Kitchen did it! Incredible... simply incredible. Among the best vegan restaurants in the US for sure!
Eric Page: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More

Coco Owen: My sister and I stumbled upon this little gem on Memorial Day, the aroma and witty sign pulled us right in. Plenty of vegan or vegetarian options. The owner manned the counter and boy was he a hoot, definitely in his element. The food was fresh and quick. I had a vegan sandwich that was by my surprise served with a cold bean salad and couscous. Filling and priced well for the area.
Jack Greene: Love the food, decor, and people! A Raleigh gem for sure.
digimicah: The veggie sandwiches are delicious, especially the Angus. I usually don't care about deli sides, but the Israeli couscous and chickpea salads are good enough that I would go there just for those.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

It’s got a solid menu with veggie and non veggie items that all come with really tasty couscous plus white bean salad. Got a good decaf cappuccino. The guy working there also helped a guy in a motorized wheelchair come into the cafe, which was cool. Nice art too

Neomonde Mediterranean Raleigh: what do users think?
mike smith: Very expensive.Utmost less quantity (they show they are hit by pandemic)Quality of food - Sub par. Below avg…Recommendation - Visit if u are out of options
Cynthia R.: They have the best falafel and hummus!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Anthony: Longtime loyal patron. I’ve been coming here consistently enough and for enough years to have observed the significant post-covid decline into low mediocrity. Staff are almost always observably confused, overwhelmed, and / or stoned, even during off-peak hours. They used to give you four pita with whatever you bought—now they only give you two itty bitty ones, and that’s only if you ask for it explicitly. Like, come on: I’m getting a meal which consists primarily of DIPS. You should be giving me enough pita to clear the plate without ever needing a utensil, without my asking. No one on Earth wants to eat straight hummus with a fork. Every time I ask for a couple extra grape leaves, they look at me like I just landed from another planet, as if it’s some profound imposition.Food used to be the best. Now it’s just okay. This place used to be kind of secret, but is now overrun with a 99% W.A.S.P. crowd. They’ve adjusted their prices to fit that, too. Egregiously exorbitant prices, barely competent service and utterly forgettable food make Neomonde a no-go for me from now on.
Frieda Sanders: The food here is spectacular. There is a large variety of buffet style food, cook to order food and grocery items. They have several types of baklava available. The grocery items are really nice as well. Plenty of seating for dining in.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Vegan Options …More

Maria Fadri: I love this place. Great, amazing food. Excellent selection of fresh, delicious sides and salads. A variety of dessert pastries. My favorite is the rice pudding. Moira: Service is always great, but like a lot of food right now, at least for the small personal pizzas, prices have gotten high. Even for some other food, especially when adding toppings or customizing. Probably no fault of the restaurant's with inflation. Most food is good, some is ok. Drinks are on the weaker side and pricey. Their sourdough pizza crust is the best in my opinion, though.
PoisonKissDeath: Of all the Mellow Mushrooms I have tried this is the ONLY one I will be returning to. The food was amazing, the service was peak and the general atmosphere was nice. For a place that close to downtown Raleigh it really was a great place sensory wise. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: There was an excellent vegan cheese option and so much veg.
Keshia C.: Great and Fresh food, waiter wasn't helpful, waited 10min for refills.Parking: When you order online, they'll bring food out to you. Terry Girls: Bobbi was our waitress, and she was absolutely amazing. The food was great. We got a huge table out on the deck, and they even came in and sang to two of our guests for their birthday and presented them with a complementary pretzel. Setting up reservations for 20 people was super easy I called, and the person on the phone was very pleasant and accommodating, and everything was ready when we arrived.
