RealPersonal ReviewsRaleigh: I spend entirely too much time here. This is THE place to be if you play the fish tables. It's not really big and it is super competitive but these tables pay, and big if you take the risk. I usually play it all back but it's a fun time always.The staff makes it a true customer service centered business. Always a smile and all efficient at getting you change, paying your tickets or answering questions or settling disputes fairly.
Francis from WhiteBoxPC: Been there a couple of times. They don’t follow their own policies. You can go up to the window without a ticket and just say a table number and get cashed out regardless if it was yours or not. And they will tell you it’s your fault. Also if you hit the payout button, they claim it did not print either. This happened today 04/21. Can be quiet shady in there. Be careful. No such thing as customer support. No manager in the place at any time of the day. Just be careful. Don’t expect to be taken care of if anything goes wrong.

Katherine Callahan: As much money as i have spent at their business.... I sat down to play on a seat with a sticky button. Now if you play you will know that slow tap, fast tap, double tap, one tap, with a moving object is significantly different and can get your score points or no points. I switched seats to only find out that button was sticky too.... I wasted 70$. I just wanted to play a little bit longer than 10 minutes. Mind you i can put a 5$ in a seat with no sticky button and play for a hour or two sometimes... I filled out a customer complaint form telling of my experience... I was denied a refund.... It's not like i wasn't going to play the refund.... I was going to play on a seat with a working button. They don't even have gift cards to give to customers to play at their skill game arcade for compensation for when their machine is malfunctioning. They knowingly allow customers to sit at seats with malfunctioning equipment. They are so stingy they can't put a out of order sign on the equipment.

MS BETTY BOOMBOOM aka FEMALE RAPPER D NYCE: The security gaurd kept flirting with me and asking for my NUMBER...I went there to try to win some money.. But the guy I'm dating LOST a lot of money in there, so I didn't play big. I watched another girl lose a few thousand. The security gaurd told me some Spanish guys lost 45.000 dollars that same day I was there. He thought it was funny. Once I saw THAT I knew they were SCAMMING. I haven't been back since. Don't plan on ever going there AGAIN. I asked the security gaurd why their machines never pay out? He told me it's the people's choice to play. That didn't seem like an ANSWER.

Not only did he patiently explain pokemon cards to my clueless husband and I.. he also gave our son some cards from his own collection to really help him get his collection started. Who does that?? My only suggestion is that you move the store to a bigger location bc they could make GREAT use of it now that the ThinkGeek is gone to fill that collectibles gap. Also, pay the staff more and generally staff more so that the crush of customers on the weekends gets maximum return.
Kayla Champion: So I’ve always had a positive experience at this location but recently these guys helped me out so much that I just had to write a review. So long story short, I have TMJ, basically my jaw is in pain all the time and when I game with my over-ear head phones it really puts pressure on my jaw and causes me so much pain I usually can only play games for a couple hours before it hurts too much. I was casually talking with the guys working (I truly wish I remembered their names so sorry) when they mentioned the Atrix E-series pro wireless headset. They let me try a pair on and it was the lightest headset I have ever put on and could tell immediately that this wasn’t going to cause my jaw to flair up. I have literally gone through 10 different headsets (paid over 500 bucks trying different headsets) only to always have this issue. While they didn’t a pair at the store they could sell me they went the extra mile and let me know of every store in a 5 mile radius that had the E-series. I was able to pick one up and for the first time I was able to game without being in pain. The sound quality was amazing, and they only cost me 50 bucks. Sorry for such a long review but thank you guys so much for taking the time and going the extra mile. It truly has meant the world and I just can’t thank you enough.

Liquid Mercury: Got everything you need but you get bombarded with subscriptions you don't want at the end. Not the employees' fault, they just do as they're instructed to not lose their job. I wish they weren't forced to though and were instead encouraged to legitimately chat people up and not have the quotas to meet.

M&N: We recently went to all 3 local GameStop locations in the same day. My son who is 7 and just getting into games, wanted to look at EVERYTHING before he spent his Easter money he received. Every location had a friendly staff but the Capital Blvd location goes above and beyond. Not only are they very knowledgeable but really talked to my son on his level about what he liked to play and not just to me, because I was the adult. I appreciate that and I think my son did too. I enjoyed the interaction and kindness. This location will be our go to spot from here on out. Thank you.
