Hunt & Gather: what do users think?
Elizabeth G: Exceptional treasures, reasonably priced.
Andrea Hall: Unique, welcoming, and the shop keepers are so kind and helpful. I just adore this place. One piece purchased, and I will be back for more.
Hannah Schwegman: Not a true antique mall, it felt like it was catered to older people, everything felt like it was the same “style”
Debra Canaday: I absolutely love this store. Knowing the original prices of the furniture they have, their prices are great. This is not a “Rooms to Go” type of store. They carry very fine furniture, rugs and accessories at very reasonable prices. This is my go to store!!
Polly Rodriguez: Many consignors under one roof. The store is much bigger than it looks!A wide variety of furniture, jewelry, linens, lighting and everything else.Clean, well lit makes it easy to shop.
Ragiata Barrie: Beautiful furniture pieces though a bit pricey. The owner was very nice and gave detailed information about the designers and quality.
Johnson Legal PLLC: Love this place. My wife and I always visit to find new treasures. Great staff, great selection, great finds. Stop by today to see and buy quality furniture and antiques.
Scott Lowry: Nice store with good merchandise. willing to barter for a customer that is ready to buy
Stowe Berlin: Great place to spend time.
Fernando Bautista: Todo esta muy bien ahi. Muchas cosas hermosas. Me gusta mucho esta tienda.
Brenda H: Love going there. Always quality and variety to choose from. Staff very helpful.
MS EJ-R (Imani-C): Had hoped that the two half-moon shaped /demi chests were still available... Was sorry I missed them BUT, with the genuine help of a person who I learned later was one of the owners, I ended up finding not only 2 perfect replacements for them, but was also shown a few more comparable pieces of furniture that I felt were must-haves for the bedroom and parlor! I liked being provided plenty of information along with comparable options, then left alone to make informed decisions about my final purchase(s). Hunt & Gather is now my FIRST stop for home furnishings!
Elle Gilmore: This shop has great pieces from front to back. I could count on one hand the number of dealer stalls that I didn't take time to look through. There was lots of glass and pottery throughout. Pieces are mostly American, European or Asian.
Julie Ungaro: Always interesting to look and see what is there. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Quality and interesting things.
Beatrice Nelson: Friendly place interesting vintage and antique items
Lin B: Found the perfect gift for my niece's bridal shower: an absolutely beautiful crystal vase! And the staff is very warm and friendly.
Robert Ganley: Great omelets good Sunday morning brunch. Service was great. Cappuccino left something to be desired, but she did say something was whacked with the machine.
Ava Maldonado: Great store. Everyone was very sweet and helpful. Lots to see, we'll be back to see what's "new"
David Gregory: Staff are very welcoming. Lots to look at. Greg is a great person and a wonderful asset.
Mildred Hocutt: Nice variety of antiques at good prices.
Marlowe Earl: Consignment vintage goods...A treasure in every book and corner. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere...plus these wonderful scented soaps..

Retro Modern Furnishings: what do users think?
Amanda Newman: I recently purchased a butcher block table and love the finished product. It is beautiful and looks amazing in my home. I chose to have the teak wood with the raw steel modernist legs. It is exactly what I have always wanted in a table. It was worth the 8 week wait for the table to be built, by hand. I will shop here again for both custom and vintage furniture. Thank you!
Holly Taylor: My family has gotten a number of pieces from Retro Modern (sleeper sofa, vintage dresser, bedside tables, planters, coasters, etc). We have been so impressed with the quality and customer service. Kelly is passionate, talented and goes above and beyond to make sure customers are pleased with their purchases. Can’t wait for her new showroom to open!
Carolyn Smith: We are so happy with our custom butcher block table and sectional from Retro Modern Furnishings! Both items look absolutely beautiful in our new house! The craftsmanship is unmatched for the price point and everything was ready quickly. And, when something wasn’t quite right after delivery of our sectional, Kelly was quick to make sure we were taken care of. So glad we found this place!
Nathalie Tondeur: Very helpful staff and surprisingly affordable for the quality and customization options
Nick Murray: Great customer service, owner truly cares. Highly recommend this shop.
Emma Marie Thomas: Stopped at a few stores in Raleigh for a browse and left here with two desks and shelves. They make great custom furniture at a reasonable price.
Holly B: They made us the most beautiful coffee table! The staff was fantastic about working with us on our changes, and the piece is very well-made, and we love it. We’ll definitely be back when we need new furniture!
dave mulcrone: They custom made a mid century modern cabinet to my specs and it turned out amazing! Check this place out it's an awesome gem in every way.
Sanne Smith: Excellent place. Bought a wooden coffee table, two modern wooden benches, wooden table and chair. I would have bought more but my apartment is small and I’m here temporarily.
Jeff Morehouse: Small shop but with friendly help and a great assortment of options.
Megan Blanchard: Love my dining room table that was handmade by Retro Modern.
Jackson Kiel: Beautiful store, staff are very friendly and helpful in trying to get you exactly what you want!
Theresa Ballinger: I had been following Retro Modern Furnishings on Instagram for a while when two beautiful chairs were posted to their feed. I was able to quickly get downtown to their Raleigh storefront, and they did not disappoint! The quality was beautiful and the staff was so helpful to give me the measurements to check my space at home. We were back the next day to buy and are looking forward to next time! Thanks for making the hunt for unique, high quality furniture so enjoyable!
Tony Kershaw: Entrance is actually on Dawson St.
Eloise Currie: I've bought numerous pieces from Retro Modern. I've basically refurnished my house with vintage mid-century furniture they've beautifully restored. Just ordered a couch from them.
Ravi Palacharla: Unique piece s of furniture !!
Andrew Garland: Fantastic shop. Beautiful pieces, vintage and new. Thank you, Kelly!

Raleigh Furniture Gallery: what do users think?
Tracy Morin: Gorgeous furniture at a great price. This store is worth a trip to. The quality of the furniture is excellent and so are the prices.
Rob Cohen: Great place for antique and collectible shopping. Found the most comfortable leather chair at a great price.
Rhonda Humphrey: Prices are a bit over the value to me. Most prices are not negotiable. Variety of furniture is more formal than my style, but if you really like more antiques wood pieces, they have a good variety. Staff was very nice and helpful
Robin Cassidy: Absolutely love this store! If you are like me and love the quest for beautiful furniture for your home, this is your favorite place. Always has unique pieces with exceptional quality and of course price. The staff are extremely knowledgeable with the most professional friendly customer service you will find.
David Fisher: Unlike a lot of consignment stores, Raleigh Furniture Gallery chooses its items with taste and discretion, and it shows. A beautiful Stickley dining room set stopped us in our tracks at the front door. We bought it and discovered that the rest of the store is packed with great pieces at great prices. We'll be back when we have more space to make over.
Cheryl R: The quality and selection here are always great.
Ferd Farkle Wedge: Raleigh Furniture Gallery is a gem! Located in Raleigh near the border of Wake Forest, it is truly convenient, the selection is awesome, Kevin and Ellen are amazing and let's not forget the store's dog, Toby! I have recently purchased a rug and 2 leather sofas... and will continue to shop here for additional pieces.
Ragiata Barrie: This place has ton to choose from for your home from great living room furniture to high quality rugs. Also great customer services.
Brian Alonso: They are very helpful and have a good selection
Maria Fadri: We got a great restored hardwood console table here for a very reasonable price. It was beautiful and like new, but made with solid wood like you can get only with antique furniture. A wonderful place to look for restored treasures for your home and office.
Neal Parker: I have only bought one piece from them, a sofa table used as an entry/hall table. I will say that they have a fantastic selection of items of great quality and they update their inventory in a timely manner. I do advise that one not rely solely upon their website pictures as everything has been so much better looking in person. This is our go-to first furniture store in the RDU-Ch area. You need to go and look at things personally and regularly.
D Dahlquist: Good quality furniture gently used. Something I loved in my budget! Kind staff too.
Diane Gandolfo: I used the gallery as a consignment for a piece of furniture. The process was fair, easy and extremely professional
Thomas Bohlmann: Great place. We had fun.
Corby Hackney: LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
Kimberly russell: Having just relocated to Raleigh from NJ and needing to find unique pieces I was underwhelmed by the furniture stores that I visited. The items were either way overpriced or mediocre. However, this is not the case for Raleigh Furniture Gallery. The items here are one of a kind, lovely and priced reasonably. I saw so many exquisite pieces. The two young ladies at the front desk were also very pleasant and encouraged me to return as their merchandise is fluid and is always changing with new items. I most definitely will as I had my eye on a few pieces. Best of all they deliver!!! I intend on being a frequent patron of their business.
Richard Simpson: Very Nice inventory and Customer service..
Maggie Skiles: This place is very lovely. The furniture is displayed nicely, the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable, and everything is reasonably priced! Beautiful consignment store!
Colt Pierce: Love this place! I walked in the door and Ellen had such a bright face and was so helpful! Raleigh Furniture Gallery has a great worker!
Lila Rieber: Consistently high quality products at great prices. Not junky like a lot of antique stores. Clean and well organized inside.
Todd Harris: I have shopped at the Raleigh Furniture Gallery for over five years. I keep coming back because of their wide selection of fine and antique items. The customer service and communication via Messenger is excellent. The prices are very reasonable for the Triangle area.

Union Camp Collective: what do users think?
John Barkley: Union Camp Collective is a fabulous romp that will make your head spin as it turns from one u inquest, intriguing item to another. Each more enchanting than the last. Charlotte, the owner, the design dream weaver, will introduce you to marvelous finds tucked into her palladium of charming furniture and decor. Step through the looking glass with her ( and there many fantastic mirrors in the shop) and venture with her through Charlotte’s Wonderland! She’s much more fun than Alice. Explore her bevy of barware, phantasm of fabrics, library of lamps, menagerie of mid-century modern, delirium of deco and awesome assemblage of antiques. Her store is a tribute to craft and style. The more you see, the deeper you go down the rabbit hole of decorating desire: I must have this bolt of scalamandre fabric, these sky blue etched champagne coupes, this 1930s bamboo desk, and this luscious floral sofa. Or this vintage watch, oddly enough eyed by a large white rabbit in a vest that matches the rug on the floor of the small house. Whatever you discover - and will be a discovery- you will always, always be happy you walked in the shop (and the back shed), and will ultimately have to force yourself to leave. Always with a special purchase in hand- or loaded in the back of a spacious SUV for those larger finds. Enjoy!P.S. One of my favorites from Charlotte’s.
Betty Lyn Eller: If you LOVE THE THRILL OF THE HUNT for amazing vintage wildly curated home decor served up with a side of the witty and delightful proprietor Charlotte Smith - LOOK no further than UNION CAMP COLLECTIVE! My own home is brimming with so many fabulous finds from this fabulous shop. It’s a Raleigh MUST SHOP always an inspiration and ALWAYS FUN!
Grady Balentine: I have been shopping with Charlotte, the proprietor of Union Camp Collective, for years. You’re always welcomed into the shop like a dear friend, and you are met by an ever changing assortment of unique furniture and decor items at all price points. Charlotte has a great eye for how to repurpose items. This shop is a gem and should regularly be on your calendar of places to explore.
Raven McDonald: A true gem of an antique store. One is sure to find something special on each visit. Charlotte is the best of the best and her boutique embodies her love of beautiful things! Union Camp is one of Raleigh’s most special furniture and home accessory boutiques!
Emily Slater: We have visited Union Camp for years. As I walk through our house, I'm fairly certain we have a Union Camp treasure in every room. It's always fun to stop in to see if that thing you're looking for (or that thing you didn't know you were looking for) is there waiting. Charlotte has curated a beautiful collection of vintage, antiques and more....we are so lucky to have this gem in Raleigh.
Jane Sacco: This store is the MOST fun. An artfully arranged symphony-for-the-eyes of eclectic finds and unique baubles you never knew you needed. If you’re lusting for something for your home that’s vintage, antique, special, or just plain cool - you’ll find it somewhere around the shop’s two onsite spaces.Union Camp is the brainchild of owner Charlotte, who’s knowledgeable, creative, helpful as all get-out, and just a gem of a person. Traveling far and wide to build her collection, she deftly pulls off the impossible - combining eras and styles in a way that’s unconventional, approachable, and with nary a smidge of pretension. If I’m in Raleigh, I’m making a stop at Union Camp (in the biggest truck I can borrow). You should, too!
Inslee Fariss: Charlotte is magic. The alchemy of Union Camp, the way it has been curated, is entirely unique and so cool. It’s furniture with heart and soul. The most beloved pieces in our home have come from union camp!
Mary Beth Werner: Union Camp Collective always has amazing unique pieces in the shop. Charlotte is very responsive and has great communication. I live a few hours away so I’m not always able to see pieces in person and she helps give honest representation of how the piece is condition wise. UPC is always fair on price and the pieces are even better in person. Can’t wait to see what next piece I will be wanting from here! Also, if you aren’t following her shop on social do yourself a favor and click follow!! Thanks, Charlotte!!!
Hannon Norton: Charlotte has the ability to find the most beautiful pieces of furniture and the knowledge to know their quality and uniqueness. Union camp is truly a one of a kind shop that I love going to and sharing with all of my friends. Charlotte is the kindest and funniest human and it shows in the wonderful store she has created! Highly recommend!
Anna Hosea: When I am looking for something unique or classic or vintage with a twist, my first stop is always to see Charlotte at Union Camp Collective. She has curated the best collection of object, furniture and art in the Triangle. Charlotte is super personable and helpful with delivery and decor ideas. She keeps refreshing her stock so it’s always worth just popping in. I will admit, I’m a longtime, repeat customer! Over the years I’ve brought home chairs, dressers, giant baskets, art work, side tables, linens, and more. 10/10 recommend for cool home stuff.
Lexi Andreoni: Such a fun place with a beautiful collection of vintage pieces!
Sofia: We were in the area and decided to stop in. So glad we did. What a beautiful place with eclectic and utterly charming finds. Like no other vintage or antique shop we've ever found. We were greeted by the lovely owner Charlotte and so graciously welcomed into her store. You can tell that great care and time was taken with hand selecting each item. If you're looking for that unique piece that reflects both style and personality, you're bound to find it here!
Dana Stallings: Charlotte was so sweet and we loved talking with her. The shop was well curated with lots of great quality vintage/antiques. She also gave us tons of great reccs for local places. Highly recommended!!
Ben Davis: Coolest store in Raleigh!!
Caroline Donaldson: The absolute best! Every time I’m in town, I make a point to stop by. The new location is awesome and once again the *pinnacle* of chic.
Dylan Auman: Not competitively priced considering the quality of what’s offered and what else is available locally. The person who runs the store also has a bad attitude. Unfortunately it’s a hard pass.
joey Muhammad: Very nice and even helped loading furniture on truck
evan bush: Recently stopped by to check out the inventory. As usual Charlotte didn’t disappoint. I was able to pick up a couple things and enjoy browsing the large eclectic inventory. Will continue to shop here!
Mike Cooper: A treasure trove of antiques and collectibles. Warm welcome and Charlotte really knows her inventory, and has a great eye. So glad to have discovered you!
Katharine McGrail: This place is fantastic! Not only does Charlotte find the most amazing one-of-a-kind items, she’s also a gem at helping you find anything you might be needing. Wonderful customer service and great finds! Love, love, love!
Leigh-Anne Lancaster: OVER THE TOP customer service, even during this CRAZY quarantine!! Wanted a unique, fun vintage gift for a friend and Charlotte was more than happy to help. She texted tons of pics of gift suggestions, gift wrapped and even delivered gift right to the friends doorstep!! Thank you, thank you -truly AMAZING!!! 💥🎁💃🏼💯💥🎁💃🏼💯

Pigfish Lane Antiques and Interiors: what do users think?
Tess Bushman: Great antique mall with some surprising (low) prices. Lots of fun to walk through and staff was very nice. Deceptive exterior. This is a multi level mall that is easy to get lost in. Great place to spend a sweltering summer day exploring.
Keri Banegas: Hope you have a few hours to kill because this place is massive. Very deceiving from outside, but it's tens of thousands of square feet big. It has an upstairs and a basement, both of which we couldn't get to. Their stock rotates regularly as she said the dealers come in weekly with new things. There's truly something for everyone here and you won't be disappointed!!
Ava Maldonado: So big and amazing things to see
Kim Satterwhite: Too expensive and formal furniture
Wilber Penny: we have purchased many items from them they have always been very easy to work with and have even had a couple lamps repaired there they are great
Nhatkhanh Nguyen: This place is awesome especially Karen, the nicest lady who works in the custom framing section. She did a fantastic job. Her work is quality. I would definitely recommend her. Thank you miss Karen.
Kathryn Perkinson: Great antiques! Great customer service.
Brian Plank: Nice mix of extremely pricy antique furniture and cool less expensive nick-nacks
Cornelis J van Dijk: Great place with great antiques
Peggy Hardy: Very clean and airy antique setting. Love to go when we come to NC. Always find something. Workers are always willing to help.
Sara Kelly: $$$. Very clean and tons of stuff. Gives very former plantation mansion vibes though.
Paula B: Grateful that the Shade Tree in Cary has endorsed Pigfish Lane for lamp repairs. The service and quality of the repair are both EXCELLENT! The staff is very knowledgeable and my lamp is working once again with a new cord and 3-way switch. Thanks for fixing the small things that make a big difference!
David Daughton: Interesting shop.b we thought it was still the wayside furniture. Sign is still up. Lots of stuff....just not what we wanted
Michelle Sinnott: What a nice shop. All kinds of unique and interesting items. A pleasure to see.
William Thompson: Very nice place. A little pricey by nevertheless a great place.
Zachary Davis: Amazing selection of curated knick knacks, furniture and decor. If you want an antique store more like a museum and less like a clothing thrift store, look no further!
Linda Williams: Could find all sorts of things in this place that moves from room to room and level to level. What a treat to look at all the treasures.
Lucia Nieves: Great
Kevin Stanfa: So much to look at and peruse. Some $$$ and some affordable. Could back several times over depending on the your needs. Lots of artwork!
Ben Robbins: Massive selection filled with mostly average easy to come by pieces at astronomical prices. Lots of furniture with damage. The staff followed me around like I was going to steal something. I'll give it some time and maybe try again.
William Viverette: Great selection of antiques and modern pieces very well displayed. I have always found their prices to be very reasonable for the type of inventory they sell. I hardly ever leave empty handed! Definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in the Raleigh area!

Revival Antiques: what do users think?
Jeff Walters: Simply great value for anything old, unique and in great shape.
Willie Barfield: Excellent place. They are going out of business, for good. We are gonna hate this, one of our best places to visit during the weekend.
Jonathan Tardif: A good selection of furniture to choose from. There are unfinished & refinished furniture to choose from and the finished pieces are extremely well-done. I wish I had a bigger budget, there were quite a few things I wanted to get in addition to the dresser I purchased. The staff is friendly & informative, and I certainly enjoyed shopping here more than the traditional furniture stores I've been stopping into this week.
Peter Samarga: Great store. Cool Stuff, super cool location.
Samantha Saraceno: I'll update once I can actually get inside the store... when I went this weekend, I walked in after a 35 minute drive and going through all the work to get my 13 month old out of the car just to be told they were closed for a "work day." Just a suggestion, maybe put a large sign outside when that is the case or post it on your website so people don't drive or get out of the car just to be turned away when you're only open 4 hours on a Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday. Or consider doing "work days" during the week or before/after your very short business hours so people don't waste their time.
Charles Brennan: Purchased several pieces of furniture there, it's worth a visit for sure. And options for delivery.
Jennifer Baxter: Always have a Great selection...and fair prices
Dan F: Awesome place, great furniture
David Leckrone: We were coming from Johnston County, and made a special trip out of our way because the posting said they were open. When we pulled up there were not open. It was 12:45pm.
Jamie Roszel: Couldn't be happier with our experience! Joe was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. He made great suggestions about style choices and finishes. We'll definitely be back for more furniture!
Alison Velchik: This antique store has a wonderful selection of various furniture, decor, and art that fits a rustic chic style. Friendly people and an additional large warehouse with an unfinished selection as well.
Conor Makepeace: Great place to find unique pieces for your home or business. Very friendly staff, interior decorator is phenomenal.
Stephen Konopko: Awesome items new and old. Friendly staff
Laura Beth Waltz: Very fun and different!
Angie Brandt: Let your imagination soar here. So many incredible pieces waiting to continue their journey in your home. You can shop the showroom which has loads of fun and finished items, but the real magic lies down the way in the warehouse. You can buy items as is or refinished. Two prices on the item to represent both options. Don't forget a meeting tape and be prepared to want more than one thing!
Jamie W: Friendly staff. Nice showroom of re-finished furniture and decorations and a large warehouse of unfinished used furniture you can buy as is or pay to have them finish. Prices were a little higher than we were looking to spend, even for an unfinished piece, but not unreasonable in general compared to similar furniture shops.
Beatrice ZM: Cute shop
Patricia Wing: Painted furniture with a shabby chic vibe where most is painted black or natural. New lamps and accessories mixed with old flea market finds make it fun the explore the front and back rooms. Worth the trip but it can be a little difficult to find on Capital Blvd because of it being a divided highway. Worth the trip if you want unique pieces of furniture to adorn your house and give it character.
Heather Wendeln: Fantastic place with an amazing selection! I've bought 3 pieces of furniture here.
ellis williford: Very nice shop of repurposed materials
Jesse: Interesting, very wide selection of antiques, great atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend checking out.

Antiques at Gresham Lake: what do users think?
Elle Bonet: incredibly kind staff and such fascinating treasures!!!! will absolutely be returning soon
Joy Blackwell Hicks: Excellent antique shop. Lots of booths with so many treasures. Definitely a place I will go back to again and again. Very clean. Not junky, but packed with stuff in every nook and corner.
Michelle Devine: A great selection of memories and love. Prices are reasonable. Be prepared to spend time to enjoy the atmosphere. Very helpful.
Caitlyn Lunsford: Lovely store, lots to look at!
Diana Davis: Enjoy the browsing
Deanna: There is so much to see here! I love this place!
Rhonda Humphrey: Awesome thrifting location. It's organized and most vendors do a great job of offering quality items. There's something for everyone if you love finding treasures.
New Bern Puppets: This store has a very friendly staff. The stalls are neat, brightly lit and well stocked with collectibles. There isn't a lot of furniture but plenty of smaller items.
Ashley Hutchinson: Love thisPlace!!
Cathelene Nunn: Nice store. Always something new to look at. Parking lot is a little tricky getting in and out but worth the bother.
Caleb Drum: We love coming here for antiques. Such a wide selection and wonderful curiosities to choose from. However, today we received terrible customer service from the older gentleman running the store. When we asked a simple question if they took credit for payment, he responded with “I’m not going to even justify that stupid question with an answer.” He even repeated this statement to us twice to get his point across. We seriously considered leaving without purchasing any of the goods we found.
william bruce: This place is amazing. Always so much stuff to find. It truly feels like a one of a kind antique shop, especially around the Raleigh area. Feels more like it belongs in a mountain town, and I love that feeling.
Merton Canady: Clean and organized
Derrick Sufczynski: Visited here with my family, we thought it was a really interesting and laid back store. There are lots of individual booths that all have their own personality. It was fun to wander through and discover so many interesting things.
Fernando Bautista: Porque me distraigo cuando estoy aquí, hay muchas cosas bonitas para decorar tu hogar.
Sandra Mills: They have it all ...great fun to shop there.
Kiri Grant: I come to this area 1-2 times a year from Washington, D.C. If you visit Wake Forrest without stopping here, you are missing out... I never walk out empty-handed as this place is full of awesome trinkets from several decades...
Bryant Hatcher: Has a little bit of everything. The prices are fair, and the staff are very courteous. Great location, and atmosphere. They have events with people selling outside. Got a singing Hank for a good price.
Donovan Kight: I didn't buy anything but the lady that owns it was extremely sweet and helpful. Lots of antiques to choose from.
Kurt Christiansen: Great place to shop
Kevin K: We love going treasure hunting here, you never know what you will find.

Pender's Antiques-Refinishing: what do users think?
Lindsay Willis: Penders refinished an antique hutch for us and did an amazing job. The transormation on the hutch is stunning and the white glove delivery service was top notch.
David Heckman: Way to hold the line
Dawn Bennett: The 100 year old mahogany dining table that I inherited from my grandparents had never been refinished and was getting rickety. It is used weekly for family dinners so I decided to have it repaired and refinished along with the chairs and matching buffet. I also had chairs reupholstered.Pender's was recommended by my son. David knows his stuff for sure. The dining set came out gorgeous...beyond my expectations! When David came to give an estimate, he was clear that it would be a few months before he could do the work. In the meantime, he repaired a table leg so it would hold up for the holidays.Debbie called to schedule the work a few months later just as David had said. He was also clear about how long the work would take and was spot on.I also got an estimate from another company and Pender's cost is very competitive. It was great to work with David and Debbie! I highly recommend Pender's.
Ann Pridgen: I had 2 tables refinished. They produced as promised. I was very pleased. They are very friendly and welcoming.
Trish Taylor: PI’ve engaged their services several times. Excellent workmanship! Great customer service.
Felicia Tittle: The first photo is before and the second is the finished product. They did an OUTSTANDING job!
Linda Deese: After my house fire I had to discard much of my furniture. I had some family heirlooms that were restored by Pender's Antiques. They were returned to me looking better than they ever had! I am in my new home now and these antiques are admired by guests. I tell them Pender is the way to go with old stuff to have it renewed and restored. Highly recommend these folks!
Martha Michaux: David runs a VERY efficient business. He gives clear guidelines as to when your piece will be ready and does beautiful work. He even picks up and delivers your goods. He refinished my parents' dining room table and chairs and his work is FANTASTIC. Happy to share we will provide another 40 years of fellowship and food on a table already packed with memories!
Linda Crandall: The family trunk that has been in my family since the 1800s was at some point painted a hideous green color and had broken hinges. Pender's was recommended by a neighbor who is a certified woodwork craftsman. What Pender's did was astonishing, they stripped it and lined with a beautiful fabric. The restoration is so incredible, thank you so much, the work done was top quality in every way! And, they were competitively priced, compared to others in the area.
Teresa Bailey: For many years Dave and his staff have finished treasured antiques and refurbished new treasures for my family. Each piece is beautiful. I especially like my dining room table he tweaked to meet my requests.
Lesia Cox: Perfection! 35+ Year old dining table and chairs restored and refinished to new beauty. Great work at a fair price. Thank you David and team….highly recommend!
Bakaysa: Impeccable workmanship. Customer service was most attentive to my project of couch, love seat and ottoman. Yes, time estimate was more than 2 months, but SO WORTH THE WAIT. You will NOT be disappointed.
Susan Murray: This was my review on Next Door in February: My husband and I have known David for over 20 years, bought pieces and had furniture refinished by him. We never had a reason not to trust him and considered him a good business acquaintance. Several years back we put a family heirloom on consignment with him, and also a vintage foosball table that he was going to see if his guys in the shop wanted to use. If so, he was going to pay us for it if not list it on consignment or return it. I am not going to say I am not taking any blame here, because due to our trust in him we did everything verbally and had not official paperwork, but over a year or after he had the piece, he called my husband with questions and requested we look for additional pieces to complete the piece. We did not think much of it, until my brother came up to get my mother’s furniture out of storage and wanted to take the piece back to Georgia with him. We sent him over to Pender’s where David told him he had sold the piece. David never contacted us about selling the piece or gave us the proceeds from the consignment, he said he lost the paperwork. He also denied that he owed us for the foosball table. To this day, David has never contacted us about this even though we followed up with him several times. Lesson learned, no matter how honest and professional someone appears, get the paperwork! So in response to Mr. Paterson's review and Penders' response, we did call and apologize for the actions of Mr. Paterson but not the fact to this date he has never paid us for these items. We spoke with David Pender the day the incident took place, we were as surprised as Mr. Paterson was to discover that this had sold because we never were contacted about the sale. Not only did he never say we had abandoned the furniture,he stated he was on the way to the lake, could not find the sales information and would get back to us when he returned. It was Pender's responsibility to call us when the item sold and forward us the proceeds, and to also pay us for the foosball table. He never did any of this, he basically stole the proceeds from us along with a vintage foosball table that could of been sold.
Theresa Stephenson: Pender's does quality work for an affordable price. I highly recommend them!
Chuck Patterson: Our relative took some furniture to this guy for consignment, they had to search for parts to one of the pieces, a desk. A few weeks later the family went to check on the piece and Pender had sold it, never paying the owners. I'd think twice about dealing with these folks. A word to the wise. He admitted he'd sold the piece but said he was unable to remember to whom it was sold or the amount. I mean come on what kind of a business owner doesn't keep records?
Rita Krosner: We took some chairs to Pender’s to have the sear recovered and fixed and the chairs turned out better than perfect!! In fact I think they are better than than when we bought them brand new from Ethan Allen. Mr Pender was a joy to work with and did an absolutely fabulous job!!
Libby Guerrero: Pender's restored, repaired, and reupholstered several family pieces for me. Their craftsmanship was great as well as their customer service. I was able to customize the restoration to my liking. Now the pieces are beautiful, updated, and functional.
Gail Ferreira: David does beautiful and careful work. Whether it's refinishing furniture or cleaning fine art, the craftsmanship is top shelf.
Willam Green: David and his staff did an excellent job of refinishing our breakfast/casual dining table. They were super careful when loading it on their trailer and meticulous in putting it back together when they delivered it. It looks brand new, but we believe it’s now better than brand new because their process and the products they use are the best and the workmanship is of such high quality. David obviously sets the highest standards for himself and all his employees.
RD Moore: Great craftmanship! I could not be any happier with the work that was completed. Above and beyond with customer service as well. Highly recommend them to anyone.
G Thorne: Highly recommend Pender for furniture repair. They did a great job repairing my recliner.
